The conditions… not so much. The tee boxes were uneven and as a lefty had the ball above my feet on almost every one. And most of them were beat up (pictured). The fairways were a mixed bag of grasses. And often enough patches of no grass (pictured). And when you were driving down them it was so bumpy you wish you had an inflatable donut underneath your butt. The bunkers were creative, and probably the best feature of the course. It was sad to see that it appeared they removed some, probably for pace of play. And they’re not sand, but what appears to be a native fine powder dirt. It played well. And then there’s the greens. They actually putted faster than they appeared they would, but most of them needed some TLC (pictured). All in all, was l happy with the $53 fee? Maybe. I think it’s more of a $30-$40 course. But again, the layout is awesome.
