Can’t believe Tawhiti Museum was all Nigel’s creation and vision (also with the help and support of the local towns people)- we had a chance to meet him in the gift shop and had a nice chat about his displays. We didn’t have time to take the rides but if you can, consider atleast one ride during your visit. Vicki is the best as we went in as ‘entry level’ purchasers and she could not have made the experience any better. So many ‘art’ shops have a kind of ‘snobbiness’ about them but not here. The place is full of fun, clever and exciting creations, all of which my husband and I were in awe of. Vicki could not have been more helpful. She was encouraging and fun to be around. We bought three pieces to start off our art journey. Thank you very much Quirky Fox - our framed art pieces arrived today perfectly packaged and better than I remembered.
