Cafe
Nestled just outside Apia, the Pacific Jewell Gift Shop & Garden Café is a delightful destination that combines delicious dining with unique shopping. Here, you can savor an array of light and healthy sandwiches, tempting crepes, and hearty breakfast options while surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The café offers a serene atmosphere perfect for enjoying breakfast or brunch amidst nature's beauty.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of discovering Pacific Jewel in Apia, and it was truly a hidden gem! The food and coffee were absolutely delightful—each dish was bursting with flavor, and the coffee was some of the best I've had. What really stood out to me was the vibrant range of gifts and clothing available. From unique local crafts to stylish apparel, there’s something for everyone. Although the location is a bit tricky to find, trust me when I say it's worth the effort! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy. I can't recommend Pacific Jewel enough—definitely a must-visit when in Apia!

What a hidden gem! Visited three times now for breakfast, and the garden cafe is lovely. Plunger coffee is good, food is great, and the service outstanding. The staff are friendly and efficient, and little touches like bringing a hand-fan and mozzie spray when seated in the garden is appreciated (having said that, I never saw any mozzies) In contrast to the resort where I stay, the wait-staff have obviously been trained well. The gift shop is well stocked and reasonably priced, with local and imported arts and crafts. Pacific Jewell really lives up to its name…..the garden cafe is an oasis of calm and although a bit tricky to find, it is well worth the effort
Tania T — Google review
Service here is the best in Samoa, always greeted with a smile and 5 star customer service in the shop and cafe. Best quality handicrafts, jewellery and gifts at great prices not to mention the amazing garden cafe. They are amazing at elei fabric and do the loveliest dresses, shirts and lavalava. There's something for everyone here 😍
Ngareta M — Google review
The gift shop has a great selection. I also went to the cafe and had the Thai beef salad. I was very nice.
Ben G — Google review
Truly a hidden gem! They have a very large selection of local handmade items from craftsmen in surrounding villages and authentic clothing and fabrics that are hand printed and sewn in the store. If you want authentic, high quality, Samoan made items, this is your place. Once you go out back to the cafe, it feels like you’ve stepped into a hidden tropical oasis. The garden is stunning and the food is exceptional. I highly recommend the Tile omelette and the Sasalapa drink. If you’re feeling like a bit extra, order the crepes and lemongrass tea. You won’t be disappointed. 10/10 must visit if you’re visiting Apia.
Justin O — Google review
Amazing garden cafe, surrounded by beautiful plants. Food and coffee was good. The gift shop has a great selection of souvenirs and gifts. It’s lovely to sit out amongst the plants, however a few mosquitoes around but insect repellent is provided.
Helen J — Google review
Love the garden setting, well landscaped & seems like you are far from town. Loved the sandwich & sasalapa drink I had but would not recommend the bagel (more like a bun or muffin). Great ambience!
Melanie E — Google review
Premium crafts made in Samoa so price is a little more than you'll find in the markets but there is no doubt most of what is here you will not see at the markets. Had lunch here also with family friends who live nearby. Food was delicious. The staff were mega friendly and there was no pressure to buy anything at all. Free to roam the shop and amazed at every turn. Walked away with bags of jewellery and homeware decore.

Cafe
Nourish Café in Apia, Samoa offers a European-style menu with a Samoan twist. The café is known for its healthy options, catering to vegetarians, as well as those who are dairy- or gluten-free. Despite the focus on health, there are indulgent treats like raspberry cheesecake waffles available. The café uses mostly local ingredients and provides a refreshing break from the prevalent deep-fried food found in Upolu.
I had such a great experience at Nourish Café in Apia! The food was absolutely delicious , I tried the poke with rice and some fries, as well as their balanced breakfast, and everything was so tasty and well-prepared. The flavors were fresh and satisfying. The café is tucked a bit further back, so it has a nice, relaxed vibe. The wait for the food was reasonable considering how good it turned out definitely worth it. If you’re in Apia and looking for a place with quality food and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend Nourish Café!

Great food; Nicely balanced meals. Good coffee. Very NZ / AUS geared. Staff very rushed to move people along ( which was a bummer ) Worthwhile to go if you need a good bite to eat and a great coffee.
S K — Google review
Very odd rating I know but this is how it went. The wait staff were smiling and polite and did there best in a very busy and cramped cafe. My biggest issues was the clearly power tripping woman behind the counter, and smashing that dam bell so hard my ears started to ring. Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding, with way to much force than needed and clearly there was some issue between her and the wait staff, even If they where with customers she continued to smash on the dam thing. That's why the rating is what it is and I would NOT go back. The food especially my fish and chips came out cold, the chips soft and without the sauce would of been flavorless, an island Cafe and such poor fish? The coleslaw had some type of slime to it. How this place has such I high rating is beyond me.
Roy T — Google review
Nourish Café offers an immaculate vibe with a spacious and beautifully decorated setting. There’s both indoor (air-conditioned!) and outdoor seating, which makes it a comfortable spot for any kind of visit. The menu is impressively diverse — from steak and waffles to poke bowls and even nasi goreng! I tried the nasi goreng, and while it’s not exactly traditional, it was still very tasty. The highlight for me was the blueberry cheesecake waffle — absolutely out of this world! If you prefer your waffles on the crunchier side, be aware these come drenched in a rich, flavorful sauce… but honestly, it’s so delicious, I didn’t mind at all. Their iced latte was excellent as well. I highly recommend adding a flavored syrup (available for an extra charge) — totally worth it. Service was prompt and friendly, and overall, I had a wonderful experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

My dad is a fussy eater and a hard man to please so you know you’ve done a good job when he won’t stop raving about the fish and chips from nourished. We arrived in Apia this morning and were absolutely destroyed. We needed some sustained and I found Nourish on Google Maps. It lived up to its expectations and we had such a good meal
David M — Google review
From the moment we walked in. The staff at Nourish welcomed us and we were seated in no time time. Selection of hot and cold drinks were great. Food was served just as quick and was exceptional. Recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing coffee and bite. Will be back.

Service is really a highlight. The waitress are super accommodating and friendly. My sister loves a a strong coffee. She will have 4 shots back home, in australia. From me it was too strong and the flavour was

Visited 2nd August. Nice ambience. Cool inside. The place was 60% full around 9:45am. Staff friendly enough, but it took awhile to be waited. We ordered Nourish soup & eggs Benedict with 2 large flat white. Coffee came in about 10mins. Waited a long time for food, at least 30mins. Soup was super plain, more like a boil-up. Egg Benedict came with 2 small halved buns topped up with eggs. Portion was small in relation to cost. Under-whelming overall. Large coffee with alternative milk is like medium but cost $15 WST I don’t recommend, sorry.

Restaurant
Seafood Gourmet is a popular dining spot in Apia, Upolu, offering a delightful selection of seafood and international cuisine. This restaurant is known for its affordable yet delicious seafood options such as gourmet fish burgers, lobster, seafood chowder, salt & pepper squid, fish & chips, and traditional Samoan oka. Visitors can also indulge in unique dishes like tuna belly with garlic butter and salad or chili spiked oka. The generous portions make it a great value for money.
Best fish and chips I’ve had — not just in Samoa, but anywhere in the South Pacific, including Australia and New Zealand. The batter was light and crispy, and the fish was cooked to perfection. Chips were solid, but the fish was easily the star of the show. Wish I’d snapped a photo when it first came out, but it looked too good and I was sharing with my better half — and if you snooze, you lose
Fred W — Google review
Pretty decent seafood available such as grilled fishes, sashimi and poke. Ordered the hoki fish and chips and it was fresh and tasty. Generous serving of french fries. This eatery requires you to queue to order. After which, a buzzer will alert you when the food is ready for collection. Don't expect much service
CK C — Google review
Located at the far right end of the Apia near the jetties. I ordered the fish and chips. The serve and the taste was great. The service by the two gentlemen working that day were pleasant as well. I like tasting fish and chips from different locations. This one passed for me. Try it out. The dine-in atmosphere was a bit dull but if you want a quick bite it doesn't really matter. Overall, 4 out 5 for good tasting food and service.
Krishneil N — Google review
Noticed food is bland across our food order (squid rings, chicken, seafood platter even the prawn fettuccine pasta. Service is fine though a little wait time due to the place is busy at lunch time service. The Ice cream shack in front is good place to get your sweet treats
Theresa S — Google review
Was almost put off coming here by the low rating but after eating here and reading through the reviews I can see that it is just people taking issue with the service. Yes, it's a bit unusual that you have to order at the counter and pay before you eat, but if you gave me that option or theatrical American style tip-hungry service I'd pick the former every time. Now back the main reason why you go to a restaurant... the food! Their tuna poke was by far my favourite and the most flavourful dish that I ate during my week in Samoa so if you're after a real taste of Polynesia during your stay in Apia this is definitely the place to come
Adam T — Google review
It's a basic fish n chips place. Great value for money. We got the chowder, toastie, fish of the day pan fried, chips, sashimi to die for, so fresh. I see comments about service, ours was brilliant. Wanted a couple of extra bits, no charge and bought to is quickly. For a basic F & C feed with some tasty extras, can't go past it
Kezzah T — Google review
Seafood Gourmet is a humble dining experience. Once you arrive you go to the back of the Restaurant to the register to order food. I had the fish and chips with squid rings on the side. The food fits the criteria. Also at the front of he Restaurant is a desert bar which is enjoyed by many locals, I enjoyed my ice cream here.
Jermayne R — Google review
Visited 2 weeks ago for late lunch. Have had people recommend this place. Ordered fish & chips $17tala and poke & oka ($10 each). Cheap. Fish was fresh and generous chips. Oka was also nice. Poke was horrible..the texture of the fish had changed and i can only compare it to the inside of a jelly bean texture...hard gel. Maybe it was an old batch that had been sitting in its marinade way too long.

Great coffee shop with tons of choices! It's a local favorite for a quick lunch. Loved that it was air-conditioned. I cooled down fast on the hottest part of the day. Update: Came back for some late breakfast! Yum...going 5 🌟

Coffee was very good- we had a flat white and cappuccino. Both were done very well and coffee was very strong. Got a meat pie and tuna sandwich to go- both were tasty! Accepts card or cash. Plenty of seating and parking and clean bathrooms. They have non dairy milk alternatives (soy and almond milk)

Was Shown this place by my cousin who is the High Court Judge in Samoa. (Not that anyone asked!! Low key flexing!) Hidden Gem, hands down the baddest coffee in all of Samoa. Coffee is out the gate!! Great place to have breakfast, awesome environment. Staff are really friendly. The male waiter who served us is the man, very polite, checks on how things are, asks if our meals are alright etc. Other Venues should take note on how customer service focused these people are. Well trainned, well mannered staff. Have been back 3 times in my current trip. Will continue to return here each time I visit Samunda. Keep up the good work and awesome customer Service!! Tucked away in the highlands of Upolu, Forest Cafe is a hidden gem accessible via a steep 4WD road off Cross Island Road. The menu offers a variety of options including toasted sandwiches, paninis, lasagna, Samoan souvlaki, curry and pancakes. Set on a 5-acre property surrounded by forest with the soothing sounds of a waterfall and running water in the background, this cafe provides an idyllic setting for enjoying delicious home-style food.
Look for the sign off the main road and follow a minor track down to a beautiful covered deck cafe in the of the forest serving the best breakfast in Samoa! Lovely atmosphere, really nice lady who owns and runs the place. Do yourself a favour - eat here!
Matthew M — Google review
Nice little oasis in the forest, was not easy to find though! Once you drive to the end of the road off Cross Island Road, take a right into the gate where it says "do not trespass" lol. Road was bumpy so definitely need a 4WD. Was not surprised when we got there only saw pick up trucks at the parking lot area. The breakfast food we ordered was standard (pancakes, american breakfast) but the chicken panini lacked flavor, I could barely finish it, though the portion was generous. Maybe some sauce or more cheese? Would go back for the relaxing set up. Bring bug spray and stay for the waterfall sounds surrounding you!
Tracy H — Google review
It wasn’t easy to find but so glad we did. The cafe is set in a 5 acre privately owned property surrounded by forest with the sounds of a waterfall and running water in the background. It’s not the easiest of places to find but if coming over the crossroads heading to Apia town it’s not far after the Bai Hai temple, though the small sign could only be seen if coming from Apia town. The food here was extremely tasty! Two of us had crispy chicken wrap, which was quite big, the toasted tuna sandwich and chicken panini were also very tasty. We decided to have desserts which were huge! The meals were really good value. We’d definitely recommend eating here.
Jenny S — Google review
Very nice food, pretty setting. The road is rough but you don't need a 4x4, although something with reasonable clearance would be helpful. I had a delicious vegetarian omelette.
Michele D — Google review
my favourite place to go to. Away from the crowd, beautiful location and amazing food. Will always come back here with my family. Can’t wait for the roads to be fixed again such a hidden gem . Beautiful fresh air also and lovely atmosphere
Leafine C — Google review
Do not let the intimidating, downward gravel drive put you off of visiting Forest Cafe - it's setting within a forest that boasts a waterfall make this a hidden gem. This is some seriously delicious home style food that will set you up for a full day of exploring the ever beautiful Samoa if that is what you seek. I had the 'American' Breakfast and Pancakes with bacon to share, and while that might sound mediocre it was incredibly delicious and so clearly cooked with love (I only have a photo of the pancakes because I devoured my breakfast faster than i anticipated). Chanel was warm, inviting and friendly, so much so it felt like I had returned to Mum's for Sunday brunch. Enjoy!!
Erica W — Google review
This slice of paradise was so beautiful 😍 stunning spot, cheap food and so good!! Nice portions, absolutely lovely staff. The road is dodgy but worth the bumpy trip! It is cash only though 😄
Amra S — Google review
Really good food at a reasonable price. Don't let the sketchy gravel road turn you away, the food is really good and the view of the rainforest is great. Piece of advice, if the black chalk board that's says Forest cafe open isn't on the intersection with Cross Island Rd. It isn't open.

Guests can also indulge in authentic Italian coffee while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.
One of my favorite places we kept returning to during our visit to Samoa. The location is fabulous since it was in the city center, a great place to walk around and shop! We ordered so many different dishes to try and loved each one! I wish I would’ve taken more pictures! We ordered a coconut cake for pick up the next day to take to our uncles house and everyone loved it! The Koko Samoa frappe was so delicious. The service was great as well! Everyone was kind and it’s a wonderful place to take your family and friends! Until next time, love from the states!

Before our little tiki tour of the island, we had to go try the viral and famous Coconut & Pineapple Slice at Milani Cafè & Cakes. My expectations were exceeded because it was the best cake slice I've had in my life, creamy, coconuty and pineappley; it was amazingly decadent. Also ordered a Koko Samoa Frappe, some Minty Mango smoothies (one with and without mint) and a vegan poke bowl, all delicious and exceptional. Inside it was clean and inviting, and it took only seconds to be greeted by wait staff as we entered, they were extremely helpful and friendly. Would recommend visiting if you are ever in Apia, Samoa. You will not regret it.

After having a meal at Paddles last night, we were referred here by the owners brother. We didn’t regret it either! After a morning of being out on the boat fishing, we were famished so we split a serving of bao, I had the chicken wrap and the old man had the pasta. We demolished everything! It’s a quaint, lovely cafe with immaculate service - loved it!
David M — Google review
As soon as we arrived to Samoa, we had to come and check this place out! The waiters were very welcoming and helpful, the variety of the menu was great! Service was excellent and the food was so fresh and delicious! The viral pineapple and coconut cake was definitely worth the hype, I highly recommend this cafe.

I follow Milani Cafe on IG so it was definitely on my go-to list when we were on holiday in Samoa with my family. They shared a slice of their famous Pineapple Coconut cake whilst waiting for their Mango smoothies and top seller Koko Samoa Frappe - All amazing! They even opened their kitchen to make me their Plant based lunch bowl. (It was that delicious, I forgot to take a pic). Amazing staff, amazing service & atmosphere, amazing owner who we chatted to. Will def come back 😀

Top tier breaky that's actually worth your money. Than you have the dessert section which is the best I've had by far in Samoa🤤Coffee is a tad bit on the sweeter side, so you can order it to your liking🙂 I would 100% recommend this cafe🥳 Also, customer Service was amazing (definitely an 11/10) very considerate when it comes to kids. The waiter❤️I forget his name but he is so thoughtful✅️

The open-air setting allows guests to enjoy ocean breezes while sipping legendary cocktails and taking in the elegant marina view.
A great place to sit with a view of the harbor and town. A great happy hour, though it's longer than an hour. Food is simple but tasty. Taula beer on tap. I highly recommend it.

Nice view but unfortunately that's all it had going for it. Waited over an hour and a half for food. With a 3 and 4 year old that is hard, could have bought their bowl of chips out first. Fish burger and chips were OK, chicken wrap was bland and the vege nachos were awful, tasted like a bean mix covered in stock powder was not edible. Milkshakes amd smoothies were nice however will not be back was disappointed

Been here a few times, service, atmosphere, and views are great. Good family time. The seafood platter $60 is overpriced and bought 2 beers and a smoothie all of it came to $100 ... how much are the drinks? No reciepts given, no prices on the drink menu. Felt underwhelmed on this part..... such a nice evening with family though.

Been here a number of times during our visits to samoa. Great spot during the day for a few drinks and a bit to eat. Very busy party atmosphere in the evening that may suit the younger visitors.

We just got a couple of beers to cool off before getting back on our cruise ship after walking around the city all day. The beer was cold and it was nice to sit right on the water. The service was abysmal though. We saw a few servers after placing our order for a round of beer, but then they rarely came to our table and were incredibly hard to even wave down, as if they were actively trying to avoid us. I'm sure that wasn't the case, but it was almost comically bad service. They weren't very busy either, with maybe 6 other tables between 3 servers... But if you want to cool off before getting back on your cruise ship, I'd still go back.

I went fishing in the morning. This was the first place we visited after being at sea most of the day. The food and drinks were well priced, served fast and was nice 👍👍 with a tiny bit of work, this place could be humming with business. The location is well positioned. Customer service was on point. The cold beers were a lovely touch, to celebrate a seki day Sea, catching fish 🐟 ⛵ 🍺🍻 just be mindful, there are a few peddlers around. Ran into the same dude about 5 times lol.

We visited the marina one evening for drinks and a light meal. The setting was beautiful and relaxing. We ordered drinks and some tuna sashimi, but after an hour and a half — and a second round of drinks — our food still hadn’t arrived. The large table next to us also hadn’t been served, so we eventually left without eating. We can’t comment on the food itself, but the service let the experience down.

Arrived at 1:30 and were told kitchen was closed. I reminded staff that website and sign outside said open until 3:30. Chef said he would re-open. Should have left it closed. Chicken schnitzel was OK but sea bass was undercooked. Needed another couple minutes - was very soft and little taste. Smothered in sauce that tasted like eggs. Not good at all. This place was such a good find on our holiday! Service was immediate as soon as we walked to the counter. The wait time for food was great, only 10-15min top. For drinks it was under 5 minutes! Food menu had a good selection especially for the kids food! The Cocktail menu was equally as good too. Also the view of the river and a wide range of seating both indoor & outdoor to choose from.

I can’t travel anywhere without trying a burger and was lucky enough to grab an amazing burger from Phat Burger. I tackled the Big Uso and even though it beat me by a couple of bites it was an awesome burger, tasty beef, cheese and bacon, crunchy onion rings and complimented with fresh lettuce, tomato and sauce. My partner loved her chicken burger and the rest of the menu looked great also. I’ll be back next time I’m in Apia to give one of their steak burgers a try as they sounded awesome.

Phat Burger is definitely the spot if you’re looking for a big, tasty feed in Apia! I ordered The Dominator with three patties, and it was absolutely delicious – juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Every bite was so satisfying, and it really lived up to the name! The tacos slap! 10/10 The place is open-air, which gives it a cool island vibe, but I recommend bringing some mosquito repellent just in case. Other than that, it’s an awesome spot to hang out, enjoy good food, and leave with a full stomach. Highly recommend if you’re craving a proper burger in Samoa!

Burger shake and mac and cheese bites were spectacular. Easily best burgers in Samoa. Very good service from staff, great DJ mix to listen to while you're there with bits of kiwi music

All the locals will recommend it and as an Aussie it comes highly recommended. Fresh produce and delicious. Plenty of options, huge range of burgers too and mainly gf through the menu 100% try this out.... a must! Cocktails are epic! Shame we didn't go a few times. Lovely spot and beautiful art on the walls, shack style place with air-conditioning.

We had burgers and chips here last night and it was awesome! We got 4 different burgers, including one of 3 vegetarian/vegan burgers and they all tasted lovely! The restaurant has a lovely tropical garden and small river. The staff were so sweet and informative, and were nice enough to call a taxi for us to take us home afterwards. Thank you very much! We will recommend your restaurant to friends of our who will be visiting Samoa/Apia in the future!

All Things Sweet Cafe is a beloved gem in Samoa, celebrated for its exquisite cakes that are often the centerpiece of local weddings. However, this charming spot offers much more than just desserts; it's an ideal destination for breakfast or lunch. Guests can indulge in freshly prepared dishes like tuna sashimi, vegetarian frittatas, paninis, wraps, and sandwiches. The cafe's inviting atmosphere makes it perfect for enjoying a delightful coffee or smoothie alongside one of their many tempting treats.
Trying to find a place where both food and coffee were great was found right here in 'All Things Sweet' Having been a few times, it never disappointed. Fresh local produce used in the meals certainly made it enjoyable and different given my Australian palate. And if you’re one who enjoys their morning brew, then head down and give their coffee a go, as I would leave my 5star hotel early morning just to get in on it 😆 Thank you ATS. I’ll be back in the holidays to get my morning fixes 😉

All Things Sweet has done a few things for me and I am so impressed by their service and professionalism. My mums 70th birthday cake was truly amazing and so is my nieces graduation boxes with biscuits with their names on it. My nieces were besides themselves. It is not just me that does orders through them, my cousins does it as well from overseas like I do.😁 It is a beautiful way to send love to your family.

A quiet peaceful place for a coffee and scones or cakes. Coffee was extra hot as we requested. Very reasonable price. Helpful and relaxing. Not a large space but enough to manage 3 to 5 couples. We went there every morning ...thanks. Brian

With its cozy atmosphere, Kofe Haus is perfect for those looking to enjoy a satisfying meal without venturing too far into town. Awesome outlook under the trees. Breeze blowing through. Soup had a few too many pieces of just fat. Still tasted delicious and would go back but would ask for not so many fatty pieces in the supo.

Kofe Haus in Apia is one of the best places to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Since my dad and mum both work there as chefs, I have experienced some really great food. Everything is fresh, tasty, and full of flavour. The restaurant feels comfortable and welcoming, making it a nice place to relax or enjoy a meal with friends and family. The staff members are wonderful too. As soon as you walk in, they greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. Everyone is friendly and helpful, which makes the visit even better. I would definitely recommend Kofe Haus to anyone looking for delicious food and good service. I always enjoy going back.

A perfect example of "dead weight". Too many employees standing around doing nothing. You have to wait almost a half hour for someone to come around even though it's empty . They just look at you as if you're an inconvenience to them. An interruption to their personal conversations. Also, how do you run out of bacon at 8am? The service is subpar and the food is mediocre. I don't know who owns this rundown establishment, but they either need to get it together or shut it all down.

Kure Juice Bar is a delightful cafe located in Apia, Samoa, that offers an array of fresh and healthy dishes bursting with flavor. The menu features delectable options such as the Pesto Burger and Mushroom Pesto Panini, both highly recommended by visitors. In addition to the savory offerings, Kure Juice Bar also serves excellent smoothies and sweets.
Delicious little cafe sharing the premises with the Coffee Roasters. We loved it and went back a couple of times during our stay in Apia. We ended up trying most of the dishes on the menu and they were all fresh, healthy and full of flavours. The food exceeded our expectations, they use some very tasty sauces (such as home-made vegan pesto) that really enhance the taste of each dish. The smoothies and the sweets are excellent too and the staff is very friendly.
Vittoria P — Google review
This is a lovely little place with a vegetarian menu. That's why I stopped by. They open from 6:00am to 1:30pm so only available for breaky and lunch. I ordered a mushroom and pesto penini for takeaway and it was tasty. The service was great and very friendly. I was kept updated about the progress of my order. They also wished me a good day as I existed. All these are nice touch to make one welcomed. I give 5 🌟s for the food, service and atmosphere.

What a gem in Apia. Amazing vegan food! I had a delicious sushi bowl and then took a mushroom and pesto panini takeaway back to my fancy hotel as the food is so much better at Kure. Lovely service and reasonable prices too.

Honestly, some of the most delicious food in Samoa by far!! We came here nearly every day since arriving in Samoa. 2 of our favourite dishes were the Pesto Burger and the Mushroom Pesto Panini - both out of this world! Everything on the menu is good. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone and we'll certainly be back when we are next in Samoa. 🌴❤️

I should’ve taken a photo of the smoothie too, but there is just no way a photograph could capture how sublimely delicious it was. Nice cafe, service from wait staff is great, but very disappointed by service from one of the owners. My son was using our phones to keep him occupied and the owner (woman) approached our table and POKED my 6 year old and told him to turn the phone down. I have no issue with her asking the adults for the phone to be turned down. We were enjoying our family breakfast so much we didn't even notice and that was our mistake. I appreciate we should have been more mindful. Under no circumstances should an adult approach a child and poke them when other adults are there to be spoken to. Incredibly poor service and we would not return here due to this behaviour. I was in shock and disbelief at the time so didn't say anything but feel this was unacceptable. It definitely ruined our otherwise enjoyable breakfast together. A shame because everything else was good - wait staff are lovely, food is good and cafe is nice also.

First time in Samoa and a friend took me to this place for coffee! Once there I noticed they also served food and considering the latte was so delicious I came back for lunch. The steak I ordered was perfectly done and tasted amazing. I also added a donut to finish the meal. Why not? Oh and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!e

We dined here for lunch. For entree I had the squid and my partner had mussels. The squid was tender but just needed a little more spic. My partner enjoyed the mussels. For mains my partner had the fish and I had a chicken salad. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the fish and the salad was delicious. The wine list is solid and I enjoyed a glass of rose. The service was excellent. We will go again. They do a pretty good sourdough as well. Oh and the tiramisu I took away was delicious!

My family at I were looking for a place that had some good vegetarian meals as the resort we were staying at have very limited options. We stumbled across this gem and were delighted to see an array of vegetarian and vegan options for us to try. We didn’t have a bad word to say about the food and drinks we ordered. We ordered 5 different meals and every single one was delicious. The food itself is a very reasonable price and the servings were very generous. They have meals with meat also on the menu so good for families that have some meat eaters. The staff were lovely and really appreciated our business. We plan to go a few more times whilst on our holiday and I highly recommend you go here if you’re looking for a place with lots of vegetarian and vegan options.

We had the pleasure of indulging in a delightful pre-massage treat at the charming Rivaiv Cafe. With some time to spare, we ventured into this oasis of refreshment to quench our thirst and satisfy our sweet cravings. Stepping into the cafe, we were immediately greeted by the blissful embrace of cool air conditioning, providing respite from the heat of the day. As we settled into our seats, we couldn't help but be enchanted by the fantastic music playing in the background. It was impossible to resist humming along and even singing out loud to a few songs. Our taste buds were in for a treat as we perused the menu. I opted for the tantalizing vai ti polo and a delectable mini pavlova, while my companion, Eli, chose the refreshing Iced Koko Samoa drink and a slice of delectable carrot cake. With every bite and sip, we were transported to a world of flavors and culinary delight. The sweets were irresistibly delicious, leaving us with satisfied smiles on our faces. The ambiance of the cafe itself was a feast for the eyes. Vibrant colors and modern decor adorned the space, creating a delightful atmosphere that perfectly complemented our overall experience. It was evident that attention to detail and aesthetic appeal were important to Rivaiv Cafe, making our visit all the more enjoyable. In summary, our visit to Rivaiv Cafe was a delightful addition to our day. The cool respite, fantastic music, scrumptious treats, and inviting decor all contributed to a memorable experience. We highly recommend stopping by this charming establishment to indulge in their delectable offerings. #PattyAndEliTravelDiaries

We came here for lunch. The staff were nice and told us in advance that it would be a bit of a wait which we appreciated. Food was good. The Coffee Bean Cafe is a delightful coffeehouse chain that offers an extensive selection of beverages, including their famous ice-blended drinks. It's the perfect spot to unwind after exploring local attractions or enjoying outdoor activities like snorkeling at Palolo Deep Marine Reserve. Guests rave about the generous portions and unique local twists on classic dishes, such as breadfruit or taro hash. The cafe serves up delicious breakfast options, from pancakes to eggs Benedict, alongside refreshing smoothies made with tropical fruits.
Good coffee and gelato, and attentive and lively staff. I didn't stop for breakfast, but I would in future based on this experience and the good menu options.

Huge, reasonably priced meals with some nice local twists, e.g. breadfruit or taro hash instead of potato. We had the pancakes (small stack), an eggs Benedict, a baked bean breakfast, a big breaky, a banana smoothie, and a tropical fruit smoothie. All were very good. Great coffee here and large cups too. Service was slow & one smoothie forgotten but apparently that is uncharacteristic of this place. Really nice lunch menu so would return for that
R N — Google review
Service was friendly but incompetent. My small coffee cost $13 (WST). Placed our order twice with 2 different waiters and the 2nd waiter didn't know what "panikeke" were despite it being on the menu and needed to go out back to ask. We really only came for the "Whipped Apia" Gelato that the signs boasted out front. So we ordered banana fritters but asked to swap out the vanilla ice cream for their Special Whipped Apia Coconut Jam Gelato. It tasted exactly like french vanilla so we were confused as to whether we actually had just been served their regular vanilla but charged an extra $8 per dish. We asked for clarification and they assured us it was the special ice cream. But instead of making allowances for the fact that ice cream was swapped out...we were charged as if there was the normal ice cream PLUS the cost of the additional special gelato which ended up being an expensive ice cream stop lol. So our advice is to not bother with the hype of the Whipped Apia Gelato. Fritters were yum, panikeke were nice and coffee was great (but stupidly expensive). Soy milk costs $3 extra?! Then an extra shot costs another $3?! Small coffee ended up costing $13 (WST)

Coffee Bean has very awesome coffee's. My personal favorite is their flat whites. But, they have a variety of coffees available as well, from cappuccino, fraps, mocachino and many more. The place also serves delicious cup cakes, muffins, sandwiches and tasty treats to go along with your cuppa. It is a very cozy place that would be highly recommended for book worms to fade away to into their stories while enjoying their coffee. Also, they have a very friendly bunch working there, makes you feel at home while you await the barrista's final product to be served. There is also an outdoor space if you feel like soaking in some sun (although I would recommend you stay inside the nice and cool air con lol). Hope this review helps anyone deciding to visit coffee bean or not. The coffee will be worth your $10 lol Cheers. Tofa soifua

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee at this joint. Coffee was on par with my home town in Melbourne, which is a big call. Catch you next time when I’m in town.

Really worth a visit if you'd like some peace and quiet and Coffees. Food is pretty good. Cainet baked sweets are good. I like the way they put local foods and vegetables on the menu and some gluten free foods away well. Eggs bene worth a try because they used some breadfruit the days I had it. Very tasty although cook might need some training help with the sauce making process.

Definitely not like in Australia but the best on the island for sure. The machine does the great job with espresso but for latte art you need one of the guys. But even so I can't tell the difference between cappuccino/latte/flat white (apart from the chocolate powder of course). I appreciate late closing hours. The chairs are not that comfy for long sitting, however.
