From the moment I came in, I was amazed at the staff’s hospitality and service. The attention to detail and made me feel very important. The rooms were beautifully designed and comfortable. I can definitely say that this is the best hotel I've ever been to!

I am a loyal Marriott member that have stayed in many different ritz Carlton hotels around the world and this 1 is certainly the worst. Room in poor condition. Damp smell on the pillow and bedsheet. Reception also vehemently refused to add my booking to my Marriott account for no reason. I would definitely not stay in ritz Carlton Tianjin again in the future.

The lobby area and the lounge are some of the most atmospheric places to have tea in Tianjin. Probably the reason why most of the people come here would be for their iconic afternoon tea set. However, we found out that the portions here are much bigger than what we expected. Although I do recommend their afternoon tea, it is totally fine to just casually walk in and choose one or two desserts from the menu. (This at least worked for the 3 of us) Despite having a beautiful atmosphere, though, I do have to mention that the service here wasn't top-notch. As we walked into the lounge, not only did no one greet us, but also they didn't mention that the table we chose was reserved. We were eventually told this 15 minutes after sitting, and they didn't even hand us the menu before I asked them to do so. In addition to this, only the general manager of the lounge was able to speak English fluently. (This was shown when my dad tried to order who didn't speak Mandarin.) On the hardware aspect, though, the venue offered an unparalleled experience with a very unique style that can not be found here in Tianjin. Overall, it was a pity to see this hotel struggling to offer the creme de la creme customer experience despite its huge potential to be the dominant leader in the Tianjin hotel scene. (The reason why there is no star rating for the room is because I stayed at the Four Seasons and visited here just for the tea.)

We had a room with nice view of the Hehai when concierge heard that we came to China to celebrate birthday. Hotel is well maintained and strategically located. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Food in Shang Palace is delicious and reasonably priced. Overall experience in this hotel was excellent and will recommend friends/families to stay in this hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights for vacation and had an amazing experience. Rooms and atmosphere: This hotel is relatively new, only being built in 2019. I was impressed as soon as we pulled up with the circular driveway and the warm and soothing lighting. The room was clean and luxurious, with a top-of-the-line Toto toilet, plenty of amenities (even after a disclaimer that they are being eco-friendly and had to omit some!), a Nespresso machine, and at least 6 complimentary bottles of Conrad-branded water. The room was comfortable and equipped with buttons to control the shades and curtains. The only drawback about the room was the temperature, even though Hilton has no control over this - we were not able to control the heat due to municipal government regulations and so it was very hot and dry at 26°C. Service: Concierges were helpful from the beginning, opening the door for our vehicle and all future taxis we called from the hotel, as well as helping with our luggage. Front desk staff was also professional and helpful, albeit not very confident in their English (everyone usually defers all English-speaking guests to the supervisor). The check-in process was not as smooth as expected - we were delayed by the front desk asking for a confirmation of our friend's employment information to confirm whether we were eligible for our rate, which I haven't been asked for at any other Hilton property. Be prepared with their name, position, and the Hilton property where they work. This is the hotel we stayed in our recent trip to Tianjin. The hotel is located quite way out of the city but is in it's a resort style environment. It's a nice and big hotel and the lobby was huge and well decorated. Our room was spacious, bright, clean and cosy, we rested well as the beds were comfortable. There's a big writing desk. The toilet was huge too, with bathtub. Room service was well done too. However, the TV in our room had poor reception and although we had requested for room service to fix the problem （the staff didn't come instantly and so we went out and let the staff who came later to fix it）. But having said that, the staff could not totally resolve the issue. Although the reception was slightly better, the TV still show "ghost and blurish" images! (after we returned a few hours later) And they also install electric mosquito traps on the window （and even on the lamp of the writing desk） and if you are not careful, you will get "electrocuted". Although the effect was minimal, you won't feel comfortable. There's a small label on the window stating the mosquito trap but I believe very few people would have noticed it but no label on the writing desk. Breakfast wise, the spread was large, with local and international cuisines but there's "hits and misses" too in terms of the food and quality. I slept here the last night on the way from Beijing to Seoul. The room condition was good and the morning meal was also quite good. It was nice that they showed their smile on their face.

This is easily a 5 star hotel. It's location isn't great, it's a long way from anything. But otherwise the rooms are beautiful and overall the hotel has a palacial feel.

A new hotel and rooms are very well designed. The room i stayed has shower, Toilet, Jacuzzi, 2 hand wash bowls in an area as big as the bed room. There is a business desk and sofa seat in a spacious bed room. Very comfortable. The only problem is lack of taxi that's is willing to go short distance. But the hotel will help you to call one using their local Uber or Didi Chuxing and a taxi will appear within minutes. Very impressed.

Only because I was in the north building it made my stay a pain. Going for breakfast to the main building and back is a disaster specially when it's cold and you like to sleep in. There is a gym in both buildings but the one I went to (north) was tiny and I dont think it was visited by cleaning staff too often. Used towels all over the floor, no new ones, dust bin full of empty bottles.
