Restaurante Chef Amadeo

$$$$affordable
Mediterranean restaurant
Valencian restaurant
Restaurante Chef Amadeo is a popular dining spot in Gandia, known for its relaxed atmosphere and classic cuisine. It's a favorite among food enthusiasts seeking an unforgettable gastronomic experience. The restaurant offers a variety of high-quality dishes, including over 15 types of rice dishes, fresh seafood, meats, the traditional fideua de Gandia, and other well-known Mediterranean delicacies.
Wonderful paella! Highly recommended. The service was very good, friendly staff, quick abd efficient. The paella de marisco was really good, tasty, and the quantity was just right. I'll definitely come back.
Sandra ( — Google review
The seafood appetizers were excellent as well as the croquettes. They specialize in rice dishes. We took the seafood paella that was well garnished although very oily and salty to our taste. The wine list is great and at very reasonable prices. The restaurant was packed and we had a table at the far end of the terrace. Therefore it took a while to get the waiter’s attention. The place is very popular so reservations are recommended. Enjoy.
Alexandre V — Google review
Great food and atmosphere. Don’t miss his videos and learn to cook paella!
Robbie R — Google review
Agua de Valencia was delicious, homemade, recommend. I can't say anything about the food because we left the restaurant hungry, the waiter didn't want us to order Valencian paella because it takes 1 hour to cook, and he said that our table needed to be vacant by a specific time. Please don't sit people if you deny customers to order dishes they came for. It's one thing if you run out of ingredients; another is if the customer just came, you already wish us to leave. Very disappointing.
Iuliia L — Google review
Awesome restaurant! Everything we tried was delicious. Service was friendly and very professional. Prices are affordable for the quality they offer. Highly recommended!
Ludmila O — Google review
Service is great, but food is in general overpriced for the quality and quantity offered. The “arroz del senyoret” was a bit undercooked and didn’t have enough seafood. Or rice for that matter. “Zamburiñas” is priced per unit, and very expensive.
Fernando M — Google review
Good Sangria - 7/10 Paella valenciana is ok but needs more meat and less green beans. 6/10 We unfortunately had bad service due to a waiter turning up to work drunk. The Paella was served very messy. We had rice all over our table by the time our plates were handed to us. 1/10 Joan was very kind and provided true good service in the end. 10/10 person Would recommend coming here for anyone who enjoys fish and Paella. Unfortunately this place is not for me.
Filipe A — Google review
Hello I was suprised about the good tasr off the food we get, we ordered Zamburiñas and then paella de marisco. The food is Espectacular, I see chef Amadeo in action on the internet. Super nice food, we go back this week , thanks for the nice and friendly service. Paul and Nina , Belgium

Restaurante Il Borsalino

$$$$cheap
Mediterranean restaurant
Restaurante il Borsalino is a casual beachside spot in Gandia, Spain, offering set lunches, wood-fired pizza, and delectable Italian desserts. The restaurant features brick interiors and provides a cozy atmosphere for diners. It is known for its delicious Italian cuisine and is a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.
We had the “menu del día” that had plenty of options to choose from. The merluza was delicious. Because we were in a hurry, we forgot to leave the tip, the staff friendly and helpful.
Patricia L — Google review
The food at il Borsalino is absolutely fantastic! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! Highly recommend pizzas (any of them) and Bolognese Veal Escalope. We can’t say enough good things about the service at this restaurant. The staff is incredibly accommodating for minor changes and goes the extra mile to ensure guests are happy. Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The delicious food, impeccable service, and charming ambiance, made for memorable experiences.
Ethan D — Google review
Not a restaurant I would recommend to friend. Quality of food was low as well as service. Not worth money you would pay. Not at all Italian. We ordered wooden flame baked ravioli and we had a typical watery salsa ravioli. Bit salty as well. We ordered also patatas bravas (not Italian) and again quality not worth the cost.
Carolina W — Google review
Excellent food, price and service once again. And a very efficient waiter who has good English, thank you, highly recommended 👍😎
Jimbomo M — Google review
The pasta was cold. The pizza was okay, but the sausage tasted like it was store-bought. The staff was sweet, but the service was slow.
Meltem D — Google review
You know when you have a long day and you are tired and you don't feel like going out? What do you do? Well, I tell you what I have done, went to il Borsalino and ordered pizza for takeaway. The lady at the client reception desk was very helpful and even if they were busy the pizza was ready in 10 minutes. The kitchen has a window and you can see the chefs at work. Pizza had a thin crust and the toppings didn't disappoint. All the customers in the restaurant were having a good time.
Claudia — Google review
I'm afraid I must post what I think publicly. My girlfriend is lactose intolerant and has alpha-gal, the dinner was going great, we asked for the vegan non gluten pizza. They brought us a vegetarian pizza and asked the waiters multiple times if the cheese was vegan and the pizza was vegan they kept saying yes yes yes, 4 times. Unfortunately I had to bring my girlfriend to emergencies due to the unprofessionalism of not double checking their order properly. I'm not wanting to blame anyone for what happened but it's a dangerous behaviour to have this little care for some food so SPECIFICALLY asked for. The restaurant I'm sure it's great, but my experience wasn't the best sadly, I wish this restaurant the best, but I must please ask to be careful with these specific orders. Second guessing is better than just delivering whatever, please take health seriously when your clients do tell you they have a life threatening condition.
FFX D — Google review
One of my favorite places to eat in Gandia. I even bring my clients here. The food is great and the staff very kind and professional. The manager (and owner) Actor is such a gentleman and always is making sure we're getting the best service posible. Same goes for his team of waiters and chefs👍🏼 They serve a delicious Menu Del Dia.

Restaurante Parsifal

$$$$affordable
Mediterranean restaurant
Nestled along the picturesque promenade, Restaurante Parsifal offers a delightful dining experience with stunning sea views that enhance every meal. This laid-back venue specializes in authentic Valencian cuisine, particularly known for its exquisite seafood and traditional rice dishes. The highlight of their menu includes the delectable fideuà made with fresh local fish from Gandia's market, alongside succulent lobster and prawns. Guests rave about the impeccable service and friendly staff who create a welcoming atmosphere for families and visitors alike.
We had seen some great reviews and some bad reviews so we were unsure... but it was great! The staff were helpful, friendly and patient even though we don't speak much Spanish. The fideua was delicious, my Dad had a steak which was great, and we had croquettes, prawns and calamari to start which were all good too. Would come again next time we come to Gandia
Tbanger10 — Google review
The food was terrible- they give patatas bravas with Ketchup. Tuna was smelling bad.was not grill . I guess they cook in Microwave. Because was not grill. The kitchen was any pan or something. All we order was very bad. No taste .People next to us have paela was row.
Mimi B — Google review
The order was 1 beer, 1 water, 1 cola. They brought 1 liter of water for me alone. The waiter did not warn that there was no small bottle of water. He brought an open liter bottle of water. I think the water could have been from the tap. The cola was the smallest in Spain (325 ml). I do not recommend it to my friends.
Oksana P — Google review
Best restaurant I've been in in Gandia. Right on the beachfront so you smell the sea as you sip your cocktail. Great food
Joseph W — Google review
The best place to eat. We moved to ontinyent from the UK and we've been here twice now luckily out of season or it would be hard for us with 5 kids to get seated. The restaurant is impeccable in all aspects. Food-perfect, service-perfect, time waiting-perfect. The staff are the best they make everyone smile as they are genuinely nice people we will always go and eat here when we go back to Gandia. Thanks to you all.
LEE B — Google review
Expensive, decent food, presentation was very good and staff were nice enough. Nothing to race about considering the price. We ate the seafood platter, octopus and goat cheese salad. The salad was excellent, seafood was okay - a bit bland, octopus was cooked well - lovely and tender.
Tristan L — Google review
Visited on Saturday, very busy day. Full house, but the distance kept very well. Loads of seating available inside outside and at the back of restaurant. Several waiters attending. Clean and decorated with taste. Good choice of food. It's the first row to the sea, so perfect location.
Anna P — Google review
Stopped by for some lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and were seated almost immediately. Great location right by the beach. The staff were obviously really busy so service was a little slow but it wasn't an issue. We were there to relax, enjoy some wines, and delicious paella. The portion was excellent and the seafood fresh and delicious.

Tonight is our 3rd night in a row having dinner here. All the dishes we tried were delicious. Federico is very friendly and knows his job. The first two nights, we had a seafood stew. The third night, the T-bone steak. All dishes were absolutely delicious. In addition to this, you are right by the sea, which is simply beautiful.

Delicious food and great service! And of course, a stunning view! Highly recommend to visit in Gandia if you love seafood!

We had an fantastic paella here. Staff were friendly and the setting is really nice. I get for general area it is expensive but it was nice for a one off visit and a decent meal. You pay for its locations and views but unlike other tourist spots this place backs it up with good food

Anastasia P — Google review
Beautiful location right on the breakwater with great views of the beach and ocean! Food was yummy & price was good! Not the cheapest meal, but what a location! Book in advance or get here early as it fills up quick!
Tim T — Google review
Wow! What an impressive place! Super friendly and attentive service, very kind and accommodating. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. We had the seafood paella and it was luxurious. The sangría was also spectacular. From every part of the restaurant you can see the Mediterranean, smell the sea air and hear the waves crashing, it is just magical. Thank you!
Rachel — Google review
We went here on a Thursday night for dinner and we were lucky there was a table available (thank you Juanjo) as they are so busy you must call to make a reservation, at least in July and August, as summer is very busy. Our waiter, Fede, was great, thank you Fede😉 The food was also very good, we weren't that hungry so we ordered one entrecotte and one of the Gourmet burgers...both delicious. Good quality meet and tasty. For desert we had a pumpkin cake, also quite good to finish the night. All in all great place to eat by the sea, good ambient and not THAT expensive either!! Thanks to all the team, we will repeat! Adrian and Elaine

ㅤㅤBARRACUDA

$$$$cheap
Restaurant
Nestled by the harbor, Barracuda is a must-visit spot for anyone seeking an authentic local dining experience. This bustling eatery is always alive with energy and offers honest Spanish cuisine at incredibly affordable prices. While you might encounter a bit of a wait, it’s all part of the laid-back vibe that makes this place special.
Great Seafood and Pleasant Atmosphere. Barracuda Restaurant offers a solid dining experience with excellent seafood options. The dishes were fresh, well-prepared, and nicely presented. The staff were polite and efficient, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable. It’s a good choice for anyone looking to enjoy quality seafood in a relaxed setting. I recommend it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Eugen B — Google review
Well, at first it looked okay. Ordered something to drink. This came whit some nice peanuts. All fine...Then the Iberian platter for 2 people at Eur. 20,-. So far so good. Although the platter could be improved somewhat instead of only Iberean ham, dried ham, dominant cheese and some tasteless crackers. Ordered some drinks again, never came. Then the check,.... never came. Time (> half an hour) passed and was a bit agitated and went to the counter to ask for the check. Gave a small tip nevertheless, but then the real disappointment came. The cashier added an extra without questioning. I was getting really agitated but thought; well, I have spent my precious time already and want to go and leave quickly and not have a bad day further, so I paid. But they have achieved three things: 1. I will never come here again. Looks like they have plenty customers and money poor's in automatically. 2. I sat down to write this negative review. 3. Will tell anyone who asks to not go there.
Marcel P — Google review
Great location at the harbour. When you want to eat where the locals eat, this is the place to be. There are always people and it's definitely buzzing. No fancy food but honest Spanish food for ridiculously low prices. Yes, sometimes one must wait but hey: tranquilo! The deep fried sea food is great and plenty and the tapas where fantastic. Give it a try and just go with the flow. Oh and the bottle Rioja for €10.- is also a must.
Michael K — Google review
The food is good. Not great, good. But the service is lacking. It takes forever to get the check and the waitresses are generally (as most of Spain) indifferent and make no effort at even cracking a smile. Badly paid, you say? If you're not up to the job, find something else. If you serve customers, swallow your bad manners and treat them with respect.
Lily A — Google review
Tasty food and good service. We took beer, different types of sandwiches and baracuda salad. Restaurant was full but we didn't have to wait long. It was hotel recommendation and it was definitely worth to visit.
Scandal A — Google review
Great place, except the ocasional roaches in the bathrooms its allright. Good customer service
Niki P — Google review
Love that place. Amazing food great location, stuff...oh yes, I have no enough words to say thank you to them. Been there many times in all seasons , always fresh and tasty food and great service. Definitely is one of the places where you have to stop . Been there few days ago and already start missing that place. Thank you again guys.
Лучезар _ — Google review
The atmosphere was incredible, right by the sea! The food is affordable and the servings are huge (except for the calamares, which we paid 8€ for but the plate wasn't honestly worth it) and the drinks were cheap and really, really good. As for the burgers, if you're getting the double burger, I'd recommend sharing it with someone because we've had difficulties finishing it 😂

Casa Julia

Mentioned on
3 lists
$$$$cheap
Rice restaurant
Nestled in the charming Venecia neighborhood, Casa Julia is a delightful eatery that embodies a relaxed atmosphere with its inviting covered terrace and homey vibe. Run by brothers Javier and Guillermo Pallares, this restaurant has become a local staple for traditional Valencian cuisine, particularly known for its exquisite rice dishes like fideuà. With three generations of culinary expertise passed down from their mother Bienvenida, Casa Julia prides itself on using high-quality local ingredients sourced directly from the Gandia fish market.
Had amazing Paella here. We ordered veggie Paella and Valencia Paella. The size was much bigger than what we had in some other places. Veggie one was a little too salty for my preference but overall they are both great. The staff are all nice too.
Yoko K — Google review
They have more than 10 types of paella 🥘 . And we have paella de Valenciana and Aroz negro and another dishes . There is no food left on the plate 🍽️ because they're so good. I would recommended.
Chanthey ច — Google review
I have been to Casa Julia many times before and always had excellent food. It's well known in the area despite being well off the beaten track in an area called Venecia near Grau de Gandia. I'll have to say from the outset that it's a bit more pricy than other restaurants but that is more than reflected in the quality- if you want authentic Valencian/Spanish cuisine, then this is the place to come. We had ensalada Valenciana and paella Valenciana. Sadly, the salad (lettuce in particular) was at least two maybe three days old , I know because when I cut a salad at home and don't eat it for two or three days, the lettuce stalks go orange. Unforgivable at this restaurant tbh. However I've booked to go back on Saturday!
Julian B — Google review
Great restaurant just a walk from the beach. The Paella was fantastic. Service excellent and a calm, tranquil atmosphere. Children welcome
Lesley G — Google review
Incredible paella so good. Amazing atmosphere with the restaurant having two parts one inside and one covered outside. The people are very kind and have strict times when people make reservations so that you can enjoy the paella relaxed!
Chris N — Google review
This is an unbelievable surprise. The best local restaurant I ever seen, an exceptional paella + a delicious fideua. The blueberry cheese cake is hard to describe, I don't know if I'll ever find a better one

Restaurante Volare is a fantastic place in Gandia that offers a wonderful dining experience, especially for those with gluten sensitivities. The restaurant is certified and trained to cater to customers with gluten-free requirements, offering an extensive menu with 80% of the dishes available without gluten. The staff at Restaurante Volare are friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere for families and children. The restaurant also provides a kids-friendly environment by showing cartoons on TV.
We come to Gandia regularly and we only just discovered this gem! The staff, are all fantastic, in particular Balia and Christian (we hope we got the names right!), they're all so friendly and attentive, and on top of that the gluten free menu is incredible. Full gluten free pizza menu, gluten free starters, pasta, desserts, and more! We had gluten free ham and blue cheese croquettes, chicken and pineapple pizza, cheesecake, and tiramisu and it was all so delicious. Great portions, homemade, and incredibly satisfying, we will definitely be back. Thanks so much for a fantastic experience.
Laura K — Google review
Gluten free tiramisu is out of this world. They only make 10 a day so don't miss out. Everything I've tried here has been fantastic. My husband and I come to Gandia for sunsation beach volleyball and eat here multiple times each trip. So Good and such a nice family atmosphere.
Diana G — Google review
It was always good but about 3 years ago it dropped a star or so for me. Different chef. Now the old chef is back and the quality is good. Efficiently run organisation. The old Del Pueblo was good but the new restaurant is a big disappointment. So unless you want to pay more for the best at La Trattoria this is the place.
Peter B — Google review
Wonderful experience! My son (3) is celiac. 80% of the menu is possible to order without gluten (and the restaurant is certified and trained). We ordered chicken nuggets with fries for the kids and chocolate mousse as well as pizza and pasta with gluten. All was very good. The service is so attentive and friendly, especially with kids (in general very kids-friendly place, they even put cartoons in the TV). I can highly recommend and we will be back when in Gandia!
Stefanie P — Google review

It's the most dog friendly restaurant in Gandia! The staff are lovely, and the gentleman serving our table made us laugh, helping us with our Spanish pronunciation. Nice beer and realistic prices add to the star rating. They have a doggie menu, too! Yes, there are 'posher' places to eat, but we are always made so welcome and so is Wolfie. Well done guys!

Restaurant Toni Galo is a true gem for those who appreciate exquisite author cuisine in a vibrant setting. Nestled in Playa de Gandia, this establishment boasts an enchanting decor inspired by the iconic Frida Kahlo, creating an inviting atmosphere that captivates every visitor. The attention to detail is evident not only in the stunning interior but also in the quality of service provided by the staff, who make you feel like part of their family.
The bacalao croquettes are salted cod wrapped with duchess potatoes. Stop, the service is incredible. They’re so good at what they do you feel like that your best family. Bravo, the owner (Wife) painted mostly all the pictures on the wall. Remember, the restaurant is in Valencia Spain. (Valencia orange) Above the bar is a mural of victorian people picking and gathering Valencia oranges. By the way, the bar is the waiter station. You can see the kitchen. The Fideuá was better than yesterday. And better than the day before ! In closing the coffee flan. There are no words ! ! I live on the East Coast of America, so I vacation on the Jersery shore. Valencia is the Jersey shore on steroids. After, dinner go to Tutto Fruto. Italian, ice cream shop just down in the street she’s a beautiful. atmosphere five stars Service five stars Food 10 stars The experience priceless.

Only just discovered this restaurant towards the end of my holiday. Just ordered a glass of wine which was served with delicious tapas. Came again a couple of days later with even better tapas served by a lovely waitress. If you are staying in the Grau it is well worth the walk to the far end of the playa.

Guests rave about the attentive and friendly staff, particularly Martin and Elena, who ensure every visitor feels welcomed and satisfied.
Very nice and relaxing place. Just a few meters away from the beach, nice music, but most importantly, delicious food and very friendly staff. Martin let us sit ,order drinks, and choose on the menu while we waited the kitchen to open. Very relaxing, and Martin made sure we were happy with the food afterwards. The food was delicious,I think we ordered a bit too much and could not make it to desserts;)

A lovely meal with my family, rice is to die for. Although, interrupted by a very rude table who were horrible towards the staff and caused a scene with other clients, the staff seemed to handle it well and continued doing their best. All of that aside, I will definitely be back next summer.
Pablo F — Google review
We’ve tried paella, which was absolutely disappointing plus they brought us double portion (which we found out as we paid). The waiter told it was misunderstanding. So that was a horrible paella for double price (I assume for 36euros paella at least should be tasty)
Kseniia M — Google review
The food was very good. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Edit: I have visited again with family and food was great. Rice was delicious. The blonde waitress was also the best! Food was very good and great value for money. La Pizzería is a modern yet long-established gem that has captured the hearts of many with its delightful offerings. This charming Italian eatery not only serves mouthwatering pizzas but also features an array of pasta, steaks, and other traditional Italian dishes. The inviting terrace provides a lovely spot to enjoy your meal, especially with views of the nearby beach. During my recent visit, I was greeted warmly by Christian and his attentive team, who made me feel right at home.
I recently had the pleasure of dining here, an authentic Italian restaurant. . The decor is elegant and comfortable, with traditional Italian accents that add a special charm. The menu is varied and offers a wide range of delicious Italian dishes. The true star of the evening was the risotto. I ordered the risotto, and I can confidently say it was the best risotto I’ve ever had. The rice was perfectly cooked, creamy, and well-balanced. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The service was quick and efficient, and their menu recommendations were excellent. The prices are fair, especially considering the exceptional quality of the food. The portions are generous and well-presented, offering great value for money. This is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning!

La Pizzería has become a firm favourite for good reason. Whether dining in or grabbing takeaway, each visit was a pleasure. During our most recent visit we were warmly welcomed and served by Christian, whose hospitality made us feel like old friends, and Gabriel’s attentive service added a personal touch that truly stood out. The team works seamlessly to create a wonderful, bustling atmosphere where the food never disappoints - authentic, flavourful, and consistently delicious. It’s no surprise the place is always busy - advanced booking is recommended but the takeaway option is just as satisfying for a cozy night in. 🍕
Andrey M — Google review
Not a bad place to dinner with friends or family. Nothing spectacular. The decoration is nice and service is not bad. When asked about the desserts the waiter told us that the only one homemade are the tiramisu and the mousse. I tried the first one and I can recommend it.

Close to the beach, nice view if you sit outside facing the beach - the opposite direction not so much. Service very friendly, food came fast, tasted good and the price was really good considering the proximity to the beach.

I wish I could give an extra star for the service. The team went above and beyond to help out. The pizza was delicious and lots of different options. Excellent Melanzane with mozzarella and wine menu was 👌

Our favorite spot in Gandia! We’ve been coming here for lunch for the past 3 years, and every time it’s the same exceptional experience. The Chicken Diavolo is absolutely delicious.

Airport
Valencia Airport is a charming hub for both domestic and European flights, making it an ideal starting point for your travels. This compact airport boasts efficient services that ensure a smooth journey from check-in to boarding. Families will appreciate the dedicated gate designed to ease the security process, with attentive staff ready to assist.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Valencia Airport exceeded my expectations! It’s a small but very efficient airport that made traveling easy and stress-free. From check-in to boarding, everything was well-organized and clearly signposted. Security moved quickly, and staff were polite and professional throughout. The terminal is clean, modern, and comfortable, with plenty of seating and a nice selection of shops, cafes, and duty-free stores — perfect for a quick snack or some last-minute shopping. Wi-Fi was fast and easy to connect, which was a big plus while waiting to board. Baggage claim was fast and hassle-free, and getting to and from the city center is super convenient with metro, bus, and taxi options right outside the terminal. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience — exactly what you want from an airport. Would definitely fly through Valencia Airport again!

An extremely efficient and well managed airport with helpful staff and great facilities. The check in was fast and passport control very well organised & speedy. Overall very relaxed atmosphere indeed.

Valencia Airport in Spain offers a smooth and efficient travel experience, making it a convenient gateway to the beautiful Mediterranean city of Valencia. Located just a short drive from the city center, the airport is well-connected by metro, bus, and taxi, ensuring easy access for both tourists and business travelers. The airport itself is compact but modern, which works in its favor—passenger movement is straightforward, and you don’t feel overwhelmed like in larger international hubs. Inside, the facilities are well-maintained and clean. Check-in and security processes are generally quick, with staff who are helpful and approachable. The signage is clear and available in multiple languages, which makes navigation easy for international travelers. Once past security, the airport offers a variety of shops, duty-free options, and dining outlets. While the selection isn’t as vast as larger airports, it covers essentials, from local snacks and coffee to international chains, allowing travelers to grab a meal or a last-minute gift before boarding. One of the highlights is the airport’s manageable size—walking distances between gates are short, which makes connections and boarding stress-free. Free Wi-Fi is available and reliable, a nice plus for those needing to work or stream while waiting. The seating areas are comfortable, though during peak hours, they can get crowded. Overall, Valencia Airport strikes a great balance between efficiency and comfort. It may not boast the largest variety of services, but its accessibility, organization, and smooth operations make it a pleasant starting or ending point for any trip to Valencia.

There are water fountains, poor wifi, convenient bridge to rental cars via 2d floor

During my recent trip to Valencia as part of a student study program, I traveled through Valencia Airport. Unfortunately, the experience was not very positive. The airport itself is quite small, which in itself is not a problem. However, the facilities appear outdated and are not well maintained. The cleanliness left much to be desired: the terminal felt dirty, the restrooms were in very poor condition, and there was no soap available. It gave the impression that cleaning and maintenance are not carried out regularly. In terms of services, the airport lacks modern conveniences such as self-check-in machines, which are now standard at most international airports. This makes the process less efficient and more time-consuming. The security check was particularly unpleasant. Staff members communicated only in Spanish and showed little patience or willingness to assist non-Spanish speakers, which created unnecessary stress. Clear communication in at least basic English should be expected at an international airport. Overall, the airport felt neglected and unwelcoming. While its small size could make it convenient and easy to navigate, the poor maintenance, lack of cleanliness, outdated facilities, and unprofessional behavior of staff significantly impacted the travel experience.

The parking is confusing. ↘️ When you arrive you have to go to another building if you’re looking for Uber or Cabify. It’s the second floor of the parking garage. ↗️ When you arrive at the departure part it’s insanely crowded even off peak season (like monday, mid/end-October). There will be traffic jams for your drop off, so be aware. 👮‍♂️going trough security is confusing as there’s no sign about what you may or may not leave inside your baggage. So here’s a tip: laptops should go separately in another tray, but they didn’t ask for the plastic bag for liquids. AGAIN: NO SIGN after you’re inside or nothing easy to spot on the outside. You have to use your divinatory power 🔮🤣 also if you speak any other language and ask in English, the police officer will look down at you and be unfriendly (though I mainly can understand Spanish but Valentian is another level that don’t yet master 💁). 🍔🌮🥪 Food wise, well, airport food, airport prices. 8,75€ for a plain bread with some cheese slices 🤡 🌱 Almost no vegetarian option, NO VEGAN 🤔 all in all: this is a small airport, the lines can’t go that far, I would just prefer not to imagine what mess this might be during summer holidays or Christmas.
