Warung Enak and Bungalows

Mentioned on
1 list
Western restaurant
Hotel
Indonesian restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Amed, Warung Enak and Bungalows is a delightful destination for food lovers and travelers alike. This charming eatery offers an enticing mix of Western and traditional Balinese cuisine, with standout dishes like their famous Balinese Pancakes, Wahoo Fish, and expertly grilled BBQ seafood. The restaurant's popularity is evident as it buzzes with patrons even during the quieter offseason.
Went there for a quick coffee and a dessert. The dragon fruit cheesecake (vegan) was amazing. And cappuccino with oat milk (they were out of coconut milk) was good too. Visit 2: good turmeric juice(Raw without honey) and vegan curry with extra tempeh no rice. Delicious. The pumpkin soup was exactly what I needed when I was sick! 🤒
Anurag ( — Google review
Their nasi campur special was really nice, though the individual portions were a little bit small. We appreciated the complimentary garlic bread and loved the friendly service. The pumpkin cheesecake (not a traditional cheesecake) was absolutely wonderful. We loved the deep, rich, spicy taste of the cake and the passion fruit drizzle was amazing.
Aidan — Google review
We had dinner here for more then 7 days. The food is lovely and the people are very kind. We had all kinds of food, Balinese but also the pizza and pasta are very good. And the desserts are great! They always serve table water and bruscetta for welcoming the guests. I highly recommend this warung.
Jeannette V — Google review
Warung Enak is a lovely restaurant, very cozy to sit at and friendly service. You get complimentary bruschettas and water. Very tasty meals, definitely recommend! We loved coming here a few times during our trip 😊
Lisa S — Google review
Last night, we stumbled upon Enak in Amed, all thanks to some French folks who raved about the food being “like at home.” We had to give it a try, and let me tell you, we were blown away! We ordered lasagna and vegan tomato pasta, and both were absolutely scrumptious. The flavours were spot-on! Though we wished they’d included a couple of extra lasagne pasta pieces in the dish, but no worries. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to dessert, even though the chocolate cake looked absolutely divine. I also had a breakfast - toast and eggs - with a delicious coffee ☕️ it felt like Italian 🫶🏼
Olivier S — Google review
Smack bang in the middle of town, easy access, parking around the corner and a place you know where the people are genuine. Ayu greeted us beautifully offering the menu and asking what we would like to drink and then eat. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and even asked the chef for a request to change the menu for us. They cook in butter and hand make their burger patties. 😊 The decor is fresh, light and feels relaxing. Wayan, the owner has done an amazing job with her renovations. It was lovely that she gave us the time for a chat and tell us about her ethos for her restaurant and family, who most of them work there. We had such a lovely experience throughout dinner, we took friends the next day for breakfast and we were equally as happy.
Ann-Marie C — Google review
Restaurant was nice and service very good. Food is 5* and I'll definitely come back to try other dishes. Water and bruschetta for starters were offered - thank you I can highly recommend the restaurant which is good accessible at the main road of Amed
Mischa M — Google review
We had a lovely evening here with very good food. Both the burger and the freshly grilled seafood skewers were generously sized. The lava cake to finish the meal is highly recommended.

Asian restaurant
Galanga Garden Restaurant is a charming dining spot in Amed, offering a fusion of Indonesian and Western cuisine. The menu features a variety of scrumptious options including salads, wraps, and pasta dishes with an emphasis on vegan and vegetarian choices. Guests can enjoy their meals throughout the day from breakfast to dinner. The restaurant's delightful garden setting adds to the local charm and atmosphere. Diners have praised the flavorful Indonesian dishes served on banana leaves, as well as the friendly service provided by the staff.
Unexpected beauty of this place combined with delicious meals and wonderful tastes. Galanga is kind of a restaurant you must try! Next to the road but absolutely private. You can choose classic tables or garden - which I recommend! Enjoy your best food in Bali with greetings from wonderful local staff. Reservation recommended.
Michal D — Google review
Alright food - depends what food you get. Great service with a very nice and kind woman. Atmosphere is beautiful with a cat if you’re lucky. There are ants on the floor and they sometimes climb up to the table. I’d recommend to book a table since none were available on the night before. Overall 3 star.
Michael B — Google review
GEM of Amed Beauty atmosphere, definitely get a spot in the garden unless you need to be in a chair. Recommend reservations if coming during dinner time. Food is top notch and good value. Arak is home made and delicious. Staff are very attentive, helpful & speak great English. Love love love coming here.
Tanner R — Google review
Wonderful dinner in Amed! The ambience was perfect, the food — a delightful Indonesian-French fusion — was outstanding, and the service warm and attentive. Highly recommended! (Please note to book via WhatsApp)
Emanuela S — Google review
The value for money was quite good here. I ordered some jackfruit nuggets, an asian salad with tofu and a tempe burger. All of them I ordered to get picked up by the staff of the hotel I was staying in. Actually I liked the taste of everything, but I especially was surprised of the jackfruit nuggets, which I never had before. They came with a tomato sauce and were very good! Perhaps the burger could have been be a bit more intense in taste.
Thomas D — Google review
Reservation maybe needed in busy times - and worth making one! Galanga food and service was so good ❤️ standout was the Fish green mango Pepes - incredible flavour. The cocktails were really good too.
India R — Google review
A must do! Wonderful experience mixing local flavours and the French touch. The sits in the garden are so charming as well. The service, perfect. Better to make a reservation in advance if you want to ensure having a table (especially in the high season)
Simon — Google review
This place was excellent. They serve small welcome drinks & a homemade snack upon seating. It's an adorable little garden setting with friendly staff. From the soup to the pasta to the dessert, everything was homemade with lots of love, and you can certainly taste it. It's also very fairly priced with good portion sizes.

Warung Celagi

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$cheap
Seafood restaurant
Balinese restaurant
The seafood restaurant Warung Celagi is located near the Pantai Amed beach so guests can enjoy the beautiful view. The restaurant offers traditional Indonesian food as well as Western dishes from Bali. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent. One improvement would be to improve the customer service, in order to make guests feel more welcome. Overall, this seafood restaurant is a great choice for anyone visiting Bali!
I had the grilled barracuda and my son ate a chicken burger. We also had lumpia to start and some mango juice to wash it all down. Everything was tasty and fresh and served with a smile. My son enjoyed stacking rocks while we waited and I enjoyed reading my book. I just wish the ants and flies would have left us alone while eating. Maybe a fan would help?
Amanda I — Google review
Only popped in for a couple of cold beers. Service was ok, no stubbie holders. My beer was flat, so I'm guessing it has been frozen at some point. 40k IDR per beer is very expensive for Amed unless it's in a prime location like Sunset point. It's still a nice beach front Warung but too expensive. We won't be back.
Mr S — Google review
Geat food, I had super curry with fish, vegetaboes and rise. So good. And the fresh fruit juices are si nice with a lot of fruit. The Bali local dishes are also great, we had local fish. Great that like other places they keep on going mostly Bali and Indonesian food and not trying to imitate western.
Eva C — Google review
Easily the best fish we've had in Bali! The curry was also very tasty, and we loved the lak lak. Even the juices (one watermelon, one banana mango) were delicious, way better than what we had previously.
Gabriel - — Google review
Seafront seats in a quiet location. The grilled fish was delicious. We feel that the amount of vegetables provided as the side dish could be a bit bigger.
Carole M — Google review
We found this fabulous warung on the beach our first day and we've been back every day since! They have authentic Balinese dishes which are delicious, would recommend the grilled prawns, the curries, the fish in banana leaf... All yummy. Met Ketut today, one of the chefs and she was so friendly.
Pebs F — Google review
Actually we just choose random place and finally we are so happy to have dinner in the great place and tasty food. The staff are really nice. Best time on sunset time, you can enjoy the food even able to swim/snorkeling in front of the restaurant.
Veronica — Google review
Yes a great place for a meal right by the beach 🏖️ Beer was cold , great on a very hot day Service good & staff friendly but didn’t like staff smoking close by while they were cleaning Food was beautiful as I’ve tasted food all over Bali I think their lumpia are the best or very close Prices reasonable Great place anytime for a meal

Guests can savor the Gusto Special Hungarian Gulash or explore daily specials for unique options. The establishment provides free delivery services as well.
We came here for dinner and ordered the beef steaks. They were honestly cooked to perfection, super tender and just really delicious!! I couldn’t fault it - bang on with the flavours and cookery - one of the best steaks I’ve had. Excellent value for money and a gorgeous dinner spot. Our favourite dinner in Amed, for sure! Also, loved hot ginger drink! 😍 we wish we had stopped by for a sunset dinner, because the views would’ve been gorgeous. Not the best road getting here, quite a few potholes, so drive carefully particularly in the dark.
Corrina A — Google review
From this place I ordered some food to get picked up from the staff of the accommodation I stayed in. I had a delicious veggie pizza, some mushroom ravioli and a pumpkin salad. All of them were really good in taste! But I would have wished, that the pasta portion would have been more generous, cause it contained a few raviolis only. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the food!
Thomas D — Google review
Went there for dinner and i was blown away with the food! I ordered shrimp ravioli, beef gnocchi, seafood pizza, and beef lasagna and ALL of it was scrumptious! Food was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. This restaurant is not that big so i suggest to make a reservation upon coming there. Definitely will come back when I visit Amed next time. Keep it up!
Novieta S — Google review
Very nice . Very cozy place , food is good, prices are affordable. Pasta was a bit dry, we felt like lack of sauce, but good anyway. Tuna steak was delicious- with mashed potatoes and fried onion 🤩. Tom Yum soup was good although not very classic Tom Yum indeed. All in all , we loved the food and place ❤️
Olessya B — Google review
Favourite place in Amed! We literally ate here every night of our stay and everything we tried was divine. Highly recommend the bruschetta's. Would give this place 10 stars if I could :) We even got a present when we left on our last night, which totally melted our hearts. Thank you so so much to the lovely staff and we hope to see you again some time!!!
Renske B — Google review
The place is super nice with an amazing ocean view and fresh breeze. Staff are really friendly, and the food tastes great. Totally recommend eating here! And they do delivery as well ☺️
Intan C — Google review
It was absolutely fantastic! The food was out of this world — especially the pizza, which completely won me over. I can’t remember the last time I had such a perfect crust… My partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant one afternoon, and from that moment on we came back every single day until the end of our trip — even our farewell dinner on the last day was here. The staff are friendly, and as a sweet goodbye we were even treated to a brownie. I'm back in Europe now and honestly wish I could have a slice of that pizza right here, right now. Highly recommended!
Ki J — Google review
The food was wonderful. Pizza was great and the Banoffee pie was incredible. Service was also good.

Warung Sabar

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$cheap
Balinese restaurant
Seafood restaurant
Warung Sabar is a cozy and welcoming restaurant in Lipah that offers delicious food with a diverse menu. The vegetarian tempeh burger is surprisingly juicy and flavorful, even for meat eaters. The cap cay and grilled squid are also highly recommended. The service is fast and efficient, and the inclusive tax prices are a plus. However, the veranda is currently under renovation, causing some noise disturbance. The atmosphere is very welcoming, making guests feel like part of the family.
We have been here three times in three days - trying as much of the menu as possible. Everything is amazing! The fish cakes are delicious, our son loved the onion rings, our daughter the chicken satay. Everything was beautiful. Highly recommend.
Carl R — Google review
Delicious and flavorful food, served in modest but satisfying portions. The place is a bit noisy due to traffic from the nearby road, but the warm and friendly staff more than makes up for it. It’s a charming little family-run restaurant, and we loved that the kids were involved and even helped bring the menus. Cozy vibe, lovely mountain view, and overall a really enjoyable dinner.
Alexander P — Google review
This was our best food experience in Amed, and one of our favorites in Bali even. We can especially recommend the grilled squid with garlic, calamari and the nasi campur. We also booked a snorkeling tour with Made as our guide and had a really nice time. He has a lot of local knowledge and knows how the tides go and differ from the norm. We saw three sea turtles and loads of fish!
Angelica S — Google review
Wow, what an incredible meal. A beautiful family owned business. The food is genuinely amazing, I got the pepes ikan and I can safely say it was the best seafood dish I have ever had. Beautifully cooked & seasoned, great portion size, amazing value. The family staff are all so friendly and speak amazing English too. My girlfriend has an egg and nut allergy and they were super accommodating. We will definitely be back as much as we can while we stay in Amed.
Harry T — Google review
One of the best food in Bali so far. Absolutely tasty ribs and good portion of meat and dessert. Amazing and friendly staff & service. Recommend 💯
Nikola N — Google review
What a nice meals. The portions are right, otherwise just order a 2nd if you are real hungry. Nice, friendly, family service. Tip; Order the sateh as extra Tip; if you are with a group of 8 or more you can consider a 1 day before order of smoked/bbq baby pig you enjoy with whole group
Patricia O — Google review
A truly fantastic lunch experience at Warung Sabar! This was easily the best meal we've had during our time in Amed. My Babi Kecap was a standout—it was so much more than just a sweet soy sauce flavor. The spices were complex and delicious, and the pork was incredibly juicy and tender. My husband's Nasi Campur was also excellent, with a great variety of flavors. Both dishes were generously portioned. We also loved our ice-cold beers and the fresh pawpaw juice. A definite must-visit for anyone in the area!
Andina R — Google review
Lovely sweet family owned business - the father and son were really welcoming and friendly. Their English is great too. They were fantastic about my food allergies and very accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and healthy. We will be back this week I am sure! Thank you!!

Great service, good food and a stunning view! We had steaks and some cocktails for lunch. Would recommend stopping by.
Hazel B — Google review
Sails Restaurant in Amed is truly a gem on the coast. The setting is stunning, with sweeping ocean views that make every meal feel special, especially at sunset. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between relaxed and refined, making it just as ideal for a romantic dinner as it is for a casual gathering with friends. The menu highlights fresh, well-prepared dishes that showcase both local flavors and international influences. Seafood is a clear standout—cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Portions are generous without compromising on quality, and the flavors are consistently balanced and memorable.Equally noteworthy is the service. The staff are warm, attentive, and create a welcoming environment where guests feel genuinely taken care of. Their attention to detail adds to the overall experience without ever being intrusive. With its breathtaking location, excellent food, and outstanding hospitality, Sails Restaurant is easily one of the best dining experiences in Amed. A must-visit for anyone traveling along Bali’s northeast coast.
Ronald W — Google review
Great location looking out to the sea, sufficient parking space, and amazing food! Staffs kept checking in to make sure we’re ok, and they are very patient when I kept asking for stuff like ice, spring onions and extra sour cream. Beef tenderloin was made to perfection, salmon was fresh. The chef came out to chat with us too. Amazing dinner experience overall. 😊😊
Janelle S — Google review
Beautiful spot above the beach for any time of the day. We had dinner and the fish was fresh and flavoursome. Staff were amazing and I would highly recommend going for a meal.
Alistair P — Google review
A beautiful restaurant perched on the hill with stunning ocean views. They even arranged a free driver from our villa, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was delicious, the staff were lovely, and the whole experience felt a bit more special and refined than other spots in town. It felt surprisingly quiet for how lovely it is — definitely an underrated gem. We enjoyed it so much we went back for our final night in Amed — and would definitely return again.
Anna R — Google review
Had a lovely evening here. Cocktails were fantastic and service was great. A lovely view but you don't get to see the sunset. Meals were quite large and tasty.
Megan H — Google review
We stopped in for dinner on our last night in Amed. Stunning ocean views and really lovely staff. My husband had chicken satay entree, fish in banana leaf main, and crepe dessert. I had the tomato bruschetta entree, black pepper beef main, and banana boat dessert (with some cocktails during the night too). It was all beautiful! Really tasty. Take the time to stop by, it's a great little place!
Amy T — Google review
Our last night in Amed and we decided to have a meal at Sails restaurant. They offer free pick up and free ride home. Good restaurant with beautiful views. Got our wine and our food was yummy. I look forward to going back to this restaurant next time we come up in Amed.

Warung Pantai

$$$$cheap
Seafood restaurant
At the seafood restaurant Warung Pantai, a delicious meal of Tuna BBQ and Fried Rice is offered. Alongside this, refreshing drinks such as arak bali, lemon tea, and ice tea are available. The Tuna BBQ set includes rice, tuna, sambal, and a side dish. Despite an initial hint of gasoline flavor (commonly used for igniting hibachi/charcoal), once the fish is combined with the sambal, this taste disappears entirely.
Nasi Campur special (pictured) was very fresh and tasty! The Fish Tum and vegterin curry are also delicious options. Overall we liked the friendly staff, good food, good vibes, and lovely spot!
Abigail — Google review
Great service, staff is accommodated and friendly, food taste is quite good, nice ambience with a sea view, price is reasonable compared to other restaurants in neighbourhood, so it’s the most relevant choice in Amed Beach
Ovi T — Google review
Beautiful view with friendly service! Food didn't take long to come out and the chicken curry and Mahi Mahi curry were delicious!
Clancy E — Google review
Really great. Hidden treasure if you ask me. Sea view, good food, great drinks, good vibes. We ate and drank a lot. Food is 50k per dish, drink 20-25k.
Robert-Jan A — Google review
Super delicious authentic cuisine. Must get the mie goreng and bbq grilled local fish!!
Laura J — Google review
Amazing seafood! We ordered a selection of grilled seafood - so good! Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Indonesian cuisine and atmosphere. Located right on the ocean front. Simple and good-we have eaten here several times already.
Grace R — Google review
Mahi mahi curry was very delicious, but everything else was so so, spaghetti carbonara had no flavor whatsoever, fried chicken breading is really hard that hurts to eat and not tasty at all. Milk shakes was not good either. Staff is nice but we waited quite a while even though we was the only people in the restaurant. Will be back only for same curry 🤣
Olga — Google review
I ordered Tuna BBQ & Fried Rice for meals. For drinks i had arak bali, lemon tea, and ice tea. For the Tuna BBQ 45k you already got the whole set. Rice, tuna, sambal, and side dish. At first I slightly tasted something like gasoline (usually used for triggering the hibachi/charcoal for bbq). But then after combining the fish and the sambal, you will not taste that anymore. All you can taste was sambal and fish. For the fish it was super fresh, still juicy, perfectly cooked. Well for the fried rice is just like usual fried rice in Indonesia but cooked with vegetables. Overall, compared to the price and its quality, it's a standard here. In the other hand, you might find another restaurant cheaper than this

Warung Ole

$$$$cheap
Restaurant
During my recent travels, I stumbled upon Warung Ole while wandering back to my accommodation, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. This charming family-run restaurant offers an authentic Indonesian menu that is both delicious and budget-friendly. The meals are prepared fresh after you place your order, which means there might be a bit of a wait—definitely worth it! With its warm atmosphere reminiscent of home cooking, it's an experience not to miss when in Amed.
Good place to try local cuisine at good prices! We were again to try the traditional chicken betutu (you have to make a reservation at least one day before) and it was amazing. If you are some days in amed, you should try it!! Amazing! Hope I will have the recipe 🤤💗 Besides, they invite to the dessert in both occasions.
Ines S — Google review
I highly recommend to have a cooking class at warung Ole. We enjoyed really much the class and the food was amazing. We learned how to cook 5 different dishes. We will definitely cook them again back home Thank you again
M D — Google review
We took the cooking class on offer here for 400k per person. We got to choose a few dishes from the menu to learn to cook and she added a couple others that she wanted to show us. We had a great time and learned a lot about the flavours and preparation. We had SO much food from the class! The staff were all helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend doing this cooking class!
Katherine B — Google review
Just stopped by random on our walk back to stay and it was a wonderful experience. Fantastic Indonesian food menu at an affordable price. Everything is cooked fresh after the order is placed and that's why so many reviews complaining about the wait time. Come prepared to wait with a drink while your food is prepared from scratch. It's a family run restaurant and gives you a homely feel about the cuisine. Definitely a must try while at Amed. Loved the food and service. We wish we had a bit more time to chat to our favourite auntie 😉
Vijay K — Google review
We decided to try this place for dinner as we walked by because the sign said "real home cooking with love." The food was great, and I signed up for a cooking class the next day. The class with Iluh will definitely be the highlight of my trip to Bali. She is so friendly and loves what she does. She made sure to explain everything, let me taste as we cooked, and made sure I wrote down everything so I can make these dishes at home someday. Overall, a great experience and great food!
Alicia G — Google review
Best Balinese food I had! Omg you can feel it is authentic and very good quality! I had the fish tempura and the satay Tempe was delicious! Very welcoming and warm people definitely food made with love. Will come back and recommend it to everyone ! Very honest price as well thank you so much 🙏
Agathe L — Google review
We have grilled fish in hot ginger sauce Rp40k and roasted chicken in tomato honey sauce Rp40k. Both dishes are done well but the fish was our favourite. We have a large bottle of Bintang Rp45k. Great service and good value for money. They have vegetarian options and only accept cash. This is a non air-conditioned place but the fan is sufficient to create a gentle breeze.

Recommending this place SO MUCH! Tried different dishes and can it's the best Warung food I have had in Bali. Lovely owners too!

A great little warung with tasty fresh food. The fish curry and the mie goreng were so delicious. The owners are so nice and friendly also. And it’s cheap! What more could you want
Lydia — Google review
Small local spot with just a few tables and a visible kitchen in the middle. I ordered what they suggested—the Ikan Kelapa (fish, I think barracuda, in a yellow ginger-style sauce)—and it was delicious. The portion was on the smaller side, but enough for me. 100% recommended.
Juan C — Google review
Wow, love this place, we keep coming back and ordering the same meals 🤣. Chicken is so tender, vegetables really tasty, sauces - yum!!!! Little gem this one 👍🏼
ShMomo B — Google review
We ordered Balinese Curry Chicken (left side), Pork (right down) and Nasi Goreng (right up), all with spicy, taste very good and full of Balinese flavor 👍 xiaobao proofed.
Eugenia L — Google review
We stayed 9 days in Amed and I think we went there almost 5 nights! This is the most authentic Warung with from far the best food ever!!
Marie A — Google review
Very nice food, we had nasi campur and a fish plate, everything was very good and homemade ! The watermelon juice was also very nice, fresh and tasty. We really recommend this place if you want to try local food !

Very friendly and good value. I couldn't decide what to order so went for nasi campur. The rendang was delicious - I could have eaten more of that, but couldn't see beef rendang on the menu 🤔. The chicken and vegetable parts of the nasi campur was quite cold; don't know whether they're meant to be? But service was very friendly and they were happy to accommodate a single diner.

This delightful eatery specializes in Asian and Indonesian cuisine, offering a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The warm ambiance and friendly service create an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home from the moment you step inside. Could not fault this little warung. Great food, service, ambience, and price. 10/10
Barbara L — Google review
Food was ok, my fish was very plain and tough, did not flake, and the rice was dry. But the Calamari was great. Was very busy so had a nice vibe with a sun set view. Service was very welcoming and for the price, good value.
Ben R — Google review
Really good food in a beautiful warung. Staff is friendly and prices are good. To bad, that it was not so crowded when we had diner. Hope it had to do with our early arrival, as they certainly deserve to be much busier. We woul for sure come back.
Guido M — Google review
We pass this restaurant everyday, usually more than once coming and going from Meditasi, where we stay. It looks inviting with the bamboo interior, thatched roofing and subtle lighting, with glimpses of the water. I read many positive reviews and thought that we need to drop-in for dinner tonight. On the first page of the menu, it tells us that they specialise in locally caught seafood, ✅, their recipes are passed down through generations, ✅, they make their own chicken stock and they do not include MSG, ✅, their salads are washed in filtered water, ✅, they reduce plastic waste by refilling water bottles, ✅ and they cook with love ✅. If that’s not enough, there aren’t any additional charges, a tip if you want, to be shared amongst their staff. ✅✅ I just realised that I didn’t take a photo of our meals. Too eager to try them. I had beef rendang and my husband had a traditional nasi goreng. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G The prices are reasonable, especially for the nasi goreng, it was a big meal. The staff are happy to have a chat with you, without being in your face. We are learning new Indonesian words so we asked for some help with that. Terimakasih 🙏 That’s my take on the place and invite you to do the same and pop-in for lunch or dinner.

Best nasi goreng in Amed. The dishes are big enough for sharing. Clean, very good prices, nice people and atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

We stayed right near this Warung at Only You Villas and ate here a handful of times. Lovely friendly service, very accomodating, very well priced and food is lovely and clean. Really nice view from the balcony at sunset also. Highly recommend.

Have just had a wonderful Balenese cooking experience with Sudilu who runs this restaurant . We went to the market bought ingredients and went back and cooked. If you love food and learnng how to use fresh spices go and take the opportunity. A fantastic lady and a real passion for food . The kitchen was beautifully clean.. so go and try her food

Came here for supper and I left amazed. First off, the service is really great. The girls are very friendly and welcoming. I was really hungry so I had 2 meals. They have a really big menu too. I had the nasi goreng and fish & chips! Both were just absolutely delicious AND the portions are huge! I was surprised since the portions are usually small for me in Bali. Definitely coming back here when I come back to Amed. Highly recommend!

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport

International airport
Airport
I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International, is the main gateway to Bali. Situated in the southern part of the island, it hosts numerous international and domestic flights daily. The airport is conveniently located near various accommodations such as Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua and Maya Sanur Resort & Spa, both offering seamless transfers from the airport.
Bali Airport (Ngurah Rai International Airport) is well-maintained and offers a pleasant experience for travelers. There are plenty of good eateries and shopping options throughout the terminal. A nice touch is the availability of foot massage services inside the airport, which can be a great way to relax before or after a flight. The washrooms are generally clean and thoughtfully decorated with fresh flowers, adding a refreshing, local touch. Additionally, the Klook or Grab pickup point features an air-conditioned seating lounge, which is very convenient, especially when waiting for your ride. Flights get rescheduled/delayed quite often so check and confirm before you reach airport. Overall, the airport provides a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for both arrivals and departures.

A great airport experience! Ngurah Rai International Airport is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and helpful, from immigration to security. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and souvenir stores to enjoy while waiting for your flight. The traditional Balinese design elements throughout the terminal add a unique cultural touch. Everything ran smoothly, and I was impressed by the efficiency and atmosphere. Highly recommended for travelers coming to or leaving Bali!

I like the arrival terminal more than the departure one. The arrival is way more beautiful, you can find dozens of food stalls and affordable minimarket. While in the departure, things are so expensive and only limited food stalls are available. However the staff in both terminal are nice and friendly.

🌍 Good international airport overall especially great for departures. The departure process is smooth and well-organized, with a clean and modern terminal. ✈️ Arrivals are decent, but be prepared for long lines at visa on arrival, immigration, and customs. It can easily take 2 to 3 hours just to get through everything, especially during peak times. 💰 Currency exchange rates at the airport are very high, so it’s better to exchange only a small amount here and look for better rates in the city. 💧One important note: You are not allowed to bring even sealed water bottles past security. You’ll need to buy water after the security check, so keep that in mind –l water is treated like a precious commodity inside the airport. Overall, a good airport with modern facilities, but prepare for a slow arrival process and some inconveniences related to costs and waiting times.

Pretty cool airport—modern and clean with lots of motorbikes and taxis available right outside. When I arrived it wasn’t busy at all, which made it easy to get through. There are also plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. One tip: I got my visa through the computer kiosk before baggage claim, but then I still waited in the long line not realizing I could bypass it. The long lines are really for people getting their visa in person and maybe paying cash. If you fill out the arrival card online ahead of time and use the kiosk, you can skip that line completely. It’s an easy process and much faster.

Upon arrival, everything was surprisingly seamless and efficient. The process flowed smoothly from immigration to baggage claim, and I was out of the airport within about 30 minutes of landing, which was impressive. One unique touch I really appreciated was at baggage claim — there was someone standing with a pillow to catch luggage as it came off the belt to prevent bags from slamming or getting damaged. A small detail, but one that stood out and felt thoughtful. When exiting baggage claim, you’re immediately greeted by beautiful greenery, which makes for a warm and inviting first impression of Bali. It felt like a gentle welcome into the island’s nature-filled aesthetic. I stayed at the Novotel Airport Hotel, and while the location is incredibly convenient, navigating to it was not. There are no clear signs that say “Novotel”, so I ended up confused, wandering through a parking garage and even passing construction areas. It felt awkward and far more chaotic than it should have been. Only the next day did I discover there is a direct and simple path that connects the airport to the hotel internally — I just hadn’t been guided the right way. Better signage or staff direction would make a huge difference for first-time guests. The departure experience was less smooth. It was difficult to get assistance and felt confusing at times. The airport app and staff both informed me that my flight was delayed, but it turned out not to be delayed, which created unnecessary stress. There was also a moment at check-in where they tried to have me sign a waiver for damage to my luggage — damage that had actually occurred on my arrival. I declined to sign, but it still made the process uncomfortable and unclear. Bali’s airport has charm, thoughtful touches, and efficiency on arrival — but navigation and communication could be better, especially for hotel access and departure procedures. Still, between the warm welcome, friendly first impressions, and airport amenities, I’d travel through here again — just a little more prepared next time.

The international departure area of Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport is spacious, clean, and fairly well-organised. While there are only two main lounges on the 2nd floor, the terminal makes up for it with plenty of shops and dining options—especially on the first floor, where you’ll find a wide variety of local and international brands. Everything on the departure side feels smooth and pleasant, with clear signage and helpful staff. However, the arrival experience can be quite hectic. Baggage claim tends to be slow, and the crowds at immigration can feel overwhelming during peak hours. Still, once you’re past that, the departure experience is relatively relaxed and easy to navigate. If they can fix the hectic chaos at the arrival side, then it would be perfect

Lombok International Airport

International airport
Lombok International Airport (LOP) serves as the gateway to a diverse range of attractions. The west coast, north of Sengigi and the serene islands near Bangko Bangko, offer surfing opportunities for both beginners and experienced surfers. The south coast is characterized by cliffs, rocky terrain, and deep bays that provide flexibility in swell size. While the three Gili Islands are popular destinations, the main island of Lombok and the South Gili Islands have much to offer adventurous divers.
Lombok 🇮🇩 International Airport 🛃🛅🛄🛂 is either recently renovated or newly built. It’s impressive because the design uses colour, space and light smartly. 😎 Being new, it has a high ceiling and the ceiling allows ample ambient 🌅lights into the building. The walls are also in white bright colour tones and this gives it a Big Spacious feel, very welcoming. 😊 (See my pictures 📸 and video 🎥) The airport ✈️ reallocated the pick up points to be much further back. This is a brilliant 💡 design consideration. Instead of pick-up right at the front door and you have hundreds of people 🧑‍🧑‍🧒🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🧑‍🧒‍🧒crowding around and holding up name boards, it gives the opportunity for the passengers to walk 🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️out to a more spacious area to find their pick drivers 🚙🚗🚕. On departure, there are lots of restaurants to eat 🍔🍜🥘from including a Starbucks café ☕️. You have Indonesia Food, Western, Sandwich…etc and some shopping 🛍️ areas in the middle. The domestic flights 🛩️ are separated from the international flight 🛫area and both have ample space to wait, charge your mobile devices 🔋🪫and eat 🍴🍽️comfortably. I enjoy coming to this airport. So if you are departing, do come early and just hang around. If you are lucky like me, you might even catch a live performance! 😜

1 hour to get luggage and they opened it forcefully instead of using TSA approved lock on my samsonite. Damaged zipper and damaged wheels. I know my bag was opened because it was arranged differently when opened at hotel. Never keep valuables in your suitcase. Update: turns out security dropped items from my suitcase, did not admit or report and tried to cover it up.

Lombok International Airport is very clean and relatively small, with fast service—perhaps because there isn’t much traffic. However, I was quite disappointed with the accessibility features. The escalator and elevator are unusable if you arrive from the domestic terminal, so passengers must use the stairs to reach the baggage claim area. This can be very inconvenient for people with disabilities or those traveling with heavy luggage.

I had a deeply unpleasant and distressing experience with an immigration officer at Gate 6, Counter 5 on 27 July 2025, around 5:30 PM, during the processing for Flight QZ 463 to Kuala Lumpur. While lining up for immigration, I noticed travelers in front of me handing their passports together. Thinking it was allowed, I called my sister—who was behind me—to hand our passports together. However, the officer became angry and shouted at me, saying passport must be handed one by one. I immediately apologized, that I misunderstood the process (this was my 1st time travelling abroad). I thought the issue was settled—but it escalated further. When it was my sister’s turn, the officer HELD HER PASSPORT and instructed her to step aside WITHOUT GIVING ANY REASON. He also shouted at me and my friends, ordering us to not wait for my sister and to proceed to the waiting area. When we asked another officer why her passport was being held, we were bluntly told to "ikut perintah" (“follow orders”), with no explanation. I told the others to go ahead, but I stayed behind because I was worried for my sister. Eventually, after all the other travellers had been processed, (took nearly 20 minutes. Our boarding time was 5.40pm) the officer called and returned her passport and scolded her, saying not to behave like that again and to “be respectful.” This entire situation was extremely upsetting. The officer’s behavior was not only unprofessional and inappropriate—it was an abuse of authority. His actions created a hostile and intimidating environment and left us feeling humiliated and traumatized. This experience has completely discouraged us from ever visiting Indonesia again. I will not be recommending Lombok to any of my friends. I strongly urge the relevant authorities to investigate this matter and ensure no other travelers are subjected to such treatment.

Small cozy Airport! From here you can go Kuala-Lumpur and Singapore too.

Spacious, clean, not crowded. Cleared international customs in 5minutes. Lots of eateries (even Starbucks) and shops for you to do final shopping. Make sure you eat before going to the international gates as they only have like a 7-eleven once you are at the international gates area. Toilets are clean. This airport beats Bali, Phuket, BKK. There’s even a virtual desk in case you need assistance. There’s free wifi provided.
