A great experience! We had a nice time on the trolley ride to the pumpkin patch. It was interesting to learn about the trolley we were on and get to experience riding in an antique trolley car. The museum itself has an amazing array of antique trolley cars to explore. I am obsessed with the model train building. They worked very hard on it and I could have easily spent hours in there. Overall the museum is a great experience, and a necessity to preserving the history of trolleys. I will definitely go back to experience it again!

We were visiting from out of town and my 9 year old son who is a train enthusiast heard about this place from a local, so we decided to give it a go. The history here that you can touch and learn about is amazing. We rode the trolley to the park and back and them explored the trolley sheds. They have some very unique pieces at this location. Afterward we went in and toured the museum and gift shop. They also had a very nice large model railroad in one of the other buildings. All in all we spent about 2hrs here and could easily have spent more. There is an entrance fee, but you get to do everything off the one ticket. Parking was pretty easy when we were there, but they do have overflow lots so they may get much busier during certain days/times. Worth the visit if you are interested in the history of the local area or are just into trains and trolleys!
Sam M — Google review
Excellent museum, rideable trains are super fun. Being able to stand on the observation deck of the machine shop was delightful. I loved seeing the progress of the restoration projects. The miniature train display is a work of art, and still in progress. I was pleasantly surprised with the collection of busses available for exploration as well. I look forward to seeing the plans for that exhibit. The staff are knowledgeable, funny, and kind. I sincerely hope the museum continues expanding, it's a historical hidden gem of the northeast.
Kelly H — Google review
Quite the place! Had a wonderful time on two refurbished train cars that were over 100 years old. We enjoyed two 40 min rides around the property and into the woods. The conductors on board talk a little bit of the history of the cars in about different historic places you can see at the museum. There is one building where they physically work on and refurb the cars, and there’s other building where they just store old train cars. Majority of the cars that are in the storage shed areas you can walk in and get a feel for them, there was some that were also double-decker buses! Old and rustic. There’s other junkyards that have old school cata buses, along with old T lines, ex. Red and Blue line. Also go and check out the model railway trains building that’s across the parking lot from the main museum entrance. It’s all volunteer service, folks will bringing their trains in and run them around all the tracks. Quite a fun place if you like really old train models, and even take a ride on some of the oldest railway cars! It’s amazing how they remodel and keep them in good shape, and they even run off of just electric! FYI for the train rides, you need to purchase tickets for the ride, but one ticket is good for as many train rides as you want. The train rides are 40 minutes long, And every train ride goes off every 45 minutes. Come and enjoy a few hours at this cute little train museum. A fun family activity. Enjoy all the photos and videos I took and posted here!
Mike P — Google review
Super cute museum, pretty small. The train ticket is $15 per head for a half an hour drive. The train is 120 years old! The gift shop is has some cute items as well. We got to ride the pump car as well!! I was looking forward to rail biking but they have this closed it.

Wonderful jewel of a place. I've been taking groups here for 17 years, the experience is always pleasant. Everyone is helpful, kind, knowledgeable and professional. It's a chance to go back in time. The museum is well maintained with plenty to do and discover. Going on the trolley ride never gets old. Fun for all ages and the museum gift shop and new diorama exhibit are a delight as well. Featured are the residents of the Wardwell in Saco. We were there today and had a great visit.
Amber J — Google review
Nice place for the family to go to,a lot of history about the old trolley systems in Boston and in New Hampshire. Also, an HO model Railroad club has a huge model. Railroad layout replicating the white mountains in North Conway down to the sea coast.
Laurice L — Google review
My boyfriend and I had a lovely time here! The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We took the trolley ride and perused their trolley collection.

The church was built using stones washed onto the shore and features stunning stained glass windows, an impressive organ, and beautiful gardens. It offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and welcomes visitors from all over to admire its Gothic-influenced design.
Since we were in this area, we thought it might be a quick stop. Wrong. We were here for about an hour. The views are breathtakingly beautiful on the outside. Then you walk in and wow. Beautiful stained glass windows all around, and just the history of the church is amazing.
Gail W — Google review
I'm so glad we stopped to see this amazing church! From the stained glass windows to the woodwork and the sea rock foundation and walls...it left me breathless. I loved every inch of it. I hope someday to be lucky enough to return and be able to take in a service. JUST WOW!
Darcy M — Google review
Such a beautiful old stone church with the most wonderful stained glass windows! Im so glad it was open to explore. This is also a beautiful spot to take in the ocean with many sailboats passing by. It only takes 10-15 minutes but its worth seeing.

Beautiful church by the ocean Has benches on the grounds to sit at and take in the surroundings
Dawn M — Google review
This is a gorgeous church and there's an outdoor area right at the edge of the cliff where a sermon or worship is given so awesome.
Melissa S — Google review
The location is gorgeous, the building is beautiful, stained glass inspirational and the construction interesting. I'm so glad we stopped.
Mindy — Google review
I met Reggies yesterday, a caretaker of the church and grounds. We had a lovely conversation and I learned a lot about the church history. When I left Reggie gave me a photo he took of the church that was hanging in the entry way, he took the photo at sunrise several years ago and he wanted me to have it. Such a lovely man. I will be back to visit in April. Beautiful church, Reggies personality and gift of chat is an asset to this place of worship.
Stephani W — Google review
Beautiful church, locals recommended it! Although it closes early, there are benches close to it overlooking the beach that make for a gorgeous sunset spot!

Goat Island Lighthouse, located off Cape Porpoise, is a well-known tourist attraction in New England. Built in 1833, it served as a beacon for mariners and even functioned as a watchtower for Secret Service agents during President George H.W. Bush's term. Accessible by boat in the summer, this active lighthouse offers scenic views and a glimpse of the Bush family's Walkers Point estate from its top.
The lighthouse is out in the harbor. You can see it from the shore. Many lobster boats off the coast a tiny restaurant for a quick bite after your done viewing the light house. Parking is very limited.
Angela M — Google review
Goat Island , the lighthouse and its keepers are truly special. It is owned and managed by the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust and only accessible by boat/kayak and tide (high) dependent. Once on the island we were greeted by the nicest people and allowed to tour the island, the lighthouse and its tower. One of the best, if not the best lighthouse in Maine!
E G — Google review
Goat island lighthouse was across the water but you can still see it, with breathtaking views of the boats going about their business as usual. A must see! There are restaurants on the property for lunch and dinner!
Kristie — Google review
Last day of summer but there was no boat running. Viewed the lighthouse from afar. I wouldn’t go out of your way to drive here, unless you are sure you’re making the crossing!
Dani D — Google review
I didn't, yet, visit Goat 🐐 Island 🏝️ Lighthouse but I did get to see 🙈 it from a short distance while on the New England Eco Adventures Tour out of Kennebunkport. It was active with people and I was told you can visit with small crafts, especially 🛶 canoes or paddleboards, or when the tide 🌊 is low. Scenic little island 🏝️. I'm glad the tour I was on visited this lighthouse.
Stephen P — Google review
Beautiful small island with historic lighthouse off the coast of Kennebunkport, Maine. The only way to get there is by boat. We enjoy kayaking there with a picnic lunch

Fog obstructed the morning view, but I'm sure it's nice in better visibility. Thr aroma of seafood by the dock was nice.

The Boathouse Restaurant is a stylish dining spot located in a chic hotel, offering an elegant setting with scenic water views. Situated across from Chez Rosa and right by the river, it features a modern design, separate bar area, and various dining spaces including outdoor seating on pilings. The restaurant's menu is carefully curated with delectable options such as Tuna Poke Bowl and Togarashi-Spiced Salmon, along with a raw bar.
Had a very enjoyable meal at the Boathouse. We started with a sampler of 6 different types of Maine oysters. All fresh and delicious. I had the blackened shrimp tacos which were great. Our table had a very pretty waterfront view. Kennebunkport is an old upscale New England fishing town worth a visit.
Lynn M — Google review
A great surprise and a perfect meal by the water! When we visited Kennebunkport, it was packed with tourists—so packed we couldn’t find parking anywhere! Thankfully, we spotted The Boathouse Restaurant and saw they offered valet parking for diners. That alone felt like a small miracle. We had originally planned to eat here, but the website had said they were closed. We were so glad that turned out to be wrong because the Boathouse ended up being the highlight of our day. The setting was gorgeous—both indoor and outdoor seating are available, but we chose to sit outside right by the water. Watching the kayakers and boats glide by while we dined made for such a relaxing experience. We shared two appetizers and the lobster dinner, and it was more than enough for both of us. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. We kicked things off with drinks—Take Me to Miami and Veni Vedi Lychee—and they were fun and flavorful. We also had the full house salad (huge!) and the clam chowder. The chowder was thick and creamy, though we thought it needed just a touch more seasoning. Still tasty, just a little mild for our preference. But the real standout was the lobster dinner—cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We’re so glad we ended up here. Between the waterfront view, excellent food, and helpful valet service, this was a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!
Aimee M — Google review
The Boathouse Restaurant is a beautiful waterfront location with delicious food and great staff. We came as a party of 7 and had to wait ~1 hour to be seated. No reservations but you’re able to track your wait online. Our waiter, Xavier, was super kind, funny, and great at his job. He even went above and beyond, surprising us with a round of prosecco as we were celebrating a bachelorette party. The steak & noodles salad was the stand out favorite among the group with the Brussels sprouts and lobster fried rice also being crowd pleasers. We’d all definitely recommend this absolutely stunning restaurant!!
Erika — Google review
This is a great setting for a nice dinner by the water. We sat with our dog at the patio. The waitress was courteous and efficient with the service. I had the Grilled Swordfish which was moist and flavorful.
Teddy C — Google review
Food, service, and staff were impeccable. We had a kind waitress named Kali who really catered to our needs and made our experience 10x better. The atmosphere is perfect and the food was good. We had a great table. I realized that I’m actually not a seafood person, so I may not be the best person for this review, but the lobster roll was excellent and very fresh. My mother got the fish and chips and she said it was good but lacked seasoning/flavor. We got the street corn appetizer that was on the specials for the day and it was delicious! Overall, would definitely go back. Try the Miami cocktail and the blueberry sangria!
Adriana T — Google review
Had a lovely dinner here when visiting Kennebunkport for the weekend. We ordered the Seafood Tom Yum Noodles and Seared Shrimp & Scallops to share. The broth of the noodles did have a spicy kick to the them but was still enjoyable. I also had a very refreshing mocktail. We had dinner at sunset and could watch the sunset over the water, great atmosphere and service!
Molly H — Google review
Beautiful spot near the water and we really enjoyed the food! We ordered the wings, poke bowl, and clam chowder. Only complaint…Staff was okay… not very friendly at least our waiter wasn’t.
Nicholette R — Google review
By far the best fish and chips we had on our trip. Large portions. We also had the brussel sprouts which were good, but I didn't get a photo.

The White Barn Inn Restaurant is a top-notch dining and lodging experience, boasting AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star ratings. Whether you opt for the formal restaurant or the more casual Little Barn, both offer farm-to-table menus that will tantalize your taste buds. The servers are welcoming, the ambiance exudes rustic elegance, and the cuisine is simply divine. This upscale establishment in Kennebunkport promises an unforgettable dining experience with its decadent offerings and varied tasting menu.
Went here for my husband's birthday, and it was fantastic! He got the lobster tasting and I got the 8 course tasting. All of the food was fabulous. My husband did the wine tasting, which he enjoyed, but I will mention they give you a lot of wine so you definitely shouldn't drive if you plan on doing that. The whole meal took about 3 hours and was very special!
Sophie D — Google review
The most magical dinner experience. An absolutely beautiful setting accompanied by an incredible menu. Still thinking about the cherry soufflé. It is pre-fixe for $175 or $250 per person. Something we didn’t realize before we sat at the table, but it was soooo worth it!
S R — Google review
We had a fantastic anniversary meal at White Barn. While it is pricey, it was absolutely worth it. Great food and service, and incredible ambiance. The tenderloin and the apple soufflé were delicious. We were seated right by the pumpkin window and it was so lovely. Great live music too. We felt the experience was very worth our money and highly recommend!!
Meghan S — Google review
The Little Barn Inn for lunch was one of the most disappointing meals I have ever had. The menu is fabulous, creative, and enticing, but the execution was horrible for a restaurant of this caliber. The deviled eggs were forgettable. They were as bland as the ones your aunt made for covered-dish dinners at church. They needed salt, and the parmesan crisps were soggy. The turmeric-pickled cauliflower starter was almost inedible. The cauliflower seemed to have been quick-pickled, and the only significant taste was vinegar, which was so strong it nearly choked us both. These first two dishes destroyed our whole experience here. We had studied the menu beforehand and were looking forward to a great lunch that would be a test meal for the dinner we hoped to have a few nights later. The asparagus and wild ramp soup with creme frais was a deep green delight, except it was warm, not hot. The white fish cream dip was good but contained chunks of cream cheese and felt rushed. The small lobster Cobb salad felt thrown together, with large lettuce pieces, and the lobster's texture was wrong. We wanted to love this place, but it was deeply disappointing. The wallpaper in the foyer was stunning, the main barn dining room was rustic and warm, and the service was attentive and understanding. Things should be much better at this high level of dining at this price point. A couple of days later, we had the deviled eggs we were expecting at a modest little restaurant on the beach.
Cape S — Google review
I dined outside on the terrace for lunch. I ordered the lobster roll that came with delicious french fries and a watermelon martini recommended by the wonderful waitress Brittany! The food was absolutely incredible. Probably the best lobster roll I’ve ever had.
Cece H — Google review
We visited for lunch and had the place to ourselves. Deviled eggs were delicious but had some shell left on. Cocktails were delicious. My lobster Cobb was crisp and huge. The mushrooms pasta was small. Over all good but expensive.
Kris H — Google review
I grew up playing in my grandmother's barn of exactly the same size so I felt very comfortable in this space. When they feed you before you've ordered you know they take things seriously. The pride they took in service was outstanding as was their seemless teamwork among those who do the service. The most plesantly surprising rendition of carrot cake I have ever had. Our waistaff helped create the fun of the evening, entirely warm and on it.
Kim C — Google review
I rarely write reviews, but I feel it’s important to set expectations for anyone considering The White Barn. The service and ambiance were truly excellent. The setting is beautiful and inviting, and the staff were warm, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the food was the most disappointing I’ve had at a fine dining restaurant. I dine often at high-end restaurants and was shocked at how poorly executed the dishes were here. The flavors were unbalanced, ingredients didn’t shine, and several courses tasted uninspired or simply missed the mark. While the presentation looked elegant, the taste and overall execution fell flat. For the very high prices charged, the quality was not just underwhelming, it was unacceptable. If you are booking The White Barn for a special occasion, I strongly encourage you to lower your expectations from a food perspective. You’ll enjoy the setting and the service, but the food does not match the reputation or the cost. Sadly, I would not return.

The Clam Shack is a small, popular seafood shack in Kennebunkport that offers delicious fried seafood and mouthwatering lobster rolls. The shack's simple yet delectable lobster roll, made with fresh lobster meat, mayonnaise, and melted butter, has gained widespread acclaim and attracts long lines of eager customers. Visitors to the area often praise The Clam Shack for serving some of the best lobster rolls in New England.
Highly recommended by our family. Went during our day trip to Maine. We arrived early had lunch and dinner this day. The food was hot and delicious. We ordered lobster roll (served on buns. Not lobster toaster bread) onion rings, fried clams, a medium lobster, served with their local draft beer. Line was short when we ordered but grew about 30-40 min after we sat. Try it you’ll love it.
Liz G — Google review
We have been coming to The Clam Shack for 11 years on vacation. We brought our 4 year old son today and the staff could not have been any nicer. No doubt the best lobster roll that I’ve ever had. They give you the tail meat and big juicy pieces! Not stingy at all. Steamer clams are fresh and delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner today and he was awesome! Without a doubt, our favorite place in Maine!
Michele A — Google review
Excellent shack to grab a lobster roll! Service is friendly, food is delicious. Worth the money and the wait. Waits can be long do to the consistent stream of tour busses that drop off too many people. Aside from that, great place!
Grant L — Google review
Looked touristy but was wonderful! We got the lobster roll deal box, and shared between the two of us. Fries were crisp, pickle was fresh and tasted homemade, Cole slaw was actually decent, and the lobster roll was definitely the best I’ve had. So fresh and tender, not at all rubbery. Slightly disappointed in the bun, it was nothing special and like a hamburger bun versus a roll. Prices are high-ish but to be expected at a lobster roll joint in busy Kennebunkport in July! We had no wait and walked right up to the shack. Our food was ready shortly and there was plenty of clean, shaded seating. Lines could be worse on weekends or sunnier days, we snuck in right before a storm hit so folks were leaving. Lovely spot for photos. Inside, there are some souvenirs and staff let us hold a lobster. They don’t do a whole lot but what they do I think they do well. With these prices and limited menu, I think it would not be a great place to feed a whole family, however.
A N — Google review
I cannot say enough great things about The Clam Shack! It was far and away the best meal on our recent trip to Maine. We got lobster rolls, some fried seafood, and clam chowder, which were all so fresh and carefully made. Don't sleep on the frozen drinks either! You can totally tell this is a family run operation that prioritizes incredible hospitality and thoughtfully made food. All non-Clam Shack lobster rolls are ruined for me now. Theirs are that good. I cannot wait to come back!!
Lauren W — Google review
We heard about this on YouTube, had to check it out. It was raining on and off on our day but it didn't stop us. I have to say from a whole meal the whole belly clams we're the best. The chowder was very good. The lobster roll was nothing to write home about it was the smallest we had in our visit in Maine, it was good but I wanted mine with just butter and there was no butter on it. But overall great experience except for the parking. 37.00 for 2 hours!
ALPHA J — Google review
Kind of expensive, but service is efficient and speedy, and the food is quite fresh and good. We had the fried clams and the lobster sandwich "box" (the box version adds fries, cole slaw, and a couple pickle chips). And the blueberry hand pie is delicious!
Russ S — Google review
First time visiting Kennebunkport so I had to try a lobster roll from The Clam Shack. The lobster was good and I was given a “butter” pin to keep based off of my order which was very cute. I thought the lobster would be served warm but it was cold. They had plenty of seating available with picnic tables outside of the shack that are sectioned off nicely by lobster traps.

I guess we didn't research well. We thought this was an actual Bush home. Having said that our tour guide was great. Fantastic. I don't remember her name (darnit) but the Tennessee accent will give her away. She was the highlight of our day. My advice...check this place out. It's worth the time.

Alisson's Restaurant is a beloved dining spot in Kennebunkport, Maine, offering a down-to-earth and casual atmosphere. This family-owned establishment has been serving classic American pub grub for over forty years. The menu features New England-style seafood, gourmet burgers, build-your-own pizzas, Maine lobster mac and cheese, and New York sirloin steak. Additionally, the restaurant offers locally themed drinks such as the Maine Bluetini made with local Cold River blueberry vodka.
Alisson’s is perfect!! I honestly didn’t think I like lobster, but wanted to give it a shot.. This place did not dissapoint! We had the Petite Lobster Roll Trio and Lobster Bisque Poutine, and both were fabulous. Try them if you’re unsure which lobster roll to commit to. Service was great as well. We can’t wait to come back!!
Mina D — Google review
Sat in the bar area there was no wait. I don’t know if there’s an upstairs. Service was fairly attentive. A little bit of a wait to order, get drinks, food runner not as aware of orders as maybe should be, food came out quickly but not together. Drink was nice, presentation attractive, bit expensive for the size. Lobster roll was good, fresh, priced average for the area; overall a good experience. Parking in town is what it is. Ambience fine - they have TVs - Depends on your preference on that..
Christin D — Google review
Never disappoints. Plenty of options. Lobster rolls and lobster bisque is great (creamy, flavorful, and chunks of lobster). Love that you can order a petite roll with bisque. No reservations but can waitlist off yelp. Risotto was a little too el dente but such a great value with all the seafood in it and a nice flavor. I like the deviled egg potato salad option for a side for sometime less greasy. Seasonal beers and even a pumpkin chair cider. Great server too.

We had a delectable dinner and wonderful service from our waitress who not only gave great recommendations but took the initiativeto change our fries to potato salad since we were ordering the Poutine. We had the Seafood Risotto, Petit Lobster Roll and Chowder, Lobster Bisque Poutine which were generous in portion and very delicious.

The hostess wasn’t the friendliest of ladies, but don’t let that stop you from visiting! My husband and I ordered the petite lobster trio and the fish and chips, both were very tasty. The location itself is super cute and has such a nice vibe. We also enjoyed a few cocktails the Apple Cider Mimosa, Campfire Mule, and Gettin’ Figgy With It and all three were delicious in their own way. Definitely worth checking out!

We visited Alisson's during the off-season, and despite many other places being closed, this spot was bustling, which is a great sign! Convenient paid parking is available right behind the building. Alisson's is a true pub—it offers a comfortable, lively atmosphere with traditional pub fare, but with a delicious Maine twist. In its category (distinguishing it from a cafe, standard restaurant, or fine dining), it's absolutely worth a visit. We ordered two of their creative menu items: the Henny Chesney (hot chicken sandwich) and the Happy 'Gil'more. Both were great! The hot sauce on the Henny Chesney was particularly fantastic and made the whole sandwich a hit. The atmosphere was cool, featuring a fun moving beer menu display. The service was excellent; both the host and our waitress were really nice and made the experience very welcoming. If you’re looking for a high-quality, bustling pub with great food in Kennebunkport, Alisson's is a solid choice!

A fellow guest at the place we were staying at heard my hubby and I discussing restaurants to try for fried clams and recommended Allison's. I checked out the menu on the website and became intrigued with the Lobster Bisque Poutine. We decided to give Alisson's a try for dinner. It was a Sunday early evening and we had no need to get on the wait-list. I would recommend visiting their website and checking the wait-list time as it does get busy here. We had no wait for a table and all of the staff was friendly. Our waitress was very attentive. We ordered the Lobster Bisque Poutine as an appetizer. My hubby ordered the Gouda Burger, and I ordered the small lobster roll that came with clam chowder, and a side of potato salad instead of fries. My hubby is picky about his burgers and he really enjoyed this one. The lobster poutine was flavorful and cheesy. It had alot of lobster chunks and was served hot. The lobster roll was served on a buttered toasty roll and was a cool lobster with light mayo salad type, not a hot buttered type. The lobster was cooked perfectly. The white chowder was very good. I am not a fan of ordering white chowder at restaurants because there are so many versions and some are awful. This white clam chowder was one of the best. A simple recipe that results in a creamy chowder with lots of clams and small pieces of potato. We were very happy with our dining experience Alisson's and will go again next time we are in the area to actually try the fried clams!

Asha was very sweet and pleasant throughout my lunch dinning experience. I got the lobster bisque and lobster roll- unfortunately as other reviews have justified, you are paying a high price for these lobster meals, although you are getting MINIMAL lobster! I was dinning with a Maine local, and they expressed they have given approx. 50% of the lobster they should have in the bun. The lobster bisque only had 1 chunk of lobster. Atmosphere was nice, very clean, quick service otherwise- no wait! Would recommend for the other dishes that they serve.

This is a great setting for a nice dinner by the water. We sat with our dog at the patio. The waitress was courteous and efficient with the service. I had the Grilled Swordfish which was moist and flavorful.

Beautiful spot near the water and we really enjoyed the food! We ordered the wings, poke bowl, and clam chowder. Only complaint…Staff was okay… not very friendly at least our waiter wasn’t.

By far the best fish and chips we had on our trip. Large portions. We also had the brussel sprouts which were good, but I didn't get a photo.

Old Vines Wine Bar is a charming bistro housed in a converted bi-level barn, offering an array of creative small plates, cocktails, and wine. The ambiance exudes rustic warmth, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for patrons. Locally sourced or house-made ingredients feature prominently on the menu, reflecting a modern take on Maine cuisine. The knowledgeable and friendly service adds to the top-notch experience. This popular local spot is known for its fine wine selection, craft cocktails, and local beer offerings.
Gorgeously rustic chic atmosphere and seriously delicious food. I attended a private event in the upstairs area and it was really nice. Servers passed small bites like falafel balls and mini lobster rolls that were perfect for the event, then set out a buffet including Caesar Salad, meatballs in sauce, sliced steak etc. for us to nibble on, then brought out blueberry crumble cups and churro bites for dessert. The bartender was friendly and mixed excellent drinks, including an Espresso Martini. I would definitely go back. A very pleasant evening at a pretty venue.
Lisa D — Google review
A bit disappointed. The meals were both bland. I don’t normally ever ask for salt and pepper but was a must. Service was good and atmosphere was very nice. We had a bottle of the Malbec - I unfortunately could recommend that either.
B N — Google review
Service was okay, food was terrible. They did a decent job of making the food look nice… but that’s it. The heirloom tomatoes were soft, burrata came out in a sheet, halibut was overcooked and dry, fettuccine was flavorless, shrimp was overcooked…I mean should I keep going? I don’t know how this place got the rating it currently has but this was a complete waste of $135. We hardly ate, paid the check, waitress didn’t even seem to care that we had barely touched our food. We also saw her drop silverware on the floor and then place it on an empty table for the next patrons to use. Just wow.

We had a fantastic dinner at Old Vines Wine Bar! It was so fun trying the tapas dining style. Everything was delicious — both the food and the cocktails were unique and tasty! My husband said the duck was the best he’s ever had. I’d definitely recommend stopping in!

This place had awesome food! Smaller portion, snack style food! Some larger meals on the menu as well. Ive only been once so far but its possible the menu changes in the warmer season. Ill update. Excellent cocktails 🍸! Everything was great but I really loved the brussel sprouts! It's a beautiful place but the seating is not quite as cozy as I prefer. The upstairs seems to have slightly cozier seating.

Very very nice spot with tapas style dishes. Amazing food! The flavors were great! The place was a little small and the tables were really close together but it had a nice friendly feel. We went in the evening for dinner around 7 so it was a bit crowded but our wait was only 10 minutes. The lighting was nice and dim for a relaxed feel. They also have a nice outdoor area with tables and a fire pit but it was a little too chilly to enjoy that. The staff were all super great and accommodating. The bathroom was very clean and nice. Pleasant time had by all!

Such an amazing place! Outstanding food & service! Loved everything we ordered & we ordered a lot of dishes. The Fig Tartlet with goat cheese, crispy pancetta, roasted shallot jam was my favorite as were the Falafel with preserved lemon yoghurt, cucumber quick pickle, dill, house-made naan & the Chicken Meatballs & Pan Seared Halibut. I wish I’d taken photos of all the food but it was being hobbled up before I had a chance to snap photos! I’ll go back just for the desserts- the Sticky Toffee Pudding Chantilly cream was that good! Will definitely head back to Kennebunkport & Old Vines Wine Bar soon.

This was a highlight of our August vacation in Maine. If you just love cocktails and wines but just want some amazing small bites along with it then this place is your restaurant. It is highly recommended to have reservations for outside and inside or you would have to come early to be on a wait list. The staff was amazing and the cocktails we had were unique and amazing as well. We ordered the beef carpacchio, Caesar salad w/ white anchovies, steak frites and pork belly. All of them were amazing and made by experts. Will gladly go there again with no issues.

Despite its discreet location, this cozy restaurant has gained popularity through word of mouth. The menu features a variety of French comfort food made with locally-sourced ingredients. With an extensive wine selection and nightly specials, diners can enjoy a delightful dining experience in a stylish and intimate setting.
WOW. What a fabulous experience. We came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday with a special dinner and this adorable restaurant did not disappoint. From the beginning the service was exceptional and detail oriented. We mentioned it was my mom’s birthday and they had a special little sign saying birthday in French and we got a nice little chance to toast to the occasion on the house. Our server Kirsten was so lovely and attentive. We all loved our dishes. I had the Parisienne gnocchi, my husband had the short ribs and my mom the steak frites. You could tell they use fresh and local ingredients when possible and everything tasted made to order. The French fries were out of this world. Best we’ve ever had. Please do yourself a favor and try them. They had an extensive drink menu and a killer Bordeaux by the glass. I highly recommend dining here. We can’t wait for an occasion to drive over from New Hampshire and dine here again.

We had an amazing night at Chez Rosa! We had Veronica as our server who made us feel so welcome and special. We had the filet mignon & gnocchi. The fries were the perfect texture! The gnocchi had a lemony & tarragon flavor that was unique yet so delicious! We were so impressed with Chez Rosa that we would recommend it to anyone! The upstairs is absolutely gorgeous too! Our meal and experience was a 10/10!
Brian S — Google review
Overall this restaurant seemed like they were understaffed for this meal and the meals represented that. It was evident when our waiter was split between the bar and our table. Another waiter had to step in and help with our orders. My steak and fries were good, could have been warmer. Another plate, mussels and pasta were good (the only plate with steam coming off the food). The Gnocchi was mushy and bland, also room temperature. And finally, my wife had the lobster puff pastry dish, which was also room temperature. Now we should have sent back 3 of the 4, but we only sent back the lobster to get reheated. It came back hot as it should, and re-plated. I think we were too hungry to send the other 2 plates back so we dealt with it. Overall, for the amount of money we paid for the meal, not up to standard. There are many other amazing restaurants in the area that are worth top dollar and includes prompt service. Sorry, but won't be returning.

Celebrated our anniversary here, lovely mood lighting. Food was excellent, Mr Right had filet mignon with frites and bordelaise sauce and garlic ailioli. I ordered mussles with white wine, garlic and pasta. Both meals were excellent. Try the fondue we had that for the appetizer, very fun. The waitress brought us a special non alcoholic drink to toast our anniversary. (We are not drinkers).

We decided out the blue to have dinner but we tried to make a reservation on a Saturday night obviously the books were full. YAZ managed to fit us in and that was the start of a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely phenomenal!!! Everything about our dinner was amazing ( we ordered 3 entree’s lol) my wife and I enjoyed every bite. Now service during our time there from the moment we walked through the door until we were finishing our night was perfect. I am a Chef myself and I can’t express how delightful our experience was last night. We will certainly be back . The FOH Staff was amazing Morgan (222) is a gem . We will be recommending this place to everyone thank you again for an amazing dining experience!!!! Cheers, Ron & Ruth

Mabel's Lobster Claw, located on Ocean Ave in Kennebunkport, is a casual dining spot serving up classic coastal fare such as lobster dinners and fresh fish. The restaurant is known for its decadent Lobster Savannah and comforting lobster rolls. Families with children can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while indulging in blueberry pie or other desserts. Mabel's is a local staple and proudly displays a photo of George and Barbara Bush on their wall.
Parking is a nightmare but everything after that was wonderful. Our server, Jennifer, was superlative. Great personality and the desired amount of attentiveness. Our cocktails were enjoyable. We got a Maine Blueberry lemonade and a coconut Margarita. The appetizer stuffed mushrooms are crazy good! Stuffed with lobster stuffing, roasted red peppers, and Provolone. It come with two large mushrooms in a cast iron pan. Perfect for 2 to share. The entrees we got were the Duke, which was scallops / shrimp / haddock / lobster / garlic wine served in a cast iron pan. This came with rice, I subbed fries, and veg. My dining companion got Mabel's baked stuffed lobster, which was stuffed with scallops / shrimp / bacon / creamy clam stuffing. Both meals were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this spot.

Enjoyed a hot buttered lobster roll, and a haddock sandwich Cajun style and it did not disappoint. This cute restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and has been visited by lots of famous people including George Bush. Pictures and articles inside are nostalgic. Service was great. Food was yummy. Walking distance to the Bay of Maine where the views are breathtaking.

Very quaint local spot. Food was pretty solid but some of the portions were small, particularly the sides. We had the chicken sandwich and crab cakes with rice and coleslaw. Everything was decent but I wasn’t blown away. Interior decor is cute and staff was very attentive and friendly.

Mabel’s Lobster Claw is hands-down my favorite place to eat in Maine. From the moment you step inside, the cozy, welcoming atmosphere wraps around you like a warm hug. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food… absolutely unforgettable. I ordered the clam chowder, and my husband had the Seafood Newburg — both dishes were perfection. Rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite reminded us why this spot is so loved by locals and visitors alike. This is classic New England seafood done right — comforting, fresh, and delicious. But a word to the wise: make reservations ahead of time. This place stays booked and busy, and for very good reason. With its warm hospitality, coastal charm, and exceptional food, Mabel’s Lobster Claw isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a Maine experience. Five stars simply isn’t enough.
Amber M — Google review
The food was mostly decent. I haven’t had so many lobster rolls yet, but the few i’ve tried were better than what we had here. Pasta was good, not overcooked. It had plenty of lobster. Fried fish was fresh. The most disappointing thing was the blueberry pie, which was served cold! That was atrocious. This places is around 4.3-4.4 starts and it does have some character. I would try it again if the pie wasn’t cold! (I did wonder if pie should be served warm… or maybe it’s just me, so asked ChatGPT, which confirmed that in Maine it’s usually served warm.)
Dmitry G — Google review
Classic Maine vibes with a solid lobster roll. Stopped in for lunch at Mabel’s while passing through Kennebunkport. I had the clam chowder and a buttered lobster roll. The chowder was solid—very traditional, creamy, with good flavor, though nothing particularly standout. The lobster roll was the star: generous chunks of lobster, warm buttered bun, no unnecessary filler. Simple and well executed. It’s been my favorite roll so far this trip, and probably 4th best overall out of many I’ve tried over time. Friendly service, classic Maine atmosphere—worth a stop if you’re in the area and want a dependable, no-frills lobster roll.
Caleb B — Google review
We ordered takeout at the window because of the limited parking so I can’t speak on the atmosphere inside but the patio was nice. The lobster rolls were absolutely delicious and they came with tasty fries. The house tartar sauce was amazing and would recommend dipping your fries into it! The service however was slow at the window and not very friendly.

They take reservations but also seat walking in the front porch or bar. Friendly server. WiFi. Decent lobster roles and onion rings but wouldn’t get the Mac cheese again.

The Lost Fire is the latest culinary gem from renowned restaurateur German Lucarelli, and it’s making waves along the Maine coast with its unique take on Patagonian barbecue. This cozy eatery may not be waterfront, but its inviting atmosphere and thoughtfully designed dining spaces create a warm ambiance that enhances your meal. The menu boasts an impressive selection of wood-fired steaks and fresh seafood, all prepared with meticulous attention to detail.
We shared a wonderful meal in their patio space. Delicious appetizers and perfectly cooked steaks. Our server Gina was super helpful with our many questions. We will absolutely be back when we’re back in town next year. If you’re thinking of trying this place out, you won’t be disappointed!
Maddi S — Google review
We arrived for our reservations and were told our two parties couldn’t sit together despite their being 2 tables open next to each other. We were advised to sit together we would have to pay $155 per person. Once seated, I ordered a fillet rare. It was a little over cooked and lacked any seasoning. It was basically just a regular steak. Also ordered 1 gelato since we were advised it was 3 scoops. As you can see from the picture, it was certainly less than. Expected a lot more based on the website and sadly lacked all expectations. Look elsewhere. To follow up on the response from lost fire: I understand we couldn’t be guaranteed to sit together, but the tables in the picture that are empty were not reserved. You just tried to make a point of not accommodating us which is what really turned us off. How do you explain “3 scoops” of ice cream in the provided picture? Like I said, definitely not worth the money.

My husband and I haven’t had an experience this good since our honeymoon in Hawaii. Everything was so fresh and delicious. You could taste and see the effort that was poured into everything. We are visiting Boston, Portland, and Kennebunkport from Texas. This was our standout meal, and we had a lot of great ones. Upscale without being stuffy. Definitely a special occasion spot for people in our tax bracket, but the food was just exceptional. I’ll dream of my short rib and Brussels for a while.

Spectacular food and service (Matthew is terrific). Steaks and short ribs are the best around. Unfortunately the booth next to us was chaotic with children and infants screaming and crying while the parents nor management did anything to mitigate this shameful behavior. We expect better after spending $250 per couple and most likely will not be returning.

This was one of the top 3 steaks I’ve ever had. The empanadas were great, we tried one of each type. The service was phenomenal and food even better. Though it was a bit out of the way, it was worth the drive!

I booked a reservation on OpenTable, provided my credit card information and assumed everything was set. Arrived at The Lost Fire...reservation was not in the system. They were booked solid and had to scramble because the outdoor service was unavailable due to an earlier rain storm. Front of the house service still accomodated us. Back of the house service was fantastic. Manager was on point. From the moment you approach the front door, you can breathe the wood fires preparing the food. Delicious and authentically prepared ceviches and steaks. Excellent selection of drinks from the bar. Excellent service. We will be visiting again!
Gerald R — Google review
The best steakhouse in Maine....hands down! We kicked things off with the Argentinian beef empanadas because, well, how could we not? They were flavorful and well-made, but honestly, the steaks were so massive that we didn’t need the appetizer. Complimentary bread arrives with two oil-based dips, one chimichurri and one with peppers and onions. That second one stole the show for me and was the perfect complement to the steak. We ordered the bacon-wrapped ribeye special and the strip. Both were enormous, beautifully cooked, and packed with flavor. The mashed potatoes were pure creamy goodness, and the spinach made for a great side. We ended up taking half our steaks home, and they were just as delicious the next day. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the nostalgic ice cream sandwich. Loved the cookie packaging and the portion size, just right after a big meal. Be sure to save a little room!

Ocean Restaurant at the Cape Arundel Inn and Resort is a highly popular spot located along Ocean Avenue, offering exquisite craft cocktails and stunning views of the waves crashing on the rocks. The restaurant presents its dining offerings through tasting menus, featuring three-course culinary extravaganzas that are a must-try. Guests can enjoy ocean-inspired fine cuisine while taking in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic.
What a beautiful experience we had dining at Ocean. Our server, Charlotte was 5 star all the way. The food was delicious and presentation on par with the fine dining I've experienced at restaurants such as Per Se, Le Bernadin and Daniel in NYC. This restaurant only offers pre-fixe menus 4 courses $125pp but the selections are nicely varied to accommodate different palates. My family of 4 dined here and everyone left with full bellies and happy smiles. The bar tender made delicious cocktails! (Wild Blossoms) If you're looking for a restaurant that has stunning views, great service, and not your typical local fried seafood fair, come here and celebrate this culinary thrill I found in Kennebunkport ❤️😊✌️

Great food, ambience, view, service!! Olivia was a delight and gave me some good info to help me decide. I tried a drink with Amaro Nonino that was excellent. The bisque and cod were also pretty stellar, and the corn-based cheesecake was a very nice surprise. Definitely a place to come back!

A fabulous fine dining experience. Quintessential Maine coast location overlooking the rocky shoreline in a very beautiful area. The dining room was wall to wall windows with an old school vibe. I would suggest going earlier while the sun is still out so you can appreciate the view. Linen tablecloths. Silverware replaced and crumbs cleaned up up after every course. The service was outstanding (thank you Amanda!). The food was superb. Surprisingly creative. Very good wine list by the bottle or by the glass. It's not cheap, but it's nice to know there are still places where you can spend more but actually get what you pay for.

We didn’t know what to expect but had heard that the food at Ocean was well worth the price of admission. We found that to be true and more. Setting was quintessential Maine. The dining room was intimate, comfortable and inviting. The service was excellent and the food the very best we’ve had in a long time. The prix fixe menu included a wide range of options from tuna tartare to scallops and corn purée to lamb shank to duck to toasted halibut—every morsel was absolutely delicious. We sat at a table overlooking the ocean and couldn’t be more pleased with the overall experience.

Fixed price menu, roughly $200/person, duck was dry and service was not on par with price. Was seated next to a temporary Air conditioning unit. For the price I would expect top notch service and nothing less. As is seemingly everywhere, the quality overall has declined and this was our last visit.

Just went for cocktails and bites from the Veranda menu. It was pretty windy outside, so they let us sit in the living room. But we still had an incredible view of the ocean at sunset! The drinks and food were amazing. I loved the Thyme 75 and the deviled eggs (perfect smokey paprika and crispy shallots). It was quiet and not crowded during the off-season. The service was perfect. Attentive and kind, but let us enjoy our quiet time with the waves. We will definitely be back!

I really wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars, however there were a couple of things that disappointed me. First, it was our 50th anniversary and when I booked the reservation a month in advance I asked for a table with a view of the water, but was told they could not do that?? Instead, we were seated in the back corner as far from the front windows as possible. We were given a complimentary glass of champagne, but it was not what I wanted for my bride of 50 years. Secondly, I really wanted the halibut but they were out of it, so I ordered the steak which was somewhat tough, so disappointment #2. All other dishes were excellent, but when you're paying premium prices I expect premium food for all dishes, especially the main. Service was excellent and the Inn is beautiful and has a great location. We will visit again and sit on the porch for drinks and bar food and enjoy the view.

Via Sophia by the Sea is a modern osteria located in the heart of Lower Village Kennebunk. It offers a lively and sophisticated setting with chic brown leather banquettes, attracting a trendy crowd. The restaurant focuses on Italian classics and fresh Maine seafood, with dishes made from scratch using the freshest ingredients. The menu features seafood-centric options like cioppino teeming with mussels and lobster, as well as innovative plates.
One of the best meals I have had in recent memory. The Halibut Gnocchi Clam Chowder was incredible. It was creative and an absolutely incredible take on a classic clam chowder. Our waitress, Chris (sorry for SP?) was super friendly and quick. Bottle of wine paired well with everything we ordered from the octopus appetizer, which may have been a daily special to the mains which were the Halibut and the duck. Recommend 10/10 in the area.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful dinner here on a Thursday night in mid August 2023. Great food and huge portions. The fried calamari app was very tasty, as was the complimentary bread. The grilled swordfish entree was perfectly done, the veal saltimbocca with risotto was wonderful, and the lemon sorbet for dessert was one of the best we've had. Parking can be tight, but I did manage to find a spot. The noise level in the restaurant was moderate, but we could hear ourselves talk. Service was good, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Definitely a fine dining restaurant, with a nice outside deck (which we couldn't use because it was raining). However there are no scenic views despite the name "by the Sea." You cannot see the ocean or any other body of water. We had an excellent dining experience and plan to go back the next time we vacation in the area. 100% recommend this restaurant for a wonderful fine dining experience.

Via Sophia is an incredible new restaurant in Kennebunkport. Easy to book on Open Table. What a great redesign of the space. It got a little loud, but something they could fix. The decor was elegant and rustic, with an attractive bar flanked by a nice outdoor deck for dining and then the oversized fireplace back inside. The decor set the tone for a warm, comfortable high-end dining experience. That’s what we had. We enjoyed selections off their craft cocktail list and had 6 menu items with appetizers, secondi and entrees. We overate a tad, but we’re excited to try more. We were greeted immediately, the host accommodated us being a little early, our server (I think Ann) rocked and made it a very smooth dinner. Always checked back and gave us a little space between courses. The supporting cast were attentive filling water, clearing etc… They were on their game. We had a lot of highlights like the tuna, arranchini, burrata and lobster entrée. It’s a lovely atmosphere with a very tasty Italian style menu.

Came to Via Sophia when visiting Kennebunkport for my moms 60th birthday! To start, the Rosemary focaccia was outstanding. Then we had the fried squash blossoms. Rich, but incredible!! Two of us got the lobster and scallop angliotti. It was so much seafood but cooked perfectly. The broth was my favorite. Great portions. We were so full! The cod was crispy and also great on a bed of creamy corn and lobster. To finish the evening, Andre served us a drink at the rabbit hole (bar downstairs). The whole evening was spectacular. Highly recommend this place for a great experience and ambiance. 10/10

Via Sophia is wonderful. First off, the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous to be in. Every detail inside the space (and on the outdoor patio) is beautiful. The food was delicious — our favorite was the mussels and the very unique (and incredibly tasty) broth! The arancini was also really good and the pesto gave it a unique feel. We dine out quite often and Via Sophia is a new favorite for sure!

Latin American restaurant
Pedro's Mexican Restaurant is a vibrant and lively spot in Lower Village that offers an authentic south-of-the-border dining experience. The colorful and playful indoor dining area, as well as the enticing outdoor seating with a blazing fire pit, create a festive atmosphere for enjoying scratch-made upscale Mexican fare. The restaurant's quirky decor, including surfboards in the parking lot and sombreros on the ceiling, adds to its vacation-like ambiance.
A long-time Kennebunk icon with a mix of tourists and locals. Food and drinks here are great, delicious Mexican with a casual, relaxed vibe. Staff is attentive and the menu was recently updated, had the Quesabirria and it was amazing. Gets busy and crowded at times, but there’s a reason. Michael was our bartender - a born and raised Mainer - and he was awesome.

Michael T -The bar manager made our experience so pleasant. He suggested great beverages and delicious munchies. What a great bar manager at a fun, relaxing restaurant in lower village Kennebunk! The outside patio on this beautiful day made us feel like we were on vacation in a south of the border location. Music, tropical vibes, and great food and drink! We love Pedro’s!

Megan is an amazing server and was quick to entertain the children. She snapped to each request with a quick response. The food was impeccable and authentic Mexican. Megan went above and beyond her job to ensure we all felt comfortable and smiling ear to ear. Well done! It’s worth the visit!

Pedro’s is a Kennebunkport treasure you’ll want to visit twice (or more)! Pedro’s is the kind of place that pulls you in with its charm and keeps you there with its people. My partner and I visited twice during our 3-day trip to Kennebunkport and we even tried for a third visit on our way home! Sadly, it wasn’t open for lunch that day, but that just means we’ll be back next time we’re in town. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was fun yet relaxed. The restaurant is filled with religious statues and mementos that give it a unique, eclectic atmosphere - cool, fun, and totally unforgettable. We sat at the bar both nights and ended up closing it down, chatting with every bartender like we were longtime friends. Each one was warm, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. Meeting the owner, Norm, was a highlight. He’s the kind of person who makes you feel like you’re part of the Pedro’s family. His passion for the place is obvious, and it shows in every detail, from the decor to the drinks to the incredible food. If you’re visiting Kennebunkport, Pedro’s is an absolute must. We’ll be back next time we’re in town and will probably be sitting at the bar again until last call.

Had a very nice dinner at Pedro's really enjoyed the food and the margaritas were very good also.

This was my first visit to Pedro's Mexican Restaurant. We were a party of four. We were seated quickly and a waiter came right away for drink orders. Soon after our drinks arrived we were asked about dinner orders. One in the party wanted an appetizer and her entree afterward. They accommodated her request perfectly. We all received our entrees immediately after she was done with her appetizer. The food was hot, well-presented and generous portions. I have attached photos of the appetizer and all the dishes as they arrived. The atmosphere was very good even though a bit noisy because the restaurant was very busy. We were able to have conversations among ourselves without talking loudly. Pedro's is one of those places you'll enjoy time and time again. Give it a try.

New GM and bartenders! A new menu to bring new flavors to an already authentic taste! They also have added a new frozen drink machine for some tasty frozen margaritas! I definitely will be returning!

Hurricane Restaurant is a casual eatery with maritime decor and an iconic river view, offering upmarket American fare such as rack of lamb and stuffed lobsters. The restaurant boasts an award-winning wine list, extensive seafood-centric menu, and in-house pastry chef. It's renowned for its Sunday Brunch experience and happy hour specials featuring light bites and drink specials. With stunning waterfront views, Hurricane Restaurant provides a full upscale dining odyssey that's worth the wait through the dark winter months.
We stumbled on this restaurant today while visiting Kennebunkport. What a wonderful, delicious find. I had the 5 onion soup and my husband enjoyed eggs Benedict with hash. I finished with pistachio crime brûlée. All was excellent the French onion soup was so good and the crème brûlée along with all our food was beautifully presented. Go to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

Grouper was very good. Caesar salad would have benefited from shaved Parmesan instead of crumbled. The blueberry cobbler is normally served with vanilla ice cream but we got it without.

Great atmosphere and service. Overall food was very good. Cauliflower bites were very bland. Definitely needs a dipping sauce. Fish and chips was very good. Not sure if restaurant does not have lemon but asked twice for my fish and my drink and never got it. Haddock always needs lemon🤷🏼‍♂️ Special drink of the day was strawberry Hugo spritz….EXCELLENT!
Mal K — Google review
Hurricane restaurant has a large attractive old-fashioned bar with several high tops good for drinks and or eats and opens up into a very classic classy seaside restaurant. The seafood stew containing an entire half lobster along with shrimp, mussels, clams, and scallops in a fabulous Mediterranean broth was tremendous. The porterhouse pork shop with chutney on a bit of mashed potatoes with great kill. Chips was very good. The prices were appropriate. The service was mediocre as our waitress spent all of our time at a six top table next to us with 4×2 pound lobsters and open bottles of wine, so we assumed would make a bigger tip. Will definitely go back for their extensive menu and excellent food and hope for better service.
William K — Google review
Disappointed by our experience. We made a reservation at Hurricane and timed with our arrival in town. We ordered only entrees and after almost 40 min, had to ask to check on our order and it turned out the kitchen had missed our order. The waitress was very nice and offered us free dessert but she didn’t check on us very often and should have checked on our order before we asked. I got the chicken which was extremely salty. My boyfriend thought his pork chop was just OK.

We had a party of 6 that met here on a September afternoon. Our server, Vicky, was super. She showed up when needed without bothering us. All of our meals were perfect and our seat on the deck overlooking the river had a beautiful view. My fish and chips was as good as any ever. Parking can be a real issue in Kennebunkport, especially on the weekend. Grab a spot at one of the public lots and enjoy a stroll to the restaurant.
John M — Google review
Do not eat here if you want friendly service. The bartender was rude. I asked if I could modify my food because I have celiacs. The answer was Quick and a NO! I asked what was GF he looked at me like I was inconveniencing him! I wasn’t asking for much. So I went for the lobster Cobb it was fresh but little lobster meat. Not GF friendly! For the prices the service should have been way better.

Good atmosphere, slow but good service, small portions considering price, taste of food good. Imo salmon was undercooked.

Love this airport! Less Hassle and the staff is wonderful. There's nothing like not being stressed about flying. Well be using this for now on! Thanks Pease!

Its very nice little airport with new addition in waiting area for passengers. Warm atmosphere always.
Valeria F — Google review
I grew up outside of Pease back in it's SAC days of the 70-80's. It totally hooked me into aviation and I still spend a lot of time here now shooting the local 157th ARW which now flies the KC-46A Pegasus and the transient aircraft that use KPSM as a stop over or the summer lobster runs. Great spots to take photos as well, Grill 28 is the restaurant at the golf course and has excellent food!
Dave O — Google review
So easy on my first time flying out of Portsmouth. Breeze airways was great! If they flew to PBI I would fly them all the time!
Lorene D — Google review
What a great airport! It's hard to believe that it used to be a major USAF SAC base with nuclear weapons along with many kinds of bombers and fighters. The 17,000 foot military-built runway is amazing to takeoff and land from. Commercial jets only use about half it's length! Don't be surprised if you see a massive military C5 transport or various types of refueling jets. The military still maintains a refeueling wing at Pease. There's currently just one gate at this terminal. As a result, it's amazingly fast from drop-off through security and to the gate. Supposedly, two more gates will be added by 2019 to service more Allegiant destinations. When I flew Allegiant (mid 2017), it was on a brand new Airbus A320. The seats did not recline, but they were still comfortable for me. The service and flight were excellent.

This smaller airport makes for easy travel. Easy parking and a lot cheaper than noston.Small cafe for sandwiches and snacks after security.

Portland International Jetport

Airport
Portland International Jetport is a small airport located southwest of the peninsula in Portland, Maine. It is serviced by major airlines such as American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and JetBlue. The airport offers limited nonstop flights to destinations on the east coast, with a few additional flights to the South and Midwest. Travelers appreciate the ease of navigating this airport, with minimal wait times for security and pleasant employees. Amenities include a children's play area and various car rental agencies.
Clean, Organized, and Hassle-Free! I had a great experience at Portland Jetport (PWM) in Maine during a domestic flight. The airport is very clean and well-organized. Parking is easy and close to the terminal. TSA security was quick, professional, and courteous. Overall, a smooth and stress-free travel experience — highly recommended!

I picked up a car from turo at that parking garage. And the lady at the cashier window was extremely disrespectful. They dropped the car earlier in the day and I flew in at 10pm and I’m leaving and they told me on turo it was $10 and they left $10 cash for me. Well the lady at the window started giving me extreme attitude and I asked why is it $21 and she got Real stern with me and I asked for a receipt (obviously for the turo) and she asked if I think she’s lying to me and I asked what her problem is. I don’t know but you guys need to figure this women out… I never experienced ANYONE talking to me the way she did and started laughing loud. It literally took everything in my soul to not drag her. Please for lord sakes…. Look at the cameras or something.

This could be the greatest airport ever. We zipped through check in and security in two minutes — AND the TSA people were perfectly wonderful and kind. Of course, it probably helps we were here at 7 am and there were very few people here. Still, bravo! I sure wish every airport experience was like this was. It turned traveling from tolerable to pleasant.
Charles V — Google review
Nice airport, fairly ready to get around. Security usually moves at a decent pace. Wish the maintenance people could figure out how to keep the plugs on the chairs in the gate areas working. Probably 75% didn't have any power or were broken.
Andrew M — Google review
The streamlined rental return process was a positive aspect of our experience. However, our travel plans were significantly impacted by a two-hour delay at the check-in area. We departed on a 2.5-hour drive and began our day at 4:00 AM with the intention of a relaxed morning and breakfast. Unfortunately, we, along with numerous other travelers, experienced an extended wait time, which was particularly challenging for senior citizens. By 9:00 AM, over 40 individuals were awaiting the arrival of staff. This delay subsequently affected our ability to proceed through TSA security, further disrupting our schedule and precluding the opportunity for a leisurely breakfast.
Jackie K — Google review
Small airport — easy to navigate and convenient overall. However, Southwest’s customer service was disappointing during my visit. Also, there was a noticeable unpleasant smell in the terminal, which I later realized came from temporary bathrooms between the gates — hoping its temporary construction.
Kelli M — Google review
Portland International Jetport (PWM) in Maine is a small, efficient, and traveler-friendly airport serving the Portland area and southern Maine. Known for its ease of navigation and short wait times, it provides a stress-free travel experience compared to larger airports. The airport primarily handles domestic flights, with airlines such as American, Delta, United, and JetBlue offering connections to major hubs across the country. The terminal is compact, clean, and easy to navigate, with clear signage and helpful staff. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, charging stations, and comfortable seating areas, making it convenient for both short waits and longer layovers. Dining options are limited but adequate, featuring local eateries, coffee shops, and grab-and-go selections. There are also small shops offering travel essentials, gifts, and local products.

Clean, basic airport. As expected for the needs of the area. TSA employees are over the top considering how many people pass through here. Overall average
