Step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich history of America's oldest pretzel bakery at Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery in Lititz, Pennsylvania. This 19th-century bakery offers interactive tours where you can witness the traditional pretzel-making process and explore a historic stone home turned snack and souvenir shop.
This place was awesome. The tour was awesome and the staff was great. They were great with the kids and the pretzel tying exercise was great. The history of the place was so cool. The pretzels were really good, both the soft pretzels and the hard pretzels. The prixefor the soft pretzels are amazing at just $2.00 a piece and on top of that you could get a buy one get one free coupon from the local map. Overall this is a must stop and is so much fun.

My husband and I visited the historic Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery, America's first pretzel bakery since 1861! We tried their original pretzel, which was soft and warm, but oh-so-salty! Although we skipped the pretzel-making tour, the gift shop was a fun stop. Picked up a cute souvenir magnet for Lititz - a sweet reminder of our visit. A must-visit for pretzel lovers and history buffs! 4/5 stars.
Priya P — Google review
Stopped in on the way home from Lebanon and was able to pick up hot freshly baked pretzels, chocolate covered pretzels with either peanut butter or caramel, and a pretzel magnet for our frig! Pretzels are not like the Philly style we're used too rather softer and doughier with what could be a wheat based flour? None the less they were very good and we're making them last a few days. I didn't have time for the tour but enjoyed to old world charm of the store, staff was super nice!
Rich — Google review
Took the tour here about a year ago with Kathy as our guide, and she was fantastic: enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and really friendly. The tour was short but informative, with plenty of interesting history packed into a fun experience that works for all ages. It’s definitely something worth doing once, and I’d happily stop back in for their warm, soft pretzels and other treats from the gift shop. The building itself is neat to see, and the pretzels alone make it worth the visit if you're in the area.
Jacob B — Google review
A GREAT tour! We learned a lot about pretzel making. I made a pretzel out of a pile of dough. I'm not sure if I could do it again. The soft pretzels available for sale at the gift shop were warm and tasty. If are in the area this is a must visit at only $6.00 a person.
William M — Google review
We were in Lancaster County from Kentucky and just had to try a pretzel! Very cool atmosphere! My husband and I both got a hot pretzel and picked out some goodies to bring home. The pretzel was very good, however I would have liked to see samples of their mustard given with the pretzels instead of the Land o Lakes branded cheese.
Molly J — Google review
Soft pretzels are one of my favorite things in the world, but I also love any pretzel really ... so when we decided to make a day trip to check out Lititz, PA, this is my top priority on the itinerary. The history all around the building in placards and given on the short and sweet tour were all informative and very interesting. Rolling and twisting your own pretzel was very cool as well. We spent quite a lot between ourselves and grabbing things for family in the store as well, because everything looks so good, and so far the few things we've tried back home have been great. Try the soft pretzel for sure! Being from Philly I've never met a soft pretzel I don't like, but theirs was very unique tasting compared to a philly street pretzel. Phenomenal.
Mike R — Google review
I've done this tour before and it was great last time. This round was not so good. They didn't have enough pretzels after the tour to buy. (They had like 5 total) The tour guide was unintelligible, monotone and was barely enthused. She memorized a script and you could tell. While she may be nice enough, she's not cut out to do these tours. I would not attend this again if same tour "guide."

Lititz Springs Park

Mentioned on

Park
Nature & Parks
Lititz Springs Park is a well-maintained community park with a rich history and various attractions. It features stone waterways fed by underground limestone springs, providing a picturesque setting for leisurely walks and duck watching. The park hosts regular concerts and the town's annual 4th of July celebration, drawing large crowds. Families often visit the park to enjoy its playgrounds, concession stands, and dog-friendly environment.
Love this park and it’s a big part of why I love living in Lititz. This park is truly a gem, as are all of the dedicated volunteers who keep it being such a treasure for the community. Lititz is incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful park AND an amazing community of people who keep it. It isn’t every community that has something so nice right in the middle of town. What you make of it is on you.
James S — Google review
Great park in a great town. Today we saw a live performance of "Swing" performed by Servants Stage. It was music, dance and awesome singing. The park has an excellent band shell, along with a concession stand, picnic pavilions and restrooms. The stream runs through the park and is home to dozens of ducks. A fun place to visit.
Daryl H — Google review
It's a perfect place for family picnics, there are tables with benches, peaceful environment with squirrels and ducks, and free parking. The Lititz Spring park is quite small and it's actually surprising how many different impressions that place can fit. There are ponds and canals for ducks. There is a church near by with beautiful flowers. There are sounds of organ coming from time to time to the park (maybe from the church). There are some nice cafes around (I recommend New Holland). It's a good place to relax and talk to your family outside your house.
Aleksei K — Google review
Lititz Spring Park is a charming space with lush greenery and serene fountain. The Reading caboose station was a fun photo op. A lovely place to unwind and enjoy; watching the ducks swim by was delightful. There is free parking. Highly recommend for a peaceful stroll!
Priya P — Google review
Never been to a park before tailor made for ducks. Good size park for being in the center of a town. Has plenty of green area and trees, 2 huge covered outdoor picnic facilities and a man made stream running through it. They take advantage of the gentle slope and have 2 big ponds at both ends. The ducks take notice and flock there to sit and drift all day long. Unique.
M W — Google review
This is a cute park where you can sit back and relax or learn some history with the caboose museum. Feed some ducks or let your kids unwind in the playground . There is a gazebo for a party and baseball field .
Kikki B — Google review
It’s always been my favorite park since first visiting last year for the July 4th. There’s an extremely small but cute farmers market every Thursday (which more places should def get in on this so can have more shoppers supporting small businesses!) it’s always so clean, the ducks are so cute and chill and they aren’t those pesky Canadian geese, they are actual real ducks lol. What’s missing is a dog park/area, splash zone for kids, and a secured way to get into the park from the residents in the buildings next to it. I do enjoy all the pokemon Go community things that happen, there should be more little festivals! It’s such a big place with a amphitheater even
J K — Google review
Mi girls and I love this park we come to visit Pennsylvania once a year to visit family and Lititz park is a must . We love feeding the ducks and play on the swings and playground

Wilbur Chocolate Retail Store

Mentioned on
9 lists
Chocolate shop
The Wilbur Chocolate Retail Store is a must-visit destination in Lititz, offering a wide range of sustainably and responsibly sourced chocolate products. Located near the original Wilbur Chocolate Factory, this store provides an array of delectable chocolate candies that make perfect gifts for any occasion. Open from Monday to Saturday, visitors can explore the diverse selection of chocolate specialties made in the Wilbur Kitchen and indulge in iconic treats like Wilbur Buds.
My husband and I visited the historic Wilbur Chocolate Place, where the iconic Chocolate Buds were first made, and it's fascinating to see the roots of a beloved treat that inspired Hershey's Kisses! We loved exploring the variety of chocolates available and ended up buying some delicious Milk Chocolate Buds. The sweet, melt-in-your-mouth texture was great, but they come with a slightly pricey tag ($17 per pound)! Worth noting that parking is available on site. Overall, a sweet experience that's worth indulging in! 4.5/5 stars
Priya P — Google review
After you are welcomed with the wonderful smell of chocolates, you'll see an open area where the chocolates goodness are being made in front of your eyes. If that is not inviting enough, I don't know what will. The chocolates have a nice depth of flavors in them and the overall confection is not overly sweet and you can still taste each of the ingredients in your mouth. The decoration in the store are so very charming and with lots of history items on display.
Ann M — Google review
OMG! This is my kind of place. They have something that looks like a Hershey kiss but predates it. The kiss came after. If you love chocolate like I do, this is the place for your. I really like the Ritz peanut butter crackers coated in Wilbur chocolate. I am definitely hooked.
Alan B — Google review
Great chocolate - Wilbur Buds are a classic favorite. (They were around before the Hershey Kiss). Don’t sleep on the Triple Coated Almonds!! Also the Peanut Butter fudge!!😍Nice gift tins and special packaging (a bit pricey)
Missy.aidensmom — Google review
Great old time chocolate smells and you can watch the ladies doing their job. Only too sweet for my tastes. Lots of nostalgia.
Mr. E — Google review
The Wilbur Chocolate Store in Lititz has a great selection of products, and from the dark chocolate sample I tried when we visited, it's really great chocolate. I didn't purchase too much during my visit, but don't let that dissuade you from visiting, my sweet tooth tends to be for Fruit flavored candy like Laffy Taffy and gummy candy, chocolate isn't my thing. I can tell you from the sample I had though, if you've got a weakness for chocolate, this is a place to check out.
Mike R — Google review
Fantastic real handmade chocolate 🍫 😋 👌 is awesome. I send you all a smile from my heart 👌 ✨️ 👍 ❤️ Michael
Michael S — Google review
As soon as you walk in, the amazing scent of chocolate settles in... Absolutely Mouthwatering. They also have free samples of these little chocolate nibs that are so much better than Hershey kisses!!!! I'm guessing that a lot of the stock was depleted because this was right after the holiday, and that staff were maybe just exhausted because no one greeted us or said hello while we were there and quite a few items we're missing from the shelves. That being said, this is a must stop when you're in lititz. Even with some of the inventory not available, there were so many things to choose from. Make sure you check this place out while you're in town!

Museums
The Lititz Historical Foundation offers a rich and diverse history for visitors to explore. The museum and Johannes Mueller House showcase the town's creativity and important contributions through changing exhibits and artifacts. Visitors can immerse themselves in the heritage of the Moravian settlers who founded Lititz in the 18th century. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy nearby Lititz Springs Park, featuring gardens, walking trails, and a spring-fed stream.
If booking tours online I recommend calling to confirm time/availability. The website states opening "10AM" on Sat however the GPS/navigator I used indicated not opening until 11AM (wrong). Thankfully no missed tour and they fit me in with the very next scheduled tour!

I took my Wife on the Ghost Tour, although we didn’t see any that night, the guide Kevin told us some interesting stories about the town and some of the Urban Legends which have stood the test of time. The tour is about an hour, and there is some walking involved. Kevin is a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide.
Pete G — Google review
Our guide, Sheryl was fabulous. While we didn’t see any ghosts, it was SOOO much fun! Highly recommend.
Kathy H — Google review
We took the 8pm tour on Oct 25th, which was the perfect time and setting for this historic ghost tour of Lititz. Our tour guide, Frank, was extremely knowledgeable on the background of the Moravian people and the history of their settlement in Lititz. Through the stories of the bygone residents of the town, we learned the role of the Moravian people and their buildings in the support of the Continental Army during the Rev War. Our guide did an excellent job explaining the historic relevance of the points on the tour and gave a captivating account of reported paranormal activity in these buildings.
Kristin R — Google review
Staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We ended up taking the walking tour, which was very informative. Highly recommend stopping by and taking the tour!
Christopher J — Google review
We really enjoyed our Ghost Tour. Our tour guide was very friendly, extremely informative, had a great sense of humor and answered all of our questions. He was very patient with us and allowed us to ask questions. He pointed out many interesting, fun, and sometimes “scary” facts during our Ghost Tour of Lititz. Plus, he was on time which was appreciated. He’s a very knowledgeable tour guide. (5 out of 5 stars)!!!
David T — Google review
My wife and I went on the Johannes Mueller home tour 2 days ago. Sheryl was our guide, and she was wonderful! She spent longer than usual going into details of the home. We had been in the area 3 days, and this was our last thing to see. We were not disappointed in any way! This home is a MUST SEE for anyone who enjoys our country's history. I promise, you will not be sorry you went!

The congregation's historic church, dating back to 1749 and featuring prophetic architecture, is open for tours. My wife and I have been coming to the Christmas Eve service for several years here: it’s a beautiful service. They sing some songs in German to honor their heritage during the service The people are wonderful, the pastors are eloquent and passionate. This service is truly a work of art!

I grew up in lititz and never came here before. We attended the Easter sunrise service. It was an awesome experience! It starts in the church, and everybody is escorted out to the graveyard with a brass band where everyone has the chance to honor those lost in the past year.

Beautiful sanctuary and campus with a great deal of history, located in an idyllic community . Great parking with a very hospitable congregation that provides a warm and pleasant setting for worship.

It's a beautiful church. Inside and out. I was there for their love feast at Christmas and it was quite worth it
Brian S — Google review
Both the church and the museum have reopened for tours, by appointment and by chance. I called for an appointment and another four people ended up joining the tour on that day. The tour guide is very knowledgeable about both the town and the church and I felt so well taken care of when he asked how much time I had for the tour. Highlights of the tour include the 110-point star and the corpse house. Well worth the time.
Yi N — Google review
Lititz is a wonderful little town with a strong Moravian influence. Go to town ready to purchase very nice things and tasty foods (after all, Moravians were noted as being great shopkeepers & tavern-keepers & artists &...). Worth a trip and a stay.
Zoots — Google review
This church has some of the kindest, friendliest and most helpful parishioners you could hope to find. My husband and I were traveling and stopped by to see the church and obtain tickets to the Christmas Candlelight Lovefeast (just beautiful). Everyone we met, from Security to the Office and Gift Shop staff to the Sexton and his absolutely WONDERFUL parents, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. If you're looking for the spirit of Christmas, it's right here!

Wolf Sanctuary of PA

Wildlife refuge
Nature & Parks
Nestled in the tranquil woodlands of northern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Wolf Sanctuary of PA is a family-owned refuge offering guided tours and special events like Full Moon nights. Spanning over 80 acres, this sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to observe wolves and wolf-dogs in their natural habitat while serving as an educational center for wildlife conservation. Visitors can sign up for guided tours to learn more about these majestic creatures and enjoy the serene surroundings.
The guided tour was a fantastic experience. Our guide Kristen was extremely knowledgeable not only about wolves in general but also the back story of each individual wolf. This is a forever home for these wolves and most definitely not a zoo.
Elizabeth H — Google review
We went for our dad's 75th birthday on a full moon night. I would not recommend taking your older loved ones here. Hilly, gravel trails are what you walk on. We loved the enthusiasm and knowledge of the volunteers. We hated that more tickets were sold than expected (which we know helps the wolves) and we didn't get the small group tour to learn. The wolves are majestic and their howling beautiful. We did not get to see the entire sanctuary because there was not enough volunteers, that made the trails clogged with too many people. We took chairs and carried them. That sucked. You DO NOT NEED CHAIRS. There are benches and a fire pit by the gift store at the end of everything. My suggestion: bypass the moon nights and go when you can score a small group tour of the ENTIRE facility. We were thankful for all the knowledge the pony-tailed volunteer dropped on our large group of about 100 people. We appreciated the no kids under 16 rule for the moon night's too. There's such a rich, wonderful history to this place and we wanted to hear all of it. 5 stars for the wolves. 5 stars for the volunteers. 1 star for over selling tickets. Bottom line: go for a day time visit with a small group.
Kris K — Google review
We actually had the pleasure of staying in one of 3 cottage's on the property. We stayed in the Paymaster's Offfice. It was an adorable cozy place that had a gas fireplace, a large air jet soaking tub, kitchenette that included a coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, cook top with two burners, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Breakfast is included with your stay and was delivered to the cottage by Maggie. Also included is a tour of the wolves. In the early morning hours, we had the pleasure of hearing a symphony of wolves. What a beautiful way to wake up. Everyone should experience it at least once. They take great care for these beautiful creatures. Our tour guide Michelle was very nice and knowledgeable about every wolf on the property. They all have a story to be told. I highly recommend going in the fall when the wolves are more active due to the cooler weather.
Alma W — Google review
I loved my visit to the Wolf sanctuary. The volunteer was awesome and he worked there for over 20 years volunteering, extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I will certainly be going back when all the leaves are down so you can have complete full visual of the wolves. The grounds are pristine and well kept. Can you tell I loved it there?
MomMom M — Google review
We did the full moon night walk. The wolves were on and off active. We learned a lot from the guides. I wish you were able to know the entertainment before booking. There was a poet our night and not live music.
Chris H — Google review
This is a really interesting place to visit. I would recommend it! It is an experience you will remember for a long time. You get to see them up close and personal. How they interact with each other and the guide does a great job explaining anything you want to know about them. You will find it educational and entertaining with guided public and private tours. Book ahead when they have limited availability. They also have a gift shop if you want a souvenir.
Dragonfly — Google review
Had a private tour with Denny this weekend and it was awesome. We got to see and learn about many of the wolves and their back stories. I would 100% recommend making the trip.
Jessica W — Google review
This place is incredible. The tour guides are incredibly knowledgeable, the wolves are respected and intentionally cared for, 1.5 hour out from Philly - worth the drive. Will visit again. Close to Shady Maple if you want some good food after your visit

Very nice bridge..but kind of dangerous. When going either direction thru it ..it has blind spots for on coming cars. We had someone almost hit us head on coming out of the one car at a time bridge.

Cute for what it is. Cars did drive by a little fast but I'm sure locals are used to it.

Dave H — Google review
The Erb family is one of the old-stock families of Lancaster County. Jacob came with his father from Switzerland in the year 1728, when four years of age, and resided at an early day near Hammer Creek, in Warwick township. About the year 1782 he removed to what is now Clay village, in Clay township, where he purchased five or six hundred acres of land, including the mill privileges at that point, and made a permanent settlement. He operated at Clay, and another one a little higher up, on Middle Creek, besides engaging in the arduous duties of pioneer agriculture. In religious affairs he belonged to the Mennonite persuasion until the breaking out of the Revolutionary war; but at that time feeling that the non-resistant principles of the society were detrimental to the preservation of the essential liberties of the people, he withdrew from the connection and warmly supported the struggle for national independence. After the close of the war he represented his district in the Legislature of the State. He was possessed of a deep reflective mind, good judgement, and a progressive spirit. He died in 1810, at the advanced age of 83 years. His wife bore him two sons and several daughters. The names of the former were John and Christian. The latter occupied the old family seat in Warwick during his life-time, and his descendants are still to be found in that locality. - Biographical Sketches taken from History of Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Franklin Ellis and Samuel Evans (1883)

Stopped in for breakfast on Sunday & they were hopping but seated very fast. I really enjoyed my spicy bloody mary (though the celery stick needs scaled back🤣 and our waitress agreed!). I had the creamed chipped beef over toast and it had such great flavor and not overly salty. My hubby had the stewed tomato special which was stewed tomatoes over eggs & home fries and the taste was amazing!!!! Put my fork in it more than once!!! My bestie had the avocado toast which was delicious but so much, she only finished half. All very good and great staff!

It was a true delight to visit this place twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. The coffee is spectacular. I got the pumpkin latte (hot) and the Steak salad. The Gyro Omlette didn't disappoint either. They offer gf bread! I highly recommend this place for any dining experience. The atmosphere is great and every room is different!

Decided to stop in for dinner while driving through the area, and we were not disappointed. The server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the seasonal mushroom ravioli, and it was delicious. I also highly recommend their lattes (I had the brown sugar).

Like a bar when you come in but not... I've been here a few times but not really sure what that entrance is supposed to be but gives the whole experience a nice vibe. Food is excellent here. I've tried a number of menus items and have not been disappointed. So whatever your interest, it's going to be tasty. The new mountain smoke burger, I requested the jam on the side. It was a nice flavor thick blue berry jam. Waitresses are very pleasant. My number one is the coffee. Has a great flavor. Top 5 of all time coffee I have had the pleasure to meet.

We decided to go to movie at Penn Cinema in Lititz with a deal offer we purchased through Clipp App , where you can select offers from dining , fun etc. for a lower amount and get more on the purchase . 👍🏻 In this deal we purchased movie tickets @ $16 for 2 tickets for $32 value . We also found an offer for Brickerville House Restaurant $10 for $20 in value. So we used both on same day . First time at this restaurant . We both enjoyed our food we choose and had no issues . Atmosphere was very nice more traditional setting as well as food. There was a lot to choose from on menu and they do have specials on the menu for certain day’s. Service was great ! We would suggest trying the Brickerville House Restaurant for a good meal . 🤩 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cafe
Tomato Pie Cafe is a charming eatery located in Lititz, across from the historic Lititz Springs Park and Wilbur Chocolate Factory. The cafe offers a delightful breakfast and lunch menu, featuring their signature tomato pie made with fresh red tomatoes. With an ambiance that captures the swing and big band era, Tomato Pie Cafe seamlessly blends quaint charm with contemporary vibes. Their outdoor patio is pet-friendly, making it a perfect spot to enjoy gourmet coffee and delectable dishes.
We were on the hunt for a reliable breakfast restaurant in downtown Lititz, and we were delighted by Tomato Pie Cafe! We came around 10:30 on a Sunday and were seated immediately. The cafe has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere and a unique menu (with additional seasonal offerings). We got one sweet dish and one savory, and both were equally delicious! We will definitely back to explore more menu items at Tomato Pie Cafe!

We drove to Lititz to try the famous tomato pie! The cozy ambiance added to the experience. We tried their tomato pie meal with carrot fries and herbed scones along with mango smoothie. The food was delicious and had good portions with reasonable pricing, bonus it’s vegetarian-friendly too! A perfect spot to grab a satisfying meal in a warm and welcoming setting.

Great location right in the middle of town, nice little breakfast and lunch menu with seasonal options. We had the Summer Berry Salad, the Cilantro Lime Bowl w/ Chicken, and side of the Rosemary Potatoes. Everything was very flavorful but ended up having to go out to eat after. We were going to order a tomato pie (which you do not see that on very many menus), but everyone was trying to finish up for the day. The fogged tea was perfect! Thanks for having us..

A nice surprise mid-afternoon. First time visiting Lititz PA and first time here. Great small town country vibe with everything you’d expect from any big city eatery. Cold brew was excellent as was the pumpkin latte (not too sweet like many from the brand name coffee houses we know). Menu was extensive with many options from salad to bowls to paninis and everything in between. We had a delicious and very very fresh spinach artichoke with creamy ricotta over spaghetti squash. Very different. We loved it. The help was attentive and the place was clean. They have a cute porch where you can sit and eat or sip your coffee. It was decorated in a festive fall vibe which was perfect fur this time of year. While we didn’t try their famous tomato pie we were very happy with our choices.

One of my wife and my favorite breakfast spots when we vacation in Lititz. The vibe is super cool and laid back, it’s really nice inside and the staff are always great here. On our stay this last week I’ve had the pancakes which were great, the sausage egg wrap which was nice, and the classic breakfast which was great as well. The bacon is also done perfectly the two times I ordered it. My wife generally gets the classic breakfast as well, and for the first time tried the squash side and absolutely loved it, it’s baked, then tossed on the griddle with a little bit of sugar. She also loves the tea here over anywhere else in town.

First, the tomato pie: Light flaky crust holding in generous amounts of cheese on top of nicely seasoned diced tomatoes. Like the perfect quiche sitting on top of warm Bruschetta. I've really had nothing like it and was not what I expected even after reading all reviews. This is by no means anything resembling a pizza and noone should ever refer to any other pizza as a 'pie' ever again. I got the double and brought one home. The carrot fries had sea salt and you are given a small amount of ranch with them. They were good on their own with sea salt, but to make them great, you needed the ranch. The rest of the table got handhelds. They were slightly small for the price and came with chips or plain greens. They were ok, but nothing special. If we go back, we could get an entree or one of the specials. We were trying to stay on the cheaper side. Looking at other tables, they looked very good. They had a nice selection of homemade deserts. We liked the s'mores cookie and the chocolate peanut butter pie. Overall, we spent a little over $20 a person. The atmosphere is cozy with a classic cafe feel. It had a wrap around porch with outdoor seating. If it's crowded, it will get loud since there is nothing to dampen the sound. It's surrounded by the classic main street USA like town of Lititz. There is a large park across the street that often hosts festivals in the warmer months.

whoa! thats one reaaally good tomato pie! ive never tried one before so this was a great treat! crust was so good and the tomatoes were fresh and bursting with flavor. So glad we tried their signature dish! Their cookie butter was good but a bit too sweet for me. Like sugary sweet. Ham, mushroom and cheese omelette was okay. However service was great! all the staff we encountered were nice and pleasant. Parking is kinda hard but luckily we came on an early saturday morning so the bank across was closed and the hostess mentioned we can just park there on their lot which we did lol. Inside was cozy, like going into a historic house (which it probably was idk lol). The restroom was pretty small and tight fyi.

if i could give 10 stars i would. i had been waiting to try this place for almost a decade but was never in the area before they closed. it was worth the wait! highly recommend the pumpkin chai, tastes like real pumpkin not artificial syrup. also recommend the chipotle chicken and the spinach artichoke spaghetti squash. the antique and old world vibe inside is timeless. the server was very attentive and personable. can't wait to come back!

The Bulls Head Public House is a British pub that offers a great selection of beers and delicious food. The paneling and chandeliers give the pub an intimate feel, and the menu has a wide variety of items, making it the perfect place to go for a quick lunch or dinner.
Went to Bulls Head for the first time. You seat yourself and go to either bar to order food and drinks. It was the perfect St. Patty's day stop. The bartender was super helpful and patient. The drink/beer selection was fantastic! The food came out quickly and was delicious! I'll definitely be back!

A very cool pub. They say it's modeled on English Pubs. Having been in many English and Irish pubs I wouldn't disagree. You'll want to go more than once because there's a lot of great stuff on the menu I won't find elsewhere in this area.
Don M — Google review
My husband and I ate at the Bulls Head Public House while staying in Lititz. We love going to English/Irish pubs and this one definitely did not disappoint. We ate in the dining room, as it was close to the end of the evening and it was much quieter. The pub bar side was busy and had a lively, fun atmosphere. We started with the scotch egg and the mushroom toast for our appetizers. The scotch egg was really good--a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage and Panko bread crumbs and then deep-fried---it's been a favorite of ours since we first ate it in London! This one was a really good one. But...the mushroom toast was amazing!! It had three types of mushrooms on garlic toast with sea salt--it was SO good!! We chose two types of pies for our entrees--the chicken & leek pie and the fisherman's pie. Both of those were new to us and once again, they were delicious! The fisherman's pie had two types of fish and shrimp covered in cheddar mashed potatoes and then baked. The chicken & leek pie had tons of chicken with a flaky puff pastry crust. We were definitely happy campers! We were too full for dessert, but we couldn't pass up sticky toffee pudding (another favorite from England) so we got it to go. If you have never tried sticky toffee pudding, this would be a great place for your first experience with that dessert!! We would definitely recommend the Bulls Head Public House if you are in Lititz! You will not be disappointed.

I’ve gone here twice in the last week; so delicious! No table service, so you order at the bar, like in a traditional British pub. I would highly recommend the tomato and burrata appetizer, the chicken and leek pie entree, and the sticky toffee pudding dessert!

While waiting for our food another group came in. As they sat down one gentleman said he never had a bad meal there. I believe it! We had the fish and chips and shepherds pie. Our meals arrived hot! and nicely presented but most importantly each dish was delicious. Thank you for making my birthday lunch a real treat!
Kathryn G — Google review
Such a cozy restaurant/bar. When you walk in, don’t wait to be seated, grab any empty table you see! Scotch egg is super good and the double portion of fish and chips was big enough to split. Staff was efficient and friendly. Wasted no time in explaining that we picked our own seats and ordered at the bar, but not in an annoyed way, even though I’m sure they have to explain that at least a couple of times an hour. 😏 Definitely a must stop in Lititz.

British-style pub where you seat yourself and order from the bar. Surprised us, being our first time there, but the bartenders were kind and patient and walked us thru the process. Food was delicious!! Atmosphere was cozy. We were there at half past noon on a Sunday and it was packed. We snagged a table by the window and enjoyed a great meal! Bulls Head fries- a must-try. Highly recommend it here. We will be back.
Regina H — Google review
Traditional English style pub. There is no wait staff. You must order you food and drinks at the bar and they give you a number and a food runner will bring it to your table. If you want another drink you must return to the bar. This system work as it was very busy when we were there but our food came out quickly. The bartender pours pints quite fast so there is no delay getting a second or third. The beer selection is one of the best I've seen.

Nestled in the charming town of Lititz, Appalachian Brewing Company is a delightful destination for beer enthusiasts and casual diners alike. This open and airy brewery boasts an impressive selection of housemade beers, including their flagship Water Gap Wheat Ale and Hoppy Trails IPA, alongside seasonal specialties that keep the menu fresh. Not just for adults, they also craft delicious non-alcoholic sodas like root beer and ginger beer.
Our server was very sweet and social. It was clean inside, and not too loud at this time of year. We weren’t too hungry and got root beer, ginger beer, pierogies, a pretzel, and fried pickles. Nothing wrong with any of them, and everyone enjoyed everything. Their Appalachian root beer was smoother than typical root beer and very good. Overall a great experience :) would come back!

Met 3 other friends for lunch today. At first the hostess seated us at a high top table adjoining another table of 6 ppl. We were not asked if we wanted high or low table. I asked the hostess if we could move tables because the table aside off was loud and I couldn't hear the person across from me. We moved to a low top table which 1 of my friends preferred. 1 friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I ordered the po boy and another ordered a burger. Our sandwiches came with fries or chips. Another friend ordered the mile high meatloaf which came with gravy and makes potatoes. 1 friend and I also ordered a beer. We all seemed pleased with our food exempt the peppers in the meatloaf. The atmosphere is rustic timber inside, cozy environment.

These guys at ABC put out a nice menu and deliver it to your table in the form of really good food and beverages. We love their ribs and burgers and always try their specials. It’s always fresh and always handcrafted, and always hot! The root beer is crazy good! It gets really noisy and busy on the weekends, but in a good way. They have never let our family down. Have good food and good fun at the Appalachian Brewing Company!

This really is a nice local brewery with a relaxed and casual ambience. The service is excellent, attentive, prompt, and not rushed at all. Their brew selection is plentiful and great. Cocktail selection, even though limited, is wonderful - they do make stiff drinks! The food, particularly their sandwiches that we tried, were hot, flavorful, and perfect. This definitely is a nice place to grab a relaxed meal in Lititz. Would certainly be coming back.

Don’t come if you have a food allergy- they won’t accommodate!!! I’m a “mugger”… we are here at least 3 out of 4 weeks- We are often getting apps- tonight- they RAN OUT of MY first choice!!!! Then in the “replacement” -half the apps have peppers- I’m horribly allergic. I get physically ill. Does the manager, “Josie” care? NO- instead of coming to have the discussion, she sent our poor waitress over to our table. This 20something “manager” (Josie) says I can instead settle for a smaller app/same price instead of accommodating. (6 halves of egg rolls- 4 of them have peppers- I requested to have all without- she said NO.) And when I finally order- see the picture of the “chicken wing ish” they gave me!!!! Last year as a “mugger” until they get a manager that doesn’t curse at their staff - yes- we witnessed this twice from this “manager” and instead, she punishes the customers….

In Lititz, the ABC is well run, has a great staff, and the food and beverages are awesome. It might not be a long the main road, but it's worth the effort to walk or drive there. The building it is in has great character, and one can eat outside on a nice day or enjoy a table in the generous sized dining area. And they do really good takeout. If you're looking for a meal to go, don't worry about not getting a food portion for your money.

Cannot say enough great things about this lovely inn. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Lititz. They have a parking lot, which is such a plus as parking is hard to find. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they really go above and beyond to make your stay a great experience. The rooms are really comfortable and clean. The restaurant and pub are great, really good food. No reason to stay anywhere else when visiting this wonderful town!!

As a Lititz native, I’ve cherished countless events at Lititz Springs Inn, and our intimate wedding reception for 16 in the Regency Room was absolutely perfect. Jeff, the coordinator, was incredible, anticipating every need and seamlessly managing last-minute changes. Our server, Mark, delivered warm, attentive, and formal service that made our day truly special. The food and drinks were delicious, and the elegant room created the ideal atmosphere for our celebration. Thank you for hosting our best day, so far

Had my wedding at Lititz Springs Inn on Saturday 10-25-25 and everything was perfect! It was the most magical day and the staff was amazing!! Jeff was awesome and never tried to up sell or force anything on us, allowing us to comfortably make our own decisions for our big day. The food was amazing and the venue was beautiful—required minimal decoration as the place already looked amazing! We had our ceremony and reception there. I’ll admit I was nervous how it would work out but it was seamless. These people know exactly what they are doing! If you are looking for a budget friendly venue for your big day and a team of people who genuinely care about what YOU want, this is the place. PS- there is a park walking distance that has great photo opportunities! And the town is beautiful with plenty of amenities near by. Check out rothsville acres flower patch for your flowers, you won’t regret it!

Came here about 8 years ago and was excited to come back bc it was a great experience. This time, however, was sorely lacking. We were seated directly in front of the loud music- not ideal but that’s a preference thing so neither here nor there. We were not greeted at all after being seated and when the neighboring waitress tried to help out with our drink orders they were mixed up. In the meantime several servers passed by our table and not one stopped to greet us. Eventually after an awkwardly long amount of time, we went to the hostess and let them know we were leaving. We were excited to come back but wow- this place changed and not for the better. Save your money, time and get a better experience somewhere else.

We went to the pub not the Inn. Typical Pub style service: order at the bar, then food is delived to the table. Everything was delicious; especially the deconstructed cheesecake which didn't last long enough to get a good picture! The atmosphere is upscale and comfortable. We went there for a low-key birthday celebration which ended with a walk around town checking out the many shops.

We had our wedding at the Lititz Springs Inn this July and the experience was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is charming, historic, and full of character…perfect for creating a warm and romantic atmosphere. A special shoutout to Jeff the coordinator of events at the Inn! He went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, and his calm, organized presence made the entire day run smoothly. He truly made us feel supported and stress-free throughout the entire planning process and on the big day itself. From the special tomato bisque delivery at the event itself to following me around with an umbrella for pictures and carrying flowers…he’s literally the best. Katie was also great with night of coordinating. The evening was so smooth. Our guests raved about the ambiance, food, and friendly staff. If you’re looking for a beautiful, unique, and well-run venue in the heart of Lititz, we couldn’t recommend the Lititz Springs Inn more! -Meghan and Connor

I love buffets that are piping hot- and above all, clean, fresh, and appetizing! Great selections, chicken vegetable or corn vegetable soup; salad and dessert. Rotisserie chicken, ham, meatloaf. Awesome lima beans in a semi-sweet light tomato sauce and fresh cut green beans and carrots. The brown gravy for the filling (stuffing) and mashed potatoes is the absolutely best tasting surprise that made the meal 5 star! The atmosphere is charming; teal and green decor- very clean. The wonderful staff is warm, attentive and helpful about any ingredients if you need further information. I appreciated the opportunity to dine here and will make it a regular stop for lunch whenever I can get the chance... I can't believe how great the rice pudding and flan taste. Perfection!

First time coming here (June 19, 2023) and the food is incredible! Decided to go with the quesadilla, which was spectacular. It's packed with cheese, chicken, onion, tomatoes. My partner got their weekly special of A1 burger, which was excellent. Our waitress was very kind as well. The only downfall I see is that the buffet is a bit on the smaller side. But we will 100% be coming back!

Stopped in for the first time Monday after Easter. Stayed local at a hotel in Lititz and wanted Penn Dutch cuisine. Didn't want to drive 30+ mins at the bigger known restaurants so we tried it. Sadly it was the last Monday they will be open due to staffing and they did not offer their buffet. However we ordered entre from the menu. It didn't disappoint. Had the meatloaf and the chicken croquets. Both were fantastic. The waitress was very nice and polite. The entre size was huge at such a reasonable price. So good we came back the next day for an early dinner. Buffet selection is small compared to other smorgasbords. Again very delish. Beef tips, ham, roasted chicken, salsbury steaks, and a ton of side options. The beef tips were the favorite.

Based on 2 visits a week apart: yeah. Um. Lots of food. Senior discount. Friendly folks. Everyone eating was well over retirement. One server was very attentive, the other simply vanished. First food- fish: good enough. Second visit - pot roast: gravy was glue, the soup was glue, the mashed potatoes were solid glue. Too much cornstarch? Not sure- but pretty awful. Will I eat here again ...maybe...but with very careful.ordering. Note: tea is served as a cup of hot water and a bag. That won't make tea....only brown water.

We visited Knight and Day Diner after seeing a movie and were very pleased. This place was very full but they can accommodate a lot of customers. No wait time , seated us upon arriving. Service was great ! and a lot to choose from their menu. Ordered a Chopped Sirloin which included filling / gravy , you got soup or salad , choose chicken soup along with 2 sides - corn nuggets and fries . Portion size was generous , ended up taking home food not able to eat. Food was delicious ! Friendly servers and no issues with anything. Four of us enjoyed our time at Scooter’s. Brandy was very attentive, accommodating, and friendly. Commenting on my order… Perhaps because the waitress wrote her name on our cocktail napkins, I took the suggestion and ordered a brandy. It was a great pair with the 8oz cheeseburger with Swiss cheese and French fries. The food was served hot and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the excellent flavor of the black angus burger. It came with lettuce, next time I’ll ask for some tomato, onion, and pickle on it to make a very tasty sandwich! I was particularly impressed with the Salted Caramel Crumb Cake. I highly recommend it. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Been wanting to try this place for a long time: finally did. The menu isn’t the greatest: i was having a hard time deciding what to get. I asked if lettuce tomato and onion come on the cheeseburgers as that’s standard usually. I was told they can put it on for extra.. so I got a buffalo chicken sandwich.. which was just a fried chicken breast… zero hot sauce… oh, and no pickles or tomatoes. I asked for a drink on their menu only for the server to come back and tell me they were out of it… the whole experience was off putting. The nachos looked, tasted and felt like I made them when I was a teenager. The diced Avocado made it pretty but was more a bandaid.

FRENCH ONION SOUP appetizer: good salty flavor, not enough melted cheese for my liking... SALMON (with lime?) was thinner than expected but tasty... MARYLAND CRABCAKE WAS AWESOME! buttery and full of crab - did not taste any fillers. (ORANGE) SALAD DRESSING WAS AWESOME! The meal cost $44, including water & 1 soft drink - another $10 for the tip... I had asked our server for a menu I could take with me, as I usually do - she told me "it is online," OTHERWISE - I would know the proper dish names!

I was greeted and couldn’t hear what was said to me when being walked to my table. I realized after the lady asked “table or booth?” I said “oh, booth” and that seemed to upset her as she put our menus down and walked away. As far as The service goes, it needs work. I had water and didn’t get a refill for 20 minutes. We watched other receive complimentary bread like it’s a normal thing but we weren’t asked if we want any. Refills took forever. the jalapeño honey chicken sandwich wasn’t bad. It was okay. Their fries are good. The Italian sub had too much oil but was decent. Just small. We also got the GOAT pizza and that was great. Lots of flavor with a crispy but airy crust

9 person retirement party at noon on 6/23/25. Only 3 other tables of 2 when we arrived. Service was good first 15 minutes but went downhill quickly once food arrived. Two bottles of ketchup arrived with meals, virtually empty. After asking for more ketchup two more bottles arrived with the waitress apologizing that they too were almost empty. It was 95 degrees outside and in the low 80s and humid at the table. Waitress apologized for the room temperature but there was nothing she could do. The double doors were propped opened to the airport lobby, maybe to draw AC from the airport into the restaurant. Best part of the experience was leaving and hitting the cool air as we went through the double doors into the airport lobby. Thanks for a retirement party experience I won’t forget.

Food was good. Service was good. A little pricey. It was a nice day, we sat outside and watched planes take off, so that was a different type of dining experience.
Wanderlust — Google review
Our first visit here was underwhelming. We live locally and looking forward to a nice evening sitting outside and enjoying the view of the airplanes. The service was terribly slow and we didn’t get napkins, salt & pepper or silverware until well into our appetizer and had to flag the waiter down. I asked for no garlic or seasoning on my chicken and I was served a heavily seasoned chicken breast :/ The pretzel bites were really tasty! They lightly fry them which gives them a nice flavor and texture. For atmosphere- The view of the planes was blocked by fuel trucks and the patio seating was somewhat in disarray and tables were dirty. All in all I think they could do a better job with service, food and atmosphere.

We had an event for realty professionals here mid week. Our server was attentive to our 15 guests needs. As the owner of A&M Friendly Movers I know how hard it is to balance a large party. The staff did is seamlessly. The food was top notch amd Noone had an empty glass for teh almost 3 hours we were there.
Thomas O — Google review
Josh was very friendly and tried to be helpful when we asked if something could be done with turning down th AC. He tried to help but it remained uncomfortable and cold at our table. My Caesar salad and clams were very good. The 2 orders of spaghetti and meatballs for the other 2 guests were disappointing in that there were 4 meatballs and a very small portion of spaghetti . This was not up to the positive level of experience at our previous dining there. More attention needed to the comfort of your guests and the temperature of the restaurant. And also some additional quality control of plating a serving of spaghetti that is not smaller than size of 4 meatballs.

Kōle Chophouse

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Lititz, Blackworth is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This upscale eatery specializes in wood-fired cuisine, showcasing local ingredients cooked over an open flame. Guests can indulge in inventive cocktails while enjoying dishes like oven-roasted carrots and arugula salad paired with fine wines. As Blackworth prepares for renovations this May, it remains committed to inspiring diners with its unique approach to food and atmosphere.
My recent dining experience at Kōle Chophouse was nothing short of spectacular, deserving every bit of a five-star rating. From the moment we entered the elegant establishment, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, thanks to our attentive server, Daniel. His impeccable recommendations and service added a personalized touch that made us feel truly valued throughout our meal. The culinary genius of Chef Quincy shone brightly as he curated an exquisite menu that tantalized our taste buds. We began our gastronomic journey with the remarkable wedge salad, a vibrant dish bursting with freshness and drizzled with a perfectly balanced dressing that set the stage for what was to come. Following this, the crab cakes arrived, and they were a revelation—crispy on the outside and decadently flavorful within, showcasing the quality of ingredients used. For our main courses, I indulged in the luxurious Japanese Wagyu, a masterpiece cooked to absolute perfection over imported ovens fueled by live flames. Each bite was a melt-in-your-mouth experience, rich in flavor and decadence. Meanwhile, my dining companion opted for the Delmonico steak, which was equally impressive—tender, juicy, and expertly seasoned, paired splendidly with their addictive tallow fries that were crisp and golden. One of the standout highlights of the evening was the lobster, which was finished with a tantalizing chili-lime compound butter. This unique preparation added a delightful zest, enhancing the natural sweetness of the lobster and creating a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. To conclude our extraordinary meal, we were treated to a divine dessert: a velvety white chocolate mousse that was artfully paired with a fresh raspberry coulis. The dish was elevated further with a delicate drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of sea salt, and a generous topping of toasted macadamia nuts, adding a delightful crunch to each spoonful. In summary, Kōle Chophouse is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its exceptional service, masterful dishes, and an inviting atmosphere, I eagerly anticipate my next visit to savor more of Chef Quincy’s recommendations.

Great food, service, and atmosphere! The food was very good. We got an appetizer of the wagyu, and it was so tender and flavorful. We both got steak dishes, both of which were delicious. And the white chocolate dessert was so unique, creamy, and a standout! Friendly service, and they even gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary.

Loved this very welcoming restaurant in our hotel. Beautifully appointed w very friendly staff and outstanding drinks and food! We enjoyed afternoon drinks and great conversation w Sal at the bar for afternoon drinks, followed by dinner in the dining area where we celebrated our anniversary w server Madelyn. She even brought us a complimentary dessert w a festive sparkler on it! Though we didn’t meet the kitchen staff - someone did a fabulous job w the chili-lime lobster and Delmonico steak as well! You made our Anniversary visit very special and we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who finds themselves in Lititz for ANY reason!

Amazing dinner. Delicious steaks and lobster. And Jenn C our server was on point. Variety of cocktails and the bar tender made a cold brew old fashioned.

High quality authentic steakhouse with a comfortable upscale vibe and top notch service. Food is remarkable and the menus has some creative items as well as a variety of choice cuts. Chef’s are highly skilled and service was on point. Felt welcomed and appreciated!

Customer service was good from the start when Francisco was getting my wife & I seats as we did not have a reservation. They were fully booked up for the night. But he managed to get us seats. However, a couple left the bar, so we sat there instead. The bartender, Sarah, provided good customer service as well. The food was amazing and nicely cut for our steak as we were having cravings for it. Drinks were amazing. Will be back.

Based on a previous wonderful experience 3 years ago, we were excited to come back to Kole. And we were NOT disappointed. What a wonderful restaurant. Marlena, our server, was so knowledgeable about the menu and had great suggestions. Manny made sure we never lacked for anything. And many, many kudos to the bartender. We shared the mixed olives and the charred avocado for appetizers. The aji-amarillo inside the avocado is silky and spicy and the perfect accompaniment to the avocado. We each had steaks, which were cooked to our exact tastes and enhanced with extra the extra charge we'd requested. We shared the tallow fries which were deliciously crispy. Our only mistake was getting two slices of the basque cheesecake - we could have easily split one but we braved on through and loved every bite. We don't get to Lititz often but when we do, we'll be back for sure. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Had our anniversary dinner there last night specifically came for the tomahawk steak which did not disappoint, our avocado appetizer was also amazing . We had reservations Wished service was faster took 30 mins to get our first drinks it was a busy night there yet we had to be at a comedy show in 2 hrs up the street . Suggestion maybe have staff bringing out waters until the server makes their rounds . But would highly recommend this place great food server was very knowledgeable in recommending the menu etc

Lehigh Valley International Airport

International airport
Airport
Lehigh Valley International Airport is a gem nestled in Pennsylvania, offering travelers a seamless experience from the moment they arrive. Easily accessible via the PA Turnpike and Route 22, this airport boasts both long-term and short-term parking options, ensuring convenience for all visitors. While it features several dining choices, exciting news is on the horizon with two new eateries set to open soon. The airport has undergone significant renovations aimed at enhancing passenger comfort.
This airport is absolutely fantastic! Dropping off and picking up passengers is a breeze. And the best part? When you're flying, you can say goodbye to those frustrating waits on the taxiway. It's smooth sailing all the way—what a thrill!

Lehigh Valley International airport is a really nice airport. They have long term and short term parking. This airport is very officiant. They have handicapped parking and bathrooms along with a few places to eat . Yes they could use a few more restaurants but I recently heard that two new Airport eateries are supposed to come to the area. 😊 The staff at this airport are very well trained at what they do and they seem friendly enough whenever I speak to anyone. I give this airport an 11 on an one to ten scale. A++++ experience.

It's a small airport, so there's good and bad. Lunes at TSA are normally short, and it's not a far walk to the gates. But there's only limited manning at the airline counters. United only flies a couple of flights a day, and they don't open the counter until two hours before a flight, and even then they aren't always prompt. But overall a pleasant experience. Better than most airports I've been to.
David F — Google review
Clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. Also the building was very clean inside out. Even the TSA was nice towards people that's a first.
The R — Google review
This airport is rated 3 stars due to its excellent service; however, some American Airlines staff who assist customers can be rude. I experienced this firsthand when I repeatedly told one staff member that her directions were not working. After the fifth time, she finally said, "OK," and went to the counter. If this employee had allowed me to go to the counter as requested, she would have saved me a lot of time. In life, time is our most valuable asset. The airport size wouldn’t be an issue even if more stores existed. The airport is nice, but American Airlines could benefit from retraining, particularly the greeters.

Wilmington Airport

Airport
Domestic airport
I recently flew with Avelo Airlines at Wilmington airport and had a genuinely great experience from start to finish. What impressed me most was how smooth and well-organized the boarding process was. Everything moved efficiently, with clear communication and no confusion or delays. It made the start of the trip feel calm and easy, which I really appreciated. Even more than that, the people working at Avelo made a lasting impression. Every employee I interacted with was kind, attentive, and clearly focused on making sure passengers felt comfortable and cared for. You could tell they genuinely enjoy helping people, and that kind of customer-first attitude goes a long way. It’s rare to find an airline that combines operational efficiency with such warm, personal service. That’s why I’ve already started recommending Avelo to friends and family. If you’re looking for a travel experience that’s both smooth and welcoming, I’d definitely suggest giving them a try. Thanks again to the Avelo team for making my flight such a positive one. I’ll be flying with you again soon!

Very small airport that as far as I can tell has one gate which you enter immediately after passing through security. Certainly much easier than any other airport I have been to as it shouldn’t take any more than 10 minutes from arrival to gate and that is stretching it. Don’t come hungry or expect a bar, but offers very convenient parking and tremendous ease without bells and whistles.

Very nice regional airport in the area. Easy accessible , nominal parking fee $10. Small sized cell phone lot , friendly staffs .
Prabha S — Google review
Been flying in and out of this airport for a few years now unfortunately. It is a chair and an airstrip and not much more than that. Avelo does an okay job with their ILG to TPA route. Only had one issue and I've flown that route probably 13-14 times. No food or bar so don't come hungry. They have a vending machine if you want chips, and a water fountain. The seating area can get cramped. You will have to step over and around people and bags. Pretty sure this is some kind of fire code violation. Their TSA workers are pretty consistently mean as hell. Not sure what their deal is, they are always unprofessional with an attitude. I'm not expecting white glove service here but common decency would be appreciated. Don't come more than 25 minutes before the door closes. You don't want to have to be here that long. Other regional airports throughout the country are way better. This airport needs development.

Total garbage. Not necessarily the fault of the airport ops, but still a total dump nonetheless. - The TSA checkpoint closes at 8pm, period. EVEN IF the flight is delayed til 11pm or later. That means that you’re sitting in the tiny terminal (without any food) for 3 hrs or more. We know this from firsthand experience. - There are vending machines and that’s it. No other food options. Very poor planning for their renovation. - This isn’t the fault of the airport, but (some of) the TSA workers here are rude, incompetent, and lack any social etiquette. - The airport ops guy I spoke with on the phone could not answer any questions intelligently and could only repeat what he was robotically programmed to say. No help there.

This airport needs some help... we experienced issues with both Avelo and the airport itself. Our afternoon flight was delayed until 830 pm, we arrive and there is barely enough seating. They're under construction right now which adds to the cramped space. To move around you're stepping over luggage and bodies. The flight staff itself - no complaints. The front staff and TSA were rude and slow considering we were the only flight there at that time. On our return flight, there is no signage to pay at the kiosk in the lobby...this meant everyone on the flight was paying at the SINGULAR exit gate (the other was broken). So even though I prepaid I had to wait in this line for 45 mins to leave the parking lot. The one gate working quickly became backed up but an attendant didn't come out until about 30 mins after we were sitting there. Overall, not worth the lower price of the larger airlines. Avelo also changed our flight time post purchase 3 times. I understand unexpected things happen but we ended up loosing out on a full day of work. Would only fly here / with this airline if you have nothing but time and endless patience.

Kind and energetic staff, clean, tiny, and well structured airport. I really like these small airports that take you less than 20 minutes to check in. I do wish the one terminal area was bigger since I like to walk around while waiting to board. I also like that you walk out to your plane instead of through an airlock. There's something that seems more "high end" about walking up to your plane. The one singular terminal has enough seating for a plane worth of people that has charging ports under the seats which is convenient. They don't have any shops, but there are vending machines if you want a drink and snack. Their bathroom is not very big but it's clean and that's more important. The staff is very friendly, upbeat, and fun. The man speaking over the intercom found out it was a little girl's 10th birthday and had the people sitting in the terminal sing happy birthday to her which was cute.

This was my first time at this airport. I used this airport as an alternative to Philadelphia because there was no non-stop's to Atlanta. No frills but safe. Very small seating area and no food choices. Paid parking is less than $10 a day.

Harrisburg International Airport

International airport
Airport
Harrisburg International Airport, located in Central Pennsylvania, offers free WiFi and flights to major U.S. cities and Canada. It is a convenient alternative to the smaller Lancaster Airport, with Philadelphia and Baltimore airports also nearby. Visitors appreciate the airport's efficiency and helpful staff, making it easy for passengers with disabilities or those needing assistance. The small size of the airport allows for quick check-ins and short walking distances to gates, as well as easy drop-offs and pick-ups.
I live in Lancaster and it’s a short 25 minute drive you can park and walk to the gate in minutes. So convenient. Parking is easy and affordable at a daily rate of $20. They have a great little massage store in the Terminal by the Delta Gate. Also to note they have a Phillips Seafood Restaurant and a Subway.

Small but very decent airport. Clean, well-organised, easy to navigate and kind, helpful staff. I first arrived at MDT in heavy snow and there was no problem with landing or infrastructure. Some shops on site, so you'll be good. It is connected to the city by public transport as well. Mostly domestic flights (Washington, Chicago, Denver, Dallas etc.) but for me it was more than enough.
Jędrzej R — Google review
Nice and convenient airport I use when I don't want to fly out of Baltimore/Washington. Easy to navigate and parking, ticketing, TSA and baggage claim are within a reasonable walk of each other. Not a lot in the way of dinning options but you won't go hungry. I do suggest if you are flying out on a high volume day such as Monday or a holiday, get here early as the security lines can build up.
Gil M — Google review
Great experience in the airport. However, the lighting and signage to/from long term parking is abysmal or nonexistent. That roundabout doesn’t help matters. Large clear signs and actual street lights are needed. As it is you feel like you’re driving to/from a backwater bumpkin facility.
Nick S — Google review
Arrived 1.5 hours before flight. Security is taking close to 45 minutes. Maybe longer. Be prepared for delays due to recent events.

Everything is good but the taxi service offered is terrible. Do not get a taxi here. Kenny, one of the taxi services, will charge you $25 as a minimum starting point even if your hotel is across the road. Kenny also does not offer receipts so you cannot get reimbursed if this is a corporate trip. Make sure you have a ride scheduled to pick you up and / or have access to Uber / Lyft. Do NOT use the taxi and everything will be great and you will be much happier.
Brad M — Google review
TSA here is the slowest and rudest bunch I have ever encountered in my experience. They do not even know their own policies. If a passenger states that they can not medically raise their arm for the xray, attitude about it is unnecessary. Just do what every other airport does and use the wand and swap. Otherwise this isn’t a bad little airport to fly in and out of.
