Outdoor Activities
Quiet Waters Park, located in Deerfield Beach, is a 427-acre county park offering a wide range of outdoor activities. Visitors can enjoy cable water-skiing at Ski Rixen USA, fishing, bike trails, basketball courts, and a campground. The park features seven miles of mountain bike trails and the Woofing Waters Dog Park & Marina. Families can also have fun at the Splash Adventure water park with slides and sprinklers to cool off in the Florida heat.
The water park was fun, especially for my toddler! It’s great for younger kids, though the water was a bit cold for my 1.5-year-old. The park is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of parking available. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a day out with little ones!
WeHeart ( — Google review
I went to Quiet Waters Park recently and really enjoyed it. The place has a nice mix of open spaces and shaded areas, which made it a relaxing spot to walk around. I liked that there were plenty of picnic spots and areas to just sit and enjoy the view. It felt peaceful without being too far from everything. I’d definitely come back, especially on a sunny weekend.

Very, very good Mountain Bike trails for South Florida. The trail team but in some great work. Trails are Cross-Country type trails but good fun. The trails also drain well when it rains.
John C — Google review
The MTB trail at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach is a hidden gem for mountain biking enthusiasts of all levels. It offers a mix of challenging climbs, fast descents, and technical sections, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced riders. The well-maintained trails wind through scenic surroundings, including wooded areas and lakes, creating an immersive outdoor experience. The park also features ample parking, clean facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush or just a fun day on two wheels, this trail is a must-visit!

Went to Saigon Night Market on the last night after the rain fall and had a great date night with my partner.
Aaliyah G — Google review
Our family of four went out in a paddle boat for almost two hours on a Saturday.. The boat park area is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, for which the park jas a general admission charge of $3.00 per car; otherwise, during the week, admission is free. We got two hours on the "big lake" for $15.00. What a deal! Mom and adult son did the foot pedalling and Dad and adult daughter sitting Im the back enjoying the view. And what sights and smells: a three foot colorful lizard , a bicycle course with wild twists and turns, bicycle enthusiastic riders, and people in pavilions cooking up wonderful smelling food.
John K — Google review
Very nice park to relax and be nature- Peaceful views 🙏✨❤️

The Florida Renaissance Festival is one of the festivals this beautiful park hosts. It happens every year and it is fun. This park unlike other parks does a big renaissance fair. It is so cool. People dress up in costumes. It is something worth checking out. It is a family friendly event with good foods, shows, music, performers, vendors and rides. I had a great time. This is a big park and easy to find. The staff is pretty friendly. It has plenty of parking all around and activities for everyone. I like the walking trail. I found it nice. I have always enjoyed my time here

Sights & Landmarks
The Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier is a popular spot for fishing and sightseeing, stretching nearly 1000 feet into the ocean. Recently renovated, it offers rod rentals, fresh and frozen bait, accessories, and souvenirs at the pier shop. Visitors can enjoy strolling along the boardwalk for picturesque views of the coast or the Atlantic Ocean. The pier is frequented by fishermen seeking a catch as well as tourists taking in the scenic beauty.
IG: TRAVELWITHARCHER86 Endless memories that I would never trade. Stunning views, fantastic energy,family-friendly, and simply one of my favorite locations. As you can see, I have posted one of my favorite events, the "Silent Piano Concert" by Murray from MINDTRAVEL. His events are without question some of the most emotional, musically stunning, visually gorgeous, and incredibly connecting style events.

We went there twice. First me and my new besties..oh my storm.came and we went home. So the next week end me and my family went there early morning ang it's beautiful. We will get back there again..beach is really relaxing.

Live in Deerfield Beach for 4 years and I’ve only been to the beach once! Woke up one morning and decided to catch the sunrise. How beautiful are those photos at 7am on a cloudy morning from the beach next to the pier?! I know it wasn’t directly ON the pier but just the site of such a structure is a monumental staple in Deerfield Beach and I caught the essence of its beauty! How amazing are these iPhone photos?!
Cassandra P — Google review
Beautiful spot to visit! The Deerfield International Pier is a great place to watch the sunrise — absolutely stunning views over the ocean. After the renovation, everything looks so clean, neat, and well-maintained. It’s the perfect place to relax, take a walk, or just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere by the water.
Jana C — Google review
Awesome beach to visit in Broward county! The beach is pretty clean and the lifeguards do a great job. Tons of good spots to check out such as restaurants and bars that are nearby.
Phelipe A — Google review
I love the Deerfield Beach Pier! You'll find it at the very end of Hillsboro Blvd and Ocean Drive. Surrounded by many sports bars, restaurants and shoppes, there's always something to do. Take a nice long walk on the 1 mile marked path heading south or take a stroll on the newly opened pier, it's free for now. Afterwards it'll cost $2 to walk the pier or $4 to fish on the pier. There's even a small bait shop for last minute supplies or a snack or ice cream to enjoy in the heat. There's plenty of parking everywhere. See you soon!
Dee G — Google review
Pier is beautiful, unfortunately some people have no respect for rules and it made the trip memorable for the wrong reasons. Shark fishing not permitted yet teens were permitted to catch a small shark cut its tail off and use it trying to catch a larger shark - they weren't hiding it and someone with a badge spoke to them and left. Also had no respect for others trying to cast. Other than that, parking wasn't bad, the other people were nice and the bait cutting/cleaning stations were plentiful. Will be back some day.
Tiffany G — Google review
Absolutely stunning!!!!! Great family atmosphere. Pier was clean, everyone was so friendly the guy inside the bait store was very nice on Saturday morning when we visited and answered all of our questions. Beach is beautiful and clean. I will definitely e back with the family.

Deerfield Island Park

Park
Nature & Parks
Deerfield Island Park is a 53-acre urban wilderness area accessible only by boat, located on the Intracoastal Waterway. It's a natural oasis where visitors can picnic, explore trails through mangroves, and visit the butterfly garden. The park is home to wildlife such as gopher tortoises, grey foxes, raccoons, armadillos, and seabirds.
Take the free ferry to the island. Tell the pilots you want to rent a paddle board or kayak. Kayaking around the island is fun. Gopher turtles not above ground when I visited. The island is very jungle like. Lovely trees, palms, greenery and some flowers. There are boardwalks and ground trails and picnic groves. A lot of people were lost on the trails, make sure to grab a map. Saw blue herons and egrets, adult and babies, iguanas, anones.Fish were jumping in the canals. Big boats on the intercoastal, some made big waves. There are bathrooms and water fountains on the island, small boat dock area and picnic areas. Some people claimed to have seen a gopher turtle. Make sure to sign in and out on the attendance sheet while on the ferry.
ELiane ( — Google review
I think it's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. You can reach the island by free ferry. The ferry operators are very polite and helpful. The ferry is very clean. You can enjoy the tour, but it's very short 😂 There's a short walking tour on the island, maybe you can explore a bit with your kids, or have a picnic. The island also has restrooms and drinking water. However, for some reason, it's been left very neglected. There's a beautiful butterfly garden. Unfortunately, we didn't see any turtles or manatee when we visited. But we did observe a variety of birds.
Özden O — Google review
They run the free shuttle to Deerfield Island Park from the north side of Sullivan Park on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays every hour on the hour from 10 AM - 2 PM. Stunning island with a butterfly section, walking paths and restrooms. Delightful, free excursion that's perfect for nature lovers and kids !!!
Di — Google review
Wonderful park with free Ferry boat ride over to the nature trails. In the middle of all the tourists you are alone on an island. Many picnic tables for snacks or lunches. Restrooms and water bottle filling station. Good excursion for the day and come back to splash in the splash pad and playground.
Robin P — Google review
A great place to visit if you are looking for some time away from the beach. The ferry is free and there is always a friendly staff member willing to answer your questions. There are picnic areas through the trails and a bathroom at the start. Go for a short walk or stay for an afternoon!

Had the most amazing time here on Deerfield Island Park! Carlos was a spectacular tour guide and is truly knowledgeable about the nature and the park itself! Can't wait to go back and explore some more!

Ski Rixen USA, situated within Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach, offers a unique water sports experience with its state-of-the-art European-style cable water ski system. This facility provides the opportunity for visitors to enjoy wakeboarding and water skiing on the smooth surface of a lake without the disturbances of boat-generated waves. It's an ideal place for both beginners and experienced skiers to practice their skills in a safe environment.
Just came this weekend for my bday. Friends made a reservation the night before and we took Saturday's first timer class. SO GOOD! Z and Phillipe were the names I can remember but EVERYONE on staff was so awesome to us, the rixen operator and golf cart pickup guy- everyone! Great service, clear directions/instruction, and so much encouragement! Every muscle in my body is sore but I look forward to coming back at the regular speed and making it around that first turn. Equipment was in great condition too. Good to know they have wetsuits so I don't have to worry about bringing my own.
Rad S — Google review
Seriously amazing. Every one of the staff on hand are lifeguard certified and eager to guide the students. My kids loved their experience and we want to come to summer camp and share the good news to everyone we know. Ski rixen is the best place to be!!
Elizabeth S — Google review
I visited over the weekend while visiting friends in Fort Lauderdale. I have never been wake boarding before so I went to the 10 AM - 12 PM beginner session when the cable was slowed down. The staff was very informative. Because of their personalized instructions and tips, I was able to get up on only my second attempt and even advanced to the intermediate board by the end of the session, making multiple laps around the park without falling. Definitely excited for my next time wake boarding. Definitely recommend!
Rhet H — Google review
Had a great “first” yesterday, visiting the Ski Rixen USA park to wakeboard. Gout up every time but couldn’t get through the buoys until, with lots of their advice and suggestions I managed to get through the first and second sets before I fell just short of the third. Had a blast and looking forward to my next 2 hour class on Sunday. Highly recommend visiting this awesome park!
Sailor L — Google review
I wish I knew of Ski Rixen years ago. The staff are amazing. They are always generous and kind in sharing any and all that they know if you so simply ask. It’s always nice going anywhere that makes you feel like you belong, props to the peeps here, truly.

My boys and their friends did 2 forty-five minute sessions at Ski Rixen’s aqua park. They had so much fun and didn’t want to leave! The lifeguards are amazing! Brady and Dylan were the lifeguards. They not only watched the kids very well and made sure they were always safe, but they also interacted and played games with them as well! Such a fun place! Only wish the aqua park was open more days! Highly recommend!
Bernadette P — Google review
We brought our Camp for a trip. The girls had an amazing time! It was a group of 10 yr olds and they were able to enjoy the knee boarding and were not scared at all! Thank you!

If you love water sports & looking to have some Fun in the sun, I recommend Ski Rixen USA at quite waters park to get it done. Beginner’s,intermediate, & advance water sports are available for you. I rate them five stars because my experience was admirable. I didn’t get paid to write this review so I have no reason to BS you. Excellent restaurant. Great service. BJ was a sweetheart and great server. Awesome staff. Super clean. Views of the beach are divine. My lobster shrimp salad was out of this world. Mango smoothie - yummy yummy yummy. Views of the beach... breathtaking. Parking is a challenge but they do have valet. Will definitely be back next time I visit Florida🌊⛱️🏖
Noemi R — Google review
Fresh seafood with a view - JB’s on the Beach is always a nice choice when you want a relaxing meal by the ocean. The lobster salad was fresh, colorful, and packed with flavor, and the shrimp were perfectly chilled. The lobster eggs Benedict with bacon was indulgent without being too heavy, and the breakfast scramble had a fresh, zesty kick with guacamole on top. The fries were crisp and satisfying. Service was friendly and attentive, and the oceanfront atmosphere makes the experience even better. Prices are on the higher side, but for the quality and the view, it’s worth it for a treat.
Charles P — Google review
It was a wonderful Sunday. Life music, great drinks, great service, great everything. Have patience because you might have waiting time unless you get early. The cool thing is you can wait or even eat at the bar (inside or outside) or stay around, go to the beach and have some fun meanwhile. They had a valet parking service. I tried a couple of things from the and I just loved it (pics attached). Although I liked everything, my favorite was the scallops and the bocce balls. As a drink I had margaritas they were fine, the beers were cold and the aperol was great, perfectly balanced. Definitely coming back in my next trip.
Josue N — Google review
Great spot to eat and enjoy a good view. At the afternoon you get great live music. 🎶 Top are the coconut shrimp, oysters, and the best are the scallops. The lobster and shrimp salad is not as good as it sounds at they only out a small piece of it. Either way try it out !
Juanjo R — Google review
JB's on the Beach continues to be one of my absolute favorite spots, and I've been lucky enough to visit multiple times. What truly sets this place apart is its amazing location right on the water. The views are simply unbeatable, creating a perfect backdrop for any meal. The vibes are always fantastic, with a lively and relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at ease. A huge draw is their live music on Saturdays, which enhances the experience, especially during their popular brunch. Speaking of brunch, it's a must-try! They offer specialty brunch options and, of course, delicious mimosas to complete the experience. The food is consistently really good. On my last visit, I thoroughly enjoyed the steak with eggs, and the oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful. My husband also loved his meal! Whether you're looking for a delightful brunch with live music, a delicious dinner, or just a great spot for drinks with an incredible view, JB's on the Beach is highly recommended. It truly offers a complete package of delicious food, great drinks, and an unbeatable beachfront ambiance.
Nicoly M — Google review
Multiple level inside physical outdoor seating. Valet parking only. Expensive parking lot accross street and less expensive but often full parking lot next door. Very attractive space and view. Food good and well presented. Good service. A lot of seafood choices.
Michael L — Google review
I usually don’t like crowded places so I was unsure about this one. Glad we made it in, we valet the car, and were sat immediately (inside), the wait for a table outside at 5 pm on a Saturday was 30-45 mins. You can absolutely walk through the restaurant and access the beach and walk around while you wait. The service was good, the food was fresh, looked beautifully set up on our plates and the atmosphere was perfect. MP for the 12 oysters was $31.
Chennith A — Google review
Best salmon bowl I’ve had in a really long time. It was simply exquisite- the salmon was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The portion was just right. Beachfront view is really nice- although the inside is quite nice as well. My waitress was super friendly and helpful!

Deerfield Beach Boardwalk, North of the Pier

Mentioned on

The Deerfield Beach Boardwalk, located just north of the pier, is a true treasure for anyone visiting this charming coastal town. Spanning over a mile along the picturesque beachfront, it offers breathtaking views of the sparkling ocean and serves as an ideal spot for walking, biking, or rollerblading. Its design ensures accessibility for everyone—families with strollers and those using wheelchairs can easily enjoy its beauty.
2nd Review The beach boardwalk is phenomenal - gorgeous beach views, hotels & restaurants, the fishing pier are all stunning ! It doesn't get better than this ! 1st Review The holiday decorations are fun & festive along the Deerfield Beach Boardwalk. It's a lovely walk with amazing restaurants, a fishing pier, shaded huts with tables and seating, public bathrooms, showers, and water fountains. They host mant activities throughout the year - car shows, live music, holiday celebrations and festivals. Paid parking is available in meters and a large parking garage. Highly recommend a visit !!!

Breathtaking views, safe and clean. We took the chance to take a walk on the broad walk at night with some winds and it turned out to be a worthwhile experience.
Adina A — Google review
The beach was exceptional; we found it highly enjoyable. While sunbed and umbrella rentals were costly, the expense was justified. We plan to return.
Manuel ( — Google review
Crowded, No Parking, and Not a Sophisticated Atmosphere Visiting Deerfield Beach Pier was not the best experience. The biggest issue is the lack of parking—it’s extremely difficult to find a spot, which makes the visit frustrating from the start. The area is also very crowded, with heavy traffic and a chaotic atmosphere. While there are plenty of cafés and restaurants near the beach, they don’t help with the congestion, and the whole place feels overwhelming. Despite the number of dining options, the area itself doesn’t feel luxurious or aesthetically pleasing. There’s a lot of loud music, and unfortunately, there was also a strong smell of marijuana in the air. If you prefer a more refined, peaceful setting, I’d recommend heading north rather than south. On the positive side, the pier is a nice feature, and there were many families with kids enjoying the beach. However, if you’re looking for a relaxing or upscale experience, this might not be the best spot.
Crown V — Google review
Great job by the city and community!!! This place rebounded after the pandemic and restarted with a new and refreshed ocean life. A family atmosphere with a beautiful ocean to enjoy. The restaurants are ready to indulge the most demanding taste. Do not miss this place if you are visiting our town!!

Surf shop
Outdoor Activities
Island Water Sports, located in Deerfield Beach, has been a hub for water sports enthusiasts since 1978. The center offers free guided lessons every Saturday morning at 7 am for surfing, skimboarding, and stand-up paddleboarding. Visitors can also rent equipment to explore the waters on their own. Additionally, Island Water Sports operates as a surf shop where customers can purchase a wide range of gear, clothing, and accessories for water sports and skateboarding.
Went in to enter a raffle today, and walked out with a raffle entry and a pair of Nike Dunk SB Seattle SuperSonics. The environment is welcoming and staff is very polite and helpful. This shop is a little distance from me but worth the drive. I have found a new surf/ skate shop that I will frequent more often now.

We had an amazing experience. Check in was easy. The instructors were so kind and helpful. My son had so much fun learning how to surf and can't wait for his next lesson. We will definitely be doing it again.
Dez F — Google review
I recently attended the Saturday morning surf camp with my 5-year-old, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Despite a massive turnout, the staff remained incredibly organized and made a clear effort to keep everything running smoothly. They thoroughly covered all safety protocols, which gave me peace of mind right from the start. The waves that morning were particularly choppy, so it was a bit intimidating to watch such a large group of beginners head out. But the team gathered, prayed together, and got to work with professionalism and care. The instructors were encouraging, attentive, and truly went the extra mile to ensure everyone, including my son (who was surfing for the first time), had a chance to catch a wave safely. After my son decided he’d had enough of the rough surf, we stopped by the shop to learn more about their skate camp. Once again, the staff were kind, supportive, and very knowledgeable. I’m genuinely impressed by the way this organization gives back to the community offering youth fun, active experiences that don’t involve screens and encouraging a healthy, engaged lifestyle. I’ll be a lifelong supporter and client. Truly thank you and keep up the incredible work!

Island Water Sports is iconic! Great owners and employees. (Linsey!!!) Terrific dedication to the community...from the free surf lessons offered weekly to the surf and skate camps...my family has enjoyed them all! And, by the way, they also sell some pretty cool products, all the main surf brands, plus some local goods..

Huge selection. Prices are typically high in this area. Friendly staff. Lots to peruse. Has a decent coffee shop inside!
Philip C — Google review
Island water sports always popped up when I have searched surf lessons in the past and I finally took the plunge. We are back in FLA and I finally decided to take advantage of their free lessons on Saturday mornings and am very happy I finally did. JC, Tom and their whole crew of volunteers were fantastic. The class this morning was a larger group and ages ranged from youngsters to older people like me (over 50) and a number were families with mom or dad participating. Sign up and completion of waiver were easily completed online in advance with great communication via txt and email. Very stres free with everyone simply meeting at the shop prior to the 7a start with some basic instruction at the shop and then on the beach. If you want to park in their lot for free, show up early as spots are limited. You just need to move our car after the lesson is completed. Their is a parking garage directly across the street but it is $16 flat rate for the day. The equipment is provided for free and in good condition. Since our group was larger, we had to share boards which is not an issue since it is good to take a break during the lesson since it is such a physical sport. I can't say enough about how good an experience the free lessons were from the instructors to the great value. I would definitely pay to have a lesson in the future or join a week long camp. The store is also large with many different products from new to used surf boards and everything in betwen with very knowledgeable staff. See you soon Island Water Sports.
Canario F — Google review
This is the first time we have tried surf lessons with our daughter and it was such a fun experience. Victor was our instructor and he had an immediate rapport with her that made her comfortable and willing to take instruction. She accomplished skills that she had never achieved before. She had a great time and she gained even more of a love for the sport. We will definitely do this again!
Jacki W — Google review
Always a great experience! If you want to experience South Florida as a local, you have to stop at Island Water Sports. Rent a board and carry it down to the beach. Not hard at all! They also have the highest quality surf wear you'll find anywhere so it's a great place to shop for clothes or for gifts to take back home with you. Then grab yourself a coffee at the coffee shop attached to the shop! Win-win.

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing ocean view 🌊. Relaxed atmosphere and tasty food, though the fish tends to be slightly overcooked and the batter could be fresher. Staff is friendly, sometimes forget small details, but they correct mistakes quickly. Nice bar and a solid wine list. Overall, a pleasant spot and definitely worth a visit for the view and vibe.

Who doesn’t love a view of the beach while enjoying a nice lunch?! Drinks were well crafted, service was amazing. The “smash” burger was very good however I would not consider it a smash burger as the patty was pretty thick- more of just a regular cheeseburger.
Hunter M — Google review
Super Dissapointed! I’m from the area and have been to JB’s next door several times for years. I walked in no expectations but it didn’t take long before I was super disappointed. The service from Jose was awful. It felt rushed and the entire service his tone was condescending. His manager (woman with curly hair) took away our full appetizers that and didn’t care to ask what was wrong with the sour burrata and soggy calamari. The entrees I will say were amazing but I don’t like anything smoked so I asked for the Demi glaze on the side. The filet mignon came drenched in the sauce and I had to wait another 20 min before Jose came back to the table. Another 20 min later the food came out and was actually quite delicious. I would like to say that I’d be open to returning for another delicious filet mignon with NO SMOKED DEMI GLAZE and charred asparagus but the service was bad enough for me to refrain. It was a slow semi rainy night and there was no reason for the awful service or bad attitudes from Jose and his manager. Food runners were all nice but that’s where it ends I suppose. Also the dulce de leche cremé brûlée would have been great if it wasn’t piled to the ceiling with sea salt.

Brian was our server and was delightful. He is pleasant, funny, engaged, proactive and anticipatory. The view can’t be beat and the kitchen does a great job with the food.My husband recently developed a severe intolerance to gluten, garlic, onions and Fructans which is difficult for us to handle at home, let alone at a restaurant. The fact that Brian was well versed on ingredients and was able to make suggestions to us was impressive. The kitchen folks did an amazing job on his food with his restrictions and it was actually the best meal he’s had out since this happened. Mine was the Scallops and Mushroom Risotto and was fantastic!. Thank you so much to the entire staff of Oceans 234 you guys are THE BEST!

I enjoyed a great dinner last night here. The bartenders were great. I forget their names and I’m sorry because they were good vibes. The steak was cooked perfectly with the sauce on top was very good. The ceviche was also really delicious with the right amount of tang for the sauce the ceviche was in. I recommend this place for sure. The steak being 55 dollars . You get what you pay for. Do you want a rowdy place or a quiet place to enjoy your time and a meal. Thanks guys

Sullivan Park

Park
Nature & Parks
Sullivan Park, located on the waterfront of Deerfield Beach, has a rich history as it was once home to a 1920s packinghouse and later transformed into The Riverview Club. Today, it is a popular family destination with shaded playgrounds and a vibrant splash pad for children to enjoy. The park offers picturesque views of the Gulf Stream and provides a boat dock for visitors. Additionally, it serves as an ideal spot for fishing along the Intracoastal Waterway.
A secret gem that isn’t so secret anymore! Sullivan has something for everyone… -Playground for toddlers and elementary -dozens of places to sit in the sun or shade to watch the boats, bridge, Deerfield island or watch your kids play. -lots of boat slips -bathrooms -large splash pad -boat rentals -free parking as long as you check in your license plate Tons of stuff to spend the day and not want to leave. One of the many spots that make me proud to be a local 🤘🏼

The ferry to Deerfield Island departs from here. If you don't want to go to the island, you can still enjoy the canal from here. While your children enjoy the playground, you can sip your coffee. I think it's great to grab a chair and sit by the canal. The restrooms are clean. The playgrounds are spotlessly clean. Best of all, parking is free :)) I think it's a place worth visiting and trying.

It’s a beautiful place to relax by the canal. It has a splash area for kids to play, a playground, chairs by the canal, public restrooms, and a green space for picnics and meditations. Parking is free for the first 4 hours, but you must register your car to avoid a fine, as there is a police officer checking the vehicles.

The restaurant features a shaded patio with refreshing ocean breezes, creating the perfect setting to enjoy their incredible seafood offerings, as well as steaks and ribs with a tropical Florida twist.

This charming beach cafe/bar exudes an old-time Florida vibe, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day by the ocean. With its laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff, you'll feel right at home as you savor their renowned dishes like the Lobster Reuben and Conch Fritters.
For those who like fresh and well-prepared seafood, I recommend it here. My husband loves oysters and I love mussels, especially when made in tomato sauce (also fresh tomatoes). In two days I tried three places and without a doubt this was the best seafood and oysters I ate. The apparently old place, with a different decoration, scattered car plates from different places on the walls, but very cozy and the food is great,

We come here very often. It is one of our favorite spots. Today I had the grouper fingers. They were delicious and so much food I could not finish. My wife had the Tuna and she loved it. I love the chips and the yellow mustard house sauce they have. Its great on everything! Whales Rib never disapoints! We love this place.
JF I — Google review
This place has great food. The fried grouper fis sandwich was FABULOUS. It was seasoned nicely, a big piece of fish, and the bun was soft. What a great sandwich. The fried clams..delicious. Their potato chips are thin and seasoned just right. You get a lot of them, so eat up! This place is a hidden gem for good food! I'll definitely go again!
Stacie W — Google review
Seemed nice and priced right then turned out not great. Waited a long time for Takeout Order . Disappointed. Mahi very "fishy." Definitely not fresh! Mahi should never taste fishy ! It was as fishy as old trout. You're definitely was MSG in the food because I am allergic to MSG and I started to have a mild familiar reaction. Bread was dark like German bread ok ...Asked for butter and tartar . wasn't in the bag....then as I decided to risk eating it ....Broccoli had spoiled mold ! Butter as a melted tasteless tub of grease next to the fish I asked for butter on the side, real butter Idk....they acted like I was asking for too much. I was over charged told they'd throw in a side charged for it and rotten. Obviously chose the wrong restaurant kicking myself for not going next door.... this was a rare one time occasion .....(rarely if at all) treat myself) .. waitress disappeared and seemed a bit tipsy not to happy about this mess .Miss the old days of fresh made. Pray I don't get food poisoning sick! Small are the chance of getting refund...I bet tomorrow I will call and complain and ask for a refund. Moment of treating myself to a sandwich was kind of special. Yes my stomach not feeling too hot after a few bites ...don't recommend this place at all ...go elsewhere until they clean up the kitchen.

I've been here so many times, and we always make it a point to stop by! The drinks are absolutely amazing and they keep things fresh by changing them up regularly. I’m a huge fan of their Bloody Mary—it's just perfect! And let me tell you, their chicken wings are fantastic too!

Old school local beach bar and restaurant. Nothing fancy, but has good typical bar food. It’s a small spot, so you might have to wait for a table or spot at the bar during peak times. If they have them try the house made chips/fries. I get them with my cheeseburger, they’re really good.

it's a spot which gives you an old timey beach town restaurant vibe. food was surprisingly good. oysters were clean taste. fish sandwich was a hit. whale fries is just a basket of home made chips. some of chips were a little bit too oily for me. over all, a good place to eat if you are in the neighborhood

The restaurant provides an outdoor seating area where guests can enjoy their meals just feet from the white sandy beach. A Hidden Gem! I had a spicy margarita and the combo fajitas—both were absolutely delicious. They even offered chips and salsa on the house, which was a nice touch. The ambiance really stood out, especially the illuminated countertop bar—it gave the place a modern yet cozy vibe. High-quality food, high-quality people, and it's family owned and operated, which you can feel in the care they put into everything. Definitely coming back!

Food was so dry and sour it was unbearable. Avoid the enchiladas! Our waitress kept walking off and when it was time for me to pay the employees were chatting in the back for about 20 minutes or more! Very inattentive and poor overall service. Not priced very well either.. Over 20 dollars for 3 tacos?! are you kidding me?! also the flan is way too sweet. and I'm no picky eater!

It was my first time here and I came on a Tuesday. I got this drink with guava, Guavarita it was so good. I recommend it. The restaurant has margaritas at a good price. It seems they have this awesome deal going with the tacos. We all got the tacos. The restaurant had a good selection to choose from. Most places only give you maybe 4 but this place has a good selection. They gave us a menu and a list to write down how many and which one. They then brought us the tacos. I liked them. I found them all good. The service was good and friendly. Olivia was great. We originally had to wait for twenty minutes to be seated. There is no fan bar you can wait. The counter is crowded with restaurant stuff. That would be my only complaint.

If you want authentic Mexican cuisine in South Florida then this is the place to go. This is the real deal. Chef Emilio travels to Yucatán, Mexico every 3 weeks to bring over the spices they use to make their dishes perfect. You can truly taste the quality. I was absolutely blown away by every dish we ordered. This a a family establishment and when you dine there you’ll feel like family. The servers are on point and will never let your drink be empty. They are very observant and are some of the best I’ve seen. I myself have eaten multiple tacos in Mexico and the food here is just as good, if not better. Emilio’s daughter Tita took over the restaurant 2 years ago and is doing an amazing job carrying out Emilio’s vision. This restaurant is a staple to our community and we will continue to dine here.

Great Italian restaurant close to the beach. We had a couple large pizzas, a slice of sausage pizza, a calzone, and the blackened Mahi Mahi wrap. All of our food was fantastic and the portions were huge. The service was good...refills were a little slow, but that was my only complaint. I dont normally do bathroom pics, but this bathroom was exceptionally clean...hence the picture. Enjoy the short walk along to boardwalk from the beach to this great local gem!

I came alone as my traveling companion will not arrive till tomorrow. I had called and asked about the live music and they told it’s starts 630pm However, when I arrived today, there was no music. Part of the reason I chose this Resturabt was for the live music. I still enjoyed my dining and had the best server!! The cheese sticks & marinara were tasty and worthwhile to try . The shrimp cocktail & sauce perfectly cooked and chilled. I also had the caprese salad and it was perfect . My main Chicken Francese the lemon wine sauce was tasteless :( I doctored it with extra lemon and parmesan. I also had the tiramisu which had the perfect balance pans delicious it would have been perfect if it was chilled bs room temperature . My only other critique is I let them know I was taking my leftover back to reheat at the hotel for later however they gave me tin foil pans sooo no reheating can be done in the microwave:(((( those are the only reasons it gets a 4 instead of a 5 .

The atmosphere and live music were nice. The waiter was chill. The food was alright but nothing to write Jome about. However their prices were insanity. It cost 23 dollars a small bowl of plain fettuccini Alfredo with nothing in it. To add chicken and broccoli, which should have been included already, my final bill went over $40 after tip. Jome also had issues with the pricing. He got the spaghetti, and the menu was written in a deceptive way where he ended up paying a bunch of extra money for the meatballs he thought came on the meal. It did not say anything about an extra charge or price values to have them included. He would not have gotten them had he known that fact. From other reviews it seems like we aren’t the only ones with price issues. The place has some nice factors but over all the experience was not that memorable (for good reasons anyway).

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing ocean view 🌊. Relaxed atmosphere and tasty food, though the fish tends to be slightly overcooked and the batter could be fresher. Who doesn’t love a view of the beach while enjoying a nice lunch?! Drinks were well crafted, service was amazing. The “smash” burger was very good however I would not consider it a smash burger as the patty was pretty thick- more of just a regular cheeseburger.

Nestled in the vibrant beach town of Deerfield Beach, Barracuda Seafood and Grill is a delightful culinary gem that brings the flavors of Brazil to life. This modern eatery offers an inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy a diverse selection of fresh seafood dishes, including ceviche, oysters, and grilled fish. The menu also features traditional Brazilian fare like Feijoada and Churrasco, making it a perfect spot for those looking to indulge in authentic cuisine.
Our server, Suelen, was super nice and attentive! The food was really tasty and their menu has tons of Brazilian staples. Prices were very reasonable too! We had the breaded tilapia with fried yucca, with passion fruit caipirinha. They offer free parking for one hour, but we only noticed after sitting down. 😁

This was our first time here for dinner with friends and family. Our group of four had no wait. Our server Christopher was great! He answered our questions about the menu, made excellent recommendations about Brazilian alcohol, pastries and entrees, and was attentive throughout the meal. We ordered the traditional (lime) and coconut & passionfruit caiperhinia drinks, Brazilian soda, the happy hour pastries, paella, mahi (grilled) tacos appetizers, tilapia (battered and fried) appetizers, and chicken and yucca soup (with soft bread). Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend this place. Note that an 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. There is a public parking garage behind the restaurant and the restaurant validates 1 hour of the parking cost.

I just want to tell the owner, the sound is very loud. I went yesterday (August 31st, 2025) and there was a lady singing and it was so loud! I am not saying she is a good or a bad singer but we couldn't talk between us. Even the waiter couldn't hear our order properly. It is not the first time that this happen in this restaurant and the last time we complained and nothing.
Paola S — Google review
My sister and I recently visited this place for the first time, hoping for a fun night out with good food, music, and laughter. While the atmosphere was enjoyable and the waiter was friendly, our dining experience was unfortunately disappointing. The drinks were decent, but the food service left much to be desired. The calamari was overcooked, chewy, and practically burnt. Our main entrée, which was supposed to come with guacamole, took an astonishing 40 minutes to arrive, and the guacamole was missing when it finally did. We had already finished our meal by the time the guacamole was brought to us. Additionally, the chips served with our meal were clearly Tostitos, which felt like a cheap shortcut. For a meal that cost $97 with the tip included, the quality did not match the price. If you're looking for a satisfying dining experience, I would recommend trying somewhere else.

We loved their food. We had the steamed shrimp, as well as the shrimp cocktail. The drinks were also delicious. The service was excellent as well. The only reason I give it 3 stars as opposed to 4 is because they had recently opened for the day, and there was a VERY STRONG smell of bleach.. We saw a couple of people walking away because of this. Also, when we arrived, someone was cleaning the patio area, and although she acknowledged us, when we asked if they were opened, she said she didn't know... Isn't she the one that works there, and must know their hours???

I pay my cover and there was no tables or space at the bar but a friendly server let me know that one of her tables was getting ready and offered me a menu while I wait, soon enough a table opened up. I had already missed the first band that play but the next one was already setting up. I had yummy food that has a fair price for the amount that was served. Then the show started and we were all dancing and having a wonderful time. The manager came to the table and introduced herself 😔 I forgot her name but she was very nice. I had a blast she told me they have different events all the time to check then out. Friendly patrons and staff. They also had a DJ on the outside of the place.

The food was delicious and fresh. The Caipirinha cocktails were strong and refreshing, ask for JP, he gives excellent recommendations and is very knowledgeable and passionate about the dishes most especially the Caipirinha. They also had a live DJ at the end of the day.

Tiki bar
The Cove Waterfront Restaurant and Tiki Bar is a lively destination that offers classic seafood dishes and cocktails with stunning waterfront views. It's considered one of the best waterfront restaurants in Deerfield Beach, providing a perfect spot for a casual day out or a romantic evening. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options, allowing guests to enjoy breathtaking views of the Marina and the Intracoastal Waterways while savoring delicious food with family and friends.
Tried the Cove for their Catch (Speared) & Cook with the Chiefycrew…the experience was fantastic with great tasting fish and lobsters we caught (speared) and brought. Upscale dining with a waterfront view but not the expensive cost. $20 per person including two sides and served family style. We’ll be back

Review based on 1 visit for date night*** Had such high hopes for this place. Ambiance incredible. Can’t beat the water….you just can’t. Unfortunately, our waitress left us many times, lemon and salt needed to be added to the fish dip, chowder and other items to the wings. Mahi was over cooked and chewy. Sauce was great and the platter was beautiful they just missed on almost everything. Yes I’ll be back. I assume something had to be out of the ordinary because reviews are so good. Example: we ordered fish dip and it was delivered almost instantly. We thought to ourselves this is a great start or scary lol. Seems to have been sitting out ready for someone to order. Cove, thanks for changing 2 George’s and I will be back hopefully to a different experience.

The mahi with mango salsa & rice was delicious! Loved the presentation too! The rest of the family also enjoyed their food. They didn’t have many desert options but the key lime pie was great! We visited on 03/29/25 at about 8pm and sat close to the water, there was a nice breeze and such a nice atmosphere! I don’t remember our servers name sadly but he was attentive and wonderful at serving us. I highly recommend this restaurant in Deerfield beach!

This checks all the boxes! Great food, service, and views! This is a large covered outdoor restaurant right on the intercoastal with docking available and ample parking. The food selections were very good. We had a party of 6, and we're seated immediately for dinner. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. The prices were reasonable as well. Our tab was a little over $200 for 6 people with alcohol and an appetizer.

I was so excited to try this place out and even though it has a nice atmosphere and okay staff, the food was absolutely appalling. I ordered a house salad with balsamic vinaigrette, but it came tasting like sweet and sour chinese dressing drenched in soy sauce - I order salad everywhere and don’t usually have a problem with different dressings but this was terrible, I couldn’t take more than a bite. I also ordered buffalo chicken wings that came dryer than a desert, with absolutely 0 sauce. My husband ordered a cheeseburger that came tasting like straight up fish, they clearly grill everything on the same surface, terrible. Would not recommend for dinner whatsoever - the appetizers weren’t that bad, we got calamari and fries, so maybe for drinks at the bar would be alright. Anyway, we ended up dropping $70, barely ate any food and left there starving.

Review: The Cove Waterfront Restaurant and Tiki Bar The Cove is an absolute gem—an inviting waterfront spot that perfectly blends casual elegance with laid-back coastal charm. From the moment you walk in, you're struck by the expansive, voluminous ceilings and oversized fans gently turning overhead, giving the space a breezy, open-air feel. The view overlooking the marina is nothing short of stunning, offering a serene backdrop whether you're enjoying a sunset dinner or a relaxed afternoon drink. Service is another standout here—attentive without being intrusive. The staff is friendly, professional, and clearly committed to creating a pleasant dining experience. The menu offers a well-rounded variety of options, with something to please every palate, from tropical-inspired dishes to more traditional favorites. Whether you're stopping in for a meetup at the tiki bar or settling in for a full meal, The Cove delivers on atmosphere, service, and flavor. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind by the water.

Mixed Feelings: Great Vibes, Service & Food Missed the Mark This spot has a pretty good vibe , nice atmosphere for hanging out. However, my experience with the service and food was a letdown. Servers seemed unfamiliar with the drink i was looking for, which was frustrating. I also tried to pick a healthy food option, but it came dripping in unhealthy dressing and was a huge portion( I already had half of my salad before i toke the pic!) While the price was okay, the poor service and food execution were disappointing. The ambiance has potential, but they need to step up other areas.

I recently dined at The Cove, and I can't say enough great things about our server, Lauren! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that set the tone for our evening. Lauren was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations on both the seafood specialties and the drinks. What truly stood out was her passion for the food and the experience she created for us. Lauren went above and beyond to make our dining experience special. The Cove itself is a lovely spot, but it was Lauren's exceptional service that truly made our visit memorable. I highly recommend dining here, and if you can, ask for Lauren—she's a gem!

Peruvian restaurant
La Panza Latin Bistro is a cozy and contemporary Peruvian restaurant located in Deerfield Beach. The warm and inviting ambiance, along with modern decor and comfortable seating, sets the stage for an authentic dining experience. The menu offers a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes such as Ceviche, Tiraditos, Lomo Saltado, and Arroz con Mariscos. The chefs skillfully blend influences from indigenous populations and immigrants to create a diverse range of flavors that patrons can explore.
We've been customers at La Panza for a long time. We love the Peruvian food made by the restaurant owner himself. It's delicious and well-prepared. I just don't think it's cool to impose a 20% tip, I think 15% is ok for the place. it's a small simple but cozy bistro.
Adriana C — Google review
The place is really tiny but I knew that already from the reviews so that is not a complaint but just to let others know. Food is really good, prices look fair to me, portions are Ok, not big, not small, service was nice. Up to here 5⭐️ This is what I didn’t like and the reason why I dropped my rate to an overall 4⭐️. It was kind of hot inside. At the beginning, we didn’t notice but after some minutes we started sweating. But the one thing I really didn’t like was the automatic 20% service fee added to my account. No questions asked, just 20% on top. Not something an average customer (like me) appreciates. I like to decide how much the service worth and If I think 15% is enough, well, it is enough but this kind of No options and here is your extra 20% bill… Not too friendly.
Jose A — Google review
I should do cero starts. For this restaurant. Horrible service. And not authentic Peruvian food. They never knew how to hire good service they often changing servers. All rude and disrespectful. And they what us to pay mandatory 20% for a tip. They just want to advantage of the people. Horrible food as well. Not Peruvian at all. So I’m paying almost $30 dollars so they take like 10 min to bring us drinks. And always with actitudes

The Ceviche of only fish is delicious and you definitely should try it, it is definitely a great place to come, also the Lomo Saltado has the perfect seasoning, and the staff is really nice and check on you every 10 mins. In conclusion a really nice place to come with family.

Great outdoor lunch at La Panza on a quiet Friday. Service was excellent and their menu is simply incredible. It's the kind of menu which reminds you that you need more than one visit at the place, because they've got so much good food to try out. I had Chaufa with Pescado, a bottle of Passion fruit juice, and took two desserts home (they have many options and the portions are good for the price).
Pedro C — Google review
We used to eat here every friday and then we moved to ny. We came back after a year and half because we thought we missed this place! We ordered our usual ceviche and tostón appetizer and it definitely did not taste the same! The waitress said they changed the cook and it was obvious. My sister ordered a dish that had no flavor and did not like it and they weren't even willing to take it off the bill. And when we told the first waitress she just walked away. Very rude! Also when the bill came we don't have the choice to pay the tip it's automatically added on which is ridiculous! Don't go here they are overpriced and the food isn't worth it!
Erica R — Google review
This place has changed. The food did not taste the same. There was no flavor. And when I told them I didn’t like my dish and asked if they were still going to charge me, they said yes because I ate from it already. To me the customer comes first and I shouldn’t have had to pay for something that tasted bad! The ceviche is completely different and we asked if they changed the cook they said yes. No wonder! My boyfriend ordered the paella and the rice was overcooked and the ceviche didn’t even taste like ceviche! Don’t go there!

Nice, lively, restaurant. I thought the food was good. I enjoyed what I got. The service was friendly and helpful. The waiter I had was great. Her recommendations were on point. I liked everything. They had a nice happy hour menu. I had a good time. The friendly atmosphere here is great. Between the music and the decor I liked the place.

Good food and service. We were seated with no wait and the servers were very pleasant. I loved the chips and salsa and the food was good but not great. I’m not sure what’s missing but maybe a bit more flavor. I ate the chicken quesadilla and my husband had the two enchilada plater. We ate from the regular menu and there didn’t appear to be any lunch specials.

Lori is an excellent server and we love coming here for lunch. Margaritas are cold, food is delicious and the atmosphere feels like Baja. See you next time!

This used to be our "go to" Mexican restaurant while living in Boca. We went back to visit since took a day trip back down, and boy how prices changed. We had a 3 small steak taco plate and 1 burrito for lunch, 2 ice waters and bill was $41.00 plus tip I wasn't planning on a $50.00 lunch. Was it good? Yes, but nothing outstanding. Unfortunately, we will have to remember how it used to be a good value, but definitely not worth it for the price now. Oh yeah, surcharge applied for CC and not disclosed. Food was good, service was good, but nothing exceptional. Should we have seen prices and left? Maybe, but we didn't, hoping it would be worth it.

What a great choice! The place has great AC and decoration, funny glass window that looks like sunset and made me forget how hot it was outside. The food was very authentic and delicious. The first round of salsa and tortillas chips were free and the second was only $1.99. We ordered some guacamole on the side and it was so fresh, delicious and kept a us busy for main course. We shared a beef fajitas and we asked for corn tortillas, we absolutely loved it! Suddenly it was happy hour time and we decided to stick around for margaritas 2 for 1 $8 and so the beers. All the menu had reasonable price. I highly recommend Baja café.

With its inviting atmosphere and numerous TVs, it's perfect for sports enthusiasts looking to enjoy their favorite games while savoring delicious food. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. I got mild chicken wings and my wife got pasta salad with chicken salad on top. With the luncheon special we got a pitcher of IPA1A from 26 Degree Brewing Company. I have ate chicken wings from lots of places and Flanigan’s wings are the best I ever ate hands down. Their wings are baked, not fried and are not loaded with salt like some places. They are the best! My wife loved the pasta salad with chicken salad on top. She said it was exceptional. Don’t forget to try their barbecued ribs if you get a chance. I got a half rack (not in the photos cause I ate them too fast) and they were fall off the bone delicious. Some of the best ribs I ever ate. Service was great and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

We had a blast here! Reasonably priced food compared to other places. Nachos were 12.99 and could easily have fed our family. Daily specials were offered as well. Great family story. Would return. We checked in online and were seated once we arrived. That was super easy!

Flanigan’s in Deerfield Beach never disappoints! We started with the Caesar salad topped with perfectly grilled chicken — fresh, crisp, and flavorful. For Wing It Wednesday, we couldn’t pass up the deal: 10 free wings with the purchase of a pitcher (we went with Diet Coke), and the wings came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. To finish, we treated ourselves to the Banzai Brownie, which was decadent, rich, and indulgent — definitely a dessert made for sharing after such a satisfying meal. Beyond the food, the service was fantastic. The staff and waitresses were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Whether you’re in the mood for wings, a fresh salad, or just a great night out, Flanigan’s Deerfield Beach is the place to be!

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, offers amenities such as free WiFi and a cell phone waiting lot. Visitors can also enjoy watching planes take off and land from designated observation areas. The airport provides convenient services for travelers while being situated in a city known for its extensive canal system and vibrant urban area with various entertainment options.
Large and modern airport facility with minimal waiting times for security checkpoint. Airport facilities are clean, there is a nice aviation exhibit in the terminal 3/4 connection way, and an overall large selection of dining and fast food restaurants.

This airport is honestly fine. I came from Cancun to this airport as a stop over to get to Baltimore. The customs process was super long. The workers were moderately nice though. Getting our bags took a while as well so even though we had an hour and 45 minute layover, by the time we got to the gate, we were already boarding. There’s a great selection of food Here and regular shops. It would be nice to arrive early and be able to hang out. I love the area with different pieces of art from people that work at the airport. That was a super unique touch and I like how it was celebrating different skills of the workers there.

Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport is a modern and fairly well-organized airport. Conveniently located near Miami, it serves as a good alternative to the larger hub. Security checks are usually quick, and the selection of restaurants and shops is decent. The airport is clean, signage is clear, and getting around is easy, making travel smooth and comfortable.
Tod — Google review
I say everyone should check out this airport at least once in their life. It is clean, not too crowded, big, and has all the amenities you need. It even has an indoor 'bus', which is actually a booth where people have these cool cards! Yeah, it would be nice if this airport could get a people mover, though. But still, it was a great experience.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is a surprisingly smooth and convenient hub for travel. The terminals are clean, modern, and easy to navigate, with clear signage that makes getting to your gate effortless. One of my favorite things? The Global Entry lines are always empty—making exit and re-entry a breeze and saving so much time. Security moves efficiently, staff are helpful, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options to keep you comfortable while waiting. FLL feels well-organized and traveler-friendly—a great start or end to any trip.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is a busy and well-structured airport, offering good signage and organization that makes it easy to navigate. The terminals are modern, with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, giving passengers plenty of options while waiting for their flights. Security and boarding processes are generally efficient, though lines can get long during peak hours. The airport’s location is also a plus, being close to both Fort Lauderdale and Miami, which makes it a practical choice for travelers. Overall, it’s a well-equipped airport that provides a smooth travel experience.

I flew into here instead of MIA from Sao Paulo. The airport offered an easier way to get home to Sarasota with simple routing to 595 and then 75. The Rental Car Center was in the airport so I did not need to walk 1/2 mile like in MIA only to board a train. It was less crowded and immigration was a snap.
James S — Google review
FLL (Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport) is a good choice if you're flying in or out of South Florida and want to avoid the chaos of some of the bigger hubs. One thing I really appreciate is how the Red Coach buses stop right between Terminals 1 and 2 -- super convenient if you're heading to other parts of the state. The airport itself strikes a nice balance: not too big, not too crowded. It's easy to navigate, security lines tend to move fairly quickly, and the layout is straightforward. Compared to other Florida airports like Orlando (MCO), Miami (MIA), Jacksonville (JAX), and Tampa (TPA), FLL comes out ahead in my book, especially in terms of ease of use and general comfort. That said, it's not extraordinary. Food options are decent but nothing to rave about, and the terminals could use a bit more seating in the gate areas. Still, it's a solid international airport that gets the job done efficiently, with a laid-back Florida vibe. Would probably fly through here again.

South Beach is renowned for its vibrant beaches, art-deco architecture, nightlife, and diverse dining options. It's highly walkable, making it convenient for travelers without cars. I just love this airport and Miami as a whole. I've visited and passed through this airport for years but this time was a little bit more special. I flew in from upstate and caught my connecting flight to my final vacation destination about a week ago. My connecting gate was D40 and right in the middle wre drums, dancing and fellowship! I made the comment, "This is so Miami!" and happened to be standing next to one of the curators of the event. It was very welcoming and enjoyable to watch! I love it!

Miami International Airport is huge. It is made for fearless travelers. It is not for the timid. Its massive size and congested layout can be daunting. Luckily it is easy to find your numbered terminals and gates. I did not drive myself to the airport. That in itself is a maze with many entrances, exits and car parks. American Airlines has its own area which is kinda perfect, lol. Inside the airport, there are many choices of food shops, drink stops, restaurants, shopping zones etc You can be thoroughly entertained especially if you have long layovers 😁 There's plenty seating. The chairs are not comfortable for naps. I have seen people asleep on the carpeted floors awaiting their flights. The air trains and moving walkways are a plus. I do love MIA as a transfer point to other countries once I gather my bearings lol

Very nice and beautiful airport with diverse community. Huge airport but need little improvements in term of ease of transport. Too busy for the size of the airport and the people they handle are mostly from South American and so more Spanish speaker and people and customer care is more for them . But overall nice place . Designed nicely but too many people comes around . Nice shops and restaurants to browse around . Beautiful view of the landing and departure of planes with the Miami and biscane bay view which are one of the best in the world

I spent the day here in the Miami airport. The signage is poor with a sign i ficating to go up and right to my gate. But it turned out the sign meant to go straight and not go up. The sign for checkpoint 1 is about 40 feet from the real check point 1 The signage for gates is good and visible The accessible restrooms offer open door entry and dedicated stall with 2 grab bars and 4ftx 4 ft space. The airport offers a variety of eateries from International Au Bon Pain and local favorites like cafe Vincennes and La Carreta. Eateries and shops are Aceesibke open entry and venues. The floors here are different types of terrazzo like black and white with golden designs. The floors reflect the lights and can cause a visual challenges for some people. Today I was offered a sample of Bombay Sapphire which was my first tasting in an airport Men’s and women’s accessible restrooms are located in several areas with dedicated stalls 2 grab bars and 4ftx4ft space with mostly hands free operation

The airport layout at this airport is a little confusing for rookies like me, and the signage could have been clearer. Still, most of the people I interacted with were nice and helpful. There was a good variety of dining and shopping options to check out while we waited for our flight.

What a huge airport. We are flying out of H terminal and had a good 1.13 mile walk this morning before our flight in both H and J terminal. H terminal has lots of carpet making pushing / pulling luggage have some extra effort. J terminal has nice waxed floors easier on the walking. We could a wonderful quote in the floor spanning a long part of the J Terminal walk from The Everglades River of Grass written by Marjory Stoneman Douglas.

I love this airport because it offers a great variety of food options😆. The bathrooms are 60% clean. The lines at check point are huge, but they go pretty fast. I also find entertainment watching the constant stream of planes taking off and landing.
LIA P — Google review
It's huge airport, with lots of shops and places to eat and drink. It's a little bit confusing at first. some parts look a bit dated. The gates aren't all together as they place shops and restaurants between them, so you can end up walking about a mile to your gate, but they do have the handy SkyTrain if you don't like exploring. One thing I found a bit funny as someone who isn't American is the toilets have huge gaps between the floor and the cubicle wall, so it doesn't feel very private. Ultimately it has all the conveniences you would want in an airport, but it didn't wow me at all.
