Quiet Waters Park, located in Deerfield Beach, is a 427-acre county park offering a wide range of outdoor activities. Visitors can enjoy cable water-skiing at Ski Rixen USA, fishing, bike trails, basketball courts, and a campground. The park features seven miles of mountain bike trails and the Woofing Waters Dog Park & Marina. Families can also have fun at the Splash Adventure water park with slides and sprinklers to cool off in the Florida heat.
The water park was fun, especially for my toddler! It’s great for younger kids, though the water was a bit cold for my 1.5-year-old. The park is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of parking available. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a day out with little ones!

I went to Quiet Waters Park recently and really enjoyed it. The place has a nice mix of open spaces and shaded areas, which made it a relaxing spot to walk around. I liked that there were plenty of picnic spots and areas to just sit and enjoy the view. It felt peaceful without being too far from everything. I’d definitely come back, especially on a sunny weekend.

Very, very good Mountain Bike trails for South Florida. The trail team but in some great work. Trails are Cross-Country type trails but good fun. The trails also drain well when it rains.

Great camping grounds! Beautiful scenery right next to the water. Heaps of fun. Electricity and bathrooms provided. What a spot right in Deerfiled next door to Boca. A gem.

Went to Saigon Night Market on the last night after the rain fall and had a great date night with my partner.

The facilities landscape is nice and the employees are polite, however, the amount of bugs at the pavilion we visited was insane!!!! Ants, spiders, mosquitoes , flies….we had to send someone to purchase an outdoors bug repellent and it still wasn’t enough. We’ve had a lot of gatherings at different parks within Miami Dade and Broward counties and have never encountered such a high level of insect activity. If they would have treated for insects, it would have made the experience a more positive one.

Our family of four went out in a paddle boat for almost two hours on a Saturday.. The boat park area is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, for which the park jas a general admission charge of $3.00 per car; otherwise, during the week, admission is free. We got two hours on the "big lake" for $15.00. What a deal! Mom and adult son did the foot pedalling and Dad and adult daughter sitting Im the back enjoying the view. And what sights and smells: a three foot colorful lizard , a bicycle course with wild twists and turns, bicycle enthusiastic riders, and people in pavilions cooking up wonderful smelling food.

The Florida Renaissance Festival is one of the festivals this beautiful park hosts. It happens every year and it is fun. This park unlike other parks does a big renaissance fair. It is so cool. People dress up in costumes. It is something worth checking out. It is a family friendly event with good foods, shows, music, performers, vendors and rides. I had a great time. This is a big park and easy to find. The staff is pretty friendly. It has plenty of parking all around and activities for everyone. I like the walking trail. I found it nice. I have always enjoyed my time here

The Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier is a popular spot for fishing and sightseeing, stretching nearly 1000 feet into the ocean. The pier is frequented by fishermen seeking a catch as well as tourists taking in the scenic beauty.
IG: TRAVELWITHARCHER86 Endless memories that I would never trade. Stunning views, fantastic energy,family-friendly, and simply one of my favorite locations. As you can see, I have posted one of my favorite events, the "Silent Piano Concert" by Murray from MINDTRAVEL. His events are without question some of the most emotional, musically stunning, visually gorgeous, and incredibly connecting style events.

Beautiful spot to visit! The Deerfield International Pier is a great place to watch the sunrise — absolutely stunning views over the ocean. After the renovation, everything looks so clean, neat, and well-maintained. It’s the perfect place to relax, take a walk, or just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere by the water.

Awesome beach to visit in Broward county! The beach is pretty clean and the lifeguards do a great job. Tons of good spots to check out such as restaurants and bars that are nearby.

Great spot for any beach activity any time of the day. You get to see beautiful sunrises and enjoy the day at a clean Beach. Come early, there's plenty of parking!

I love the Deerfield Beach Pier! You'll find it at the very end of Hillsboro Blvd and Ocean Drive. Surrounded by many sports bars, restaurants and shoppes, there's always something to do. Take a nice long walk on the 1 mile marked path heading south or take a stroll on the newly opened pier, it's free for now. Afterwards it'll cost $2 to walk the pier or $4 to fish on the pier. There's even a small bait shop for last minute supplies or a snack or ice cream to enjoy in the heat. There's plenty of parking everywhere. See you soon!
Dee G — Google review
Absolutely stunning!!!!! Great family atmosphere. Pier was clean, everyone was so friendly the guy inside the bait store was very nice on Saturday morning when we visited and answered all of our questions. Beach is beautiful and clean. I will definitely e back with the family.

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Deerfield Island Park is a 53-acre urban wilderness area accessible only by boat, located on the Intracoastal Waterway. It's a natural oasis where visitors can picnic, explore trails through mangroves, and visit the butterfly garden. The park is home to wildlife such as gopher tortoises, grey foxes, raccoons, armadillos, and seabirds.
Take the free ferry to the island. Tell the pilots you want to rent a paddle board or kayak. Kayaking around the island is fun. Gopher turtles not above ground when I visited. The island is very jungle like. Lovely trees, palms, greenery and some flowers. There are boardwalks and ground trails and picnic groves. A lot of people were lost on the trails, make sure to grab a map. Saw blue herons and egrets, adult and babies, iguanas, anones.Fish were jumping in the canals. Big boats on the intercoastal, some made big waves. There are bathrooms and water fountains on the island, small boat dock area and picnic areas. Some people claimed to have seen a gopher turtle. Make sure to sign in and out on the attendance sheet while on the ferry.
ELiane ( — Google review
I think it's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. You can reach the island by free ferry. The ferry operators are very polite and helpful. The ferry is very clean. You can enjoy the tour, but it's very short 😂 There's a short walking tour on the island, maybe you can explore a bit with your kids, or have a picnic. The island also has restrooms and drinking water. However, for some reason, it's been left very neglected. There's a beautiful butterfly garden. Unfortunately, we didn't see any turtles or manatee when we visited. But we did observe a variety of birds.

They run the free shuttle to Deerfield Island Park from the north side of Sullivan Park on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays every hour on the hour from 10 AM - 2 PM. Stunning island with a butterfly section, walking paths and restrooms. Delightful, free excursion that's perfect for nature lovers and kids !!!

Wonderful park with free Ferry boat ride over to the nature trails. In the middle of all the tourists you are alone on an island. Many picnic tables for snacks or lunches. Restrooms and water bottle filling station. Good excursion for the day and come back to splash in the splash pad and playground.
Robin P — Google review
A great place to visit if you are looking for some time away from the beach. The ferry is free and there is always a friendly staff member willing to answer your questions. There are picnic areas through the trails and a bathroom at the start. Go for a short walk or stay for an afternoon!

Excellent restaurant. Great service. BJ was a sweetheart and great server. Awesome staff. Super clean. Views of the beach are divine. My lobster shrimp salad was out of this world. Mango smoothie - yummy yummy yummy. Views of the beach... breathtaking. Parking is a challenge but they do have valet. Will definitely be back next time I visit Florida🌊⛱️🏖
Noemi R — Google review
Fresh seafood with a view - JB’s on the Beach is always a nice choice when you want a relaxing meal by the ocean. The lobster salad was fresh, colorful, and packed with flavor, and the shrimp were perfectly chilled. The lobster eggs Benedict with bacon was indulgent without being too heavy, and the breakfast scramble had a fresh, zesty kick with guacamole on top. The fries were crisp and satisfying. Service was friendly and attentive, and the oceanfront atmosphere makes the experience even better. Prices are on the higher side, but for the quality and the view, it’s worth it for a treat.

It was a wonderful Sunday. Life music, great drinks, great service, great everything. Have patience because you might have waiting time unless you get early. The cool thing is you can wait or even eat at the bar (inside or outside) or stay around, go to the beach and have some fun meanwhile. They had a valet parking service. I tried a couple of things from the and I just loved it (pics attached). Although I liked everything, my favorite was the scallops and the bocce balls. As a drink I had margaritas they were fine, the beers were cold and the aperol was great, perfectly balanced. Definitely coming back in my next trip.
Josue N — Google review
Great spot to eat and enjoy a good view. At the afternoon you get great live music. 🎶 Top are the coconut shrimp, oysters, and the best are the scallops. The lobster and shrimp salad is not as good as it sounds at they only out a small piece of it. Either way try it out !

JB's on the Beach continues to be one of my absolute favorite spots, and I've been lucky enough to visit multiple times. What truly sets this place apart is its amazing location right on the water. The views are simply unbeatable, creating a perfect backdrop for any meal. The vibes are always fantastic, with a lively and relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at ease. A huge draw is their live music on Saturdays, which enhances the experience, especially during their popular brunch. Speaking of brunch, it's a must-try! They offer specialty brunch options and, of course, delicious mimosas to complete the experience. The food is consistently really good. On my last visit, I thoroughly enjoyed the steak with eggs, and the oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful. My husband also loved his meal! Whether you're looking for a delightful brunch with live music, a delicious dinner, or just a great spot for drinks with an incredible view, JB's on the Beach is highly recommended. It truly offers a complete package of delicious food, great drinks, and an unbeatable beachfront ambiance.

Multiple level inside physical outdoor seating. Valet parking only. Expensive parking lot accross street and less expensive but often full parking lot next door. Very attractive space and view. Food good and well presented. Good service. A lot of seafood choices.
Michael L — Google review
I usually don’t like crowded places so I was unsure about this one. Glad we made it in, we valet the car, and were sat immediately (inside), the wait for a table outside at 5 pm on a Saturday was 30-45 mins. You can absolutely walk through the restaurant and access the beach and walk around while you wait. The service was good, the food was fresh, looked beautifully set up on our plates and the atmosphere was perfect. MP for the 12 oysters was $31.

Best salmon bowl I’ve had in a really long time. It was simply exquisite- the salmon was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The portion was just right. Beachfront view is really nice- although the inside is quite nice as well. My waitress was super friendly and helpful!

This facility provides the opportunity for visitors to enjoy wakeboarding and water skiing on the smooth surface of a lake without the disturbances of boat-generated waves. It's an ideal place for both beginners and experienced skiers to practice their skills in a safe environment.
Just came this weekend for my bday. Friends made a reservation the night before and we took Saturday's first timer class. SO GOOD! Z and Phillipe were the names I can remember but EVERYONE on staff was so awesome to us, the rixen operator and golf cart pickup guy- everyone! Great service, clear directions/instruction, and so much encouragement! Every muscle in my body is sore but I look forward to coming back at the regular speed and making it around that first turn. Equipment was in great condition too. Good to know they have wetsuits so I don't have to worry about bringing my own.

Seriously amazing. Every one of the staff on hand are lifeguard certified and eager to guide the students. My kids loved their experience and we want to come to summer camp and share the good news to everyone we know. Ski rixen is the best place to be!!
Elizabeth S — Google review
I visited over the weekend while visiting friends in Fort Lauderdale. I have never been wake boarding before so I went to the 10 AM - 12 PM beginner session when the cable was slowed down. The staff was very informative. Because of their personalized instructions and tips, I was able to get up on only my second attempt and even advanced to the intermediate board by the end of the session, making multiple laps around the park without falling. Definitely excited for my next time wake boarding. Definitely recommend!

Had a great “first” yesterday, visiting the Ski Rixen USA park to wakeboard. Gout up every time but couldn’t get through the buoys until, with lots of their advice and suggestions I managed to get through the first and second sets before I fell just short of the third. Had a blast and looking forward to my next 2 hour class on Sunday. Highly recommend visiting this awesome park!

I wish I knew of Ski Rixen years ago. The staff are amazing. They are always generous and kind in sharing any and all that they know if you so simply ask. It’s always nice going anywhere that makes you feel like you belong, props to the peeps here, truly.

My boys and their friends did 2 forty-five minute sessions at Ski Rixen’s aqua park. They had so much fun and didn’t want to leave! The lifeguards are amazing! Brady and Dylan were the lifeguards. They not only watched the kids very well and made sure they were always safe, but they also interacted and played games with them as well! Such a fun place! Only wish the aqua park was open more days! Highly recommend!

The Deerfield Beach Boardwalk, located just north of the pier, is a true treasure for anyone visiting this charming coastal town. Spanning over a mile along the picturesque beachfront, it offers breathtaking views of the sparkling ocean and serves as an ideal spot for walking, biking, or rollerblading. Its design ensures accessibility for everyone—families with strollers and those using wheelchairs can easily enjoy its beauty.
2nd Review The beach boardwalk is phenomenal - gorgeous beach views, hotels & restaurants, the fishing pier are all stunning ! It doesn't get better than this ! 1st Review The holiday decorations are fun & festive along the Deerfield Beach Boardwalk. It's a lovely walk with amazing restaurants, a fishing pier, shaded huts with tables and seating, public bathrooms, showers, and water fountains. They host mant activities throughout the year - car shows, live music, holiday celebrations and festivals. Paid parking is available in meters and a large parking garage. Highly recommend a visit !!!

Breathtaking views, safe and clean. We took the chance to take a walk on the broad walk at night with some winds and it turned out to be a worthwhile experience.

The beach was exceptional; we found it highly enjoyable. While sunbed and umbrella rentals were costly, the expense was justified. We plan to return.
Manuel ( — Google review
Crowded, No Parking, and Not a Sophisticated Atmosphere Visiting Deerfield Beach Pier was not the best experience. The biggest issue is the lack of parking—it’s extremely difficult to find a spot, which makes the visit frustrating from the start. The area is also very crowded, with heavy traffic and a chaotic atmosphere. While there are plenty of cafés and restaurants near the beach, they don’t help with the congestion, and the whole place feels overwhelming. Despite the number of dining options, the area itself doesn’t feel luxurious or aesthetically pleasing. There’s a lot of loud music, and unfortunately, there was also a strong smell of marijuana in the air. If you prefer a more refined, peaceful setting, I’d recommend heading north rather than south. On the positive side, the pier is a nice feature, and there were many families with kids enjoying the beach. However, if you’re looking for a relaxing or upscale experience, this might not be the best spot.

Great job by the city and community!!! This place rebounded after the pandemic and restarted with a new and refreshed ocean life. A family atmosphere with a beautiful ocean to enjoy. The restaurants are ready to indulge the most demanding taste. Do not miss this place if you are visiting our town!!

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing ocean view 🌊. Relaxed atmosphere and tasty food, though the fish tends to be slightly overcooked and the batter could be fresher. Staff is friendly, sometimes forget small details, but they correct mistakes quickly. Nice bar and a solid wine list. Overall, a pleasant spot and definitely worth a visit for the view and vibe.

Who doesn’t love a view of the beach while enjoying a nice lunch?! Drinks were well crafted, service was amazing. The “smash” burger was very good however I would not consider it a smash burger as the patty was pretty thick- more of just a regular cheeseburger.
Hunter M — Google review
Super Dissapointed! I’m from the area and have been to JB’s next door several times for years. I walked in no expectations but it didn’t take long before I was super disappointed. The service from Jose was awful. It felt rushed and the entire service his tone was condescending. His manager (woman with curly hair) took away our full appetizers that and didn’t care to ask what was wrong with the sour burrata and soggy calamari. The entrees I will say were amazing but I don’t like anything smoked so I asked for the Demi glaze on the side. The filet mignon came drenched in the sauce and I had to wait another 20 min before Jose came back to the table. Another 20 min later the food came out and was actually quite delicious. I would like to say that I’d be open to returning for another delicious filet mignon with NO SMOKED DEMI GLAZE and charred asparagus but the service was bad enough for me to refrain. It was a slow semi rainy night and there was no reason for the awful service or bad attitudes from Jose and his manager. Food runners were all nice but that’s where it ends I suppose. Also the dulce de leche cremé brûlée would have been great if it wasn’t piled to the ceiling with sea salt.

Brian was our server and was delightful. He is pleasant, funny, engaged, proactive and anticipatory. The view can’t be beat and the kitchen does a great job with the food.My husband recently developed a severe intolerance to gluten, garlic, onions and Fructans which is difficult for us to handle at home, let alone at a restaurant. The fact that Brian was well versed on ingredients and was able to make suggestions to us was impressive. The kitchen folks did an amazing job on his food with his restrictions and it was actually the best meal he’s had out since this happened. Mine was the Scallops and Mushroom Risotto and was fantastic!. Thank you so much to the entire staff of Oceans 234 you guys are THE BEST!

I enjoyed a great dinner last night here. The bartenders were great. I forget their names and I’m sorry because they were good vibes. The steak was cooked perfectly with the sauce on top was very good. The ceviche was also really delicious with the right amount of tang for the sauce the ceviche was in. I recommend this place for sure. The steak being 55 dollars . You get what you pay for. Do you want a rowdy place or a quiet place to enjoy your time and a meal. Thanks guys

Additionally, Island Water Sports operates as a surf shop where customers can purchase a wide range of gear, clothing, and accessories for water sports and skateboarding.
Went in to enter a raffle today, and walked out with a raffle entry and a pair of Nike Dunk SB Seattle SuperSonics. The environment is welcoming and staff is very polite and helpful. This shop is a little distance from me but worth the drive. I have found a new surf/ skate shop that I will frequent more often now.

We had an amazing experience. Check in was easy. The instructors were so kind and helpful. My son had so much fun learning how to surf and can't wait for his next lesson. We will definitely be doing it again.

I recently attended the Saturday morning surf camp with my 5-year-old, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Despite a massive turnout, the staff remained incredibly organized and made a clear effort to keep everything running smoothly. They thoroughly covered all safety protocols, which gave me peace of mind right from the start. The waves that morning were particularly choppy, so it was a bit intimidating to watch such a large group of beginners head out. But the team gathered, prayed together, and got to work with professionalism and care. The instructors were encouraging, attentive, and truly went the extra mile to ensure everyone, including my son (who was surfing for the first time), had a chance to catch a wave safely. After my son decided he’d had enough of the rough surf, we stopped by the shop to learn more about their skate camp. Once again, the staff were kind, supportive, and very knowledgeable. I’m genuinely impressed by the way this organization gives back to the community offering youth fun, active experiences that don’t involve screens and encouraging a healthy, engaged lifestyle. I’ll be a lifelong supporter and client. Truly thank you and keep up the incredible work!

Island Water Sports is iconic! Great owners and employees. (Linsey!!!) Terrific dedication to the community...from the free surf lessons offered weekly to the surf and skate camps...my family has enjoyed them all! And, by the way, they also sell some pretty cool products, all the main surf brands, plus some local goods..

This is the first time we have tried surf lessons with our daughter and it was such a fun experience. Victor was our instructor and he had an immediate rapport with her that made her comfortable and willing to take instruction. She accomplished skills that she had never achieved before. She had a great time and she gained even more of a love for the sport. We will definitely do this again!

Always a great experience! If you want to experience South Florida as a local, you have to stop at Island Water Sports. Rent a board and carry it down to the beach. Not hard at all! They also have the highest quality surf wear you'll find anywhere so it's a great place to shop for clothes or for gifts to take back home with you. Then grab yourself a coffee at the coffee shop attached to the shop! Win-win.

Visited on a work trip to get some Deerfield souvenirs but this was one of the highlights of my trip! The vibe at this place is immaculate and the employees were so nice, welcoming, and helpful. The design in the store is on another level but the amount of things they have is amazing! They have everything you could want/need at the beach. Definitely visit if you’re in the area!!

Hamburger restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Charm City Burger Company is a compact spot known for its standout burgers, French fries, and microbrews. It's a great place to unwind with a drink alone or with friends. Despite its unassuming exterior, this casual joint in Deerfield Beach serves some of the best burgers in town. The restaurant also welcomes furry companions at its outdoor pet-friendly tables.
Charm city burger company is the best hamburger in all of south Florida. They use their own proprietary blend of beef created by the owners of the business. There are many different options here aside from burgers, including fresh made chicken tenders, hotdog, Philly, cheesesteaks, and chicken sandwiches. My favorite thing aside from the burgers are there tater tots. I know, tater tots are so simple, but sometimes they can most definitely be made poorly. I've never had a bad burger at charm city and I have been coming here for the better part of a decade. Service is always good, but you can't really mess up a fast casual set up. It's always bright and cheery there and the employees always have a smile on their face! You're going for your first time, get one of their classic burgers. On this particular occasion, I got the cowboy burger with no bun and a side of tater tots.

Now that’s a burger! We were looking for a burger joint and came across Charm City Burger on Google Maps. We noticed LOTS of positive reviews, and rightly so. They use quality meat and prepare it to your liking. The burger was full of flavor. Quick service. Friendly staff. Very fair pricing. Clean location.

Probably the best burger in Deerfield Beach and surrounding area. Been on my bucket list for quite some time so I’m glad to finally gave it a try. Love the menu as they are truly chef-inspired with some amazing ingredients and recipes. We had their most popular menu, The Cowboy, which was full of flavor and delicious. We also ordered The Emperor which I have to say was our favorite of the two. This is an American Wagyu burger. I’ll surely come back to try the other menu.
Michael M — Google review
We just moved to the area and are trying out some of the restaurants close by. This was recommended and upon seeing the photos and reviews, we were thoroughly intrigued however the visit overall was disappointing. I ordered my burger to be medium well and it was as dry as a hockey puck. The fries also were half crispy bits which were not really edible due to the hardness of them. It felt like they didn’t try with our meal.

Thus spot has been in my bucket lost for a while. Then my good friend co-signed this burger spot and said we have to order now. Oh my God, this burger was absolutely 💯 amazing 😋 I got the Good Ole Burger with side of Tater Tots and Onionn Rings. The ladies all got the Hippie Burger on lettuce. We devoured this meal while linking my fingers with every bite. The extra charm sause on the side was Gold. Definitely, on the Top 5 spots 👌 on our trip out here. I'll Be Back!!!
Kevin B — Google review
I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and it was amazing. There was plenty of meat and the roll was nice. I will order again to try one of their burgers!

Must try the emperor Burger. Food taste great. You have to go all the way up to the counter to order and then you sit down. I walked in that first and sat down and it was wondering why nobody came to the table to take an order. But the atmosphere was good I was parking on the side.

Sullivan Park, located on the waterfront of Deerfield Beach, has a rich history as it was once home to a 1920s packinghouse and later transformed into The Riverview Club. Today, it is a popular family destination with shaded playgrounds and a vibrant splash pad for children to enjoy. The park offers picturesque views of the Gulf Stream and provides a boat dock for visitors. Additionally, it serves as an ideal spot for fishing along the Intracoastal Waterway.
A secret gem that isn’t so secret anymore! Sullivan has something for everyone… -Playground for toddlers and elementary -dozens of places to sit in the sun or shade to watch the boats, bridge, Deerfield island or watch your kids play. -lots of boat slips -bathrooms -large splash pad -boat rentals -free parking as long as you check in your license plate Tons of stuff to spend the day and not want to leave. One of the many spots that make me proud to be a local 🤘🏼

The ferry to Deerfield Island departs from here. If you don't want to go to the island, you can still enjoy the canal from here. While your children enjoy the playground, you can sip your coffee. I think it's great to grab a chair and sit by the canal. The restrooms are clean. The playgrounds are spotlessly clean. Best of all, parking is free :)) I think it's a place worth visiting and trying.

Nestled in the heart of Deerfield Beach, The Whale's Rib is a beloved seafood haven that has been delighting patrons since 1980. This charming beach cafe/bar exudes an old-time Florida vibe, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day by the ocean. With its laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff, you'll feel right at home as you savor their renowned dishes like the Lobster Reuben and Conch Fritters.
For those who like fresh and well-prepared seafood, I recommend it here. My husband loves oysters and I love mussels, especially when made in tomato sauce (also fresh tomatoes). In two days I tried three places and without a doubt this was the best seafood and oysters I ate. The apparently old place, with a different decoration, scattered car plates from different places on the walls, but very cozy and the food is great,

We come here very often. It is one of our favorite spots. Today I had the grouper fingers. They were delicious and so much food I could not finish. My wife had the Tuna and she loved it. I love the chips and the yellow mustard house sauce they have. Its great on everything! Whales Rib never disapoints! We love this place.

This place has great food. The fried grouper fis sandwich was FABULOUS. It was seasoned nicely, a big piece of fish, and the bun was soft. What a great sandwich. The fried clams..delicious. Their potato chips are thin and seasoned just right. You get a lot of them, so eat up! This place is a hidden gem for good food! I'll definitely go again!

Seemed nice and priced right then turned out not great. Waited a long time for Takeout Order . Disappointed. Mahi very "fishy." Definitely not fresh! Mahi should never taste fishy ! It was as fishy as old trout. You're definitely was MSG in the food because I am allergic to MSG and I started to have a mild familiar reaction. Bread was dark like German bread ok ...Asked for butter and tartar . wasn't in the bag....then as I decided to risk eating it ....Broccoli had spoiled mold ! Butter as a melted tasteless tub of grease next to the fish I asked for butter on the side, real butter Idk....they acted like I was asking for too much. I was over charged told they'd throw in a side charged for it and rotten. Obviously chose the wrong restaurant kicking myself for not going next door.... this was a rare one time occasion .....(rarely if at all) treat myself) .. waitress disappeared and seemed a bit tipsy not to happy about this mess .Miss the old days of fresh made. Pray I don't get food poisoning sick! Small are the chance of getting refund...I bet tomorrow I will call and complain and ask for a refund. Moment of treating myself to a sandwich was kind of special. Yes my stomach not feeling too hot after a few bites ...don't recommend this place at all ...go elsewhere until they clean up the kitchen.

Old school local beach bar and restaurant. Nothing fancy, but has good typical bar food. It’s a small spot, so you might have to wait for a table or spot at the bar during peak times. If they have them try the house made chips/fries. I get them with my cheeseburger, they’re really good.

it's a spot which gives you an old timey beach town restaurant vibe. food was surprisingly good. oysters were clean taste. fish sandwich was a hit. whale fries is just a basket of home made chips. some of chips were a little bit too oily for me. over all, a good place to eat if you are in the neighborhood

Visitors can take free tours on Saturday mornings to explore this rich piece of Deerfield Beach's history. Additionally, the society operates three other sites within the city.

Shai F — Google review
I came over for one of the free tours they offer on Saturday mornings. This is one of four sites that the Deerfield Beach Historical Society operates in the city. The historic home was the residence of James D. and Alice Butler. They married in 1906 in Texas and came to visit a relative in Florida in 1910 and ended up staying. James had made money by owning a small grocery store. Later when he moved to Deerfield Beach he farmed green beans. The house was built in a Mediterranean Revival style according to plans Alice won in a Ladies Home Journal contest. The 2 story house cost $10,000 to build. The only change Alice made to the plans was that they she didn't want the step down into the dining room that was common in houses of that period because she didn't want the children she was planning for to trip and fall. Sadly due to a medical condition Alice was never able to bear children. Instead she and James looked after the children of the community and were very active in causes for them. James was a member of the first Broward School Board in 1915. There is still a scholarship in their name that is given to this day to every student who graduates from Deerfield Beach High School. Alice formed the first women's club and James served as a Broward County Commissioner. They were both active in their church. The furniture in the house is almost entirely original except for the dining room table that was broken and replaced when it was used to cover up a window during the 1928 Hurricane. In 1974 the houses was designated a historic site. The Butler's left the house to the Deerfield beach Historical Society in 1977. They operate a small gift shop in the back of the house. Besides the house the property also has a Kester Cottage which was economical housing in the early 1920's. It looks like it was being used for storage. Another nice feature of the property is the 100 year old banyan tree. My tour was conducted by a young volunteer. She did an amazing job and I learned a lot about people I had previously heard of but did not know that much about. If you are interested in visiting a city wide garage sale is being held at the Butler house on January 31st. More dates for tours can be found on the historical society's website.

I hadn’t visited in quite a while and met family there for an afternoon activity. The place has been expanded and redone. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although we are in the Florida summer, the heat was tolerable. They do have fans running in select areas. Amazing experience seeing SOOOO many butterflies 🦋 in a natural habitat! So many colors and species. They also have an aviary and you can feed the birds. Two indoor buildings have insect and butterfly exhibits. If you’ve never been, I’d encourage to plan an afternoon stroll. A bit pricey yet it’s one of those…..once in a lifetime maybe. The little children (and big kids inside us) will enjoy!

I went here last week with my son and husband. The place was clean and well-maintained and it has a variety of areas, including a bird and insect attraction. The staff were very friendly and approachable. They were there to give information if requested, but didn’t cover around you or follow you. Most of the butterflies are inside a dome enclosure with netting on top so if you are thinking about planning a visit when it’s raining, you will get wet if you do not have proper gear. We spent about an hour and a half to two hours here which was plenty of time to see everything. I would go back again.

A Hidden Gem! I had a spicy margarita and the combo fajitas—both were absolutely delicious. They even offered chips and salsa on the house, which was a nice touch. The ambiance really stood out, especially the illuminated countertop bar—it gave the place a modern yet cozy vibe. Our waitress kept walking off and when it was time for me to pay the employees were chatting in the back for about 20 minutes or more! Very inattentive and poor overall service. Not priced very well either.. Over 20 dollars for 3 tacos?! are you kidding me?! also the flan is way too sweet. and I'm no picky eater!

It was my first time here and I came on a Tuesday. I got this drink with guava, Guavarita it was so good. I recommend it. The restaurant has margaritas at a good price. It seems they have this awesome deal going with the tacos. We all got the tacos. The restaurant had a good selection to choose from. Most places only give you maybe 4 but this place has a good selection. They gave us a menu and a list to write down how many and which one. They then brought us the tacos. I liked them. I found them all good. The service was good and friendly. Olivia was great. We originally had to wait for twenty minutes to be seated. There is no fan bar you can wait. The counter is crowded with restaurant stuff. That would be my only complaint.

Chef Emilio travels to Yucatán, Mexico every 3 weeks to bring over the spices they use to make their dishes perfect. You can truly taste the quality. I was absolutely blown away by every dish we ordered. This a a family establishment and when you dine there you’ll feel like family. The servers are on point and will never let your drink be empty. They are very observant and are some of the best I’ve seen. I myself have eaten multiple tacos in Mexico and the food here is just as good, if not better. Emilio’s daughter Tita took over the restaurant 2 years ago and is doing an amazing job carrying out Emilio’s vision. This restaurant is a staple to our community and we will continue to dine here.

My husband and I had dinner there last night. It felt like a nice hidden gem away from the hotel area. We were greeted by a super friendly host and seated right away. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful. Our server was very knowledgeable and explained the flavors of menu items perfectly as I was asking for suggestions. The food and drinks were delicious. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area, and we will be back next time we visit.

Incredible experience! Emilio, the owner, went out of his way to personally grab me a special bottle of champagne that was not available at the bar. Food was fantastic! I am plant-based & gluten free and they were able to accommodate me easily. Staff is so friendly! I definitely will be back.

A true neighborhood gem! The food here was spot-on — fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Our waiter, Davide, was fantastic, and the owner went above and beyond to help us pick the perfect dishes. Great food, great service, and such a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend! 🌮🔥

After reading the reviews on the place. I decided to visit the place anyway and check it out for myself. I came to Planet Air with my three kids and all the stuff's were on hands with the kids when it came to showing them how to used the ropes. The place is really clean and the nice lady behind the counter at the food stands are very generous and pleasant to talk to. She has a great personality that would make me want to come back just so my kids can play there. Plus, the manager is Awesome too ! Definitely would come back for more fun time 😊😊😊👍👍👍

Loved it. We heard about this place over the summer, but waited until we had 50% off coupons to go. My kids had an absolute blast. We went on a Friday afternoon at 3:00, and stayed until about 8:00. The place got a little more crowded around 5:00, but there was no line for any attraction. Food is expensive, but our coupon included pizza and a drink. I had to drag my 15, 13 and 11 year old out at 8:00, they would have stayed til close. I love how the place is designed, packs in a lot of activities. I have read comments about the teenage workers, but when I thanked two of them for helping my daughter, they looked shocked, and responded with huge grins. I got the impression they were not used to being thanked. They have a tough job, and I don't think they receive any recognition in return. Try a little kindness. When we got home, 50% coupons were still online so I bought more.

Great place for the family to enjoy some actual physical fun! The Combo tickets are a great value if you're just trying the place out and the Super Pass is a great deal if you're in for the whole day! Don't forget the arcade hidden in the back too.... Fun games and descent payouts of tickets 😀 I personally love the ropes course... I'm almost 40 and scared of heights. It was challenging and scary... In the fun way! Nice selection and good prices in the cafe too. Most staff is very friendly and eager to help out.

The establishment was beautiful and I had a really great time with my family. The staff was really nice and friendly. It's perfect for a party because you know everyone, kids and adults, will have fun. The prices were fair and the lines weren’t as time consuming as they are in other places like this, I’m very grateful for that. Since I’m an athletic person I loved this place because it really motivated me to be proactive in such a different and inventive way. I loved the rock climbing and the zip line.

Amazing place! The kids can play all day long! Good snacks! When buy a Groupon promo be aware about what you are buying. Usually It is for a trampoline! Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, located on a barrier island in Boca Raton, is a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and families. The 20-acre coastal sanctuary offers a variety of attractions, including a boardwalk with a lookout point, butterfly garden, and sea turtle tanks. Visitors can also explore the lush grounds and spot diverse wildlife such as iguanas and sharks. The center serves as an educational hub for environmental conservation and research, providing refuge to rare and endangered plant and animal species.
Stopped here with my boyfriend during our week-long Florida vacation; never been to such an interesting nature center with no entrance fee. Eels, adult sea turtles, rays, and many different fish in outdoor tanks; seahorses and baby sea turtles in the indoor lab (which is pretty small). If I had the one of these nearby I’d go all the time.

This was one of our favorite things we did in our entire vacation. We had a blast looking at the awesome spiders. A whole lot to see. Great views. Kid friendly. Free to get in but please donate it helps they so very much!!! Front desk was SUPER helpful and everyone on the staff was friendly and courteous. Definitely can't wait to bring all my children to experience the fun 😊

This nature center by far is a must-visit! The staff are above and beyond helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. The aquatic life is fascinating along with the free roaming turtles and butterfly garden. There is a room that is used to assist infant turtles in their growth as well as starfish and seahorse viewings. The nature trails are so peaceful with a variety of different walks to complete (you choose how long you want to walk/which paths, if not all). There is a viewing area to see the entire grounds that is accessible by wheelchair/strollers as well as stairs if you prefer. This nature center offers educational classes and events throughout the month. What strikes me as unbelievable is Gumbo Limbo is FREE. They do accept donations-I would recommend at least $10.

Parking is difficult on weekends, not many spaces. Go early. Free entrance, donation appreciated. Nice boardwalk trail through the mangroves to observation tower. Wheelchair friendly ramp to get you to the top. Beautiful aquatic displays, large fish and turtles. Overview of the FAU turtle nursery. Relaxing walk through the butterfly garden. Take repellent for this part, lot is warnings of mosquitoes. Great for kids and anyone into nature.

An awesome day at Gumbo Limbo!! It was overcast with a light breeze most of the time, muggy for the rest. LOTS of spiders!! 😎 We saw a lot of crabs, birds, fish, a Kemp Ridley sea turtle, butterflies, and 2 Gopher Tortoises. FAU has a marine science laboratory there, that was interesting to watch the students work, they also had a few tanks in there with starfish and seahorses. The Tower is nice for viewing the surrounding area. Boardwalks were ready to navigate. No admission price, but donations are accepted and very much appreciated.

We love this place! Super well kept. The staff are very friendly and its so nice to see FAU students getting involved and doing research there. Mizner Park is a charming outdoor shopping and leisure destination located in Boca Raton, South Florida. Named after the renowned architect Addison Mizner, this area offers upscale retailers, dining options ranging from high-end to casual, and various entertainment events such as the annual bark in the park. Surrounded by elegant condos and close to attractions like the Boca Raton Museum of Art, it's a hub for both locals and visitors.
I lived in Boca for 30+years.. This was one of my favorite places to go. We usually ate at Yard House and always found the food to be decent. Pretty good presence of police at Mizner. I have to say somewhat justifiable on some nights. Shopping at the stores is not cheap, but I can only imagine what the rent is for space there. All in all a great destination.
PDW — Google review
Absolutely love Mizner Park! It is absolutely delightful at any time of day. It is lovely to walk around in the morning and enjoy a coffee or smoothie outside or enjoy a late night out in the town at one of the many popular restaurants. There are plenty of cultural events that take place throughout the year that are family friendly and fun for all to enjoy. There are the big staple restaurants as well as smaller cafes and little shops. There is always a good time to be had at Mizner Park. We love it here! 🤩

Boca Raton is probably a very quality and neat place to stay, but for shorter visits, apart from the beautiful Atlantic coastline, it is quite boring. The same goes for Mizner Park, nothing special to see. And it is not a real shopping mall but rather a smaller type retail park.

Only knock is a little slow slow on service but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt being that it was later on a Sunday. Other than that though, wow, the food was amazing. We came from the beach, looking for a quick bite to eat. After searching for a bunch of restaurants and reading their reviews, I found this GEM!! I called them to confirm if it was just seafood and they said They have a little bit of everything and they did not lie! We ordered the buffalo wings which were super delicious! The sauce tastes, and the meat was a great texture. My Partner ordered the chicken Alfredo substitute steak instead of chicken. At first, the Alfredo did not look very presentable, But the smell taste were a great nine out of 10 !! I asked them to make me a margarita substitute Hennessy instead of tequila and they did it with a smile and they tasted amazing! Thank you so much for our experience here! I will definitely be back.
Brittany K — Google review
I’m a regular here and always loved the food, but I have to say I really miss a couple of the old menu items. The volcano rolls with seaweed salad used to be amazing — now they’re called crab egg rolls and come with arugula, which honestly doesn’t work for me at all. Seaweed gave it that special touch, arugula just doesn’t compare. Also, the potato-shelled tuna tacos were one of the best things on the menu, and now they’re completely gone. Such a unique and delicious item, it really should have stayed! The rolls are still delicious and the place overall is great, but losing those two items took away part of what made this spot so special.
Natalia B — Google review
Very good food and drinks, and so convenient while on the beach. The Turkey Club is great with sweet potato fries. Cuban sandwich is good. Clam chowder soup can be good when done right, but not always the case.
Enrique G — Google review
Awful awful service. Food isn’t that great either. Only good for a pint on the beach. 45min wait from getting waters to having our order taken. And the place was maybe 1/4 full. Came back another night for quick takeout. Ordered at the bar, waited 15 min for the food, only to be told they’re out. Then another 10 minutes for the manager to give me a refund.
Shayne E — Google review
So I definitely think the food quality was far from good. Fries were super oily to say the least, but what definitely made our experience better was my very attentive and friendly bartender ED. She was super friendly and my wife and I will definitely be back just because of her enthusiasm and wonderful service. Not the food or the funky smell.

$35 for parking (they give 50% off for military discount). It was well worth it because you can enjoy a quieter beach. The beach and the restrooms were clean. Parking was plenty. However, dogs, smoking, and alcohol are not allowed. The water wasn't deep. We had a very good experience here.

Great park, mostly locals because it’s a bit pricey for tourists. Lots of space to have picnics and grill outs! There are playgrounds and bathrooms, all the necessary requirements. Perfect spot to relax on a Sunday morning.

Our favorite ⛱️ beach we go at least once or twice a week, more when time allows. Beautiful park.. too bad the artificial reef is no longer, as it was amazing to be able to snorkel right off the beach. The weather and waves are creative havoc and still the park is perfect and the natural dunes help to protect Boca.

Red Reef Park in Boca Raton is a great spot! You can enjoy the beach, go for a swim, and even have a BBQ in the picnic areas. However, it's mainly for Boca Raton residents who can purchase an annual pass. For non-residents, the entrance fee is around $30–$50 per day — so it’s up to you to decide if it’s worth it.

Cool park, with showers and clean toilets. There is a children's playground and picnic areas. The sand is clean. You can watch small crabs on the reef. I recommend visiting.

Upsides: far less seaweed than Pompano or even Deerfield. Lifeguards, beautiful boardwalk, bathrooms, chairs/umbrellas for rent. Hourly park across the street. Downside: parking onsite is flat $35 for the day. Very lil to break the waves, so the water is rough.

We went on a Saturday afternoon. I was surprised it is $50 to park at the parking the lot across the street was full. I have been here twice with two different groups. The quick short answer everyone love everything. If you need details and are convincing to come read on. First up find parking and make sure you paid. They do give tickets in the area. There's plenty of seating inside but there is also a few tables overlooking the beach and pier. Plenty of breakfast options for everyone. The price and portions are good, too, along with quality. Coffee is excellent and there are a wide assortment of adult beverages. I have had the Farmers Hash and omelette. The hash potatoes are excellent as well as the bread they serve. Everything else was great, as well as the service. Great place to people watch and enjoy the views from. You can go for nice walk after the meal too. Enjoy and support the good local spots.

The food was flavorful and served promptly. However, the indoor seating area was not up to standard, with tables and chairs appearing sticky and unclean. Additionally, we were incorrectly charged for avocado, which we neither ordered nor received. Furthermore, the staff did not assist a customer in a wheelchair who required help, as they were preoccupied with their phones. Overall, the experience was disappointing

super expensive for cheap basic food. plane pancakes are $10 and any side is an extra $6 and an extra $3 for toppings. I spent $25 on pancakes with sausage. food is very bland and they cheap you out on small portions. Workers are nice. But not worth it. No effort. The worker did take the sausage off my check (didn’t taste like anything and were chewy) and gave me half off the pancakes because I didn’t eat any of the food. They were respectful and kind so I gave them a tip still, the owner or manage just buys shitty food and ingredients so their food isn’t great.

Solid breakfast spot and great location, right on the beach and the water looks so nice. Beware of sitting to close to anything a bird could land on above you. Watched a bird poop right on the table next to me lol. It’s a touristy spot so the service is decent but our server got us our food quickly and would check in with us frequently. The farmer’s hash bowl I had was good, can’t complain. No alternative milk for the coffee tho.

We came here while on vacation and sat outside it was perfect! The breakfast was amazing! I got the eggs Benedict and Potatoes, I'm still thinking about them! The service was amazing! The only thing that was weird was they had a lot of people who would walk up and want to sit down. There were no visible signs except inside at the front or at the door that you must see the hostess to be seated. There was probably 5-8 people who tried to sit down and no one was very nice about it. They would say see the hostess, like they were supposed to know. I think they should some how block off the dining area or put more signs out!

This used to be our "go to" Mexican restaurant while living in Boca. We went back to visit since took a day trip back down, and boy how prices changed. We had a 3 small steak taco plate and 1 burrito for lunch, 2 ice waters and bill was $41.00 plus tip I wasn't planning on a $50.00 lunch. Was it good? Yes, but nothing outstanding. Unfortunately, we will have to remember how it used to be a good value, but definitely not worth it for the price now. Oh yeah, surcharge applied for CC and not disclosed. Food was good, service was good, but nothing exceptional. Should we have seen prices and left? Maybe, but we didn't, hoping it would be worth it.

What a great choice! The place has great AC and decoration, funny glass window that looks like sunset and made me forget how hot it was outside. The food was very authentic and delicious. The first round of salsa and tortillas chips were free and the second was only $1.99. We ordered some guacamole on the side and it was so fresh, delicious and kept a us busy for main course. We shared a beef fajitas and we asked for corn tortillas, we absolutely loved it! Suddenly it was happy hour time and we decided to stick around for margaritas 2 for 1 $8 and so the beers. All the menu had reasonable price. I highly recommend Baja café.

The stadium was constructed in 2011 through fundraising efforts that included donations, student fees, and naming rights. With 32 boxes and 24 luxury suites, it offers state-of-the-art facilities for spectators.

Very loud and feel vibrations in end zone by giant TV. They had free water and cooling fans on ground floor. Nice stadium. Disappointing not a lot of people at game. Outside stadium, was sooooo full of students, fans, tailgaters before game. Seemed like most of them didn't go to the actual game. Very festive. Many fight songs. Band was little but great. FAU football team kicked butt big time!!! Cheer squads were very enthusiastic.

FAU Stadium is home to the Boca Bowl! Great views from most seats, but food options are limited and pricey. Parking can be a hassle, especially for high-profile games, so plan to arrive early. Overall, FAU Stadium offers a great college football experience with a few minor drawbacks.

We were invited as guests for the business education alumni (because of a 3-day leadership class I had attended). We also were invited to and attended a family-friendly tailgate party! We had a great time! Thank you, FAU! Go owls 🙂
Tiffany H — Google review
Of all the college football stadiums in Florida, this may be the best. Only the colleges that play in NFL stadiums (USF, Miami) have better gametime facilities for their home games. We visited here for the Boca Raton Bowl game and were impressed with Howard Schnellenberger field at FAU. Sideline seating was on benches with backrests and chairback seats, not bleachers. The structure was solid and didn't shake when fans stomped around. It was easy to move around and get to concession and rest room areas. My critique was that parking was disorganized and crowd control at the gate was lacking. Also concession lines were very long and beverages ran out by halftime.... No beer, then no bottled water. Thankfully it was a night game in December and there were no dehydration problems.
Joe G — Google review
Experienced this stadium via attendance to a bowl game. Parking was easy across the street. Entrances were plentiful and staff was great. Only clear bags allowed like most sports venues and no umbrellas. Sat on 50 yard line but I don't really think there is a bad seat in the house as it is a smaller stadium. Don't get the pizza..

The home of the FAU Owls on the north end of Florida Atlantic University holds 30000 fans. The stadium boasts state of the art equipment and grounds. Every year the Boca Raton Bowl is played here. This year USF and Syracuse played. A premier lounge sponsored by Acura is located on the top floor. Plenty of Big screen TVs, free food and soft drinks and a cash bar. There’s also a nice view of the field from the windows.

The Arboretum at Constitution Park is a serene and enchanting place, containing more than 200 exotic trees from all over the world. The 9-acre park offers visitors a half-mile accessible path to explore, with plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the scenery. The park also features two misting waterfalls in its tropical rainforest section, as well as basketball courts, tennis courts, and a playground for visitors before their nature walk.
Wow-what an amazing place. I have been to a lot of botanical gardens and this place was top notch! So many wonderful species of palms and trees that even I hadn’t seen before. It was well maintained with easy to walk paths. Absolutely beautiful!

First of all, don't forget to leave a heart so that we can establish the balance of giving and receiving. ✌🏼🧡 As if it's a corner of heaven.. Quiet, calm and peaceful... This arboretum with various exotic trees has a children's playground, basketball court, and a mini waterfall. If you're ever in this area, definitely stop by. In fact, grab your recommended book and coffee and enjoy the peace..

Overall very nice place to relax and unwind. They have several different pavilions surrounded by lush plants. Numerous varieties of plants and trees to see here including fruit trees. This tropical paradise is best experienced if you bring some bug spray with you. Free entry by and plenty of areas for kids to play. They even have tennis courts.

This is a beautiful, serene nature trail with tennis courts & upgraded children's playground. A must-see is the Rainbow Tree and waterfalls. The vibe is like being in the mountains without the mountains. Yoga & seasonal events. Free admission & parking. There is a small farmers market just outside the park.

Interesting display of several unusual types of trees and plants labeled with their names. You can walk on the paved path, or venture off the path. There are small streams that run through the park and plenty of shade. There is a playground, restrooms, and water fountain. There is ample parking and no admittance fee.

Great variety of palms and other tropical trees, flowering trees, and plants. Nicely labeled. Mostly level walk, mostly in the shade. Playground. Free admission.

Nestled in a cozy corner, Tradition Restaurant is a delightful casual eatery that transports you straight to France with its authentic cuisine and warm ambiance. As soon as you step inside, the charming atmosphere envelops you, enhanced by soft French melodies playing in the background. The attentive staff are not only friendly but also well-versed in the menu, ensuring your dining experience is seamless. Celebrating special occasions here feels extra magical; whether it's an anniversary or a birthday, every detail is taken care of.
This place is amazing! When we went, we had to make reservations so maybe keep that in mind. The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Highly highly suggest the duck, lamb, and lobster fettucine. We did not get the chance to try the escargot but I will definitely come back for that and more. At the end of dinner, the chef came and greet all the table as well.
Karen — Google review
This is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who loves French food and appreciates a talented chef. Authentic is a word that applies to every aspect of Tradition. The food, the atmosphere, the service will make you think you are in Paris. The escargot was fabulous, with the garlic/herb/butter mixture in the shell light and flavorful — as good or better than any I had in Paris not too long ago. A Caesar salad was fresh and light with thin Parmesan wafers that served as croutons and added just the right amount of crunch. For the main course half crispy duck with Bing cherry sauce and gratin potatoes was flavorful, perfectly cooked, just fabulous. Of course we had to have an order of pommes frites for the table and they were lcrispy and flavorful. The owners of Tradition, including chef Eric Heintz, are French. Chef Heintz is a true artist creating memorable dishes. (He was a sous chef previously at a 2-star Michelin restaurant in Switzerland. His other credentials are impressive but it’s what he puts on the plate that is of the highest level.) The service was great, attentive and efficient. And as an extra bit of quirky charm that was reminiscent of dining in Paris, late in the evening Chef came out from the kitchen (stopping at every table to ask if everyone was satisfied) and played two songs on the Baldwin upright piano, including one from the movie Amelie! If you love French food this is a spectacular restaurant. (Dessert photos including, light and delicious apple tart plus airy tasty Napoleon.)
David P — Google review
I went there last night for the 1st time at the recommendation of a friend who advise me if you're ever in the Deerfield Beach area you must stop at Tradition French Restaurant. I'm glad I remembered. While we went to the restaurant very early and was the first to be seated, by the time we left they were almost full. And this is on a Thursday evening. It seems most of the people are local so they are in the "know". We were fortunate that they were offering their special summer menu in addition to the regular menu. The food was almost identical on both menus, but the pricing on the summer menu was a good value if you wanted an appetizer, main course and a dessert. Everything on the summer menu was also available on the regular menu so it wasn't like they were giving you some different type of food. However, not everything on the regular menu was on the summer special menu. However, we had no difficulty in finding great food in each category. I started off with the French onion soup. Soup was very good though I would opt to just get the cheese on the top of the soup the next time instead of the cheese and bread. I thought the bread was a bit too much. However, the soup was excellent. For main course I ordered the half roast duck, which was fantastic. Nice a crispy - not to mention a very large portion. I took 1/2 of the order home for dinner tonight! (see photo attached). It came with an excellent fresh cherry sauce and despite additional sauce being an extra charge, they brought it gratuitously without being asked. By the way, the service is excellent. It appears that this is a family affair and everybody cares very much about the food and the experience. Another hit was the desserts. We tried the apple tart and Napoleon, both were amazing. Even though this restaurant is more than an hour drive from our home, we will be back. We will not wait to be in the area, it's that good! They have a restaurant in France that is run by their family since 1829!

I have been here many times and it never fails to amaze me from the appetizers, to the entrees, to the dessert. Everything is cooked to perfection and the atmosphere is incredible. The chef came out at the end of the night to play piano and a gentleman decided to join by signing and the atmosphere and service could not be better.

It is such a lovely restaurant! The food is so fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant! A gem in Deerfield Beach.

Absolutely loved my experience at Tradition in Deerfield Beach! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a charming French bistro vibe. The service was impeccable—our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. The food was nothing short of exquisite. I had Brandon's Half Crispy Duck, which was perfectly cooked, with a crispy skin and tender meat, complemented beautifully by the gratin potatoes, fresh vegetables, and the rich Bing cherry sauce. My partner had the Dover Sole Meunière, which was divine—flaky, delicate fish in a light, flavorful Champagne sauce, paired perfectly with mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. We also started with escargot, and ended with a decadent crème brûlée for dessert. Every detail was spot-on, from the presentation to the flavors. Highly recommend this gem if you’re looking for an authentic French dining experience in Deerfield Beach. Can’t wait to return! And the Desert was amazing
Justin P — Google review
This place exceeded all of our expectations. It was authentic from the wait staff to the food. It was my daughter’s 5th birthday and we all enjoyed the night. I started with the Caesar which was good, my main course was the duck which was incredible, and I finished off the night with the profiteroles which were the best I’ve ever had. The chef and owner came out and played the piano at the end of the night. My mom almost cried it was so great. What an amazing night!!! I can’t wait to go back!
Keith G — Google review
What a pleasure to experience french fine dining in our Deerfield Beach neighborhood. Warm & intimate space w/a team of 4 on a Saturday night attending to all guests needs. Service was professional, cuisine equally exquisite. We enjoyed appetizers: vegetable veloute (soup of the day) w/a hint of cream for silkiness, salads (caesar & mixed greens) fresh & crisp. Mains: Filet w/pepper sauce & fork tender, 1/2 rack of lamb (cut into chops) robust & not gamey, dover sole meuniere, mild & sweet (de-boned tableside). All dishes were executed perfectly & presented w/vegetables & smooth pomme puree or hearty potatoes au gratin. We topped off the evening with Grandma's apple tart, both pretty & delicious. Chef Eric Heintz hails from an Alsatian cooking family dating back 7 generations and it shows through his deft understanding of the delicate & savory art of french cuisine.

Mizner Park Amphitheater is a popular entertainment venue in Boca Raton, offering a variety of concerts and events. Situated within the vibrant Mizner Park, this open-air lifestyle center also houses retailers, restaurants, and the Boca Raton Museum of Art. The amphitheater can accommodate up to 4,200 visitors and boasts state-of-the-art light and sound equipment. Throughout the year, the venue hosts festivals under a spacious tent.
✨️The Mystic of Mizner: My family and I have been cruising through Mizner Park since the rad '90s! After taking a little break to soak in all the cultural twists, we're back in the game. Can you believe it? Mizner is about to hit the fabulous 5-0 in '24! Crafted by the genius Cooper Carry in the '70s, this place was born as a Mediterranean Revival Town Center, named after the legendary architect and Boca Raton’s founding father, Addison Mizner. We’ve popped in and out, witnessing shops come and go like a funhouse of retail! While some stores are pure eye candy, we've been on a culinary quest lately. Zooming into the '24 holidays, Mizner was buzzing with festive vibes! The tree? Ooh lah lah, it was a dazzling pink wonder wrapped in twinkling white lights! I could’ve sworn it used to be in the park's heart—maybe they'll amp it up with even more glitter to pull in the crowds. The place was spotless, overflowing with joyful people munching on a buffet of delights from American to Italian, Asian to Latin. Plus, there’s a snazzy amphitheater that seats 3,500 and can host up to 5,000 for a GA party—cooking classes galore! But wait! Just before we bounced, we stumbled upon a lively crowd at the park's end! It felt like we’d time-traveled to the Roaring '20s! Enter, Strike 10 Bowling and Sports Lounge—a full-on bash! The lights, the designs, the videos—what a wild kaleidoscope of fun! We’re definitely booking a party there someday. And guess what? Mizner Park is a pet-friendly utopia with free parking! What’s not to adore?

I attended the Back to the Future movie event. I've never explored this open-air mall. There is free parking in the garages and easy access to the ground floor via wheelchair access, stairs, and elevator. I'm definitely planning on going back to explore this more. I gave it a 4 stars because I haven't looked the whole place over.

Fun, medium-sized area for concerts and other events. Aside from the main seating/standing area there is terrace seating/standing area usually reserved for VIPs. I’ve been here a few times and there’s always a good selection of bites and perfect poured cocktails. There’s a free parking garage directly across the street and limited street parking available away from amphitheater. Mizner Park also has a number of restaurants all within walking distance of venue, too!

Nice, smallish (~4500) venue to watch live bands. We saw Weezer, they were even more awesome than we expected. My daughter was thrilled! Hopefully you don't end up with a big, tall person in front of you like I did cause it's flat. It's open air on grass so hope it doesn't rain. 20 oz of domestic draft beer was $12 & import was $14. The strip just outside is clean and inviting with seemingly nice shops and restaurants/bars to choose from.
Fern — Google review
The concert was amazing! The venue is nice but their are some problems. The main one is that there are no public bathrooms in the area before you get into the venue. If you show up to a concert early and you need to go to the bathroom, you will have to buy something at one of the very high class stores in the area before you can use their bathroom. As a venue, this is ridiculous from a buissness standpoint I get it drives profits. But really their should be some form of public restroom available to people who paid money to be at this place in the first place. Secondly, no stands near the line to buy something as simple as water. Im not saying provide a whole meal service, but this is Florida in the summer. It is hot as fire. And just a booth that is selling water or workers walking the line to sell water would be great! Lastly, whoever thought an outdoor ampitheater was a good idea in Florida is completely insane! People were passing out left and right during the whole concert. Boca Raton, get it together. Again, I loved the concert itself, though, and the sounds was still good.

They have made some improvements since I was there last. Awesome restaurants and shops and the Amphitheater is awesome!! It's not covered so plan accordingly. You can bring a chair or rent one there. Saw Matt Stone As Elvis there on Friday! He is fantastic and worth checking out. Google him!

🎭 Mizner Park Amphitheater – A Hidden Gem in Boca Raton! 🌴🎶 I was truly surprised by the structure and atmosphere of the Mizner Park Amphitheater. What a beautiful and well-organized open-air venue! From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with impressive architecture, lush palm trees, and a sense of calm that makes you want to stay and explore. The outdoor art installations scattered throughout the park add a creative, cultural vibe that blends perfectly with the Florida sunshine. It’s more than just a concert space — it’s an artistic experience! The amphitheater itself is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with excellent sound and lighting for live events. Whether you’re there for a concert, a festival, or a local event, you can feel the energy of the place. I highly recommend taking a walk through the park before or after an event — the shops, restaurants, and fountains around the area make it even more special. A perfect mix of music, art, and lifestyle in the heart of Boca Raton. 🌟 Truly impressed — it exceeded all my expectations!

The Modern Rose in Deerfield Beach, Florida is a great spot for breakfast and bites. They offer a variety of freshly baked pastries, savory sandwiches, and breakfast classics like the PB&J served on brioche. This female-, Latinx-, and veteran-owned establishment also boasts over 60 boutique tea varietals and locally roasted coffee. Another top choice for breakfast is The French Bakery, known for its handcrafted breads including mini French baguettes.
Absolutely LOVED this spot. I have been going to St Augustine for over 14 years and have my usual spots locked in but this time around we decided to try something new when we found this hidden gem. The decoration was absolutely stunning and different. I had the modern panini and added sliced turkey to it which I really loved along with the creamy earl tea. This is to die for would recommend to anyone I can. The service was excellent as well everyone was super sweet 🩷

Cozy Victorian Charm Meets Coffee Bliss Nestled in a tiny spot in Deerfield Beach, The Modern Rose is bursting with Victorian vibes. Think walls adorned with eclectic paintings and decor that makes you feel like you've stepped into a quaint tea room. The menu is huge, but seating? Not so much. It can get quite cozy, with folks often sharing tables. If you’re in the front room, be prepared—it gets warm with the constant door swings on a busy Sunday. But head to the back room, and you'll find a cool, refreshing escape. Now, let's talk about the coffee. The iced cappuccino was spot-on, and the specialty drinks are a blast to explore, with plenty of milk options to suit all preferences. As for the food, I went for the avocado toast with spicy flakes and Mexican corn (“some like it spicy”). It was delicious, but be warned—it comes with a generous heap of Parmesan cheese on top. If you’re a cheese lover, you’re in for a treat! I also added egg whites which it was missing. In short, The Modern Rose is a charming little spot with great vibes and even better coffee. Just bring your patience for the seating situation and an appetite for unique flavors.

From design to service to the delicious lattes, this is definitely a place I wish I had visited a lot sooner but no time is better than the present. What a cute coffee shop with some of the friendliest workers I’ve ever encountered. Run don’t walk to this amazing place.

I visited The Modern Rose on a rainy Friday afternoon with my partner. The atmosphere, vibe, and ambiance that the owner has created are truly delightful. However, I encountered some challenges with the seating. The space is quite small and not very practical at times, making it hard to find a comfortable spot. We had to switch tables because the couch was lower than the actual table. Additionally, ordering from the table using a QR code was not available, which was a bit inconvenient. The staff, on the other hand, were extremely friendly and nice. Their camaraderie was evident, and it added a positive touch to the experience. As for the food, I’m trying to keep an open mind given the rave reviews, but it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. I wouldn’t come back specifically for the food. We had the Vegan French bruschetta and the Spicy avocado toast. While fresh and tasty, they were dishes I could easily make at home. On the other hand, the drinks were a highlight. I ordered the Blue Eyes and the Chaga-ccino, and both were amazing. I would definitely return just for these. Overall, I appreciate the effort and passion the owner has put into creating this place. While the food didn’t quite meet my expectations, the drinks and the warm, friendly staff made the visit worthwhile.

The Modern Rose is delightful surprise in it's location. From the outside it looks small but there is seating outside, main area and in the back where it comfortable Sar my party of 8 people. (Large groups should call in to reserve). The people who work there were friendly and attentive. I am vegan and my mother have celiac disease and they were very accommodating and we had several options. They have gluten free replacement options. Our food was delicious and we enjoyed everything. We had the avocado toast, I added vegan pesto, and a quad dirty Chai. The gentleman that tended to us was so pleasant. I highly recommend the Modern Rose.

Hidden gem! I knew from the outside I was going to love this place and once inside I was even more impressed. I love the different seating areas and decorations. The menu is accommodating for different diets like vegan or gluten free and there are lots of options. I got the PB and J and a large mermaid latte. Don’t let the pictures deceive you, order the pb and j. It was amazing! The bread was lightly toasted and so the peanut butter and jam was the right temperature of warm the powdered sugar was a bonus. I enjoyed every bite! The mermaid latte was refreshing and had hints of coconut. What really impressed me was how kind and welcoming the people working were. Can’t wait to come back!

The Florida Renaissance Festival takes place at Quiet Waters every February and March, turning the area into a scene from Camelot. Each weekend features a different theme, offering jousting tournaments, fairies, jesters, games, and plenty of turkey legs and ale. It's a favorite event in South Florida with entertaining live shows suitable for the whole family. The themed weekends add to the fun atmosphere - especially the pirate-themed one!
Not a bad spot overall. Shows are good and lots of people dress up. The main problem is the extended wait times to buy food and drink. 20-30 minute wait times are the normal here. That said it really was a fantastic time.
Stephen — Google review
The Florida Renaissance festival is a GUARANTEED good time. My family, a big group of friends, and I went during Celtic weekend and we had the time of our lives. The festival opens at 10 am and remains open until sundown. Here are some things to keep in mind when you go: bring cash because there are some food/beverage, activities, and vendors that do not accept credit card. I would say 100-200 should suffice depending on how much you’re drinking or what you want to purchase. Next, I would say to buy your tickets online. The option to buy tickets at the door is available, but the lines are horrendous. When you purchase the tickets online, they send you a QR code and you are right on in. Word from the wise, try to be patient with the line to go through the security check. It is quite the lengthy line, but it moves rather quickly. Purchase the VIP parking pass and get there early. While there is PLENTY of parking, I will tell you that if you are not there early, parking will be a pain and you will be walking a could half a mile at least. Pack sunscreen and wear clothes/shoes that you do not mind getting dirty. The festival is made up of mostly dirt roads and your shoes, pants, and every single crevice on your body will get dirty. In addition to that, it’s South Florida and the sun is blazing hot from around noon-3ish. In all, it was a great experience, the kids enjoyed it, and there was plenty of things to do for people of all ages.

We had an absolutely amazing day! It's smaller than I expected, and the attendance was much smaller than most Renaissance Festivals but it was kinda nice because for a lot of the day my wife and I felt like we had the place to ourselves. I feel like they should move the venue north to either Orlando or even better the Ocala National Forest, where they would have room to put down roots and grow. All the actors and staff were incredible. Thank you for a wonderful day.
Brian V — Google review
I loved it. A lot going on. Different acts. A bunch of little shops. Live music. Most of the paths are tree shaded so not crazy hot. Definitely bring cash as most vendors are cash only. I loved seeing all the different costumes.

In 2022, we visited this festival for the 1st time and we loved how much fun the kids had (and us adults too). We went back this year (2023) and had even more fun! We did notice a lot of improvements… a lot more activities, interesting vendors, food variety, and even cleaner and more available toilets! We truly enjoyed the tournaments, the parade, people watching, and it was so amazing that we’ve been recommending it to all our friends! Definitely worth the entire day and the $. We do recommend that you bring cash, sunblock, and comfy closed shoes along with your costume!! 🧚🏻‍♂️🦄👸🏼🤴🏿🫅👑🐉🧝‍♀️🧝🧝‍♂️🧚‍♀️

One of my favorite events that South Florida offers! I love the themes each weekend, especially pirates! It’s great fun for the whole family and I definitely recommend you check out the live shows! They are hysterical!
Kelly S — Google review
Always a great experience, happy to see they’re back up and running this year! A few things to keep in mind if you’ve never been before: - prepare to park far from the gate and have a bit of a walk to the front, it’s like a theme park - tickets can be purchased when you get there, there’s already a lot included in the ticket like shows throughout the day though tips are always greatly appreciated for those shows - there’s not always cover from the sun so bring sunscreen! - bring cash or prepare to use the atms with service fees - there are bathrooms throughout the park but no water fountains so you can bring your own water or buy bottled water (cash only) The festival is what you make of it, there’s a lot you can do and you might not be able to do everything in one day. There’s a family friendly route you can take, or you can go day drinking, up to you! It’s not a cheap event to attend but it’s a lot of fun and you’ll have plenty to do.
Elizabeth H — Google review
Nice place to spend the day. Plenty of bathrooms plenty of food. People were cordial and well-mannered. Saw lots of people of all ages having a good time. Bring cash. Lots of entertaining performances.

I love this festival. It's just beautiful, everyone is really engaged and I personally feel very at home. They did a different set up and it seemed way bigger. So Many interesting vendors and good food. Between food, beverages and entrance you'll spend easy $60 pp. If you have kids and want to use the additional rides you'll spend more. I go to not drink, just have a snack and eat after. I feel like it is overpriced which is why I give it 4 stars. The vendors overcharge too, a lot of the items being sold can be bought online for 1/10 of the price. I will continue to go for the experience. Eat, drink and shop elsewhere.

The Boca Raton, formerly known as Boca Raton Resort & Club, has recently undergone a $200 million transformation. This beach resort offers luxurious rooms and suites, a 50,000 sq ft spa, golf facilities, and three pools. The grand gala at the resort features an array of top restaurants from the Boca/Delray area along with samplings of fine wines from over 40 wineries.
10 on a 5 scale ⚖️ This resort is absolutely amazing, clean, comfortable, and money well spent. The charm of this place is unmatched, and the Cloister rooms are pet friendly rooms, so the touches they included for our fur son were epic!! We walked into a beautiful Parisienne feeling room with a view of a garden wooden wallway (just such a sweet & tender view), and our sons doggy bowls and a dog bed (what a nice touch). The shower has duel heads, double vanity in the bathroom, well lit & clean mirrors, and a very roomy & comfortable sized room/suite for our small family. The room service was impeccable and so were the 2 restaurants we dined at (the Asian restaurant downstairs I'm the main lobby and the flamingo restaurant located just a small walk away through a romantic garden that leads into another beautiful tower with cathedral ceilings and grand staircase). Please please please of you are sitting around wondering of you should visit this resort, do not think any longer just book your stay right away! You will not regret it at all. Enjoy 🥂 We plan on visiting again soon!! So, hope to see you there!

Amazing hotel but the doors are extremely loud when being closed in the hallway. When a door is closed, the inside of your room has an extremely loud bang. That’s means you’re up at about 8am when it all begins and hear it at night when guests arrive back to their rooms. Service is amazing! Really friendly staff. Expect 20% gratuity added to every bill… yes, that includes buying a cigar. Valet parking is available at about $60 per day. The pool area is exquisite but for hotel guests and member too; sadly not available if you have friends or family come to visit. I really wanted to rank this at 5 stars as I like it much better than the Breakers… hope they fix the hallway/room sounds!

We enjoyed our stay but the bed wasn't good so we won't be back. Pros: All common areas were beautiful and spotless . They were well staffed and everyone we interacted with was nice and helpful. They offered great pools. We went for the spa and it was top notch, one of the best spa experiences of my life. The food was good but not amazing. Cons: The bed was extremely firm, if you don't prefer a hard bed you won't sleep. The pillows were flat, we requested foam pillows (which they offer) several times and never successfully got them. Food and drinks are overpriced. Yeah it's resort prices but $32 for three tacos with no sides and $9 for lemonade seems excessive. The room felt too small for the price point.

If you work hard for your money and don't like hidden fees, don't stay here! Overall the resort is nice, with fairly good service but the additional fees left me with a very sour taste. I made my booking through Agoda which said all fees were included. I called the hotel who said that usually third party bookings included resort fees. Then upon checking out: Parking is 60$ per day -- with mandatory valet. But at least they're upfront about that. There's also a 60$ per day resort fee. I told them I called and they said there was usually no resort fee and they absolutely refused... If you work hard for your money and don't like hidden fees, don't stay here!

My experience was beyond wonderful!! I love the hotel, so beautiful and all the staff are lovely. I look forward to staying here again soon. I have to say the staff made my trip the best trip. Allan R, who helped us check in, he was so kind. He helped with our requests as we checked in so late. He made that we were comfortable with our stay like a little angel watching over us. He really helped make our stay more enjoyable. Thank you, Allan.

Looks like something out of years gone by - like Downton Abbey This resort is top notch. We stayed at the Cloister - it’s an 80 year old hotel. Beautiful architecture and has a relaxing, cozy feel - even though it’s ginormous - you can easily get lost. The staff is phenomenal - seriously - so nice and helpful. You need to pass through the gatehouse to get into the grounds. You could stay for weeks- they have everything you need. Transportation (water taxis and shuttles), excellent restaurants, shopping, a spa, beach, and pool. Lovely everything!

Worst experience ever. As we were landing we get an email that the pools will be closed for maintenance for 2 days. The woman at the front desk has no idea. The acting manager has no idea and thinksnitbis due to the weather. The real manager was gone because they were sick!!! We asked to move to the beach club where the pools will be open but did not know how to do that. No idea how they call themselves a luxury hotel with great service! Not sure about the other reviews online Forbes should look at these reviews. Usually stay a the Ritz nearby, but people suggested to try this place. UPDATE. 1 day later, we were offered to switch rooms. Much better this time. Everyone today was wonderful, polite, helpful. It's like a totally different place . That can probably explain the opposing reviews. Everything is expensive, but excellent quality and food wonderful. UPDATE #2: New room a/C kept breaking and for the last 2 days we were up till 1:30am with a repair person trying to fix! Nobody will reach out! GOOD PEOPLE ALONE DO NOT MAKE UP FOR POORLY MAINTAINED OLD BUILDINGS. if you look at prices in busy season it is in the $800s. People should stay away. Acknowledging the issues alone by management is not enough!!

I recently stayed at the Boca Raton Cloister with my mom, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The property itself was stunning, with beautifully manicured landscapes and gardens that added to the charm of the place. We had the pleasure of dining at Sadelle's and Marisol, where the food exceeded our expectations; although the service was a bit sluggish and the food was somewhat overpriced (which was expected given the quality and setting), it was still enjoyable. Coming from New York accustomed to a faster pace, the leisurely pace took a little adjustment. Nonetheless, the staff were generally friendly and accommodating, except for one individual at the front desk during the overnight shift, whose name unfortunately escaped me. The water taxi provided a convenient and pleasant way to access the beach property, and both the pools and beaches were idyllic spots to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, despite a few minor hiccups, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would certainly consider returning in the future.

The modern eleven-story architectural design features 139 rooms and suites with an artsy contemporary interior. Overall a great experience! A group or friends stayed together as we were in town for a baby shower. Staff were welcoming and the beachy restaurant (we didn’t try the Asian one at all) was great. Nice views and good food. Special shout out to George who was the host extraordinaire! He works as a bellhop but might as well be the greeter, the cheerleader, and the local guide!

The Waterstone is hands down the worst Hilton property I’ve stayed at — and I’m a long-time loyal guest. Our stay was a disaster: broken A/C, a botched room change, being ignored after seated at restaurant toward closing but being told we still would be taken care of and ignored, and a front desk that treated us like a bother. Then came the real shock. This property uses a Gmail account to communicate with guests. That’s unprofessional, risky, and not Hilton standard. When I escalated, Hilton corporate promised the GM would call me. He never did. Instead, I got sloppy, piecemeal emails from the front desk manager. No ownership. No accountability. Finally, I was tossed some Hilton points — as if that erases everything. That’s not resolution. That’s a payoff attempt. I tried to handle this quietly, out of public view. But when my follow-up was ignored, I had no choice but to raise it with Hilton’s CEO office. Still, the GM stayed silent. I’ll continue staying with Hilton — other properties get it right. But the Waterstone is an embarrassment to the brand. Future guests: Don’t just take my word. Read the 1-star reviews. Then read the 5-star reviews. The trends tell the real story. If Hilton doesn’t hold this property accountable, guests will.

I am a Diamond member with Hilton and we have stayed at this resort several times. Do not even consider staying here. Seems they have management changes every three months but the most important thing is in the past. It was a great hotel and now it is a rundown dump We arrived on a Friday evening and of course the desk person said he did not have the payment so of course we had to make an additional payment which later took us five days to get corrected. More importantly and very important was that the room was freezing one of the people staying in the room is 80 years old. No consideration whatsoever from the desk no way to change the room and we had to suffer and freeze. They did send up a mangy dirty blanket The next night the toilet was broken. We called the desk three times and no one came up to help. Finally, we went down to the lobby and asked if we could get a plunger and they did send somebody up. He really was very ungracious about helping us. Service in the restaurant outside was terrible. Couldn’t get a refill on a cup of coffee without a belligerent waitress being very hostile. There were also bedbugs in the room I contacted Hilton corporate as well as the manager of this resort and they offered us a free night at this resort. When I contested this, I got nowhere. Why would I want a free night at this resort? I wanted a refund for this horrendous stay and the manager, of course, is rude very very rude. YOU HAVE LOST US AS CUSTOMERS, AND I WILL SAY TO ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW DO NOT STAY AT THE HILTON CURIO, WATERSTONE RESORT AND SPA!

Anthony and Maneels customer service made this a 5 star review. It was going to be a 4 but they were helped me out with a unexpected early checkout and made it easy and we're very understanding. Rooms were clean and nice. They did show their age a bit but nothing that significantly stood out. View was great. In the morning there was some dinging alarms from boats on the wayer that seemed to be on a schedule. The view and patio was worth it though. I unfortunately didn't get to eat at the sushi restraught but the sushi looked quite good. I would recommend staying here. Especially with the level of customer service they delivered.

Have not been there for years since it became a water stone property, it is absolutely fantastic The view is beautiful the remodeling job they did waterstone is absolutely to die for very comfortable leisurely but sexy.. There was only one bartender on last Friday, she was overwhelmed she was a very nice lady but didn't have any time to have a conversation or even to smile. so they might want to get an extra bartender on a Friday during their happy hour so that the customer has a better experience..
CdkConsortium — Google review
The Waterstone is well maintained, but appears to be an older building. Most noticeable is that the floors --at least the 6th floor-- have become unlevel. Regarding food, breakfast was only available outside on the patio. Even in mid-October, Florida is still much too warm & muggy to enjoy an outdoor breakfast meeting in business attire. Also, the noise from the pool area & the nearby street were a but louder than expected for a Sunday night.

The Hyatt Place Boca Raton/Downtown is a modern hotel located in the heart of downtown Boca Raton, a mile (1.6km) from the ocean. The hotel features high-quality media and work centers, as well as a market that is always open. The 200 rooms are stylish and modern with high ceilings and marble floors.
The parking is spectacular but quite tight. It has its effectiveness to its chaos. Where the nap, the service is amazing. But the view is stunning from the top floor. Good prices around this time ( august, september). Nice bar downstairs opens at 4 pm . But the pool is even more stunning. Check it out.

The hotel rooms are in need of a major upgrade. There were stains on the floor, beat up walls and furniture. Just felt dirty. The staff in the morning were very nice, but the staff in the afternoon were not welcoming. The pool is awesome though, and the bar has great happy hour deals. They also have the weirdest parking garage that’s a little difficult to get into. I would not stay again.

Pretty clean and comfortable. Relatively quiet, although there was s a lot of street noise — the price you pay for a convenient location. Breakfast is included and is also pretty good. Parking is on-site, unlimited exit and entry for $25 per night. Exercise facility needs a serious upgrade. Staff is friendly and pleasant.

Clean rooms but i can hear the loud cars outside from the 14th floor. Bed comfort level 3 out of 5. Air conditioning works well but it comes with motion sensor. It works only when you are inside the room. Its 3 stars hotel so keep your expectations at mid level. Surrounding area looks nice and there is a walkable small downtown area.

They don't clean the rooms at all, not even the bathroom. They don't add shortcomings. The hotel in an excellent location, but the hotel is not managed Yes there is a very good continental breakfast, but that Does not justify the price at all, even in September there are hotels in the area with a much lower price and much better service. If you don't care about cleanliness then go for the hotel, it's in a super duper location.

This hotel is a gem. The room was impeccably clean. My money ( who is notoriously picky) had no complaints about the room. The area was quiet. The breakfast was plentiful with hot food, and the food service manager was very pleasant. Will definitely come back.

Extremely run down hotel. Barely smells clean. A bartender helped himself to an extensive gratuity charge after I specifically declined. So that tells me that they allow thieves to work at their locations. Not surprising. A ridiculous amount of tax on everything & $25 daily parking in an inconvenient, filthy, & unsafe garage. However, the hotel was in a good location of many restaurants in walking distance; quality of the food near by is poor IMO. Would not stay again, & Highly do not recommend.

I recently stayed at the Riotplace Hotel and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with one of the front desk attendants, Carolina Gomez. When I politely asked about hospitality options — such as the possibility of a late checkout or even a courtesy night — Carolina responded in a dismissive and unhelpful manner, even pretending not to understand my questions. This behavior felt unprofessional and lacking in basic courtesy. As a guest, I expect clear communication and a welcoming attitude, especially regarding standard hospitality services. I hope management takes this feedback seriously so that future guests receive the level of respect and professionalism that should be standard in a hotel experience.

This is a great hotel with a great location. Plenty of food areas to eat at within walking distance, If you do not eat there at the farmer's table. All of the staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean and the pool area was very welcoming. Yes, the hotel may need a little updating, but all in all, it is worth the value for your money. Side note, they are currently working on updating the rooms.

Nice hotel, in a great area, but older than it seems. It was definitely spacious, and had great amenities, but felt dated outside of the lobby area, and in the room. The faucet and tub plumbing clogged and was slow to drain as well. The hotel served it's purpose of enjoying the surrounding area, but felt like it could use some TLC

I really like this hotel. The rooms are really comfortable. I think the beds my personal opinion could be a little bit softer. But if you like a firm bed they have great beds. The pillows are really comfortable. Their rooms are really clean and smelling good. I love that they have two restaurants on site. Overall, I love the atmosphere of the hotel. And the service is really nice here. No issues at all.

Comfortable room, nice gym. Only suggestion is for housekeeping staff to knock on the door before entering. One started to enter but the latch was on. I was awake so I heard them even though they were quiet. The mango flavored water in the lobby was delicious. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. I really appreciate getting a call after checkout to say I left my rings on the dresser. Lucky for me they were not real so I was ok with leaving them. They were a part of a game from the bridal shower the night before. Great job to all the staff for having integrity. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🧡💛💚

If you don’t give this hotel five stars you’re crazy. The pool is amazing. The restaurant attached to it has phenomenal food. The people at the front desk are awesome. Doris did me a solid when I came here and Rashad helped me throughout the rest of the trip( he seem to always be at the desk) lol It’s clean. The location is amazing. It’s right off 95 on glades , parking is a breeze. They have a place on the second floor called tea. Trends that has amazing. Breakfast snacks and is like a pastry shop with tea and designer coffees, but the best to be honest is their pool at night. It has lights that change colors and it’s just really Beautiful Definitely five stars. I come every one or two years as long as I can, because of health problems.

Two major issues: Room is either an icebox or humid. The biggest thing was we spent the night and check out was 11. 8am housekeeping is knocking away at the door. We tell them we are good and that check out is 11. 10am, back again. 1030am, back again. If you want everyone out, set the checkout for 6am!

Update, Phil was nice and resolved the issue below and appreciate the support. thank you for being a good manager . Where do I begin, been coming here for years, got a room for my family while family in town. the room smelled of mildew and you can see rooms where looking dated and not refreshed in years. my sister gets a 1000 dollar charge on her card saying she ruined the rug , and when she calls they ask if she had a dog or cat in room. this is someone that keeps things spotless and other than a dirty towel doesn't mess anything up.. ill be calling the better business bureau and disputing all charges with Visa, and I left a message with Phillip the general manager. they have my sister confused with another guest with a cat or dog

Located in the heart of Mizner Park, the Boca Raton Museum of Art is a cultural hub that draws art enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. The museum's modernist structure stands out with its clean lines and open, airy space, offering a contemporary contrast to the area's prevalent Mediterranean Revival style. It houses a diverse collection of art including paintings, drawings, photos, glasswork spanning centuries, as well as a sculpture garden and shop.
This is a delightful museum. I took my kids, whose admission is free by the way, and they really enjoyed the exhibits. This a great summertime excursion for the family. It’s indoors, the AC pumps ice cold air, you’re safe from afternoon thunderstorms, and you can teach your kids to appreciate art. While we were there, the Glasstress exhibit was on view. We were given a scavenger hunt by a very nice young lady working the front desk and the kiddos had a lot of fun finding the right art pieces to complete the task. And they got a cool prize at the end. Take your kids. Open their eyes to art and ideas. You won’t regret it

We visited July 2025 make sure to look up free parking garages ahead of time so you know where to go instead of paying for parking on the side of the road. The museum entrance was not clearly marked but it is to the left side of the amphitheater. Just walk up to the amphitheater and there is a statue next to the entrance. There were glass exhibits when we visited not sure if they were permanent collections but they were pretty cool. My fave was the Venice stack. It’s obviously a small museum but there is still a lot to see and peruse. I am grateful for the artists who continue to share their work ❤️🙏

5 stars for The Boca Raton Museum of Art. I am especially excited for the upcoming exhibit this Thursday November 20th 2025, and during my visit I even decided to purchase a membership. Kelcie and Raphael at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Answering my millions of questions and being patient with me. I also stopped by the gift shop and found the most gorgeous items. Anna and the entire team were incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, which made shopping a pleasure. I had a lovely interaction at the brand new cafe as well. Grey, the girl working there, was so kind hearted and warm that it added an extra touch to the experience. I got an iced late was so so good ill be back to practice my art at the cafe! I also attend their school location often for drawing and painting classes, and the education side of the museum is just as fantastic as the main galleries. The instructors are talented, encouraging, and create such a creative atmosphere. There are also so many other activities and events coordinated with this museum. Overall the museum is stunning, the staff is exceptional, and every part of the Boca Raton Museum of Art feels full of creativity and care. An easy five star experience and I cannot wait to return for the new exhibit.

It was nice to see things from local artists for sale too! We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

The Villages of Hillsboro Park is a 10-acre retreat in Deerfield Beach, Florida, offering a range of amenities such as a boat dock, picnic area, sports courts, and a walking trail with fitness stations. It's considered one of the best neighborhoods in the city due to its variety of housing options and convenient access to nearby highways, shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Visitors appreciate the park's simplicity and beauty as it provides emotional relief during difficult times.
This park is one of the nicer ones I've been to in the county and has a wide variety of amenities. There are three pavilions with grills, benches throughout the park, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, a playground, a boat ramp, ample parking, a bench with solar powered charging ports, and a walking path with exercise stations. The paved walking path is just shy of 0.4 miles, and 3 laps will get you to a mile.

While visiting FL came to this beautiful park. It has a nice and clean playground with many activities for them to enjoy and lots of space for them to run around. Great for picnics or just to walk around on a cool afternoon. There’s a canal closed to the park we went to check it out, we saw a few fishes and turtles.

Lots of shade all around the playground, and the hills are good for keeping an eye on your kid it's amazing! Notice: You cannot jump off of the swings without risking a hard break. There's also like possibly alligators in the water, but the water is pretty far. As long as you're wary of them getting close too the water no worry.

I am in the area a little over a year and half, but I moved here during Covid so I am now just meeting more people, and I was grateful to get to know some lovely women a little better. The park had a covered area for the food and gifts, and plenty of areas for the kids to run around and play. It has swing sets and your typical kid's area as well as a volley ball, basketball and tennis courts. A beautiful area for a party or a family day in the park. Highly recommend !

this park is so special to me that i am taking the time to review it. it's honestly pretty simple park..but its so beautiful to me and has brought me such emotional reprieve during hard times and has allowed me to practice finding the small beauties in the ordinary. I would love to see the community that enjoys this park continue to grow and see the city of Deerfield provide more preservation of this park. I would LOVE to see a flower garden (let me know where I can donate lol)

This is a store I have visited and bought items for years. I have also recommended this store to friends & family who visit me in Hollywood. In the past, I noticed the person on the register was unfriendly, but did not give it much attention. After today, I will NEVER visit this store nor will any of my family & friends. The older woman on the register should be FIRED! She has no customer service skills and her negative and toxic energy is costing the business money. Don't take my word for it, look at the rest of the reviews. She rudely yelled at my niece and me for touching plastic cups. I decided to leave the 2 pool items & 2 toddler t-shirt I was going to purchase and leave the store. Hollywood Broadwalk has lots great stores to purchase memorabilia & general beach items.

Great variety, very clean and orderly store 👍 The Haitian security guard is very pleasant😊 The prices are very good also🤑 If you are worried about the rudeness in prior comments, I have witnessed why. Some rude and unpleasant CLIENT came with three rowdy boys being overly agitated with unbought merchandise around fragile glass products. When confronted politely by the security guard to calm the boys down. The mother acted like she was harassed. She'll probably be one of those false negative reviews😅

RACIST STORE!!!Terrible experience, staff was absolutely racist towards me and my sister, we came in shopping for sweaters and an employee started following us within 1 feet distance. We even went all the way to the coroner of the store and she was still following us. Another male employee then came up to us with a cart and asked with attitude “are you guys going to buy anything or just look” even though we had like 5 sweaters in our hand ready to purchase . Also another Caucasian family walked in and they didn’t follow them at all. Me and my sister are both black but we speak fluent Spanish so mangers attitude immediately changed once we started speaking Spanish. I’m mad we gave them business but we stoped another black person from going in at least.

Never again. This woman who “owns the store” was an absolute disgrace to customer service. I purchased a sweatshirt and the lettering was completely off center. I took it back to exchange and I notice a lot of them are off centered. The woman starts yelling at me “don’t open up all my stuff” mind you they are folded and I am courteous enough to put the stuff back. She starts yelling at me to “not open her stuff” I said, I just want to make sure the lettering in centered, she says, “I won’t let you open all my stuff!” I said, ok give me a refund, if I can’t see what is centered properly. She says, ok. then gets me to the register and tells me to read the receipt and she will give me an exchange. I said, I want an exchange for the same thing just for the lettering to be centered. She says, “you won’t open all my stuff, pick something” I said, I just want the same thing but have the lettering centered! As I was leaving she’s yelling at me “BYE BYE YOU DONT OWN THIS STORE, BYE!! I see why they need security in that place because that woman is an absolute psycho!! I could see if I was just tossing stuff around but I was folding it all and putting it back. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON SOMEONE WHO IS SO DISRESPECTFUL TO PEOPLE WHO KEEP HER OPEN!!
Renee O — Google review
Racist management and horrible staff! Not even 5 minutes into looking around got screamed at for looking and touching merchandise. Since I wear a hijab she immediately started being racist after seeing me. she started being racist towards me and telling me to put down what I was touching and told me to leave the store.
Lounah H — Google review
WARNING! BEWARE! HORRIBLE MANAGER!! If you need to feel disrespected, yelled at, followed behind like a criminal, scolded like a child, and get a shower of racist attitude, THIS IS the place to come! The manager has the most unpleasant lack of human touch lacking of social and business skills. Unfortunately, like 95% of the reviews for this business, my niece, nephew, and I were asked to take our towels off and leave the backpacks in the front with the security person. As we walked in and headed to the sunglass stand, she asked another employee to follow us, she stood by our backs until I just turn around and told her that I would let her know if I needed assistance, which trigger the manager to respond by yelling at me that if I didn’t like the store policies I could leave! Which we immediately did, not without having to hear her loud disgusting racist slurs. It is worth noting that except for the security guy, the employees look embarrassed and unease, forced to perform a role that is totally wrong as and for a human being. I am leaving this review because it is fair to warn others and to create awareness that we live amongst evil people, and this manager is one of them! Zero humanity!

Big shout out to YOLO Boat Rentals! They made everything incredibly simple and hassle-free. The boat excursion was the highlight of Thanksgiving week, easily ranking as one of the most memorable vacations ever. Exploring the picturesque residential areas, admiring magnificent yachts, and anchoring at the sandbar for a refreshing swim while grooving to music were all immensely enjoyable experiences. I assure you, this day on the water surpassed all expectations. Rest assured that I will definitely be booking with them again!
Booking with Yolo Boat Rentals was effortless and smooth. Our captain, Max, made the experience unforgettable with his friendly demeanor and engaging personality. Cruising past picturesque homes and relaxing at the sandbar made for a truly enjoyable outing. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a fantastic boat ride around Fort Lauderdale.

10/10 recommend YOLO boat rentals, ask for Hunter if you can! Hunter took great care of our group! We were able to relax and enjoy our day on the water knowing we were in great hands. We would absolutely use YOLO again and plan to do so next time we are in the Fort Lauderdale/Pompano Beach area

Great playground and very nice covered area. Far enough from busy road so mom's can relax. Restrooms are well kept for a park

I want to like this park, they have pretty decent playground, a volleyball net, and this path with workout equipment but there was garbage everywhere!! Beer cans, cigarettes, and their wrappers among other piles of trash.
Megan P — Google review
My wife family had a reunion there. It met the need. It's not a large park and you still have to share it with the public. The one pavilion was sufficient for our group.
Pastor D — Google review
Park served its purpose! With covid, everything closes early. It was dark. But this has to be one of the only park open in Florida after sunset. With a gazebo/ pavilion, tables, and lights. Need a spot to eat late at night? Great place! As far as the rest of the park. Can not comment on that.
Bryant H — Google review
This place looks ratchet. This park needs major improvements. Maybe they should think about getting rid of some of the grass. Weeds are growing every where. Why not add a basketball court or two? Also who ever stole the volleyball net please bring it back.

Nice location. A great space to do some fitness activities in. Good BBQ location. Seems pretty safe for kids to play. Next to a gas station.

Took my 2 year old daughter to the park for the first time and I didn't feel safe. Suspicious activity and homeless people are very active here.

The New Art Gallery showcases the exceptional talent of artist David, who possesses a remarkable ability to analyze and enhance nature photographs. Despite their small size, David effortlessly determines the optimal dimensions for an appropriate display. His expertise also extends to selecting complementary colors for frames and matting, effortlessly harmonizing them with both the image and its surroundings. Moreover, the gallery's pricing is competitively reasonable considering the invaluable combination of David's artistic acumen and material selection experience.
David is a real pleasure to work with. His quality of work is unmatched, his customer service is perfect, and he gets the job done faster than everyone else. I've used him over a dozen times now and I'm always more impressed then the last. Thank you for an awesome experience.
Vigilance E — Google review
David was amazing to work with! Walked in not wanting to spend much money and picking a frame up from Target or Michaels. David made it affordable and had it done in less than an hour. Will definitely go there again when we need another frame!
Andrew L — Google review
I have purchased frames and art here. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I am very happy with all my purchased from New Art Gallery. Additionally, the owner is a true framing designer. If you are not sure what mat or frame to choose, describe what you want and the placement of the piece and leave the rest to him. I am always pleased. Even though I am picky when it comes to art, he always seems to frame it right.

LOOK NO FURTHER!!! Both David and Richard at NEW ART GALLERY on Hillsboro in Deerfield Beach are the BEST to work with. David was super helpful in assisting me select fabulous art for my new Dental Office. He actually came to the office to see the interiors and colors. He expertly guided my selection to make ideal choices. The pieces were ready within one week, then Richard hung each piece with patience and attention to detail. I called them to request MORE pieces immediately after seeing how exceptional the art looked.
Larry L — Google review
Awesome! Thank you, Richard! Richard is amazing at what he does. He is a frame artist. Meticulous isn't enough to describe his work. You don't have to know what you want or need, just bring it in and he we all explain the entire process and all your options. I never had anything framed before, so I had no clue how this intricate process is. First I went to a chain hobby/craft store and inquired if it's possible to frame an object of sport memorabilia. I received a "scripted" explanation of a chain-store employee, and I felt that I really should find someone who does framing full time. I am glad I did. Richard built two flawless shadowboxes at almost the same cost as I was quoted at the hobby store - where I would have gotten a cookie-cutter product made by a teenager working part time. Highly recommend! I will certainly return.

Found just what I was looking for there. David was extremely helpful. Fairly priced, neat and clean and well-stocked. Found a "brainwash" and bought it!!

Nestled in the heart of Deerfield, Ecidar Park is a serene escape perfect for those seeking tranquility. This well-maintained park features a charming playground and newly renovated tennis courts, making it an ideal spot for families and sports enthusiasts alike. The peaceful glades provide ample shade, inviting visitors to relax or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the walking path. While it's generally quiet and secluded, occasional disturbances can happen; however, the overall ambiance remains delightful.
Nice, well maintained park with a small playground and newly renovated tennis courts. It’s secluded and quiet as well. Great park!!

I took 3/4 graders there and they said it was very boring. We did use the picnic table however, it has mediocre playground equipment.

This please get 3 stars because after dark or at sundown the place turns into a completely different type of Park during the day it's just fine but after Sundown you want to be out of there you don't have you don't want to have your kids there the playground itself is excellent one of the best around highly just taking your kids during the day if you live around there they'll love it but don't be there after sundown

All I can say is WOW! Our homeschool group hosted a field trip here and I was blown away at the lengths at which they went to get our kids excited about science, creation and God’s grand design! The hospitality was second to none and they had the kids engaged from the moment we walked in til we left! I highly recommend visiting or booking a field trip! I was an A+ experience from start to finish! A memorable day filled with fossils, hands on science and Biblical Truth that our kids will surely remember forever.
Kelsey M — Google review
Creation Discovery Museum is truly an educational gem in Broward County. Our homeschool co-op arranged a field trip and went as a group of 25 children (plus some younger siblings and moms). The staff had excellent communication while organizing the field trip, and they provided such a fun, hands-on educational experience for the kids! The museum itself is small, but highly interactive with friendly and knowledgeable staff available to answer questions. We were very impressed and would highly recommend for other homeschool groups.
Elena M — Google review
The Creation Discovery Museum is a fascinating and educational experience! I recently visited and was truly impressed by the exhibits and the wealth of information they provided. The museum is well-organized, making it easy to explore and learn at your own pace. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and eager to answer questions, adding so much value to the visit. It’s clear they’re passionate about what they do. Whether you're interested in science, history, or just looking for a unique outing, this museum is a must-see. I left feeling inspired and can’t wait to return!
Adventure V — Google review
My son & I absolutely loveeeeeed everything about this museum! Super friendly and knowledgeable is def the perfect description for the staff. Offered Simplified answers to a lot of questions that once confused me. We loved learning hands-on via the timeline they have displayed and bones/artifacts laid out for you to touch. We can’t wait to go back!! We donated and he was able to leave with a few Dinosaur souvenirs. In his words it was “epic” 😂
Whitney L — Google review
This place, put simply, is amazing. Prepare to have your worldview challenged by well-made and informative exhibits; kids will love the interactive exhibits and lifelike displays. There is something for everybody, plus the tour guide, Johnny, is great at answering your questions. Definitely check this place out!
Angel T — Google review
During the week my daughter's homeschool co-op had a field trip. The field trip had a biblical teaching of the Ice Age, two science experiments and some small reptiles they were able to pet and hold. The students had a blast and so did the parents! We all learned more about God's creation and word. The leaders / teachers were so patient, knowledgeable and made learning so much fun for the students. Our students were so thankful for them answering all their questions. It was an amazing time and would recommend highly visiting with your family or group.
Sonia M — Google review
Our Sunday School class planned a field trip to this place. It was very educational. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. They provide a tour through their display explaining how the fossils are evidence of God’s creation. The kids also had a lot of fun interacting with different creatures while learning important facts about the animals. I would say that the museum though still small has a lot of potential, and it's a great opportunity to instill in children and adults a sense of wonder about God's amazing creation.
M M — Google review
Such a cool place and experience! It was so interesting to hear about how science can align with the biblical creation story. And the teacher / guide 'Indiana Jane' was very friendly and knowledgeable. And as a dinosaur-lover/kid-at-heart and a Christian, I may or may not be biased😆 but it was great!
