Rosso Vivo Dine & Lounge

Italian restaurant
Rosso Vivo Dine & Lounge is an Italian restaurant located at Kuta Seaview Hotel, offering a romantic beachfront dining experience. The menu features a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes including pizza, pasta, soups, and desserts. The restaurant boasts a vast selection of cocktails, mocktails, and wines to complement the dining experience.
Had dinner here a couple of times. The food here is very good. Enough different choices, the food tastes fresh and the meals are in big portions, and not too expensive. Service is quick, the food and drinks are delivered fast. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant looks also very nice, especially after sunset when all the lights in the trees go on. The restaurant has a cosy, classic Italian look. Also a great location next to the beach!

Honestly, this was the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in Bali — and that says a lot, because Bali is known for its amazing hospitality. The staff here must have missed that memo. I waited to be seated, and a friendly waiter showed me to a nice table by the street. A minute later, another waiter stormed over, pointing at me like I’d done something wrong, and demanded that I move to another table — no explanation, no courtesy, nothing. I told him I was waiting for three friends to join me in just a few minutes, but he clearly didn’t care. His tone and attitude were so rude that I decided to leave instead of arguing. The best part? He didn’t even apologize — he just pointed to the exit and told me to go because the table was “for four people.” When I asked for the manager, they told me there isn’t one. Impressive management system, right? What makes this worse is that we had dinner here just yesterday, spent almost $100, and were treated well. I guess good service here depends on the waiter’s mood of the day. There are plenty of great restaurants in Bali that actually know how to treat customers — this one clearly isn’t one of them.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Rosso Vivo in Bali! Located right in front of Kuta Beach, this stylish restaurant offers a perfect mix of great food, friendly service, and a relaxed beachside atmosphere. The food was excellent! the short rib pasta was rich and tender, the burger juicy and flavorful, and the pizza had that perfect crispy crust. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted fresh and balanced. The staff were warm and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Prices are a bit on the higher side for Bali, but definitely worth it for the quality, service, and the ocean view. If you’re in Kuta Beach and looking for a refined yet comfortable place to enjoy a meal, Rosso Vivo is a must-visit. Great food, great vibe, and great memories. 🌴

Wonderful live music. We enjoy the band, the singer and the fire performance. Food is good but very slow, I won’t blame the staffs since there are high volumes of guests. Overall good experience.
Tamruja D — Google review
I ordered the seafood, but unfortunately, it was way too greasy and oily. Everything was deep-fried to the point that I couldn’t eat it. I had to pull the seafood out of the batter just to try to taste it, but it was still far too heavy and unpleasant. I couldn’t finish my meal and actually felt sick afterward. I expected much better quality from such an expensive restaurant, especially one that looks so beautiful and has such friendly staff. Sadly, the food completely ruined the experience.
Rob M — Google review
Pretty average in most aspect but the location makes up for it. Had a simple breakfast and it was joined by a small storm so we had to move inside. Btw this place has the coldest darn washroom in Bali! The service was so, so. No sugar for the coffee I asked for and no spoon to stir it with once the sugar arrived. Most people were takin the buffer breaky that looked quite good. At night I love to chill out by the road and watch the traffic and people go past. More @zsoltzsemba
Zsolt Z — Google review
The service was amazing, the food was excellent! The waiters and waitresses were very elegant and polite and there was live music all night! I definitely suggest to have a date at Rosso Vivo! You won’t regret it!
Moh M — Google review
Perfect food, perfect service 👍 Being next to the road is not very nice but still 👍 Cocktails, especially sangria is very nice. A bit expensive for Bali but deserves it

Made's Warung Kuta

Mentioned on

Balinese restaurant
Made's Warung is a well-known restaurant in Kuta that started as a humble street-side stall in 1969 and has since evolved into a popular dining spot for locals, expats, and tourists. It offers a mix of local and international dishes, including Indonesian, Japanese, and Western cuisine. Despite its traditional roots, it has become a cosmopolitan restaurant with an extensive menu. The place is favored by locals and can get crowded after 8pm.
Our family was looking for a place to have lunch and chose this restaurant because of the good reviews. I asked if they had car parking, but they said no. Since our hotel was nearby, we parked there and walked. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu has many choices, with prices more like a restaurant than a local warung. The food was good and served quickly. We definitely recommend it and will come back next time!
Intan C — Google review
Great Indonesian food with friendly service. In our personal opinion, their Indonesian dishes are amazing—especially the Mie Goreng and Nasi Goreng. We love adding a fried egg on top, so we ordered it as an extra. We’ve tried many restaurants in Bali, but we think this one is the best. Highly recommended!
Tiffany — Google review
My old time favorite. Never fail me. Always serve with smile and great attitude. Most importantly, all dishes are delicious. We had babi-guling (bbq pork rice), skin was so crispy and meat is full of fragrance. Bebek (duck) rice was also with great taste. Oxtail soup comes with meat that attaches to the tail, it was so tender that easily detached from the bone. Rujak (local fruit salad) is very refreshing, but is too sweet for me. Highly recommend!
Mnicl — Google review
The food tastes really Great, almost Excellent. Services are not bad and the vibes for Bali's traditional restaurant are great. The only minus here is the price is too high. But maybe it's in a crowded area. For 1 glass of filtered drink water, got charged for Rp 8000, and so on. Overall this is a Great Restaurant for Tourists to try one of the Best Balinese Food, but not for daily consumptions
Aldo A — Google review
Walked from Melasti down to this flippin' gem for the Nasi Campur "special" Was not disappointed. They warn you it's spicy but nothing a white dude who enjoys a curry can't handle. Crunchy veg, tasty curry accompaniments and a sate for a whole 80k. Well worth the walk from Legian.
Neal O — Google review
We went to this restaurant in 2010, 2016 and today 2025. It's the food, location & ambience that makes us come back each time we're in Bali. ❤️ We'll be back again. Highly recommended especially the gado-gado, sate babi (pork skewer), carbonara, bolognese & alpukat. Basically everything is nice. 🤭 P/S: Didn't take a photo when we were there in 2010.

Our first dinner in Kuta and really like it, especially for the pork satay and any fried food you should order.

Asian restaurant
Fat Chow is a unique Asian restaurant located on Poppies Lane 2, offering a diverse menu with dishes like Tom Yum, Bahn Mi, Laksa, and more. The restaurant prides itself on its sustainable decor and traditional Asian recipes passed down through generations. Diners can enjoy options ranging from healthy bowls and stir-fries to exotic flavors like Szechuan or Malaysian curries. The outdoor seating provides a pleasant dining experience while the friendly staff are always ready to offer recommendations.
This is hands down the best Asian restaurant in Bali! Every dish we tried—Thai, Indonesian, or Chinese—was simply outstanding. The Tom Yum was a standout; it's truly the best I've ever tasted from anywhere! For an appetizer, we had the Pandan Chicken, which was incredibly flavorful. The Chicken Cashew was equally impressive, cooked to perfection with a delightful mix of vegetables and sauce. I highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!
Menna H — Google review
The staff at Fat chow are incredible. This was our second visit to the restaurant and loved it. The food came quick and was the best we had from our time in Kuta. The restaurant was busy and we didn’t pre book. But within 5 minutes the staff seated us and took our order. Highly recommended.

We are from Thailand and we are quite fussy with Thai food but this place smashed it!! Amazing seafood fried rice which reminded me of Thai street food with the fried wok smell. The vibes is chill and the favor of the Tokyo prawn is our favorites need to order for the 2nd plate. Ice tea also nice and fresh too. We ordered Seafood fried rice, ice lemongrass tea, ice tea, Tokyo prawn , pandan chicken
Aree C — Google review
If you are near Kuta Beach and Beachwalk Plaza, don't miss out on dining at Fat Chow! This restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere and a diverse menu. I highly recommend the fried rice—it’s flavorful and perfectly cooked! The service is friendly, and the location is convenient for a meal after a day at the beach. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a relaxing dinner, Fat Chow is definitely worth a visit! 🍚🥢

Good selection of thai and vietnamese food. Tasted quite good too. Excellent service and cute place! Due to location, there are no parking for cars.

-Chow’s Dirty Tom Yum (IDR 96K) Rich and flavorful, though the squid was a bit overcooked -Thai Roast Pork Belly (IDR 108K) The pork was super tender and tasty -Iced Lemongrass Tea (IDR 35K) Refreshing taste P.s.: -Overall, nice ambience and good food -Service time was around 10 minutes -Weekday dinner was quite calm and not too crowded -Prices are before 10% tax and 5% service charge -Staff speaks English quite fluently, which makes ordering easy
Edlyn A — Google review
The foods was alright nothing special. The chocolate brownies smoothie is too small portion. The nasi campur taste normal not too special and portions consider small. But the presentation was nice.
Desmond L — Google review
We just went for a drink and some spring rolls, and the experience was delightful. The service was immediate and very friendly, making us feel welcome. The place is kid-friendly, pleasantly lively without being too noisy. The menu offers a nice variety, and the iced tea is absolutely on point—refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for a warm day.

My happy place. Great food, huge servings, well made cocktails…and a Horison pool…or the beach if you want to cross the road. We came two days and enjoyed the hospitality immensely… The fisherman’s plate is absolutely fantastic…the best I have eaten anywhere! They also have a great deal on Sunday’s, ($50/500,000rp each) for a cocktail/sushi class, ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET (4hrs), and free access to the hotel pool club next door.
Reade S — Google review
The food was delicious, the view was amazing, the staff were very friendly, and the pool was great. Perfect place to spend the whole day. I would definitely come back next time I visit Bali.
Narae S — Google review
Food was slightly above average, and unfortunately, several items we wanted to try weren’t available. When we tried ordering alternatives, some of those were also unavailable. Service was a bit slow as well. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is great and the vibes are perfect for hanging out with friends over some drinks.
Kian Y — Google review
EDIT: i recently posted a 5 star review for this location however after my poor experience today i have decided to edit my review. my mum and i are staying at the connected resort (mandira). we have been here for a week and used the pool most days. today i was told that i wasn’t allowed to sit there unless i wanted to buy a cocktail. i knew there was a min spend for the booths but there were no signs on the lounge chairs. we have been here for 7 days and no one had informed us. i explained this to the server and he became annoyed and told me to ask anyone else who was there today and they all knew they had to pay. over the next 10 mins he came up to me multiple times telling me to order. when i asked the front desk they said that shouldn’t have happened and the min spend is only for out of house guests (which makes sense). the service today was so poor. we should not have to pay to use a pool at our own resort. so sad after such positive experiences all week. highly recommend!! we were swimming in the (gorgeous) pool when heavy rain hit. we were offered a seat inside to watch the rain over the ocean. a lovely man (i’m assuming maybe the owner) was eating food but paused to come give us umbrellas and fresh warm towels to warm up. while the kitchen wasn’t open yet, we ordered smoothies which were delicious. all of the staff were so sweet and the views were spectacular!!
Isabella — Google review
Just had lunch here on our last day! Wish I had found this place sooner! Food was great, generous servings and excellent presentation! Even came out with a complimentary dessert and singing happy birthday for our daughter’s birthday. It’s the small things that make a place great! Great cocktails too!
Guy N — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous spot for a cheeky sunset dinner date. With a 2 for 1 on particular beers wines and cocktails, shisha pipe by the pool, amazing atmosphere and service, delishous food and your choice of chilling in the pool or spa? What more can you ask for 😁👌 highly recommended!!
Cheesy S — Google review
Staffs were very friendly and helpful! They checked on me every time and brought a bowl with lime to wash my hands for eating the 2-tower seafood platter! It is just across the beach and the 1st floor was covered with sand instead if wooden floors. Coconut mint cocktail was also nice! I didn’t expect so much of my seafood to be raw on the platter, but wasn’t sick the next day, so it must have been fresh! Kids are prohibited from climbing up the stairs and only allowed on the first floor.
Sook H — Google review
The best food we had so far! The place looked beautiful and it was really comfortable and relaxed. The only thing we didn’t quite like was the pool, the water seemed dirty. We also saw people smoking, eating and drinking in the pool. What may have caused this. Staff is extremely friendly.

Brunch restaurant
Crumb & Coaster is a trendy and stylish cafe located in Kuta, offering a mix of familiar Indonesian dishes and global cuisine such as pasta and Thai curry. This popular spot is known for its exceptional hot and cold coffee selections, making it a go-to destination for coffee enthusiasts. The cafe's menu caters to all types of food lovers, featuring options like The Yoga Breakfast, The Big Surfer Breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, salads, wraps, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free choices.
Amazing food that comes out super hot, no lukewarm dishes over here which make you worry whether or not it’s safe to eat. Great service too, they’re so quick and attentive it’s wonderful. Can pay with card and cash as expected and I really recommend this place. We’ve eaten here 4 times now and each day the food never disappoints. The bruschetta is to die for if you like nice bread and all the food we have tried is elite level. The cocktails are also so tasty and adequately strong. Give it a go, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Robert M — Google review
Although not all the food I ordered was to my liking, I absolutely loved the lava cake, it was definitely the highlight! 🍫✨ The ambience was great, with dimmed lights that gave the place a cool and slightly mysterious vibe. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas, which makes it flexible depending on your mood. Service was also excellent. I’d definitely come back again to try something else from the menu!
Nadia M — Google review
The food was overall amazing! The staff are friendly and generally fluent in English. Would highly recommend this place to others. Also it's nice to dine at as you can beat the heat. The inside is adequately AC'ed I had the wet burrito (delectable, very filling), my wife had the breakfast burrito (also amazing) and my in-laws had the chicken avocado wrap (was unfortunately a bit dry) and the chicken schnitzel sandwich (the sour dough bread was good but the over sandwich was a bit dry also). But I will definitely come again in my next visit!!
James T — Google review
I recently visited Crumb & Coaster in Kuta, and it truly exceeded my expectations! I ordered their Benesari Smoothie Bowl, and honestly, it was out of this world amazing. I’ve tried many smoothie bowls before, but theirs stands out as one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The overall ambience of the café is really nice — cozy, aesthetic, and thoughtfully designed. Even the little details, like their premium hand soap in the restroom, show how much care they put into creating a great experience for their guests. I didn’t get the chance to try their other dishes this time, but their pasta and other menu items looked incredibly tempting. I’ll definitely come back to try more on my next visit. Location-wise, it’s just a short walking distance from Beachwalk Mall Kuta, which is super convenient. For those coming by car, parking might be a bit tricky since the café sits in a narrow alley, but they do have parking space for motorcycles. Overall, an amazing spot in Kuta — highly recommended especially for smoothie bowl lovers!
Julius A — Google review
The best breakfast cafe around Seminyak/Kuta located on a busy road. The food was exceptionally good specially the Mango/Coconut smoothy bawl. Egg Benedict’s, pan-cakes and egg croissants were all very good quality including the milkshakes. The cafe was busy for late breakfast but staff was pleasant and efficient. Overall a good experience which I recommend.
M J — Google review
Quite surprise to see this place has improved so much since the last time I saw. The resto is more spacious and cozy. Their service is great... All the staffs are friendly and greet foreigners and locals with the same respect and friendliness. The foods and drinks came quick and delicious. I can see my self sitting alone in one of the corner, sipping coffee and eat their cheese n ham croissant while enjoying the busy street there.
Lidia ( — Google review
We liked this restaurant in Kuta. They were almost full when we reached and people kept coming. The restaurant had different sitting areas. They have a big menu with a variety of dishes. I ordered a veg burger (told them to not put meat) and my husband ordered a chicken burger. Both were good. Our mocktails were good too
Prachi C — Google review
Nestled in the heart of Kuta, Crumb & Coaster served up more than just great food — it delivered an experience that left us full, happy, and genuinely cared for. We arrived during a busy afternoon, my partner on crutches and four hungry kids in tow. Right from the moment we stepped in, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They quickly rearranged seating to accommodate us comfortably and made sure my partner was looked after — a small gesture, but one that spoke volumes about their service mindset. Now let’s talk food: fantastic doesn’t even begin to cover it. From fresh, flavorful bowls to indulgent breakfast platters, everything was spot-on. The kids were just as impressed — and if you have children, you know that’s no small feat! They loved the vibrant juices and mocktails on offer, and the meals came out quickly, perfectly portioned and beautifully plated. The vibe? Relaxed and effortlessly cool — a mix of island charm and modern café culture. Whether you're a digital nomad in need of a good flat white or a family looking for a solid brunch spot, Crumb & Coaster hits the mark. Would we go back? Absolutely. It’s not just a meal — it’s a place where good food meets great hospitality. And in the chaos of travel, that kind of care makes all the difference.

The extensive menu features a wide range of classic North Indian dishes as well as more exotic options, ensuring a satisfying experience for even the most discerning food enthusiasts. The restaurant's charming decor adds to the overall ambiance, while the welcoming staff ensures a homely feel.
If you are craving authentic Indian flavors in Bali, Spice Mantra is a must-visit! The Butter Chicken was perfectly creamy and rich, paired beautifully with fresh, fluffy naan and fragrant saffron rice. The spices were balanced just right—not overpowering, but full of depth and warmth. I also loved their signature cocktail with a hint of star anise—it added such a unique touch to the meal! The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy yet elegant, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. Highly recommend if you want an authentic Indian dining experience with amazing quality and presentation!

Ayu was great and hospitable. Food was brought out extremely fresh and quickly. Portions are generous and can easily be shared but if you like it too much like I did then dont share. Heat level was there without killing the flavor. This was my first time trying a naan with cheese and I can say it was extremely enjoyable. The atmosphere and music was perfect. Truly recommend the place for the food and most importantly the people.

We visited Spice Mantra in Kuta and I really think that this is the best Indian restaurant in Bali. The food is full of rich, authentic flavors, and everything tastes freshly made with care. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are kind and attentive without being pushy. Just take a look at their bar zone - wow, amazing. We came for lunch and left truly impressed—the dishes were delicious, the drinks refreshing, try the mango juice! If you’re craving Indian food while in Bali, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Delicious food, with dishes I’ve never seen at any other Indian restaurant, such as the Shahi lamb sliders (highly recommended!). The tandoori prawns are fantastic, as is the butter chicken. Special thanks to Ana for the excellent and friendly service. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in Kuta again!

Nestled in the heart of Kuta, Poppies Restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its outdoor seating surrounded by lush greenery and a tranquil ambiance. Since 1973, this restaurant has been serving up a delightful array of Balinese and international specialties, including fresh seafood dishes and authentic Indonesian cuisine. Love coming to Poppies. My family has been eating here since I was little. Beautiful garden atmosphere. Service was kind and brought us mosquito spray and took pictures for us. The food was delicious. We had the Nasi Goreng and satay chicken. Recommend the crème brûlée for dessert, big serving and for a great price!

I absolutely loved this little spot and would totally recommend it! It's such a lovely, relaxing place right in the middle of busy street. The local Balinese food is cooked really well and looks super fancy on the plate. Plus, they've got happy hour cocktails and snacks! The staff are really nice too. PS - the pork satay was a tad chewy, but still tasted really good! Recommend you try everything that we ordered especially the tomato soup!

What a delightful find Poppies Restaurant was! Set amongst beautiful gardens and pond such a lovely quiet atmosphere away from the noise of the streets. Had been told to try the Pina Coladas which come in a mocktail choice and they were delicious. The Nasi Goreng was also very good. Definitely worth a visit. And they provide mosquito spray too.

Did you even go to Bali if you didn't visit Poppies? This restaurant is a true authentic Balinese dining experience. The hanging gardens and surrounding ponds provide a beautiful ambience. The service is perfect, not over the top but still attentive and very friendly - even providing bug spray, and cold towels after dinner. The food is divine, and also provides a great wine list. I'm not sure why anyone would give a bad review of this place. Best dinner in Bali, every time we visit.
Kayla O — Google review
We have returned to Bali after 30 years to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The restaurant does not seem to have changed one bit. Idilic garden setting with the best satay sauce in all of Bali IMHO. The Tom Yum Gai and the Lumpia are super tasty. Highly recommended. And only 6 hour flight from Melbourne for a dinner and weekend stay.👍
Michael A — Google review
We had dinner here when we were staying at Poppies Cottage across the street. Unfortunately the food was nothing special, it was average. But the atmosphere and the staff were a great experience. It is set in a lovely garden surrounded by a small lake, flowers and plants, which attracts lots of mosquitoes. The staff provide mosquito spray. Poppies restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in Kuta and it’s worth a visit if you are in Kuta. Service tak is added here.

Kuta Social Club is a trendy rooftop bar and restaurant located next to a stunning infinity pool, cabanas, and daybeds. It offers an array of signature cocktails and refreshing juices alongside Mediterranean dishes such as charcoal-grilled king prawns, seafood platters, and the impressive Tomahawk steak. This exclusive rooftop pool club at MAMAKA by Ovolo provides luxurious lounge areas with panoramic views of Bali's western beaches.
Amazing last dinner for me in Kuta, zi wanted to spoil my self and I couldn't find better place! I loved the lobster and all the rest of food, staff was amazing (thanks TAMA!) and pity that this restaurant didn't have a lot of customers when I went. But I would love to go back there!! One of the best lobster of my life, so I wanted to meet the chef in person. And believe me because I'm coming from sea side in Italy (Sicily). So I know how good sea food tastes ;)

This place is cute and that’s about it. Service was as expected for 3 stars. The food tho was not it. Lacked flavor- like basic flavor (salt and pepper). Presentation was solid but I would do yourself a favor and skip this joint. We paid $692,200. We dined on the roof deck overlooking the ocean which is awesome. Ordered the cheesy truffle fries: -0/10. They have some pretty weird gravy on them. Also ordered the chicken pita type of thing: 3/10, no flavor at all not in the cream or in the chicken but the pita bread was good. My husband got the lobster roll, he rates 6/10. He also said it didn’t have much flavor. The only good part of the meal was the mango tea. And the view.

Mamaka by Ovolo in Kuta is such a refreshing surprise right in the heart of the chaos. The hotel has this perfect mix of modern style and relaxed Bali vibes. From the moment you step into the lobby, the design stands out — colorful, artsy, and very Instagram-worthy. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome straight away, always smiling and ready to help with anything you need. The rooms are bright, clean, and have this fun tropical feel. The beds are incredibly comfy, and the small touches like complimentary snacks and drinks really add to the experience. The rooftop pool is definitely the highlight — amazing ocean views, great music, and a perfect spot to catch the sunset with a cocktail in hand. Location-wise, you can’t get better — right across from Kuta Beach, surrounded by cafes, bars, and shops. It’s lively but still feels like your own little oasis when you’re inside. The breakfast selection is great too, with both local and international choices. Overall, Mamaka is ideal if you want a stylish, energetic, and comfortable stay in Kuta. It’s got everything for a fun Bali getaway — good vibes, good food, and good people.

Kuta social club is amazing. It serves one of the best grill I have had. Their menu is updated from what I thought it was on Google. I wanted to go to street 23 originally but saw their menu so I went to the roof top instead. All the vegetable grills are great. Except that the side grill veggies are spicy that wasn't easy for me to finish up as I had all those dishes on the picture alone. It has great view of the beach and it was quiet. They pride their fire tiramisu , but I think their grill vegetables and vegetarian dishes are the best they can offer. The grill kind prawns were fresh too. I'd recommend eating here, no hesitation. Good price for a hotel restaurant.

Such a fun vibe and great food as well. The manager was so lovely - even knew some lines from the Haka after mentioning we were from New Zealand ;) class act all around! Will definitely be back next time I’m in Bali.

Wonderful views of the sunset over Kuta Beach. It may be worthwhile reserving a spot up near the balcony to secure a decent spot. Service was good. Food was good. Clean amenities and an upbeat, modern decor. Worth a visit with a partner or in a group.

From the moment you step out onto the rooftop, you just know you've found something special. The view of the sunset is absolutely insane. I'm talking about those "pinch yourself, is this real?" kind of moments where the sky just lights up in every shade of orange, pink, and purple you can imagine. It's not just a pretty backdrop; it's the whole vibe. There's a cool breeze up there, the air feels just right, and everyone's got this relaxed, happy look on their face as they watch the spectacle unfold. You feel like you're on top of the world, literally, looking out over Bali as the day turns into night.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Great food, live music and friendly stuff. We got our starters and main at the same time, but the staff was very friendly about it. They took it back and we got dessert on the house. Great experience.

Hard Rock Cafe Bali

American restaurant
Hard Rock Cafe Bali is a renowned rock 'n' roll-themed restaurant that has been serving up high-energy vibes, American classics, and Balinese-inspired dishes since 1993. Located conveniently across the street from Kuta Beach, it offers a hearty menu of Legendary Steak Burgers and specialty entrees alongside carefully crafted cocktails. The cafe also hosts live performances by both international and local artists every night at 10PM, making it a perfect spot for music lovers to enjoy their favorite tunes while dining.
Reservation is highly recommended as sometimes they have private events. Family with kids should come earlier for a quieter dinner with family vibes as night fall, it's a totally vibe. familiar rock 'n' roll vibe you expect, packed with music memorabilia. The atmosphere is lively and fun, often with live bands, making it a good spot for an energetic night out. I found the classic American food, like burgers and fries, to be consistently good, though you're definitely paying "tourist prices" for the brand and experience. Service is usually efficient. It's a reliable choice if you're craving Western comfort food and a loud, upbeat setting.

I came here for a private event and absolutely loved the experience. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly accommodating, helping us with the survey, food tasting, and all the way through to our main night. Their support really made the event run smoothly ✨ The buffet was excellent, with a great variety of food that we enjoyed while listening to live music. The dance floor was also fun, perfect for both dancing and just playing along with the crowd. Our group of 50+ people had a fantastic time. The only downside was the limited parking space. I’d definitely recommend guests to use rideshare services. There is additional parking available, but I guess it’s rented from locals, so it comes with an extra fee and requires a bit of a walk to reach the venue. Overall, a memorable and lively spot for events, with great service, music, and atmosphere.

The best Hard Rock cafe I've visited to date! The live music was amazing, creating a great atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly. We couldn't fault our food, starters and mains were delicious. Although......as a collector of the hurricane glass, I was disappointed that they didn't have any in stock!

Had an amazing time at Hard Rock Cafe on one of my nights out… friendly staff, great atmosphere/vibes, awesome band, and excellent food (a bit on the pricy side, but definitely worth the money). If you’re looking for a great place to eat or even to have a drink, and for those that enjoy their live music like I do, Hard Rock Cafe is the place for it. Will definitely be back again on many more Bali trips.

Excellent service from Nito!! It's a wonderful dinner place in Bali, with nostalgia vibe and great song choice which I LOVE it (BonJovi, the Beatles, Guns N roses etc.) There's live band at 9 o'clock we strongly recommend coming here to listen and enjoy the night of Bali.
YC C — Google review
The atmosphere at Hard Rock Café was excellent, the food was wonderful, and the service was good. However, as a non-smoker I felt very uncomfortable because smoking was allowed inside, which made it difficult to breathe. Unfortunately, my partner, who has asthma, could not stay longer as the smell of cigarettes was too strong. To my knowledge, Bali has a provincial law banning smoking in indoor public places, including restaurants, so this was disappointing. Another point was the bill. Besides the mandatory 10% government tax, there was also a 7.5% service charge. I understand that this charge may be standard practice in Bali, but it was surprising because many other restaurants I visited did not apply it. I believe it would be better if guests were clearly informed about these additional charges at the entrance or on the menu, so they know what to expect. I truly hope Hard Rock Café enforces the no-smoking law more strictly and improves transparency with billing, because otherwise it is a great place with amazing food, atmosphere, and staff.

Great vibes, awesome food, and live music! Hard Rock Cafe Bali never disappoints! The atmosphere is energetic and fun — perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a night out. The burgers and cocktails were top-notch, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. We also loved the live band that brought the whole place to life. Great location right by the beach, and the rock-themed decor is iconic. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in Bali!

Restaurant
Kori Restaurant & Bar in Kuta is a popular dining spot located on the bustling Poppies Lane, offering a wide range of Asian and international dishes in a relaxed garden setting. Established in 1998, this restaurant is known for its diverse menu featuring both Balinese and Indonesian cuisine as well as international favorites. The lush garden ambiance with shaded cabanas and ponds provides an intimate dining experience away from the crowds of Kuta.
We tried the beef satay with peanut sauce and half duck specialty of the house. Welll cooked and served. Plus, they have polite and helpful personnel. One in all, a very good experience compared to other places in the area.

We had a fantastic meal, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The food and the service was 5 star.

Wow! Great, no...amazing food in a upmarket, beautiful romantic water garden setting. Cooked perfectly, presented well with great flavours, from starter to dessert. The best place after 3 months in south Bali without a doubt I can't believe this oasis exists in Kuta, at a great price too. Try it and enjoy the romantic moment.

This restaurant is one I first visited about 20 years ago, so I came back to find it again. The food is still delicious, and I especially love the satay. The décor is beautiful and gives a cozy, homely feeling with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are also very friendly.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, and we are so glad we did! The grounds are absolutely stunning, the staff are incredible and the food is delicious. We booked a cooking class for 2 and we couldn't recommend the food and service any more - 12/10. Leaving the restaurant was like saying good bye to family. We can't wait to come back!

I tried Kori Restaurant and the food was not bad. The flavors were okay, but nothing very special. Prices felt a little high for what you get, though the place is worth a try.
Alan H — Google review
Kori Restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it's an immersive experience that transports you straight to a serene Balinese village. From the moment you step through the entrance, the atmosphere is simply lovely—it feels less like a restaurant and more like a hidden tropical retreat.

Kori is a great place to visit in Bali. We have been here many times and never disappoints, everything on the menu is delicious and full of flavor. The staff here are very friendly and the toilets are nice and clean. I would recommend trying the mixed sate or similar, it’s absolutely delicious and a lot of fun.

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport

Airport
I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International, is the main gateway to Bali. Situated in the southern part of the island, it hosts numerous international and domestic flights daily. The airport is conveniently located near various accommodations such as Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua and Maya Sanur Resort & Spa, both offering seamless transfers from the airport.
Bali Airport (Ngurah Rai International Airport) is well-maintained and offers a pleasant experience for travelers. There are plenty of good eateries and shopping options throughout the terminal. A nice touch is the availability of foot massage services inside the airport, which can be a great way to relax before or after a flight. The washrooms are generally clean and thoughtfully decorated with fresh flowers, adding a refreshing, local touch. Additionally, the Klook or Grab pickup point features an air-conditioned seating lounge, which is very convenient, especially when waiting for your ride. Flights get rescheduled/delayed quite often so check and confirm before you reach airport. Overall, the airport provides a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for both arrivals and departures.

A great airport experience! Ngurah Rai International Airport is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and helpful, from immigration to security. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and souvenir stores to enjoy while waiting for your flight. The traditional Balinese design elements throughout the terminal add a unique cultural touch. Everything ran smoothly, and I was impressed by the efficiency and atmosphere. Highly recommended for travelers coming to or leaving Bali!
Chung P — Google review
I like the arrival terminal more than the departure one. The arrival is way more beautiful, you can find dozens of food stalls and affordable minimarket. While in the departure, things are so expensive and only limited food stalls are available. However the staff in both terminal are nice and friendly.

🌍 Good international airport overall especially great for departures. The departure process is smooth and well-organized, with a clean and modern terminal. ✈️ Arrivals are decent, but be prepared for long lines at visa on arrival, immigration, and customs. It can easily take 2 to 3 hours just to get through everything, especially during peak times. 💰 Currency exchange rates at the airport are very high, so it’s better to exchange only a small amount here and look for better rates in the city. 💧One important note: You are not allowed to bring even sealed water bottles past security. You’ll need to buy water after the security check, so keep that in mind –l water is treated like a precious commodity inside the airport. Overall, a good airport with modern facilities, but prepare for a slow arrival process and some inconveniences related to costs and waiting times.

Pretty cool airport—modern and clean with lots of motorbikes and taxis available right outside. When I arrived it wasn’t busy at all, which made it easy to get through. There are also plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. One tip: I got my visa through the computer kiosk before baggage claim, but then I still waited in the long line not realizing I could bypass it. The long lines are really for people getting their visa in person and maybe paying cash. If you fill out the arrival card online ahead of time and use the kiosk, you can skip that line completely. It’s an easy process and much faster.
Lydia C — Google review
Upon arrival, everything was surprisingly seamless and efficient. The process flowed smoothly from immigration to baggage claim, and I was out of the airport within about 30 minutes of landing, which was impressive. One unique touch I really appreciated was at baggage claim — there was someone standing with a pillow to catch luggage as it came off the belt to prevent bags from slamming or getting damaged. A small detail, but one that stood out and felt thoughtful. When exiting baggage claim, you’re immediately greeted by beautiful greenery, which makes for a warm and inviting first impression of Bali. It felt like a gentle welcome into the island’s nature-filled aesthetic. I stayed at the Novotel Airport Hotel, and while the location is incredibly convenient, navigating to it was not. There are no clear signs that say “Novotel”, so I ended up confused, wandering through a parking garage and even passing construction areas. It felt awkward and far more chaotic than it should have been. Only the next day did I discover there is a direct and simple path that connects the airport to the hotel internally — I just hadn’t been guided the right way. Better signage or staff direction would make a huge difference for first-time guests. The departure experience was less smooth. It was difficult to get assistance and felt confusing at times. The airport app and staff both informed me that my flight was delayed, but it turned out not to be delayed, which created unnecessary stress. There was also a moment at check-in where they tried to have me sign a waiver for damage to my luggage — damage that had actually occurred on my arrival. I declined to sign, but it still made the process uncomfortable and unclear. Bali’s airport has charm, thoughtful touches, and efficiency on arrival — but navigation and communication could be better, especially for hotel access and departure procedures. Still, between the warm welcome, friendly first impressions, and airport amenities, I’d travel through here again — just a little more prepared next time.
Latisha D — Google review
The international departure area of Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport is spacious, clean, and fairly well-organised. While there are only two main lounges on the 2nd floor, the terminal makes up for it with plenty of shops and dining options—especially on the first floor, where you’ll find a wide variety of local and international brands. Everything on the departure side feels smooth and pleasant, with clear signage and helpful staff. However, the arrival experience can be quite hectic. Baggage claim tends to be slow, and the crowds at immigration can feel overwhelming during peak hours. Still, once you’re past that, the departure experience is relatively relaxed and easy to navigate. If they can fix the hectic chaos at the arrival side, then it would be perfect
