Cerberus Brewing Company

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Nestled in Old Colorado City, Cerberus Brewing Company is a laid-back brewpub renowned for its selection of over 20 craft beers on tap. The establishment offers a modern twist on pub food and is particularly celebrated for its hazy IPAs and elevated cuisine. Visitors can relax in the beer garden, complete with comfortable Adirondack chairs, while enjoying dishes like sky-high nachos or pub fries paired with an Elysium IPA.
Cerberus was a great place to stop in for a burger. They also have a wide variety of drink menu here. Great location conveniently located on the corner with street parking plus private parking around back. To my surprise there was a smoker pit going in the rear parking lot today where they smoke their brisket. Such a rare sight these days surprising and pleasant. I was greeted by friendly staff the moment I walked in the door. I definitely felt welcome and at home the entire dining experience. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger to my surprise came out as a double meat Patty so all I can say is be ready the burgers are big. Great flavor on the burger very Savory with a hint of sweetness and the brioche bun is always my preferred favorite. This restaurant offers outdoor seating and a beer garden as well as indoor seating. This entire facility was very neat organized and clean. I would recommend Cerberus for a great dining experience.

Really enjoyed the potato fries! They were so delicious. Had the half brisket sandwich and soup of the day. It was italian wedding aoup - it was good! A little too salty for my taste but still good. The beetwich sandwich was good too - definitely on the sweeter side. Enjoyed the green chile soup!

What an amazing place! Unique menu items, outside area for you and your dog. A Bark-cuterie Board for your pup too! Reasonably priced entrees and drinks. Teacher specials on Thursday nights with District ID. Excellent food and excellent service! I’m so impressed!
Lynne M — Google review
We went for brunch because it was recommended online. I don’t think brunch is their specialty. There were only a couple things to choose from, it lacked seasoning and they don’t have jelly. They do have delicious mimosas and you get one free if you show up before 11:00 and ask for it. The service was phenomenal.
Katherine F — Google review
We stopped in at 11am on a Sunday for brunch. It was moderately busy and we got a seat right away. There were brunch specials but you could also order from the normal menu. Mimosas, Bloody Mary, and Screwdrivers were $6. I got the breakfast poutine skillet (vegetarian version with drunken beans and mushrooms) and my husband got a Cuban with potato wedges. Everything looked delicious when it came out (pretty quickly too) and we were pleasantly surprised by the taste. Firstly I thought the potatoes and drunken beans on my plate were the stars of the show, but it was really the bread. The toast served with my dish and the bread on my husband's sandwhich...wow we will be dreaming about that bread. Service was good and there was plenty of shade to sit in on the patio. Overall we really enjoyed our experience here!

Julia was outstanding! She struck the perfect balance of professionalism and personality — attentive without hovering, friendly without being over the top. Our drinks stayed full, our food arrived right on time, and she handled everything with a great sense of humor. It’s rare to find service that feels both efficient and genuinely warm. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Julia!
Jason R — Google review
Cerberus Brewery has quickly become one of my favorite places in town, and for good reason. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, laid-back, and full of personality. But what really made our experience unforgettable was the combination of stellar beer, mouthwatering food, and fantastic service. Let’s talk beer first—Drake High End Lager is hands down one of the smoothest, most well-balanced lagers I’ve had in a long time. Crisp, clean, and incredibly drinkable. On the other end of the flavor spectrum, the Mexican OT is bold and unique, with just the right kick. If you like complexity in your brew, don’t skip this one. Now for the food: do not leave without trying the truffle fries or the brisket grilled cheese. Perfectly crispy with just the right amount of truffle oil and parmesan with garlic aioli - absolutely addictive. And a huge shoutout to our server, Cora, who was the cherry on top of an already amazing visit. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests having a great time. Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a great place to relax and enjoy amazing food, Cerberus Brewery is a winner. Can’t wait to come back!

Breakfast restaurant
Mountain Shadows Restaurant is a cozy converted house in Old Colorado City, offering down-home breakfast and lunch dishes, with early dinner available on Thursdays through Sundays. The restaurant has a homey atmosphere and is known for its huge portions of comfort food made with entirely homemade ingredients. Featured on the Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, it's a perfect stop during a morning trip to Old Colorado City or Manitou Springs.
First time at the restaurant, classic breakfast place. Coffee was strong and good. Service was good for as busy as it was, could have used a refill at least once on the coffee. Breakfast burrito was very good, big portions. Pancakes were light, fluffy, and done very well. Worth a stop.
Thomas H — Google review
Excellent food and the service was outstanding. We were a group of four for lunch and arrived around one. The restaurant closes at 2. We did not feel rushed or that we were getting the left overs. Everything was served hot and fresh. The wait staff were friendly and awesome. We will be back again with other friends.

I will start by saying I’m a little biased being from the south, but I got excited when I read they were voted “Best biscuits and gravy” back in 2015. I don’t know what has changed since then but it was far from the best. The biscuits themselves were really good, but they use sausage balls made for pizza and all they do is drop some handful of these sausage ball/chunks into white gravy… the sausage was chewy and tasted boiled when it should have been fried separately and added in. Super super disappointing and I have to believe it’s because it’s a cost thing and it’s cheaper to get these premanufactured sausage balls. The rest of the food was quality and I’d probably go back again but just wouldn’t order Biscuits and gravy again.

One of our go to spots. Cinnamon rolls are so delicious but, you better get there early before they are gone. Chicken fried steak and eggs is no disappointment either (my go to). Country biscuit is real good as well, matter of fact, I heard it being ordered like 4 times when we were there. Roast beef sandwich is so delicious, my wife is a picky eater and she loves it. BLT turkey wrap with fries is delicious as well. Just remember, this food is cooked to order so have patients.
Safety G — Google review
We just had the best breakfast at this eclectic, little spot. Visiting from the true south and their country fried steak, biscuits and gravy slapped! I asked for extra crispy steak and the kitchen delivered. Sarah was the delightfully hilarious steward of food and laughs that truly made our dining experience one of the best. “…these people all look like aliens.” Go here, ask for Sarah…tip her 100%

We loved the view of the mountains as we sat outside got a late breakfast. Staff is so nice and accommodating, the food was fantastic and plentiful! Every aspect was so good. The giant cinnamon roll (we had a half order for two diners and it’s plenty), the huevos rancheros and a traditional breakfast. Juice tasted fresh squeezed, coffee was good. The strawberry jam was homemade, as everything is there, and just delicious. Highly recommended.
Linda G — Google review
We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast on the patio with my uncle who's a regular. His go to is the corned beef omelet. I enjoyed the green chili omelet & the kid got the breakfast burrito (pictured). Everything was so good! Service was great also. The patio was a great spot to enjoy a beautiful morning. We got there about 8 with no wait & by the time we left there was a line.
Laura H — Google review
As seen on the show this is the home of the giant cinnamon roll. We got there a bit late for it though. But the Waitress was able to offer a double bowl of cinnamon bites. I had the roast beef sandwich w aju. I have never had roast beef this juicy. The aju was SUPER tasty, and when paired with the sammich it. Was. Amazing! Our Waitress Sara was awesome and had a special Minnie mouse pancake made for our daughter.

Marigold Cafe & Bakery

Bakery
Marigold Cafe & Bakery is a beloved culinary spot that embodies the local flavors and community vibe. Emphasizing fresh, locally sourced ingredients, the cafe presents a diverse menu reflecting Colorado's seasonal produce. From delectable breakfast choices to satisfying lunch options like sandwiches and salads, the cafe caters to various palates. Founded by a French chef and his American wife, Marigold offers bistro-style dishes at affordable prices.
The food was so good, I completely forgot to take pictures — it was all gone before I even thought about it! The service was just as impressive. The staff seemed genuinely loyal to the company and knew the menu inside and out. They made great recommendations, confidently explained the dishes, and checked in at just the right times to make sure we were enjoying everything. I would absolutely love to come back!
A A — Google review
My husband and I are relatively new to the area and Marigold was highly recommended for their desserts. My parents were visiting from the east coast and when we saw they offered dinner, we made reservations and are leaving very happy and stuffed! Food was delicious, their specials (tempura lobster and crispy Brussels sprouts) were amazing. Dessert lived up to the reputation. Our waitress was also so kind and knew answers to all the questions. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.
Cassie M — Google review
We went at the end of lunch on a Saturday so we were a little late getting there. Parents love this place. Great menu, very diverse. All the baked products are outstanding. Fish and chips were great, burger was decent, pizza and little weak. Dinner menu is much more formal and there is another location that's a little higher end. Recommend!
Matthew P — Google review
It is extremely rare for me to say that a restaurant is 5 stars. I am a very critical person when it comes to food. I have been cooking my entire life and it is a passion of mine. Marigold Cafe is absolutely worth 5 stars. I have been here 3 times now; once by myself, once with my family, and once with my wife on a date. All 3 times the service was fantastic. One of the owners brought out gifts for our daughters, he was very kind. As for the food I could instantly taste the quality and the level of effort put into the preparation. Everything was delicious and fresh. The entrees are a bit pricey but the kid's menu items are a steal at under $10 for large portions. For my family, Marigold is a guaranteed great experience.
Chris M — Google review
Don’t let the name or exterior fool you—this place is an absolute hidden gem! Hands down some of the best food I’ve had in Colorado Springs in a long time. Every bite was packed with flavor and felt like a fine dining experience. I’m honestly feeling lucky to have stumbled across it! The only reason it’s not a perfect five stars is the service—it could definitely be stepped up to match the quality of the food. But overall, absolutely worth a visit!
Chantel W — Google review
Met my grand daughter’s grandmother for lunch there today. We had not been there for several years and forgot how great their good and desserts are. I got the chicken Brie sandwich which came with pasta salad & my husband got the club sandwich which also came with a pasta salad. Frankie got their crab salad which is her favorite salad there. Our meals were delicious and we had an excellent waiter, Rhett who even took pictures of us to send to my grand daughter.
Tamara C — Google review
Loved this place. Everything was fantastic. The lunch menu is diverse and competitively priced with my Wife and I opting for the sandwiches and my kids the grilled cheese sandwiches. My grilled chicken was amazing with oozy Brie, crisp succulent chicken salad and beautiful homemade bread - Honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. My Wife gave similar feedback on the BLT and the kids were very happy with their choice! Our server was awesome! Attentive, happy and made the lunch from a good experience to a great experience (sorry forgot her name!). We also bought a loaf of their sourdough which we are currently enjoying. We’ll be back and would love to try their dinner menu which looks incredible.

Wow ! This is the best restaurant I have been to in a long time ! I am in the service industry and let me just say, Gus, who owns the place is Amaizing ! Really takes care of the locals and really took care of us because we came back after I did the trail run today. Danny, our server, was awesome and attentive. The drinks, food, everything- exceptional. I can see why this place is so popular- the desserts and bakery are also amazing and the hostess was a super accommodating as well !

Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs North Air Force Academy

Mentioned on
1 list
Hotel
Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs is a modern hotel with amenities like an indoor pool, gym, and a 24/7 convenience store. It's conveniently located near downtown Colorado Springs, offering easy access to attractions like Splash!, Colorado Springs Dance Theatre, Compassion International Global Ministry Center Tours, Pikes Peak, and Focus on the Family Welcome Center. The hotel also provides meeting facilities for small group events. Guests have praised the efficient Hilton app for last-minute bookings and smooth remote check-in process.
Highly Recommend – Fantastic Experience All Around I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs North, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel has clearly gone through renovations recently because the rooms felt brand new—modern, super clean, and very comfortable. The team here truly goes above and beyond. Every staff member I encountered was warm and professional, and I especially want to recognize Dani at the bar. She’s a total gem—welcoming, quick with a great drink, and just fun to chat with after a long day. Between the fresh rooms, the great service, and the perfect location near the Air Force Academy, this hotel checks all the boxes. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch stay in Colorado Springs.
Kevin S — Google review
I was extremely pleased with the experience I had at this Hilton; it was fairly cheap and worth the money I spent. I only stayed up here one night, in room 226, to go to an appointment the next morning. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable- which is always pleasant. The main lobby had a small area with snacks, a bar, dining tables, a lounge area, a TV and fireplace. Beautiful common area. The hallways were a little dark but not an issue for me. The room's TV worked, there were waters (extra $ unless you're a diamond member), a mini fridge, microwave, coffee bar area, a lounge chair and desk, closet area, and a decent sized bathroom. I can't speak to the fitness center or the pool as I never saw it. Their breakfast was pretty expansive (it was $9-$12) and included grab and go items (bagels, pastries, etc.) but also included hot items with a designated cook behind the counter. I stayed on a Thursday evening and they had a social hour with complimentary appetizers/drinks (first come, first serve), though I didn't partake. This hotel is centrally located in a safe, more high end neighborhood but is close to areas of interest, such as shopping, restaurants, I-25, and the Air Force Academy. The gal who checked me in was friendly and informative and knew the routine of giving me all needed information like the back of her hand. Negatives: My bed, having a metal frame, made a LOT of noise if I sat on the edge of the bed and would jump me every time because it let out a metallic bang; the faucet in the bath was dripping (and I couldn't get it to stop); and the hotel staff who checked me in mentioned room service but I couldn't find any information about it in the room. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and would definitely stay again.
Samantha L — Google review
The front desk staff were phenomenal — always friendly, professional, and eager to help. Their kindness made a stressful trip a little easier. The location was also ideal, being in close proximity to the Children’s Hospital, which was the main reason for staying. However, the breakfast situation was terrible and confusing. When I first walked up, I was immediately interrupted with a sharp “Can I help you?” and practically forced to sit down. The hostess seemed irritated, as if guests weren’t supposed to touch the accessible food items. It was abrupt and uncomfortable — especially first thing in the morning, when many guests staying here are likely visiting loved ones at the hospital and already have a lot on their minds. What made it worse was receiving a bill afterward, as if I’d eaten at a restaurant. Although I believe the intent may have been to create a “dining experience,” it instead catches people off guard and makes you feel like you’re being pushed into a setup you didn’t ask for. Personally, I prefer to just grab a quick breakfast and go — or take it back to my room if needed. I’ve stayed here several times while my grandson was in Children’s, and each time I’ve seen other guests frustrated or confused about getting a dining bill. One lady even refused to sign. Management should really consider adjusting this setup to make the experience more comfortable and considerate for guests.
Adena R — Google review
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very cheerful…a nice way to start the day. My two issues. The room air conditioner was very noisy; I had to sleep with it off and the room got very warm. There is a nice outside sitting area just off the restaurant area. It would have been nice to enjoy this area but it is used by smokers.
Steve G — Google review
We chose this hotel because the reviews said it was clean. Our room was not clean. When we first arrived I noticed the sink had a brown streak in it. I looked up under the edge and saw gunk that was running down making the streak when it got wet. On the floor was somebody’s contact lens. The next morning when I pulled back the top cover I discovered a nasty stained quilt. I wish I had checked it before I slept in it! I was trusting of this establishment on the fact it was a Hilton and the reviews all said it was very clean. I have learned my lesson and hope this review will help somebody else. ALWAYS check the room out well!
Becky — Google review
This hotel was very nice. we only stayed one night but the front desk lady was very nice and when she saw on the reservation that we had a dog she said she gave us a first floor room to make it easier to take him out which i really appreciated. The location is great and we woke up to beautiful views of the mountains. Also, this hotel inside was beautiful everywhere i looked. i will definetely return if i stay in colorado springs again!

I love this hotel so much I've stayed at it multiple times and recommended it to others. The rooms: The rooms are large and very comfortable. They're kept clean, too. Beds are comfortable, water pressure is nice. There's shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathroom. Plenty of storage for clothing, a mini fridge and microwave. Extras: Some nights they have a happy hour, which is a nice benefit. There's also a small convenience type shop at the front desk with some snacks, drinks, laundry detergent packages, etc. They have 2 washers and 2 dryers! I believe it's $1.00 to wash and $1.00 to dry. They have breakfast options (cold -- cereal, granola bars, yogurt, muffins and hot -- eggs, waffles, pancakes) for an additional fee. They also have a restaurant for lunch and dinner (again, for an additional fee.) Sometimes they ran out of certain things (pizza dough) but there are other restaurants nearby. The staff: have to give a shout-out to the amazing staff. They go above and beyond and are a large reason I have this hotel saved as a favorite. Doug at the front desk is absolutely amazing -- it wouldn't surprise me if people came back to the hotel solely because of his exceptional service. He is attentive, polite, smart, and full of recommendations should you need it. Chloe at the front desk was also very kind and attentive. I didn't see her as often due to when I was leaving/arriving at the hotel. Jasmine was bartending while we were there and made some excellent cocktails that we enjoyed. Chris was the only person in the kitchen whose name I got (unfortunately -- they were all great!) and he did an excellent job with our dinners. The hotel seemed well worth the cost and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Ashley — Google review
Front desk was a crazy experience. Room was ok. Old and rundown for a garden. My question is how do you keep a swimming pool so cold. No hot tub, I don’t understand why not but a warm pool would be nice. This thing is ice cold. Will never stay here again and I will go to Drury inn from now on. Way more professional and much nicer hotel. And please done come back with your corporate reply. No one reads yours. You just cater to the bad review.

Nestled in the heart of Colorado Springs, The Public House is a delightful haven for those seeking a laid-back atmosphere paired with delicious American fare and an impressive selection of local brews. As you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. With over 30 beers on tap, this pub is perfect for beer enthusiasts looking to unwind after a long day or catch up on their favorite sports games while enjoying tasty bites.
This was a pleasant surprise! We stopped in for a quick lunch. We knew it was a pub, and when we arrived it was mostly empty. That quickly changed as it filled up for lunch hour. There's plenty of free parking nearby. The food was absolutely delicious. Unusual options made it an interesting menu. My Caesar salad had a generous portion of perfectly-cooked chicken, and a wonderful lemony dressing. Others in our group were pleased to get gluten free pizza and said it was also very good. The service was prompt and pleasant as well. We will definitely be back.

The Public House Sports Bar in Colorado Springs delivers a standout experience for both sports fans and casual diners, combining a lively atmosphere with an impressive menu. One of the first things patrons will notice is the quality of the drinks. They are well-mixed, striking an ideal balance of flavors, and feature a selection that caters to a wide range of tastes. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic cocktail or something with a creative twist, the bartenders here know how to deliver. When it comes to the food, The Public House offers an appealing mix of comfort foods with a gourmet touch. The pretzels, for instance, are a must-try and uniquely prepared, setting them apart from typical bar fare. Served warm and paired with a choice of dipping sauces, they are the perfect snack for sharing or enjoying solo. For those with a bigger appetite, the burgers here are substantial. Crafted with high-quality ingredients, these oversized burgers offer juicy, savory bites and come in a variety of flavor profiles that cater to both traditional and adventurous palates. A visit wouldn’t be complete without trying the skewers, which are both delicious and perfectly cooked, making them an ideal choice for patrons seeking a lighter option. Additionally, The Public House’s buffalo wings come in a range of flavors, allowing guests to tailor their experience to their spice preference. The wings are well-prepared, with flavors that enhance rather than overpower, making them a solid choice for groups who want to sample multiple offerings. Overall, The Public House Sports Bar blends a relaxed ambiance with a menu that goes beyond typical sports bar expectations, making it a top choice in Colorado Springs.

We were traveling through and looked up great bar restaurants with good ratings, and this place was top of the list! So glad we tried it! Poutine was excellent. Flavor of the meat and gravy were so good. We had the jalapeño burger with an over-easy egg on it, and it was the best burger I've had in a long time! We also got the chicken pickle pizza and the flavors were excellent. Never something I would have usually ordered, but definitely worth it! All of the staff were very friendly. Fun bar atmosphere with music but also perfect for families!

First off I don’t drink alcohol so I can’t really speak on the alcohol side of this place. My some decided to bring us here for dinner. And the food was good. We got here before the place started to fill up. The atmosphere seams up beat the place is fairly clean. The food it self was good decent selection and fairly priced. I would be apposed to coming in again for food.

Absolutely all around fantastic experience! The food is fresh and SO tasty! The service was amazing, Andrew was SO attentive and he was pretty busy! It was our first time dining at The Public House, we will definitely be back … highly recommend! We ordered the French Dip with grilled onions and the Fire Burger. Not pictured the Poutine Fries (very good lots of roast beef).

While visiting my son in Colorado Springs, serving in the Air Force at Peterson space force base my wife and I took my son and his girlfriend to the public house for dinner at his recommendation. Service was prompt. The food was very well crafted an excellently presented. Prices were fair And the place was very clean. We were in and out in no time while I had no appetite as I wasn’t feeling great and I just needed dehydrate. Everyone else had full meals with burgers and sides. Everything looked exquisite was steaming hot and served promptly. Our server left after he took our order and I believe it was the owner or manager that completed the order. That wasn’t really an issue. Just something I thought I would mention. Clean place good food recommended

Paravicini's Italian Bistro

Mentioned on

Italian restaurant
Paravicini's Italian Bistro is a charming trattoria located in Colorado Springs, known for its classic Italian dishes and homemade sauces. Since its opening in 2003, this cozy restaurant has become a local favorite, offering authentic Italian cuisine that reflects the warmth of home. Chef Franco Pisani infuses his mother's recipes with a touch of Colorado's spirit, using locally sourced ingredients to create hearty and comforting Italian classics.
Unbelievably incredible. Such a Colorado Springs staple!!!!! Our waitress was Taylor and she was phenomenal! Probably some of the best service we've had locally. The food portions are insane so if you're trying to justify the price (which is affordable for the quality food you're getting) just know that you'll have a good square meal for the next day. These aren't your mommas mozzarella sticks, they are massive and amazing! So if you want organic tasting, great ingredients and superior service, this is the place to go! We had one entree, two meals, and 4 alcoholic beverages and only paid $150, that may sound like a lot but you're getting two days worth of food. 10/10.
Jodie P — Google review
Not sure why this restaurant is not closer to five stars because the food, the service and everything outstanding. Louise was our waitress and she did an amazing job at recommending drinks, wine, appetizers and food. She’s tried everything and did an amazing job at guiding us to the right things for us. We had the peach and Barada appetizer which unfortunately is seasonal but very good. In fact, the table next to us had the same thing. We also had the side Caesar salad and a pasta with olive oil, spinach and tomatoes. I couldn’t pass up the cheesecake with cherries and chocolate. You shouldn’t pass it up either. My husband spotted this restaurant as we were driving by and even though it was rated 4.5 and I usually only go to restaurants rated 4.8- I acquiesce to him and I am so glad I did! It really does deserve 5 stars. Try this amazing Italian restaurant!

My friend brought me here for dinner after we hiked the incline & it was nothing short of amazing! Definitely worth the 45 minute wait to be seated. I ordered the steak in cheese sauce with pasta & it was one of the best meals I've had in the area. They bring out salad & fresh baked bread too which was spectacular. We ordered a nice bottle of watermelon strawberry wine & finished our dinner off with cheesecake & ice cream. I highly recommend this restaurant & will be coming back to dine again!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Paravicini’s Italian Bistro, and it was perfect! I’m still dreaming about their vodka sauce it was absolutely delicious. Nanci coordinated everything and was AMAZING to work with. The staff even put up our decorations for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was incredible, the service was wonderful, and the whole evening went so smoothly. Truly a 10/10 experience!

Where do I even begin besides the fact that this is in Manitou which is a beautiful part of town to visit. This is some of the most delicious Italian food I've ever had and the prices are extremely fair. Two people. Two glasses of wine, two entrees and a cannoli for only a hundred bucks which these days is a pretty good deal. I had the chicken parmigiana and it was absolutely phenomenal. The staff was extremely friendly. The reservation process was extremely easy, not to mention it's a great atmosphere.

We went to Paravicini’s for our first Anniversary dinner. We had a wonderful experience. The food is incredible and the service was amazing. River was our server and she made our experience absolutely perfect. She was so kind, warm, and took great care of us throughout our meal. At the end, she surprised us with a free cannoli and little gift from the restaurant. I could not recommend this place highly enough.

Paravicini's is the definition of a classic, old school Italian restaurant! River is a fantastic server! She was personable and very knowledgeable about the menu items. My husband's lasagna was delicious and my Chicken Masala was as well. I'm not sure what their secret is, but the pasta has a wonderful flavor. Also, don't miss out on the fresh baked bread that can be eaten with olive oil & balsamic vinegar or with butter. We shared the Pumpkin Tiramisu for dessert which was delicious. A ++++ experience!!!
Mary J — Google review
This was pretty darned close to a 5 star experience for us. Our service was fantastic, the eatery itself was quaint and clean, and the food was on point. I loved everything I had and shared a few bites with others. The cannolis were junk. Tasteless and chalky and the tubes weren't filled at all. Those shouldn't have been served. But the tortellini, raviolis, appetizers, etc. were super flavorful, well plated, and appealing across the board. We'll go back, for sure.

Atomic Cowboy home of Denver Biscuit Co & Fat Sully's NY Pizza

Restaurant
Atomic Cowboy, home to the beloved Denver Biscuit Company and Fat Sully's NY Pizza, is a must-visit destination in Colorado Springs. The Denver Biscuit Company has gained a loyal following for its fluffy biscuits and inventive toppings, offering delicious biscuit sandwiches like the Franklin with fried chicken and bacon or the vegetarian Elmer with roasted mushrooms. Complement your meal with tasty sides such as tater tots or grits.
I chose this place because they serve food late night on weekdays, which is rare in Colorado Springs unfortunately. After a horribly scheduled graduation time, we needed room to meet up and celebrate as a family. We totally scored with Atomic Cowboy on Tejon. It was our first time- we enjoyed the food, cocktails, and atmosphere. We also had a fantastic and extremely friendly server, Marshall. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We highly recommend based on what we experienced and also know that there is more to be discovered at this place, so it will remain on the list next time we are in town. 🤘🏼

This was our second time to Atomic Cowboy, first at this location. We were staying a couple of days in the Colorado Springs area and loved the bacon, chicken, and buscuit sandwich with maple syrup, we promised to go back someday. It was as good as tge first time. This was the morning of Labor Day and there was a huge crowd out the door, but the line moved so fast, it wasn't even an issue. Our server, she was awesome, and, although very busy, always checked on us. The sandwich was ginormous and was way too good. We loved bite of it. The cold brew was ice cold in a glass and tasted like perfection. We have recommended this place to friends who were traveling to Denver and they had the same experience. I only wish it was closer to our place.

Sunday morning we had breakfast here before heading to Denver to catch our flight home. The breakfast was delicious! The service was pretty good considering it was right at opening time and getting pretty busy. The atmosphere was great, the Broncos game was on all tv screens. The restaurant was decorated for Halloween — it’s always nice to see restaurants in the holiday spirit! For our orders, I had the ‘Biscuits + Gravy’ and both my husband and daughter had ‘The Franklin’. I would definitely recommend this restaurant but make sure you come with your appetite!

We got a half roll, the Cubano, the Franklin, and a couple of triple run combos. The food was very yummy and the self serve coffee was a cool touch. The jams and butters were very good as well.

Hubby was in the mood for pizza and has been talking about Fat Sully’s pizza. We stopped by last night. Greeted and seated quickly by friendly host. The girl that waited on us was friendly and helpful. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and chose the pesto salad dressing. It was so so yummy!! The crispy onions, chicken, and croutons had tasty flavors and I loved the texture. The dressing was perfect! It was a lot of salad!! I sadly couldn’t eat it all but I got close. Hubby had his slice of cheese pizza. He ordered two but could only eat one. They are massive. He approved! He also ordered the salted caramel latte shake and it got a thumbs up. He is a man of few descriptive words.

A bit loud and disorganized when we walked in the door. Took a while for our server to get to our table. Glad we stayed as the food was good. Excellent burger. Wish they had more than one burger on the menu. Try the garlic knots. They're really good.

Was really impressed with the overall quality of this place and enjoyed that a self serve coffee bar was free to customers. Interesting menu, good biscuits, great flavor, well made beverages, crispy hash browns and decent sized portions! They do not have a parking lot, it is metered parking.

Hands down one of our favorite places while visiting CO Springs! Our server was absolutely amazing making food recommendations and taking time to chafe with some out of towners. The food was absolutely devine! If you go for sure order the biscuits as they were to die for! we sat on the rooftop and had a great view of pikes peak!

Best Western Plus Fillmore Inn & Suites

Hotel
The Best Western Plus Executive Residency Fillmore Inn is a laid-back 3-star hotel located near the Rock Ledge Historic Site in Colorado Springs. The hotel offers airy accommodations with amenities such as a bar, gym, indoor pool, and free breakfast. Guests can also enjoy dining at the award-winning 503W restaurant and bar, known for its contemporary American cuisine with Asian influences.
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was fantastic—spotlessly clean, smelled amazing, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. Even though the hotel is close to the highway, we barely heard any noise from outside, which made our stay even more relaxing. The free breakfast exceeded our expectations, and the dining area was clean and spacious. The location is also a big plus—conveniently close to everything in Colorado Springs. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit the area. We’d definitely stay here again!
Dhessa T — Google review
We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the Pizza restaurant in the lobby. The lasagna was homemade and delicious. The pizza and salad bar were also very good. Courtney and Katie (seen on two separate nights) were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our TWO evenings that we ate there. Thanks for an enjoyable experience.

If you are in Colorado Springs, don’t waste your time anywhere else. Trust me and come here. I have stayed here probably about 10 or more times now due to work. I originally was staying at another hotel closer to work, but came here once and never looked back. Absolutely all of the front desk staff are kind, courteous, and knowledgeable— especially the ladies in the evening. I have loved interacting with Q and Jojo, however I can say that about the other female evening front desk worker too but I don’t remember her name. I will say that the morning front desk staff can be hit or miss. Some of them are extremely nice. One of the girls can be a bit unfriendly at times, but I’m sure it’s a tough job, so I give her some grace. The hotel has amenities you can’t beat. They have a full service kitchen for room service or dining (Fillmore Pizza Kitchen). Because they have a full service kitchen, the complimentary breakfast features nice options like cinnamon rolls, omelets, or breakfast burritos that you wouldn’t ordinarily find in a regular continental breakfast. The hotel is nicely appointed with other amenities like on site laundry. The rooms are always very clean, and housekeeping staff will leave nice touches like pressing emblems into the toilet paper, or folding a design in the top tissue on the Kleenex box. It’s the little things that don’t go unnoticed. There is also a full service bar, and while I’ve never drank there, the male bartender (don’t remember his name) has delivered my room service before and he is very funny and very nice. This hotel has been a great home away from home. Props to everyone who works here.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, but I have to say for the price of this hotel is cheap for the quality of room quality of service here. Even the beds are amazing to sleep inn! the pillows are perfect. everything at this hotel even the staff is amazing as if your staying at high end hotels . I’ll give this place a 10 star review if I could, it is pet friendly the rooms are extremely clean. They have cappuccino and coffee machine for you at anytime for your convenience. Great breakfast as well, Pets are welcome and treated with kindness amazing place to stay thank you. Pool and hot tub is clean and well kept. I had a comfortable stay, thank you all the staff. This is a superior hotel! I would highly recommend staying here! The greeting at check in was a bit suspect because of JoJo. At first I thought it was me. I was tired from the long drive and a bit weary. The check in was smooth but JoJo was quite brisk and almost rude. I played it off. After being a rewards member for 13 years, this is not my first establishment. We found our room not just clean but clearly well planned for someone to be comfortable and have everything they need. The kitchenette was a special touch, complete with dishes, real silverware glasses and even pots and a couple of skillets for us to cook in during our stay. The breakfast was on point! Leslie was welcoming and a real joy to have as the breakfast server! She was friendly and spirited! In the evening they have a unique touch by serving hot food beyond your normal "happy hour" time. Everything from Nachos to Pizza and Wings! A full service bar topped everything off. Even though I don't drink alcohol, I was still quite impressed with the collection of spirits avaliable and a very knowledgeable bar tender who also served as the "cook". It was a perfect way to spend the evening. Almost like your own personal "Sports Bar!" All in all, this was one of the best experiences with Best Western I have ever had! With the exception of JoJo! As I mentioned in the beginning, my first experience with her was brisk. However, after multiple days, it was clear this is who she is: a dissatisfied rude employee! I have never been treated so rudely at a hotel EVER! I am not normally one to complain. But I felt it important to call her out by name this time! This hotel deserves a 5 star rating! From Danielle to Leslie and even my brief experience with Bailey, the employees are wonderful! They all make you feel like you are supposed to be there, comfortable and welcome. When JoJo "rolled her eyes at me" and refused to acknowledge me when I simply asked for directions to the ice machine on the first floor, only to snap at me with ambiguous "North, South" directions, I just walked away. As a business owner, I couldn't have an employee representing my company with that kind of behavior. As a rewards member, it's embarrassing to think this is what others see about my brand. As a guest... I simply was willing to end my stay. With all of that said, I can't deny the rest of the quality amenities and wonderful staff! And, with the exception of one, it is definitely the superior hotel to stay with if you travel to Colorado Springs!

This hotel is excellent. Room great and clean. Breakfast is great. Only downside was the reception and staff at the breakfast. Although very helpful, they did not smile or seemed very friendly. The breakfast had a line for the eggs, sausages, etc. and was dished up by a helpful lady, but you got the idea this is what you'll get. Do ask for seconds. I did not need seconds but it felt like it. The people serving at the bar/pizza kitchen and the maintenance guy was very friendly and helpful. They did a great job

First of all, Q is a breath of fresh air. She was the one to greet us and check us in. She was so kind, helpful and just a pleasure to work with. This hotel stay is the best hotel experience I have ever had. The hotel is clean, the staff are all so very kind and welcoming, the breakfast was great, the rooms are updated and nice. There is a bar (a nice quiet bar, not a rowdy crazy bar and great drink prices!) and pizza restaurant on premises and across the street is a gas station, yogurt place and taco place. Very convenient location. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! Very pleasantly surprised by our hotel experience here! Thank you Q, and all of the staff here!

Great location surrounded with so many places to shop, eat, and see. Fantastic fair price for the absolutely beautiful room/view of the mountains. 10 minutes away from garden of the gods and 20 minutes to Pikes Peak (if you haven't heard of either, make sure you look it up and go! Both were absolutely must sees) . Shout out to Jo Jo for being super welcoming/sweet and making check in super easy and fast! Breakfast was pretty good as well!

Vegan restaurant
Nestled in Colorado Springs, the Burrowing Owl stands out as one of the few fully vegan bars and restaurants in the area. The menu features a delectable array of vegan comfort food classics such as Sloppy Joes and Mac and Cheese, alongside soups, salads, sandwiches, and curries. The establishment prides itself on offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with knowledgeable and friendly staff.
This is a paradise for the vegans. Usually when we go to a touristy destination like Colorado, we try to explore different restaurants. But, we liked Burrowing Owl so much that we continued to visit here every night we stayed. Coming to food, we tried their nachos, Mac and Cheese, and spicy tacos and we loved it. They also have variety of draft beers and plenty of board games to play. I’d highly recommend to visit here if you are a vegetarian or vegan.
Shriraam M — Google review
While I'm not vegan, we gave the Burrowing Owl a shot on a recent visit from out of town vegans came for a visit. I was very impressed. We were greeted by a vintage scene that is tasteful and creative. Vintage beer signs cover the walls, not the bright neon but soft yellow lights. The menus are recycled album covers or magazines from years ago. The food offerings from Burrowing Owl are fitting to local "bar food" with keeping vegan and non-GMO. A wide choice of beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks are available as well. The food is fantastic, the staff are approachable and kind. I've been back every week and will continue to be a patron of this establishment. It's truly unique, and it's now one of my favorite finds in COS. If you are on the fence? Hop over and have a great time. Burrowing Owl is a great place to hang out and enjoy.

Fantastic!!! I wish we lived nearby so this could be our local bar/restaurant! Local dive bar vibes where staff knew the regular patrons. Service was great, super friendly staff. Everything we had was amazing, and they had a good local beer selection. Love the dedication to an all vegan menu! Super reasonable prices compared to similar vegan restaurants in Denver.
Bruce H — Google review
Amazing for vegans and non-vegans! Love the caesar salad, nachos, adult chocolate milk, and curry the most. Plus the cakes! Our server was also so nice.

As a family we enjoy making the Burrowing Owl a must when we're passing through! The staff is wonderful, acknowledging all our dietary needs. The food has always been amazing! Gluten-free and vegan has never tasted better. Thank you!
Jake — Google review
Visiting from Charlotte and we are vegans so was looking for all vegan restaurants near by, came across this and gave it a try. I have to say this didn’t meet our expectations. We ordered Caesar salads with soy curl, bacon season salad and spicy Mac, none of these tasted good. The salad had this weird taste and smell that I ended up leaving all soy curls aside. The Mac and cheese was the worst - so liquidy and spicy, I hated the bean part in it but that was my fault Cz I didn’t read the menu properly - spicy cheese have jalepeano chilli in it but anyways I can imagine even without chilli the Mac n cheese would have been so runny. The only one thing I really liked was the tomato soup. Having all that said this is just my opinion, my taste maybe different than yours. I’m always in support of vegan restaurants so even when i don’t like it, if i am dining there I’m supporting em. But as a reviewer I would always leave my honest opinion.

Terrific place to stop and grab some vegan bar food. Delicious change of pace. Friendly wait staff. Nice patio for us and the dogs made this stop very enjoyable.

We stopped at Burrowing Owl during a recent visit through Colorado Springs and loved it. I usually have a hard time finding good vegetarian or vegan options beyond the usual salad or pasta, but their menu is entirely plant-based and packed with variety. Our meals were delicious, and I even got to enjoy a non-dairy dessert. The atmosphere was fun, the staff were friendly, and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great vegetarian or vegan meal!

Nestled in the heart of Old Colorado City, Bon Ton's Cafe is a charming eatery that has been delighting breakfast lovers since 1951. This family-owned gem offers an inviting atmosphere where you can savor all-day breakfast and comforting lunch options infused with Southwestern flair. The menu boasts a delightful array of classic favorites like fluffy pancakes, hearty omelets, and unique creations such as the Good Morning Muffuletta and Eggs New Orleans.
Great experience here, food was delicious. Good selection as well. It's almost like a coffee shop. Using a newspaper as a menu is a pretty unique idea. I like it. It's not a ding on them, but they forgot to bring us silverware before our food came.. and when the guy said enjoy, I was like.. I guess I'll just put my head face first into the plate. It was more of a funny moment than anything. The place is awesome.

There's breakfast, and then there's Bon Ton's!! What a great find! Their Krabby Cake Benny is perfection with a delicious hollandaise!! The patio is spacious and comfortable with lots of beautiful flower pots and floral window boxes. However, their Bloody Mary was seriously lacking! Who ever saw a Bloody Mary that didn't come with any garnish?! Come on, throw in a pickle and a celery stick.

Delicious breakfast, huge patio area with loads of shade. Perfect and friendly service! Definitely will be coming back!

We were seated almost instantly but then waited 20 mins to get drink orders, waited another 15 to get those drinks. Watched as another group was sat down. Waited 20 mins to see them get served food before we got ours and an hour and a half later we finally got our food. $4 for coffee with refills but had to ask three times to get my refill. Weirdest dining experience I’ve ever had.
Gloria F — Google review
I always eat breakfast at Bon Ton’s when in town. Busy place but never had to wait. Staff is kind but busy, so just do your thing and smile cuz they will too. Food is straight up, not extra, but classic diner style. Beautiful space and a nice part of Colorado Ave. -don’t mess around or the no less than 30 cameras will catch you. Lol. Must have plenty of Tom foolery at night. Go! You’ll enjoy it.
Jim G — Google review
Bon Ton's is a long-time, local favorite, hence the 5 stars. However, post covid, it has started to slip a little in expectations...just little things, like, the food isn't super hot sometimes and the green chili is a bit too tangy, in my opinion. Still, it deserves 4 stars because: -The menu is huge -They offer some vegan and vegetarian options. -Tim is fantastic and hustles around! Seriously, there couldn't be a better waiter. -The atmosphere is fun. I love sitting outside, even on chilly days. I highly recommend the sweet potato and kale hash or a breakfast burrito smothered in green chili.

"Just had the most delightful breakfast experience! The food was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked and the portions were incredibly generous. But the real highlight was our server, Amanda. She was wonderfully attentive, friendly, and made our morning truly special. Highly recommend this place for a hearty and enjoyable breakfast!"

Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is a smaller airport compared to Denver (DEN) and it’s easy to fly into and out of this airport. The airport looks dated with the carpet yet somehow it feels comfy. TSA lines move quickly here and almost no line for pre-check during my experience. The rental counters are next to the baggage claim and the rental lots are organized by rental company. Overall, decent airport that’s easy to fly into and out.

This airport is clean, small and perfect for travel, better than the larger airports. Easier to navigate, and get in and out of quickly. I recommend using this airport iver Denver if posssible.possible. Hertz Rental was great too.

We made a reservation even though 5pm is a relatively safe bet for reasonable seating even on a friday night. However, we were celebrating so took the appropriate steps. Arrived on time. The 6 persons at the host stand were in a quandary when we arrived. While patiently waiting for our reserved table a trip to the rest room found it worse for wear and out of toilet paper...at the BEGINNING of a friday night. After 15 minutes we were shown to a cramped table between an exterior door and when we asked if there might be something more comfortable we were told those were reserved. By people like us....with reservations. Having eaten here before, we returned expecting good food and service. Left without eating. No one, not one at the overstaffed host desk, attempted to help.

My first time flying into the Springs and it was a good one. Friendly assistance, my luggage ready and wrapped (not to lose my Camino shoes off my pack) and clean. I only wish my Lyft driver had been a little closer, but we cannot ask for everything when arriving around midnight. Grateful to be celebrating my cadet’s graduation!

ROBERT ( — Google review
I love this airport. I live in Colorado Springs sometimes I consider going up to Denver to get cheaper airfare. Generally, most times that I do that I get stuck in traffic on Interstate 25. As a result, the airfare has to be two or $300 cheaper for me to drive up to Denver. The parking at the Colorado Springs airport is easy. Getting through security is also pretty easy. As of April 2024, there are renovations being performed. It has not affected the airport in a negative way other than construction areas and a little dust. If you are looking for vegan or vegetarian options, your best bet is the veggie burger at the Mountain Vista Grill and Bar. There variety of places to get drinks, souvenirs, and food. Just outside of security the Bristol Brewing Company has drinks and food. They are also strategically positioned right outside of security so if you’re waiting for somebody to arrive, it’s a perfect location. The coffee at Pikes Perk taste good straight black. I strongly recommend this airport.
