The food was absolutely delicious Ordered - : Classic chicken 10/10 Pasta 10/10 And cheese cream cake which was just okay Sharjah al majaz the only problem is AC .. it was very hot .. they should add some coolers also .. specially during summers But the rest all good.. Went here for brunch. This is probably the outlet with the best view while you are dining. There is indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas available. The food was amazing - we ordered the Brisket Eggs Benedict, Fish and Chips, American Breakfast, and the Banana Foster for dessert. Service was quick with servers being accommodating - asking us to reheat our coffee or bring additional ice cream when it melted on the banana foster. My only comment would be that they need to change their cutlery as the one they are using now is scratched up. Don't forget to use your Fazaa discount when you visit.

I do visit this place often - sometimes my experience is good, sometimes is not. It depends on how good we have been served. They serve really tasty desserts and burgers - these are you have to try for sure. About the interior - it is just perfect - one of my favorites so far. Unfortunately, the toilet is usually dirty - that is something you have to take care about. Overall, this place is nice. However, certain improvements have to be done.
Vicky B — Google review
Place is very nice, but service was very slow even though coffee shop was almost empty. With the restrictions in place drink was served in plastic cups. Very dirty outside seating area. Drinks were very tasty but I won’t go there again.
Hania D — Google review
We enjoyed the food. It was really tasty. However, prices are considerably high against the low quality service (though staff were professional, but the number of staff was very limited). Glass all over the place was dirty (see photos), ceiling has fungus in various places (I don't know how the Municipality did not close that place till date), cleaning tools kept in FOH area. Pros: - Nice decoration and seating area. - Friendly staff. - High quality food. - Wide variety of food. - They have 50% discount on certain items for Shakespeare loyal Customers. Cons: - Fungus are around the A/C outlets (see photos). This is a serious hygiene issue in a restaurant. - Although staff are professional, but their number is very limited and service was quite slow. - Toilets were not clean. - Glass windows were very dirty (see photos). - The menu is designed in a way that makes it a difficult task to link the photo with the dish description.

💟This is a Romantic branch for Shakespeare and Co.🌷 It is opposite to the lake fountain which is nice at night.⛲ This branch has an elevator and outside seating area. The food is delicious. The food is delicious. You can order main course, coffee, tea and dessert. But to you need to enter to Al Majaz paid parkings to reach to it.

Restaurant
Crisol Restaurant and Lounge in University City offers a unique American fusion dining experience, combining diverse ingredients to create one-of-a-kind dishes. The restaurant's ambiance is upscale and impressive, with dark wood accents and elegant lighting. Known for its continental breakfast options, including croissants, French toast, pancakes, waffles, cornflakes babka, and oatmeal. Additionally, it serves modernized Tex-Mex fast food and is a popular choice for breakfast in Sharjah.
. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, and the food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a memorable meal with friends, Crisol is a five-star choice in every way.

Celebrated pre valentines day last month with friends and totally enjoyed our time. Food were very well presented and tasted great. Ambiance inside the restaurant was also good (though a little dark as per one of my friend). Also, the staffs were very friendly and accommodating.
Jhanine S — Google review
Staff are very friendly. Service is great. BUT, food is less than alright, AND it is EXPENSIVE. I wasn’t happy with the fries that my friend and I ordered. I have asked the waiter if they were snap frozen and he said yes, which made the fries very soggy and moist to eat, however the spices and sauces were great. We also ordered Dynamite Chicken sliders, the chicken patty is so thin, you can barely taste any chicken in it, very poor quality. Presentations are great, but taste is missing. I have complained face to face to many of the staff in a very nice way without being mean because I am not like that, hoping for some action to be taken or at least for an apology for the horrendous food quality, but did not get any. Not worth the money you spend on food. But drinks are great :) I don’t recommend you wasting money on their food.
Reem A — Google review
Just a note to thank you and your staff for a very lovely evening – the food was exceptional and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was awesome, perfect soft music and I definitely liked that you have very modern style. Worth coming all the way from Dubai. We will make sure we come again!!!!!!!!

Crisol is a cozy restaurant, quite nice to have lunch with your family, enjoyed my time there you can select a different variety of food salads, appetisers, meals & deserts loved the melted chocolate over the ice cream cake, kids will love the mini burgers, the food tastes really good. Visited the place another time this time git the Vegas burger 🍔 its delicious, have you ever Tried the spicy corn sticks, it's amazing however we ordered it not spicy and sweet potato fries
Fady E — Google review
Very good quality and service. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere to it. Prices were on the expensive side though. The variety of options is good, however, I feel that there is room for more. Generally, good experience, had a good time there.
Ahmad A — Google review
Impressed by the place as a whole. I'm a fan of the interior. I tried 2 burgers and they were enough to make me curious to try their other dishes as well. The black gold burger would be perfect in my books if it weren't for the small size. I understand its wagyu beef, but I would've made it bigger than the other burgers to persuade customers to go for the more expensive option. It was really good. I haven't described a food as "powerful" before but this one was. I tried another burger because I didn't feel full and didn't want to pay 38 dhs for fries, so I paid 47 for their tornado burger, which was also great but naturally not as delicious as the black gold. I wanted to give the restaurant 4 stars because I wanted them to consider either lowering the price of the black gold burger or making it larger, but I liked the fact the restaurant gave options at different prices (there's a 3rd burger priced at around 37 dhs). I do hope they consider modifying this burger though, without changing the taste or ingredients. I'll probably try steak another time or perhaps some other best-selling dish here. Staff are nice, too. Wagyu eggs Benedict was alright 🤷‍♂️ not too good, not too bad... Didn't really taste the beef that well, and it was relatively small in size. Tried their fried chicken burger. It was surprisingly good, thought I'd like it a bit less oily. Tried their ribeye steak, didn't like it that much. It's acceptable but definitely not worth 135 dhs. Didn't like the chimichurri sauce it came with either. If you decide to get a ribeye steak, make sure to ask for it without this sauce. Instagram: @HouseoFlavour (House o' Flavour)

Fen Café & Restaurant - Al Mureijah

Mentioned on
4 lists
Restaurant
Fen Café & Restaurant - Al Mureijah is a popular spot with a serene setting near the Sharjah Art Foundation, attracting both art enthusiasts and food lovers. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from chia pots and kale salads to ube lattes, giving it a trendy vibe. The entrees are particularly noteworthy, featuring locally sourced seafood and parmesan-truffle fries.
We had such a great time at FEN Café! The atmosphere is really cozy and welcoming, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Right now, they have a special mango-themed menu, and it’s fantastic! The mango cheesecake, turmeric & ginger tea, and mango milkshake were all amazing — so fresh and full of flavor. The prices are very reasonable, and the location is great too. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice spot to relax and enjoy great food and drinks. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is tucked away in the between traditional buildings giving you a sense of escaping the city. The food is wonderfully rich and properly portioned, excellent value for the price. Add to that outstanding service and you have yourself a winning formula!
Amr K — Google review
Double feelings about this cafe. Nice territory, beautiful cats, good staff, good service. But terrible food and drinks. Both cakes were old and not tasty. Matcha latte tastes like grass juice. Spanish latte just fully sugar. To come here need go far away, cross security post. Honestly don’t worst time and money.
Anna A — Google review
Place has an old world charm, looks rustic but modern decor. They have their own take on food preparation. It may appeal to many but some would be left dissatisfied. Place is worth visiting. I would definitely return again though our friend would not want to.

2nd time at fen cafe and once again it didn’t disappoint. Hosted by Shienre Tanzo and he was very patient an amazing host. I recommend this place and don’t forget to order the passion fruit mojito it’s the best
Abizer B — Google review
A great restaurant tucked away in the Al Mureijah area of downtown Sharjah, close to art galleries and the souq. The menu is well-varied, offering options from many different cuisines at a relatively affordable price for the quality and quantity. We started with the Nicoise Salad (37 AED) and Vietnamese Spring Rolls (35 AED), both of which tasted fresh and delicious. The Fish & Chips (55 AED) had a crispy yet not oily battered fish with seasoned fries and a delicious tartar sauce. The Sri Lankan Fried Aubergine Curry (35 AED) and the Chicken Katsu Curry (48 AED) were my favorite dishes- both very delicious and super flavorful. Overall, a wonderful experience and will definitely be my go-to when in the area.

Casa Samak is a sophisticated restaurant located within the Coral Beach Resort in Sharjah, offering a serene and romantic dining experience by the tranquil beach. The enchanting views of the Arabian Gulf complement the exotic seafood cuisines, creating an ideal ambiance for a special evening. With its focus on cooked to perfection seafood and a range of appetizers, Casa Samak is a top choice for those seeking a fancy yet relaxing dining experience.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Casa Samak yesterday afternoon with my Husband. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, full of rich flavors that truly impressed us. The service was exceptional as well as friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The beautiful atmosphere added to the experience, making it the best spot for seafood lovers. Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!
Dunya S — Google review
Went to try their seafood cuisine. Got to know they have got an award for the best seafood around. Though a bit sceptical at first, when the food arrived it must be true as the food was very delicious and cooked to perfection. Not much on the presentation side but can tell the seafood was fresh. Ambience was quiet and overlooking the beach. Peaceful. Had a fish shack feeling. They accepted zomato pro discount so it was worth it as it wasn't costly as I thought it would be. Staff was very polite and professional.
Vijoy V — Google review
The seafood here is absolutely delightful. Having dined at numerous places across several continents, I can confidently say this beach restaurant surpasses all others I’ve visited. From selecting fresh fish at the counter from an impressive variety, to the impeccable service, every detail of the experience was flawless. The expertly prepared dishes were simply delicious, and the cherry on top was savoring it all while watching the sun dip below the horizon. An unforgettable experience!
Frédéric D — Google review
Casa Samak offers a delightful dining experience with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf. The restaurant specializes in fresh seafood with a Middle Eastern twist, showcasing both quality ingredients and creative presentation. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. Service is attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. While prices are on the higher side, the setting and culinary craftsmanship make it worthwhile. A must-visit for seafood lovers in Sharjah.
Chao W — Google review
We had high hopes for this seafood restaurant, but it was a complete letdown. We ordered the seafood platter with extra crispy calamari, only to be served rubbery, hard-to-chew pieces. The prawns were overwhelmed with cumin, making them inedible, and the mussels had an off-putting taste. The fish was raw in the middle while somehow crispy on the sides—a clear sign of poor cooking. The chowder looked nothing like the menu photo and tasted like straight-up cream. Honestly, everything was bad, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Sara M — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish was well-prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had a comfortable experience. Great service and great taste – highly recommended!
Manzu W — Google review
Recommended seafood restaurant ...perfect location and joyful atmosphere. High level of hospitality...specially Sofian, who helped us in selecting best fresh options.
Wael S — Google review
Casa Samak truly exceeded my expectations! After Iftekhar recommended it to me, I decided to give it a second chance, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, from the chef to the manager. The food was simply outstanding - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was evident that they take great pride in sourcing the freshest seafood. Thanks to Iftekhar's recommendation, Casa Samak has become my go-to seafood destination in the UAE. I can't wait to go back for more!

Kamat Vegetarian on King Faisal Street is a true haven for vegetarians, offering an impressive array of dishes that celebrate the rich culinary traditions of both India and China. This pure-vegetarian restaurant in Sharjah boasts a diverse menu filled with North Indian, South Indian, chaat, Jain cuisine, fusion options, and Chinese specialties—all crafted with the perfect blend of spices to tantalize your taste buds.
Good place for Vegetarian it is family restaurant good menu and all food was served hot and on time. Also Kunafa Cake was good. My family like it so much. Thanks a lot to all the team members at restaurant.
Nilesh D — Google review
Not very impressed. Taste is good for some dishes, average for others. What made me to deduct one star is the pricing. Its high as compared to other similar restaurants. Hospitality is good. We didn't like taste and presentation of one dish, they immediately replaced it with other without any charges. Quantity is just sufficient for two. Parking outside is little difficult as there is limited space and its occupied during peak hours. You will have to search at a road behind the restaurant.
Saurabh T — Google review
I ordered dry manchurian and they r sending like this, balls are full covered with garlic and I told i don't need like this. But they are becoming very rude day by day and moreover sharjah branch cashier, chef, and manager as well all are not ready to adjust little bit according to customer. My advice to owner look into the matter or else close it plz. Or better chef, manager and cashier must try this bunch of garlics. Dry manchurian giving is very easy by giving the balls only as per my ask but they instead of satisfying customer they like to arguing and debate forever. And when I threat about review and email even they don't care, they said go ahead. This is kind of nonsense.
Parveen P — Google review
Most dishes tasted the same. can't eat enough due to the excess use of oil and probably too much baking soda/powder. Bad food overall. Only thing good is the water they gave. Try this restaurant if you want a bloated stomach + couple hundred dirhams less on your wallet

Good vegetarian options. Had a delightful experience at Kamath Vegetarian Restaurant on Al Wahda Road, Sharjah. Vegetarian with a style but not as expected. Was served used pickle tray, spoon looked used by previous customer, promptly replaced. Looks clean up to table top, however under the table cleanness lacking, mess from previous customers. Desert spoon given 1x Dry 1x wet disappointment with careless. Masala tea, classic milk tea served without saucers same with gajar Halwa. Struggled to enjoy, left dish unfinished. Needs attention with presentation too. Taste was not as expected, less than half drunk, for desert and tea, we had to wait over 20 minutes. Waited patiently, nearly asked for the bill last minute we were served. Very disappointed.

Nestled in the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, Arabian Tea House Restaurant & Cafe - Sharjah is a renowned spot offering an authentic Emirati dining experience since 1997. The restaurant's vibrant interior design and traditional Arabic drinks provide a unique ambiance, complemented by picturesque views of historical and modern buildings. A wonderful dining experience at Arabian Tea House in Sharjah! The place is beautifully clean and welcoming, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The food was fresh and refreshing, and the tea was lovely—perfectly brewed and comforting. We also appreciate that the toilet was clean and well-maintained, which shows the care they put into the whole experience. We liked it a lot and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic flavors and great service in a relaxing setting.

Arabian Tea House in Sharjah offers a truly charming escape into Emirati culture and hospitality. The moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a serene courtyard filled with white-and-blue décor, rustic benches, and a calming atmosphere that instantly transports you to old Arabia. It’s a perfect spot for breakfast, brunch, or a relaxing evening tea. The menu beautifully captures traditional Emirati and Middle Eastern flavors. Their Regag bread, balaleet, and chicken biryani are deliciously authentic, while the mint lemonade and karak tea are absolute must-tries. Everything is served fresh, with attention to detail and warm service that makes you feel at home. What stands out most is the ambiance—peaceful, airy, and photogenic, with touches of heritage everywhere. Whether you’re sitting under the shaded courtyard or inside the cozy indoor area, the vibe is tranquil and inviting. It’s also a great place for families and tourists who want to experience the traditional side of the UAE away from the city rush. Overall, Arabian Tea House in Sharjah perfectly combines culture, comfort, and cuisine. A delightful blend of authentic taste and nostalgic charm — definitely worth visiting for anyone who appreciates Emirati hospitality and a peaceful dining experience.

Friendly and helpful staff. Amashi our waitress was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. And always smiling. Food was great especially the lamb and the dessert (fried donut wasn't sweet as expected, just nice). The chai was so good.
Barbara D — Google review
We had breakfast at Arabian Tea House and absolutely loved it! The breakfast options are excellent — with plenty of delicious vegetarian choices. Both the Emirati Special Breakfast Tray and the Egyptian Breakfast Tray are mostly vegetarian (apart from the eggs in the Egyptian one), which was a pleasant surprise. The food quality and flavors were excellent, and the customer service was equally impressive — every staff member greeted us with a smile and was courteous throughout. The ambience is beautiful, with the white-and-blue decor creating a bright, cool, and relaxing atmosphere that perfectly complements a morning meal. If there’s one small suggestion for improvement, it would be the round tables, which felt a little cramped when serving the large breakfast trays. A rectangular or square table design might make the dining experience more comfortable. There is restaurant parking available behind the Souq, which we didn’t know before hand. So, please check with restaurant while coming. Overall, an outstanding breakfast spot that combines authentic Emirati charm, great service, and wonderful food. Highly recommended! 🌿☕🍽️

Black Salt Restaurant in Sharjah offers a delightful brunch experience with a focus on contemporary international cuisine, particularly seafood. The menu includes classic breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, and an array of seafood dishes like sushi rolls and fish tacos. Located in the Muweilah district, the restaurant serves pasta, pizzas, burgers, Turkish kebabs, and delectable desserts. It provides a satisfying dining experience that caters to various tastes without breaking the bank.
I had a great dining experience here. The meals were served thoughtfully and the place itself was cozy and quaint. Each meal was delightful to the palate, from salads to soups, pastas, even their sliders are tasty. We were a group of four and we were able to share each meal, as the proportion was quite generous, so it was definitely worth your money. We were served by Kevin, she was really attentive to our request and professional. She has a lot of knowledge with the offerings and was pleasant to deal with.

I recently dined at Black Salt in Sharjah, and it was a delightful experience overall—elegantly designed, family-friendly, and staffed by exceptionally warm and helpful employees. The ambiance is very beautiful, with plush seating making it a perfect spot for relaxed gatherings . The food quality is undoubtedly good, with highlights like butter chicken pizza and creative all-day dishes earning praise . However, the menu feels somewhat limited for a restaurant that positions itself as international, and the prices are a bit steep, which might not suit every budget . Still, the exceptional staff and family-oriented atmosphere make the experience worthwhile—highly recommended if you’re seeking both style and substance.
Ahmed A — Google review
A nicely decorated restaurant that offers many local dishes, but also has many exotic options on the menu. I tried some Asian dishes here - Tom Yum Soup, Tokyo' Wings and Mango Matcha, plus a mushroom and egg croissant, for a total of 161 AED. Overall, while the Asian dishes did have a bit of an Asian feel to them in terms of flavor, it wasn't enough. Tom Yum Soup taste like Tom Yum which you can eat in.Thailand, but it is too salty and lacks sourness and spiciness. Tokyo's wings were made with sweet soy sauce (Japanese soy sauce) and served with Japanese seaweed, which was good but not perfect. In comparison, the mushroom egg croissant can be said to be excellent and is worth a try. The matcha mango was also delicious but difficult to sip through a straw. All in all, I think this restaurant is worth a try if you live or work nearby, but not worth a special trip.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Black Salt, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself is incredibly beautiful, with a decor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal, whether you're out for a special occasion or just a casual night out. We started our meal with the house Caesar, which was fresh and flavorful, setting the tone for what was to come. The seafood saffron risotto was a standout dish, rich and creamy with a perfect blend of seafood and saffron that made every bite delightful. We also tried the skinny fries, which were crisp and well-seasoned, a perfect side to our main dishes. For drinks, we opted for the V60 (Colombian), which was brewed to perfection, offering a smooth and rich coffee experience. To finish off our meal, we had the deconstructed vanilla milk cake, a creative and delicious dessert that was a wonderful end to a fantastic meal. Despite the top-notch food and enjoyable atmosphere, the restaurant was surprisingly empty. I hope that more people discover Black Salt soon, as it truly deserves to be bustling with diners eager to enjoy their spectacular food and beverages. This hidden gem is well worth a visit! We also purchases a few Cold Brews; Hibiscus and The Regular to go!

The prices at the restaurant were reasonable, and I appreciated the good value that represented. Overall, I highly recommend Black Salt to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience, and I look forward to visiting again soon!

Momo House is a cozy and vibrant restaurant that specializes in momos, a type of dumpling popular in Nepal, Tibet, and parts of India. In addition to serving noodles and rice dishes, the restaurant offers a variety of traditional momos with fiery dipping sauces. It's known for its delicious Indo-Chinese, Indian, and Nepalese cuisine at affordable prices. The menu features an array of flavorful momos such as buff momo and Nepali fried momo.
One of the best nepali restaurants in the UAE absolutely amazing in customer service and Quality. Friendly staff only issue is parking nearby. Highly recommend it to anyone. Personally I love the buffalo chilli momos

One of the best places in sharjah for best momo! Been regular here since 2 years, the food quality is amazing and delicious. We travel from Dubai to eat momo here! The soups are delicious! It's a must try hidden gem if u miss momo or regular street foods. Here's your place!

The staff here are absolutely amazing, and the place has such a cozy vibe! I’m a huge fan of Momo House – every recipe is delicious, and the team is always so kind and welcoming. I love both the veg and chicken momos, whether steamed or fried – all are super tasty, especially with the spicy sauce (my husband’s favorite!). The wontons and spring rolls are also fantastic. Highly recommend!

🌟 Amazing Experience at Momo House, Buteena! 🌟 If you’re a fan of flavorful, comforting, and perfectly spiced food, Momo House in Buteena is a must-visit! From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed with a steaming hot complimentary soup, setting the tone for an incredible dining experience. Their fried rice is simply outstanding—packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and pairs wonderfully with their chicken Manchurian, which is saucy, spicy, and absolutely delicious. But the real stars? The momos! Whether you go for the classic steamed version or the fiery chilli momos, each bite is bursting with authentic taste. And don’t even get me started on their red chutney—it’s next-level delicious, adding just the right kick to every bite. Momo House truly knows how to serve up amazing food with great hospitality. If you’re in Buteena and craving some seriously good Asian flavors, this is the place to be.

I recently visited Momo House Restaurant and had a great overall experience. As a nice touch, they served complimentary soup as a starter, which was warm and flavorful—a comforting way to begin the meal. The restaurant is clean and decently maintained, with a spacious seating area, including an upstairs section that adds more room and comfort. I ordered fried momo, chili momo, and chicken chowmein. The momos were excellent—crispy, well-seasoned, and served with delicious sauces. The chicken chowmein was okay, but I’d recommend they consider using a different type of noodle to improve the texture and flavor. The menu could use an upgrade, especially with combo offers like a platter featuring different types of momos. The selection of cool drinks and juices was limited, so expanding that would definitely enhance the dining experience. One thing to note is the location—it’s a bit hidden away, and parking can be difficult to find. Overall, Momo House is a good and clean restaurant with tasty momo options and a welcoming atmosphere. With a few improvements to the menu and accessibility, it has strong potential to become a local favorite.

My family’s all time favorite is their juicy kothey momos.once in every month we order them. They are delicious and melt in mouth with authentic flavors .

A Delightful Dining Experience at Momo House We had an amazing experience in this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—easily the best we've ever had. Each dish was full of flavor and prepared with great care. The prices were very reasonable, which made the experience even better. It's an ideal place for family gatherings, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The customer service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. The only challenge we faced was finding the exact location. The roads nearby were covered with sand, which made parking and reversing a bit difficult. We recommend placing a signboard at the beginning of the junction to help first-time visitors locate the restaurant more easily. Overall, everything else was truly excellent. Highly recommended!

Restaurant
Nestled in a residential area near University City, Paper Fig is a charming eatery founded by the dynamic husband-and-wife team Nawal Alnuaimi and Ahmed Almazrouei. This cozy spot has gained popularity for its inviting atmosphere, delectable breakfast options like shakshuka, and mouthwatering desserts. The menu also features savory dishes such as burgers and roasted baby chicken.
My office recently held a small reception, and we chose Paper Fig for catering. I have to say, they did an amazing job! Everything was so well organized and beautifully designed. I really loved how they arranged the dishes, and the food presentation was so creative. And the taste? It was absolutely delicious! 😋 The food decorations were so creative, with different shapes, and they were actually edible! One of the designs even looked like a potted plant 🪴—it was not only beautiful but also super delicious 😋 If I ever have a party or any kind of event in the future, I will definitely reach out to them for catering. Highly recommend!

Had the most amazing food at Paper Fig. The Pink Risotto was to die for and the Frech Toast was pure heaven. Service was amazing too. Kim took care of us and was especially kind. Would definitely be back for more and we can't wait.

Woke up and decided to get some breakfast and Paper Fig popped up on Google so decided to give it a try. Paper Fig is very quaint and perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Menu options are limited but food is good. Since it was morning and I was in the mood for something savoury , I had the eggs Benedict, it was good but nothing out of this world. What really got me was their French toast. I don’t think I’ve ever had something as divine as the French toast from Paper Fig; it was more dessert than breakfast but it was extremely light and the topping complimented it perfectly. I can almost taste it as I describe it. The pastry served with the Spanish Latte was also lovely. Everything tasted like a little piece of home and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed their sweet treats and really cannot wait to go back.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and my experience was mixed. While the food was decent, it didn't quite measure up to the price we paid. The ambience, however, was really pleasant and set a nice mood. Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. One of the waiters who served us was friendly and attentive, but the other seemed very rude and made us feel unwelcome.

Indian restaurant
Calicut Notebook Restaurant, established in 2012, offers a diverse menu featuring Kerala meals and international cuisines such as French, Arabic, Japanese, and Thai. With four locations across the UAE and India, this restaurant is known for its fusion of South Indian flavors with global influences. Signature dishes like pandanas chicken and bamboo biriyani are popular among customers. The restaurant prides itself on providing top-quality dishes and excellent customer service.
I recently visited Calicut Notebook and got takeout, and it was a great experience! The dynamite chicken was amazing—crispy, perfectly spiced, and coated in a rich, creamy sauce that had just the right kick. The portion was generous, and everything was packed well. The service was quick and friendly, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful food, this café is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend Calicut Notebook and will definitely order again!

The restaurant has excellent food, great hospitality, and very good customer service. However, the washing area was untidy and had an unpleasant smell. I hope the management takes action to improve this, as cleanliness there is very important. Once improved, this place will be perfect!
Nazir I — Google review
Tried the biriyani here, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The rice quality could be better, and the masala was a bit bland. I was expecting a more authentic Calicut-style biriyani, but it just didn’t deliver on flavor. Hopefully, they can improve on that!. Felt a bit overpriced for what it was.

Absolutely Impressed !! Recently we availed their catering services for a private home function and got in touch with Akhil who ensured that the entire experience was top notch. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests even complemented the food the next day. They made sure everything required for the dining experience was taken care of ! Thank you Notebook for the fine catering experience !

The quality of the food has been going down day by day, and this year’s Onam Sadhya was a complete disappointment. The food was poorly cooked and tasted terrible. On top of that, the pricing is extremely overpriced for what they are serving. Instead of focusing on attractive packing, I wish the management would concentrate on delivering good quality and tasty food. The Palada and Parippu Pradhaman they introduced this year are the worst I’ve ever had — I honestly couldn’t figure out whether to call it payasam or kanji.

Sharjah International Airport

International airport
Airport
Sharjah International Airport is a major hub for flights to Middle Eastern and Asian destinations, with extensive cargo facilities. The airport offers convenient car rental services, allowing travelers to easily explore the UAE upon arrival. It has evolved significantly since its early days, offering ample seating areas, duty-free shopping, dining options, free Wi-Fi, and other amenities such as kids' areas and prayer rooms. While it is well-maintained and clean, some areas like drop-off points can get busy at times.
Sharjah International Airport is an excellent gateway to the UAE and a great choice for travelers looking for a smooth and well-organized journey. The airport is known for its efficiency, cleanliness, and well-planned layout, making it easy to navigate for passengers of all ages. Check-in counters, immigration, and security areas are clearly marked and operate quickly, helping reduce waiting times even during busy hours. The terminal is bright, modern, and comfortable, with plenty of seating and essential amenities conveniently located. Restrooms, prayer rooms, and family facilities are well-maintained, reflecting the airport’s focus on passenger comfort. Duty-free shops, cafés, and restaurants offer a good selection of food and shopping options for travelers in transit. Sharjah International Airport is also appreciated for its friendly and professional staff, who ensure smooth passenger flow and excellent customer service. Its location makes it an ideal hub for flights across the Middle East, Asia, and beyond. Overall, this airport delivers a reliable, stress-free travel experience and stands out as one of the best-managed airports in the region.
Saddam H — Google review
Sharjah International Airport is a small but very convenient airport. The best thing I liked is that it’s not overcrowded like DXB, so the entire process from check-in to immigration feels faster and stress-free. Navigation is simple and everything is close by, which saves a lot of time, especially if you’re travelling with luggage or family. The staff are polite and helpful, and the airport is clean and well maintained. Seating areas are comfortable and you can easily find a place to sit and relax. Food options are not too many, but whatever is available is decent enough for a quick meal or snack. Wi-Fi works fine and the washrooms are also kept tidy most of the time. The only downside is that duty-free and shopping options are limited compared to Dubai Airport, so if you’re expecting a big variety, you might feel it’s a bit basic. But on the positive side, that also means less crowd and faster movement through the terminal. Overall, a smooth experience and a good airport for hassle-free travel. If you prefer peace, quick entry/exit, and easy navigation instead of huge terminals and long walking distances, Sharjah Airport is definitely a great choice.

Sharjah International Airport is a convenient and modern airport with a good range of amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the airport is clean and well-maintained. The airport's location makes it a great option for those traveling to or from the surrounding areas. However, compared to some other airports in the region, the shopping and dining options are somewhat limited. Overall, a solid airport experience. Would recommend for those who need a hassle-free and efficient travel experience.
Asiya M — Google review
I stayed at airport for one hour during my short halt for India Flight. Airport is very clean and you will find board at everywhere for easy navigation. It is not that big airport so you will not find more difficulty to navigate through. Also airport staff are very helpful and responsive for any of your queries. You can also buy some gifts for family at Airport but price are very expensive compared to city price.

Update (Sept 2025): A very different—and very positive—second visit. Changing the rating to 5 star I came back to Sharjah Airport with time to actually walk around, and I need to give credit where it’s due. The place is immaculate. Floors shine, bins aren’t overflowing, and the washrooms are spotless and genuinely luxurious—easily on par with big international hubs. Big kudos to the housekeeping team; you can tell they’re on it. Inside, the experience felt organized and calm. Clear signs for A/B/C/D, plenty of seating, and staff who actually guide you instead of just pointing. There are cafés, shops, and restaurants open late, plus a medical center and a special-services desk—so everything you need is under one roof. Outside, the forecourt is well lit and tidy. Getting to Departures is straightforward (stairs/elevator), and the parking is close and easy to navigate. I didn’t notice the smoke issue from my first visit, and pedestrian flow felt better managed. Overall, I’m happy to revise my earlier opinion. Sharjah Airport is clean, efficient, and comfortable—a solid, stress-free alternative to DXB. Hats off to the whole Sharjah Airport staff Photos attached as a mini-guide: • Exterior forecourt at night (well lit, organized lanes) • Stairs/elevator up to Departures • Wide, bright corridors and clean finishes • High, airy ceilings in the main hall • Self-service kiosks for quick bag-tag printing • Clearly marked check-in zones and services counters ———————————- Old review : My recent experience at Sharjah Airport was disappointing. The arrival area felt overcrowded and poorly organized, more like a bus station than an international airport. There was very little enforcement of rules—smokers were puffing everywhere, creating an unpleasant environment. Facilities seemed lacking; I couldn’t find any visible washrooms. Traffic safety was another concern, as drivers rarely stopped for pedestrians, even at marked crossings. The only positives: the process was quick for my wife’s arrival compared to Dubai International Airport, and parking fees are slightly cheaper (AED 27 for 2 hours vs. ~AED 30 in Dubai). Overall, Sharjah Airport has a long way to go to meet basic comfort, safety, and service standards.

Airport is amazing service is amazing also other facilities but coming to the part of Air India Express like waste flight are postponed to after 13 hours and making problem for Transist passengers should take action for the company. The manager is saying there are postponed because of winter season. No one flight having these issues and just 1 week before they came to know winter comes so we are changing to after 13 hours. I am asking why they want to run for winter season be in aviation home take a vacation from them.. so at least passengers get good flight without making any issues..

Sharjah International Airport is located in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. It is one of the busiest airports in the country and an important transportation hub in the Middle East. Opened in 1977, the airport operates numerous international and domestic flights every day. Sharjah Airport is especially known as the main base of Air Arabia. With modern facilities, an advanced cargo terminal, and high-quality passenger services, it has become popular among travelers and businesses around the world.
Urban E — Google review
The airport is very small and unorganised. At the same time it’s very busy, however the facilities and resources are very limited. I arrived at 8 am from my flight and passengers are not familiar with smart gates or the immigration office process. Airport could facilitate any mean of communication in the entrance to the arrival area. Unfortunately today I didn’t witness it. It’s very inconvenient for all, passengers and staff that are working here. I could see that airport is under construction but for this purpose airport management could facilitate any other mean of efficient and smooth work.

Dubai International Airport is truly world-class! From the moment you land, everything feels smooth and well-organized. Immigration was seamless, with smart gates making the process fast and stress-free. If you’re looking for a free SIM card, you can get one at the immigration office booth — or if you’re in a rush, just head straight through the smart gate and be on your way. The airport itself is spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely clean. Staff are helpful and always ready to guide you in the right direction, which makes the whole journey very convenient. No need to worry about booking a taxi in advance — there are plenty of taxis waiting in line outside, and all run on affordable meter rates. The whole experience is efficient, comfortable, and welcoming. A perfect start to any trip to Dubai!

The airport is very good, it is managed very well. But compared to other terminals it doesn't have access to metro station. You can access by bus or taxi. This terminal is very small, you can find grocery stores and cafe in this place. The exchange and car rental also there, but the rate is higher than the city.

Dubai International Airport is easily one of the nicest airports I’ve been through. Everything feels modern, clean, and well-organized. Security and check-in were quick, and there are endless food and shopping options while you wait. The staff were helpful and the signage made it simple to get around. I actually enjoyed spending time here before my flight, which says a lot for an airport. Highly recommended for anyone traveling through Dubai! ✈️

DXB is always buzzing, no matter the time of day. Connections are smooth and straightforward, with plenty of signs and staff to help. The facilities are excellent, with a wide range of shops, dining options, and things to do while in transit. Having travelled through DXB over the past 15 years, it’s consistently been a great experience every time.
Hendy O — Google review
Dubai International Airport offers a modern and spacious environment with efficient security, great WiFi, and generally helpful staff, making it a top choice for travelers, though some have noted passport control issues and occasional long queues. Facilities and Comfort The airport features clean terminals, excellent shopping, and comfortable seating areas. Free WiFi with good connectivity. Many restaurants and reasonably priced food options. Vast shopping mall experience with luxury brands. Staff and Service Employees are often described as helpful and polite, ensuring a smooth transit process. Some travelers praised fast entry and baggage processes. However, isolated cases reported unfriendly behavior at security and delays in special services like wheelchair assistance. Efficiency and Experience Efficient security and check-in procedures, especially with electronic gates. Some terminals (especially Terminal 1) experience longer walking distances and slow passport control. Overall Verdict Dubai Airport is recommended for its modern facilities, cleanliness, great shopping, and friendly staff, but patience may be required during peak hours at immigration.
Jo L — Google review
A marvel of engineering, operational excellence and customer experience obsession, whatever you will need, they have thought about it and made sure you have it there, I’m quite proud of what they do in this amazing airport. The number of people pass through this aviation hub is beyond imagination yet everyone go through it very smoothly. You will be able to shop, rest, eat and do much more all in one place, with great variety of options and suits all budgets and with excellence deviled every single time and that’s what stand out the most at DXB it’s consistency.
