Säntispark Bäderwelt is a versatile indoor sports and leisure park located just 15 minutes away from St. Gallen. It offers a wide range of activities including water fun, wellness, fitness, sports, and games. The complex features an 18-hole indoor Mini-Golf course, Badminton, Squash and Tennis courts, Bowling alleys, Table-Tennis, Darts, Billiards and more.
We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (age 8 and 12). Went on a Sunday and had a great time. Saw lots of cleaning staff keeping the changing area dry and clean. Saw many staff keeping the slide and swimming areas safe and reduced of mischief. The place was not that full and most people were polite and respectful. Only encountered one group of people who tried to cut the line or pushed ahead. Everything was well laid out. Many things to do, so four hours is a must if it's your first time. P.S. The inner tubes for the slides are on the bottom floor, so you will need to pick up one before you head to the inner tube slides at the top. Our favourites were the Säntis-Pipe, Wirbel Wind, Wilbach and racing each other on the Super-G. None of us dared to do the Sturzflug.

Loved the place. It was ideal for my 2,5 years old son. The food options were not good but the place was clean. As every toddler he fell and was crying and immediately had someone helping checking his knee and providing ice cubes to calm him. Maybe everyone is on vacation but it was not too crowded. I would come back anytime.
Mauro L — Google review
A really cool place to bring your family to and spend a few hours sliding and swimming. The slides are great, the children area is big, everything is clean, lots of swim guards are keeping their eyes on the visitors and you have a pretty decent restaurant with a nice choice of food. Definitely worth a visit!

Very nice acquapark and spa. Very new and clean. Slides for different age group, wave pool, bubble, indoor and outdoor pool. Wonderful place for family.
Kominna S — Google review
Positive surprise Here my review: Appearance: First off, I love how this water park is attached to a shopping mall. You stroll around the shops and suddenly you see water slides behind large windows. The interior of the water park is very modern and stylish with a nice ambiance. The main water slide hub is very well designed with cool light effects. Pricing: The admission fee is a bit high (as usual for switzerland) and the spa (saunas etc) cost extra. Also note: before buying a 2h pass, they open at 9am but the water slide hub opens at 11am. The changing rooms: Pretty clean and spacy, lockers are free and the showers are great (even got a row of private showers) Pools: There is a large wave pool, with nice rockwork around it. The waves are turned on pretty often. There is a large salt water pool with an indoor and outdoor section with massage jets. Ideal to chill, even with aqua-gym sessions. Then there is another, larger, outdoor pool with massage jets and a current going around. No pool was crowded or dirty. There are also 2 cool hidden whirlpools behind the wave pool. Restauration: There was sadly no pool bar but they had a automatic snack bar and a small pool restaurant. Rather mid. There were some picnic spots scattered around. Those picnic spots near the water slide hub looked more like storage rooms though. Water slides: The slides are pretty interesting. The immediate eyecatcher is the wild river canyon slide you see on your left when entering. Pretty fun slide with a faster second half. The first floor in the slide hub only has body slides. There are 2 thrilling turbo slides: a trapdoor slide (pretty fun) and a fast spiraling slide with strong Gs. The most fun slide is the Wirbelwind (it has a large bowl and a pitch black half pipe element). The other 2 slides are also fun with good light effects The second floor has all the raft slides. The super G double slide was fun but coild use a bit more speed. The best one of course the Säntispipe, it features a cool quarterpipe element. The Gewitter slide was a bit mid (you're rather slow when sliding alone) but has a cool drop at the end. The Ice Kanal was fun, long and made you spin. The Wildbach is cool with an unexpected uphill part. Only con from my part, they only have 2 thrill slides out of 12. Verdict: ++cool water slides, interesting variety ++nice ambience, style ++lots of nice places to relax/chill +short to no waits (weekday, august) +spacious +many pools to swim and hang around, not cramped +cleanliness +/-pricing -restauration mid, picnic spots, no pool bar
M H — Google review
Our wallet was stolen there with all the documents and cards, stollen so professionally we didn’t realise until the way back home. Returned there & politely asked the receptionist to check, as the last time we had it was at the reception area. Someone just grabbed it from under our eyes and we haven’t realised at that time. Returned back asked for help, zero empathy from the receptionist didn’t even make an effort, like she was blaming us for being robbed. I understand they might not have authorisation to check cctv at the reception, but at least try and do something. Would not visit it again. And would not recommend in terms of safety.
Rut C — Google review
The park could definitely be improved. It was quite cold, and since you have to walk barefoot all day on the stone floors and up the stairs to the slides, it became uncomfortable very quickly. There are no proper sunbeds to relax on – only cheap plastic chairs. Even the jacuzzi water was very cold, which was really disappointing.

Great place not so crowded Indoor parking connecting to the actual spa. Large migros restaurant inside. And shopping like aldi.

Kybunpark, formerly known as AFG Arena, is a versatile stadium located at Zurcher Strasse 464 in St. Gallen. With a capacity of 19,568 people, it has been the stage for memorable FC St. Gallen 1879 matches and can also host various events such as meetings, seminars, conferences, and festive gatherings for up to 300 guests.
A very modern and fans-friendly venue. Easy to find (next to a motorway), easy to park a car, easy to enter (clearly marked gates and sectors), friendly audience, vibrant atmosphere. Well equipped outlets with food and beverage, cash and card. Well done and hoop St Gallen!

Great stadium for views of the pitch and transport links from St. Gallen are very straight forward. The stadium steps are quite steep if you are higher up, which means a good view from any seat but can be a bit of effort to get higher up.

Great sporting venue. Easy to get in and out even when completely booked out. Excellent food and drink kiosks.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
The Abbey Library of Saint Gall is a remarkable rococo library that has been collecting religious texts since its establishment in 719. With over 170,000 works including handwritten manuscripts, early prints, and books dating back to the 8th century, it holds an impressive collection. Notable pieces include illuminated manuscripts by Irish and St. Gall monks, the Plan of St.
The Abbey Library in St. Gallen is absolutely stunning - stepping inside feels like entering a fairytale. The baroque architecture, ancient books, and beautiful woodwork are breathtaking. The atmosphere is peaceful and inspiring, and the views of the historic Abbey district outside make it even more magical. A must-visit gem for book lovers, history fans, or anyone who loves beauty!
JYOTSNA O — Google review
If you're here in St Gallen, this place is an absolute must-visit. For 18 CHF, you get access to the library, the vaulted cellar and an exhibition space. Having said that, the library is still the star attraction. Before entering the library, you will need to put on slippers over your shoes. There doesn't seem to be any time limit to stay in the library, so you can always wait till the library empties out to catch great photos of the library. In particular, I loved the look of the book cases, but I was a little weirded out by the display of a mummy in the corner, which we cannot photograph.
Samuel S — Google review
We walked in around one hour before closing and therefore we could only visit the library. You would need to put on cotton-made shoeson top of your own shoes to prevent damages to the wooden floor. The library itself is indeed stunning. Although I could not read any of the books but the decor, the drawings, and all of the details are just delightful to see. A dead mummy is placed inside the library. From what I could tell it is still preserved in good conditions; but if you are scared you could always skip that corner of the library.
Kero C — Google review
Mere words cannot describe this library, the museum, and the adjacent church. It is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. You’re looking at books that are 500 years old, as a geographer I loved the globe from 1530, documents from Charlemagne, and much more. Danke für alles !
Joseph K — Google review
I imagine every visitor's dream is to be alone in this library for a few hours, randomly picking books from unlocked shelves. It's a small room that takes you back in time offering filmesque experience that can partially be spoiled with too many visitors inside. Maybe a suggestion for the library to either limit time of visit or the number of visitors per group for better experience.
Boris M — Google review
Very beautiful library room. Surely worth a visit when you‘re already in St. Gallen. I was there on a weekday with very few visitors in the afternoon so I had no queues and at one point the rooms were almost empty. You have to wear slippers on your shoes, which they provide, but it is well worth preserving such a beautiful room. If you have a Raiffeisen Card, you get the entry to three locations for free, which is nice.
Fiona W — Google review
Wow. Wow. Wow. You don't have to be a history buff to enjoy every aspect of this stunning time capsule. The architecture alone was something I had never seen before. Truly a must-see when in Switzerland.
Kamie A — Google review
One of the most beautiful libraries I have visited so far. Library in Porto is also beautiful but this library in St Gallen has far less visitors so you are really able to appreciate the details of it's beauty.

Catholic church
Historical landmark
St. Gallen Cathedral is an impressive 18th-century Baroque Catholic cathedral located in a UNESCO-listed district. Constructed between 1755 and 1767, it stands as one of the last monumental Baroque monastic buildings in Europe. The interior boasts vibrant colors, stucco adornments, and numerous carvings. The cathedral's famous lunettes depict church fathers and symbolize the application of knowledge at the Abbey.
St. Gallen Cathedral & Abbey Library - A Spiritual and Cultural Gem I never miss visiting the St. Gallen Cathedral whenever I’m in St. Gallen, Switzerland. This awe-inspiring baroque cathedral is not only rich in history but also offers a deeply peaceful and reflective atmosphere. The interior murals are breathtaking, and I often find myself sitting quietly just to admire the beauty and stillness. Behind the cathedral is the St. Gallen Abbey Library (Stiftsbibliothek)—one of the oldest (if not mistaken it’s the 3rd oldest in the world) and most beautiful libraries. It’s a must-visit for history lovers and architecture enthusiasts alike. Though I’m not Christian, I’ve attended Sunday services simply to experience the magnificent wind organ and angelic choir. The music fills the cathedral with such powerful emotion, it’s truly unforgettable. This place holds a special spot in my heart. No trip to St. Gallen ever feels complete without spending time here.
Melissa H — Google review
This is a very bright church giving away a calm vibe for you to stop and rethink life for a brief moment. The detailed drawings on the ceilings and the wall decors are well preserved. Recommend to reserve around 30 minutes to really observe and admire the church.
Kero C — Google review
Dropping by in this beautiful space for just 5 minutes can really change your mood. The paintings on the ceiling are immaculate the interior is such a sight to see. It's a good refuge from the cold plus you feel a sense of calm here.

Super pretty! As an atheist, I don’t really care for places of worship, but this one took my breath away! Amazing looking. I went inside but there was a service, so no inside photos, I just sat quietly for a while and enjoyed the atmosphere. 100% recommendations for any religion or nationality visitors, it’s worth it.
V Z — Google review
St.Gallen is a beautiful historic city with many monuments, historic houses with specific niches and a beautiful cathedral. Above the city there is a romantic walking area with a wide panorama of the city of St. Gallen and the nearby Lake Constance. You can get to this place by car, bus or cable car. You can also go up steep stairs, but it is visually demanding and not everyone can do it. There are also three natural swimming pools, called Drei Weineren, and a very nice restaurant with a view.
Helena — Google review
Beautiful architecture preserved for 1500 years. Absolutely stunning interior and the entire town around it. Must visit place.

The Abbey of Saint Gall, located in St. Gallen, is a significant cultural and historical site with ties to two Catholic saints. This dissolved abbey was a prominent center of European culture from the 8th century until its secularization in 1805. The complex includes a cathedral, library, and monastery archives that were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. Visitors are drawn to the renowned historic library and well-preserved museums within the abbey grounds.
Very beautiful Kloster. Enough parking space close by. Doesn’t cost anything. Very mesmerising to see.

Just one room but totally worth the visit. Oldest library of Switzerland with lots of old books. You cannot touch the books as bookshelves are locked. There is also a real mummy with coffin on display. The interiors are stunning and you have to wear huge sandals over your shoes provided by them to protect the wooden floor of library. There are free lockers for luggage storage and entry here is free with Swiss Travel Pass.
Nirav P — Google review
Located at 1st floor, there is the storage room for bag deposit during visit. Need to use the big slipper before entry. Very nice and elegant library inside. Not large room. Entry fee is 18 CHF each for adult (a bit pricey) but if you have the St. Gallen tourist pass (1-day = 24 CHF), it’s more cheaper that you can enter other museums or attractions.
Klongthip T — Google review
I love this place. It's worth every penny :) This is the second time I have come here. I love all the woodwork on the walls and handrail, and 3d and paint details in the ceiling. I also love the old Earth globe. And all of it was hand made a loooooonh time ago! There is a mummy too. You can ask to get an audio guide. Each ticket is 18 francs. You'll be asked to leave all bags and backpacks in a locker (which is free). The ticket includes other stuff. There is a bathroom. There is a gift store with some nice stuff.
Alexia Y — Google review
Awesome library and vault. Gem of St. Gallen. Ticket can be redeemed for free if you have Swiss Travel Pass.

Stunning library. Tickets are a little expensive but I think worth it. The exhibits about monastic music were very interesting. Also enjoyed the vault exhibit below the library.

What an amazing Abbey. Free to enter. It is not part of the library ticket.

Charming little place tucked away behind the Cathedral St Gallen and opposite the funicular that takes you up to Drei Linden and Drei Weiheren. The brunch was delicious and the portions just right. There are tables outside as well and this pavement section creates another lovely and spot to sit with a very European ambiance. Restaurant Zeughaus St.Gallen is a must-visit for those who love delicious food, especially Cordon Bleu. The interior may be plain, but the excellent food and service make up for it. The classic and St. Gallen Cordon Bleu are perfect choices, accompanied by highly recommended Muller Thurgau wine or well-maintained Schutzengarten light beer.

(Translated by Google) Yesterday I enjoyed a wonderful evening in thezeughaus restaurant. Already at the entrance, where there was a hand-designed welcome board, I realized that you are welcome here. The service was very attentive and warm. The food, such as the delicious beetroot and apple salad with honey mustard dressing, was excellent in every respect, very attractively presented on the plate, fresh and simply a pleasure. (Translated by Google) I haven't had such delicious cordon bleus in a long time – with high-quality ham and a generous but not overly spicy cheese filling, the breading crispy as it should be. The egg noodles served with it were truly fantastic, the starter salad was generous and had a very delicate salad dressing, and the soups (e.g., basil soup) were creative and also fantastic! The young owners are very friendly, the atmosphere is informal, the prices are fair, and the ambiance is great and charming, right in the heart of the old town.

Fusion restaurant
Neubad, formerly known as a gourmet restaurant, has now transformed into a culinary destination under the management of Sandro and Natalie Vladani. The establishment is now referred to as 'Genuss Manufaktur Neubad,' offering affordable variety rather than traditional gourmet cuisine. Additionally, the area features small, rustic restaurants such as 'Zum Goldenen Schafli,' 'Postli,' and 'Baumli' located on the first floor of historical buildings with unique architectural characteristics.
Quite surprised at how amazing this place was - the food is one of the best in St.Gallen! The chef’s passion and technique is definitely felt. Sit upstairs if you can - so charming. The service is also excellent.

Wonderful charming restaurant located a few steps away from the magnificent Abbey of St. Gallen (UNESCO listed) and the famous library. The food was very good, the service as well. Top notch!

Modern cooking, excellent service, with perfect portions. Light fare possible if you still have a days to walking around to do. Excellent dessert. One English speaking staff who did her best to translate the menu, which was perfect with a combination of Google translate! Definitely worth a visit after a morning at the Abbey.

We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant. Luckily great weather, hence sitting outside on the lovely terrace. The service was super nice and could not be better. The owner of the place, himself, was part of the service team, which was very nice. The food was outstanding and delicious - not much more to say. Everything was just great.

A perfect Restaurant for those who really loves quality food. Perfect Ambiance for a perfect Food🥰🥰🥰
Michelle R — Google review
The food is very overpriced for its quality — the price does not match what you get. The service also left much to be desired, and there was constant noise from the staff throughout the visit.

Amazing menu. If I hadn't been dead set on getting the daily special, I would never have been able to decide what to get. I didn't take a picture of the excellent special: Vitello Tonnato, but I did get a shot of the daily dessert special.
Thomas M — Google review
Very expensive for the food quality and the level of service. Waiters are too busy to even look at you. Main course dish 40-60 franks for a smallish size of a portion. And tapas style plates for 20-30 franks. All in all for 3 people having 3 mains, 1 beer, and 2 bottles of water we spent 180 franks. And we were still hungry. This is practically a modern day robbery :) Ok for once, but will not be back.

Day 2

North side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the north side side of town. Start the day off with Walter Zoo, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Shopping Arena St. Gallen. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Walter Zoo in St. Gallen, Switzerland is a prominent wildlife educational resource and a popular tourist attraction. It is the largest private zoo in the country and boasts the largest chimpanzee enclosure. The zoo houses around 500 animals from 100 different species, with its main highlight being the colony of 17 chimpanzees. Visitors can also enjoy attractions like the Serengeti enclosure featuring lions, a playground, petting zoo, camel and pony rides.
Located on the border of a very picturesque village (Gossau) is a child friendly zoo, where animal conservation and repopulation of Amur Tigers and other threatened species is the main goal. The layout is quite family friendly with lots of different playgrounds, thematically incorporated with the enclosure next to it. They perform a kids' theatre twice a day (11am and 3pm). Several restaurants can be found at both ends of the zoo. The only complaints I habe is the expensive rides on the playground (2.--/per ride) and the long wait after ordering food. But you are allowed to eat your own food as well.

It was an amazing experience, we fed the animals, touched them. Best part is you can take ur dog to the zoo👍🏼 Kids enjoyed themself🎉

Great place for the big ones and small ones. The Zoo is situated in a beautiful place in Gossau, easy access with the train, bus or with the car. Different kind of animals, some of them you can even feed - great experience for the children!! There are also a few places where you can buy the food and admire the animals. Definitely worth to go and explore
Aneta L — Google review
Highly recommend this little zoo. Very easy to get to, with ample parking near the entrance. It's quite small but this makes it great for shorter visits. You can see pretty much everything in half a day, including the additional activities on offer. There are lots of animals and they all appear well looked after with plenty of space. Our kids enjoyed getting up close and feeding some of them. Additionally, there are several kids' play areas and a few food and drinks stands. We arrived a bit late and just missed the last camel ride but that's something to look forward to next time! The gift shop was reasonably priced and had a wide selection of souvenirs to give the kids something to remember the day by. Definitely worth a visit if you want to get up close to the animals, or if you don't have time to get round the bigger zoos.
Pb — Google review
Nice small Zoo with lots of Animals, even Panters, Lions, Tigers and more. Lots of fun for the whole family and not crowded at all. Only thing they could improve is signs, its hard to get around without a paper map and everything is in German only
David H — Google review
Loved the place, but 28 chf was a bit expensive for me.
Nasib S — Google review
The zoo is very clean, and you can even feed some of the animals. The highlight for us was the Flug Training of the birds, especially the parrots, it was truly amazing! There’s also a picnic area, a grill station, and a restaurant. Also Kiosk that offer grilled sausages and hotdogs, making it easy to enjoy a meal without bringing your own food.

I have sampled kebabs from various establishments in Sankt Gallen, but one particular eatery stands out as my ultimate favorite. Lagerhaus is a stylish restaurant that prides itself on avoiding processed produce and instead prepares many dishes on a unique beech wood barbecue, allowing meat and fish to be cooked in their most original form. The restaurant offers a perfect setting for romantic dates or group gatherings, with welcoming greetings and great service. Guests can enjoy dishes like rib eye steak with fries and fresh vegetables, as well as delectable desserts such as Molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.
Good beef tender. Also fish was very good! Love it.

Fish was good but it was too loud because there were a lot of people with children and all. If you are looking for a quieter place than it’s not a good option. The menu was too complicated to me to understand.
Nasib S — Google review
We waited forever for our food, not the best service. The prices were not transparent, the waiter brought a bunch of waters without even asking and then charged our group at the end. We asked for 800g of steak and then was brought 950g and charged for it, and the steak was half fat. Would not recommend
Shelby N — Google review
Beautiful setting in a classy older building. Lunch menu included healthy choice of fish of the day (Sea Bass), which was cooked to perfection. The menu also included excellent salads, which are common in Switzerland. Will return to Lagerhaus for dinner sometime. Highly recommended.

Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Wildpark Peter und Paul. Not quite as popular as Abbey Library of Saint Gall, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Wildpark Peter und Paul is a free-entry animal attraction located in the northeastern part of St. Gallen. It offers hiking paths that lead visitors past large enclosures housing local animals such as deer, boar, lynx, ibex, chamois, and marmots. The park provides stunning views of Lake Constance and is a peaceful place to walk or cycle around. Visitors can also enjoy a small restaurant on-site for quick bites or snacks.
An oasis of wild just at outskirts of the City Saint Gallen. Many animals live there: deer, wild boars, wild cats, bobcats, mountain goats, marmots. No entry fee, several parkingspots available and also a restaurant. Best time to visit, in spring. Excellent panorama view
Andrei T — Google review
Lovely views along the walking paths winding through the woods, passing large enclosures along the way. We were fortunate to see several baby steinbock in a nursery enclosure. So cute! The entrance is free, but you will want to make a donation to help support and maintain this treasure.

Mabel H — Google review
What an incredible and beautiful place! We had so much fun watching the animals. You won't find them this playful and active at a normal zoo, nor does a normal zoo have such spectacular scenery as a backdrop.
TLP — Google review
Very nice place to go for a walk and see so many wild animals, surrounded by beautiful forest 🌳 and great restaurant with delicious ice cream 🍦
Barbara P — Google review
Shops are not open on a Sunday so we visited this wildlife park with the free bus ticket from the hotel. It’s a 5min bus ride and 15-20min walk from there. A small park with farm animals such as the marmots, deers, mountain goats. Not the most grand but you also get a view of the entire city and lake Constance from the hill. My only complaint is they don’t label Peter and Paul, so I don’t know which marmots are they 😅
MY — Google review
Lots of people describe parking but I had a hard time finding out WHERE, so let me clarify. There are parking spots by the restaurant and the sign clearly states that it is for visitors to the restaurant OR wildlife park. As many others stated, there are limited parking spots. The walk through the park is a loop that we did at a very leisurely pace, taking lots of pictures, in about 45 minutes. The wildlife are in large enclosures, so this is essentially a zoo (and entry is free).
Alan T — Google review
It's a nice and peaceful place on the top of the hill, where you can walk or even cycle around. It's free entry and alot of parking space too. There is a nice small restaurant where you can grab a quick bite or snacks too. Kids really enjoyed seeing the animals. There are deer, wild boar, wild goats, and lynx. It's a nice gateway for a day, so I will definitely go there again.

Established in 1892, Restaurant Peter und Paul is located next to the enchanting Wildpark Peter und Paul on the summit of Rotmonten. The restaurant boasts a terrace offering one of the most stunning views of St. Gallen, extending far beyond Lake Constance. With a history rooted in smuggling Italian ibex kids to lay the foundation for successful ibex breeding, this establishment has maintained its allure for over 125 years.

Museums
The Natural History Museum St. Gallen is a must-visit destination for those interested in the natural world and dinosaur skeletons. The museum offers an open exhibition space spread across 2000 square meters, complete with a digital guide available in three languages, including English. Visitors can explore the top floor to view fascinating findings that demonstrate the evolution of life, including the original skeleton of a duck-billed dinosaur. Adjacent to the St. Gall monastery and Abbey Library, the Abbey Cathedral of St.
Beautiful museum! There are some interactive parts to touch and listen. The content is in German and a mobile app with limited info in English exists. We spent two and a half hours here. You can find small refreshment in a café downstairs. I liked the architecture of the building very much too and I recommend to visit also the wonderful botanical garden nearby.
Lucie M — Google review
A great experience. My 4 year old son was very excited to see all the animals and listen to the sounds they made. I recommend parents with young children to spend 2-3 hours here, it's worth it.
Simona C — Google review
Very nice, yet small Natural History Musem. We enjoyed all the animals presented. It's a pity that everything is in German, nothing in English. The terrain model of Sankt Gallen canton is definitely a highlight. The only disadvantage is that all animals are placed so high that if you're there with a child, you need to rise it up all the time. Quite a workout :)
Szymon S — Google review
I must say it was a unique experience. While not massive in size, it was just right for someone like me, a grown man with a keen interest. The exhibits were not only informative but also engaging for kids. What fascinated me the most were the interesting facts and displays featuring animals. Seeing them in person gave me a great sense of their size in comparison. A visit here offers a blend of educational and enjoyable moments for all ages.
Armir K — Google review
A great natural history museum. It is greag for kids, lots of zouching, investigating allowed. There are also games to play. They provide storage lockers for a small fee. There is a small giftshop and cafe.

Alexandra B — Google review
I didn't have high expectations but was positively surprised on many levels. The building architecture is interesting and allows for a fun path across different levels and rooms. There are a lot of interactive exhibits that offer a fun way to learn - not only to kids but adults alike. The museum has a focus on local animal life, but also has sections on geology, paleontology and some exotic zoology.

The botanical garden, although relatively obscure and tucked away from the city, astounded me with its vastness. Unlike other cities, I didn't initially think to search for a botanical garden nearby. However, upon visiting it, I was pleasantly surprised by its grandeur which matches that of larger cities. The gardens exceeded my expectations and showcased a stunning variety of flowers and plants.
A true jem in the city. Wide variety of plants, bushes and trees from all over the world. You can walk around for several hours here and enjoy the beauty. Only bad point, the labels are small so you need to search them diligently so that you read. All in all, a free to enter must-see

I'd never thought that it was that huge. Pretty unknown and hidden outside the city but I was really surprised when I first visited it. Definitely on the same level as the botanic gardens of other cities even much bigger ones.

Thai restaurant
If you're on the hunt for an authentic Thai dining experience, look no further than Thai Dragon. This charming little restaurant offers a delightful buffet lunch that is sure to tantalize your taste buds with its generous portions and mouthwatering flavors. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is complemented by the friendly staff, who go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable visit. Guests rave about the special desserts inspired by Thailand, making each meal feel unique and personal.
The service is really great. We were served with a complimentary appetisers and fruit for dessert ☺️ I had Duck Phad Thai and it was the best I had so far in Switzerland. Although the taste is a little too sweet for my liking (I prefer salty meal). Overall, I’d recommend this restaurant for an authentic Thai food 😊

The food here is amazing, so tasty and really big portions! But apart from that, what really stands out is the service. Very nice, family atmosphere and you get even something small on top of what you ordered! 😋

Italian restaurant
The proprietor and employees of Ristorante Pizzeria Testarossa were all extremely Italian and exceedingly amiable. The ambiance exuded authenticity, and the cuisine was delectable with commendable quality. Notably, the prices offered good value for money. Additionally, ample parking facilities were available nearby. In summary, this establishment provided scrumptious fare accompanied by excellent service in a genuine Italian setting without any cellular device distractions.
Owner and staffs were all very Italian and super friendly. Authentic atmosphere. Food was delicious and the quality was pretty good. Good value for money too. Enough parking space next to the restaurant.

the pizza was awefull and over priced. the dough was like that of a frozen one. the ingredients are too watery, they have no idea what they are doing. I can't understand why this restaurant is so busy. the only positive thing was that at the end an espresso and grappa was on the house.
