Pomezia in 2 days

If you only have 2 days to spend in Pomezia, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Pomezia appeals mainly for its convenient location just south of Rome, offering a quieter base within easy reach of the capital. Nearby Torvaianica provides access to sandy beaches on the Tyrrhenian Sea, while the archaeological area of ancient Lavinium (near Pratica di Mare) features temples and votive statues linked to early Roman legend. Families are often drawn to the Zoomarine water and marine-life theme park close by. The town can also serve as a practical stopover for exploring the wider Lazio region, including the Alban Hills and coastal sites.
With favorites like Resti villa Romana, Miseria e Nobiltà, and Momar, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Miseria e Nobiltà and Bottega Regionale so you can get the best taste of Pomezia while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Went there today — it was nice overall. The place is open-air, clean, and easy to walk around. Lots of big brands, and it wasn’t too crowded, which was a plus. Prices were just okay. Some good finds, but not everything felt like a deal. You’ve got to look around a bit. One thing: go to the info desk first and ask for the discount card. They don’t really advertise it, but it gets you a bit more off at some stores. Worth grabbing. Not a must-visit, but a solid option if you’re in Rome and feel like doing some shopping.
Wail L — Google review
The place had a lot of variety in stores there. A big plus is that there is a bus that takes you from the center of the city to the mall, and comes back every hour to take you back. The whole place was very clean, there is also a small dog playground. A con though is that there is no specific place to sit down and eat food. There are restaurants scattered around the whole area.
Nataliya F — Google review
Designer Outlet Castel Romano is a premier shopping destination located just outside Rome, offering an impressive selection of high-end brands at discounted prices. The spacious outdoor layout provides a pleasant shopping experience, complemented by charming architecture and well-maintained gardens. Visitors can find everything from fashion to accessories, catering to various tastes and budgets. Additionally, the presence of cafes and restaurants makes it a convenient spot to relax after shopping. Overall, Castel Romano is a must-visit for both fashion enthusiasts and casual shoppers looking for great deals in a beautiful setting.

Open-air shopping mall with several good brands. You can spend all day visiting the stores and shopping. Fee car park is also avaible
Sezin H — Google review
Good selection of premium stores. Prices are still a bit high, notwithstanding it is an outlet. Exterior looks like a typical US outdoor mall. Stores vary from clothes to household items. Get in early, crowds flock especially starting mid November in lieu of the holiday season. Stores open at 10.00 am. Parking spaces available.
Cristina M — Google review
Let’s say that my fav McArthur is Parndorf, but this one has beautiful vibes and good prices also.
Andreea O — Google review
It's not the most extensive outlet mall but it is still worth going to fill your spending needs. Went on the first day of the mid season sale which gives up to 30% off on the outlet prices making it a sweeter deal. For those taking the shuttle from Rome Termini, there is no need to purchase the tickets online. You can purchase the tickets when entering the shuttle bus itself. The ride takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. All in all if you fancy the brands available here, it's worth the visit.

If you're on the hunt for luxury fashion at a fraction of the price, the Burberry Outlet is a must-visit destination. This spacious outlet features distinct sections for both men and women, making it easy to navigate through an impressive array of styles and colors. The team here truly shines with their exceptional customer service; they go above and beyond to ensure you find exactly what you're looking for.
Excellent professionalism and customer care. I have had a great time on several occasions with all the staff and in shopping.
Maria A — Google review
Great experience here, and again, the staff here went the extra mile. Was advised of the classic Burberry check shirts with an additional 40% off and Tax free. If you're a fan of Burberry, this place is a must!
Leighton S — Google review
No staff to ask. I had to cross the whole store and found only the cashier. Poor
Sattam M — Google review
Unpleasant behavior of a Russian-speaking employee of the Burberry outlet. Today I went to the Burberry outlet to look at men's trench coats before the outlet closed at 19:55. And first I saw discounted bags, looked at them and took a photo with them. I checked with an Italian-speaking employee for the discounted price. A very nice and polite employee calculated the price and showed it on a calculator. She also showed and led to men’s trends. The same employee began consulting other visitors, and I looked at 1 trench coat and photographed it. Then I went to another one, and then an employee I didn’t know came up to me from behind and started saying in Russian that they were closed and the cash register was closed. I replied that I understand and want to take one photo. The co-worker answered in Russian that no, that they were closed, and I wouldn’t be able to buy anything. I again explained that I only needed to take one photo and I understood that the store was closed. To this the employee answered me verbatim: “No, you don’t understand! We are closed! I want to go home!" and all this with hysterical notes in his voice. It was very unpleasant. This is the first time I've encountered this at Burberry. The staff here are always very polite. I always spoke to them in Italian, and I didn’t even know that there were Russian-speaking employees here. During this entire unpleasant conversation, there were visitors nearby and an Italian-speaking employee helped them in choosing a purchase. There were also other customers in the store, to whom none of the employees said anything. I am very disappointed in this situation, and that it was me who was approached in such an unpleasant manner.

I bought a jacket. Next day I found colour transfer to t-shirt. It took me two weeks to get the reimbursement. The shop didn`t want to return money immediately after this evidente deffect. Not recommended

Outstanding dedication to customer service from the whole team. Michela and the gentlemen went above and beyond to ensure an item that was out of stock in Rome arrived to the store from Venice within 24h
Anna V — Google review
It's quite big for an outlet. They have separate shops for men and women. Both at each side of the village. Almost all colours but not all sizes.

It's extremely unfriendly. I was going to buy a scarf, but the male employee was so offended that I didn't buy it. Don't go if you can.

Park
Cinecittà World is Italy's first amusement park dedicated to Cinema and Television, offering a variety of rides, entertainment, shops, and restaurants. The park features adrenaline-pumping activities such as roller coasters and boat coasters, as well as a large pool with a central LCD concert-style screen that creates a vibrant pool party atmosphere. With affordable ticket prices for all-day activities, it provides great value for visitors.
All in one Theme Park. Perfect for family and friends getaway. We had a lot of fun.

I would give it a 5 star if not for the service in the Roma food court staff who was completely against cooperating and replacing the hamburger meal with a new one because they put mayo sauce in it and didn't tell us and our 11 year old kid wasn't able to eat it. Other than that encounter it was a good time spent. The opening ours of 11AM to 6PM may sound like not a lot but you can easily do all the rides, some even a couple of times in a single day. We went on a non-busy season on a Friday and the park had a few school groups but not many other tourists which contributed to almost no significant wait time in lines (because the park is big) Rides are great and there's a good blend of extreme (ATLAS rollercoater) and VR based rides which is nice. We traveled via public transportation taking the Metro train from Termini station in Rome to Laurentina and then a bus from there to the park, overall about a 1.5h, not so bad. Check Goolge Maps for timing and lines. Overall, very recommended.

Visited: June 7, 2025 We booked online and added the €25 Fast Track for each of us and I’d say it’s worth it — it really helps you skip the lines in the main park. Just note: Fast Track only works in Cinecittà World, not the water park or Roma World. The haunted house was alright — nothing crazy, but fun to go through. The ticket includes three parks: the main theme park, a small water park (Aqua World), and Roma World. In the main area, there are just four proper thrill rides (a roller coaster, water ride, and two others). The rest are mostly for kids — light and easy. Aqua World is very basic. It has a lazy river that takes about 7 minutes to float around, and just two slides — but you can’t ride them solo. You need two people, so it’s not great if you’re with one kid and don’t want to ride. Pretty boring for adults, but okay for kids. They also had a foam party in the pool, which was a fun little bonus with music and dancing. As for lockers, definitely book them at the park — not online. That way, you can choose the size that actually fits your stuff. One thing I appreciated: the staff spoke English really well, which made everything much easier. Just be ready for an extra €8 for parking. Overall: A fun day out, especially for families with kids. Don’t expect big thrills, but with Fast Track, it’s smooth and enjoyable.

The carpark is NOT safe as all our belongings were stolen and it ruined our holiday with a massive shock. We did NOT receive much help nor sympathy from the park staff. They told us the camera is connected to the Police. The police said it is not showing anything. We gave the police the location of our iPad. Nothing was done, only a report given to us. The interesting point is no car can come in without security and ticket check, yet the thieves managed to come in and take 8 suitcases and four hand bags and backpacks fill probably two cars in front of the security guards! We hardlyanaged to fit all those suitcases in that car. It takes good bit of time and yet it went unnoticed. The thieves managed to leave the Cinecitta carpark unnoticed (or noticed....?!) The park itself was below average of theme parks. It was the only place so far which had standard toilets. Restaurant inside closed at 4. Food standard below average. Overall, I do NOT recommend this place for family good time, as it is NOT secure and you receive NO support after being targeted by whoever they are.
Treety F — Google review
Feeling like the park is a bit under maintained. Long waits due to low capacity. Rollercoaster with only one train on the track. And only one side running on the drop tower.
Levi T — Google review
The theme park itself was fantastic, with a great selection of rides and a really fun atmosphere. The Fast Pass was a huge help and made getting on the most popular attractions quick and easy. Unfortunately, our experience was brought down by one staff member who was incredibly rude and unhelpful at one of the rides. Despite our Fast Passes, they treated us poorly compared to other guests and outright refused to give their name when asked. While the park itself deserves a five-star rating, this single unprofessional and frustrating encounter brought the overall experience down to three stars.
Oleksandra P — Google review
There really isn't much to do here, and it has barely anything about Cinecitta and the films they've made. I went on Halloween and while there were some fun moments, it was a huge let down. I wouldn't describe it as a "world" park, more like a "land". It has about 2 proper coasters, 1 of them was closed. The special effects on Inferno was so bad, you can see its just bad graphics on a screen. The best thing about the park was their couch coaster - Volarium. Which brings Leonardo Da Vinci's paintings and designs alive and I loved that. But that was it. Its mostly for kids and the amount of time you get on the rides is very short. There were a lot of themed rides you had to pay extra for that we were told were included in our ticket, but turned out to not be. The studio tour was turned into a black out screamer fest and we just got screamed at the entire time, which was the case for the Transylvannian Hotel as well. Screaming is a cheap copout for genuine Halloween fun, and I don't see how it was for kids! The U-571 ride sent me into shock and tears because I was just so tired of being screamed at. The English from the park staff meant any notice warnings were limited in translation, which I get I'm in Italy and they're speaking Italian but you could at least have a translated print out? Also, you have to pay again if you exit the park to go to Roma World or even your car! Classic Italian cheap stake tourist trap! Do not go here...
Madeleine W — Google review
The park is relatively small. As we have visited in November, after Halloween and before Christmas, the park was literally empty which was on one hand agréable as there was no wait for the rides, on the other hand - there was a lack of atmosphere. Most of the staff was not speaking English and the few spectacles we have assisted to were only in Italian. The food is pricey, but it’s common for an amusement park. For those seeking thrills, the park won't live up to your expectations. There are three rides rated as "extreme" and indeed, they were fun to ride. They are noted in red on the map provided at the entrance. The others are as someone below mentioned - like at a funfair. It's probably best to visit when there's a specific theme and more decoration.

Shopping
Shopping Village Castel Romano is a contemporary center that offers a mix of local and global retail shops, casual eateries, and services. Visitors can enjoy sporting activities like ice skating and world-class performances while shopping. The place is known for its joyful atmosphere and pet-friendly environment. It's also home to famous brand outlets, with amenities for visitors including dining options. However, parking may be insufficient on weekends, and the open-air setting means it can get uncomfortably hot on sunny days.
Great shopping center. A lot of good brands, places to have a snack, play area for kids.

Mahmut B — Google review
The main flaw of this complex is its design, which architecturally lacks the beauty of the charming Italian outlets. It consists of several corridors, with various clothing brands visible in each one. There are average and ordinary brands with low prices, but generally, the clothes provided to these branches are not comparable to the clothes in the city-center branches.
Armin E — Google review
Single stop (well planned) "shopping Village" for all top brands. Great amenities for the visitors. It will take at least 2hr to take a stroll of this place assuming not stopping for shopping anywhere. Kids love this place. This place is pet friendly.

Casal Romano Designer Outlet is a shopper’s paradise! Great variety of brands with 50–60% discounts and excellent stock. A must-visit if you’re in Rome and love branded shopping at great prices.
Saurabh M — Google review
Wonderful shopping centre, modern and clean, atmosphere could do with a run over, feels a little dense & strained but overall lovely design and quality of shops - pity my experience was spoilt by the one store KIK - awful staff, incredibly rude & insolent ( no one should have staff like this to run their store) so my experience was ruined solely by the staff at this store. Pity !!

Some shops have great deals, others not so good. There should be more options for dinning and drinking. Shops should be organized better, for example the Calvin Klein underwear shop was on one side and the Calvin Klein shop which also had underwear was on the other side. It was a bit confusing as also other brands had 2 shops.

Carrefour Market in Pomezia, Italy, is a one-stop shop for all your grocery needs. The store offers a wide variety of high-quality products including fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and pantry staples. In addition to groceries, you can find baked goods, snacks, and beverages to complement your shopping list. With reasonable prices and 24-hour opening times, it's a convenient place to pick up everything you need.

I noticed a consistent degradation of the supermarket in the last month, compared to when the market was newly renovated. Today it was particularly dirty, eventhough only few people were in the supermarket. Furthermore, only the automatic cash points were available as a payment option, of which only two out of four were working (this is since weeks like that). On top of all also these two started to have trouble (low change and the paper was off), but no assistent was around to help. Nobody controlles if people pay and the gate is always open. The fresh sushi is the only reason I frequent this place.

(Translated by Google) I've been sick to my stomach for exactly three days after having had a pizza and a panuozzo here. The good thing is that the sausage inside the panuozzo was almost completely raw and unfortunately I noticed it at the last bites because it was small and broken inside, therefore not very visible. The other pizza obviously rubbery and inedible, the first time in my life I've thrown away a pizza. Thank you very much indeed Answer: Obviously I didn't explain myself well. It's obvious that you cooked the sausage whole and then chopped it up, the fact remains that the internal part was completely raw. Being made in small pieces it only caught my eye towards the final bites, it doesn't seem difficult to understand. What was I supposed to do, call you and tell you that you hadn't cooked a sausage for me inside the panuozzo once it was almost finished? Should I have taken pictures and been nastier? Should I have said that for €4.50 you gave a handful of cold chips in a bag? I'm not responsible for how you work and I'm not even interested in calling you to say that you made a mistake in your work, also because I'm still feeling bad about this "carelessness". Those who work assume the responsibility of providing a decent service to the customer and I was not given this, or rather I was harmed. If I make a mistake at work I don't go crying to my colleague and beg not to report it to the boss, I acknowledge the mistake and improve. You opened the business so you are exposed to the reviews of those who eat at your place, it's like this all over the world. P.s yes the pizza was rubbery, it literally took me 2 minutes to chew the crust. Then throw it on technicalities or personal tastes if it makes you feel better (Original) Sono esattamente tre giorni che sto male con lo stomaco per aver preso una pizza e un panuozzo qui.

Personale sempre gentilissimo. Consegne sempre puntuali. Insomma consigliatissima.

(Translated by Google) Good pizza although they should review some things in my opinion. The best thing I found was the dough, a cross between Neapolitan and Roman, light, well cooked in a wood oven, with a little less excess flour on the edges it would have been perfect. The things that didn't convince me were the fried foods, usually the fried foods defined as artisanal are better than the commercial ones, in this case I can't say (we're not there guys, improve them!) Supplies with little sauce, whites that broke in the hand, eaten but nothing special, tasteless croquette due to the potatoes (I also found them tasteless in the pizza). The tomato on the pizza was raw. I think that with a dough like this and some changes to be made, this pizza would have smashed the competition, which is a shame. Friendly and courteous staff but it wasn't a pizzeria I would go back to.

La Fonte di Enea is a cozy establishment with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. They offer a wide variety of delicious dishes, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. The music adds to the relaxing ambiance of the restaurant. The menu features homemade bread, pasta, and desserts, showcasing their dedication to creating everything in-house. Their wine selection is impressive, and the service provided by the staff is excellent.
Really cozy place full of kind people and delicious food. The experience was unique. Every dish was stunning in both plating and taste and the music was relaxing. The staff was very kind and understanding. I highly recommend you visit this place if you are nearby.

(Translated by Google) Welcoming and very refined restaurant both in terms of environments and in the choice of excellent quality raw materials. It has an outdoor area sheltered from the street, very comfortable. The dishes, few but highly sought after, are tasty and presented with great class. The owners, wife and husband, are truly special people, of rare kindness. We came across it for a family lunch by chance and were impressed. We will definitely be back for other occasions!

(Translated by Google) The owners of the restaurant are a husband and wife who share a passion and are truly delightful people. For the hospitality alone, it is a 5-star venue. There are both sea and land dishes, I highly recommend the fish: first and second starter. While you wait they bring you some really good wholemeal and "normal" bread made by them. All the products are of excellent quality, from the salad used to decorate the dish to the dessert, all prepared with extreme attention. The bill is certainly not for a dinner with two pizzas but the quality of the products is high and therefore the price is right. *If the review was useful to you, leave a like and follow me (just click on my profile)* (Original) I proprietari del locale sono marito e moglie che condividono una passione e sono delle persone veramente squisite.

Zoomarine is a modern amusement park that offers a variety of entertainment for the entire family. Visitors can enjoy thrilling water tube rides and slides, as well as captivating dolphin and seal shows. While some attractions may be closed at times, the park provides an unforgettable adventure with its well-maintained facilities and friendly staff. It's recommended to arrive early to catch the shows and have time for relaxation and play throughout the day.
It's a good place for family to chill and have fun. Each shows has their own stadium and shedule which it is convenient not to missed (they pinned the schedule at the guide map nearby the stadiums). The shows includes seal, dolphins and parrots which, quite spectacular. As well as, a sitcom mascot (shows for kids). Additional, nearby seal shows stadium they have penguin and seal aquarium where you can watch them. I noticed photoshoot* available with penguins and dolphins (after the shows) Other than that, they have waterslides both big and small. Quite fun indeed. Apart from that, roller coaster and water coaster (was not available during the visit), that sure gives adrenaline rush. And, pirate boat water sprinkles suitable for kids and teens. The boat move slowly so it's safe. Extra, a 4D cinema which I think, very much suitable for kids viewer. Restaurants are available but kind a pricy. However, there's another options nearby - foodhut and cafe, which more affordable prices. Overall experience was good. However, I do feel the target market are more for young children and teens based on the activities and layout of the compounds. They're not too big so kids won't be lost easily. If they're lost, it's easy to find👍 🅿️The parking* was organised they have staff to arrange the allocation. 🎟️Price is very reasonable, we pay only for €13 promo price (original price was around €39+ sth per person) per person to entry for the whole day activities (exclude food&drinks). Check their website and Facebook page for available promo. 🕴️They have safety staff stationed at each water park/slides and pools. 🚾They provide changing room and shower area*. There's number of washrooms so there's no worry about waiting queue. ⚠️The downside, the place is very crowded (probably it was weekends). Perhaps during weekdays are much better to go so, be able to enjoy more of the water park. Footnote "*"charged services

This park was really good, despite there being very few rides, with most of them being either broken or in need of a refurb. Costs €5 extra to get into the Nintendo experience, so make sure you book online since my family didn't (somehow). The fact that Mario, Sonic, Harry Potter and Topo Gigio are incorporated into the park is amazing, especially since it attracts both English and Italian speaking tourists to the park. There needs to be more sunbeds and rides as well since there weren't many. I think the Zoomarine in the Algarve is a tad better as it has more space and more rides, and also has rides that are of better quality. I would definitely recommend this! Also, there needs to be more English on the signage, I can't speak or understand that much Italian as I'm an Irish tourist :)
Saoirse C — Google review
We really liked this waterpark. They offer various shows for families as well as a large selection of pools and joy rides. It has a bit of everything and you deffinetly need a day to be able to enjoy everything. I recommend buying tickets online to skip the queues.
Diana E — Google review
We really had such a great time here. Lot’s of activities for children, shows at different hours and beautiful aquatic animals. We recommend buying tickets online, from the official site.
Mihaela — Google review
Beautiful place, dolphins are so happy… however… seals need much more space. They seem very depressed and it’s not a good look for this park. They deserve a place where they can waddle, swim freely and relax.. the3x2metre cages they are in are not enough! The other aspects of the park are beautiful, the aquarium, butterfly atrium and rides are incredible and worth a visit. I really loved my time here but felt guilty to support a place where the seals are unhappy.. please respect your seals and make them as happy as the dolphins!
Jessica H — Google review
Great experience and lovely rides and shows. The place is really big so make sure you get there early and you have a lot of stamina as there are tons of things to do and see. You have to pay 5 euros for the car park, which we did not see in the prepaid tickets we bought online. Also, there are some awesome bundle packages online. The place is super clean and the kids loved it. The dolphin show is amazing but better still pay for the one on one sessions a bit more expensive but worth the price. Have fun!

Resti Villa Romana is a captivating archaeological site that transports visitors back to the Roman era. Kiyomi Ristorante di Sushi is a delightful dining spot that beautifully blends Asian and Italian influences, offering a cozy atmosphere complemented by friendly and attentive staff. Guests rave about the freshness of their sushi, particularly the sashimi, uramaki, and gunkan. While some dishes like ravioli may not hit the mark in terms of flavor or texture, overall satisfaction remains high due to the quality sushi options available.
Not everything on the menu is super fresh, but i guess it's a consequence of being very cheap. Sushi is amazing, deep fried are great, all prawns awesome. For what i've seen today it's very recommended

(Translated by Google) The restaurant is located inside the sixteen pines shopping center and is large, well-lit, clean and well-kept. Competent and pleasant staff, competent in their work. The AYCE (All You Can Eat) menu has a price of approximately €17.00, drinks and desserts not included, the price of which is very similar to the prices found in any restaurant of the same type. The "great classics" are the dishes offered on the menu, without infamy and without praise. In the photos you can see the dishes I (we) ordered. I understand that I was very tight-lipped with the review today and that's quite unusual of me. Unfortunately the place (personal opinion) is quite anonymous, the dishes are standard, without infamy and without praise. Would I go back? Maybe, but it will never be my first choice, nor the second... nor the third. P.S. Stay calm with pushing the sale of water and soft drinks 😅 it's malice but every two seconds he asks if I wanted something else to drink when I had water and coke on the table. Shawl my friends. During my recent adventure, I had the pleasure of dining at Movida, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The culinary offerings were nothing short of spectacular; each dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Their cocktails were a highlight as well—expertly crafted and utterly delightful! I returned after some time away to discover that Movida has transformed into an even more captivating restaurant-pizzeria experience.
