The apartment was really nice and clean. Great location. But the staff at the pool let it down. Very rude and abrupt. You can’t go in the pool without budgie smugglers on. What is that about ? Also the bar and restaurant is very expensive.

Water park
Public swimming pool
Parc de Loisirs Aquatiques Nyonsoleïado is a delightful aquatic paradise perfect for families seeking fun in the sun. Spanning an impressive 1200 meters of swimming space, this water park features a variety of attractions including thrilling slides, serene lagoons, and playful mini waterfalls. With dedicated areas for younger children equipped with safe slides and splash zones, it ensures that kids under 12 have plenty to enjoy.
A great outdoor swimming pool with slides for families with great views. Highly recommended!
Mustafa — Google review
Big pool by French standards, swimming lanes in the 25m pool only in the morning. Slides that will appeal to smaller kids. Many lifeguards that also check swimming gear and behavior (running, dangerous diving). Still plenty room for dives, splashes, swimming and just plain cooling fun.
Funke E — Google review
Cheap if you go after 530pm though they close the slides at 7pm even though it is meant to be open until 730pm. No showers available as a shortage of water?! Lifeguards are whistle happy. If you want a pool, where you are responsible for your choice of how you go down the sides, head to Germany. Amazing pools and great prices and you don't have to wear speedos.
Dee D — Google review
Great water park for younger children (below are 12). Lots of slides and a larger pool with lanes. Prices are reasonable and on site restaurant is good.
Amy M — Google review
Fantastic place especially for kids, you can take your own picnic which is a bonus. Plenty of lifeguards and clean.
Brian P — Google review

Today, the Tour Randonne stands as a symbol of Nyons’ historical and cultural heritage, offering visitors a glimpse into the town’s medieval past and its enduring religious traditions. Amazing place to visit. You can see nice city view. There is small door inside which the church is there. But it was closed when we went there. Ask someone if you get confused about the path . As you need to walk a bit after parking the car.

The Pont Roman in Nyons, a historic town in France, was built in the 14th century and is classified as a historical monument. It stands as a symbol of the town's rich history and natural beauty. La Scourtinerie Sarl is a historic place where visitors can discover the traditional craft of making scourtins and learn about the techniques involved. The village it's located in is stunning, and the workshop offers an intriguing insight into the process. The shop is filled with tempting products. We can finally eat in the shade on a terrace that was originally too sunny to stay on! There were reed screens that didn't provide enough protection from the sun and didn't look as good. I'm really delighted, the effect is magnificent, I'm a huge fan 👍 Now we'll see how it looks over time, I hope it ages well 😊 (Original) Je viens d'installer mon voile d'ombrage en fibre de coco sur ma pergola. While across the room, a waiter spilled an entire pitcher of water on a child. The owner simply laughed and said, "It's okay, it's the holidays!" A completely inappropriate and humorous reaction. The prices are shamefully high for what is clearly industrial quality: the salads are obviously prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerators you can see behind the cash register. Don’t miss out on eating here! This is a real local’s spot that we were lucky enough to stumble on driving by Nyons, and it ended up being our favourite restaurant out of everywhere we’ve eaten on our visit to the area. The best service from very friendly and kind staff, really beautiful dishes packed with flavour, and great wines. There were delicious options on the menu for the vegetarians in our group too :)

Nothing to say about the food and drinks, really nice. They have a really good choice of beers, wines and spirits. The waiting time was correct because we arrived among the first (they were only 2 waiters for around 40 people, maybe they souls add one). The terrace was nice but there is no specific view on the city or the river.

What a delightful experience! We dined here as a group of 7. We all agreed it was like having dinner and a show given the ambience and charming staff. One of our group is gluten free and they took great care of explaining options and providing GF alternatives so she could enjoy everything the group enjoyed. We loved all the dishes, but asparagus starter and crème brûlée stand out as favorites. I personally appreciated the numerous local beer options.

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff, great atmosphere, really good food, will definitely make it a regular place to go. If you’re in Nyons or passing by, this is a MUST stop, don’t miss it! If you truly love coffee and appreciate the quality of it, this is the place. You will find many options, from espresso, milky cappuccino to V60. This place also offers great breakfast from granola bowls, pancakes to little sweets. Also it looked like a legit place for lunch that take into consideration vegetarians and vegans. We stopped here for cappuccino, V60, banana bread, granola and toast. We didn’t want to leave. Also mega kudos to the stuff, very friendly and welcoming!

Very nice lunch. Restaurant offered a menu of one starter, choice of three mains and dessert. Our group tried the starter and all three mains plus the daily juice. Food tasty, fresh, seasonal and attractively presented although not all dishes equally successful. Some selections vegan but cheeses and breads also offered. Service a bit frazzled at the outset. A bit pricey.

This is a very nice place where the quality of food (including how ingredients are sourced) is high. No question about that. For me the 2 little letdowns, are 1. the meals are too low in proteins, it's not a healthy balance of proteins and carbs. Tofu should be used, more legumes, in bigger amount, tempeh, maybe sheep cheese too as an option. We can't just stuff our stomachs with cereals carbs and fibers, we need proteins to produce healthy energy. 2. The service is a BIT too relaxed, for this price we might want a service a bit friendlier with a bit more care, not the vital minimum... Just some thoughts, I don't need an answer especially if it's just to defend yourself, this feedback is for you, it does nothing for me! ✌🏼

If you're looking for a good coffee made with care and quality while enjoying either the village air in the terrace or the nice tunes in the cozy bicycle themed inside, this is the place. They also make good vegan friendly meals for lunch. Highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) Highly recommended! Fun and challenging course with fantastic views. The safety technique took some getting used to, but after that it went smoothly (and above all, very safe). I climbed with two kids (ages 9 and 13). We did the blue, red, and brown courses together. Brown was challenging, especially for the youngest, age 9. I also did the black and the long zipline with the oldest, age 13. Black is definitely challenging. It was great that height was never an issue for the kids. They could easily reach everything. (Book in advance and pay in cash) (Original) Aanrader! Zwart is zeker uitdagend.

The brown course is for the more daring. I didn't do the black course. At the end, you can do a long zipline with a beautiful view of the valley. Please note: There are no food or drink options nearby. There are also no restrooms. (Original) Mooie parcours in een prachtige omgeving. Mountain peak
Garde-Grosse, located at 4 Seasons Bike Park, offers a variety of outdoor activities such as mountain biking with three downhill tracks and an enduro track. Additionally, visitors can enjoy petanque, tennis, a skate park, multi-sports fields, paragliding, and a treetop adventure park. The mountain provides stunning panoramic views of Nyons and Mont Ventoux. However, accessing the summit may require careful navigation due to road conditions.
(Translated by Google) Like many before me, I can confirm: a wonderful view of Nyons, Mt Ventoux and the whole region. By the way, there is no parking space at the top and no turning around for larger vehicles. Since the last section from the climbing park is also very difficult to navigate, I can only advise completing the last section on foot. Out of ignorance and a bit of arrogance, we tried with a 6.40m campervan and almost got stuck. Please don't copy it! It may work with a normal car, but anything over 5m is not recommended.

(Translated by Google) Nice view at the top. In any case, heading east, Nyons. Pay attention to your route. Google maps indicates that you can drive up the mountain from two sides. From the “Nyons side” this is very easy via good roads. Only the last two kilometers have some bumps in the road. You CANNOT go up via the other side from Chateauneuf de Bordette with a normal two-wheel drive car. This is an unpaved path to the top. Maybe with a 4 wheel drive it will work. Error in maps. If you have arrived, you have about 30 minutes to get to the top of the hill via the town of Les Pilles. We succeeded, and we were right on time. (Original) Mooi uitzicht boven op. Sowieso richting oosten, Nyons. Foutje in maps.

(Translated by Google) A place in the making that deserves to be discovered! What are the 3 Plane Trees? The objective is to bring together artists/artisans and make the place a cultural and social spot (and yes I know how to speak modern) by organizing meetings around specific events. The place is very pretty: A courtyard with plane trees (3 to be precise) currently we have workshops in permanent residence: Gaia du Rivau - visual artist photographer, Garance Rodari, Couleur Garance - artisan upholsterer, Ann'Clo - painter, Laurine Didier - illustrator, graphic designer and Art framer and Rémy Chazel - artisan wrought iron jeweler. I had contact with Gaia du riveau, a very pleasant and open lady (sorry I didn't have time to see her work) and Remy Chazel, a little more gruff (I didn't insist because he had a big hammer in his hand, but I'm sure he can be as friendly or funny...) There is a community café (not always open, which is a shame, especially during tourist periods) which only offers non-alcoholic drinks (that's also a shame, but that's just my opinion). Come on over! The artists/artisans organize training courses for adults and children. If this place takes off (it seems to me that it is still in the making) it could become a must-see in Nyons to follow!

Nestled in the charming town of Nyons, Les Terrasses Du Pont offers a serene dining experience with breathtaking views of the old Roman bridge and the river. This picturesque restaurant is perfect for those looking to enjoy excellent cuisine made from locally sourced ingredients. Diners rave about the generous portions and delightful desserts, making it an ideal spot for lunch or dinner. The varied menu caters to all tastes, featuring everything from perfectly cooked entrecôte to delicious fish and chips.
Absolutely stunning spot! I was a bit skeptical at first, thinking it might be a tourist trap, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic, with generous portions, much bigger than what we’ve seen elsewhere in France. The chips were especially good, and the dessert medley was definitely the highlight. Highly recommended! The music choice and the sounds of the locals having fun in the river below were also a warm and pleasant backdrop for our lunch.

We had lunch at this place when visiting the town of Nyons. The restaurant is at a perfect spot overlooking the river and the roman bridge. You won’t find a more picturesque restaurant in Nyons. The food was also really good. I had the entrecote which was well cooked and tasted great. We also had the fish and chips and cesar salad both of which were really good. The only downside was that we had to wait a bit longer for our food than we would have preferred. Aside from this I recommend this restaurant.

We were staying at a VRBO property Coeur d'Abricot in Nyons that overlooked the old bridge .So it was an easy walk down to Les Terrasses Du pont. We were lucky to get a table for 7 without booking as it was around 12am and soon after it was quite busy .The waiter could speak very good English , which was handy although 2 of our party were quite fluent the rest had only basic French. The menu is varied with a good selection of starters and mains . The food ingredients are all locally sourced .We all had starters , mains and desserts ,my burger was particularly tasty . The cheesy and garlic chips were deinately enough to share and my cafe gourmande was excellent .All our party were more than satisfied with all our food and drinks .The price was reasonable at a venue with such a lovely view .When we return to Nyons , where we have relatives we will be sure to return.

Great location overlooking the bridge with good service from attentive staff. Food was okay. Tomato & burrata salad - tomatoes were tasteless; burger was OK. Fries were soggy and not worth the extra charge.
KASinYVR — Google review
I cannot comment on the food or the atmosphere, as we were very rudely turned away. Myself, my husband and my son had wanted some food at 13:40 or so today. The place appeared open, there were people on the terrace eating and in most of the world, before 15:00 is still lunchtime. I asked for a table for 3, in French, as I have manners and don’t expect everyone to speak English. However I was responded to in a tirade of French. As a non native speaker, I cannot understand a long sentence spoken very quickly in French, I therefore politely asked if she spoke English. I was looked up and down and asked if I spoke French. I said no, only a little. She then turned her back on me and walked away. As she works in a tourist trap restaurant in a tourist location, I am almost certain she does speak English, she is just utterly rude. We found a great alternative with delicious food and a warm welcome back in the centre of town, so thank you for your rudeness as it served us well!

The person who advised us was very knowledgeable and gave us a taste of different oils with varying levels of pungency, explaining the possible uses for each. We were able to appreciate the mildness of the Nyons oil. After visiting the Uzés site and cooking with it, we are convinced that Richard oils are excellent. We highly recommend them! I'm used to COGE concerts being bookable over the phone, and after my third call, they explain to me that I have to travel! What do you do when you're coming from the provinces and have booked a hotel? A stubborn response, no attempt at finding a solution. No web link offered, no possibility of making a reservation (FYI, the concert is free), and that you have to pick up your tickets before the concert. It's mind-boggling! I'm told these are the instructions I received this year! So, after a bit of research, I found a link on the Drôme Provençale website that works and allows you to receive tickets. This may be useful to other interested people! The Nyons tourist office doesn't seem up-to-date or well-informed. The atmosphere remains pleasant even during busy times, especially on the inviting terrace. Guests rave about the fresh ingredients used in their galettes and salads, making each dish a flavorful experience. Went with a family group of 9 for lunch. Had pre-ordered our meals as it was market day and was going to be busy. Most of our group had fish , but I had beef and everyone said how lovely the food was . They serve a very nice cider to accompany the meal. The lady who runs the cafe does all front of house and never stands still , whilst her husband is the chef. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal , we sat inside but as it was a warm day the outside seating was very busy .

extremely poor experience with this place; after a terrible rain shower in Nyons, we (family of 5 persons) were soaked and were looking forward to a nice place for lunch. however, the lady in charge refused us the entrance, since she did not like us to come in with wet cloths. The place was empty, except 4 other guests and she pretended all tales were reserved. However, the place stayed rather empty and it was obvious a very poor level of hospitality. Working in hospitality business, this is for me a non-acceptable attitude of the staff (owner?) and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Le Verre a Soie is a hidden gem of a restaurant with limited space. It is essential to make reservations well in advance to enjoy the rewards it offers. This tiny restaurant is a hidden gem with very limited space. Reserving well ahead of time is a must, but you'll be rewarded for the effort. It's a two person show with a Taiwanese-French chef and a maitre with exceptional knowledge of his wines. The cuisine is a fun blend of French classics and Taiwanese-inspired versions. Each dish is packed with flavor and really showcases the chefs skillful cooking. Leave it to the maitre to suggest an exceptional wine pairing. For people with a larger appetite, two entrées, a main and a dessert would be ideal portion wise. Three courses is perfectly fine for most people I feel.

This is simply the best restaurant of Nyons. This french/asian fusion restaurant is owned and operated by a lovely couple. She cooks with love and he will wait for your orders while recommending an ideal wine pairing for your meal. The place is quiet and charming and the atmosphere relaxing. (Translated by Google) We were here for the first time a year ago. In the evening, and it was wonderful. And so we have designed the itinerary to France this year so that we can stop off again in Nyons, this magical town. The verre a soie are two people. A couple. He used to be a sommelier in a top restaurant and does the service and his Taiwanese wife does the cooking. There are many dishes that can be prepared either French or Asian style. First of all: reservations are almost a must; the few places are quickly filled. The food is on a level that you really wouldn't expect in this price range. Terrific! Both the evening cuisine and the constantly changing lunch menu. When it comes to wine, particular emphasis is placed on regional products and here in the Drôme near the Rhone we are in a wine-growing paradise, with (still) outrageously low prices. The location in a wonderful historical ambience (if the weather permits under the arcades) and the hard-working, friendly and warm couple make every visit an experience. We're already looking forward to next year! We had an incredible time at Domaine Rocheville. We started with a beautiful hike through their olive groves and vineyards on the surrounding hillsides. Then we enjoyed an olive oil tasting and wine tasting. Their Rose was the best best we've had on our two week tour of france. (Translated by Google) We stopped by chance. The welcome was warm. The only remaining pitches were muddy. The price is expensive, especially the more products we bought. And since it's along the main road, it's quite noisy. On the other hand, there is a very nice walk to take on the estate.

Bakery
During my recent travels in Nyons, I stumbled upon the delightful Marie Blachère Boulangerie Sandwicherie Tarterie. This charming bakery truly impressed me with its flaky, buttery croissants that were perfectly layered and crispy. The variety of bread available was equally remarkable, showcasing a fresh take on traditional French baking. Marie Blachère has certainly redefined the art of baking in France, elevating an already exceptional craft to new heights!
Best boulangerie we tried on vacation in Nyons. Crispy, layered, buttery croissants and excellent selection of bread 👌

It is a well known franchise, Marie Blachere provides an assortment of bread, pastries and other salty treats. If you're in Nyons there are others "boulangerie" to try, but Marie Blachere do not disappoint.
