Le Brise Lames is a popular restaurant located in Roscoff, known for its excellent steaks and friendly service. Visitors have praised the perfectly cooked steaks and the extensive wine selection. The restaurant can get quite busy, so making a reservation in advance is recommended. The staff are knowledgeable about both the food and wine offerings, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
The perfect way to end our day! After exploring around the area we ended in Roscoff for dinner. We made a last minute reservation the night before and thank goodness we did because it was full! Extremely friendly server. Super knowledgeable about the wine and food. Although the service is not that fast so do expect to spend at least 2 hours here. There are only a couple people running the whole place, it's quite impressive! We had entree, plat and dessert. The tarte and pâte maison were delicious, followed by the canard and lobster "bisque". Honestly the best soup I've ever had! Finished with a fresh fruit dessert. Would highly recommend as everything was super delicious!

Relaxed and excellent value for the high standard of food and presentation. Creative dishes and pleasant service. Menu's in French without any translation and little English spoken so be prepared. Well worth a visit. We will return.

Food was good, well presented and fresh. Service was very good considering there was only the front of house manager serving the whole restaurant, which was quite busy. Would happily return.

We had a very kind waiter, the food quality was excellent and the overal diner feeling was very great! I would love to return here. The cheese platter is somewhat not up to par with the rest of the dishes

Simply stunning food. The balance of flavours, the quality of ingredients, the care in the beautiful presentation all just add to the fabulous cooking. Nowhere in England could match this for value, and not many for quality.

Excellent dinner: As a group of five we sampled almost the entire, somewhat limited and still diverse menu. Everybody was extremely happy with his selection and would recommend the restaurant without hesitating.

The Roscoff lighthouse, a significant historical monument, emits a singular extended pulse followed by two brief signals. Situated in a picturesque harbor, this charming locale boasts traditional fishing vessels that still operate to this day (as of summer 2021). Noteworthy are the grand residences in close proximity and the notable N-D de Croaz Batz. After disembarking from the ferry, one can enjoy a tranquil moment with breakfast in this delightful spot.
Tall square lighthouse painted white on the front only is a landmark for seafarers. A local told me you can go up it for views of Roscoff town.

Our last evening in Roscoff we were recommended this restaurant by another couple staying in our hotel. We booked a table for early evening. The dishes that kept coming out of the kitchen were beautifully presented. The waiting staff knowledgeable and entertaining. Dishes for me as a Coeliac were adapted safely, and were delicious. Sometimes, it's good if you don't get what you want. Last week, our family were still in Brittany. The other day, my wife and kids went to see The Océanopolis in Brest. Dogs were not allowed there and so I decided to visit Roscoff with Bennie, our dog instead (when know Timmy the dog from the Famous Five tv series, you very much get the picture of Bennie). I arrived in Roscoff around lunch time. My intention was to eat at a Crêperie. Unfortunaely, all the Crêperies near the old port were packed, so I looked along the quay. Some 400 metres away, I recognized a white building with the words "Brasserie" (brewery) in its name. A brasserie is always a good sign in my book, and so we headed for it. When I came nearer, I read the full name "Brasserie les Alizés". The day was hot and the sky was very blue, so I asked a friendly waitress for a table outside under the awning. The waitress offered Bennie and me a shady table. She returned with the menu (for me) and a bowl with water (for Bennie). I went for the 3 course menu "Entre terre et mer": * Starter: le Pressé d'Artichaut (with salmon and cream) * Main: Poisson du jour (Filet du Merlu, Fish of the day: hake) * Desert: Tiramisu de fraises (Tiramisu with strawberries) All three dishes were delicious. Full stop. The service was immaculate. I can’t remember the last time I had nothing to complain about. Next to me sat a French family. Their kids were interested in Bennie and we talked about where I came from (around Frankfurt) and where they came from (southern Brittany). All very relaxed and friendly-like. When I paid later and walked off, I did not regret that I missed out the crêpes and galettes this time. So yes, sometimes, it's good if you don't get what you want.

The Hôtel Brittany & Spa is an elegant establishment located opposite the beach. It combines the charm of a traditional Breton manor house with contemporary elements. Known for its exceptional breakfast, this hotel also provides a Marine Spa with various rejuvenating treatments.
Thank you for our wonderful stay in July! Beautiful room with outstanding views, a lovely walk into town, and an unforgettable dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant. The wine and food pairings were exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

As they reached out. I have zero emails from them. This is honestly a nicer Hilton. I’ve been all over the world and the service, etc is nothing special. I’m very disappointed in my experience here. Normally for a Relais hotel, they reach out to you to let you know things get booked up, nobody reached out prior to my stay. This is a small hotel and apparently it’s a bank holiday for France (something every other Relais hotel I’ve stayed at would have reached out). Also, it would not take long to reach out. I’ve had a very challenging travel experience (over 48 hours delayed) and was looking forward to being here. Come to find out, I can’t get reservations at the restaurant nor spa. I 100% would have canceled had I known. When asked it looks like there are just as many outside as hotel guests. This shows me that this hotel doesn’t value their guests. I love Relais hotels and specifically booked it for this. But this is money wasted and down the drain. And now I have a bad taste in my mouth for Brittany. Also, with a sign on my door, staff came right in unapologetically. I was shocked. And keep in mind, no coffee machine in the room (I travel weekly and haven’t seen this before). However! 5 stars time and time again for the food and beverage manager. He has quite honestly been amazing and has gone above and beyond. However, when I told them when I checked in that I would have canceled my trip if I couldn’t visit the restaurant, they convinced me to stay and said I could eat the same menu at the bar the next night. That was not true. I had the bar menu and not the experience. I feel deceived and I honestly wish I would have canceled (that they would have been upfront). I would never stay here again. Also, the front staff are extremely rude.

We had the bargain basement rooms not like you see on their web site. You could not get food during the day and the evening prices were through the roof. Swimming pool was nice but massage treatments were wishy washy

Smelly bathrooms (exposed draining and covered up with cheap products) mould on the walls, water does not go down the drain in the sink, chipped paint in the bedrooms, smelly old stained sheets, tiny room overlooking the parking lot. Really really outdated situation, so shocked it has not been updated. Staff however were adorable and very accommodating.

Attentive staff, nice rooms and a great view from the bar. The food is also delicious. Would definitely recommend to stay here.
Orsolya B — Google review
Le Brittany is a beautiful and well appointed hotel with helpful and highly professional staff. And a fabulous restaurant! The spacious dining room strikes a perfect balance between grand and intimate. Remarkably, it achieves comfort and haute cuisine in a rugged setting of elemental nature. At your table, you are at the height of civilisation while, just the other side of the panoramic window, sea waves are breaking against coastal rocks. The chef combines traditional haute cuisine with more adventurous mini dishes in between courses. Currently, there's something of a Japanese theme going on. It's all fabulous. The wine list is extensive but not ludicrous. There's a fine selection of Bordeaux and Burgundy and the prices, for a restaurant of this quality, are by no means excessive. To go with my veal, I had an excellent Santenay served, of course, at the perfect temperature. The staff are happy in the way people are when they know they're doing a very good job. A special mention has to go to Jerome, the Maître de Maison. He clearly loves his work and he sets the tone for the other members of staff. My wife and I have had the privilege of dining in various Michelin-star restaurants in France, England and Switzerland. Our favourite is Le Brittany.

C'est ici, a French restaurant with an idyllic waterside setting, offers an impressive array of beers and wines. The menu features a delightful range of regional specialties and traditional dishes. Situated right by the bustling marina, it is conveniently located just a minute away from the ferry port and five minutes from the charming town of Roscoff. “All tables are reserved for lunch”. It’s 12.20 now and only 4 tables are occupied. What has become of French hospitality? Reserving a table is as easy as cancelling that reservation or simply not showing up. Walking over two hours to this place is not so easily undone. Brasserie Hune next door is the same story.😰

Fantastic location, great beers and interesting wines, wonderful regional and traditional food all in the perfect waterside location. Right on the busy marina but really easy access from the ferry port (1 minute) and the beautiful town of Roscoff (5 minutes).

Limited menu and not good value. A disappointment as it is a good location. The Poulet du Dimanche was a tough greasy bird with equally greasy vegetables and poor value at €17. We shall find somewhere better for our pre-ferry meal next time.

We have used this resturant before on previous visits to marina by boat and had an enjoyable meals. It has now changed hands since the last time we were here, there wasnt any mussels on the menu, no set meals to choose. I had the monk fish which consisted of 5 small pieces in a bland sauce, with onions and buck wheat which didnt take long to eat and was €26! The fish was over cooked and my husband had the steak hache which was cremated. We were offered no bread or water. We had 1 sweet & 2 drinks each and it was €70. The other bar in the row had closed down since we were last here. The next visit we will walk into town and eat instead.

Friendly people, lovely ambience, armchairs, small library (of mostly cook books but including John Julius Norwich's latest book published this year "A History of France from Gaul to De Gaul" donated by a smitten visiting yachtsman), many back numbers of Le In. The food looks good and reasonably priced though I did not try it myself.

Excellent wine recommendation ... we had 2 burgers and a 450g entrecote ... neither the burgers nor the entrecôte were cooked to our orders ... fries were very soggy ... not what to expect from a 19€ burger ... The 40€ 450g entrecote was not more than 250 g at best ... when we complained, they took back the plates, redid the same (!) meat and came back with it ... quite disappointing except for the wine ... wonderful view to the marina, though, and nice interior design

We had a brilliant stay! The staff are super lovely and accommodated our early arrival, keeping our luggage etc. The hotel is right next to the sea so you can swim and watch the sunset. It’s a super quick and easy walk into Roscoff. The spa was very clean and quiet on week days and towels / dressing gown provided. Dinner was lovely and very good value. It’s not as shiny and new as other resorts but that doesn’t effect that fact that it is really comfortable, clean with great staff. Very relaxing staff by the sea. Would recommend / return.

This place has parking some distance from the main entrance BUT you can pull in and drop off before going through the one way system to park the car - it would have been nice to know this in advance! The room was OK but it was near the kitchen and we had a signifcant smell of cooking most of the time we were there. There is a spa which was nice although they do seem to close the outdoor hot tubs quite early. My overall rating would be not great but not bad either.

This hotel and spa is magnificent! The views are perfect, the spa facilities are incredible, the salt water pool is one of my favorites, and the outdoor hot tubs with views across the bay! Get a sea view room, you won't regret it, although the entire location is gorgeous, not even 30 seconds out if the hotel is the most beautiful beach! I just tried the spa one time and the last time - it’s really a pity that such a famous place the origin of Thalasso is quite rundown - maybe it used to be the state of the art hundred years ago but not today anymore-definitely need the refurbishing and price adjustment far too expensive for what it offers compared to what’s available nowadays somewhere else - unhygienic sauna, wood peeling off - you only get one towel and even after asking what about the second one for the sauna just smiling and saying no only one - before entry you have to purchase a bonnet (obligatory but money don’t wear it) and a special shorts (€50 extra) no idea why normal things are not allowed - it’s just a money trip so the two stars are for the location and the original seawater - 29€ is far too much - also in the hanam nothing to clean your seat with a water hose - you have to sit in the sweat of others… mini lockers… as I said hundred years ago, maybe… prices for individual therapies insane, all above hundred euro for little things - so I didn’t do it

Plage de Saint-Luc is a spacious beach located just a short distance from the city center, making it easily accessible on foot. Discover the fascinating history of Roscoff's onion trade with Britain at Maison des Johnnies et de l'Oignon. This museum offers insights into the Onion Johnnies, who were intrepid onion sellers known for their trade. The museum provides English information and is a quick but informative visit. After exploring the museum, visitors can enjoy boutiques and galleries in central Roscoff or engage in outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, swimming, sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing.

This is a very interesting museum all about the history of the Roscoff Onion and the Johnny l'ognions of France. English information is available. Don't expect to be here long! We were here for just under an hour. There are toilets but no cafe (not needed as there are so many eateries in Roscoff). Adults entry fee €5, students entry fee €3 and children aged 10 and under are free (Aug 2023). I liked it because I'm interested in the history of places we visit, but just don't expect to fill your day here!

Rip-off! Small display, just 2 rooms. Much material on floor rather than on walls. Video display not working. Save your money, unless you speak French and can understand the guided tour.
Chris W — Google review
Interesting little museum. English information booklet they gave us was very good. Didn't take long to take it all in. Suggestion... A little gift of a single Roscoff onion with each ticket purchased would be a really quirky USP! One minor issue: no soap in the toilets and after asking still no soap!

(Translated by Google) One positive point: the receptionist is very kind. Other than that, this museum is just awful and incomplete: there are two meager rooms dueling, each with texts hanging on it. Audio-guide phones are scattered all over the place—er, sorry, MP3 players placed on wooden boards—and accessing the audio tracks is a real obstacle course, and even if you do manage it, which is no easy feat, you still have to listen to what is painfully explained. For 5 euros admission, I absolutely do not recommend it; the entire tour lasts a maximum of half an hour. And what's more, you can forget about the onion tasting promised on the website. This museum is incomplete, deceptive, and very poorly organized.

The English-speaking staff members are noted for their friendliness and extensive knowledge of the area. Overall, visitors have expressed gratitude for the valuable assistance received at the Roscoff Tourism Office.
My experience with the tourist offices of Brittany in general was always a pleasant and helpful one. Most of the employees are fairly bi lingual which was helpful to me as a limited French speaker.... I am planning on improving my French in the near future though. 😊 Just a word of advice to those downloading French apps to purchase French bus tickets or ask information re travel by bus at tourist offices in general...... I found it practically impossible to pre pay for a local bus journey online, but with train tickets its straight forward... The local buses are clean, efficient and extremely well priced... It cost me less than €5 to travel a 2.5 hour journey from Lannion to Roscoff... The first stage of the ride to Morlaix the bus was only 10% full, the second stage from Morlaix to Roscoff was 95% full.... It was no problem purchasing tickets as I stepped on the bus... Great scenery along the way too.

Eglise Notre-Dame de Croaz-Batz is a 16th-century church located in the charming town of Roscoff. Visitors can explore its narrow picturesque streets and admire the curious-looking gargoyles, canons, and nautical symbols carved into the church's exterior. A French guide named Eric provides insightful commentary as visitors take in the historical and architectural significance of this beautiful landmark.
Large church in the centre of town with a most unusual steeple. Around the church are information boards about the carvings in the church walls and how the steeple was built.

I came here while escorting my friend named Crawford. I was amazed at the beauty and architecture of the church. The only complain was that there was a person in the entrance that refused to let me in for a long time.
Jon S — Google review
Visted this church after reciving a note from a french guy. It was really gloomy, a lot of odd people about too. Most weren't too friendly, Grabbing, trying to eat me, and so on. It was odd. If you get past all that than its a good building. If you're visiting here, only thing I recommend is to never leave the boat at the docks. Anyways all in all i thought it was okay. French people do seem odd these days though....
Cloudygeneral1691 — Google review
Me and the fellow marines of the USS Constitution were sent here to pick up our ambassador to France from the blight, some frenchman thought it would be funny to lock us out of this church so our souls get harvested by those vampires, luckily we got in last second and took his life instead, once we took care of him we went inside the church and found several englishmen tied inside, they told us he was in one of the farmhouses, so our journey was a long and bloody one. Aside from vampires this town is very neat, especially this church 😁😁
Cand1sh — Google review
This was a great experience! Me and my friends arrived at 6, and we were going to enter but the people running the church closed in on us and didn't let us in. Thankfully the kind grey locals outside were very generous with their barrels and axes, and helped us get inside. Anyways we killed the French soldier who didn't let us in and met our friend Crawford (he died 💔) Overall, it was a great experience if it weren't for the fact that I was the only one who got the flight back home because all my friends got mauled by the other less friendly locals and even drowned. It's OK I guess

I went here, because i was trying to find a man named "Crawford" with my friends. One soldier inside the church refused to let us in and summoned vampires on us. Please kindly fire that soldier for attempting to murder us with vampires

Came here because my friend, very nice guy by the way, went on a job trip as a diplomat and got lost in the city. On my way to pick him up me and the boys stumbled upon the church, very beautiful and amazing place. One thing, be careful when you go there because there sometimes are crazy people inside blocking the entrance so you'll have to fight the horde of zombies that may come. 90% recommended, very nice.

La Moule Au Pot is a charming restaurant in Roscoff that offers a warm and inviting ambiance. The staff is friendly and accommodating, even if you have limited French language skills. The food is amazing, especially the moules frites, which are highly recommended. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and fast service, with generous portions for starters and a variety of menu options beyond just moules. Additionally, the wine menu offers tasty selections at good prices.
Great restaurant and fast service of delicious moule frites. There are many different sauce options. The moule were fresh and well seasoned. Love going back here with friends and family. Booking in advance is recommended. Will definitely come back next summer!

The best meal i have had in some time! Im solo camping, so my meal cost is for one and not shared (which would bring the price down) Starters were 6 scallops & 6 oysters. Being a bit greedy, i know, but there was too much glorious food on the menu. Amazing fresh Brittany oysters as usual, but the star of the show was the scallops. Butter, herb, and garlic. Stunning!!! Then, onto the muscles. You might think I'm over egging the pudding here, but once again, the best muscles I've ever eaten. Truly. They have many options, but I went for muscles with Lardons. Im gonna cook these at home. They need to be a permanent fixture on my home menu. Im not finished yet! I had the Breton cake with plums and salted caramel sauce to round it all off. I had a superb bottle of white wine to go with it all and a glass of Get 27 as a finishing touch. The meal felt decadent, rich, and filling. The young ladies serving were full of smiles and attentive, speaking good English. Im in Roscoff for two more nights. Im coming back for my last night. It's really really that good. Thank you, Moule Au Pot!

We have been wanting to try this restaurant since coming to Roscoff and finally had the chance last night. It was definitely worth the wait! Ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff were all friendly and nice. I only brought a very limited supply of French words (mainly Bonjour and Merci but all said with a smile) and they all smiled back at me as I tried to communicate. Food was amazing! My husband and I always have moules frites whenever we visit France and I must say this restaurant was one of our favourite ever! We would definitely come back whenever we are in Roscoff.

We had a great meal at this unpretentious restaurant which produces honest, uncomplicated meals using fresh local ingredients. We shared a platter of smoked salmon, seaweed, salmon pate, onion confit, and pork all of which were super tasty. My main course of dorade with mussels was excellent as was my husband's melt in the mouth pork. Servings are as generous as the waitresses were charming. Also, there were a couple of local solo female diners who evidently felt very comfortable there. Do pay them a visit as they are off the beaten tourist trap.

So why a three, well I only ask for a few things and go by that. It needs to have, if offer a good breakfast, which it wasn't bad. Hot water/good shower, which it was. Comfortable bed, again which it was. A clean room, not realy, coukd do a lot better. WiFi, again never got it to work and friendly staff, 🤔. It may be because I am English, I don't know, it wasn't great. Its an old building but there is a vast amount of room for improvement in my opinion. Sorry no images, just get inspired. If you want a cheap room, then fill your boots. Anything else then not for you.

Had lunch here in July, very arrogant owner, telling us everything is prepared on the premises and very fresh. Wife ordered scallops which were off, I could also taste ammonia. My wife informed him very quietly of the problem, and instead of apologising he insisted they were fresh, imported from Scotland “6 days ago”. Ha ha, The definition of fresh to me is “no more than 1 day old”. He then zeroed the bill, threw it at us and told us to leave, and that he ran the place not for money, but for the love of cooking.

Lovely little 'Bistro' style restaurant. Simple, bijou, a jewel! - Loved the pizza one of the best I've ever had for my tastes. Beautiful super thin and crispy, with a touch of fire burnt edge, and tasty toppings. For me this is a must revisit, but please keep it quiet!

Garden
Georges Delaselle Garden is a serene and expansive garden located on the end of a small island. It features a wide variety of flora and plant species from five continents, creating a beautiful and exotic landscape. The garden is situated on the site of a prehistoric burial ground, adding to its unique charm. Visitors can enjoy the lush greenery, including palm trees, cactuses, and other exotic plants that thrive in this idyllic spot.
A nice garden of exotic plant brings an interesting contrast to the landscape of Île Batz

Beautiful garden with amazing views. A must visit if on Ile de Batz.

Wonderful terrain with museum - about the man behind, Georges Delaselle, plant sketches and changing exhibitions - sunken garden, wonderful views. - Quiz and corner for kids - mostly accessible for wheelchair/walker/stroller, wheelchair toilet in the museum. - Cosy café right next to the museum with delicious home made local products.

Beautiful gardens in idyllic spot It is on the site of a prehistoric burial ground and it's easy to see why the prehistoric people's chose such a memorable location to bury their dead. A definite must see for people who enjoy plants and islands We visit every time we go to Roscoff It's easy to access on foot or bike from the ferry

Such a variety of plants, shrubs, trees and flowers. Magnificent place. Hope it grows back quickly to be even better
Jean-François K — Google review
If you are into flowers, plants, trees and happen to be visiting the Batz island, stop by and enjoy the visit, you'll see lots of things, from palm trees to cactuses, all nicely located in some sort of exotic garden just by the beach... you'll feel like somewhere else !
Christophe P — Google review
Nice, tropical garden on the end of an small island. The previous owner did great planting it all, and the staff that is now taking care of the place keeps working on the nice base laid for them. Only culprit was that we got lost at some point and couldn't find or follow the arrows on the path (so we just continued our visit lemming style).

Boat tour agency
Les Vedettes de l'Ile de Batz offer comfortable and clean boats with welcoming staff. The round trip to the island provides a pleasant experience, especially when the weather is good with calm seas and sunshine. The organization of boarding and disembarking is well-managed, ensuring assistance for those in need. However, it's advisable to consider the tides for a smoother experience, particularly for passengers with reduced mobility.

Did what it said on the tin. Quick and efficient trip over. Long walk at high tide, not a criticism but just be prepared for it and arrive a little earlier.

Disappointing. We went on the 2 hour boattrip.. A boat full of tourists... half of them from Germany, England, and the Netherlands... and all the information in too loud and unclear French. Record a tape for three languages and teach the tourists something too, that would help.. Missed opportunity for this company. Toilets locked too. We would never recommend this trip to anyone other than the French. Want to do something absolutely free and beautiful around this area? Visit and walk around the very tip of Perharidy. Its magical!

Creperie
Les Amours Jaunes is a delightful creperie with a warm and inviting ambiance. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is simply delectable. Their menu offers a unique variety of both savory and sweet crepes, all made with organic ingredients. The galettes are particularly outstanding, featuring unusual combinations that stand out from other creperies. The service is efficient despite the busy atmosphere, ensuring that you won't have to wait long for your meal.
Eaten here several times. The galettes are delicious, the choices available are quite unlike the usual combinations found in other creperies. All the crepe bases are organic. The galette Léonarde is my favourite.

Lovely food, really friendly staff. Crepe Suzette was so good we had 2 each and that was after Entrecote and Chicken. Organic produce and wine was very welcome. Nice easy going atmosphere. We'll definitely stop here again next visit. Merci Beaucoup!
Pig C — Google review
Absolutely delicious galettes, with an interesting selection of both savory and sweet crepes. The food came very quickly and the presentation was nice. Charming and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Ann W — Google review
One of the best creperies in Roscoff to my opinion. We have an apartment in the city and we have dinner at Les Amours Jaunes everytime we come. Crepes are great, there's a lot of choice but if you prefer having fries, salad, some seafood, it is good too. They serve very basic crepes (eggs, ham and cheese which is perfect for kids for example) but also some more elaborated, with typical products from the area (oignon rosé, artichoke, andouille de Guéméné, sausage from Ile de Batz). Sweet crepes are great too and one of the reason we love that place (compared to the Creperie de La Poste, that serves amazing crepes too) is that there's only one service and not 2, which means waiters aren't in a rush and let you the time to eat, choose from the menu and talk.

The bistro Les Bricoles offers delectable cuisine with superb flavors and service. The lotte and pintade dishes are exceptionally tasty, cooked to perfection, and beautifully arranged on the plate. The desserts, particularly the 'Choco tonka,' are heavenly creations that leave a lasting impression. This establishment's food is incredibly delicious, prepared with great care and attention to detail. With outstanding taste and service, Les Bricoles consistently delivers ridiculously amazing meals that are made with love.
Super well made and presented food. Fish was excellent. Nice cidre to drink. Difficult to get a table, but our hostess at La Brise very kindly arranged it for us

We noticed the weekly menu earlier and had said we'd return. Fortunately we arrived at midday otherwise we would not have got a table. The menu was as delicious as it sounded, the staff were very friendly and it was reasonably priced.

Nice location near the port, service was good, food was excellent. One small bémol was that there’s only one toilet for both sexes. Apart from that I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our first evening in Roscoff looking for somewhere to eat. Les Bricoles did not disappoint. We were very lucky as hadn’t booked, they found a table for the four of us. On explaining I was Coeliac the waitress did not hesitate to indicate a number of dishes completely safe for me to choose from for that evening. We all enjoyed a variety of dishes and accompanied by delicious wines. Thank you for a lovely evening x

Bar
Nestled conveniently near the boat dock from Île de Batz and along the charming old port of Roscoff, Crêperie Pizzeria l'Estacade is a delightful spot that has been serving up delicious crepes and galettes for years. This café-bar offers a warm atmosphere where you can enjoy cider and coffee in the afternoon while soaking in the vibrant surroundings. The service here is consistently friendly and efficient, making it an ideal place to unwind.
The server was really friendly, helped us the best he could and was great. The Atmos was in a great style clean area, a view to behold from the inside through the windows, friendly and a fair amount of tourists as well. The tables and chairs of the place were in Great condition and the place looked to be in great shape. Now for the food, very typical of me to order the bacon burger, cooked medium, with fries and salad. The burger was amazing, the beef properly seasoned and cooked to perfection, the add-ons with real melted cheddar cheese, and fresh veg. Each bite was a taste of heaven on a fresh bun. My wife got the vegetarian pizza, and it looked full for how it was made on a real thin crust, definitely each bite has an explosion of fresh flavors. Would highly recommend this place any day for anyone who passes by, they have a great variety of food and the employees are nice and friendly, the food just melts in your mouth.

My family had a bite to eat before we boarded the ferry back to Ireland☘️. It felt touristy here but great place to people watch. My husband and I both ordered the Moules frites with chorizo sauce at €17. They were very good. The children had the 2 course children's menu for €12 each. They had a choice of ham and cheese galette, ham and cheese pizza or burger and chips with scoop of icecream for dessert. They opted for pizza🍕. We had water and glass of Muscadet for €5. Fast service but staff could be friendlier especially behind the bar where you pay. Recommended for a quick bite but other options in Roscoff also.

We planned to visit a different place nearby, but we where told, that the kitchen was still closed. As we had to catch the ferry to cork, we couldn't wait. Looking for an alternative we found this place, an never regtetted it. We got a lovely welcome, and although it was early times we could order our food. The big surprise, I got the best pizza I had in a long long time ( very authentic). Great Experience at the end of our holiday 😄
Gudrun C — Google review
Lovely little spot with a great ambience. Really good meat, pizza and galettes. Super speedy service.
Ranjana C — Google review
It is basically one of the first cafés/bars you see when leaving the boat from the ile de Batz, or when walking through the old port of Roscoff. Since many years, we come here for crepes and galettes in the afternoon, cidre and coffee. Service was always friendly and prompt, the dishes were nice (not much to be failed when making a crepe). A few days ago, we went there for moules et frites, with chorizo and blue cheese sauce. Again, the food was fresh and tasty, the service quick and friendly. It is not a restaurant, rather a bistro or bar, where you drink and can also eat simple dishes, so the general tone is easy going, maybe a bit loud, but always direct and friendly.
Ar G — Google review
Great place to eat before the boat home, lovely food.
Paul C — Google review
My husband and I visited as a quick stop before the ferry, just after a local crepe before we leave France after a lovely 2 weeks. I’m sorry to say despite advertising crepes, and us wanting one each with drinks, we were rudely turned away at our table when trying to order them. We were told they are a restaurant and we cannot order without ordering pizza etc (quite rudely) before the waiter just walked away from our table, causing us to get up and leave. No restaurant to my knowledge turns away paying customers who just want something a bit sweeter rather than savoury. Thank you for a not so lovely parting memory for France.
Libby W — Google review
My moules were lovely. My wife's galette we think was reheated as it was glued to the plate. The flavours of its topping were good though. Our issue was the service which was poor. The staff were unfriendly and kept forgetting stuff. The best bit was when we were leaving and my wife accidentally tripped over the waiters dangling leg as he balanced on the other leg to reach across the table and then he had a go at her....it was clearly his fault as he pulled his leg up and was accidental but for him to have a go at her was unnecessary and unforgivable. There are better places to spend your money in Roscoff

Loved this place and what an experience. It was like being in a French noir film. A great opportunity to practice the language which they really appreciate and the food was pure classic French cuisine. Perfect. The waitress and owner were very nice and also let us sample some free boozy ice cream which they were working on. Will defo go there again if in Roscoff and would recommend it completely.

Not just the best in Bretagne but the best Kouign-amann in France. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside served with a caramel sauce and ice cream. Leave room for the Queen and mother of all puds! And a huge Merci to Matteo in the kitchen. Parfait. Last meal of this French trip...go on, spoil yourselves.

A family owned restaurant where seafood is prepared with due skills. Great care about customers. The style is direct, honest and simple. Worth pointing out some food needs to be requested in advance.

Excellent restaurant serving local seafood. No burgers or poke bowls here, just tasty dishes prepared with love. Scallops with wild mushrooms and squid-ink pasta were outstanding. So was the pear Tatin with matching sorbet.
Pascal G — Google review
We’ve had many very good meals during our 3 week trip, but this was the best. Yes, the owner is a bit gruff, but just smile and he will melt into a rather genuine and super nice person. We are American and if we can make him smile, anyone can:). We started with the fois gras and house smoked fish. The owners smokes the fish himself and they are truly delicious. The fois gras also comes smoked, it is remarkably unique and delicious. For mains, we had lamb shanks and choucroute poissons. The lamb was accompanied by a roasted potato gratinée and au jus sauce. Décadent and superb. The choucroute is not something we’ve had with fish. It was a transformational dish: complex and unique. We loved both. Dessert was another homemade creation. The amman paired with salted caramel and caramel ice-cream was worth our ever expanding waistline. Just go and enjoy a truly fantastic evening.
Pat D — Google review
Great lunch with mussels, good value for money. Perhaps I am spoilt with larger Zeeland mussels, yet Bretagne mussels appear to be smaller. The upside is that you need longer to eat them, as you have more small ones in the same pot..... enjoy a slow lunch! 😉
Lambert O — Google review
I just ate at this "google review top rated" place. We were hoping for a top notch meal before our ferry home and left totally dejected . Food; Foie gras was the worst and smallest I've ever had. Bread was rock hard - I ate one piece in fear of my teeth breaking. We asked for half bottle of wine which was unavailable. OK we'll have a glass instead, how much is a glass? 4 or 5 euros was the answer... but they charged 8 euros each on the bill, and reduced it to 6.5 when we questioned it. The lanb shank came dry, with no seasoning/herbs/flavour with what can only be described as a side egg cup of lamb water. The scallops with black pasta arrived totally cold, and re-arrived five minutes later after being microwaved... which made the scallops tough and hard. I'm still picking the scallops out of my teeth which is a new experience for me. AVOID AND DO NOT BELEIVE THE OVERALL GOOGLE RATING FOR THIS PLACE. WORST €87 I EVER SPENT.
Tim M — Google review
We had a superb meal here last night. The smoked fish starter and chacroute de la mer main course were absolutely delicious and I am not normally a fan of moules. Large portions but we just managed to squeeze in a chocolate fondant desert with home made ice cream. The fish was smoked in house that day. Will definitely return. Its a small restaurant and I would definitely book as people were turned away and wasn't peak season.

Valley Pratmeur in Brittany offers a unique and cozy stay with its quirky glamping options and elegant rooms. The resort, set on 25 hectares, provides a warm B&B experience along with amenities like a pool and sauna. The highlight of the complex is the bubble in the air accommodation, allowing guests to spend a night under the stars without worrying about being cold. Other unusual accommodations include tree houses, lodges, trailers, and a gite.
We slept one night in tree house Quistinid and one night in the bubble tent. Both were wonderful experiences. The tree house is cozy and comfortable, with a covered deck that has a nice view down the hillside. The bubble tent is on a platform at the level of the tree tops, with a covered sitting area. The bed is inside the tent, which is transparent, so it really feels like sleeping in the forest. Our only minor complaint is that the tent was covered in bird poo, but we still enjoyed it. The valley is beautiful and nice to walk around, they have animals like donkeys and alpacas, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We were impressed; everything was well thought out, right down to the hot drink accompanied by a small chocolate 🍫. The breakfasts are also very generous. The staff is very pleasant and available to assist us with any questions. We even offered to bring forward the lunch basket drop-off time. We had a private session in the superb swimming pool and sauna. A magical place with a breathtaking architectural renovation. The park is magnificent and very intriguing, with all the different cabins to discover. The animals are happy there: alpacas and donkeys line the entrance to the hamlet. The children's enjoyment is also provided, with a playground with perched nets. I recommend this property. And I think I'll give it as a gift and definitely come back because my husband brought his road bike and, frankly, he really enjoyed the climbs around Quistinic. Go there with your eyes closed.

(Translated by Google) A one-night stay for my birthday in the heart of the trees was just perfect. We stayed in the pod, exceptionally peaceful. Everything was perfect, from the private jacuzzi, to an excellent and hearty evening meal, a delicious breakfast, and finally, an hour in the private pool and sauna. The team is fantastic. I recommend it for a quiet, timeless moment. We'll definitely be back. Looking forward to trying out the other unusual accommodations.

(Translated by Google) A superb treehouse experience in the Pratmeur Valley. Guaranteed disconnection in our lovely wooden cabin. The team is lovely and discreet, each cabin is well-seated within the grounds, and the self-guided activities offered allowed us to stay a while the next day (the treasure hunt is well-designed and makes for a lovely walk). Special mention goes to the breakfast, which you can take up high. We had a wonderful night with the family.

Had dinner here last night and really enjoyed it. The staff were excellent, very friendly and really looked after us. They have a small but tasty menu and can do children’s portions of lots of dishes- worth stopping at this restaurant, or if you know you will be in the area make a reservation in advance as it was so busy the first night we arrived we couldn’t get in! Overall very tasty and worth visiting

Amazing food with a superb host who made our family feel really welcomed. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and it was no surprise it quickly filled up after our early arrival. Book ahead if possible.
