Roland Garros Stadium, built in 1928, is famous for hosting the French Open Grand Slam tournament. Situated in the Bois de Boulogne area, it has a rich sporting history and is part of the city's sports circuit. The stadium has witnessed iconic moments in tennis history, including Rafael Nadal's first tournament win at just 19 years old and the classic battle between Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova in the 1985 final.
I am a huge fan of Rafa and was looking forward to visiting the stadium. The guided tour went through the press room, players' lockers, and both the courts. The guided tour ended at Rafa's museum, which was the highlight of the entire tour. It was amazing to look at the statue and recollect all the amazing yrs that Rafa won the French open (14 times). I would highly recommend the tour to everyone. We absolutely loved it

Visiting Roland Garros for the Paris Major padel semi-final and final was a refreshing twist on tradition. Seeing the legendary clay court repurposed for padel added a modern flair to a historic venue, and the atmosphere was lively despite the rain. ✅ What Worked Well - Rain Protection: The stadium’s cover was a lifesaver. Despite the weather, we stayed completely dry and comfortable, which speaks volumes about the venue’s thoughtful design. - Efficient Interior Access: Once inside, moving around was seamless. The layout was intuitive, and getting to our seats was hassle-free. - Solid Infrastructure: Roland Garros lives up to its reputation—well-built, clean, and professionally maintained. - Entertainment Setup: The sound system delivered crisp, immersive audio that elevated the match experience. ⚠️ Areas for Improvement - Entrance Bottlenecks: Entry was slow and frustrating. A single access point led to long queues and unnecessary delays. Two separate entrances would have made a big difference. - Limited Screen Visibility: More screens throughout the venue would have helped spectators stay engaged, especially those seated farther from the court. 🌟 Final Thoughts Despite the hiccups at the entrance, the overall experience was memorable. The stadium’s adaptability, comfort, and ambiance stood out. I’d love to return for a classic tennis match and see the clay court in its full glory.

Second time at Roland Garros, this time for the opening week. It's such a joy to see so many different players fighting for their way into the main draw. So many talented players to watch both men and women. There are many water fountains next to the toilet and you can also refill your bottle in the toilet. Be mindful of the check bag rules, this year the e-tickets are super convenient and I believe it helps to prevent the fraud and tickets resell at an expensive rate. The weather was nice for the 2 first days, today it's still playable for the players. Would definitely recommend, you can see the player warming up next to court 14. Lots of shops, boutique corners to try different things! Make sure to book your ticket in advance ✌️

Incredible experience… We bought a ticket for a night session and it was great. Even though the game was good, the whole experience made it sooo much better. Chilling at the grass, having a drink and strolling around the area was great
Buse C — Google review
But because we love tennis! We love Rafa Nadal! So we had to visit and go shopping at Roland Garros store. Too bad it wasn't the French Open. We had felt the vibe!
Anne C — Google review
The moment you see it from the entrance you'll be amazed by the size of Roland Garros. I went there as part of guided tour. Cost 19 EUR. Entrance from gate 30 for this tour. They'll explain about the stadium, walk around, show you the players locker rooms and sit in stands of Philippe-Chatrier. There is a dedicated gallery for Raphael Nadal.
Daniel T — Google review
Roland-Garros is an incredible place to watch live tennis—seeing the matches in person is an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is electric and the level of play is amazing. However, the main downside is the heavy crowding across the entire complex, which makes it hard to move around between courts, shops, and food areas. Food and drinks are quite expensive, and public transport to the venue is somewhat limited during the tournament. Still, it’s a great experience overall, and I’d absolutely recommend it to any tennis fan.
Nemanja G — Google review
Went for the 2025 French Open - atmosphere was great and we got to see Djokovic on the main court. Prices for food and drinks are similar to other large sporting events - too much but ok for a special occasion. We went on the evening that PSG won the Champions League so left the relative calm of the tennis into the wild celebrations/fireworks in the streets - an experience all round!!

The "Fresque de la Montgolfière" is a stunning mural that captivates with its vibrant depiction of a hot air balloon soaring over a park. Nestled between buildings, the recess provides an ideal vantage point to appreciate the artwork's depth and detail. This cleverly designed blind facade transforms an ordinary space into an extraordinary visual experience, inviting onlookers to pause and admire its charm.
(Translated by Google) Very pretty fresco. With the recess between the buildings, we have enough depth to admire it from a sufficient perspective. This blind facade is very well dressed. I like this graphic of this hot air balloon flying over a park that we can see through the open gate. (Original) Très joli fresque. Avec le renfoncement entre les immeubles, on a assez de profondeur pour l'admirer avec le recul suffisant. Cette façade aveugle est très bien habillée. Fresque "Equus Ferus Caballus", d'Horor

(Translated by Google) The title of this magnificent fresco: “Equus Ferus Caballus”, refers to the Latin name of the horse. It was created by the French artist Horor in October 2022. On two successive walls of an immense 10-story building, the artist has captured the momentum and grace of the horse in full movement. In the foreground, the viewer is confronted with a magnificent horse kicking up dust with its hooves hitting the ground, creating a feeling of dynamism and life. The minute details and fluidity of the movement give the impression that the animal is about to launch out of the wall. In the second painting, Horor achieves a visual paradox by representing another horse figure, just as beautiful and majestic as the first. He manages to express both the grace and power of the horse, creating a visually captivating and emotionally rich composition.

Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet is an elegant early 18th-century church located in the Latin Quarter of Paris. The church features fine Baroque architecture and houses notable artworks, including Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot's The Baptism of Christ. It is situated next to the College des Bernardins and has an unusual status as it is occupied by a traditionalist society.
We find it really hard to be impressed with churches in France as there are so many spectacular ones. We stopped in at Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet during Mass and were really impressed. The building is beautiful and they have a mission which feeds the homeless. A lovely church.

What an amazing Church. Like almost all the churches in France, always amazed at the high arches of these Gothic style of churches. The stained glass windows and the awesome inspiring high ceilings . A must visit From wiki "Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ ni.kɔ.lɑ dy ʃaʁ.dɔ.nɛ]) is a Catholic church in the centre of Paris, France, in the 5th arrondissement.[1] It was constructed between 1656 and 1763. The facade was designed in the classical style by Charles Le Brun. It contains many notable art works from the 19th century, including a rare religious painting by Jean-Baptiste Corot."

Like most of religious places in Paris is a unique historical place, I saw a stone carving from 1625 on one of the side doors. There are a lot of beautiful antiques inside despite of spiritual vibe. Nobody ask for a ticket. Parking place and bathroom not available or very hard to find. Check the pictures please.

What an absolutely beautiful church. Passed by her just by sheer luck and was so happy. The interior is probably one of the most beautiful I've ever been into. It was quite old but beautifully kept. It was packed when I went in there as I entered near the end of mass. It was so lovely to see every talking outside.
Brid — Google review
Beautiful church which offers the mass of all ages. As to those who complain on the dress code, people are simply following Catholic modesty. Shorts in the middle of the summer is no excuse, as we in the Philippines wear pants, collared and long-sleeved shirts. Just imagine; if we are to appear before the highest official in France in person, are we expected to wear a casual t-shirt with shorts? Absolutely not! We are expected to wear our best clothes, so how much more if we are to appear before the Creator himself? Is it considered modest as to wearing shorts or sleeveless shirts to the sacrifice of the Mass?
Rion V — Google review

Pizza Grill Istanbul is a charming eatery that captures the essence of Turkish cuisine in a relaxed setting, complete with sidewalk tables. The menu features an array of traditional dishes, including grilled meats and pide flatbreads, making it a delightful spot for food lovers. Diners can indulge in specialties like karisik izgara—a mixed kebab platter served with fresh salad and warm naan bread to keep everything cozy. Guests are often greeted with complimentary warm bread while they wait for their meals.
Get here! Great staff who don't hang around. Very welcoming and warm! Food was first class and fairly priced. All made to order and fresh. Coffee afterwards was amazing!

Best Turkish restaurant in Paris! The staff was so fast. The prices are cheap. The food was perfect. We ordered Eli Nazik and Yogurtlu Adana Kebap and loved it. Before that we shared a Lahmacun and it was very crispy. Home made ayran was delicious as well. 10/10

I strongly recommend this restaurant if you want to feel like you are in Turkey. Very good meat made on charcoal grill. They have Turkish wines which are really good big and half bottle. I have eat veal and I missed lamb!!. Courtesy tea to finish

In short it's a nice Turkish restaurant with good food, friendly staff and moderate price. They have Turkish pizza and also Turkish dishes like kebabs. My choice was for karisik izgara which is a mixed kebab (beef, pork and chicken) with salad covered by naan (flat bread) to keep the food warm. When you seat you get warm bread on the house as appetizers for the wait. The owner was working on the yoghurt machine and I took a look asking questions: he offered me a taste. At the end a nice cup of tea in the traditional Turkish glass. The service was fast, they are very busy so if you are a large group then come after 9:30 and you'll find a free table.

Buffet restaurant
BBQ Cadet is a vibrant establishment adorned with unique artwork, offering a delectable array of Korean cuisine such as Bibimbap, dumplings, soups, and barbecue dishes. Patrons can enjoy the lively ambiance while indulging in all-you-can-eat Korean food and skewers from 6:30pm to 10pm for an affordable price of $25 per person.
Private karaoke room for 8 pax until midnight with minimum 200€ consumption (which is attainable, especially if you pay 25€ per head for all-you-can-eat Korean food and skewers from 6:30pm to 10pm). Reservation of the private room through phone call and a deposit of 50€ through paypal. We were quite surprised with the food quality, especially the skewers, bulgogi, bimbimbap, and cold noodles. It was really a good price-quality ratio and efficient-fast service.
Joana V — Google review
I went to this place yesterday, the food made majority of our group got stomachache. The karaoke quality is ok-ish, not the best! The price is cheap but I can't accept this for the stomach pain we have to suffer
Thi N — Google review
NOT SAFE, UNHEALTHY! It is true what you see in a lot of the comments here (wish we had seen them before we went). We booked a karaoke room for which we had left a guarantee deposit in advance and we only got told that the minimum consumption was 200€ with a maximum of 9 people and they NEVER mentioned that we would be forced to consume a menu of 27€ each + 3€ per person for the karaoke room and NO beverages included, that we found out when we were there already. At that point we were really upset but decided to spend a good evening since we had the room for 4 hours which seemed right and the staff was friendly. Despite some technical issues with the karaoke, we had a good time but the real problem came the next day when all of us had stomachache, diarrhea, food poisoning, etc. After reading all the comments here, I cannot believe this place is still operating. PLEASE DONT GO!

tried this restaurant with my family dishes are good and service just everything is in rush because of too crowded, it’s just too much for the price that you don’t have that much of choices and serving is too little even we order for 4 people it’s looks many but it’s not 😅
Miel R — Google review
All you can eat BBQ and several Korean dishes like rice cakes in sauce, ramen stew etc. The BBQ skewers already come grilled so the meat tends to be not so tender. The only dish on the all you can eat menu that is grilled is the Bulgogi (Korean marinated beef). The dishes were a bit underwhelming and not authentic. Still a good spot if you are looking to try as many Korean dishes as possible for little money.
Julia T — Google review
Excellent. All you can eat skewers and Korean dishes. I have the habit to come here after bug sport session, always looking forward for a good meal
Théo C — Google review
The service and price helps the 3 stars. All you can eat seems worth it if you want to try every little dish. Food was sadly very disappointing. Rice cakes were overcooked and their sauce was very plain could have been more spicy. The chicken felt like chicken popscicle, the amount of sugar even on the spicy ones make it seem like a chicken candy. Still tender and not so bad inside but wayy to much sugar, and not spicy enough. Feed back from friends wasnt so harsh, they had bibimbap for most. Karaoke is very international, it's lacking a lot of very famous western song and also has close to no anime songs compared to other karaoke I tried. The software worked very well and was easy to learn tho, so if you're looking for cheap karaoke with okay-ish food, enjoy this place. Like every karaoke, the alcohol was extremely expensive. 17,50€ for a 33cl soju bottle. Received very different treatment from the staff, some were really nice.

ROSE: The staff is nice, the location is great, there’s a TV for the football games, the toilets are fancy, spacious and accessible to wheelchairs, there’s a large variety of pizzas, there are outlets to charge your phone and sit there with your laptop. They deliver. It’s clean everywhere you look. You can bring a date (it’s pretty cosy and quiet). It’s always Buy 1 = Get 1 for free there. Whether you stay or take away. The pizza is ready in no time. THORN: There’s no real tiramisu (only some sort of variety of tiramisu, typically French), the pizzas are not the tastiest in the game, you won’t leave the place saying “wow that pizza was goooood”. There’s always a QR code to scan for a scam game that just wants to collect your data. BUD: They should ask if you want hot sauce during the order! And not just assume you do. I’ve been wasting a lot of hot sauces.

The Espace Images allows visitors to experiment with a delayed camera and draw 3D images on a computer.
We loved it! The part about space is really interesting. You'll find audio guides in FR, EN, and DE at most of the points. They have a space flight take-off simulation which is not always available (if I understood well) that I tried twice with my younger child. She was impressed with the table simulation where you take care of the space station on Mars. The older kid loved the robotics and the math parts. We stayed for 3 hours and we would stay more if they weren't closing.

We were here with a 20-month-old child and chose the "Baby City" hall - an ideal place for a family holiday. The food is incredibly delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and warm. I would especially like to mention the woman who served us: she was incredibly nice, attentive and created the feeling that we were long-awaited guests. Thanks to this, the visit was very pleasant and homely, I want to come back again!

A mix of exciting new and forgotten old The new exhibits are great — modern, engaging, and well thought out. But many of the older ones feel like they were abandoned around 2005: broken elements, non-functional features, and a noticeable lack of staff around to help or explain. That said, the museum is clean, and the staff (when you do come across someone) are friendly and welcoming. With a bit of maintenance and presence, the older sections could shine again.

I was here for over 3 hours, but still didn’t even get to view all the exhibits. This place is simply phenomenal for anyone interested in maths, science, space exploration, genetics and video games. There are so many interactive exhibits in english, french and Spanish, from a simulation of a journey to europa to performing genetic analysis. The 45 minute planetarium presentation was great, but was delivered in french. Recommend for anyone in the area interested in science and technology.
Arib S — Google review
Worth a trip and well off the tourist trail. Best is being able to walk around inside a 1950s vintage diesel submarine: the Argonaut. Lots of interesting and educational exhibits that switch around every couple of years. You can spend the day and not see everything. Overall has a bit of a 1970s vibe going for it. Planetarium is worth a go (all shows in French with no subtitles). The giant mirrored ball thing in all the photos is an IMAX cinema and is not part of the museum. In the mathematics section they have this interesting round room you can go in and then they start it spinning (not too fast) so you can see what it's like to be in a rotating reference frame. Think of a carousel where they've cleared out all the horses and you get to walk around on the rotating platform. They had a section on dogs and cats (without having any actual dogs and cats) that was entertaining and we did learn things like "cats don't like it when you rearrange the furniture". Recommended if your trip to Paris is not so frantic or if it's not your first time in Paris.

I have been there for the RISC-V summit 2025. The venue is good and it organizes in the underground floor of the museum. The museum itself is quite interesting since it shows the industrialization of the robots and something scientific.

We were during the weekend. It was a free entry and a lot of exebitions. Amazing. Do not miss.

I was a little bit disappointed. For sure, a submarine is always great to visit, but the planetarium was a total disaster - 1 hour of watching the sky and listening to calm music, unfortunately a waste of time. It could be a good place for older adolescents, but not for young children.

Village des Médias

Corporate office
Village des Médias is a modern village located in a public park, offering views of the Sacre Coeur. The development has been subject to controversy due to its sale by CD93 and construction standards. Despite its attractive appearance, concerns have been raised about impermeable soils leading to potential flooding and heat islands. Critics argue that such developments ignore the impact of climate change. Nonetheless, some praise the disciplined and successful work evident in this area.

Art gallery
Gagosian is a stunning art gallery located just outside of Paris. The spacious and serene environment provides the perfect setting for monumental works by artists like Richard Serra. Visitors can expect to be captivated by the perfection with which Serra's work fills the exhibition space, creating a truly immersive experience. While finding the entrance through the blue garage door may be a bit tricky at first, it's well worth the effort.
Excellent exhibition of James Turrell works. It is well worth the effort to get here. Access was free, no photos allowed. There were two large room installations. ‘All clear’ was amazingly disorienting (including strobe for a short while, do not be put off by this unless you have history, it is incredible). Another 8 rooms/vestibule installations. Another 20 prints, models, holograms & aerial photo/map plans. Apt that the ex high altitude pilot now international artist exhibits next to a museum of flight & space. Bravo!!

Excellent James Turrell show worth the trek. Sensational space and mind boggling investment to stage these works. The models are particularly beautiful. I recommend taking the 350 bus from Porte de la Chapelle. Only 10 minutes to the musée stop and just a regular Paris transport ticket. When returning keep an eye out for the one way pedestrian gate shortcut through the road boundary fence near the bus stop Lénine to save yourself a longer walk.

An exquisite gallery at the end of an interesting trek (if you take public transport) from central Paris. The space is beautifully constructed and the urban setting (more or less in an industrial park with connections with the history of aviation in France) is visually stimulating. On my visit I saw a stupendous show of masterpieces by James Turrell. Gorgeous, divine, wonderful!

L'Entracte is a delightful little gem I stumbled upon during my travels, and it truly exceeded my expectations! While the ambiance is simple and they don’t serve alcohol, the quality of the food is remarkable for such an affordable price in Paris. The friendly owner and staff made me feel right at home, even with my limited French. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my tasty meal arrived, making it a perfect spot for a quick bite after exploring the city.
Found this restaurant by chance and must admit the quality of the food surprised us... Nothing fancy and no alcohol sales available, but truly great food at very reasonable price especially for Paris.. lovely freindly owner and staff... Would definitely recommend as 5 stars... Thanks for bet there when we need you!

We came across this place by chance after the air show. The food was tasty and served quick and the staff is friendly. Great place for an affordable bite to eat with good portions.

I walked in and asked if they spoke English. They said a little and that's all I needed, I had figure translate ready but I didn't need it. I pointed to what I wanted like a child would do, and they gave it to me. They were nice, the food was pretty good.

La cantine de Belleville is a casual dining spot that offers traditional dishes in a relaxed setting, complete with a terrace and live music in the basement. The menu caters to all tastes, from carnivores to vegetarians and cocktail enthusiasts. The chef, known for their expertise, has revamped the place with fresh food and excellent service. Visitors of all ages can enjoy this place, whether they're families or couples looking for a discreet meal.
By chance, we heard about this place and went with our children (12 and 14 years) further away from the accommodation to eat here. We tasted different starters and main courses together. And couple of desserts. All were very good. Having visited Paris several times, this place has a very good price-quality ratio. The service is also pleasant. I can warmly recommend it. ❤️

We took couscous and burgers, and both were very tasty and cheap. The couscous is served in a big pot in the center of the table in big portion, which I liked a lot. We also took deserts that were very nice, big up for the crème brûlée. The waiters and their cat chouquette were very cute, will go back for sure!

After a long and tiring day, we wanted beer and food. This place was busy and full of local people (a very good sign) but they had a table available for us. The beer was good and the food was delcious. Service was also good.

Our waiter at a bar down the street recommended „La Cantine“ and we can only recommend it further. The food is 10/10, the drinks are perfect, the wait staff incredibly nice and attentive and the prices more than amazing – especially for the quality delivered. We had the cheeseburger and the entrecôte – both absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is chill but modern. Overall a perfect experience and definitely worth it!
