Nature & Parks
Morgan Falls Overlook Park, located in Sandy Springs just 15 minutes south of central Roswell, is a family-friendly outdoor space that opened in 2010. Situated on the banks of Bull Sluice Lake, the park offers expansive playgrounds, walking trails, picnic areas with pavilions and river views. It's a peaceful place for everyone to enjoy, with clean public bathrooms and opportunities for activities like kayaking and leisurely walks.
This place was awesome! The walk down to the dock was a small hike, but it was all worth it! We enjoyed a lovely day on the water in our SUPs with our sweet dog Oskar and had the BEST time! We had a picnic with a delicious Italian sub from Publix and soaked up the awesomeness of day while paddling and floating.

We visited the park for a quick birthday celebration for my friend that turned 41. We wanted to be outside for the kids.... and had a cute lil picnic celebration for the birthday girl! We will return to this park!
Tay T — Google review
The place is a hidden gem. So peaceful...family friendly....beautiful friendly ...and a covered pavilion for social events like cookouts, reunions, picnics, etc scenery is beautiful. Swings for couples to sit in and lookout at the water..
Kiara R — Google review
A very well kept park with aspects for all ages. There is a children's playground for young families, a green space for sport scrimmage, a few viewpoints to take in the scenery, and a short hiking trail to immerse yourself in nature and stretch your legs. Great for families and a relaxing picnic or hangout, lacking for an avid outdoor enthusiast.

Nice walking trails and play areas. The water overlook is excellent as well.

I love the scenery here it’s beautiful. Lots of places to sit and stroller friendly. Beautiful lake and cute play ground with swings for adults to look over the lake too. Nice spot that’s convenient to get to as well. I will be bringing my little girl here regularly as she gets older.

I like this place, and I've been here several times a month. Saw film shooting going on once near the dam. The garden is good and peaceful if you want to sit and read books. I took my 2 friends here, my roommates aunt who came from India we both visited this place and she loved it too, my colleague and his twins loved this place and found and perfect spot for thir kid's photography. So basically whoever I took here they all loved this cute little place. There is a small house far inside the mountains on the other side of the lake and it looks cute.
Apurva P — Google review
Beautiful place with peaceful vibes ,there is a picnic spot as well and a playground for kids and it's well organized and you can go for a short walk around the park and it has quite a few swings where you and sit and view the lake.. it's really beautiful place worth visiting if you just want to hangout with family/friends and relax

Chattahoochee Nature Center is a 127-acre educational facility in Georgia, offering paths and a discovery center with animals and nature exhibits. The center showcases local flora and fauna, featuring a greenhouse with native plant displays, gardens, aquaria, aviaries housing rescued reptiles, amphibians, and birds of prey. Visitors can explore the forest, wetland, and river habitat while stepping into the secret world of the Chattahoochee River at the Discovery Center.
We fluttered into the most magical day at the Butterfly Festival—and it was pure joy from start to finish! My 3-year-old was in butterfly heaven. 💕 She wore her favorite butterfly dress (because obviously you have to match the butterflies 🦋) and spent the whole day twirling, giggling, and chasing wings. We got to make butterflies, feed them nectar, and even had one land right on her little finger—it was like they knew she was one of them! 💫 The puppet show had her belly laughing, and the butterfly crafts made her feel like a little artist. And let’s not forget the ice cream break to cool down from the sunny 90° weather 🍦—because all good adventures need sprinkles! It was a perfect mommy-and-me date, full of magic, sunshine, and a whole lot of wonder. Thank you to the Nature Center for creating a space where curiosity can soar and little ones can feel like fairy queens of the garden! 🧚‍♀️💜

I had a great time as a solo visitor. They have an amazing variety of native plants and flowers, and in turn has abundant opportunity to spot native insects and birds. In summer it’s very hot, so plan to bring water and wear appropriate clothing. I brought my lunch, and there is plenty of seating and tables to rest outdoors. They had a small selection of native plants on sale which can be purchased at the lobby counter.

The Chattahoochee Nature Reserve is an absolute treasure! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how peaceful and well-kept the grounds are. The trails are beautifully maintained and easy to follow, offering the perfect mix of shaded pathways, open views, and spots to pause and take in nature. We loved the opportunity to see wildlife up close—birds of prey in their sanctuary, playful chipmunks, and even a beaver along the water’s edge. The educational displays and signs made it a fantastic learning experience for our homeschool day, tying in lessons about ecosystems, conservation, and local habitats. The staff and volunteers clearly care deeply about the animals and the environment, and their passion shines through in how thoughtfully the reserve is organized. It’s a wonderful place to slow down, explore, and appreciate the natural beauty of the Chattahoochee area. Highly recommend for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking for an enriching, peaceful outing!

It was a beautiful day. Not too hot. We spent the afternoon discovering Georgia's natural beauty. I recommend better upkeep for the owl cages. The walkways are clear. There is a beautiful mural on the stairs. There is alot of potential here. Wish the folage was removed around the discovery center and not hidden away. We encouraged the scavenger hunt. Overall the boys loved it.

I went ahead and bought an annual pass because I was so excited to make this a part of my routine. There are so many amazing trails. There is a combination of elevation trails and flat. You have options along the way with a provided trail map to mix it up while you’re getting to see so much nature. We enjoyed birds and chipmunks and squirrels and other natural critters.

We were visiting family in Atlanta and we were going to the al fresco concert one evening - arrived early so we could walk the paths. Really nice trails, smooth enough even for kids. Beautifully designed, very well-maintained, with a few wild birds (injured, couldn't be released back to the wild) along the path. The enclosures are impeccably clean, but for me the highlight was visiting the butterfly enclosure. We were given little painting sponges saturated with sugar water, and my five-year-old inner child was squealing ecstaticly! The docent knew her stuff and she was so kind and patient, and obviously delighted to share her enthusiasm with us. Utterly cool experience! Then we spent a chill evening with a picnic dinner listening to music by Café au Lait.

Love love this place. We have been going back to butterfly encounter every year. Their STEAM lab is amazing for nature/ bug loving kids. Its definitely worth every penny getting annual membership.

Nice place, very knowledgeable, kind, caring staff. My co-workers and I volunteered here and we had a great time! Be prepared to do hard work, but you'll learn so much while you do it and then have a chance to see all the rehab animals and hear their stories. It's definitely a place worth visiting, volunteering with, and donating to.

Vickery Creek Park

Park
Vickery Creek Park is a picturesque gem nestled in the heart of Roswell, offering visitors a delightful blend of nature and history. This scenic park features a charming historic mill, an enchanting covered bridge, and a stunning man-made waterfall that beckons adventurers. With well-maintained hiking trails winding along both sides of the creek, you can choose between shorter paths with minimal stairs or more challenging routes leading to breathtaking views of the falls. The main trail spans approximately 3.
Really blown away by this gem hidden amid the bustle of the city! There were several areas to park. Quite a few trails with markers throughout to help keep you from getting lost. The bridge was large and well maintained and made for a great photo op. We were here for 3 hours and did not even cross the bridge to check out the mill so plenty to see and makes an excellent day trip! Access to the base of the falls is not necessarily encouraged but also not prohibited! Definitely something you should add to your trail list!
Bonnie B — Google review
Many different paths to take. Markers could have been done better. Very beautiful walk and cool with the canopy of the trees. River was pretty but the little waterfall was disappointing. No trash cans or seating to take breaks. Very rough paths, many rocks and roots. I wouldn't recommend for children or anyone who is any trouble with walking. Free parking.
Joan-Marie K — Google review
Visited after a first half day of rain, so parking easier to find. Trails were well marked, except for a closed trail that extended my hike longer than anticipated.
Jaime E — Google review
Note that there are 2 parking lots: one off Riverside Rd by the Chattahoochee, and one at the covered bridge and mill ruins off Mill St in Roswell. The latter is free, but was completely full the Sunday I went, so I used the former and displayed my National Parks pass to avoid the $5 fee. The hike itself is easily navigated with the maps at every intersection. I managed to do 5 miles by following the park's perimeter. Be sure to find the small falls off Oxbo Rd, and visit the big waterfall and mill ruins on the other side of the covered bridge.
Bob W — Google review
Its a beautiful, peacful place. Parking was easy, the trail to the waterfall itself was quite flat and would be quote easy for most to cross. Overall, recommended to check it out with your family.
Snigdha G — Google review
Beautiful little hidden gem in Roswell! The Mill Street Waterfall is peaceful and perfect for a quick scenic stop. Easy to access, great for photos, and a nice place to just relax and listen to the water. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.
HASAN — Google review
The trails are well maintained. There were even benches and trashcans. The educational signs were well done. I was really disappointed to see the water was roped off. On a busy Saturday most people weren't following the rules and were still going down to the water, but the signage states water access is no longer allowed. I'm assuming it's to help cut down on people trashing the water, but it makes this park a lot less desirable to visit and people were still leaving trash regardless so it only punishes those who follow the rules.
Natasha R — Google review
It is a very scenic and peaceful area. The trail is long. I spent about 2 hours exploring but could have easily spent another 2 hours. Lots of areas to explore. The waterfall is gorgeous, and water was refreshing in the Georgia heat. If you love the outdoors, this is a must visit. Oh and free parking.

Roswell Mill Waterfall

4.8
(1209)
Roswell Mill Waterfall is a historic site with a series of mills that were once the largest cotton mill in northern Georgia. The area offers beautiful trails, a bridge, and an easy hike to the impressive waterfall. While some visitors may find the parking situation challenging on busy days, the experience of wading in the water by the waterfall is described as awesome. It's considered a fun place for families and provides an opportunity to enjoy nature and history at the same time.
This place was peaceful and beautiful to experience. If you’re looking for a place to take some nice pictures, learn a little history, get some fresh air or walk the different trails this is the place to go. Would definitely recommend you visit, maybe I’ll see you out there because I will be back. Oh did I mention it will cost you absolutely nothing for this experience.

This was a very nice and easy hike through the trail leading to the waterfall! Amazing, Beautiful and Clean! This is how we celebrated our 4th of July 2025.. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 pros: Free parking is always a plus! Park is clean and well kept! I didn't see the restroom facility but everywhere else was beautiful 😍 People were swimming and playing in the water. The walk/hike to the waterfall was nice and peaceful! The bridge and steps felt safe and durable (no wobbles and no loose woods!). Pet friendly. cons: People speeding in the parking area! That was uncool! The guy acted like he couldn't be bothered to slow down before he hurts someone.
D. T — Google review
Beautiful waterfall with many photo opportunities! Went with a group of friends for a birthday shoot. The trail from the Vickery Creek parking lot is tight and has a fair amount of elevation so be wary of that if you plan to hike to the falls. But when you are there you'll be happy you came! Free parking and viewing.
Alana M — Google review
We had heard about the old mill and waterfall and decided to check in out. We went on a Monday morning and it was nearly empty of people. There is tons of history and information on the old cotton mill and the workings. The dam and waterfall are beautiful and we really enjoyed the covered bridge and historical artifacts. The trail down from the parking lot is steep and there are plenty of stairs on some of the trails so be aware.
Brian M — Google review
Such a beautiful location and photogenic place. Plus hike is truly not that long to get to the waterfall. The place looked really well maintained and everything here was super clean! Although there was a water snake spotted, don’t be afraid because they did absolutely nothing! Had a fun time celebrating my birthday here and i’m surprised how close it was to the city. Definitely a spot to come to if you love nature and want to take amazing photos!
Karlah B — Google review
Felt like a little hike and nature vibes for the day and I found this place online which ended up being a perfect match for me and I had a good time walking and exploring a bit. I was also lucky enough to witness my first wedding proposal on the bridge! There’s also a very easy to find by walking waterfall that a lot of people can sit around but also swim in. I will say there are super steep areas so I’d recommend wearing very comfortable shoes for the walk even if you’re not going for a long while. Parking is very easy, and from what I know is free of cost.

East Roswell Park is a spacious recreational area spanning 40 acres, brimming with diverse amenities to cater for the needs of visitors. Among the facilities available are various sports fields, tracks for hiking and biking, playgrounds suitable for children of all ages, a disc golf course as well as a recreation center. Visitors can engage in their favorite outdoor activities while enjoying scenic views in this serene environment.
I was there for disc golf and it was great. Clean and spacious great for walking and activities. tennis, playgrounds, bathrooms. Disc golf hole one is behind the large playground across the tennis courts.

I had a very nice experience at this park! It has a large playground for kids of all ages, one is for small kids and the other one for big kids. A splash pad/spray playground that's open from May 24 to August 3, from 10am to 5pm. We visited around 4pm and found it relatively uncrowded, with ample parking right outside the park. The park also has clean washrooms on site and shaded areas perfect for small picnics. It has a disc golf field too but had no discs at the time so couldn’t explore it but it looked good. Additionally, there's a soccer field nearby. Overall, a great place for a fun family outing! Highly recommended and would definitely visit again.
Pallavi H — Google review
This review is more from the disc golf part of the park. This course is so much fun, but be warned it's not the easiest if you're not very accurate. However, if you enjoy a challenge and love a gorgeous park while you walk around this place is perfect. I've played a bunch of courses around the Atlanta metro area and this is definitely one of if not the best to me even from just the pure calming walk this park provides. It's even perfect for your dog companion as there's plenty to explore. But definitely better if you're dog is well trained to walm without a leash but still good if they must be tethered. Overall, noticing the numerous tennis and pickle ball courts, baseball, softball and soccer fields and even a playground next to the main disc golf area, this park has more than enough for anyone regardless of what outdoor activity you enjoy. Check it out!

Today was my first time visiting this park. There is an outdoor gym that was a pretty good workout. Then I followed the trail around to a big splash pad that I’m sure is open during the summer. Then happened to find a art gallery. It was open and I met the two lovely ladies who were painting. They had all hand made art some which was already sold on display. They informed me that they host periodic events. I’m looking forward to what else they have coming Follow my Instagram @rosadivina29 and check out my highlights for more places I’ve visited!

This park is very close to my house and I walk around all the time. I also like to take my kids in the summer to the spray ground and the kids playground they have 2 different ones. They have soccer fields and basketball courts 2 of them, also tennis courts and more. There’s a library in one corner on the park.

Italian restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Roswell, Georgia, Ippolito's Neighborhood Italian is a charming eatery that captures the essence of traditional Italian cuisine. With a menu brimming with beloved classics like pizza and calzones, this relaxed restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for family gatherings or casual dinners. The Bocce Room at Ippolito's serves as an intimate wedding venue, providing a romantic setting that balances coziness with ample space for dining and dancing.
We attended an event that was hosted in the Bocce Room. It was elegant, swanky, and perfect! The Caesar salad, antipasto, spinach salad, lasagna and Alfredo pasta were all so delicious. The strawberry cheesecake for dessert and coffee were a perfect pairing! The service was next to none with prompt attention to details! My wife and I had a delightful evening.

Food was good, especially the garlic rolls which were hot and amazing! I was surprised entrees didn't include a house salad like most other Italian eateries like Provinos, Frankie's, Bambalini's, or even chains like Olive Garden. Dining room was open style and dark and seemed a bit noisy. Service was good, but not above average. It's worth visiting but not on the top of my rotation list for Italian food.

I had never had a bad experience in this country since I started living here. Unfortunately, we were served by a manager who at first seemed attentive, but then never came back to the table to ask if we needed anything else. When I went to find someone to help us, two people came, and then he came and said that he was helping other tables and that he had served us — that we didn’t speak Spanish, even though he was the one who started speaking Spanish from the beginning, which makes no sense. He said he had told another waitress to take care of us and that she had forgotten, which is why no one came back to our table. Then he told us that if we didn’t want to come back, we just shouldn’t — that he would respect that. I don’t understand how someone with such a rude attitude can be in charge of a team. My husband told him that if he was acting like that, it was probably because we

This was our first time visiting and it was unusually busy for a Saturday at 5:45pm; however, we were willing to wait 20 min for a table. It was well worth the wait! Even with a packed house and several large groups, the service was fantastic (thanks, Mark), and the food came out quickly and amazingly good! We did not order dessert but sat near the fresh dessert fridge. Next time we will save room because all the cakes and pies looked so good! We will be back again soon!

The service was outstanding! Very clean ! The food was the best I have ever had. Real Itatian and not out of a box. The salad was fresh and crisp. The garlic rolls was so delicious that I could have just made a meal just from them. The portion size was awesome! Most definitely did not leave hungry. We loved it so much, we reserved the Bocca Room for our son's wedding rehearsal in the coming months. Lisa and Pat is awesome and very friendly. They both answered any questions and very knowledgeable. Can not remember the young lady as our waitress, she was very friendly, knowledgeable, and on top of everything.

Nestled in the charming Historic Roswell, The Mill Kitchen and Bar is a delightful casual eatery that brings a modern twist to Southern cuisine. With its stylishly rustic decor and inviting outdoor seating, it offers the perfect ambiance for enjoying vibrant flavors crafted by Chef Flynn McClanahan. The menu changes with the seasons, ensuring that only the freshest ingredients are used, making each visit unique.
This place has a great atmosphere and the food is also delicious! The outside has two styles of heat lamps for your comfort and the outside is also spacious with plenty of seating. The service is fast and friendly. The drink and grits is very good but the sauce tasted and appeared pre-made and old with a dull color but was still good. I ate prior to noon so not sure if the sauce was from prior day. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Food is delicious, but service is a little slow. Expect to be here for a while if going for lunch. It seems the servers all serve inside and outside tables. We received our appetizer before our drink. The atmosphere is beautiful. I ordered the espresso martini flight -- the standard was good, but the other two were very strong and sweet. I didn't care for them. The patio has beautiful shaded areas.

My wife and I wanted to try here because before we order their Thanksgiving Pre-made meal, we wanted to see how their food was. Well, let me first start with saying, we will be back because everything we tried was amazing. Our waitress was Fiona and she was so nice and did a great job checking on us throughout the entire meal. The interior design gives a very peaceful yet elegant vibes. They also have outside and inside seating. It is a bit expensive which we went during dinner time hours. The only small issue we had was there was numerous horse flies that kept trying to land on our food which we sat inside. Other than that, we were pleasantly pleased and will definitely be coming back.

Everything about the service, food, and atmosphere was wonderful. Our server Krista was excellent. She surprised us with the pimento cheese balls since it was our first visit, and it made our visit so memorable. She was great at highlighting menu items and made us feel so welcome. The panzanela salad with grit cakes was SO good. The shrimp and grits were solid, although it could have used another shrimp or two for being a large plate. All in all, The Mill has earned its place as one of my favorite spots in Roswell for dine-in brunch or lunch. It's fairly busy even on a Monday. We arrived soon after opening and had no problem getting a seat, but I would make a reservation next time. This was the perfect brunch stop for a morning hike on the Vickery Creek trail. Would definitely recommend. I don't recall a changing table in the restroom. Pros: service, food, indoor and outdoor seating options Cons: restrooms could be cleaner

We celebrated a family birthday at The Mill Kitchen and Bar, and it was exactly what we hoped for — special, delicious, and easy. The shrimp and grits were excellent, the avocado toast hit perfectly, and the croissant French toast was legit. The kids’ menu is also fantastic, which makes it a great spot for families. It can get a little loud in there (no matter the time of day), but that’s part of the lively brunch vibe we’ve come to expect. We love coming here on weekends because you can actually make a reservation — which is huge. Our table of 13 was easily accommodated after booking just two days ahead. Always a great experience, and always worth the visit.
Cary B — Google review
We visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. Despite understanding that weekends are busy, it took nearly 20–25 minutes after being seated just to get water. My beer didn’t arrive for about 15 minutes, and we had to request crayons and paper for our 4-year-old since no one offered them proactively. The food also took quite a while to arrive, and while it was okay, it wasn’t anything memorable. On top of that, the air conditioning was very poor, which made the wait even more uncomfortable. For two small plates and one big plate, the total came to around $60–65. Given the slow service, average food, and uncomfortable atmosphere, it didn’t feel worth the price.

The Mill is an American restaurant with a wonderful ambience. From yhe outside it looks like a large rambling mansion that was converted into a restaurant. There is an outdoor patio, shaded for the summer heat with an outdoor fireplace for the cooler months. Oddly enough, the entrance outs you square in the fave of the kitchen and the server pickup area. To the left is what appears to be an enclosed porch with large windows and sunlight streaming into a large dining area. To the right is a double sided bar, well stocked and with great bartenders The menubis heavy of seafood, but also has steaks. The preparation is a little bourgeois with interesting treatments of savory and sweet. For some odd reason there is a fascination with pimento cheese. Service was a little slow but pleasant enough. Wine pours are generous. I found it better for drinks and appetizers as opposed to dinner.. but respectable nonetheless

We did our rehearsal dinner in the private upstairs room. It was lovely, and the food was good as well. There were a few service issues that are worth mentioning. We did a plated dinner, and just before everyone sat down, we were asked if we had the required name cards with who ordered what. We were not asked to do this prior to the event, though it makes sense. We figured it out after asking some folks and having them print name tags on the spot. It caused a bit of unnecessary stress in the moment and wish it had been mentioned to us in our email exchanges. When we concluded dinner, our hostess gave us the bill and walked away after walking through it with us. Since gratuity was already included and my card was on file, I thought we were good to leave. I got a call in the car saying we had to come back to close out the tab. When asked why my card on file couldn’t be used, the reason was “the manager who booked the event isn’t here”. That was pretty frustrating as well. The hostess and servers were friendly and we enjoyed the space, but those two aspects related to the private party caused some stress. Overall, it was easy to book and the coordinator was responsive, but there were just a few details missing.

Italian restaurant
Amalfi Ristorante is a cozy trattoria located in Roswell, GA, known for its traditional Italian dishes and selection of wines. Voted as the best Italian restaurant in Atlanta, it offers an authentic dining experience with dim lighting and Italian music. The family-owned establishment has been serving delectable Italian cuisine for over 15 years, creating a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of a home away from home.
Wow - what a great “find” here in Roswell! This older restaurant not on Canton Street is the best Italian food I’ve had in Roswell so far! I’ve been on a mission to try new places in 2025 and my buddy actually suggested this one. I’m sure I’ve passed it many times but never looked it up. It’s definitely unassuming but well worth visiting. It feels, smells and tastes like a traditional Italian restaurant in all the right ways. Our service was impeccable. The food was excellent. The overall experience was outstanding.

I was nervous to come here because I read the bad reviews. But our experience was very nice. Our server was the perfect amount of attentive and very knowledgeable. The restaurant was very clean and cute and I daresay quiet, which was nice. I ordered a pineapple Cosmo that was good and the linguine with clams, mussels, shrimp and scallops. The shrimp was over cooked but everything else was perfectly cooked. Oh. We also got the calamari with the spicy sauce. It. Was. To. Die. For. I had a bite of my sisters meatball (that was the size of my fist) soooooo good! 100% recommend and would return.

Amalfi's is VERY GOOD ! The food is great. We enjoy the calamari, chicken parmesan and terminus. The house cybernetic is nice. The service was great. Our server Brian was excellent. The atmosphere is dimly lit with candlelight and music. The also have a bar you can also dine at.

I came here with my boyfriend for homecoming. We had the calamari, rigatoni lorenzo, and the fettuccine alla boscaiola. The portion sizes were generous and every dish was flavorful. The sauces struck a perfect balance between being light and creamy, and we were particularly blown away by the rigatoni lorenzo. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed our meal. I look forward to coming back.

Food was OK. I had chicken Parmesan. It came with pasta. The bread was good but it had to ask for a refill on that. The atmosphere was loud overall it could’ve been better but it was OK.

First time at this restaurant. We were told we could grab a drink at the bar while we waited for our table, so we tried the house cab and it was a very good wine! Once seated, we were greeted by a very nice server and he took very good care of us. The Caesar salad was amazing. Two others at our table ordered the salad after the salads were brought out because they were so good! The spaghetti sauce was not my favorite, but overall a great time, great food and great company!

Very loud hard to hold a conversation. Some of our party’s food was very good. Mine was not, however, the tiramisu dessert was amazing.

I love this place. I think it’s one of the best authentic Italian American style restaurants in Georgia. Family owned and family run, mom is in the back making the sauce it’s all in here. The Marinara is exquisite. I have never had a bad meal here or a bad time here. This time we ordered the calamari for an appetizer - Man was it soft pounded perfectly breaded perfectly and the marinara sauce deliciously went together very very well popped in your mouth flavors. The veal Limon was amazing perfectly pounded to the perfect width, breaded so lightly then pan fried - perfect flavor. the cream sauce and the capers just went very well together. The next thing is not on their online menu so beware that their menu has changed. I don’t know what to call it but it was a large noodle pasta with arugula lettuce and Finnell sausage and a white cream sauce - it was delicious!!!! I apologize for the photos - I took them after the fresh Parmesan grated cheese was added on top so it’s hard to see. But let me tell you the dish was flavorful and rich - it was freaking delicious. Love the atmosphere all old school male waiters only, cool bar quaint seating and tables. Outside parking is limited so come early because they don’t take reservations.

Steak house
Little Alley Steak is a top-notch American steakhouse in Roswell, brought to the food scene by F&H Food Trading Group. The restaurant takes pride in offering high-quality meat and hand-crafted cuts, with a menu that celebrates good beef. Housed in a 1920s-inspired space, the decor features antique meat hooks as light fixtures and a chalkboard sketch of butcher cuts on the wall.
I took my mother and girlfriend here for a nice evening because I just came back from deployment. Everything was perfect and an amazing experience. I grew up just down the road and only recently discovered this place due to a close friend recommending it while on deployment. I will definitely be coming back in the future to spoil my loved ones. The steaks we all got were cooked perfectly and very tasty and the drinks were delicious. Out standing place.

Excellent food, one of the best steaks I've had here in GA! Light atmosphere, always busy, and for good reason! Service is phenomenal! Everyone is very nice and they always go above and beyond! Great place to entertain guests both business and friends or family! Highly recommend!

Today was my first time eating at Little Alley steakhouse. Frankie steakhouse in Duluth used to be my favorite, but this is my new favorite. I never thought that I would find A steakhouse in Georgia that beats Chops, Bones,, McKendrick, Hals steakhouse and now beats Frankie's My server, Matt made the first time experience here, absolutely remarkable. His recommendations were on point and he even has a good sense of humor. He's efficient and very wonderful personality. Excellent service. I will definitely be coming back and recommending all my friends.

Ordered the salmon with puréed potatoes and green beans. We ordered mushroom risotto, lobster mac & cheese and brussel sprouts for the table. The salmon was good. The sides were okay. We ordered the chocolate cake and flan for dessert - both were good. This wasn’t my first visit. Considering the cost of the meal, the food should be absolutely amazing.

Amazing restaurant in a beautiful street. Their choices of wine are amazing and the selection of steak cooked in so many delicious ways. And then there is the desert, couldn't help but get the creme brulee and peach bourbon cheese cake, 10/10!

My wife and I ate here today for the first time, and our meal was EXCELLENT! We enjoyed the filet and NY strip steaks. On the side, we ordered the mushroom confit, charred broccoli, and au gratin potatoes. Everything was DELICIOUS. The Mother Of All Mimosas were very tasty. Our server Miranda was excellent and professional. The atmosphere is cozy and dimly lit. The noise is moderate, but you can still carry on a conversation. We highly recommend this establishment.

Five Star Service!!! I visited the Roswell location for the first time and it was a nice experience. The servers really seem to enjoy being at work and that’s always great to see. Food- the Rockefeller Oysters were not as good as the Buckhead location, they sort of blend the spinach mix so it’s evenly distributed and this time was noticeably different. My center cut filet was so delicious, cooked to perfection, and served nicely. The Ribeye was very thick, and not as “soft/fluffy” as the filet, so it’s a preference. Their triple Mac was tasty, however, the creamed corn wasn’t sweet enough for me. But thankfully my server took care of it without an issue. Lastly, the Oreo cheesecake was phenomenal!😋 I don’t usually order dessert but I’m so happy I did. Our drinks were nice and strong as well lol, definitely recommend!
CHARM — Google review
First, Lauren was our server and she was phenomenal! Took great care of us and paced the meal perfectly. Knew answers to every question and gave great recommendations. Atmosphere was more casual than a traditional steak house but I loved the charm... And they definitely aren't lacking in any area compared to other Atlanta steakhouses I've been to, this is now my favorite establishment. The oysters, meatballs, and tuna tartare were great starters. Steaks were all cooked perfectly and the bone marrow butter was a perfect compliment. Cream corn and twice baked potato were just right. I had two cocktails which were both perfectly balanced. Bramble smash was my favorite. I finished the meal with the bread budding which was the best of the 4 desserts on our table. Pineapple upside down cake was also very good. I highly recommend this spot and we will return.

Day 2

Off the beaten path
For day 2, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Roswell Area Park. Not quite as popular as Bulloch Hall, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Park
Roswell Area Park is a popular recreational space in Roswell, Georgia. Spanning 640 acres, this public park offers a variety of amenities and activities for visitors to enjoy. The park boasts a picturesque lake, sports fields, playgrounds, and even a pool with a nearby recreation center. It is known to be well-maintained and features beautiful baseball fields that are perfect for picnics or leisurely walks along the 5-mile trail.
A very nice and spacious park !! A lot of places to walk and explore, as well as being pretty well maintained !! By the recreation center is a fairly medium-large sized pool, as well as a lot of amenities inside the rec center! There's a very nice pond by the recreation center as well that you can catch and release fish if you'd like !! Though at some places there are plenty of mosquitoes!! Nice walking trails all around the park, and a nice variety of parking !
Nicerockinkid — Google review
I've been to this park a couple of times. I enjoy it. there are a couple different nature trails and there's this really nice manmade lake with a fountain. there are peaceful corners but also a lot of sports going on, so prepare yourself to hear a lot of yelling lol. a good mix of activities!

This is one of my favorite parks. It's a 5 mile trail. Not too many inclines so if you like running this place is great. People are always friendly here. Park is well kept. Bathrooms are always clean. Beautiful baseball fields. Great area for picnics. One of the best parks in Roswell.

We spent the 4th of July at this city park, and it was absolutely fantastic! The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. The football fields were especially impressive—top quality turf and plenty of space for both casual play and more serious games. What stood out most was how safe and welcoming the entire environment felt. As a parent, that means a lot. Our kids had an amazing time, and it's now one of their favorite places to visit. From open green areas to shaded spots for picnics, this park has everything a family could ask for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly spot to relax and play—especially during holidays like the 4th of July!

The park has a very special meaning to me been going to it since the seventies when I started playing soccer when there was only a football field a soccer field and maybe one or two baseball fields at the most and almost 40 years later it's grown into one of the most beautiful Parks I've been to very very clean shuffle kids play parks that young kids can enjoy Play beautiful lake to be able to fish it is catch and release, it also has great walking trails for exercise
David W — Google review
It has a great playground for all ages. Even a separate area for smaller children. The only negative are the mosquitoes since it's surrounded by a lot of trees.
Adriana H — Google review
Always fun. Great park. We love walking around the lake and seeing the ducks and geese. The park is always well maintained and in good condition. It's a great place to walk with lots of trails. Our favorite duck is the Muscovy duck, because he is so unique. Today there were 12 geese along with the duck. Update: Our favorite Muscovy duck is enjoying his retirement in North Georgia. But we still see Canadian geese, egrets, green herons and mallard ducks occasionally.
Christina P — Google review
It’s a very good park and it’s a huge one. I go with my friends now and then for the walk. Used to play tennis in the past. Have been living in the area since 1996! Lots of good memories over the years and visited 100+ times over the years.

Vickery Creek Old Mill Machine Shop is a scenic park that features a covered pedestrian bridge and an overlook of a dam. It also offers interpretive trails and historic buildings to explore. The park provides a serene setting where visitors can sit on the rocks as the stream flows around them. In addition, there is a lovely bridge that allows for picturesque photo opportunities, attracting many people. However, some have criticized the limited parking options and the downhill walk from the top area.
This is one of the best park I have visited. This park is for everyone. Means if you like a walking trails there is plenty of them, if you like to be near to nature, you can enjoy the great water fall in there, if you want to spend your ME time just doing nothing. There is plenty of place you can sit in peace. If you guys want to take your kids or dogs, you can have a lots of fun. In here you can know about history and enjoy the history of this place. Parking is free but don’t have a lots of parking lot. I went on weekdays and it’s almost full. Restroom in here is also clean and hygiene. All toiletries are there. Main things is restroom smells good. Thank you for the management. If you are PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER you have to take a permit to take a photo in here. And in this pandemic all people followed the social distance. Just go there and enjoy your time. If you like please go through the picture which I have uploaded. It gives you some view of the place.

Very nice place to go and sit on the rocks as the stream flows around you. Lovely bridge to stand on and take photos as well. I saw several people taking photos here. 1 star was taken off for the parking. There is not enough places to park and walking from the top area is very down hill. There is a trail you can walk as well, but I did not check it out.
Ashley N — Google review
The covered bridge is the start of the Vickery Creek Trail, that involves stairs, a meandering path, a waterfall, and even some involuntary rock climbing. The covered bridge is lovely and well taken care of. To get to the waterfall, climb up the stairs after crossing the covered bridge, and then make a left to follow the creek. You will see another path to the left where there is a watering hole waterfall. Signage isn't very clear and there were a lot of people getting lost finding the waterfall. We hiked the southern loop, and didn't realize there is a 100 yard stretch of rocks and boulders to cross. It is a little treacherous here so wear shoes with good traction. The loop will bring you back to the bottom of the bridge.
Jessica S — Google review
Breathtaking waterfall(s), easy trails and great views added to an already beautiful Fall day! There’s plenty of parking and clean, well-lit bathrooms. The remnants of the cotton mill from the 1800s are still preserved. Well worth a visit.
S S — Google review
This is definitely in my Top 5 local parks. The history is so fascinating, it's well-maintained and respected, and a practicing photographer's dream. Not to mention, the variety of having seven miles of different trails to hike gives it great revisitation value; I've even seen weddings held on the bridge, and they look exquisite. Absolutely beautiful.
Paul N — Google review
This is hands down the most beautiful park I have ever been to! But Parking is terrible on Saturday. There is a parking lot up the street at the visitors center which is where I parked. I highly recommend parking there as it is difficult to turn around in the small triangular parking lot actually at the park and it is too crowded with people trying to find non-existent parking spaces. Even with all that mess it's still five stars because the scenery is just breathtaking especially in the fall. There's lots of informational plaques telling about the rich history of the old mill during Civil the War. Well worth the trouble in the parking lot. I would definitely bring my friends and family back here for hikes or dog walks.
Sarah W — Google review
Such an amazing park! The trails are extensive and well kept and the remains of the mill are a visual treat. One of our favorite spots around town although the terrain may pose a challenge for the less adventurous. It can get busy during peak hours, especially as the weather starts to warm.
Beau R — Google review
A nice park in a wonderful location! This park is very straight forward with the trails. If you just want to see the waterfall then take the trail on the left side. It will lead you to the waterfall. I enjoy finding a rock to sit on and read or take pictures. Many venture down to the base of waterfall but I am not as daring. If you take the path to the right you will walk through the covered bridge. This leads to all the trails. The trails are nice for trail running as they are for the most part pretty flat. There is a trail that leads to the waterfall where you can look down at it or venture to the bottom. Caution: it is very slippery and I have seen many fall. Overall, it is a good park and I like that you can choose how strenuous you want to make it. My only reason for taking a star away is the amount of trash that is now on the trail for it becoming more popular.

Azalea Park, located near the house, is a popular destination for walking or jogging alongside the river. It features a pleasant boardwalk that provides an enjoyable stroll. In addition to its scenic beauty, the park offers kayak rentals and hosts special weekends with breweries. Barbecue grills and picnic tables are abundant throughout the park, providing ample opportunities for outdoor dining. Both sides of the park feature playgrounds, including a water park playground that adds excitement during the summer months.
It is ideal spot to spend weekends with family and friends. There are many opportunities to do and nature scenes to explore. Kayaking, swimming, paddling, rowing people come here from all over Atlanta.

Great little park down by the river. Rowing teams, deer, and joggers! Peaceful. Lots of walking/jogging paths. Been going to this park since the 90s.

First time here while visiting family. The space was clean, great view of the water, area for kids to play or enjoy other activities. Parking wasn't great where we reserved space for an area that allows you hold for a certain amount of people. Outside of that, enough grills, but a little walk to the bathroom, so don't wait until the last minute 🫣

I came here to go on a walk with friends on Tuesday, 6/6/23. We parked at the playground and took the trail from there. There were plenty of people walking, but there was space for everyone. It was beautiful! Stroller-friendly! The path was pretty shaded in the beginning, but you definitely need sunscreen for the latter part! We fed our babies under the covered pavilion. Plenty of picnic tables and trash cans. I can't wait to go back!

cool place for kids to blow off steam and floor plan is big enough kidsrent on top of each other. they have a special summer family membership for $80 until 9/22/25. kids can come and jump as many times as they want for the $80 membership and I think there is a discount at the snack bar with membership.

This has been amazing for my kid. He has the monthly membership, and it has been an incredible place for him to exercise - esp for a kid who doesn't do organized sports. Also, the staff have been really wonderful, even recognizing him when he comes in. Once my kid fell playing dodgeball & was upset, the staff not only responded immediately but were also kind and sat with him while he settled from crying. They also let me know everything that happened the minute I walked in the door. Couldn't ask for more fun or better care.
Ellen C — Google review
Compared to my review of other indoor trampoline parks, Sky Zone is miles above the rest. Well lit, convenient, accessible, and ample parking, straightforward pricing, nice employees, and a clean facility. Sky Zone meets and exceeds all of the above parameters and makes looking run one a breeze. We came in and quickly filled out our waivers at the station. Paid and entered the facility. Going on a weekday, and off peak hours, we practically had the entire facility to ourselves. The actual jumping zone was extremely spacious and our kids had a blast jumping and running along. There are other fun and interesting trampoline related activities throughout the center, but the biggest draw will always be the actual trampolines. Very good time and well worth the price of entry.

It's not my experience. But my 3 grandchildren experience. They love this place & I can understand why. They have some cool thing's for kids like a pit to run & jump into to,trampoline they run & jump & like a playground fun of stuff like sliding boards & tunnels to go through I also saw a few grown-ups playing & jumping. Prices are okay. we'll let me say this if my grandchildren always enjoy it here & when they enjoy them self . I enjoy it as well!.. They have teens as employees & are friendly & always watching the kids & teens to make sure they don't get out of hand & all. They have food & snacks, drinks.
Joseph C — Google review
We did a birthday party for our little girl. The place was clean and the service was good as well. The reason I put three stars is because all kids were really disappointed (as well as the adults) that only 60 minutes are designated to jumping and using all the trampoline while the rest of the time (60 minutes) is designated to eating and sitting in the food court on the top floor. We were told that we had one hour, but no one said anything about the 60-minute rule. The manager said that this is a new rule and that nothing can be done about it. Needless to say that kids won't sit at the table for 60 minutes, so you end up going home ahead of time. It's not a good value for money, and we will definitely not be coming back there.

McDonald's is an iconic, well-established fast-food franchise renowned for its delicious hamburgers and crispy french fries. The chain has gained a reputation for offering the most outstanding customer service in the industry, which significantly enhances the overall dining experience. A friendly and courteous female employee, clad in a distinctive blue uniform, went above and beyond to assist a group of five youngsters. She exhibited kindness and even took the initiative to ensure their satisfaction during their mealtime.
This is the BEST McDonalds I have been to in a very long time. Years. The service was fast and friendly. The order was 100% correct. The fries were not tossed all over the bag, or the sandwiches made horizontally. More then 5 stars.
Caroline M — Google review
The quality of the food is good. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the food being so overpriced. The quality of the service is good also. Would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for them not abiding by the posted hours on the door and website.
Jesse S — Google review
There was multiple people working out of uniform. This store had locked people out, but then had let friends in. One of these friends was allowed to make food and pour fries into the fryer without gloves, or washing his hands. The manager was well aware of this, and looked to be encouraging it.
Skylar D — Google review
We arrived 30 minutes before closing at the drive-through. They asked if we were going to use the app, and then told us they were no longer taking orders. Is this some kind of selective service or what? Is it like this at all McDonald’s locations? If you’re not serving orders, then what exactly are you doing during those last 30 minutes? Absolutely ridiculous. I recommend the manager to check who was working that day, because it seems like they’re getting paid just to waste time.
Ira B — Google review
The staff are really nice here. Considering McDonald's food tastes nearly the same no matter where you get it from, this really makes the difference. Keep up the great work.

Cuban restaurant
Lazaro's Cuban Cuisine is a charming eatery that offers traditional Cuban dishes in an inviting atmosphere. Housed in a renovated building with vibrant decorations, the restaurant features a bar and garden area. Families can enjoy a delicious lunch together, savoring the authentic flavors of Cuba. The friendly manager warmly welcomes guests and ensures their comfort throughout their visit. Popular menu items include the Cubun sandwich and various chicken dishes, while kids can also find suitable options.
The food at Lazaro's was super delicious, and the customer service was amazing. I truly enjoyed this meal outside under the tree, and the best part of the visit was to enjoy my café con leche. I would've loved some Cuban music, but besides that It felt so relaxing! Visit Lazaro's. You will love ❤️ them.

Since moving to Georgia 6 years ago from Miami, where Cuban food was everywhere, I can finally say I found a place that feels like home. Their service is amazing, and the food is incredible. The location is perfect. We absolutely love this place. I live about an hour away, but we do not mind the drive. We've been there a few times, and we love it.

Love the quaintness of being in a converted house. It felt like we were in a grandmother’s dining room . Our server was friendly and answered all of our questions and even gave us great recommendations. The cod fritters were fried to perfection. The shrimp dish with the black beans and rice was so flavorful. The pork chop was tasty and fried to perfection. Sadly the arroz con pollo was not a fan favorite. Although plated beautifully, the rice was very sticky and not many pieces of chicken. The sangria tasted like an inexpensive bottle of wine with some cut up fruit. We also ordered the guava and cheese pastry. The crust was flaky but the cheese and guava mixture tasted a little processed. We would definitely patronize Lazaro again to try more of their tasty food.

Great cuban food. Very comparable for Cuban that we've I had in Miami. Recommend the Cubanos and Skirt Steak and chimichurri sauce. So gooood. Will have to come back here when we're in the area.

On a residential street in Roswell, Georgia, there is an unpretentious house, which is the home of Lazaro's Cuban Cuisine. Two or three parking spaces sit where the front lawn used to be and there is access to the backyard where there's ample parking for the rest of the patrons. We went in on a chilly Winter's day but on our way in we noticed that there is outside seating for when the temperature warms up. We walked into the front room where 4 or 5 tables waited patiently for patrons. The room was filled with Cuban mementos, which gave a very homey welcoming vibe. As we sat down at the table, we could glimpse more seating in the other rooms behind us. "The best thing on the menu is the Cubano sandwich" we were told. My companion did as ordered, but I decided to try the rope vieja instead. The bread on the sandwich was crisp with that perfect "crunch" of an awesome Cuban sandwich. The rope vieja was paired with steamed rice and black beans. The meat was fork tender and moist with a dense mouthful, spicy, and flavorful. We washed it down with lemonade. Highly recommended. Great service. Food came out quickly, and the vibe was chill but welcoming. Will eat here again!!!

Tonight was my second visit to Lazaro’s, a spur-of-the-moment trip with a friend, after class. Y’all. I grew up in Florida, and let me tell you, this place is the real deal. The food. The decor, the atmosphere. Omg the food. I wish I’d thought to take pictures when it was brought out, but we fell on our food like hungry feral raccoons, and by the time we came up for air, it was mostly crumbs. We got the small sampler platter for the two of us, and we gorged ourselves like hobbits. It included: three empanadas - chicken, beef, spinach + corn, a pork tamale, plantain chips, tostones con mojo, fried yuca, and ham croquetas. Let the record show that Tim “I Don’t Like Plantains” Harper not only ate most of the plantain chips and tostones, he ordered extra chips for later. I’m lucky I got any off the plate. 😆 Seriously good. We also shared a tres leches, and a guava & cheese pastry, and Cuban coffee. The tres leches was a creamy delicate confection, and I will definitely get this again. I’ve eaten many guava pastries in my lifetime, and this one was perfect. /sigh We sat on the patio under a beautiful spreading tree. It was daylight, so the lights weren’t on, but I can tell you from my previous visit, once it’s dark and the tree lights are on, it’s like a fairyland, set to a backdrop of Cuban music.

North End Kitchen & Bar is a modern eatery and bar that offers a variety of dishes such as steak, seafood, and New American cuisine along with handcrafted cocktails. Visitors have praised the restaurant for its delectable salads, flavorful soups like Chicken Tortilla, and friendly service. The establishment's diverse food and drink menus have received accolades for their creativity and quality. Additionally, guests appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and clean surroundings of the location.
My family loves coming here for birthdays and celebrations. The staff is great, the atmosphere is lively and fun. The food is always fantastic. We got the calamari, the charcuterie plate, and the Gouda fritters with pepper jelly to start. All are delicious and have nice portions. I got the Korean BBQ short rib for dinner. The portion was huge and the flavors were incredible. My dad is friends with the chef and so we got the key lime pie, the cookie pie and chocolate cake on the house for a birthday, all of which were delicious. Drinks kept coming and the pace of service is amazing. We love this place and will continue to come!

We had a superb experience at North End. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was incredible, and the vibe was on point. We were seated next to the fire pit outdoors on a clear and starry night and the ambiance was lovely. The patio was filled with guests who chatted with servers and management like old friends. We were visited by management and the chef and each of them Wanted our first visit to be perfect. The vitality in their collective spirit of hospitality and impeccable service made the experience even more welcome. They are doing something special there. The menu has great variety! We had friend green tomatoes which were some of the best I’ve ever had. We shared a pear salad with Gorgonzola cheese and it had so much flavor and balance. My dining partner had the best burger they e ever tasted-and we’ve had some burgers. My fish tacos were the stuff of dreams! I opted for the fried fish and the batter was so tasty and the fish pieces large and meaty-I crave them still. The flourless chocolate cake was a work of art. The cocktails were delicious. Such an impressive meal. We will be back.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting,but what truly made our evening unforgettable was the incredible service, especially from Natalia at the bar. She’s not just a bartender.she’s a master of her craft. Her cocktail recommendations were spot-on, and each drink was balanced, creative, and beautifully presented. You can tell she genuinely cares about making each guest feel welcome and appreciated. The food was equally impressive,flavorful, fresh, and perfectly paced between courses. Pairing the dishes with Natalia’s handcrafted cocktails took the experience to another level. Whether you’re here for a full meal or just a drink at the bar, I can’t recommend this place enough. Ask for Natalia—you won’t be disappointed!

We went to North End for my wife's birthday. Loved it! The food was amazing but even more amazing was the warmth of the people we interacted with from the valet to the head chef to our server Kylie who took such good care of us. Kylie not only suggested great dishes and drinks to go with them but also went out of her way to check on us, take our pictures etc. Many restaurants have staff who are either fake nice or do the bare minimum. North End is one of a handful of restaurants I have been to in a long time with staff who genuinely care about the guest experience. Good job!

Tapas bar
American restaurant
The Roswell Garden is a tapas bar that provides a range of appetizers, main courses, soups, and leafy dishes. It offers the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The service was excellent (commendations to DW!) and the food and coffee were delightful. I had a satisfying lunch at this cozy eatery. It is a petite establishment with attentive staff members and delectable cuisine. I visited for Sunday brunch, where I had an outstanding serving of chicken and waffles!
TLDR: We loved the food and we'll be back!! Parking is on the RIGHT side of the building. To their left is a salon, and I'm pretty sure you cannot park there for the restaurant. Today we tried: Korean Chicken Wings - A strong soy flavor, but mildly spicy and very delicious. Perfectly cooked and juicy. Lao Spicy Beef Jerky - It's our experience that Laotian/Thai style jerky is different at every restaurant. Everyone has their own recipe for it. That being said, this was delicious and I'll be ordering it again! Hanger Steak - Cooked EXACTLY medium (as requested) and it was so tender, just full of flavor. They must also soak the onions in red wine vinegar or something before cooking, they were yummy! Vegetarian Samosas - My husband's favorite dish. Made differently than most samosas, with a light spring roll type of exterior. Super tasty and crunchy, and the insides weren't dry at all. Great with a cold beer! Pork Belly Bao - Excellently cooked pork belly with complimentary ingredients, we enjoyed them a lot. The texture of the bao bun was bouncy, as it should be. I thought it was nice that they remove the seeds from the fresh jalapeño in the bao... That way, even people who can't handle spicy food will still enjoy this! Fried Chicken Bao - I love the way that this chicken is fried at Roswell Garden. The meat is hot and juicy while the breading is crunchy, light and airy. Wonderful textures and flavors overall. Fried Plantains - As a Latina myself, I can verify that these were perfectly aged plantains, fried to perfection. A+ Maduros! Cocktails: Caipirinha & Bee Sting - We liked both cocktails, but the Caipirinha is where it's at, in my opinion. I do wish my limes weren't brown, but that didn't affect the flavor of the drink at all. The ONLY downside is that I didn't get to try the flan, as they were sold out. I look forward to trying it next time! The staff at Roswell Garden is FANTASTIC. They were all so kind and our server made great suggestions. She was more than happy to guide us around the menu. We enjoyed some of her favorites. This restaurant is fairly new, and in my opinion, is a Roswell gem... They deserve success and I hope you'll get the chance to visit there soon.

The Roswell Garden proved to be the perfect destination for an evening with friends. Securing a last-minute reservation on a Saturday evening was a definite bonus. Upon arrival, we opted to sit outside to enjoy the pleasant weather and soak in the live entertainment. Shout out to Casen, his energy and vocals set the tone for sing along! Our server, despite being only on his second day, was incredibly pleasant and patient as we deliberated over our entree choices. He even recommended a few options that we ended up choosing instead of fries! We ordered a variety of dishes, including the charcuterie board, wings, Nashville chicken bao, pork belly, and Coxinha. Surprisingly, I decided to forgo ordering any desserts but instead opted for a cup of iced coffee. The overall service was great ! Additionally, it's worth mentioning that there's indoor dining and a bar available inside. They have two gender-neutral bathrooms, and parking is available on the side of the building with additional parking towards the back.

I’ve been here three times now. This location has been several things over the years in Roswell. This time the chef and new owner has it right. Great food, I’ve had the wings “the Roswell wings” and other flavors. The sauces are all homemade fresh. I’m a big sauce guy so I know my sauces and these all have wonderful fresh flavors! There chicken, no matter the order we had nuggets, wings, and other types of chicken always tender fall off the bone. The perfect way to make a wing and chicken. The flavors throughout each dish are fresh herbs you can tell in every bite. The service here is wonderful as well. Everybody’s there to help and on top of any of your needs. The atmosphere is rustic. I would call a cool local kind of place to hang out. Versus fine dining, only because of the ambience. There’s some areas in the back that could be cleaned up like get rid of the video games not sure what that’s all about. Parking, like all of Roswell, is a pain. But you can find parking in the church parking lot next-door. This is our new place to have some drinks and great apps.

Roswell Garden is all bout that fusion and was the neighborhood hangout to gather for community and kinship. The garden was perfect for a family or enjoying drinks with friends. Some of seasonal small plates I tried were their Korean chicken wings, sirloin steak, or Nashville chicken bao. AND loved using the in-house-made Champ sauce to spice up my leftovers and meals at home. I will back for coffee, lunch, and brunch on Sundays!

While out running some weekend errands, we did a quick search and stumbled upon this gem, and can't be happier about our find. From the unique, but very welcoming decor, to the friendly staff and delicious food, this place has it all! We tried a few dishes that were recommended by our awesome server, Champ, and enjoyed them all. Our favorites were the Seen Hang Beef Jerky, the Coxinha, the Pork Belly Bao, and the Brussel Sprouts. We'll definitely be back!

~~~TL;DR~~~ Had dinner here on a Wednesday night and left so full and happy! I have nothing but praise for this local restaurant. We had been meaning to try this place for months and finally got around to it and we are so glad we did. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. We were impressed and will definitely be back! Thank you! ~~~FOOD~~~ ***I HIGHLY recommend the Lao Linguica, which is a Lao sausage. It's super flavorful and moist. I had to take one home to my Lao mother and she said it was the best she's had in a longgg time and we eat Lao food regularly. Very high praise! We ordered the Lao Linguica, Sticky Rice, Nashville Chicken Tenders, Risole De Carne (Brazilian Beef Croquettes), and Bao Trio. We also met the owners and they were generous enough to comp us their Seen Hang Beef Jerky, another sticky rice, and a sample of hummus with pita bread that they are experimenting with. Everything came out fast, hot, and delicious. My favorites were the Lao Linguica, Brazilian Beef Croquettes and shrimp bao, but we finished everything that came to our table because it was all so tasty! ~~~SERVICE~~~ On top of that, the service was awesome. Both owners spent some time chatting with us about their backgrounds and someone consistently came by to make sure we didn't need anything else. The staff was super friendly and efficient. Bonus: They also happened to have a free wine tasting going on to get customer feedback on which wines to add to their menu, which is so thoughtful as an owner and really speaks to how much they care about their customers and this establishment!
Bowlero Lilburn is a bowling alley chain that offers various entertainment options such as billiards, arcade games, and snacks. Some of their locations even provide laser tag for additional fun. It is an affordable place for families and friends to hang out, with ample parking available. The arcade section provides a variety of games to play, and the food concession offers satisfying options. It is a popular venue known for hosting birthday parties.
The bowling alley was quite spacious and pleasant, though some aspects appeared slightly outdated. However, the bowling lanes themselves were well-maintained and functioned smoothly with minimal scoring errors. A good variety of bowling balls with different finger hole sizes were available. The food was enjoyable, but unfortunately, it was rather expensive. My order of a fried funnel cake, priced at $4.79, along with a fountain soda, cost over $10 before the tip. The staffs were bit rude and not welcoming.
This summer, I bowled in two leagues at different Bowlero locations and had vastly different experiences. At Bowlero Lilburn, new management implemented changes that negatively impacted my experience, including the removal of accessible ice water during league play. Instead, small, room-temperature water cups were left out on the bar, raising concerns about hygiene and freshness. My requests for alternatives—such as using my personal cup or getting a pitcher for the team—were all denied, despite beer pitchers being allowed. Additionally, the environment was often uncomfortably hot, and management was unresponsive to fan usage complaints. Despite enjoying the camaraderie of league play, the conditions at Lilburn made it clear that I will not participate in any future leagues there.
I was out with my nephew after some school testing and wanted to let off a little steam, so we decided to stop by the Bowlero bowling alley in Lilburn. Admittedly, what an awesome experience! The prices were very affordable, and we were able to get in, enjoy ourselves, and get out without any hassle. I’m honestly glad this location exists because there’s nothing else in the area that compares for good, clean, therapeutic entertainment like this. The atmosphere, the setup, and the overall vibe were just right. Huge thanks to the staff for their hospitality and owners for creating such a great space for families and friends to unwind. We’ll definitely be back!
Webb Bridge Park, nestled in Alpharetta, Georgia, is a sprawling 110-acre multi-use park that offers a range of recreational activities for visitors. The park features soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, picnic areas, and a playground. Nature enthusiasts can explore the scenic walking trails and enjoy the serene ambiance of the park's expansive green spaces.
Webb Bridge Park exceeded my expectations! The sheer size of the park is impressive, with plenty of green spaces to explore. The playgrounds are fantastic, with swings, a huge sandpit and a dedicated area for older kids with cool slides and other things to play on. The outdoor piano and outdoor musical instruments for kids are just great. There is an outdoor gym for grown ups and a dog park perfect for furry friends. Parking is convenient with plenty of space available. Restrooms are clean. There is a vending machine carrying snacks and drinks. The soccer fields are a great addition, and the shaded seating areas provide a comfortable spot to relax. This place is a hit with kids!
As an avid outdoors enthusiast who has explored and reviewed many parks, I can say Webb Bridge Park stands out as a truly family-friendly destination with something for everyone, no matter the age. I enjoyed an amazing hike here, and was impressed by how well the park is laid out—featuring walking trails, a playground, tennis courts, a baseball field, and even golfing areas. The park is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and safe, making it a pleasure to visit. Parking is plentiful and free, which makes the experience even more convenient. I especially enjoyed the children’s playground and the inviting walking trails that weave through the park’s natural beauty. Insider Tip: Some trails have steep sections and gravel, which can become slippery or muddy after rain. If you’re visiting with anyone who has knee or hip concerns, choose a trail that suits everyone’s comfort level. This park combines scenic beauty, thoughtful amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it an easy favorite for repeat visits.
It is a well laid out and modern park. Is it nice? Well it's in Alpharetta. For those who don't know, Alpharetta is no shabby place. I walkes the trails which are mostly fine gravel. The main trail is supposed to be 1.1 miles but I took all of the smaller side trails too and I added up about 2.8 miles with my step counter.
DaZid D — Google review
Beautiful park with many activities to do, even on a rainy day. There are trails, picnic shelters/tables, soccer and baseball fields, and a very large area of play equipment for kids. We loved that they had a piano and other instruments to encourage creativity with play!
I love reviewing parks, especially those that cater to all age groups and pets. Webb Bridge park is one family park that has something or the other to offer for everyone. Small kids have the play area, kids looking to hone their sports talents have the football field, tennis court and baseball field, adults have trails, elders have paved trails and last but not least, pets have the dog park. The best part is that the entire park is clean, well-maintained and safe to visit. Parking is no problem at all and it is free to visit. Important tip: Some of the trails are steep & have gravel that tends to get slippery/muddy after a rainy morning. Please be careful if you have folks with knee/hip troubles. Pick the trail that works for everyone:) And, don't miss the swings!
Sowmya — Google review
Webb Bridge Park in Alpharetta is a gem for families looking for a clean, safe, and fun outdoor space. The playground is especially impressive—shaded, thoughtfully designed, and great for kids of all ages. There's a fun sand pit area that usually has a small water stream running through it, which adds a sensory play element many kids love. Unfortunately, during our recent visit, the water stream by the sand pit was closed. It’s usually a big highlight for children, so it was a bit of a letdown not to have that feature available. There was no signage explaining the closure or when it might be reopened, which left some families wondering. Still, the rest of the park makes up for it with walking trails, sports fields, tennis courts, and plenty of green space to enjoy. The facilities are clean, and parking is ample. With the water feature restored, this park would be a solid 5 stars!
Hiking Trails
Big Creek Park is a woodland area located near GA 400 and Holcomb Bridge Rd in north Atlanta. It offers a range of outdoor activities, including mountain biking, hiking, and the use of paved trails. Maintained by volunteers from RAMBO, this park has three main mountain biking trails with different skill levels: Green for beginners, Blue for intermittent riders, and Black for experts. The rocky terrain can be challenging but dries quickly after rainstorms.
A Hidden Gem of Nature and Adventure Today’s visit to Big Creek Park was nothing short of magical. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with the sounds of nature, the laughter of visitors, and the quiet hum of cyclists gliding along the well-maintained trails. It was a day where both wildlife and people seemed to exist in perfect harmony, making the experience even more memorable. One of the park’s standout features is the boardwalk, which adds a special charm to the landscape. Strolling along it, I couldn’t help but appreciate how it seamlessly blends into the natural surroundings, offering a peaceful way to take in the beauty of the park. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely walk or a quiet place to reflect, this part of the park is a true gem. The trails were impressively neat, making them ideal for a smooth and enjoyable ride. Cyclists were out in full force, zipping through the trails with a sense of freedom that only nature can provide. If you’re looking for a great spot to bring family or friends for a scenic bike ride, this is definitely the place to be. But what truly stood out today was an unexpected yet delightful encounter with a deer and a couple of ducks in a small pond. It was as if nature had staged a charming little performance just for those lucky enough to witness it. The deer moved gracefully, unbothered by the presence of onlookers, while the ducks playfully waded through the water. Moments like these remind us of how effortlessly wildlife and humans can share the same space, each appreciating the other in quiet admiration. Big Creek Park is not just a destination—it’s an experience. Whether you come for the adventure of cycling, the serenity of the boardwalk, or the joy of unexpected wildlife encounters, it’s a place that leaves you with a deep appreciation for the outdoors. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and if you’re someone who loves nature, you’ll find something special waiting for you here too.
Awesome greenway connector and mtb trails. I wish crossing Holcomb Bridge on Old Alabama and the rest of the way to the parking lot was safer, it would connect alot of other hike and bike areas together.
Zachary E — Google review
Seemed like a great park for mountain biking! Not the best for hiking just because of lots of high speed traffic but my dog and I still had a good hike and it has great infrastructure - several bathrooms, free parking, benches, and lots of bumps and hills for the biking folks!
Shelby K — Google review
Very nice bike park. Trails are well labeled and made. They have xc as well as a small pump track and free ride section. Will definitely come back. Sadly I lost my keys on one of the trails, so if any one happens to find some mazda keys lmk, thank you.
MTB trails are excellent. There has obviously been a lot of trail work done. Kudos to those people putting in the work. Also nice walking trails.
Super fun! Was a bit confusing for my first time, lots of turns.... had a blast though. Will definitely bike again here.
One of my favorite parks to wonder in Roswell. Good mountain biking trails, and paved or raised platform walk ways be it suitable for all ages and physical conditions. Highly recommend!
Variant Brewing
Brewery
Variant Brewing is a fascinating contrast to the older breweries in Roswell, with its modern blend of wood and metal. Despite being relatively new, this independent craft brewery surpasses traditional beer expectations by offering unique and captivating flavors. In addition to their imperial stouts, Variant also offers beverages like Compos Mentis, aged in old Bourbon casks with vanilla, as well as an English-style barleywine.
Veer is always incredible, some of the best in the Atlanta metro area. Space is really nice, outdoor seating is covered with a high ceiling to block the sun while still feeling like you're outdoors. One of my favorite spots to get a drink. Also, as an aside, their glassware is fantastic.
Creed R — Google review
Very cute place with covered outdoor seating. The music was a little off because it was heavy metal rock, but if that's your grove, this is your place. Beer was great and they had a food truck setting up right outside. Limited parking.
Jessica H — Google review
What a hidden gem! I'm absolutely enchanted by their charming bear displays—each one seems carefully curated and adds such character to the space. The staff truly make the experience special too; they're friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seem to care about visitors. Whether you're a bear enthusiast or just stumbling upon this spot, it's definitely worth a visit.
Koungjin L — Google review
This is a small cute brewery. The beer is good. The location is good. But if I’m being honest the only reason I’m deducting stars is because the two ladies behind the bar were quite short and unpleasant. Perhaps they were having a bad day. But they had no issues making our party feel as though we were a burden (spoiler we weren’t ) If you want to come for a solo good beer then I recommend it but I can’t promise the bartenders will be welcoming.
Whit V — Google review
I've been drinking Variant brews for a few years now, but this was the 1st time actually visiting the brewery. What a great setup and atmosphere. My only knock is the parking (or lack thereof). I got lucky and got an open spot, but they have like 10 or so spots in front of their location. Other than that, the staff and beers are great!
Jay Y — Google review
I am so happy that I just discovered this place and it's a good place to have a beer with family and friends. As a sampler, it costs about $3-4 per cup, so you can try various things and also order half and full of cup. The inside space is clean and there are plenty of tables outside, so no worries about seating, but the parking lot seems to be not enough. I visited on a Sunday and it was good to have a pizza with beer🍕🍺
Yujin J — Google review
It was a quick stopover for a beer after the visit to Vickery Creek Falls. Smartly done place, good beers, helpful staff - enjoyable few moments at this place! Cool merchandise on display as well. The unique glass for the beer is what took our attention. The brewery at the end of the building was really well maintained. It was hot so we had to sit inside - but I am sure outside would be as enjoyable! Must visit for sure 😍🍻
A top-notch brewery in Roswell! I love spending time outside in the sunshine with a Flavor Mechanics IPA in-hand. The staff are passionate, attentive and friendly. Their draft selection is expansive with new variants showing up every week. Every time I take a sip I think, 'dang, this is a good beer'.
Stuffed Crust at Domino's 🤯 We love cheese in our crust & couldn't wait to try it. This store did such an amazing job 👏🏾 Fresh&Fast!
Ordered pizza at 6:03, out of oven at 6:15. Arrived at 7:15 incomplete, COLD, DRY. Tried to contact store and sat on hold for 10 minutes. Why do we put up with service like this? For $5.00 more we could have gone out to eat. We are too complacent and allow businesses like this to stay open. Order 371 on 4/24/25 Very Dissatisfied.
Doug J — Google review
Last time they took over 3 times the time estimated to deliver the food and wouldn’t answer the phone when we wanted to cancel. Sandwich was botched I think it might’ve been old. Usually mistakes like this happen and they offer a free pizza for inconvenience. Time to switch to papa johns
I've made three delivery orders this past week and only one was delivered. They lied and said that the first was otw when it was never made. The second one I ordered for delivery and they changed it to pickup. This is incredibly unprofessional and no one is offering any solutions. If you don't want to starve, never order from here. Horrible management. Fix your store or shut it down because you obviously don't know how to run it. Sick and tired of it. My "driver" was DARIEN.
My family and I placed an order at this location 1007 Alpharetta St.Roswell GA, and waited over two hours for delivery. When I called to inquire about the delay, I was met with an employee whose behavior was unprofessional hostile and shockingly rude. The employee, first accused us of not having an order on file. After finally locating the details, he proceeded to unilaterally cancel the order and then hung up on me, stating, "I have no time for this." I attempted to call back immediately but received the same hostile response. This entire interaction showed a complete lack of professionalism, respect, and basic customer service. My family and I were left without dinner and are truly shocked by the aggressive and dismissive attitude of the staff. An employee who treats customers this way should not be in a customer-facing role. Here we come Pizza Hut...
Joseph H — Google review
Ordered food half an hour ago, sat in “quality check” for 20+ minutes then they told me it won’t leave for another 25-30 minutes. Told me I’d have to repay for my order if I wanted to pick it up instead. I asked if I could cancel my order and I got hung up on. If you don’t want to do your jobs, then just quit instead of ruining everyone’s experience. No wonder this location has mainly negative reviews.
Payton M — Google review
If I could give them 0 stars I would. Horrible service. Over an hour for delivery. Manager wont answer the phone. He says "please hold" and switches off before you can speak. Pizza got here cold and soggy.
Wine bar
Restaurant
Nestled on Canton Street, VIN25 is a charming New American restaurant that offers an intimate dining experience paired with an impressive wine selection. With over 200 wines sourced from around the globe, this cozy spot is perfect for a romantic evening or a special date night. The rustic interior exudes warmth, while the outdoor patio provides a beautifully lit space to enjoy your meal al fresco.
The restaurant is small and super comfortable and cozy. The drinks are very good too. The food was delicious. I recommend sitting at the bar, it's really cool. The waiters give you their full attention.
We’ve been coming here since the very early days but I’ve never done a review. The wine list and service has always been great. The food menu has matured and the food is outstanding. We made a visit tonight and it didn’t disappoint. I forgot our servers name but he was top notch and the food was excellent. The pimento cheese fritters and cauliflower and brussel sprouts are always superb.
Rodney T — Google review
I wish I could leave a good review about Vin 25 because it is a Roswell staple but I can not. They changed our 6:45 reservation to 7:15 via EMAIL. It was sheer luck that I checked my email as we were walking out the door. The email arrived at 5:45. So, quite short notice. Then when we arrived the restaurant was near empty. So, I asked why they changed our reservation and they said it just happens. They must have been low on staff because I ordered a glass of wine and my husband ordered a Manhattan and it took forever for our drinks to arrive. Our server did apologize for the wait. For dinner I ordered the salmon with risotto, which is the most expensive item on the menu. The salmon was seared crispy on one side and otherwise was just a plain ol' filet of salmon. The risotto was crunchy rice in a sauce that was equally bland. My husband had the duck confit and he said it was uninspiring. Lastly, I put on my reservation that I was coming to Vin 25 for my 50th birthday. They never acknowledged it. They just handed us the check when we said we didn't want coffee. As we were leaving, I asked if they did anything for birthdays and they said they did. I was really looking forward to this special dinner at Vin 25 for my birthday. It really put a damper on it. We ended up going to Dairy Queen for Blizzards to celebrate my 50th as our experience at Vin 25 was so bad.
Vin 25 in Roswell is a charming spot that’s just right for a cozy evening work sesh. We enjoyed the heated patio, which made for a comfortable setting even as the evening got cooler. The pimento cheese balls and the cheese board delicious and beautifully arranged. The service was excellent. Vin 25 has a welcoming ambiance that’s perfect for a casual night out or even a productive work meeting. Adorable and charming spot surrounding you with mature trees and lush greenery.
I love this place! Been here for several times. We love the atmosphere, service and the food is really good! Great for a date night or a few friends! Small and quaint.
Kristen T — Google review
In truth, I was not going to leave this review as it is a principle of mine to leave bad experiences in the past and draw light to those that were good. However, the more I thought of the events that transpired the greater the conviction to write this review became. I will start by admitting we did make the mistake of arriving a bit early before they opened at 5 PM. We were exhausted because I flew in to visit my mother that morning and we subsequently spent the day shopping and hiking. As you can imagine we were tired and hungry so we rushed to our reservation excited to follow up a great day with dinner at an establishment which boasted phenomenal reviews. In our haste it slipped our minds that the restaurant was closed for about another 20 minutes, so when we opened the door and was promptly rushed out with the owner having a not too welcoming attitude it was understandable and we agreed to wait at a table outside until opening. Unfortunately, she still seemed flustered and unwelcoming as 5 PM rolled around,arriving at our table to bring the menus as well as noting the hostess/sever (her daughter) was running late as usual. She added the quip to not hire family and we thought to ourselves surely it couldn’t be that bad. We therefore assumed that perhaps they were just having an off day and decided this wouldn’t determine the outcome of the rest of our meal. A few more minutes passed and the hostess arrived to take our order with a less than pleasing attitude, to say she was inattentive would be too high praise. She hurriedly took our order with a rushed and sour disposition. Then brought the food out shortly after with a similar attitude. My mother immediately noticed her salmon was undercooked but decided to try it anyways because we second guessed what our eyes were seeing. After a few unpalatable bites and slicing into it we came to the realization the salmon was completely raw in the center (as pictured). We tried to get someone’s attention but the hostess, bartender, and basically most other staff were just chatting by the bar immersed in their own conversation. I did not want to get up with dinnerware on the table as another issue was that the chairs and tables for the outdoor seating are quite uncomfortable due to them being on uneven cobblestone and it placed us in an awkward situation where every time we got up it caused the table and chairs to shake. So, I called the restaurant and after many rings a young man in the group by the bar answered. I explained the predicament and asked if our sever could come a moment, he did not even let me finish fully before without saying a word I could see him drop the phone from his ear and mention in exasperation that I was calling. The server hesitated to come out with a sigh of frustration herself. The overall attitude of the staff was off putting and unprofessional. None of them should be employed there. My mother caught on earlier than I did because I was intent on enjoying our time there. I kept making up excuses until that point as we were clearly being treated abhorrently for reasons we could not fathom since we were polite even in the face of their indifference and said very little for the time we were there. The hostess/server did come out eventually and we conveyed the issue after which she promptly took the dish back to the kitchen. After having a brief conversation my mother and I decided we’d just pay the bill and dine elsewhere. I went inside to ask for the check and the same man (perhaps the bartender) that answered the phone said “she is coming in” with an air of animosity. I explained I was coming in to pay our check and leave. This is when the owner came out to try and explain that they were inquiring with the kitchen as to what transpired and if we wanted to leave she would not allow us to pay. We went back and forth insisting on paying but she refused to take any payment and we left. It would have been a predictable outcome had we just read the few one star reviews and believed them. I highly suggest you do that!
Took my mother here for her birthday and we had such an amazing time. The food , the service and the atmosphere were incredible. Andrew and Christy make the best drinks and they are so welcoming with incredible personality. I definitely recommend this place !
Good atmosphere and very cozy. I had a date dinner with my husband. We started with drinks (Lebanese red wine totally recommend) and ordered one entree and one snack (risotto with scallops and peppers filled with short ribs). The food was so delicious that we ordered one more entree (lamb). We finish our night with a particular dessert (pumpkin donuts w/ sprinkled bacon). Service was excellent and very clean place We will go back again to continue tasting their delicious dishes
Brewpub
Nestled in a vibrant setting, From the Earth Brewing Company is a delightful New American brewpub that seamlessly blends seasonal gastropub cuisine with an impressive selection of on-site brewed beers. This establishment goes beyond just being a microbrewery; it offers a culinary journey that emphasizes farm-to-table freshness.
We came here on a Saturday night and only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. They have a pretty good beer selection. My group ordered the Brussel sprouts for an appetizer, and everyone at the table thought they were very good. My friends ordered burgers while I had the house salad with chicken. This is mixed greens on a bed of hummus. The chicken portion was small but good. The salad was tasty. My friends loved their burgers. Our server was attentive and friendly.
Service was so great. Atmosphere was wonderful. Had the chicken. It couldve had more flavor to it. Bit bland for me but wasnt too bad at all. Entire dish was good just not great. Will def come back.
I have been here probably about 6 times. Usually it’s good all around. There was 1 when my fries were so salty they weren’t edible. And the second to last time I came with a girlfriend and it took at least 30 min for someone to come to our table. Eventually the staff realized there was a misunderstanding of who was going to serve our table and they made up for it by giving us our drinks for free. We were happy about that and it didn’t bother me at all that there was a wait. So months later I wanted to see their Halloween decorations. I came here again on a slow afternoon. Our server seemed like he really didn’t want to be there, and the fried fish I ordered was so overcooked it looked like fried chicken and was tough. I didn’t complain about that. But then it took AGES for the server to come back with our boxes and check. Which made no sense to me because it wasn’t even close to busy. So I had to wait at the host desk to request this. I used to enjoy coming here but now… not so much. :/ There seems to be a new pattern of so-so service and it’s a gamble with the food. I’ve lost my appetite for From The Earth unfortunately.
June B — Google review
Well the beer was pretty good! We showed up on Mother's Day without a reservation when they were really busy. We decided to sit at the bar. Our waitress was lovely. Very kind and attentive. However, our food order was way backed up and we spent more than an hour waiting. Once we got our food, the order was not true to the menu. For instance, a chicken sandwich was bare (no pickles, mayo, sauce or cole slaw). They compensated us for half and I was grateful that they acknowledged the mistake. They have only been doing brunch for a few weeks, I would give them a little more time to work out kinks and it's going to be a great little joint in the burbs!
Cashelle R — Google review
Well, you can't miss this brewery with its massive clock tower marking the way. Outside seating, inside seating and a long bar, it was relatively full for a Sunday afternoon. I learned that they have their own chef from New Orleans, and we only had an appetizer there, but if the rest of the food is anything like that dish, I know why it is busy! Great beer, great food, no compliants! Definitely worth the visit!
We had such a great experience at From the Earth Brewery! The food was absolutely delicious — especially the fried green tomatoes, quinoa salad, and the vegan meatloaf. The meatloaf was superb, served with lion’s mane mushrooms and topped with a flavorful tomato sauce that tied everything together beautifully. The space has a fun, welcoming vibe — it’s definitely a brewery, but still cozy and family-friendly. We visited during Halloween, and the decorations were fantastic, adding to the great atmosphere. Highly recommend for both plant-based eaters and anyone who enjoys fresh, creative food in a relaxed setting!
