Event venue
Gas South Arena is a versatile 13,000-seat venue that hosts an array of events including concerts, sporting events, ballet, rodeos, conventions and trade shows. The arena has welcomed renowned artists like Paul McCartney, Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli. Visitors have praised the well-organized setup of the arena and its convenient parking facilities. Guests attending concerts have appreciated the smooth arrival process and excellent views from their seats.
An amazing experience to be able to go to my first ever concert with my oldest son. We went to see Sleep Token's first concert for their 2025 tour in the USA. This place was easy to park and easy to get out. The facility was as good as you could wish for comfort and cleanliness. Looking forward to come back for more.

Came here to see Nine Inch Nails and was NOT disappointed. This place was very efficient, clean, and fully staffed. I was happy to see all the food choices with friendly people. We were up on the second floor and could still hear everything well. It had a more intimate feel. A lot of times when you sit on a second floor the magic of the concert can be lost because of bad sound quality or not being able to see good. I liked how everything was set up. This place was fabulous.
Laura — Google review
This is our second time attending a concert here. Both times have been great experiences. The entire complex is very clean and kept nice. The parking garages are very close to the building so it's an easy walk. The staff are quick at getting everyone through the lines and inside the building. All of the staff we dealt with were extremely friendly. Would highly recommending attending an event here.
Zack T — Google review
Great venue. Looks like every seat had a great view! Plenty of food vendors that moved quickly. Clean bathrooms! Took a star away for parking! Easy in, GROSS out. We sat trying to get OUT of the parking lot long than the dang concert! Next time would 1 do valet or 2 park near an exit and walk. Police "help" was awful/non-existent!
Julie C — Google review
Nice venue however the seats in front of us were folding chairs like on the ground level and didn't have cup holders like people seated left and right of us. Nonetheless, the ticket price is the same. Bathroom lines are long. Concession lines are long but go fast. Handicapped parking in front and center. Wasn't bad exiting.
Dorsha ( — Google review
This arena hosts the Atlanta Gladiators. Great atmosphere. Clean restrooms. Excellent food and beverage choices. Friendly staff. Only two concerns. A patron dropped a whole slice of pizza and left it. No one from Gas South was available to clean up the pizza. Another patron had to go get paper towels and clean it up. A person was vaping in front of us. Ushers were told. But nothing was done. I know it’s not smoke, but I still dislike seeing the game through a haze.
LD S — Google review
Went to the Sleep Token show here last night and loved this venue. As someone who has been to numerous shows and different venues, this one is definitely up top. I love how it was secluded in its own area with hotel accommodations and food options either right beside or nearby. Parking was super accessible and efficient, staff was friendly, place was clean, great seating, prices were very reasonable. 10/10 venue and wish there were more like it!
Davin D — Google review
This was my second time at Gas South Arena and it has easily become one of my favorite venues. Everything is run so smoothly and the communication between staff and attendees is great. First time was for NCT 127, this time was for Sleep Token and Thornhill! We were in line and seated promptly. Staff were very pleasant and informative. I also appreciate the pricing of the food and drinks. Yes it's expensive but it's not price gouging like many places. I also really like the layout of the building and find it easy to get around and get where I need to go.

Ice skating rink
The Atlanta IceForum is an outdated men's arena where a granddaughter plays on a hockey team. The facility has two ice rinks, one of which offers a glassed-in view of hockey games from the bar. They also provide ice skating lessons for all ages and rent out skates if necessary. The venue features a lounge that serves delicious food, including excellent fries and chicken fingers, as well as beer.
Patrick and his son are a fabulous team running the pro shop with exceptional customer service, and professional, experienced skate fitting skills! Patrick measured my feet, found my size, had me identify any areas that were tight, then stretched and created room in the toe box with tools and the heating process. He was very helpful, friendly, and informative about describing the process. He was also very sensitive with his language when helping me create room for my oddly shaped feet, and in no way exclaimed about the difficult shape or made me feel embarrassed in any way. (One foot is a half size bigger than the other and I have some mild bone deformities.) What's even more amazing is that while he gave me the thorough attention the fitting process requires, I watched him expertly juggle several other customers with grace and efficiency. For someone who's able to multitask so well, he was never stressed, hurried or rushing any details. He has a very fun community of people in and out so if you're there for a while getting fitted, you will have fun! I would highly recommend Patrick for your skate fitting needs. My skates fit perfectly on my (deformed) feet 😂. He's downright artful with his skate fitting craftsmanship!
Ultra V — Google review
Needs a remodel, terrible parking, bathroom smells like the devil's butthole, awkward layout, tiny locker rooms. You'd think in such a populated area, they could afford some updates and maintenance.
Phil N — Google review
My granddaughter plays on a Hockey team there. Place is dated but it is a men's arena. Yes...she plays on a men's team. She's been playing since she was 12. They dont discriminate. They have a lounge upstairs, they serve pretty good food, some people say the fries are excellent, great chicken fingers, definitely serve beer. There are 2 ice rinks. One on each end of bldg. One rink you can watch hockey game from the bar, it's all glassed in. You can get ice skating lessons from kid's to adults. They rent skates if needed. There are other activities worth looking into for family time together. Can get a bit pricey if you rent equipment. Small shop selling hockey items and other things
MARY — Google review
Things have gone WAYYY down hill after coach hoops left. The workers don’t know how to add screws for skates, the skate sharpening costs as much as the entree fee of 15 freaking dollars, it may not seem much but places like center ice have it down for less than ten dollars and it’s almost four hours worth of skating. Not only that they don’t even offer average skate sizes of women’s eight, I had to go buy them from the actual app for 500 dollars which previously would have been 250 when coach hoops was there. We’re moving skating rinks, goodbye ice forum. I know things are just going to keep going downhill to save yourself some money while it lasts.
Princess L — Google review
Great indoor place to bring the whole family to ice skate and enjoy some snacks! Bring your warm coats, gloves and hat though, even if you just observing!…. It’s cold!
Ben C — Google review
Our 7 year old started hockey here when he was 6...he ABSOLUTELY loves it! The coaches & staff are kind! His 9 year old sister loves it too! We bought her ice skates & she wants to start figure skating classes! Great food & drinks upstairs :)
Kathy B — Google review
The guys in the shop were incredibly rude and inattentive. Wouldn’t have even known they worked there when I walked in. They just sit around and watch tv while ignoring all the customers.
Cami S — Google review
Went for date night and we enjoyed ourselves. As amateurs, this place is okay. The rink could have had more ice on it and the skates were definitely worn. The place seems a little run down but it still did the job. They charge $12 admission and $6 skate rental fee. They have a parking lot so free parking. Wouldn't mind going back

Historical landmark
McDaniel Farm Park is a historical park located in Duluth, GA, that was once a cotton farm in the 1930s. It boasts various historic buildings and equipment from that era, all surrounded by multiple-purpose trails. This park offers visitors a leisurely stroll through time, allowing them to witness how the McDaniel family lived until 1999.
We had something else to do in the area this morning, so I got out my fluffy pom-pom hat and got some miles in. I've been wanting to get here for years. What a great park. Nice wide paced trails with options for shade when it's warmer. There's a variety of covered picnic tables and swings along the way. Just don't trip over the deer. 😉 We literally walked threw a herd of 13 and saw several more in another area. They're not skiddish, but don't get too close. They're not for petting. It was a peaceful space, but for more action there's also a dog park and playground. We got some nice pictures of the farmhouse, barns, farm equipment graveyard and bridges. Highly recommend for getting away from it all even if it's just for a few minutes.

We loved this park! We enjoyed a walk here Mother's Day weekend 2025 and it was lovely. It was a tad chilly, so we needed our light jackets. We brought our dog Oskar with us and enjoyed such a beautiful walk along the water, in the forest, up to the house and farm buildings, around the gardens... It was awesome! I would even love to return on a hot summer day because the walk in the forest under the tree cover would keep us cool... Absolutely worth it!
Paige C — Google review
I took my dog to McDaniel Farm Park and I must say that I was slightly impressed. There are a couple of really nice fenced in runs. One for large dogs and another for smaller animals. There are trees for shade and the grassy area was nice, clean and large enough for a good run It was easy to find, easy to park and an easy walk to the dog runs. I noticed a lot of folks walking their dogs on the trails and then stopping by the run for some off the leash fun. Overall I would say this is a find. I will definitely be back with my boy. He gives it a 4 paw. His highest score. Lol

A delightful step back in time! McDaniel Park offers a charming glimpse into farm life with its historic buildings and peaceful trails. Great for a relaxing stroll and soaking in some local history. Well-maintained and a lovely escape.

Now this is an amazing playground and nature park. My kids adore the playground and often ask to go there as they are huge fans of the tractor. We walked the trails once and it was really nice. We also toured the old house that’s there and that was cute and fun! There are tons of deer out there too which startled us at first as we walked into a group of about 4 of them in the woods.
Z H — Google review
Beautiful place. Trees and a bubbling creek make it very relaxing. A few up hill gradients either on the main path or off into the woods just enough to get the heart rate up but nothing difficult.

Lovely park with many paved and unpaved trails. Very clean and kept up. Plenty of parking and bathrooms. Lots of benches, swings, tables around.

6S Brewing Company is a delightful spot that truly stands out among local breweries. With its immaculate environment and friendly staff, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Guests can enjoy a variety of games at their tables while sipping on delicious hard ciders and unique beers like Hefeweizen-Orange-Guava. The brewery is also dog-friendly, making it an ideal outing for pet owners.
We always have a great time (and excellent beers) at 6S. We hosted our daughter's 1st birthday here and our friends and family had a blast! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating and our company really enjoyed the beers. There were lots of games for the kids and we were able to enjoy the playground after. Win-win for all ages! Thanks for 6S for a memorable time! Would give 6 stars if we could!
Randy B — Google review
Nice brewery! Had a Hefeweizen-Orange-Guava (H.O.G.) and an IPA while here. The beer is tasty but didn’t quite earn five-stars; I’ll visit again soon enough and potentially upgrade my rating after trying a few more styles as I see potential. The space itself is very nice and the stools are high quality. The Dutch woman behind the bar was very friendly and attentive; having lived in the country for close to a year it was nice to randomly meet someone from there. There’s board games on several of the tables, but that could also theoretically take up valuable space so you may be putting them back to open up room. Overall, very nice brewery in a quality space with a good tap list of options.

We hosted my husband's birthday here with a private event last week, and it was AWESOME! Scheduling and coordinating with the owners was super easy and straightforward. Everything day-of was perfect, and all of our guests loved the space, the beer, and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend 6S as a place for a casual hang or a celebration. The space is fun and comfortable, the staff is wonderful, and the beer is great -- a good time is basically guaranteed!

We hosted a Welcome party for our son‘s wedding at 6S. Family and friends couldn’t say enough about what a perfect venue it was for hosting an event. The atmosphere was fun, the drinks provided by brewery were wonderful and we were able to bring in our own food as well, which made our event exactly what we had envisioned.

We've been seeing this little brewery every time that we go through Duluth, and say that we HAVE to go there ... Next Time. Well, today was Next Time, and I wish that we had gone sooner! Lots of different styles and all of them were excellent. Do yourself a favor and visit them for a beer or two, or maybe grab a burger or pizza and make a meal of it!

6S Brewing Co. is by far one of my favorite Brewing companies. I had a wonderful time! The place is super clean and very well kept, they have great staff that knows their stuff (and they're great company to chat with), they have little games on the tables, DOG FRIENDLY, and even some cool apparel. I mostly drink hard ciders, and WOW... They are tasty!! I highly recommend this place. It's always a good time! I'm glad I had my camera with me that day. Hopefully I'll be able to get some video content next time I go. Cheers!

Bunten Road Park is a recreational area equipped with various sports fields and courts, playgrounds, walking trails, and a community center. The park is renowned for its outstanding cleanliness and maintenance. It offers ample field availability and features a scenic one-mile-long trail that encompasses the entire park. Additionally, there is a separate nature trail branching off from the main running path. This picturesque trail provides a pleasant running experience while maintaining a relatively low level of foot traffic.
Big well maintained park in Duluth. Too many activities can be done at this park, there is a soccer fields baseball field & playground outdoor and I’m sure too many things in door as well. Walking Trail is short (only one mile). Many parking lots.

I brought a small group of 8 children from the summer camp program I work at and I was told that no other programs are allowed to have their kids play at a PUBLIC playground. They said that because their program may have activities at the playground they do not allow any other children from other programs to play there. There was no one at the playground. It was completely empty. What difference would it make if I just brought 8 of my family’s kids to play? Would they ask me to leave then? As a counselor who wanted his kids to get some exercise and time in the sun, it’s totally unreasonable for a policy like this to exist. I’ve never been kicked out of a public playground for anything close to this reason. Will not be attending that playground with my family or registering for any program there again.

Very well maintained park. This is close to my son’s school and we walk here daily. Has lots of amenities and is also used by City of Duluth for their summer camp and tennis classes.
Mukesh M — Google review
Good park for a quick walk. A clean 1 mile loop that goes around sport fields and has a small nature trail. The tennis courts look good. Interested to play but have to find out how to request permission to enter. Not sure if there’s a membership.

I absolutely love this park. It's always clean and well maintained. There is always fields available, and if not, there is a beautiful one mile long trail around the park. There is also a short nature trail which branches off the main running trail. The trail itself is beautiful and very pleasant to run, usually it's not too busy either. If you're coming here by car there is plenty of space to park, and if it's a family day out, there is even a playground for kids.
Daniel M — Google review
Easy 1 mile walk with plenty of places to rest, nice facilities overall with occasional wildlife viewing. The only issue is that the asphalt pavement is in dire need of repairs, very uneven.

This park is super complete, they give karate classes, there is a gym, there is a baseball and softball fields · Soccer fields · Walking trails · Playgrounds · Indoor basketball courts · Tennis ... It is a good place to walk, meditate, do yoga, run, for a picnic, for beautiful photos, well the perfect place to be in contact with nature.

Restaurant
O4W Pizza is a casual eatery known for its rustic, New Jersey–style pizzas. Originally from Duluth, the restaurant has gained a loyal following in town for its signature grandma's pie and other pizza varieties. The crust strikes the perfect balance between chewy and crispy, making it a standout compared to other popular pizzerias in Atlanta. Whether you're craving crispy thin crust or juicy Detroit style deep dish, O4W Pizza has got you covered with incredibly delicious options.
The pizza was so fresh and yet still very fast. Very yummy and had a great lunch here. It was during the week so it was mostly empty and we had the place to ourselves. We customized a veggie pizza and loved the oregano herb mix they sprinkled on it all. We also had the cheesecake which was pretty good. Only downside was they had the doors open and there were a lot of flies. Definitely gave you that 20th century neighborhood pizza place vibes. But also a bit annoying.
Asiah K — Google review
They have a variety of slices to-go here which is nice. You can't get that at other local pizzarias. The place and floors look a bit dirty inside. We sat outside. The outdoor rectangular tables surfaces are old and worn. Service is confusing here. One guy who makes pizza asked me what I wanted, told him my pizza order, then was about to add something else to it but he looked away and started working the dough. Then the cashier asked me what I ordered. Who am I ordering from here? I ordered a large sausage pizza and a soda, and the male cashier who rang me up didn't give me a cup. I had to ask him for it. Didn't see tops for cup. Pizza tasted good. I threw up the night I ate this pizza but not sure whether it was due to food here or some ice cream I ate afterwards. I did just read their September 2024 food inspection report which showed that they had mozzarella cheese and sausage dated older than 7 days. Makes me reconsider coming here again.
S J — Google review
I think their pizza is better than New Haven, Connecticut! The crust is so flavorful. They offer so many varieties of slices. 1000 out of 10. I got luck enough they had one cheese and Grandma slice left tonight, right before closing. Which I happily ate in my car. Yum, please never move

What a ripoff... Ordered half Jersey Round ($18) / half The Works ($26). Expected to pay $22. They charged me the full price for a whole Works. I kindly asked to adjust the price and that it doesn't look right. She then adjusted the price to $27 and said I can either pay that or the price for the Works... The pizza I received was more of a 2/3 Jersey Round, 1/3 The Works. I've been coming here for years, but that was the last time for sure!

Ok let me start off by saying that this place is simply delicious. The staff are clearly dedicated to the restaurant and to the food. They are super friendly and hardworking. The atmosphere is not in any way bad, there just isn't much. Here, the focus is on the food. The salad we had was super fresh and delicious. The Caesar dressing was creamy and flavorful. The cheese on the salad was super high quality and very tasty. The wings were very good. And then, the pizza. We had a spicy sausage Grandma pie and a regular Grandma pie. They were simply fantastic. The crust was amazing. The sauce was quite excellent. And again the cheese was just so fresh, high quality, and delicious. I will be back to this restaurant soon and I highly recommend that you go there as often as possible! :)
Ben G — Google review
Not only is this pizza completely over hyped, but the manager lady is extremely rude and short. Got 3 pizzas and two appetizer - all but the Grandma Pie was under salted and seasoned. If you like soggy unflavored pizza served by people that don’t want you there, this pizza spot is the place for you. Will not be returning, not even for the grandma pie.

This used to be one of our favorite places but it has really gone downhill. I think there was a change in ownership. Service is absolutely terrible, food quality has gone down as well. I tried calling to place a carryout order - nobody answered and the mailbox is full. I ended up placing the order online and when I showed up a half hour later they "didn't see" that the order had come in so they hadn't even started it. There were only about 10 customers in the restaurant at the time, not busy at all. The lady at the front never apologized, never smiled, not friendly whatsoever. Kitchen staff are the same. Everyone seems miserable and just don't care about the customers at all. Very disappointing for a place I used to love!
Nate G — Google review
Phoned in a to-go order. When I arrived a gentleman was casually leaning on the counter where one pays. He was chatting it up with a customer that was seated off to the side. I waited and when he finally turned to acknowledge my presence, I smiled and let him know I was picking up an order. He literally looked completely bothered and offended by my presence and gruffly asked me my name and details of my order. I started to tell him that I wanted to add another item, but he just quickly walked off to pull my pizza box off the top of the oven. When he returns to the counter he haphazardly throws my pizza on the counter. I repeat that I wished to order another item. He looks at me with increased offense, snatches the pizza box off the counter, and as he is walking away to throw the pizza back on top of the ovens tells me that the woman standing at the POS screen can help me. This was not my first time dining at O4W Duluth and I hadn't previously received this type of treatment. I was certainly taken aback by the dismissive and arrogant disposition of this individual. Turned out he was the owner!!!! As a NY transplant, I appreciated the quality of the pizza (esp the texture and flavor of the crust), but I will not return knowing that an owner behaves with such audacity with his customers.

The restaurant also offers valet parking and self-parking options for convenience. Overall, visitors have enjoyed the upscale atmosphere and top-notch service at Frankie's The Steakhouse.
Had another fabulous dining experience at Frankie’s last night! As always, we were treated like valued guests and given excellent service by Jeff, Luis, and Kezia! Our glasses were never empty and food was brought out perfectly timed. The fillet and lamb ordered by two of our party were cooked perfectly to order and the dessert (a salted caramel chocolate pie) was beyond delicious! Thanks to Frankie’s for maintaining excellent service and food!!

It was a great experience and our service team Patrick, Daniel and James were just fabulous and professional. I’ve already recommended to friends and will continue to do so. We will definitely be back! 5 stars!! **Also, best lobster bisque EVER!

This was the PERFECT way to spend date night! The location was easy to navigate. The atmosphere passes the vibe check, definitely upscale, be sure to check on dress code before arriving. Our servers Maceo and Travis were PHENOMENAL! They were very intentional with serving us and knowledgeable about the menu which helped to make our selections a lot easier. It seemed like they were reading our minds and showed up reasonably to our table without being overly attentive while allowing us to enjoy our time. Which is a plus for us! The food was DELICIOUS! Flavorful and cooked to perfection! I would say the Lobster Bisque soup was my favorite! I don’t have much photos, we were too busy enjoying the experience in real time. 10/10 would recommend!!

His attentive, kind, and respectful service made our meal truly memorable. We began with the Fritto Misto as an appetizer, which was a delightful surprise. I opted for the lamb chops, Mac and cheese, and corn soufflé. Each dish was cooked to perfection, and everything was simply amazing. It was a 10/10 experience all around. Frankie’s the steakhouse truly exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to return and create more unforgettable memories there.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing team service, amazing food. Our team was Jenna, Perry and Edward. All great and worked in unity to take care of us. One was always cleaning and refilling drinks, one did an excellent steak presentation and one and excellent welcome. Staff knows their stuff and light humor but not too much to interrupt our time together. We were celebrating and it was the perfect celebration!

My son and I had dinner here before a concert for his birthday dinner and everything from start to finish was amazing. The hostess, server assistants, and Josh and Seema were outstanding. Their attention to detail and recommendations on food and drinks were perfect. This was easily one of the best restaurants for food and quality of service I've been to. I highly recommend Frankie's.

We sat at the bar before a concert @ the arena. Great experience, great food and great bartenders. They were exceptional in offering their recommendations. Food was amazing!! Highly recommend. So close to the gates at the arena - you can walk after dinner to the concert. TJ, Courtney and Brent were exceptional! We will be back soon!

Laid-back, vibrant cantina with live music serving Tex-Mex food, margaritas, beer & wine.
The staff was amazing and the food was on point as well. Can’t help but suggest it to anyone who wants to eat out with a large group of people like me and my coworkers did.

Good was good and there was j beaut on a Saturday night but the service was horrible. The waiter told us about 5 times that we were his last table and he couldn’t leave until we were done. He also cut us off when ordering a few times which was extra rude. I still rated 4 stars though because all of the food was good and the manager was visible on the floor trying to ensure everyone was happy.
The C — Google review
Service was prompt, and waitress was friendly. I ordered the shrimp skillet and it was good. I ordered some queso which was slightly warm to be generous...I definitely would have enjoyed it better hot. I didn't complain because I don't like to complain unless it's something major, so thus the deduction of 1 star. Definitely think they could ensure all orders come out hot and fresh- especially since I stopped in during a downtime and there were maybe 3 other people at tables and a few at the bar. Overall, I enjoyed their food and atmosphere. The music was good.

We had a good service from our waiter / bartender! Queso and salsa was yummy and they have ton of taco options to choose from. Love their outdoor setup and nice decor inside.

Excellent Tex Mex food, the lobster Taco was very good, the guacamole was fresh and delicious. Good find!

This place was just trash. I usually never post bad reviews but this was unbelievable. They had just gotten through a rush before the Miranda lambert concert, which was fine, except our waiter was snappy and unhelpful (our first time here). We were left waiting at the door after a lady spoke to us, seated by a table of extremely loud, drunk ladies, and our waiter didn’t listen nor answer any of our questions. The salsa and chips weren’t complimentary. They got one of our orders wrong three times while the same waiter kept assuring us that it was indeed what we ordered. No refill for our one basket of chips (supposedly one basket per salsa, we had three). Also, they took one of our plates before we finished eating (big surprise it was the order they got wrong thrice. Overall would never eat here again nor recommend. Will be warning people away from here.
Karissa L — Google review
Saw a concert at the Infinite Energy Arena and walked over to check this place out. The chips were the best I've ever had and the Guacamole seemed very fresh. The Chicken Taquitos were delicious but more like a lightly fried mini chicken burrito. We really liked them. Food was great...service was abysmal. We sat at the bar...there were 2 Bartenders and only about 10 people in the restaurant. I think they were more interested in flirting with 2 customers also at the bar than, you know, being bartenders. Not the best first impression I'm afraid. Still, the food was a pleasant surprise!

Korean barbecue restaurant
Honey Pig is a Korean restaurant located in an industrial-chic space, offering tabletop BBQ and shabu-shabu. It has garnered positive reviews from customers who have been visiting for years, especially those with kids. The menu includes gochujang pork belly and garlic pork belly, which are favorites among patrons. The unlimited course option is popular, and the attentive servers add to the enjoyable experience. Despite some personal preferences regarding certain dishes, the overall atmosphere is described as cozy and welcoming.
I had missed this placed. Hadn’t been here in 6 years (I moved). It was amazing. I like the new computer system to place orders. The food was great and the service was excellent.

Participated in the Explore Gwinnett Seoul of the South food tour and this was our second stop and boy was it awesome. The star of this spot is the Pork Belly and now I know why - its in the name. The ability to enjoy so many different meats and side dishes made this spot my favorite. If you like Korean style Pork Belly, be sure to check out Honey Pig.

The AYCE is SO WORTH IT! There’s are so many meat options. We wanted to try out more different flavors but it was just the 2 of us so come with a bigger group and you’ll be able to try out the whole menu. Highly recommend!
Bobbi H — Google review
The food was good, but they put the BBQ grill too high, and our food was burning. We made a reservation of 12 people with our friends visiting us and trying korean food for the first time. We initially had 3 tables next to each other for our large group. But when we arrived they gave one of our table to another party. We were so squished and had no space to eat comfortably. And my toddler had no space for him... So we had to split our group and where separate the whole time. My husband had to go address the situation to the manager so we could have compensation... We learned that they had taken too many reservations that night and that they were understaffed. I personally want to thank this sweet waitress who really tried to make things works and also our waiter who was very nice despite the situation.

This is our first time coming to the restaurant. The food here is quite delicious and really suits our taste. I especially like the way the staff serves — they work quickly and enthusiastically.

A great restaurant to enjoy unlimited Korean barbecue! There’s a good selection of meats and sides to choose from, and everything tasted delicious!
Jonathan L — Google review
$35 for AYCE dinner. Wish there were more beef choices. I didn’t like the grilling plate because it only allowed for a small area for cooking and everything on the outer rim stayed cold and uncooked. The beef bulgolgi was well marinated and the brisket was tender.
Teresa J — Google review
This place looks really cool and I’ve been wanting to go back to this place for awhile. Finally had the chance and was a little disappointed. The service was great but the vents aren’t great as I kept choking on the smoke that blew directly on me instead of up. We dined in during a week day lunch and were initially turned away because the hostess said they were still working on something in the back kitchen even though it was during opening hours. Then as we turned around to leave, she changed her mind and said they were finished. It was odd. Their side dishes aren’t as good as other places like Iron Age. But their kimchi was very good. I wasn’t a fan of the salad as the dressing was too light, it didn’t even seem like anything was there and it didn’t enhance the flavor whatsoever. The corn and fried dumpling were really good though. The meats were just so so. The beef bulgolgi was better than the brisket but not by much. It was also hard to get them to really char since the restaurant heats them up in aluminum foil. The sauces and salt they supplied didn’t pair well with the meats, especially the peanut sauce. Overall we were disappointed and won’t return. But it was fun to try.

Day 2

Northwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northwest side side of town. Start the day off with Shorty Howell Park, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to West Gwinnett Park & Aquatic Center. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Shorty Howell Park is a vast recreational space measuring 67 acres, equipped with sports fields for young athletes and a well-maintained 1.25-mile paved trail. Located adjacent to Walmart, this park offers numerous advantages. Children can enjoy multiple playgrounds, including both small and large ones. The running loop, featuring undulating terrain, allows users to exercise without concerns about traffic congestion.
What a nice park for an afternoon walk. You can walk on the paved trail or be adventurous and walk off the path in the trees if the sun is too much too handle. It wasn't too crowded on this particular day but it's so nice it can probably draw a crowd in a nice day. There are multiple playgrounds and fields where I saw a few soccer games going on. There were baseentfields and batting cages as well as a pond to enjoy just sitting and observing the geese. Overall I'd give this park 5 stars for a great experience including plenty of space to park and benches to sit and just relax. Give it a try sometime. It is across the street from a Walmart so you can expect some traffic but other than that A1 for two and four legged beings big and small.

Great park with a beautiful scenery and was a nice place to take a brisk walk or to go enjoy a nice jog. Was very surprised to see a lot of deers here just naturally vibing it caught me off guard but was what stole the show and obviously the little lake which had a nice vibe. Would definitely come back just for the deers

Very nice little park with walking trails right in the heart of Duluth! Roads next to the park does cause much noise but multiple play grounds for the young kids make it a plus for the family. Also love lots of shades along the walking trails.

It’s a beautiful park with paved trails, perfect for strollers. The restroom was clean when visited. We mainly went for a walk and played on the playgrounds, I think there were 4 playgrounds. It had a nice soccer/football field as well. Plenty of parking throughout.

I am thrilled to have discovered this theater. The staff and community are incredibly welcoming. My child has gained knowledge and made new friends, and is eager to audition for more plays. When attending a performance, refreshments are served and there is an opportunity to meet the cast afterwards. It would be beneficial if they could adjust their entry fees, particularly for parents who wish to attend multiple shows but may face financial constraints.
I love this quaint theater. This was my first time going...I would love to go back for other performances. You are close and personal with the performers. During intermission you can go to the lobby for a snack or coffee and mingle with the people. We like this place.

So glad we found this theater. Everyone was so friendly. My son learned so much, made some new friends, and he can't wait to audition for another play. If you go to watch a play, they serve refreshments and afterwards you can meet the cast. The only thing I wish they would adjust are the entry fees. One parent should get a better discount to attend. I had to sit out the majority of my sons shows bc I couldnt afford to go to all of them. Same goes for little kids, my youngest is only 4. I hate to pay for him to attend multiple shows and he doesnt know or care what's going on. Other than those personal affects, it's an awesome place.

Specialty Museums
The Southeastern Railway Museum in Georgia is a top-notch transportation museum with an impressive collection of train artifacts, including Pullman cars, locomotives, and cabooses. Visitors can enjoy tours and rides on both full-size and miniature trains. The museum also features a model train exhibit and a variety of train-themed items in its gift shop. It's not just about trains - there are buses to explore too!
One of the best train museums I've been to! I love their miniature display and how hands-on all of the exhibits are.
L L — Google review
Such a fun and unique experience! My son had an amazing time and absolutely loved the train ride. The conductors were wonderful—they even let the kids pull the horn and ring the bell on the train. We were a bit disappointed that the train model was closed due to mechanical issues, but overall it was a great visit.
Niala R — Google review
I had a great experience visiting the museum. I am a hardcore railroad enthusiast, and I enjoyed seeing all the different pieces of equipment, most of which are in very good condition. This is also a fun and educational place for families and children. The displays are well presented and there is wide coverage of many aspects of railroad history. The model train layout is also fun to see. Highly recommended!
Thomas H — Google review
This is a great place to visit with family and especially kids. You can learn a bit more about some history of transportation specifically trains. You can also get a short ride in one of the trains or even get inside an old train cart and go back in time. Overall, it was good learning and fun experience.
Stella C — Google review
Lots of history here. Collection goes from steam tractors, steam engines, and cabooses to Pullman cars and Diesel engines. There are other forms of transportation displayed, including a plane train, classic buses, yellow cabs and other train cars. There is a working diesel engine and events around the holidays for train themed fun with the family.
G — Google review
They have a very large number of train engines and cars. Many of them are open so you can walk through them. A short ride in a caboose is included with the price of admission.
Ronald S — Google review
The trunk or treat was so much fun, and the museum is very impressive. I had no idea we would get to walk through actual trains. And they were set up in historically accurate ways. So cool!

The West Gwinnett Park & Aquatic Center offers a spacious indoor lap pool and an outdoor pool featuring exhilarating water slides and a relaxing lazy river. While the center comes highly recommended, some parents fail to discourage their children from touching park equipment or aiming water at seated individuals when visiting this public facility. Despite these occasional incidents, the park is well-maintained with plenty of attentive lifeguards who actively engage with visitors.
This is a great aquatic center! There are 3 pools total. Two indoor (1 instructional and 1 with lanes & diving boards) then the huge outdoor water playground, lazy river and 2 slides. The lazy river could use a bit more power to push folks along and the bottom had a bit of debris but overall very well maintained! Swim suits & swim diapers (based on age) are required and the staff does check prior to allowing admission. Both in county residents and out of county are welcome but there are different prices. Be prepared to show I.d. There are also 15 minute safety breaks each hour, which I love so kids can take a minute and have a snack and staff checks the pool. There are also ample tables, umbrellas at no cost. Highly recommend!

I went there with my twelve-year-old daughter, and she has got a very uh, do you know, definite definition of what's a good pool? And she liked this one also, they had a diving board for the 12 foot deep section, and I don't know any other pools that I've been to recently that had that. So great experience.
Thomas H — Google review
Love this pool for lap swimming. Yes, they have the summer outdoor pools in addition to two indoor pools: a teaching pool and a 25 yd x 25 meter pool with 2 diving boards / deep end. Gwinnett County runs a smooth operation where pool Temps are appropriate, lane management is effective for swim teams and open swimming share, and cleanliness is at least good. Reasonable entry rates for all as well.

Haru Ichiban Japanese Restaurant is a long-standing establishment in the Koreatown area of Duluth, offering a variety of Japanese small plates, soups, and inventive sushi rolls. The restaurant is known for its fresh seafood, with sashimi omakase and appetizers receiving high praise from loyal customers. The atmosphere has remained unchanged over the years, evoking nostalgia for returning patrons.
My husband and I tried this place after work. IT’S TRULY AMAZING. We appreciate the menu in Japanese & English. Everything sounded very appetizing. The service was friendly and attentive. We will bring friends and family to this place! :) We ordered chicken (skewers / forgot the name), Omakase, grilled shiitake mushrooms and beef Negimaki. All such good quality dishes!

Small, family-owned vibe—clean and cozy with friendly, standard service. Food was decent for the price. Quality and taste overall were average, but good enough for a casual family meal. I’m a picky eater, and while the Special Ramen had a nice homemade feel, the Spicy Tan Tan Ramen (on their popular list) didn’t hit the mark for me—left half the bowl untouched. It’s a spot I’d bring the kids to occasionally, but not somewhere I’d personally crave or go out of my way to revisit. Maybe there are other dishes worth trying, but this was my first impression.
Duke N — Google review
They have plenty of seating and a large menu with many items to choose from. Tasty food, but the sashimi left some quality to be desired. It was chewy and had some hard spots. The ginger dressing on the salad was watery. The miso was pretty tasty.
Virginia M — Google review
Yakitori was so dried and it seemed it was deep fried, tempura was nice and crunchy but the dipping sauce was almost tasteless. Ordered simple roll (yellowtail and scallion) was cut unevenly and wan not rolled correctly. Used to be the to-go place but not any more... Sad...

I had Chirashi here a few years ago and it was different, maybe new owner. But it was solid, maybe not as good as I've had before. Their rolls were good, sushi Sashimi plate good, udon and ramen a bit disappointing. Sentiments from the table and from trying a bite. Still, a nice restaurant with attentive service and the food came out super fast, which was great.

I made a quick Saturday night reservation after reservations at another place nearby fell through. They were able to seat a party of 8 with three children pretty quickly, complete with high chairs and floor drop paper for the toddlers. And on a Saturday night! The menu is extensive. We ordered sushi, Ramen, edamame, shumai, and everything was amazing! The service was so quick and the servers were patient as our large party struggled to narrow down our options. And the portions were very generous. There were so many leftovers! Highly recommend!

Fondue restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
The Melting Pot is a popular fondue restaurant chain that offers a variety of heated pots filled with cheese, chocolate, or broth for dipping and cooking. Customers have praised the warm welcome from the manager and hostess upon arrival, as well as the attentive and friendly staff. The dining experience is described as impeccable, with recommendations to allow at least two hours to fully enjoy the food and ambiance. Diners have enjoyed dishes such as Wisconsin Trio cheese fondue and land and sea options for grilling.
A Wonderful Valentine's Day Experience at The Melting Pot The Melting Pot was my first and only choice for a special Valentine's Day celebration, and I was thrilled to get a reservation, especially after encountering some challenges on Open Table. I called the restaurant, and the male manager (I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name) was incredibly helpful. He worked some magic and was able to squeeze us in at the perfect time, which set the tone for the evening. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth sailing. We walked in at 8 p.m. and were promptly seated. Our server, Natty, took amazing care of us throughout the evening—she was attentive, personable, and genuinely made our experience memorable. It’s easy to see why others have mentioned her positively in their reviews! What impressed us even more was the attention to detail from the management team. Shannon, along with the other male manager, were both constantly on the move—checking in with guests, running food, and making sure everything was running smoothly. This level of hands-on care is rare to see, even in higher-end restaurants, and it really made the evening feel special. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I truly appreciated their dedication to providing excellent service. We can’t wait to return! And if you’re wondering, the Mojo broth is definitely the way to go—don’t miss it!

Asian grocery store
Chinese supermarket
If you're on the hunt for a treasure trove of Asian culinary delights, H Mart Duluth is an absolute must-visit! This vibrant grocery store chain specializes in imported packaged foods and housewares, making it a haven for food enthusiasts. Opened in 2004, this location boasts aisles brimming with unique ingredients, snacks, and beverages that are hard to find elsewhere.
I love, love, love this location! A big parking lot so bring the fam. There is something here for everyone from the bakery, to the restaurant and free samples. I was able to find so much with well displayed signs and great pricing. Plenty off cookware, sauces and kimchi to satisfy the fellow Korean, skincare and everything in between. So enjoyable looking around and exploring the endless isles of treats

Picked up pastries, dinner, and pork belly. Always an amazing experience when I get to stop by. By far my favorite H Mart. Also - this is the BEST PLACE to get JaJangmyeon, even to go. I drive from Paulding, just to get it 😭 I love it so much. Also a the pastries at Tous Les Jours, are so amazing. Thank you to the sweet girl working the counter, she let me know if the promotion that was being ran and I was able to get a discount. I’m beyond happy with my food from both places and the service at both. As usual, I will be returning soon.

Very accessible. It is a food court inside of a Korean grocery store. Best Korean food I've ever had. My favorite dish is the gochujang stir fry pork.

Store is huge and has hot food! I got the spicy pan fried chicken and he got the bulgogi. We both got petite tiramisu! Everything was a decent price (12.99 avg price for all items). Quality and tasty!

Warning About Mislabeling at H Mart – Not What I Paid For Stopped by H Mart yesterday — a reputable Korean grocery store I visit from time to time. I normally don’t buy meat here, but decided to pick up some filet mignon for a nice dinner with my wife. The meat looked a bit different than what I’m used to, but I figured it might be a Korean cut or style. The package was clearly labeled filet mignon, and I paid the premium price expecting a tender, quality steak. Well — I cooked it today, and as the photos show, this was not filet mignon. Sorry if the pictures are a bit much, but the texture was incredibly tough, and most of it was inedible. We couldn’t chew through it. The packaging clearly said filet mignon, but what we got was something else entirely. Whether it was an honest mistake or not, I want to caution others: check your labels carefully, and don’t assume what’s on the package is what’s inside. Lesson learned. I won’t be buying meat here again.

One of my favorite places to shop! H Mart in Duluth has an incredible selection of fresh produce, seafood, and authentic Asian groceries. The store is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with so many unique items you can’t find anywhere else. The food court is amazing too...everything from Korean BBQ to bubble tea, all super tasty and fresh. Staff are friendly and helpful, and checkout is quick even when it’s busy. Highly recommend if you love exploring new flavors or cooking Asian cuisine! 🥢🛒🥬

Whenever I go to Georgia I stop here. All the veggies and fruit I need is right here. Meats are great. Sometimes the aisles are blocked, I think it can be managed better. I never leave empty handed. Food looks food and cakes. Can be little pricey, however I want to so I'm getting it there. Asking for something can be tricky, very little English is known by the packers.

Sichuan restaurant
Masterpiece is a Szechuan-style Chinese restaurant located in an unassuming strip mall. The cuisine served here hails from the Szechuan province of China, known for its spicy and flavorful dishes with various cooking styles and sauces. The restaurant offers fresh and made-to-order dishes meant for sharing, allowing patrons to savor a variety of flavors.
The most important piece, the food here is amazing! I absolutely love the food here and I've never eaten anything bad here even the stuff I wasn't sure if I'd like it was great. I don't recommend going of you're by yourself cuz the dishes are meant to be shared. Bring your friends and family cuz yall will enjoy it as it's designed to be shared family style. If you get take out you'll have plenty of food and it'll still be good even if you have to warm it up later. It's a funky atmosphere but it's more an odd hustle and bustle depending on how many families and/ or friends are there. It's not a fancy place? But it's nicer than casual, so hard for me to place it. But they do the restaurant thing properly so 4 star. The service is not your constant check up but they come over enough if you want say additional rice or fill your huge cup of water. I'll give 4 star cuz i know ppl want more from service. But trust me you'll be enjoying your food too much to care in the end

Wanted to try this Chinese Sichuan restaurant after hearing that it received a Michelin Bib Gourmand. My favorite dishes were the onion spicy pot chicken (my favorite , highly recommend) and the chicken w dry red pepper. Both were delicious. I have also tried the soup dumplings and garlic shrimp but they were alright and not something I would order again. Overall I would rate this restaurant a 3.75 out of 5
Alisha T — Google review
I have been here for years, before I move out of state… now I came back and this is the first time since 3 years probably… the food quality has really gone downhill. The boiled beef tastes very different from before , I can taste the meat has a slight smell even with the heavy seasoning. Stir-fried meat with tofu should really be made with shredded meat and tofu instead of sliced pieces. Flavor was ok… The steamed soup buns had no soup inside, and one of our dishes was even forgotten. On top of that, they charge extra for steamed rice, which feels unreasonable given the overall experience. Overall, very disappointing compared to how good this place used to be.
Tewei K — Google review
Some of the best Chinese food I've had in years, if not ever. The Mapo Tofu and Bean Curd Pork was all extremely delicious. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!
Aaron C — Google review
The place is okay for the price. Food is bland and it’s hard to believe they have a Bib Gourmand. Their garlic green beans were the best, albeit too salty. Pot stickers are also good. The rest of the menu is lackluster.
Phung T — Google review
Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in Atlanta—and honestly, it beats the top spots I’ve tried in LA, San Francisco, and Orange County. This place is the real deal. I ordered a mix of dishes: kung pao chicken, minced beef soup, twice cooked pork, Zhong style dumplings, Szechuan style bean jelly, tendon in chili sauce, beef tendon in red oil, and boiled beef in chili stew. Every single dish was packed with flavor, super traditional, and just really well done. The portions were generous too, which is always a plus. The service was great—everyone was super courteous and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant itself has that cozy, casual vibe you’d expect from an authentic Chinese spot. Nothing flashy or Americanized, just good food in a comfortable space. This was my first time here, but I’m definitely coming back. Honestly, I’m probably going to try everything on the menu over time. If you’re new to this place, I’d say just order whatever catches your eye—everything I had was amazing, from appetizers to soup to the mains. Stick to something familiar or try something new—you really can’t go wrong here.
Christopher C — Google review
The food was really authentic…also the dining area reminded me of China…great dumplings and really good fried pork
Frank K — Google review
Very clean, nice atmosphere. Most foods are spicy but the menu is well labeled as such. Food takes a minute but worth the wait. Less americanized, good place to take an Asian date or someone who likes more authentic Chinese cuisine. Chopsticks are probably the best ones I've seen in Asian cuisine utensils. Cons, some of the non-fishy meals have fishy smell or flavor. Possible food preparation cross mixing.

We had a great time here for two hours. It has a small arcade and a claw machine. It's a great place to have a birthday party. It's smaller than I thought, so my kids wanted to play for an hour and go home. We bought tickets in advance on this website. It included food and drinks, and the chicken nuggets were delicious. I recommend you to buy tickets online in advance .

My first time playing virtual golf, it’s actually cool! They have personal coaching, professional golf club fitting, and private room options. You can also replay videos of your swings in different speed. The staff was very nice and patient when coaching me. They also got a bar and massage chair that’s free to use. A great place for company gathering!

Super cool place. I never thought I would enjoy but I really did. Don't get me wrong there is no comparison to real outdoor golf, but the tech and features are nice for practice. It's also much better than going to the range in bad weather. You should give it a try.

Best practice facility in the area hands down. Top of the line facility using Trackman which is the best in the biz, and even greater staff. You really feel part of the family coming here, can't recommend enough. They offer really compelling membership packages as well, go check them out!

Enis M — Google review
My experience with Nine Golf has been deeply disheartening. Initially, I was informed via phone that my reservation time would not be available, a situation that was already inconvenient. However, the subsequent promise of a refund gave me some relief, assuming that at least my financial investment would be respected and returned. Regrettably, this has not been the case. Despite the assurance of a refund, there has been a complete lack of follow-through. I have not received any refund, nor have there been any attempts at communication from Nine Golf's side to resolve this issue. This silence and inaction feel like a direct betrayal of trust, leading me to the unfortunate conclusion that my money has been unjustly taken. The absence of any form of restitution or even a basic acknowledgment of the situation is unacceptable. It is fundamental for businesses to uphold their commitments, especially when it involves financial transactions with their customers. The failure to do so not only impacts the immediate situation but also reflects poorly on the business's integrity and customer service ethos. I am left feeling like my money has been stolen, a sentiment no customer should ever have to experience. I earnestly hope that Nine Golf addresses this serious lapse in service and communication, not just for my case but to prevent such instances from recurring. The importance of trust and transparency cannot be overstated, and it is imperative that Nine Golf takes immediate steps to rectify this situation.

Chacko’s Udipi Indian Cuisine is a vibrant and lively restaurant known for its exclusively vegetarian South Indian menu. While some visitors have noted the limited vegetarian options, others have raved about the authentic and high-quality dishes, particularly praising the Kerala Fish Curry, Tawa Fried Fish, garlic naan, and Kerala parantha. The restaurant's ambience has received mixed reviews, with some mentioning spills and sticky floors while others appreciated the friendly service.
My FAVORITE Indian Restaurant!! Food was soo flavorful and delicious. 10/10. We ordered the butter chicken with the garlic naan and bullet naan. The owner gave us a special dish on the house. Would recommend, Left very satisfied!!
Jinny — Google review
This place serves the best south Indian cuisine, especially traditional Kerala cuisine. Their Sunday buffet is the best to try out with a variety of choices from South and North and both non-veg and veg dishes. Few of our favorites that I highly recommend are fish curry, Malabar chicken curry, Duck curry (the best), goat curry and Kerala biriyani. Freshly made paratha and beef curry wrapped in banana leaf is another combo we have tried many times. Today (Oct 12) we tried a traditional central Kerala cuisine called 'Pidi' with Chicken Mappas. It was mouthwatering and made to perfection which prompted me to post this review. We have noticed that they always maintain the consistency in spice level and flavor. The staff is friendly.

No front desk to guide you. Is seat there go and sit. Less verities Chicken 65 is not Chicken 65,it is chicken manjurian with lot of bones. Only kappa. fish curry and pork fry are good.all the other are average. But worth for money. If you want to go for week end buffet reach there before 1PM

I really enjoyed my experience at Chacko’s Udipi. The food felt truly authentic, especially the South Indian dishes like the Madras Masala Dosa, Kerala Fish Curry, and fresh parathas. The flavors were rich and well-balanced—not overly spicy, but still full of taste. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit even more pleasant. I also loved the Sunday buffet—it was such a good value with so many options, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. As someone who appreciates Kerala cuisine, I was especially impressed with the Kerala-style specialties like the beef curry—it tasted just like home. Overall, Chacko’s Udipi is a great place if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful South Indian food with warm service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Mike D — Google review
I decided to try the Sunday buffet with my family which is currently $9.99 per person. I was impressed to see such a large variety of veg and non vegetarian options (chicken, beef, pork, and fish) for that price! The food was fresh and quite tasty — there were times where some options got low, but they were replenished by the kitchen staff quickly. The owner, even though it was busy, took time to talk to us and made sure all the patrons were being taken off and serving hot, freshly made parathas. You can’t find a quality buffet with so many options at this price anywhere else. I’ve also had a chance to try the sit down menu in the past and was impressed as well. Highly recommend Chacko’s Udipi!
Abe T — Google review
All the food was very sweet and was extremely rushed, all the meat was boney and could tell that it was made really quickly. The Biryani and chicken 65 were both very sweet and pineapple added to it. No employee at the stand and we had to wait to do the payment or find someone give us a table. We did the 10 dollar buffet deal, the value was ok for quick food but not worth it if you have higher expectations. The atmosphere was ok with small flashing lights and background YouTube music player on a TV. My overall impression is that the food would be fine for 10 dollars but the lack of service and food quality is a large negative.
Sai K — Google review
My wife and I were visiting Atlanta from Canada to spend time with our relatives, and our family of nine decided to have dinner at Chacko’s Udipi Indian Cuisine. Initially, Chacko Chettan politely mentioned that the dine-in service was closing and there was no food left. We completely understood his situation and were about to leave, but once he realized we were also from the Malayali community, his warmth truly showed. Even though he was visibly tired, he kindly decided to prepare food for our entire family and offered it as take-out. Within a short time, he made some delicious dishes, and the Chicken Biriyani was definitely the highlight for me. We were deeply touched by his kindness, hospitality, and dedication, even at the end of a long day. Thank you, Chacko Chettan, for your generosity and for making our evening memorable with both your food and your heart. Highly recommend this place for its authentic flavors and genuine hospitality. ❤️🙏

Taco Mac Duluth, a branch of a popular sports grill chain, offers buffalo wings, chili, sandwiches, and an extensive selection of draft beer. Customers praise the exceptional service at this location compared to others in Midtown. The restaurant is known for its lively atmosphere and delicious food. The ranch sauce served with the wings is highly recommended, as are the fried pickles. A popular choice among customers are the classic wings with various lemon pepper flavors that never disappoint.
10/10 from food to service, absolutely great experience at Taco Mac Duluth. Food came out super hot and fresh. The Buffalo nacho dip alone was just out of this world. Cheesy, queso, warm chips, hands wouldn't stop going for more and more. Ordered the fish and it was so flaky, super fresh. Burgers as well were solid, highly recommend. Staff was very friendly, overall great atmosphere, clean tables. Will be back again.

I’ve came here a couple times. The staff is amazing and friendly. The food is pretty good. My family’s favorite dish are the wings. They are very filling and great flavors to choose from. The last time I was here I tried the shrimp tacos and they were super tasty. Their drinks are good to sip on but not too crazy for those. The bathrooms stay clean. They also have a few claw machines in the back.

I had a quick lunch here and ordered the Southwest Chicken Wrap. It was delicious! I added Brussels sprouts as a side, and they were served with a nice honey drizzle that added great flavor. The only downside was that the Brussels sprouts were a bit overcooked and slightly burnt. Other than that, everything was tasty and satisfying.

This was our first time in this Taco Mac. We had the pleasure of having Skyler as our server and he was awesome. He was on his toes taking care of several tables. He never let us run out of tea and he checked on us several times. He had a great personality. We hope to have him again when we come in. I highly recommend him for excellent service. Kudos to Skyler, he rocks.

Visited this location with my son. Food was good, brisket tacos very good. Service was excellent. The waitress for our table was very busy and a nice young lady named Irvna stepped in and waited on us. She was so sweet and checked on us repeatedly to see if we needed anything. Great experience. Two thumbs up to Irvna.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I ordered wings but was served mostly small chicken drumsticks. When I raised the issue, my concern was ignored, and one of the staff members was quite rude and disrespectful. Only after I finished eating did they finally bring the proper chicken pieces, but with a very negative attitude. Sadly, this was my second and last bad experience here. I will not be returning.

Overall, I had a great experience at Taco Mac. The location is huge and there are plenty of mixed drinks and drafts on tap. The server was friendly and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is great for watching sports. My only two issues were that my wings were cold and the hostess could be more pleasant.

Went there for lunch and really enjoyed my 30 piece wing and mozzarella cheese sticks honestly this location is very clean very organized and always delivers the best would definitely say out of most This location has the best service. My beer was also very good they have a great option when it comes to stouts. Strongly suggest trying to peach bourbon barbecue if they still have it!!! Update: Was in the area today and wanted some good wings with my girl so decided to come in and have something to eat. I ordered a 20 piece original half lemon pepper and mild buffalo with sweet potato fries Proud to say there still as good as my first visit!

Mexican restaurant
If you're on the lookout for a vibrant dining experience, look no further than Armando's Caribe. This spacious and relaxed restaurant, nestled in a shopping center, specializes in an array of Latin American cuisine with a strong Cuban influence. Recently revamped to exude a tropical ambiance, it offers warm hospitality from its attentive staff. Guests are welcomed with complimentary chips and salsa that set the tone for an enjoyable meal.
Excellent food and very good experience overall! We decided to Armando’s because we were in the mood for Mexican food, but this was so much more. There were several interesting choices on the menu, including Spanish and Cuban dishes. The stand out of the night was the calamari appetizer. It has some potato on it, and it was super tender and super tasty. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal and this was such a great pick. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.
Rob H — Google review
Food and service were both outstanding. You have to try the molcajete bowl (see pic). My only knock would be the chips and salsa because the salsa didn't seem homemade, though it didn't slow me down.
Nathan B — Google review
After several visits, I’m convinced Armando’s Caribe, a Duluth gem serving bold Latin flavors since 2008, is a cornerstone of the community’s dining scene. My latest Cazuela de Mariscos was a revelation - brimming with plump shrimp, tender scallops, and mussels in a rich, savory broth that hums with just the right kick, not heavy on tomatoes. My wife’s Arroz con Pollo is comfort in a bowl, with chicken so tender it falls apart and rice carrying a subtle, smoky warmth. Each dish feels like a love letter to Caribbean and Spanish kitchens, rivaling the best we’ve tasted stateside. The cocktails elevate the experience: my Armando Margarita was delicious but a touch too sweet, so I added a tequila shot kicker for a bold, citrusy zing. My wife raved about her mojito’s crisp, minty delight. Service is very satisfactory, though not always attentive, but the vibrant food, lively atmosphere, and stellar adult beverages make Armando’s a true Duluth treasure.

There are plenty of parking spaces outside, internal decor is nice with taste. The service was quick and courteous. I decided to have a glass of HomeMade Sangria to treat myself, which was very refreshing with almost no alcohol taste. The we ordered two Authentic Spanish Paellas: Paella de Mariscos and Paella Valenciana, and one Cuban Grills: Picadillo a la Cubana. I liked my Paella Valenciana better, although it tasted like paellas shared cooked rice with same ingredients, the difference was Paella de Mariscos had salmon, scallops and mussels, Paella Valenciana had baked chicken thighs and sausages. They all were very delicious and authentic, since I had them in Madrid and Barcelona. The only thing that puzzled me was that there was little or none flavor of saffron which should be kay ingredient in paellas.

The restaurant is nicely decorated. However the food is very Americanized and the burrito I had wasn't what I've experienced at other similar locations. It's like fast food not restaurant style food.

I just left the restaurant with my boyfriend, whose birthday we were celebrating. After a long workday, we arrived about 20 minutes before closing I initially thought they closed at 10 PM, but realized too late that it was actually 9 PM (I had confused it with Armando’s Taqueria, same owner but it closes later). I felt terrible about arriving so close to closing time, but this spot has always been one of my favorites, and we drove in from farther away to spend this special day here. Despite the late arrival, every single staff member was incredibly welcoming. Even at the very end of the night, they still took the time to sing him happy birthday. It was just the two of us in the restaurant, and I truly mean it when I say this gesture meant the world to us. Thank you to Armando and the entire team for always making us feel so welcomed and cared for. My boyfriend even said he now understands why this place is so special to me. Even at the end of a long day, the food, the service, and the vibe were all 100%. Thank you again! Please tell every employee who worked Monday, July 28th between 8:40pm-9:30pm that I will forever be grateful for their kindness and patience!!!!

Armando's food is amazing! We've done take out on several occasions and we've always had a great experience. We've had the Pollo a la Parrilla with black beans and yellow rice, Arroz con Pollo, Paella Valenciana, Salmon Burrito, and Queso Dip, and the Fish Cubano. The food is always very well seasoned with great portions. The service for taking orders and picking up takeout is also great. We've never dined in but it's always a full house whenever we go to pick up our food.

Steak house
Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill is a cozy chain restaurant known for its extensive menu featuring steaks and seafood, complemented by an innovative wine list. The warm, lodge-like ambiance offers various seating options and a social bar. It's advisable to make reservations in advance, especially on busy days like Saturdays. While the prices are on the higher side, the generous portions justify the expense.
Love Stoney River! It is a great place to go if you are wanting a steak dinner. I get the petite filet and every time the steak has been tender, juicy, and delicious! They have other options as well to choose from. The servers are attentive and kind. A great place to go for a date night.

Had high hopes for dinner after being seated promptly with a reservation. Unfortunately, service got off to a rocky start—our drinks arrived, then we were left hanging for about 20 minutes while other tables were greeted and served right away. We had to ask for a manager just to get our order in, which was disappointing for a place that advertises itself as an upscale steakhouse. That’s where Lilly, the manager, made all the difference. She was the absolute highlight of the night: genuinely warm, attentive, and determined to make things right. Lilly didn’t just fix the issue—she approached us with kindness and professionalism, checked back in personally, and showed a real commitment to our experience. Her enthusiasm for great service and her skill at turning around our evening set a new standard for hospitality. The food itself was excellent. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a flavorful char, and the au gratin potatoes were everything you want—rich, cheesy, and bubbling hot. Fries were crisp and addictive, the wedge salad was fresh, and the warm rolls with whipped butter were a nice touch. Bottom line: The kitchen delivers top-notch food, and Lilly went above and beyond to ensure we left as satisfied guests. Thanks to her, what could have been a forgettable experience became a reminder of how much great management matters. I’d return for the food and hope to see more consistent hospitality next time.

My wife's lamb was good according to her. My fillet was overcooked and not the medium temperature I asked for. They didn't come to bring steak knives or to check on us until the end, even that the restaurant was empty for Saturday lunch.. the baked potato was cold. In short, let me give them another chance another time.

Awesome service, Awesome sized portion sizes and great ambiance. My only food complaint was my steak was overcooked. The other food was excellent and the Crème brûlée was huge and delicious. Drink choices were great, i had the spicy pineapple margarita and it was awesome. The servers were very attentive and friendly and it was an excellent visit overal. I was in metro Atlanta for meetings, andThere is a location near my home, that I'm going to take my wife out to based on my experience.

We had a very good dinner experience at the Stoney Rivers steakhouse! The crab cakes were one of the best in a non-costal city! Steak was cooked medium rare as requested and had a great flavor!

One Star (Would Leave Zero If I Could) Stoney River – Duluth, GA Verified: Intimate Wedding Reception A Year Later—Still Heartbroken It’s taken me nearly a year to write this—not because I forgot, but because reliving the trauma of my wedding day has been unbearable. As I write this, it’s our one-year anniversary, & I’m not celebrating. I’m at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, waiting & praying for a transplant. This day should’ve been filled with love and joy. Instead, I mourn memories that never were. The pain of what was taken from us is something I carry daily. I was a loyal Stoney River Franklin, TN customer for over 15 years. That location is outstanding. But Stoney River Duluth was the worst mistake of my life & the damage is permanent. No Communication: From the beginning, Rachel, the GM, barely responded to calls or emails—even the day before the wedding. I called in a panic, only to be told she was off & someone else would review the details. On the morning of the wedding, I arrived early to set up everything myself—from centerpieces and favors to a full layout of charcuterie, desserts, and signature cocktails. (These items were not available through Stoney River, therefore Rachel approved them to be brought in from an outside vendor) Every platter was wrapped and labeled, serving utensils attached. All staff had to do was remove plastic and follow the layout diagram. What We Walked Into: A Nightmare After the ceremony, we walked into chaos. Nothing was set up. No drinks, no food, no bar—even though it was clearly in our contract. Our guests sat in silence, confused and empty-handed. Still in my gown, I was unwrapping and placing food myself. There were no plates, forks, napkins, or water. The bar? It never showed up, despite the detailed planning we did (including a room diagram with bar placement) bartender counts, wine & beer selections, and signature cocktails. The toast? Forgotten. I had to beg for champagne, my husband and I were served last, despite being the only ones who don’t drink and having brought our own non-alcoholic champagne. Basic wedding etiquette was completely ignored. The bride & groom were treated like afterthoughts. Every Course, a Failure Appetizers were served family-style—four shrimp for six guests. Two people per table went without. Salad came without dressing. There was no salt, pepper, or bread. Entrees were just as bad. No one was asked about preparation or offered the lobster tail upgrade. My husband’s filet was dry, burnt, and tasteless. Once again—we were served last. Still no water. No tea. No coffee. No care. I Cut My Own Wedding Cake We had a five-tier Indian wedding cake, red with gold detail—stunning. There was no one to cut or serve it. I cut it myself in my gown. A guest had to request plates, forks, and napkins. My husband and I walked around serving our guests. Not a single person from Stoney River helped. No manager. No congratulations. No human decency. ⸻ Corporate’s Response? Insulting. I eventually contacted Stoney River Corporate / ST Hospitality, providing full documentation. On July 19, 2024, I got a voicemail from “Melissa” Her solution? “We can’t change your wedding, but we’d like to offer you and your husband a complimentary dinner.” A free dinner. After destroying our wedding. ⸻ The Hardest Truth Four months later, I was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Prognosis: 9 to 24 months. With time now finite, moments like a wedding should be priceless. But instead of joyful memories, I’m left with grief, frustration, and heartbreak. I can’t redo this day. I can’t get it back. And that’s the part that breaks me most. Please—Don’t Let This Be You I wouldn’t recommend Stoney River Duluth for any event. Their hospitality is empty, their leadership absent, their compassion nonexistent. You don’t get a second chance at life’s biggest moments. Don’t let them ruin yours. “Food that feeds the soul, beauty that speaks volumes, & travel that tells a story—always through the eyes of Italy Loves India.” — Alyson Savino IG: @alysonnyc212

I went with a work group and really enjoyed it. The steak was obviously a very high quality, but it needed more salt. The mashed potatoes were perfection! The green beans had an incredible flavor. The chocolate cake was deceptive - it looked like one bite would kill you with its richness/heaviness but it was actually had a very light texture with enormous flavor. Creme Brulee was not part of our group meal, so I ordered one at my own expense to take home. It was one of the best Creme Brulees I've ever had! I brought it home to share with hubby and daughter. Despite being shared by three people, the portion was generous and we all had plenty. Will definitely go back with the family. Edited 9/30/25. I took my husband on a date last night and we agreed everything earned five stars. The service was stellar. The food was insanely good. Best prime rib I've ever had. Mashed potatoes were as awesome as I remembered. Hubby raved about his steak biscuits and the scalloped potatoes. Creme brulee was the perfect finishing touch.
