Graduation & birthday party was given for my grandson. From start to finish, everything was prepared as stated. There were no complaints about the food or the service. VIP was provided and brought smiles to a young fella day. Games were all in-service and not down or delayed. I will have another party here again it was worth the price

It was hard to find a staff member when we got inside of stars and strikes. We went to two different registers waiting for staff to come. Myself and my husband came for the MLK day special since we were both off of work. We enjoyed playing the arcade games. There were a lot of people but it wasn’t super packed. We overall had a great time.

Here's a review for Stars and Stripes Entertainment: --- "I had a fantastic experience at Stars and Stripes ! The customer service was outstanding—everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the visit even better. The location was spotless, which I really appreciate, especially in a busy spot. The prices were also very reasonable for everything they offer. I have to say, the chicken was a highlight! It was cooked perfectly and had such a great flavor that I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend Stars and Stripes if you're looking for a fun, affordable, and well-kept place with delicious food!"

The management staff at this location went above and beyond to make sure the 6th birthday party we had there was an incredible experience. I highly recommend this location for your child's party, they will not disappoint. They will forever have our deepest gratitude!

Javier was beyond helpful answering the many questions I had about how everything works since I've not been to Stars and Strikes in a long time. The bumper cars were so much fun! Plenty of Arcade games to choose from and plenty of cool prizes.

Came in yesterday and was greeted with a warm smile, Selma was super helpful in the arcade and explained the game cards, bumper cars, and laser tag very well. She was super patient and polite and helped answer all of our questions. 10/10 customer service. We didn’t go bowling, but we were very satisfied with the arcade.

Sky Zone Trampoline Park - Buford is a chain of indoor trampoline parks that offer various activities such as freestyle bouncing, dodgeball, and fitness programs. Despite some initial dry and discouraging customer service, the staff eventually warmed up to visitors. The Friday morning team on July 7th deserves appreciation for being engaging, helpful, and at least cordial during the visit. Serving the public may not be easy, but it's important to provide detailed information without causing any difficulties.
I just wanted to take a moment to share how incredible our experience was at Sky Zone, all thanks to one amazing employee named Zyon. From the moment we walked in, Zyon greeted us with genuine warmth and a big smile. We had a few issues with our booking and were a bit overwhelmed trying to get everything sorted for our family outing, but Zyon stepped in without hesitation. She was patient, kind, and extremely professional. Not only did she resolve our issue quickly, but she also made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Zyon went above and beyond, checking in on us throughout our visit, making sure the kids were having fun and safe, and even helping us find a great spot for our family to relax in between jumps. You could tell she really cared, not just about doing her job, but about making sure people left with great memories. People like Zyon make all the difference. Sky Zone is lucky to have someone like her on their team. Because of her outstanding customer service and thoughtful attitude, our entire day turned around and became one of the best family days we’ve had in a long time. Thank you, Zyon! You truly made an impact on us, and we’re so grateful.

My son had a great time at a birthday party here. The only complaint he had (as a 3yr old) was that the soft play area slide was “too dark” and he got stuck up there once as well as another kid. I’m not sure what they got stuck on or why it freaked them out so badly. Once he was down and jumping around he was fine. The staff was really nice and it looked pretty cleansed. Pizza was ok just messy.

We love skyzone and the girl Serenity was nice and helpful. She is a great party host. Glow night is super cool! I recommend the membership
NEKOANDKEYBA F — Google review
Came here for some playtime on my son’s birthday on a Wednesday afternoon. A lot of the attractions were closed. What is open is run down. The worst part are the workers. They’re beyond rude. My son and his big sister (who is 13) wanted to go on the slide. There’s a sign that says ask an attendant for help before going up. So my daughter asked if the slide was open and if they could go on. The girl specifically looked and said “yes, of course!” So she grabbed the slide matts for her and her brother and went up. Once at the top another worker started whistling at them and yelling for them to get down immediately so they came back down. The girl then proceeded to berate them by practically yelling at them “it says ask for an attendant I don’t understand why you guys can’t follow directions!” First of all speaking to kids like that is absolutely not necessary. My daughter was just helping her 6 year older brother and DID ask an attendant. The second girl was just rude and they obviously don’t communicate with each other. But beyond the rudeness, with so few things open, closing the slides for 30 mins is ridiculous. This place is not worth the $27 they charge per person. There are plenty of better indoor fun places in the area. This place was so much better when it was Rock n Jump. We won’t be back.

Caney Creek Preserve is a 63-acre wooded open space featuring various amenities for outdoor activities. It includes picnic facilities, a playground, and a dog park. The preserve also offers a 1.5-mile nature trail and an interpretive nature trail for visitors to explore the natural surroundings. Additionally, there are two pavilions and a natural amphitheater within the scenic park area.
Great place for a walk or run in the area, I came here with my dog with the first time and she loved it and so did I.
Arik S — Google review
pretty nice park with a little nature trail. however, for a place called a "preserve", I was hoping there would be more trees. there's a little patch of them along the trail but the rest of the park is grass, which is kind of strange. maybe it'll feel more immersive in green season?
Elliott O — Google review
Must visit park. Lovely nature trails. Paved trails for kids with stroller. Nice for walks with pets. Lots of green area.
Bhavesh S — Google review
Pretty simple park with a wide open field, great for games with your dog or children. You get a nice panoramic view of the sky and sunsets in the evening...perfect place for photography. Picnic tables are to the right of the grand staircase and just beyond that, a hiking trail system. The nature trails collectively aren't more that two miles but they do lead to a creek, another open field, a playground, and another park entrance. Dense foliage and tree cover provide lots of shade, just perfect for a hot summer day.
Seth S — Google review
Quite and peaceful park where you will find about 1.5 miles of flat walking trails that predominantly follows along the creek. Plenty of parking available on both sides of the park. Dog park with separate large and small dog areas. Restrooms and pavillions located close to each parking lot. A playground with natural influences climbing obstacles rounds out the amenities.
Brian S — Google review
What a great little park! We went early on a Sunday morning and had the playground all to ourselves. The trees surrounding the play area provided nice shade. Then we checked out the trails there, and they're fantastic! Easy enough for preschoolers, with fun things to see along the way. The restrooms were very clean. We will definitely be back.
Sara O — Google review
It has roomy dog parks, both a small dog and large dog area. It was clean and well kept. I will try the hiking trails next time.

Thai restaurant
Thai Basil Kitchen is a Thai eatery that offers classic dishes and serves wine in a relaxed atmosphere adorned with vibrant art panels. The establishment comes highly recommended by customers who have enjoyed the variety of flavorful options available. One popular dish is the Pad Kee Mao, also known as Drunken Noodles, which can be customized with shrimp for an even more delectable experience. Another favorite is the Thai Fried Rice, which can also be enhanced with shrimp.
Beautiful restaurant - really clean interior, modern, and appealing! Nicely lit. You could dine in here or sit on their nicely appointed patio. But… we all know Thai food is also great takeout! Their Pad Thai is easily some of the best I’ve had. If you like to feel the heat, ask for EXTRA spicy because they held back a little. ;) the drunken noodles were delicious. Great flavors. I would return here any time!

Tom Ka soup was yummmm. Ordered Thai basil fried rice with pineapple…..it was perfect. Panang curry with soft tofu was out of the world…..tofu was super soft. Tserma was so friendly. Just fyi…they offer cooking class as well.

I had such a fantastic experience at Thai Basil! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and generous portions. Everything came out hot and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Thai Basil to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine.

Amazing experience!!! The food was delicious, the service was fast & friendly, and ambience was perfect for relaxed evening. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive. Will definitely be back!!! 🙂

Third visit here and it’s always amazing. First time we sat outside and their patio is so cute with lots of foliage - like a little jungle. Everything is delicious. We love Penang short ribs and duck curry. My husband loves the Tom Yum soup as appetizer or full hot pot. We’ve had the madman curry and catfish dish - what a great offering. Pad Thai is yummy. The service is good and FAST. Just go, you’ll love it.
Brooke L — Google review
We tried this place a few weeks ago, and we loved it then. So we came back. This time we got here when they just opened. It was quiet but pleasant. Our appetizer came in fast but our drinks took a little too long, but it was worthy. The chicken Pad Thai was so delicious, I do like it better with lime and when I asked the server, she brought us a bunch of them unlike many other restaurants. The sauce of my Pad Thai was so delicious. The fried rice was also very good. Not salty at all. Had a lot of chicken too. In general food is very good. The taste, the amount, everything. We even took some leftovers home. Peach, our server was very nice and kind, attentive. The best we have had so far.
Ortiz M — Google review
Update: Service on Friday night was much slower and our server less pleasant. That said, the menu is more extensive than I remembered and the food was still good. The panang curry is excellent. The spicy catfish was also good. ----------- Wow, I can't believe I waited so long to try this restaurant. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere wonderful, and the service super pleasant. They have an excellent outdoor patio that I will give a try next time.
Phil S — Google review
3/18/25 Wanted to give this place one last try because it’s one of the closest to us. Disappointed. Pineapple fried rice salty. Panang curry too sweet. The mixed appetizer tray was okay. The ube cheesecake was okay. The server we couldn’t understand the first thing she told us. We think she asked us what appetizers we wanted. We asked her for Arnold Palmer but she came back with lemonade. Not returning anymore. Updated review: This place use to be good. It’s not anymore. I don’t know what happened but the 1st time me has it, amazing. The times after, terrible. The 2nd time we dined in our food was cold and flavor wasn’t consistent. We ordered takeout this time. My Panang Curry tasted more like coconut milk than the curry. We got the Pad Kee Mao and Thai Basil Fried Rice. Everything was too sweet. The rice in the fried rice was clumped and smushed together. Very disappointed because at the first time, I thought we found our go to Thai place. Apparently not. Year ago review: Phenomenal. Absolutely scrumptious. I ordered the Red Curry and it was so good! I now consider this type of curry to be my favorite because of this place! It's flavorful. The Pineapple Fried Rice my husband loved!!! Presentation is super cute! Tasted the kids Pad Thai and it was delicious too. You cannot go wrong with what you order here!

The park also boasts two playgrounds for kids to enjoy and a popular skate park. Additionally, there's a designated area for pets to play and an expansive green field perfect for picnics and outdoor games.
Beautiful park with several walking trails, track, skate parks, basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer/baseball fields, and more. One of the trails leads to Halcyon, which takes over an hour if walking at a fast pace... it's worth it❤️

Appears like a nice park. Several swings are missing. Part of the one play set is missing. Nice sign up front warning of spraying of pesticides and herbicides. They can afford to spray that stuff but not fix the kids play area. Not to mention all those pesticides and herbicides give you cancer.

Great park. It is big and spacious, plenty of parking, and trails that are mostly shaded for runners, walkers, and bikers. The park has a playground, skate park, tennis courts, and more! They have bathrooms as well which are accessible and clean (at least the one bathroom I used was clean). It is safe and plenty of walking areas that have shade to make it bearable even when walking in 85 degree weather. If you play Pokémon Go, great area to play! Lots of stops and gyms

A great place for some excellent Italian food. We dined in for lunch and it was wonderful. The breadsticks were soft and wish they were a bit more warm they were brought in less than like warm. The complementary soup of chicken and the vegetarian soup were good to start off with. We did order Alfredo pasta and parmigiana pasta with chicken. Both were delicious, but we did ask for some extra sauce for the Alfredo pasta which was missing. Overall a good experience but wish if couple of things were taken care of, we would have had a better experience.

Nice cozy place. Food tasted great. Everything seemed freshly made and was delicious. The bread was soft. The calamari was really good that came with some fresh warm flavor rich sauce. The bruschetta was really amazing. The gyro meat was literally melting in the mouth. The pizza and the picatta was really good as well.

I found this spot on Google because my husband and I were staying at Belamere Suites which is about a 9 min drive away. I love Italian food so I was excited to try this place. They did NOT disappoint. The atmosphere is very family friendly. Our waitress was FANTASTIC!!! She even did a great job of talking me into getting a dessert which I don't do often. I had cheese tortellini and added sausage and my husband had chicken picatta. Everything was SO good and you get plenty in portion. I highly recommend this spot. It's a great family spot or date night.
Alytia S — Google review
Service was very friendly and mostly attentive, but the food was really disappointing. We always order calamari everywhere we go, but this was really unexpected and unappetizing. As you can see, the calamari isn’t rings and tentacles. It’s huge chunks of octopus body in a cheap, thick, pre-battered breading that slips right off, leaving slippery naked chewy octopus meat in your mouth to muscle through. It is NOT lightly breaded as the menu indicates. And it is completely different than any other calamity I’ve ever had anywhere. The fact that it was covered with a handful of chunked feta and several pepperoncinis and Kalamata olives didn’t improve a completely inedible dish. We each tried one piece of meat before pushing the plate to the edge of the table… and no one seemed to notice we had barely touched it. The breadsticks were fine. Soft and warm and tasty. The Greek salad was pre-bagged iceberg lettuce mix—not much romaine to speak of—with 3 hard grape tomatoes, a chunk of cucumber, lots of shaved red onions, and another handful of feta cheese. I like feta, but this was way too much. The balsamic dressing is sweet. Again, didn’t finish. I ordered chicken piccata, and she got chicken Alfredo. My piccata came in a thick puddle of gluey lemon sauce. The chicken was fork tender but seemed microwaved. Unfortunately the sauce didn’t cling at all to the wet pasta. Her Alfredo had finely chopped chicken buried in the noodles, almost as if intentionally hidden. It tasted very industrial/ commercial. Again, no one asked why we didn’t eat much.

Good food, good service, and family owned. I wish I could eat the pizza - it looks amazing, but the bruschetta chicken was also good. Sitting on the patio was wonderful.

Cumming Fairgrounds

Fairground
The Cumming Fairgrounds offer various amenities and attractions, such as a racing circuit for quarter-canaries, historical villages, and an indoor arena suitable for large gatherings. If fortunate, it is reachable within approximately an hour's drive via GA 400. The fairgrounds also hosted the Holi festival recently, drawing a diverse crowd of Indian and Pakistani individuals who actively participated in the cultural festivities. Attendees experienced inclusivity and enjoyed throwing colored powder at one another while being drenched in vibrant hues.
We have so much fun each year at the fair. There is plenty of parking on all sides of the fairgrounds, and admission is easy and quick.

Was a fun fair but seems like alot of rides were shut down so we didn't get to get our money's worth from buying the wristband. Other than that we had a good time.
Katie P — Google review
We recently attended the county fair at the Cumming Fairgrounds, and while it was incredibly busy, we still had a great time. The fair was packed with people, which made parking take over an hour, but once we finally got inside, the lively atmosphere made it worth the wait. The food vendors, games, and entertainment were top-notch, offering plenty of options to enjoy while soaking up the excitement. Although we were only able to ride two rides in five hours due to the long lines, the quality of the rides and the fun we had made it memorable. If you're planning to attend, just be sure to arrive early and bring your patience—it’s a popular event, but definitely a fun one!

Was there for July 4th fireworks. Very good atmosphere with families out celebrating. Options for food and fun all along for kids and adults both. Parking can be an issue. It was fun Al around

Updated: 10-11-2024 did the bbq food. This time we also did the haunted house! A must and the fast passive tickets are worth it no waiting there. Super fun and scary. We love the rides too this time we went earlier and we're able to do more rides. Wayyyyy better to get this tickets than a wrist band. You can use them other days or save for next year if line get too long and you cannot go on too many rides save the tickets the wrist bands are for that day only. Also when going during the day take a jacket so you do not freeze. We will go back next year too. Best time ever. Great food. We ate too much, lol. The rides had long lines, but it was worth it to wait. We loved the pig races. There were several cute shops with local handmade things. We spent 7 hours there and will be back next year.

Our family enjoyed the fair and rodeo, rides and snacks however it was cold and it's falling we'd be more happier if they had a hot drink vendor such as coffee, hot cocoa and hot apple cider and herbal tea choices. Everyone loves all four. I especially love hot apple cider all yr long. There was a family I found lil late that did hot cocoa but noone else did.

Great family fun with everything you'd expect to find at a fair. Ride tickets never expire. Kids 10 and under are free.

Fast food restaurant
I recently stumbled upon Deckers Express, a fast food restaurant that left me pleasantly surprised. The moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by a friendly employee. Intrigued by their reputation for outstanding sandwiches, I decided to try their renowned Rueben. True to the hype, it exceeded my expectations with its perfect blend of ingredients and delightful heat. Additionally, the fries were freshly cooked and scrumptious while the pickles added an extra layer of deliciousness.
I have been going to deckers for 25 years! They never dissapoint. The Chicken supreme salad with honey mustard is so amazing and the chicken fingers are also very good. Great sandwhiches as well. Must try the fresh grouper sandwich!! if you want something fresh and unique and not a chain or fast food, this is a great spot. Note, they do not serve alcohol.

I was disappointed yesterday. I go there a lot. However, I ordered and egg salad sandwich on rye toast witn onion. The bread did not seem toasted and it came out with lettuce and tomato which I did not ask for. Everytime I go there and get fries, they are raw. I would have complained then, but it became very crowded.

Took the family out for a lunch date. Even at 12:30, the wait wasn’t longer than 10 min. I was surprised, and the food came out hot and fresh. Don’t skip the cookie counter…worth it. Seating was a little cramped, but it all worked out. Great place. Go Vols!!!

Staff was friendly but the food wasn’t good at all. The nachos were AWFUL. Burger didn’t have any seasoning, everything was overly bland. Whole menu was too expensive for the food to be trash

Deckers is a local gem! Jenny and her staff are always welcoming and friendly. The homemade cookies, soups, salads and sandwiches always hit the spot. This place deserves a rotation in your lunch lineup.

So good!! I saw this place while passing by yesterday, and I'm so glad I stopped in for lunch. I was greeted by the most friendly gal. I ordered a rueben, that is always my test of a new (to me) sandwich place. Y'all that was one of the best rueben's I have ever had. It was hot, had the perfect ratio of ingredients, just amazing. Fries were also very fresh and perfectly cooked. Their pickles are even great. It all came out quickly too. If you get the chance, go!

If you're in Cumming and craving a slice of Italy, look no further than Annunziata's Pizza & Pasta. This casual eatery is adorned with charming photos and memorabilia that create a warm atmosphere perfect for enjoying delicious Italian fare. Their foldable pizza slices are nothing short of heavenly, with standout options like the hearty chicken parm pie or the creamy white pie.
GREAT little restaurant! My daughter and I stopped in for our first time today. She had the chicken parmesan hero and I had the meatball. She loved hers. The meatball hero may not look fancy, but is the best I've had in Georgia! It was delicious. The atmosphere is casual Italian diner. The staff are very friendly and polite. I recommend this restaurant.

Cumming is our halfway point to meet Family four grandkids swap, shopping, and occasional dining. When our grandson said he wanted pizza, we made a point of finding somewhere that wasn’t a chain. Just off the square in Cumming is a little Pizzeria named Annunziata’s Pizza & Pasta. Nothing fancy, but good food. We got a Large Carne Amore, thinking there might be some to take home. Not a slice made it out of the restaurant. My daughter ordered a meatball sub, and said it was one of the best she had eaten. The owner, (Gregory) came over & had a conversation with us. We talked football, soccer, and a little bit of politics. We enjoyed the food, and the conversation. There is a strong chance we will be back. There is some parking across the street, and I believe a parking deck just a block over. The store is on ground level, so should have easy handicap access.

We loved our Labellas pizza in Marietta and miss it glad we found this. Recently moved here to cumming and have been missing good pizza. This is absolutely the best pizza here in cumming crust is awesome not floppy sauce is good. New york style We are from the Scranton area in P.A . And are used to good pizza. This is good stuff.
Fred P — Google review
Have had it before and was decent. I remember the taste being primarily herby sauce, which I don't mind. The undercarriage is nice, and that remains true. I was reading reviews and saw someone else say something about a strong garlic taste and didn't recall the strong garlic taste. Tried it again and they were definitely right about the garlic. It's not strong enough that I'm not going to eat it. It's still good, it is just overbearing. I can barely taste any tomato and really can't tell if I taste the cheese because the garlic is overpowering everything. Again it's not bad! It's just not what I really expect out of a NY style pie. I've had some of the best pizza in the world and can't recall any having much of a garlic taste. One last time, it isn't bad, just not what I expect out of a NY pie

Steak house
The Ridge-Great Steaks and Seafood is a charming establishment that offers a cozy atmosphere, where patrons can indulge in delectable dishes such as oysters, lobster, and ribs. The menu boasts classic steakhouse favorites that have stood the test of time, including hearty seafood appetizers like crab dip, peel and eat shrimp, crab claws, and shrimp bisque.
The food was delicious, especially the salmon!! Prices were reasonable. The staff were professional and friendly. The restaurant is well kept and spacious. There’s a stage with a fire place and seating, there’s bar seating, booth seating, and outdoor patio seating. There was also a live musician that played a guitar and sang. Very cool vibes and I’m definitely going back!
Shyniece A — Google review
What a huge disappointment, I was excited about this restaurant and from the moment we walked in there was no hostess, and when someone finally came she was clearly irritated and was talking to another employee and cursing about how someone took the iPad. The food was awful, we started with the crab dip and it tasted like a hot tuna fish dip. My husband ordered a Long Island ice tea which is his favorite and he had to send it back because it tasted like pure vodka. The entrees only come with 1 side and we paid an extra $5 for a mediocre salad, that I didn’t even finish. Now the steaks were ridiculous, I had the ribeye which is pretty pricey so I expected it to be delicious, it lacked flavor. I felt like I was eating a piece of charcoal. My husband got the Ridge Steak, medium well and it was very well done. It was so dry that he had to drink with every bite. If I’m being honest the only thing that was good was the croissants with the honey butter and the wine. Service was average, being in the hospitality industry I was disappointed. All in all it was not worth the money we spent.

Six of us went out tonight for dinner at “the Ridge” and Joey was our server. Joey did a wonderful job keeping our drinks filled and our food didn’t take too long. ALL of our food was delicious! I had an amazing experience at The Ridge Great Steaks and Seafood! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism- but what truly made the evening special was our server, Kendall. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The food was delicious, but Kendall’s service really elevated the entire experience. We’ll definitely be coming back—thanks again, Kendall!

Decent steak & ribs but the calamari appetizer & the croissants were delicious. We came here for a birthday celebration and they gave us some free ice cream which was super nice. They also had a singer and a dance floor which made it harder to talk but the singer was super good and we wanted to go out on the dance floor multiple times. Super spacious & there were people hosting a huge birthday party there but the restaurant still had plenty of room for other guests as well.

Nice sweet and romantic spot. Came here on our anniversary trip to celebrate with a quiet, intimate dinner. Service was amazing. Our waitress was so sweet. This place did not disappoint. Had a delicious chop steak with potatoes. I love how seasoned and chunky the potatoes were! Husband had the shrimp creole. He finished the entire plate! I left no crumbs myself. So delicious. Finished it with a thick and creamy slice of cheesecake. Means so much to me because he hid my ring in a slice when he proposed. Nice to reminisce and enjoy a meal together. Will return when I’m back in town !
Arica D — Google review
After reading the mixed reviews and driving by this restaurant dozens of times in a week (it's 3 minutes from our house) we decided to give it a try. And candidly, it's just an okay restaurant when considering the price vs. value. My wife and I went there at 5:15 p.m. on a Friday. We had plans in the evening and decided to get an early dinner. The atmosphere: it has more of a bar vibe than a restaurant. Sweet Home Alabama, Rolling Stones, and other rock music played throughout our dinner. The 2 bars were full of early bird diners. We were seated in a 2 person booth that looked out the wooded back. That was nice. We ordered 2 meals, 1 glass of wine, an appetizer, and a dessert so that we could get a good sample of the food. $124 + $30 gratuity. They had a modest wine selection of about 6 to 8 reds and the same for whites. Most were offered by the glass or bottle. Our Ceasars salads came out with a glazed croissant reminiscent of a chain restaurant. The salad was very fresh add flavorful. The croissant was mushy. We ordered the baked oysters appetizer. They came served with two pieces of bread that appeared to have come from the Publix Bakery. The oysters were served very hot but had no flavor- tasteless. The bread crumbs on top would have been better served with a little more butter and some seasoning. And there was nothing to soak the bread in afterwards. My wife ordered the maple glazed salmon with a side of charred broccoli. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the portion was big. However, the pool of maple syrup under the salmon was a bit overwhelming and very sweet. I ordered the marinated ribeye with crumbled blue cheese. The steak temperature was cooked as I requested and it was very flavorful. I had the squash casserole as a side dish, and boy was I disappointed. It was a big square of water-logged mush with bread crumbs on top. And once again, flavorless. I doused it with a bunch of salt and pepper but thatbdidnt help and I left most of it untouched. We tried the molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream as a dessert. This was a safe bet, as you really can't go wrong with chocolate. The desert was good. Our server Logan was OUTSTANDING! She was friendly and attentive. We took a chance and didn't have high expectations. I'm not sure this place warrants a return visit for us.

It was a nice night out. We got there very early, as 2 of our party had plans for later. Our server was attentive and engaged. He kept us full and flowing smooth from drinks and appetizers to desserts (the bread pudding was delicious). We had a wonderful time.

Barbecue restaurant
Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q is a laid-back chain that's famous for its slow-cooked BBQ, cheese biscuits, burgers, salads, and classic sides. Customers rave about the smoked pulled chicken and mac n cheese but also recommend trying the ribs, chicken, and brisket. The service is consistently good and the cheesy biscuits are a must-try. While some have had issues with tough spare ribs or unexpected charges, others love the smoked turkey sandwich and potato salad.
Great experience at this local chain located in the Collection at Forsyth. The brisket and spare ribs are so good. The brisket is very tender and we highly recommend it! The free little cheese biscuits are a great little treat. The macaroni and cheese is a yummy side. The location is convenient when shopping at the center. Our server John Deluz was great, very attentive and helpful. We will be back!

I’ve been to several Jim N Nick’s Locations but this is the best by far. Food came out quick, my waitress, Mary, was very helpful and kind to me giving spot on advice for my food selection. Also, unlike other locations I’ve been to, you are not charged for the cheese muffins. Truly amazing and couldn’t recommend enough.

Sure with we had one closer to Ellijay. When in town, I almost alwats pick-up a large order to take home. Mac 'n cheese is best I have had...super cheesy. Brisket is delicious, but for price and taste, pork is out choice. Usually have a beer at bar while waiting for order, good selection. Enjoy!

This BBQ place is hands down the best I've ever been to! The flavor of the meats was out of this world – perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to absolute perfection. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the ribs had the perfect balance of smoky and sweet. The sides, from the creamy mac and cheese complemented everything so well. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was top-notch, with the staff making sure we had everything we needed. If you're a BBQ lover, this spot is a must-visit! Can't wait to come back for more!
Seth K — Google review
I ordered from here for the first time this evening. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the top bun was really smooshed and there was only two pickles on the entire sandwich. I am not sure if that is the standard amount but for the size and amount of chicken, I would have expected and liked more. I will certainly try ordering it again and if It comes out better, I will happily adjust my review. Regardless of the mishap the food here is pretty great and I look forward to eating here again.

I may be biased because I live so close to this park but this is one of my absolute favorite spots to go on a hike! the view at the top is breathtaking and there are some cool nature facts posted along the trail along with the info center. Restrooms are usually clean and it is very dog friendly! Also a super cool spot at the top for a picnic lunch. definitely recommend taking a hike to the top if you never have before!

Have been hiking up the mountain for years. Always a fun hike. Sometimes we do the shorter trail from the Bettis Tribble Gap parking lot and sometimes we do the much longer hike from the Visitor Center. Trail is rocky and rough and you will roll your ankle multiple times even if you are careful. View from the top on a clear day is beautiful. Always a busy trail and you will meet multiple families, trail runners on the way.
Priya R — Google review
One hour from Atlanta you can get lost on a windy 5 Mile loop and enjoy views from the top of this mountain. Stop by the fairy trail kindly provided by the Girl Scouts. The trails are neither too steep or overwhelming. Kids are more than capable of the trek.
Chrisoula M — Google review
Beautifully shaded trail. My friends and family love this. Approx 4miles (up & down) from this point to Indian Seat, an amazing overlook vista point. Suggestion: Along the trail stay on the LEFT whenever it bifurcates so you will reach Indian Seat. Otherwise you may drift towards Bettis gap if that is not your intent (and keep wandering).
Sahanagrad S — Google review
Strongly recommend good shoes for this shaded trail with gradual incline to the top of the mountain. Pretty decent and easy for general public. Great views, all one sees is lush green tree table top from the top of the mountain with one or two minor buildings exposed. Attracts local daily walkers, joggers etc.

Wonderful place to spend some good time as well as body work. The walking path is so good and feel so much energy. The place is kept so clean and feeling refreshed once we reach the peak point

It was a decent hike overall. I went up to Indian Seats twice to help out a lost group. 5.1 miles total. Lots of rocks and tree roots. Wear boots. There is not much scenery except the fairy houses and the Indian Seats viewing deck. I got stung by a bee around the fairy houses. Lots of spider webs. There are many down trees, but the trail is apparent from them. The trail is well-marked, and maps are available in the parking lot. I followed along using the AllTrails app.

Good trail. 3.86 miles, 522 ft elevation gain, if you take the long route for the trail. Careful of the Sasquatch at the end of the trail. If it notices you, it'll run off into the woods(as in the last video below).

Beautiful hilly trail with easy gradient. From parking to the viewing point or takes about 20-25 mins depending on your fitness and walking speed. It's quite and tranquil hike through the natural forest and easy hike for younger kids as well. Take a water bottle along on a sunny day. Viewing point offers a panoramic view of the valley below and the north Georgia landscape. One can spend about 2 - 2.5 hours here and more of your are with friends or family. Highly recommend om a good weather day.

Indian Seats at Sawnee Mountain is one of the most peaceful and breathtaking spots in Cumming. The hike up is not too difficult, and once you reach the top, the views are absolutely stunning—especially at sunrise or sunset. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause, breathe, and just take in the beauty of nature. Whether you go with family, friends, or even alone, it feels like a little escape without leaving town. Definitely one of my favorite spots in North Georgia.
Hakan A — Google review
Great for a quick hike to amazing views with a slice of history. Well manicured trail wide enough for 4 people most of the way up/down. Steady incline with frequent switchbacks to keep the elevation gain low. Up top the manicured trails end with multiple spots to sit overlooking the valley below. The “Indian Seats” were a nice touch. Towards the very top is a nice overlook deck with expansive views.
Tom J — Google review
Really fun hike and a popular one. To experience the full hike you should park at the visitor center. When you get to the top you got a great view and if you're not afraid of heights you can sit on some of the seats made of stone that are very close to the edge.
SJB — Google review
Starting at the visitor center, there's a 4-mile trail that takes you to the mountain top and back. For a shorter trip, you can start at the parking lot off Bettis Tribble Gap Rd. From there it's only 0.75 miles to the top. The trail is mostly easy; nothing too steep or strenuous. But it's fairly boring, at least at this time of year (3/20). The view from the top, however, is outstanding. Up there, from an observation deck, you see a beautiful panorama all the way out to the north Georgia mountains that can't be beat. Well worth the trip!
Bob W — Google review
Beautiful moderate trails. There are two trails of 1.5 and 3.4 miles. Stunning picturesque location and many spots to click breathtaking snaps. There are two parking spots and they are 1.5 miles apart so be careful of your parking place, (Bettis Tribble Gap Rd & Visitor Center @Spot Rd). There are many spots to sit and there is a viewing deck. Dogs not allowed. A good picnic spot to enjoy with family and friends. Don't forget to watch stunningly beautiful #sunset. Indian Seats have a small beautiful observation deck to watch panoramic view and sunset.

It’s a perfect location inside the city of cumming, very popular, specially for the kids who plays soccer and baseball. Lovely place while your kids are playing you can have a quick walk as well as get freshen up under the tree with your chair very open and nice very well maintained by the county. You can also come without kids have plenty of people walk around to get a fresh air . I love this park, especially when it’s a big day. You can go on the long distance. You have to get back early home. It’s a perfect spot.

I feel at peace and great place to work of you like working outdoors. It's safe with the police department on property. Nature is a wonderful setting for clearing your thoughts. You can't go wrong going here to relax.

My moral compass is turpitude status 🤔 I’m ready to go swinging before returning back to the playground 😊 💗 👑 Over & Under 🛃🛣️ Movie Night @ the park 8/11 addition : ➕ so much for going for a run. It’s literally pouring. Chased a rainbow 🌈 en route

Came here for soccer tournament, the two fields on turf are very close to each other, only very small tent/gazebo fits in between the two fields. Our players were left out in the sun while on the bench.

The playground used to be such a great place to bring my kids, but lately it’s really gone downhill. On our recent visits, we noticed that nearly half of the equipment is broken or unsafe. It would be nice if the city could repair or even consider updating this playground, so families can enjoy it again.

Had a great time. The grounds are very well kept, could use some pesticides. The facilities and equipment need attention.

Cumming City Center

Shopping mall
Cumming City Center is a delightful community hub that invites visitors to unwind in its lush green spaces and scenic trails. This vibrant locale features an amphitheater, diverse dining options, and unique retail shops, making it a perfect spot for family outings. One of the highlights is the Movies Alfresco series, where families can enjoy free outdoor movie screenings under the stars—just don’t forget your lawn chairs!
Cumming City Center is one of my favorite local spots. The walking trails and green spaces are clean, peaceful, and great for relaxing or getting some steps in. Mini-golf is fun and a bit more skill-based than your typical course. For a full round, Windermere Golf Club nearby is a solid choice. Food options are excellent—Homestead has great comfort food, Tin Cup Grill has an awesome view and vibe, and Myth & Legend Coffee is perfect for a quiet break. The whole area has a friendly, community feel with regular events, live music, and a great mix of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

I love this little mini town!!! When I visited it was late November and they are still working on construction in the area. The deck and most of the storefronts are complete but it looked like they were still working on expanding. I loved the architecture and the quaintness of everything. I will say that parking is sparse- there are very limited street parking spots and then you will need to park in the deck. If it is raining or cold, it can be a bit of a trek to get back to the Main Street. Overall, very nice and clean, looking forward to what’s to come!

Very nice and fairly new city center that similar but unique to other city centers. They have a big amphitheater with excellent sound system and a very nice mini golf court, which other city centers don’t have. So many different type of restaurants, shops, brewery waiting to be explored. Free concerts all the time! We loved it!
Jenn Z — Google review
We had such a wonderful time at the Departure concert! The venue is very clean and well kept. It got crowded quickly when it neared time for the concert, but there was still space to breathe. The acoustics were great and our kids, who have Down Syndrome, enjoyed seeing “Uncle Brian and the guys”.(They were informally adopted by the kids years ago and go out of their way to point them out in the crowd.) ❤️❤️❤️
Kim S — Google review
This place is off the chain and will soon be a destination of its own!!! They have a brewery place and several 3 story resteraunts 2 ice cream places-a nail salon and several shops. Not to mention a museum for firemen and a 3 or 4 level parking deck in the back with parking all the way around. The amphitheater is awesome and you can get a drink from one of several bars and take your drink around with you. The outside putt putt golf course is fun and there is always special events or concerts on the weekend. My favorite place is to eat is The Homestead(ask for Karla and you won’t be sorry).
Wayne S — Google review
This isn't a typical playground, so parents shouldn't expect slides or swings here. Instead, it's more of an open space where you can walk around freely, play a round of mini golf, or catch live music - especially on Friday evenings. The food options are fairly average, but it's really the atmosphere that makes the place special. If you're bringing kids, definitely bring their bikes, scooters, and maybe a few friends to keep them entertained. I'd recommend this spot if you enjoy walking, jogging, or just being outdoors under the open sky.
Vishal J — Google review
We go here quite often, usually attending the outdoor concerts. The outdoor amphitheater is the nicest in the area featuring a large stage with fountains & mountains as a backdrop, it’s quite stunning. The Bands are always a lot of fun and feature many varieties from 80’s pop to country. There is plenty of parking and room to set up chairs. Most restaurants are good. We usually opt for the Pho. Or Mexican, the later being where a vast variety of margaritas are served. The crowd is always respectful and well behaved as well. Overall the new City Center is excellent, the only real “negative” would be that it’s not great for retail shopping with only a few boutique-type shops. Other than that, it’s a great way to spend a Fri or Saturday night.
Chris C — Google review
So happy to have this complex in my backyard. So many great restaurants, shopping and free outdoor entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Something for all ages. And a challenging Putt-Putt course as well.

If you're a horror aficionado, the Four Scythes Haunted Attraction is an essential stop on your spooky itinerary. With various locations across the state, it offers a range of haunted experiences tailored to different fear levels. I recently found myself at Four Scythes after missing out on tickets for another haunt and was pleasantly surprised by the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff that greeted us outside. Despite the long lines—understandable given it was Halloween weekend—the excitement in the air made waiting worthwhile.
The wait wasn’t that long for a Friday night and they had a dj entertaining the line. The first part was a maze which was awesome. Different characters scared the crap out of us. The actual house had amazing plays on lights. The detail put into each room was great! Definitely felt they explored the theme well and did a great job scaring us!! Would definitely come back.
Chelsea R — Google review
Really cool attraction for people looking for a quick haunted house. The lines can get long on a busy weekend and we would definitely recommend buying a fast pass. All in all the haunted house only took about 10 mins and the total time in line was close to 2 hours. The line time is split into 2 sections so you can interact with the first exhibit and then go to the main attraction. It was a nice break in between. The staff here are wonderful! They are so interactive and kind! Always asking how people are doing and being really helpful! The actors were well cast and did a great job keeping the story line going! It was well rehearsed and definitely had moments of fright! I saw kids of all ages and adults of all ages. It was a fun time to be with friends. There was a gift shop at the end, food being served as well as non alcoholic drinks. You can roast s'mores there as well! Plenty of parking on site! Even on the busiest of days!

What a fun time! The "I follow you "clown was great and in character! LOVED the freaky crawling guy. He's so fast! The crazy lady with the baby was so convincing! We'll be back next year for sure. The three characters walking outside and scaring the crowd were great, too. We enjoyed seeing the creepy girl with the doll chase kids in the parking lot. Way to c commit to your character!

So yeah, waited last minute to buy Netherworld tickets and they were already sold out (never do that, btw. Always buy at least a week before you plan to go). We started looking for last minute haunts to go to and Four Scythes wasn’t too far away and had a slot open. The atmosphere outside the haunt was great and they had quite a few friendly and helpful staff present. The line was waaaay too long (it’s the last weekend before Halloween, so we understand) and we ended up buying fast passes. The Clown maze haunt was elementary but fun, since the actors were super awesome. The main Vampire-themed haunt this year was actually fun too, albeit a bit short (10-12 minutes long). The theming was on point and the actors were committed! If you want animatronic overload and a good atmosphere, go to Netherworld. If you want a nice themed haunt with a good atmosphere (and crowd), go to Four Scythes. The s’mores roasting tables after the haunt brought everything together. The family had a good time and that’s all this dad can ask for. Four Scythes provided that and I recommend them wholeheartedly.
Karam E — Google review
The experience started with over a two-hour wait in line. They offer a “skip-the-line” option, but it comes with an extra fee—a setup I’m really not a fan of. On top of that, since it’s held at the Fairgrounds, the strong smell of horse 💩 hangs in the air, which made the wait in the cold even less bearable. By the time I reached the front, my excitement had pretty much drained away. Unfortunately, the haunt itself didn’t redeem the experience. The actors rushed us through, and it felt much shorter than any other haunt I’ve been to. I’ve seen most in the area, so I know what a great haunt should feel like, and this just wasn’t it. The staff was friendly, which I appreciated, and I wanted to enjoy it, but it just didn’t deliver. Overall, I’m giving Four Scythes a 2/5 💀💀 for the 2024 season.
Gustavo C — Google review
It was scary good fun! The fast pass to move to the front of the line was totally worth it. I also bought the pass to allow my daughter to take video inside, and she was too scared to remember to take any video! We’ll be back next year!

This is my second year doing this haunt and both years have been completely different in every way!!! I highly recommend this. I went back to back tonight it was that good!!! There are scares at every corner and it’s just amazing!!! Not only is it scary but they donate the proceeds to charity. Everyone is a volunteer that works the haunt. It’s scary, fun and amazing what they do with the money!!! It’s good to know there’s still good people in this world!!!! Good job Four Scythes!!!! 💖💖💖

Mary Lucille's Bakery, Restaurant and Tea Room is a charming establishment that offers a delightful combination of Southern favorites and traditional British high tea with a Southern twist. The bakery features an array of delectable pastries including breads, biscuits, scones, rolls, brownies, petit fours, and cupcakes. Additionally, the exclusive tearoom is available for special occasions and provides a cheery and cute ambiance. The staff warmly welcomes guests and ensures a pleasant dining experience.
We’re on a brunch journey. Mary Lucille’s is our 3rd stop in 3 days. They are currently at top of our list! We loved every aspect of our visit here!!! I had the “Southern Eggs Benedict”, my wife had the “Hamlet Done Right” omelette. We also shared an order of the “Spicy Biscuits & Gravy”. FYI, the gravy was spiced just enough without being too spicy. Don’t be afraid of it! Did I mention the grits? You’ve got to try the grits! They don’t need anything added except for your fork! I had a really good spicy Bloody Mary too! The staff was awesome, and the environment was perfect!

Thank you so much Mary Lucille's for making my husbands birthday brunch a huge success! Melissa took my order a week before and said it would be no problem and she was RIGHT! Ordering was easy, pick up was simple thanks to Alex and Ash who helped me load everything. Also let me tell you the pastries were still warm from being freshly baked that morning! The car ride home smelled absolutely wonderful! I am super happy and will be placing more orders in the near future!

We had brunch here the week prior and saw the wonderful bakery but we're too full to try. We knew we would be back! Stopped in with our toddler to get her a sweet treat and small birthday cake. The staff were so incredibly kind and wonder withbour toddler. They were patient and interactive with her during her selection and brought out more staff to meet her. When we were getting ready to pay the offered an additional small cake for free for her birthday. That kind of surprise and delight along with some pretty amazing pastries really gave that small town community feeling. So happy we stopped in!

I’d like to show you the before photos but the food was excellent and didn’t last. I had the meatloaf lunch and it was delicious, the mashed potatoes had a nice garlic spice, the carrots tasted like candy. She had the green tomato Eggs Benedict with small has browns and a fruit salad I could get a quick picture before that also disappeared.

So thankful this place opened up nearby! Very cute, and the afternoon tea takes place in a quiet and nicely decorated room at the back of the restaurant. The pastries were delicious and the tea was high quality and tasted great. It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be coming back!

We had Sunday Supper here and it was so amazing. For Starters, I must say that waitress we had was so pleasant and attentive. The bread they bring to the table is next level delicious. We ordered the fried chicken dinner with squash casserole, mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes & a piece of strawberry cake for dessert (which was included with the meal)! Every single item was so good, we really enjoyed our experience and will be back.

ONE OF THE BEST BAKERY / BRUNCH RESTAURANTS IVE BEEN TO!!! This was an impeccable experience. 1. The atmosphere is a dream come true! It felt like I was in a classy resturant in London or Paris, soooo clean and pristine, beautiful decor and furniture. 2. The food, not only is delicious and rich and perfect.. it’s a HUGE PORTION for an INCREDIBLE price, please please keep it this way because the value of the food for the price is astonishingly amazing. I LOVED my omelette and I’m so grateful they have chicken sausage option since I don’t eat pork! Variety of options so vegetarians and vegans can also enjoy food here. The tea I got was the apple hibiscus and it was soooo flavorful and full of body 3. The staff are sooooo kind! From the host to the waiter to the people at the bakery front. I was amazed that people can be sooo kind and sweet!! THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE PLEASE GO HERE

The long awaited Mary Lucille’s Tea Room is just what our town needed! So cheery and cute! This is my third visit. Open for barely 2 weeks, starting methodically with a soft opening and gradually growing their hours and adjusting their offerings as the establishment monitoring what works, what doesn’t, working the kinks out, and growing into their plan. It’s an excellent concept and it is being implemented well. You are greeted with a complimentary pastry basket after your order is placed. The mini cinnamon buns are scrumptious!!! My next favorite are the mini blueberry muffins. Everything here is made from scratch. The butter is freshly whipped. The Chorizo Caliente Omelette is so good. The Garden Omelette is also very good. They come with crispy potatoes, and your choice of freshly made biscuit/English muffin/other breads as well as grits or fruit. Add-on items are also available. The Little Chickie - a chicken salad sandwich - comes on feather light fresh made sliced brioche bread and your choice of side item. The chicken salad has roasted chicken and lots of flavorful herbs. Today we are enjoying the Classic Eggs Benedict (the Southern Eggs Benedict includes Fried Green Tomatoes) a choice of side - crispy potatoes or creamy grits with an add-on of really good quality sausage patties - definitely not out of a box. It was excellent! Hubby was perusing the menu and stopped at the Chicken & Waffles. Sold! lol! The chicken tenders had a flavorful crispy batter and the Belgian waffle with whipped butter and Maple Syrup was spot-on good. We followed Breezie here - she works the bar and she kept us in the loop on the wonderful things that were to come prior to opening. She was so right! We will have to come back for the Breezie ‘tinis. She makes a wonderful creative variety of awesome martinis. Can’t wait to enjoy them again! When you come in the door, to the right is the bakery, so you can nip in for goodies. I just ordered their famed Easter Cake! They have cakes, pies, brownies, muffins, huge cinnamon buns, and a lovely selection of other yummy options - also, the bakery has party supplies, home decor, and gift items for purchase! So lovely!! I do hope they add 2-3 more chairs to the bar. I don’t mind having my back to the door. It’s a fun place to sit and watch all of the activity while we dine. For those who look at the prices and are concerned, yes, rents here in this development are high, so that gets factored in buttttt at Mary Lucille’s you certainly get your money’s worth with quality tasty food and a lot of work that went into creating it for you. You can taste the love! Brave the parking. It’s worth it!!

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill is a popular fast-food chain known for its delectable soft-serve ice cream and signature shakes. Customers rave about their mouthwatering blizzards, which are akin to an upscale version of the McFlurry. The service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant has a typical fast-food atmosphere that falls in line with other franchises. It is highly recommended for those seeking a quick yet elevated experience with soft serve treats.

Some Dairy queens or fast food chains seem to have a sadness in the atmosphere or bad vibes. This one felt great, food was good, and staff was nice. Later I heard christian music being played and that probably explained the different vibe.
Shaun C — Google review
So today I went to Dairy Queen, and the lady charged me $7.99 for the exact same meal that normally comes with a sundae except this time, there was no sundae. I specifically asked for the $7 meal deal and even told her I wanted vanilla for the sundae. At the window, she tried to tell me I ordered the “#11.” I said, “No, I ordered the $7 meal with the sundae.” Gaslighting me! She then says she has to charge me $3.89 extra for the sundae. I’m like, wait, what? You’re charging me more for the same thing but not even giving me the sundae? I was so annoyed I just said “forget it” and drove off. But it kept bothering me, so I called them. And to “make it right,” they offered me a free sundae next time I come in. Like… seriously? I already paid for the sundae…l actually paid a dollar more and didn’t get it! It’s not about the money, it’s the principle. The “owner” offered that free sundae like it was a favor. Thanks for getting me all worked up in front of my kids after having a beautiful day and having me go search for another sundae else where..
C T — Google review
Poor service, dirty place, pests running free around the store. Had issue with the app also, they didn't care, just said that's not us that's corporate. Last time I checked both are called Dairy Queen, you are the same brand to the customers and should tear them the same. We love DQ, but we will not be coming here again.

Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings is a popular fast-casual restaurant that offers a diverse selection of American comfort food, including crispy chicken tenders, wings, sandwiches, and other mouthwatering dishes. While some customers found the overall dining experience to be subpar due to the lack of attention to detail in food preparation and difficulty in consuming their meals, others appreciated the delicious flavors that were well-executed.

If I could leave no stars I would. Every time we come here something is wrong. We used to love this location but unfortunately it has gone down hill. The amount of times we have made orders-online and in the drive thru and they have left out whole meals is astounding and quite frankly disappointing as someone who has worked in the food industry. The manager there is quite rude as well and assumed we were trying to “steal” a $10 sandwich that we paid for and brought in the receipt- it’s pretty easy to see the issue is the management and the QC there.
Ruthi C — Google review
The food was fresh and tasty. I asked for light ice in my drink, but it was full of ice. I didn’t get a receipt back with my card so I thought it was in the bag. Nope no receipt given. I didn’t get an option for dipping sauce it was just placed inside my food, which I think is very unsanitary.

I literally hate when we have to come here, it’s the closet location to the house and my son loves the tenders. We ordered a Zac pack to feed 4 we thought 20 was enough and we only got 15. This is just annoying, something is always wrong
Vanesa L — Google review
I'm trying to be patient as I know places are just reopening, but this was a terrible experience. First, while checking out I ordered a salad which is not a meal and asked for a small drink. The cashier did not include it in the order. So he charged us three times and refunded twice trying to figure out how to add the drink. My salad was a blue buffalo with no buffalo sauce. The fried pickles we ordered were half just breading and no pickles, and the coleslaw my son got smelled absolutely rotten!! I took it to the counter to let them know we were afraid to eat it! I've ate at Zaxby's all over the southeast and this was a bad experience over all! Thank goodness this is not my regular Zaxby's. I will not be returning!

Dining was large and plenty of seating for a lunchtime crowd. We went for a quick snack. Service was good.

Size of “chicken tenders” were smaller than the size of the wings. For nearly $25 for 2 orders we expected the size to be more appropriate. Bread was not toasted, fries were cold and not seasoned. Unfortunately, Unable to contact a Zaxby’s customer service email.

Mexican restaurant
The cuisine at Balsas Mexican Restaurant is absolutely incredible, with their seafood soup being particularly noteworthy as it can easily satisfy two adults and is the most outstanding soup I've ever tasted. Their traditional dishes are exceptionally delicious, and the cozy atmosphere created by the family-run establishment adds to its charm. The only minor issue that seems to be consistent in many Mexican restaurants is the absence of seat numbers when taking orders, which can be slightly inconvenient for larger parties.
Forsyth, this hidden gem is the breakfast spot you are missing out on. Service was spot on, food was delicious, zero wait time, and very large menu selection (with good prices). Go support local....you won't be disappointed! (No hollandaise sauce is due to my dairy allergy.)

I lived around Atlanta in 2006 and I used to frequent Taco Mac for their awesome wings. It’s been a long time since I ate here and it didn’t disappoint. My service was outstanding. It’s not enough to meet expectations, in this day and age, you need to exceed them. After I paid, the manager walked over and said “I heard you haven’t been here for a long time. Please enjoy dessert on us.” Talk about a “Wow experience”. 5 out of 5 for this restaurant. Thank you for the tasty dessert.

Very impressed with this team! From the moment we walked in (busy Saturday Night, watching the Dawgs!) we were welcomed and taken back to be seated (Wade, one of the managers seated us, he was great!) Everyone we came into contact with was bright and kind, seems like everyone was happy! Our food was quick to come out, portion size was good (we got the 20ct wings) and Shelby was on point! Nature & Parks
Located on the shores of Lake Lanier, Mary Alice Beach Park is a day-use recreational area that offers a sandy beach, picnic areas with tables, BBQ grills, and boat ramps. This park in Cumming is an ideal destination for families looking to spend quality time together. The beach provides ample space for children to play in the sand and construct sandcastles. Throughout the park, visitors can find numerous picnic tables and grills where they can enjoy lakeside dining.
Really cool area to enjoy some time by the lake with great sand and a picnic area. It was a great place to take a walk. We really enjoyed the area. There are parking meters next to the lot and there is even a boat ramp for those trying to get onto the lake.

Great park to hangout with friends family and kids too. Lots of space and fresh air, the beach is great also saw some people fishing if you are interested in that, good amount of parking and easy access to the road as well.
S K — Google review
The place used to be good, peaceful and CLEAN. Unfortunately, since the price has risen it is always packed and the restrooms are always horrible, Stinky and is NO one supervising people behaving and or cleaning anything.
Ainat L — Google review
Great place to relax and enjoy the beach. Clear air and quiet environment.
Sardar K — Google review
Beautiful, clean, and serene beach. Very relaxing environment. Will definitely return to visit.
Eunice W — Google review
Excellent beach right on Lake Lanier. Does get a bit crowded on weekends but lots of parking and large sand beach area. Has a multi lane boat launch and even kayak and paddle board rentals on weekends.
Jim C — Google review
This place is very clean and has great amenities. Charcoal barbecue and very clean restrooms.
Omid K — Google review
Beautiful beach in Lake Lanier. We went there on Labor day weekend and it was not much crowded. There are plenty Grills and bench available. You can sit near beach and enjoy the nature. There is a 10$ entry fee for Cars to enter to the park. There is a Public Restroom as well next to the Beach.

Walking trail & 2 boat ramps amid the woods on the south side of Lake Lanier.
Went to this place for a short hike today. It was quite lovely and the temperature was perfect. It was free to get in and they actually allow dogs here unlike other places around the dam. We will definitely be doing more walks here. It was very peaceful.

I love this park. Although there’s no bathrooms there is a near by gas station ⛽️ you can go to. This is the perfect place to make a fire, hang a hammock, and lay out a blanket and read a book. This is a perfect place for a walk or to sit and relax. Definitely 💯 my favorite park in Forsyth!
Brandi H — Google review
Beautiful park and a moderate trail of around 1.2miles. Most of trail is around the lake with picturesque views and benches for capturing the scenic views. Many beach like spots to enjoy picnic with family and friends. Ample parking for cars and trailers. Boats are also available.
Atul S — Google review
Cute little park but the main attraction is the launch ramp for boats onto Lake Lanier. Had a lovely evening sunset cruise courtesy of a friend's pontoon boat. A glass of wine, a loaf of bread and cheese and friends beside me cruising in the wilderness. What's not to like?
Michael F — Google review
A nice quiet little park. Hiking trail is a nice little walk around the lake. Mostly shaded with places to stop and sit.
Mallory “ — Google review
Nice, shaded dirt trail and ample parking. Folks seemed to spread out at the many places to get in the water. I was impressed with how little litter there was. Never found the restrooms.
Beth W — Google review
One of many beautiful lake marinas and parks to choose from. We enjoyed putting in here. Parking for cars is limited, so arrive early or walk further. Also, note there is not restroom. The dock and ramp were well maintained, and the lake is gorgeous green!
Onna K — Google review
Beautiful park with lots of beach-like areas. The start of the trail is marked but nothing else so even though you can’t really get lost, it’s kind of hard to figure out which way to go. No restrooms, free parking.

Nature & Parks
Windermere Park is a lovely outdoor space featuring an open grassy field, nature trail, enclosed dog park, playground, and picnic shelter. The dog park is divided for small and large dogs and is well-maintained. Visitors can enjoy the playground, walking trail through wooded areas, and access to the nearby creek. However, some visitors have noted that after heavy rain there may be large puddles in the park due to drainage issues.
Windermere Park offers a peaceful, well-maintained environment with beautiful walking trail. The playground is great for kids. Additionally, there’s a separate area for dogs, which is perfect for pet owners. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing or a leisurely walk, making it a lovely escape from the bustle of daily life. A wonderful place for all ages!
Srinivas K — Google review
Love this place for the dog park and trail. As of June 5, 2024; the dog park is closed for renovations. Update: July 31st or earlier, it's back open. A lovely place. There's a nice creek to play in as well.
Anthony W — Google review
Very nice park for walking, jogging, or exercising your dog. I come here almost every day. Good parking and clean rest rooms. Very well maintained by FOCO Parks & Rec.
Russ H — Google review
Great community park with something for everyone! The kids’ play area is clean and well maintained, and the separate dog park makes it easy to bring pets along too. Plenty of free parking available, which is a big plus. A nice spot for families and dog owners alike.
Venkatesh C — Google review
Great dog park! My dog and I love coming here to play and run around. The dog park is divided for small and large dogs and during the weekdays is usually pretty quite. Very clean and generally well kept, although there are one or two small holes from other dogs that like to dig. The rest of the park is nice as well, it has a playground a little ways away from the dog area, a nice walking trail that goes back into a wooded area, and access to the creek that runs alongside the park! Highly recommend if you are looking for a quieter dog park with less people and furry friends!
Annabeth M — Google review
Wonderful Park to walk your dog... There are two fenced areas for small and large dogs.. wide open area and trails nearby.. be careful of those with pups not on a leash...!
Patricia O — Google review
Large and small fenced dog spaces. Water not on for dogs at our visit. Open off leash area with creek for the more disciplined pup although park rules state all dogs must be on leash...
Gary M — Google review
It’s been raining a lot and the park had lots of big puddles that I didn’t want to walk through without waterproof shoes. It would be nice if the drainage was better. It’s a simple park, although the separated big/small dog park is a nice feature.

Mexican restaurant
Tacos & Tequilas Mexican Grill is a lively establishment that offers classic Mexican dishes such as fajitas and tacos. With an energetic ambiance, this cantina boasts a fully stocked bar and a spacious patio. Patrons can expect attentive service and delicious food at this restaurant. Accessible to those in wheelchairs, the staff accommodates groups by combining tables for a shared dining experience. Visitors rave about their enjoyable meals and express intentions to return in the future.
Amazing service! Diana was so kind and attentive, and really made our meal special. Nancy, the manager, also checked in to be sure everything was perfect—such great leadership. Delicious food and outstanding staff. Highly recommend!
Caelis F — Google review
We are new to town and decided to try somewhere new for dinner. Even with the high reviews we were expecting average because of the town we were in and being told there wasn't any authentic Mexican places in town. Well we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food here was. Our server was fantastic and she was very on top of it. The only reason atmosphere got a 4 is because it was a bit loud because it was packed and someone was having a birthday (they get a bday pass) and napkins kept blowing off our table when someone opens the patio door. I typically prefer quiet restaurants but all the staff working tonight were on par. However we had a very lovely dinner and everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back here to try more things on the menu.
Kate W — Google review
First time here and wonder why we didn't visit earlier. Awesome interior, great food and music. Good and probably a lot of staff, lol. They all were dressed nicely and not sure why but they were hanging out in groups. The kids loved this place. Portion size is not typical.
Vaibhav B — Google review
The staff was excellent and courteous, the place was very clean and well decorated. The best part though was the food, I was far too busy eating it to take pictures. The food is authentic the salsa was incredible as well as the enchiladas Verde. Everything was on point and the bathroom was also well maintained. We will be returning any time we want good Spanish food. We are from South FL and had been missing good food like this!

Our server Haley Q was super nice. Great food and atmosphere. Photos by Homeric now in Atlanta.

A couple of weeks ago we dined at Tacos & Tequilas. My husband and I were just hanging out and decided to eat here. As always the food was really great, but the service on this particular day was outstanding. I won't go into detail, but Jose went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. He was compassionate and kind, well beyond his responsibilities as a server. Jose also caught an error that was made when paying our check. Fabian reasured me about the issue and had great follow through and follow up. Tacos & Tequilas will always be our go to when we're in the Cumming, GA area. Not just great food, but truly, great people.
SR S — Google review
My family and I came to eat here for dinner and it was my first time ordering the Mango salmon with cilantro rice and grilled veggies. I HIGHLY recommend this dish. I order salmon at nearly every restaurant I go to, but this one takes the cake!

1st time here. Everything was delicious from the pickles, to cole slaw, grilled pineapple 🍍 so yummy. We also have fresh cut fries, Mac and cheese and pizza too. We will be back.

Cue is a barbecue spot located in Cumming, GA. It’s a very lively spot with drinks and any kind of barbecue you’d like. They have table and bar service and both have great staff waiting on you! It can get crowded but a small wait is worth it!
Jasonn D — Google review
The food was pretty sub par. It was good but nothing more than good. The brisket was dry, the French fries were cold, and the smoked chicken salad was pretty plain. The Mac and cheese was pretty tasty.
Addy M — Google review
This place welcome you with the awesome scent of barbecue. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Service was friendly and responded to our requests really quick. Food was yummy. We shared the barbecue nachos and it was good size for two people. My little one got grilled cheese sandwich with fries. They were good. Menu has plenty of options for everyone. Place was clean and music wasn’t too loud; which is always good 😊
Teresa S — Google review
I had both dine in and then take out experience from this location.I am not super impressed with the bbq ribs, its definitely good but not the extra ordinary. The side of sweet potato cassarole was definitely a good one.The servers are definitely great & friendly. They have live music so that makes the environment special.Overall I would recommend for trying out your own.

10/10 Cue Barbecue is easily one of the best BBQ spots around. The food comes out fresh, hot, and full of flavor every time.
Andre B — Google review
We had Cue for our wedding and they were truly amazing! Food was over the top and service was amazing. Capris was super nice and helped us so much through the process. 12/10 recommend for catering!
Kayla B — Google review
The food was amazing especially the chicken salad and the bread that came with it. Our server Ramsey was top notch!!!!! As a former server, I was absolutely impressed with her! The only less than 5 star part of evening was the live musician, he just wasn’t our vibe. Still, we were very impressed with our dinner overall. We are visiting from Florida and will definately come back the next time we are in the area.
