Simon Pearce is a refined American restaurant located in a restored 19th-century mill, offering picturesque views of a waterfall. The restaurant's open-air patio provides an ideal setting for dining during warmer months. In addition to its delectable dishes made from local ingredients, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the Ottauquechee Falls. Visitors can also enjoy the adjacent Simon Pearce glass blowing studio and take in the stunning sights of Quechee Falls and the Ottauquechee River.
A very delicious dinner!! They had gluten free bread rolls and several options for my gluten free husband. He had a pork chop that was amazing and moist. I had the lamb and the meat was so tender. We also had the Vermont cheese plate which was very good. We could have skipped the burrata. The service was also perfect! The view over the river was awesome and we enjoyed walking around the glass store and watching the glass blowers. A very memorable meal, great for a special occasion.
Vanessa P — Google review
We tried going for lunch, but the restaurant asks for reservations; so we had to do one for dinner. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. I was not impressed with the drinks, however, but I like sweet drinks and there was nothing on the menu to my taste. The lamb was very tender, and the mint jelly was a nice touch. The pineapple cake was very good as well. I would recommend and go back again.
Chaffinch — Google review
Didn't eat here but the restraunt looked very high end and elegant! The glass works are beautiful but expensive in my world. You can watch the skilled glass blowers at work and it was incredible their skill. I'm sure their work is worth the price but it's a bit out of my price range.
Joe J — Google review
Phenomenal atmosphere! The food was delicious!! Our waitress was super sweet as well. I also enjoyed shopping around in the retail section of the store. They also have a space downstairs where you can watch people hand blow glass. Very cool! Would definitely go back!
Shelby H — Google review
This was a great place to really immerse yourself into handmade glass pieces. When you walk in from the covered bridge, you walk right into the work space and can watch the pieces be made and talk with the craftsmen. Upstairs is the showroom with the finished pieces for sale. They also have "The Seconds" room for pieces that didn't quite make it to the high standards held... but still great pieces. We did not eat at the restaurant but if the food is anything like the glass- it's probably amazing
Hanna H — Google review
Outstanding place to grab dinner. We sat at the bar and ordered 3 appetizers. The cheddar soup, cheese plate, and whipped feta. The soup and cheese plate were amazing. The whipped feta was very good, but more runny then I am accustomed to. The atmosphere and service were great. They serve their drinks and their glassware. The glasses and heavy and solid feeling. Highly recommend stopping here, if you are in the area.
R K — Google review
I love everything about this restaurant! Our server, Sue, was the epitome of excellent service! Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable about the menu but not pushy. The hostess was as well, just delightful. Suzanne, bartender, made a fabulous cosmo!! I have been bragging about this restaurant to my husband for years, and tonight, he got to experience it. Thank you for making a wonderful memory for us.
Cindy B — Google review
Unfortunately was not able to experience the dining aspect of this Simon Pearce. However, watching the handblown glass pieces being made was addicting. You can walk downstairs and start watching their employees make glass pieces intricately, carefully and want to spend the rest of the afternoon there. From a bolt of molten glass, to being shaped, blown and molded into a vase, you cannot help but watch and ask questions. Take the time, visit and you will be juat as enthralled.

This shop was everything I hoped it would be. We purchased multiple pieces! The furniture is high quality and in excellent condition for its age. There is a lot to look at - tribal decor, art, vintage books, furniture, tools, small chandeliers, lamps, area rugs and more.

Great spot with lovely and interesting items - from furniture, books, art, carpets, jewelry, china, lamps, African masks, and so much more! Prices seem very reasonable and owner and his team are very helpful. Highly recommend!

What an amazing spot!!! The store is huge, so prepare to spend some time (and money) there. Lots of hidden gems and great deals.
Emily O — Google review
First floor is definitely on the pricey side but once you go up you can find find a few good gems at a good price too! Atmosphere is good, seems mom and pop owned with lots of stuff. Found myself some almanacs from 1860s and there were more spread throughout the second floor I left behind. This is a great spot to come in and look around even if you dont find anything you wanna take home. Would recommend!

Lovely stuff, from top to bottom. We visit the area every year, and inevitably stop at the Antiques Collaborative. While much is expensive, there are bargains to be had -- including the antique sign we picked up this summer.

Park
Quechee Green Park is a delightful destination that truly comes alive during the annual balloon festival held on Father's Day weekend. This vibrant event features an array of activities from 6 AM to 6 PM, including live music, delicious food options, and unique shopping experiences. Families can enjoy kid-friendly attractions like a train ride around the park and tethered balloon rides for those eager to experience the sky.
Balloon Festival was in town and it was something to see. We went for two days as you pay once and it is good for the entire weekend. Lots of entertainment, food and events in the sky.
Tricia C — Google review
Every year they hold the balloon festival in Father's Day weekend. It's always a treat to see some of the regulars and each year are some new comers. They have a slew of activities in between the 6am and 6pm launches. Live music, food, gift shopping, activities for kids including the train that travels around the festival. At least one balloon hangs around to do tethered balloon rides. Ample parking and handicap parking as well. Friday and Saturday nights they do a balloon glow after the balloons that launched have landed. It's great fun for family and even if you are alone.
Bev O — Google review
Only one balloon was inflated while we were there. However, there were lots of artisans booths to explore.
Tracy R — Google review
Nice park with a good playground (with toddler swings) and a big grassy field.

Nice well kept park for the people to enjoy. A public area for everyone, a lot of fun social events take place here, tax money well spent. Good thing it does not belong to a private club, only for some people to enjoy!

A great place for a pleasant walk by the river with a long range view of the mountains beyond. There are no amenities and it takes a while for the QLLA Association to prepare it after a long winter but it is well worth the wait.

Coffee shop
Long-running chain serving signature breakfast items & a variety of coffee drinks.
This is one of the best Dunkin’ locations I’ve ever visited! The hand soap smelled amazing, the hand dryer was eco-friendly, and the fall/Halloween décor was absolutely on point. Huge shout-out to the manager deserves a promotion or a big bonus! (They are just extremely slow! It took 15 min for us to get our teas and it was not crowded so enjoy the decor while you’re waiting! Lol)
Nemo N — Google review
For some reason no matter how many times they change staff at this Dunkin they always manage to screw up basic orders. The last 3 times I’ve come here (lack of other quick options in the area) they have given me the wrong order (can’t tell the difference between an english muffin vs croissant) and they cook any sign of life or edibility out of the hash-browns. Please fire the manager of this location and get someone who can competently hire and train staff. (Hash brown in the picture is hard as a rock and breaks like glass)
Nathan E — Google review
The manager at the Quechee Dunkin’, Samantha, is the worst example of customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m a local, and I’ve never been treated this poorly at any Dunkin’. She is rude, dishonest, and openly hostile not only to customers but also to her own staff. When I ordered a simple pup cup for my dog, she lied straight to my face about a “policy” that doesn’t even exist, got visibly angry that I had the nerve to ask for one, and then loudly talked about me through the drive-through window while I was still sitting right there in my car. On top of that, they got my order wrong twice. When I tried to correct it, Samantha admitted she “didn’t know how to charge” me for the medium I had actually ordered instead of the small she already rang me up for even though it was her mistake to begin with. I have worked in the service industry for a long time, and was not annoyed even for a second for them getting my order wrong, so I don’t understand why she acted like I was being a jerk. I’ve already contacted corporate and confirmed with the closest Dunkin’ location that what she said was a complete lie. The other women working were polite and tried to resolve the situation, but Samantha only escalated it. Instead of being a leader, she chooses to be nasty, unhelpful, and openly disrespectful. To make matters worse, she presents herself in a greasy, unhygienic way that perfectly matches her unprofessional attitude. The entire atmosphere of this store is poisoned by her behavior, and it’s clear she thrives on conflict rather than customer service. This is not just a bad day or one rude interaction this is a manager who should not be managing anything. This location is known by locals as always being laughably bad because orders are always wrong or things take longer, but in the past month it has been significantly worse. I’m not even wasting my time by going here anymore. I can deal with slow service due to understaffing, or small mistakes. But arrogance and managers disrespecting their staff is unacceptable to me. Until Dunkin’ removes Samantha from this location, I’ll be warning others to steer clear. She makes the entire brand look bad.
Grace D — Google review
The staff here are always working their butts off and are polite while doing so. This location deserves more recognition from the corporation.
Kara P — Google review
I asked if the refreshers have caffeine and was told that they don’t. I googled it after I bought it and they actually have a lot of caffeine. The large that I got had 135 mg. I can’t drink this and they wasted my money.
Rachel — Google review
Horrible customer service!! Whoever the lady was who was working on 10/22/22 at 12:53pm, fought with me when I called saying the coffee was cold. She continued to say “it’s not cold, you’re lying. I brewed the coffee myself”. When I asked her for a refund she refused saying the coffee isn’t cold. What the heck? Very unprofessional and rude!!!!
Marissa P — Google review
This is a great location, convenient to my home and they all pretty much know me by name. 😁 I do wish that the managers at all locations would update their amounts in the app - at the very least, shut off ordering on something if they can't make it (somewhat like Starbucks does).
Cassidy T — Google review
Staff loudly making fun of customers in the drive thru, bickering with each other and then called me ‘retarded’ for wanting to wait for my husband to order. Didn’t bothering ordering

My oh my this place was truly amazing! The staff: incredibly friendly and patient while we asked what seemed to be hundreds of questions about their menu and history of the place. The staff all seemed happy to be there. The food: incredibly delicious! 🤩 I’ve never thought crepes could be served any other way than just dessert, but this place nailed it. I’d eat here daily if we lived nearby!

I stopped by during a trip to Vermont. I tried the Apple & Brie crêpe and it was delicious. The combination of the brie with the blueberry compote was great. I would 100% become a regular if I was local. I will come back whenever I'm back in the area. Parking out front was easy. Service was friendly and quick. Thr atmosphere was great too. I stopped by on a Saturday after 6pm. The place was quiet and there was no wait time. IG @soni.gallego

This place is amazing!! Staff is great and friendly, everything is always clean, and the crepes are delicious! I love the peach Melba crepe special (pictured), as well as the cubano crepe. If you’re not a crepe person, the chicken Caesar wrap was awesome too! I’m never disappointed when I go!
Sophia T — Google review
Mixed opinions in my group. The atmosphere and service were great! Loved everything about that. But the food portions and flavors were hit and miss. The Deja Vu was the best overall. The breakfast sandwich suffered a lack of flavor. The burrito was good but isn’t made with meat, so we had to ask for some. The drinks were wonderful! I would come here again if in the area. It’s a pretty decent meal as far as ingredients and health, but the plates are on the smaller side.
Gina P — Google review
Quechee, Vermont’s Best Place for Brunch! Skinny Pancake in Quechee, VT meets all of your breakfast desires while also offering other delicious food options and drinks. During my visit today, I had the Sugarshack crepes made with Butternut Mountain Farm maple sugar and local Vermont maple syrup, paired with a cozy, hot maple latte. These crepes were hands down the best I have ever had. They were tender, light, and didn’t sit too heavy, while still being filling and satisfying. The coffee was delicious and perfectly balanced, complementing the food beautifully. The atmosphere was bright and lively, yet still relaxed and welcoming. The space was clean and cheerful, with friendly and considerate staff. This awesome restaurant has thoughtfully prepared dishes, quality drinks, and an atmosphere brimming with local charm. Skinny Pancake is definitely an experience that celebrates Vermont’s flavors and spirit in just the first few bites of a meal. Whether you’re a local stopping in for a bite or a tourist seeking a taste of the region, this is a place that delivers every time, making this a spot that locals can take pride in and visitors will remember long after they leave. Thank you so much Skinny Pancake for such an amazing experience!

I went in with my family this weekend and had the best experience! I have celiacs and tried a variety of sweet & savory crepes made with the GF buckwheat crepe. They were all delicious and the staff was well informed, assuring me that they take proper procedures to keep me safe with my food allergy. The atmosphere was lively with some fun VT funk, the staff was happy & attentive despite the never ending line out the door! The staff did let us know how long the wait would be, but we recieved our food quicker then expected. My whole family was happy and full when we left. Thank you skinny, we'll be back soon!

What a fun stop along the way. We absolutely loved the vibe, good oldies music playing in the background lots of plants and sunlight! The food was really good, my first time having a crepe, I had the Cubano, it was so tasty! My husband had The Heartbreaker, we added local VT maple syrup which was the perfect topper! The barista Nicole made us a Pumpkin Spice Latte, she delivered it and told us about a few local spots to check out. Happy we spotted this place on our way through town.

Great nature centre. Kids 5 and 10 enjoyed thoroughly and wanted to visit again. We spent all day there 10-5 :-). Staff had educational and engaging programming every half an hour to an hour. Lots of things to do. The staff were great and real champions of the nature center and their animals.

Fun and educational place to learn about rescued birds of many kinds. The forest walk up in the trees is great! There is an observation deck 100 feet up that gives spectacular views all around. Excellent place for kids and families to visit.

This place is worth the drive and visit. Really beautiful area no road noise lots of wonderful exhibits and alot of facts. The canopy walk was truly epic and I for one loved the details the spider web the eagle sculptures but the tree top canopy climb was so worth the extra couple of steps. Would love to see what spring is like and how beautiful the snowy weather would be like. Def worth it and make sure to donate a lil bit if you can. A rare gem that I saw on social media

Loved this place, a great place for kids. Our favorite was the canopy walk and the huge spider net that the kids could go in. So many birds and owls, plus the kids loved the dinosaurs. There was also a great little beaver room for toddlers.

A must visit and worth going out of your way for. Why? Help support the care and rehabilitation of the birds they have including bald eagles and owls (was that Hedwig?). Fun for the whole family on their elevated trail (seems accessible for everyone), The views are amazing too. Wonderful staff and 100% worth visiting.

Absolute must-see if youre in the area. There's a stunning tree canopy boardwalk with a massive observation tower. Treeweaves (aka spacenets) for kids to flop on and test their fear of heights. Lots of owls, ravens, crows, hawks, and eagles to get acquainted with. During Christmas its all lit up with lights and magical. During the Summer the foliage is thick and really makes you feel like youre in dense forest. Im adding some pics but it doesnt do it justice.

They also have some pretty neat things you will learn inside along with a penny press machine 🪙 We enjoyed today so very much, as this was our pups 1st time here and everyone was so welcoming, friendly, kind, and even enjoyed seeing our puppy have the time of his life 😊 What a beautiful gem this place is 🙏 Thank you for taking such good care of this place so we can enjoy it each year ❣️

This place was incredible and I would love to come back. The campgrounds were clean and well maintained. The staff was very kind and helpful. I felt very safe here and I wasn't worried for the safety of my children (not all state parks are this secure or family friendly). The gorge is incredible and the swimming area is family friendly and worth the walk.

Very clean and well kept state park. We loved that there was a trail down into the gorge and to the visitors center. Beautiful scenery and close to silver lake State Park for swimming.
Justin M — Google review
Beautiful walk to the river bed, you can see the reflection of the Quechee gorge bridge in the river if you walk down close to the riverside. The gorge view from the bridge was also beautiful, but water level was low. Traffic was bad here due to the closure of one lane on the bridge for construction.

The dam and waterfall were ok to see, but you cant get close because of safety concerns. The gorge is about a half mile hike, but worth it. You can go swimming, i recommend bringing some sort of watershoes. Lots of sharp rocks. Very quiet. Fun for all ages

Located in Quechee, the Public House Pub is a popular bar and grill offering a mix of classic and innovative dishes in a charming diner setting. The restaurant is known for its ample whiskey selection and also offers takeout options. Visitors praise the consistent quality of food, inviting atmosphere, and attentive service provided by Andrew and his team. The establishment is celebrated as a go-to spot for dining with friends, enjoying live music, and encountering familiar faces from the community.
Great restaurant, a hidden gem. The food was fantastic. The Crab Cake dinner was one of the best we have ever had--lots of crab meat in a delicious lemon butter sauce and fresh vegetables that were perfectly cooked. We also had the Prime Rib Melt that was garlic crusted and amazing! The service was great and I think it was the owner who walked around and checked on the customers to see how their meals were. That was impressive considering it was a busy Sunday evening dinner crowd. Plus, the prices were very reasonable. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by!
Ed P — Google review
Food was OK. Overall underseasonsed and just kind of flat. Also, we got appetizers and about 5 minutes later our main meals came out. I really think that the cook should give you at least 15 minutes to work on your appetizers before the main meals come out so our food just sat there on the table for about 15 to 20 minutes. Would recommend work on your timing, I'd like to enjoy my food. Went there for seafood festival. It was all just OK, the rangoons didnt reallyhave any seafood in them shrimp and grits fell flat, just not good. Mahi tacos were good, crab bisque just OK at best. Waitstaff was very nice.

This place was excellent. Brought a group of 36 in and they were very professional and friendly from start to finish. Our group menu had a choice of salmon, ribs, or chicken schnitzel. I had the schnitzel and it was amazing. The entire group was raving about their meals. Would return without hesitation. Great area near the gorge and many shops.

We happened in here on their 10-year anniversary date. The owner welcomed us and took our order, and his staff couldn't have been friendlier. The food was great, and the price is reasonable. I don't think you can go wrong stopping here for a good meal.

This place had the best food and great atmosphere. Big Thank you to Kyle, he was awesome. Well the first tine experience was great so we went back a second time. Well we told our waitress that we was going drink a couple of drinks then eat since it was my birthday. We got our second drink. We started out with tater tots then the manager came over and in very rude way and told us our 90mins was up and we need to leave. It would have been nice if the waitress said something but oh wait there was a sign out front. The problem is half of the restaurant was empty. The manager was so rude and we had take our drinks and tater tots with us. If your vermont and here for vacation and it is your birthday please dont go there. Rude manager

I had the ribeye dinner and it was delicious! Our server was attentive & so pleasant. I really liked the decorations inside. They had someone playing music out on the patio, it looked like a good time.

Food was delicious! Had the salmon and also shared fries with that yummy garlic aioli. The service was fast and great and they had live music (Allie & Seth) who were EXCELLENT.

The Snack Bar at the Gorge offers delectable food, albeit a bit costly. Their menu includes mouthwatering dishes like chocolate milkshakes, root beer floats, and Widow Maker – French fries topped with delicious BBQ pulled pork and cheese sauce. The portion size is generous, leaving patrons full even without finishing their meal. It's an ideal spot for lunch after exploring nearby hiking trails and admiring the beautiful scenery.
We had just arrived at Quechee Gorge and the first thing we did was get some food at Snack Bar At The Gorge. I had a bacon cheeseburger with French fries. Wife had clam chowder. We both had milkshakes. The prices were reasonable. I found the staff to be nice. We enjoyed our food. This place is adjacent to the gorge. There seemed to be plenty of parking when I was there.

Great seafood. We had ice cream cones with a scoop of two varieties in each. All four varieties were excellent. Food and ice cream portions are generous. Seating is at outdoor picnic tables or in a picnic pavilion. Owner (who was cooking the food) and staff were super nice. This is a small, family-run business.

I got the fried scallops and they were honestly some of the best I've ever had. My wife got the fried clams and she was very happy. Huge portions of fries (unsalted). The ice cream is very good too.

Huge portions and fast service, we were spending the day in the area hiking and sightseeing and decided to try the fried seafood. The combos are very large and one is more than enough for two people. The scallops and shrimp were very good, the fries were not good.

A little pricey but honestly it was really delicious. I got a chocolate milkshake, partner got a root beer float, and we shared an order of a widow maker, with is French fries topped with delicious bbq pulled pork and cheese sauce. The portion size was huge for that. We were both full and didn’t even finish the full container. It was a perfect lunch for after hiking the trails near by the gorge and taking in the scenery. They had a nice area with picnic tables to sit either in the shade or under the sun to enjoy our meals.

Tourist trap by definition. It takes a lot for me to leave a one star review. Tasteless onion rings, heavily fried, old french fries. Burger tasted like it was a low quality frozen patty. Pulled pork sandwich with almost zero bbq sauce on it… Expensive too… They actually over charged me by $8 as well, glad my Venmo App showed me the amount charged. No wonder they don’t offer you a receipt or ask if you’d like one. Tough to tell if it was an honest mistake or not, I am shocked that the reviews exceed 3 stars.

The portions are large and the seafood is fresh. My husband had the Combo platter and I had Clam Strips. Soooo good! I would highly recommend!

This is the most delicious ice cream I have ever had! So creamy, its almost marshmallowy! And you’re surrounded by nature and a gorge and beautiful scenic routes- cant think of a better idea than a hike followed by some of the best ice cream on earth… which can be acquired here 💜🙏🏽
