Bridges
The Bridge of Flowers, located in the Town of Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, is a former trolley bridge transformed into a stunning garden filled with thousands of flowers and shrubs. This picturesque spot is a must-visit when exploring the area or looking for a day trip from nearby cities. The village also offers charming cafes, boutique shops, and yoga studios to explore. Additionally, visitors can find markers noting filming locations of popular movies throughout the town.
I know about this town due they're coffee and quality of food. With the wify, we organized a day a little bit far from our common area and this was one of the stops. The place by itself it is beautiful, it is in a river surrounded by small mountains. The size will be around a short block or a couple of blocks walking. They have many many different species for flowers, ferns and other plans and all looks amazing. This place it is a quick will, you come visit this flower bridge, have great fun and after that you can explore the area. I do recommend visiting this place 100%.
Jorge V — Google review
We loved it! It was so beautiful and well maintained. We walked back and forth across it a few times. Many of the flowers are so fragrant. I love that there are benches along the bridge to sit and enjoy the flower garden.
Lynn J — Google review
Beautiful place. It's a small narrow bridge over the Deerfield river, that used to be a trolley way which was converted into a walkway with flowers on either side. So many different types of flowers, lots of bees buzzing near the flowers. Very nice place for some macro photos
Krishna V — Google review
This spot is perfect for pausing to simply stop and smell the roses. There's convenient 2-hour free parking on the west side of the river, clearly marked by signs. At the bridge, you'll find a visitor sign-in sheet, a donation box, and a variety of pamphlets offering historical insights and information about the area. A few benches are thoughtfully placed along the bridge, making it a lovely place to sit and enjoy butterfly releases, buzzing bees, and birds in flight.
Paul P — Google review
Visiting the Bridge of Flowers was a great experience. Discovered so many, new to me, varieties of flowers. Beautiful colors all around. It is a rebuilding season there now. I cannot wait to go again to see what's next.
Jayne B — Google review
I've never seen so many different flowers. The colors are so captivating. There's also a cute little cafe at the end of it. Definitely a great little spot to visit in season!
Sarah G — Google review
Just so lovely. This is the new one after the old one had to come down since it was more than 100 years old, so the flowers will be even more abundant and established in a few years. At the end of the season it was packed with gorgeous zinnias, marigolds, late petunias, etc. Definitely worth the trip.
Magda P — Google review
We went on a weekend day and it was pretty busy. Still absolutely beautiful. Just FYI, no dogs allowed on the actual bridge. Still, it was gorgeous. Plenty of shops and places to eat nearby too.

Geologic Formations
Shelburne Falls Potholes, located just to the left of Bridge Street, is a must-see attraction in Shelburne Falls. These unique potholes were formed by the grinding action of small stones caught in rushing whirlpools during the retreat of glaciers. Visitors can enjoy the view from an observation deck and take in the area's natural beauty. The town itself offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere with friendly locals, quaint shops, and eateries.
As a geocacher, I had to snag this find for the unique geographic phenomenon. Parallel parking very close to the lookout point. There's benches and a monument sign. Water was really flowing today and its a nice spot to stop for a few moments as you explore Western Mass.
Sabrina B — Google review
it's super easy to find parking most days somewhere in that little downtown area. the sounds of the falls are so warm and nice and the potholes are gorgeous, and a must see if you're in the area!
Chase G — Google review
This is a great spot with benches where you can sit, take in the view, and relax for a while. While you are in the area, be sure to check out the flower bridge too!
Summer Y — Google review
A nice spot to view a very cool and unusual geological formation. The potholes has ample parking and places to sit and enjoy the view. The actual potholes are visible during low water flow. When there's flooding, this area has very fast and aggresive flow that makes for good viewing.
Liam T — Google review
Its deffinitely a great site and a good experience. Very inspiring. However its pretty much a "stop for a break" NOT "a destination" anymore. I realize we are all very worried about public safety, but this has been relegated to a "see only" not an experience you can take home.. ie: No bathrooms or porta-potties. Access to the even the edge of the river downstream is sourounded by no trespassing private property signs. You can see it from a lookout platform. As compared to years past, you could "walk on the pothole rocks", get to the water and feel the invigorating spray on your face, and generally take in the experience. Those days are gone. But, still a neat site to behold if UR in the area, esp in mid-spring when the flow is roaring!
Panos G — Google review
Very interesting area. The color of the boulders in the river are amazing. The board walk and viewing area are well built and safe and nicely decorated with flowering plants. Amazing to listen to the river rushing over the damn. Definitely worth the trip especially with kids.
John P — Google review
Fascinating geology! Sadly, it’s all fenced off to stop the darwinists.
Artie G — Google review
Beautiful landscape! The history is very interesting. Unfortunately because of covid, the Bridge of Flowers was not available. Quaint shops. Fabulous well priced antiques, IMHO.: D Have not dined there but there are plenty of eateries. I heard mention the bakery on one of the side streets was the place to go. Great place to take out of town guests.

Shelburne Falls Bowling Alley

Bowling alley
Recreation center
Sports bar
Sports complex
The Shelburne Falls Bowling Alley, established in 1906 and temporarily closed due to COVID, is a charming spot with just eight lanes. It offers candlepin bowling, a unique variation of the game where players use small balls and skinny pins. The alley's cozy atmosphere and well-maintained lanes make it a great place for both locals and visitors.
Family owned and operated by one of the nicest families in Western MA. Perfect place to take the family. Tons of history, great drinks, great prices.... this place is a slam dunk every time
Mark L — Google review
I came here to be in a bowling tournament. This place is very small. It has a very small bar when you walk into this place. You have to take off your shoes at the front door. The bowling ally is in the back of the bar. The bowling ally has 8 lanes and it is a candle pin bowling ally. This bowling ally is very different than any other bowling ally. Is because this bowling ally has a ball return on the wall. Also this place has door bell buttons on the ball returns to reset the pins. The staff are nice and friendly. The floors are clean. In order to park your car you have to park on the main road then walk down this small ally way to the bowling ally. The main road that you park your car on has many shops on both sides of the road. It also feels like your in a Western Movie or a Western TV show. This place also has a small bathroom as well.
Dennis P — Google review
This place is AWESOME! We had so much bowling. Super friendly staff and so were the other bowlers to these first timers. The owner even gave me a pair of new socks since I was wearing sandals. I also have to mention the great drinks from the bar!! Worth a stop!!
Laurel S — Google review
Truly great little spot in the downtown area of Shelburne Falls. The owner/operator could not have been nicer to our rambunctious group of kids. They have awesome retro candle pin bowling, a juke box, and a bar. Don’t miss this gem.
Laura J — Google review
Was just passing through town with my sister and decided to try it. The owner was the nicest person I have ever met. We have never tried that kind of bowling before so he walked us through it and we had a blast.! I highly recommend going!

Nestled in the picturesque town of Buckland, MA, Buckland Pizza House is a beloved dining spot that captures the essence of New England charm. This family-owned gem offers a delightful range of options for guests, whether you prefer to dine in, take away your meal, or enjoy the convenience of delivery. Upon entering Buckland Pizza House, you'll be enveloped by its cozy and welcoming atmosphere—perfect for sharing delicious moments with friends and family.
This small pizza shop is a must visit in Shelburne Falls/Buckland. I’ve been coming here for years when I visit family and Buckland pizza is a bright spot for my visits. The fried mozzarella is a cheese-pull lovers dream! It’s a big block of fried cheese and it is amazing. The Greek pizza is awesome even without the olives. The feta adds a nice flavor to the standard pizza sauce. I make sure to carve out time to go here when I’m in town and you should too.
Pearson S — Google review
Amazing pizza! I made a comment about wishing I could try all the specialty pizzas, they recommend I do half and half pizzas. I ended up getting 2 small pies and got to try 4 different specialties. Mediterranean was my favorite!
Zach — Google review
Topic: Pizza For a Shelburne falls/Buckland establishment… horrible! Dominos is by far much better, which speaks volumes. Veggies were NOT FRESH! We got some pineapple and jalapeños, NO FLAVOR can very much tell it’s cheap and canned. Which is very strange to me, so many of the restaurants use fresh produce and the stores around town provide as such. It looked as if they just threw the pineapple and jalapeños right onto the pizza, and the cheese came off very easily as well! And then breaded chicken. Not sure if there was a choice in grilled or not but was not offered. And the breading for the chicken was super soggy. Tomato sauce no good ether… very disappointing Buckland pizza. Lots of their other foods are great! Burgers expensive but good and best salad you’ll get. Was hoping for more. Won’t be buying pizza here again.

As part of our wedding weekend plans, we arranged a group lunch with a variety of pizzas, salad, and chicken fingers with Paul and his team. Paul was inviting from the moment we first mentioned the idea, provided quick follow up about our plans and had his team prepared with all of the details. When we arrived, the team had reserved tables for our group, had the food ready for us and could not have possibly been more gracious as we tried to keep our guests organized. What a great experience! Not only was the pizza and all of the food absolutely delicious, it was the way they treated us like family that really made it special. This time of year is especially gorgeous around the area and there was considerable traffic coming in and out for lunch, aside of our group. They made sure we were well-cared for the entire visit. They even decorated to acknowledge our special day. We can’t say enough, top notch people and great food. We will be back, many times.
Todd L — Google review
This pizza is fantastic. We got a chicken, bacon, ranch, and another one with eggplant. The pizzas were very hearty. The chefs were great. Staff was very friendly and wished us a good day after we ate. I’ll be going back very soon.
Isaac D — Google review
This was a first visit and it won’t be our last. The pizza was delicious; perfect cooked. We had a simple selection of plain with mushrooms. They have a select of canned beers and plenty of other non-alcoholic options. The restaurant has a good amount of tables and booths as well as outdoor seating.
Ann P — Google review
Grinders were solid, decent price, good service, stopped in with a decent sized group while out on a ride, beautiful location and friendly people.

So lovely! All the volunteers were knowledgeable and so nice to talk to. Riding the pump cars and trolley were a treat, we only wished the rides could be longer!
Colleen D — Google review
Despite being small this museum is quite interesting. A short ride on the restored story gives you a real feel for what it was like. The conductors give an informative presentation with old photos. We enjoyed the visit. The pump car was fun to ride too.
Julie's B — Google review
The Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum is small but quaint. The main office contains the usual train paraphernalia and two working train sets ( Lionel and HO scale ) to play with. The staff was very friendly and informative. In the yard there are a few Boston MBTA trolley in disrepair. The site of them brought me back to the days when I would ride them to school. The totally refurbished and working yellow trolley is a masterpiece of when things were made well and meant to last. I appreciated the iron works and the masterfully constructed wooden interior. The manual train cart give visitors the change to experience of knowing what it takes to get the cart going and stopping. The tickets to ride the trolley are very reasonable and I would recommend anyone visiting the area to make this one of their stops.

Staff was very friendly, food was great & didn't take very long to get and the views were great! We got seated in front of the windows looking out at the Bridge of Flowers.

I live 80 miles away and wanted to see the Bridge Of Flowers.I was pleasantly surprised to see people sitting out on the porch overlooking the bridge.I went in and was seated and waited on immediately. I had the breakfast burger and fries which were both cooked perfectly for me.It was delicious and welcome.

Wonderful!! I want to give food 5 stars just for the seafood stew. It was hands down the best I’ve ever had and I will most definitely be back for more. My mother took my husband and I here as newlyweds. He’s never been. The atmosphere and our waitress were both spectacular. I called early in the day to reserve a table next to the window to which they said they couldn’t promise but would write and note and they honored our request. Which I thought was very kind. Again the soup was an absolute highlight. I’m glad I don’t live closer because I would be eating it all the time. The drinks were yummy, creative and so affordable. In fact the whole menu is very affordable. We had the Athena pasta it was cooked well and there was a nice amount of vegetables but it was very bland and lacked flavor even with Kalamata olives. My husband had the veggie burger, it was very dry with zero sauce and also lacked flavor. However, his side of broccoli slaw was delicious. My mother had something like a shrimp scampi, again bland and also very oily. However the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Overall not super impressed by our entrees but I’d come back a million times for the soup and atmosphere.
Jenna B — Google review
We had reservations for 9.20.25 for 5 pm. They were kind enough to seat us early even though our entire party was not there. That's where the it ends. When placing our drink order, I asked if they had something specific, to which our server said yes, he came back several minutes later and said they didn't have what I asked for, he suggested an alternative to which I agreed to. Again, several minutes later, he returned and said they didn't have that either. Not off to a good start, but ok. When we FINALLY got our drink order, 2 of the people with me had fruit flies in their drinks, I kid you not. After waiting about 15 mins. for our server to return, ( we had not ordered yet ) we let him know, he apologized and took them back. I would say another 15-20 minutes had passed and he came to take our dinner order and we asked about the drinks and he said, they are washing the glasses. WHAT??!! We couldn't have fresh ones? He didn't have an answer. So now we are about to order dinner, they had steak gorgonzola for a special, so we ordered 2, well guess what....10 minutes later he returned and said they only had 1steak left! This can't be real. The hits just keep on coming. So alas we get one and the other person just got a steak salad. Complete let down. We got what was left of our food wrapped up to go and he asked if we wanted desert we said no, just the check. ANOTHER 15-20 minutes went by and he came back and asked if we were all set, well no because we still hadn't received the check. Upon his return we looked at the check and the 2 fruit fly drinks were on there. Now we did re-order them without the flies but I was surprised to see that we were still charged. When asked he said, well you still got your drinks. OK, you are right Skippy we did. I am not one to expect things for free HOWEVER, I have been in the customer service industry for over 30 years and I would have absolutely done everything I could have to make things right especially given we hit a bump at almost every turn. The server was pleasant enough I will give him that. But suffice to say, this was an abysmal experience. It was not my first time here, but it will absolutely be my last.
Johanna P — Google review
Cozy with a charming view of the river and bridges. Service was a bit slow but that didn't make it any less excellent. Started with the spinach artichoke dip which featured a great cheese blend. Chipotle cheddar burger was cooked to perfection and very tasty. A great spot for a lazy summer Sunday dinner!
Greg F — Google review
After visiting the Bridge of Flowers on a gorgeous late summer day, my friend and I decided to try the West End Pub. We had to wait half an hour for a table (though one table we had seen remained open that entire time). But okay. Came back and were seated on the side of the porch, which was fine. Server gave us menus and water. After we ordered it took one hour to get our food. I ordered chicken parmesan and my friend ordered a Mediterranean pasta dinner. Mine was $21 for a plate of linguine (not cooked enough) with pasta water on the bottom of the dish, a layer of sauce, a slice of chicken (not really a 'chicken breast' but obviously from a frozen stack) and some cheese on top. Yuck. For $21 I'd expect a better and more cohesive dish. My friend's dinner looked 'okay' but again the price was $2 less than mine for the same pasta and some olives, spinach, and tomatoes. The next fill up of water was lukewarm. No sides or salads with the entre. Well except for the garlic focaccia which was actually the best part of the meal. To get to the restroom, I walked through the kitchen and down stairs; the bathroom did not smell good. And it's right off the kitchen. The kitchen was full of what looked like very young adults or teens. No 'chef' in view. The lemon cake dessert was good and probably brought in. Overall, very disappointing. I don't eat out often and this meal would have been crummy at half the price. It's a shame because it is situated on a beautiful spot next to the Bridge of Flowers and right on the river. Do better West End Pub.
Patricia D — Google review
The atmosphere it's quiet and cozy Quick friendly service Not a long wait for the meal It's overlooks the river and is right next to the Bridge of Flowers. Reasonable prices I had the Summer Salmon Salad with zucchini. It was so fresh. The zucchini tastes local and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I had a bite of my friends veggie burrito, it was seasoned so well, warm, juicy fresh veggies. Can't wait to go back!

Foxtown Diner, a longstanding establishment in Shelburne Falls, has been serving customers for over 70 years. Nestled near the iconic Bridge of Flowers and the breathtaking Glacial Potholes, this diner offers a dine-in experience with a variety of dining options including breakfast, lunch, brunch, and desserts. It is renowned as one of the top dining spots in Shelburne Falls, MA due to its prime location and delicious menu offerings.
This was a great experience. I was quite impressed with the staff working so hard for a high quality of dining. The food was delicious and came out quick with a full house. Parking is somewhat difficult with street parking and a free lot hiding across the street behind buildings. There isn't anything unique on the menu but it was all good. I am looking forward to going back again soon.

Definately a local spot for meals. Right on the main street. Friendly staff, nice and quiet. Cute decor - every table is named. I had french toast and bacon. I'd go again. Fast service, reasonable prices.

Small town feel, if you get anything for food make sure to get the clubs/sandwiches. They are massive and delicious. You are not sacrificing quality for quantity. The spicy curly fries evoke a nostalgic school days vibe.
S281Emustang — Google review
It took 1.5 hours to get food. Granted it was 9:30am on a Sunday but there was zero transparency that it would take that long to simply get eggs and toast. Food was mid and not seasoned but cute aesthetic of the diner.
Erynne A — Google review
A humble diner with very affordable prices. They had a few good vegetarian options such as grilled cheese, veggie burger, breakfast menu (not served all day). Be aware the place is CASH only. Staff was very friendly and the food was tasty.
Samantha D — Google review
Terrible experience. We asked after waiting for 45 minutes what the status of our breakfast was(simple-omelet and egg sandwich) and was told it would be another 30 minutes. 1 1/4 hours? If they were that backed up they should have told us to start. When the server told the woman at the grill we were canceling, she laughed. Go somewhere else.

A inexpensive place to eat. Your basic diner.

Full to the brim or just a few other dinners and the staff is still friendly and accomodating. Reasonable priced comfort food with just the rights size portions. Just remember this is a cash only place, but with 3 banks, one just nextdoor, you won't have a hard time finding an ATM. I cannot count how many meals I've had here since moving to the area. Every meal has been consistently delicious. My go to for breakfast is an egg sandwich and fried home fries. For lunch I like to mix it up, the burgers are fantastic and the turkey bacon melt I had today was amazing. Update: just back for another visit of I'm not sure how many since my last review. Filled to the brim again but the service was spot on with the food coming out as quickly as the griddle would allow.

This was an awesome dining experience. We were able to visit Saturday morning before Easter. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. We enjoyed the different coffees available. The staff here were very friendly and professional. Parking is not bad but not great with off street parking and public parking lots. I am looking forward to going back again soon!

Staff were very nice and food came out fairly efficiently despite the large breakfast rush. Felt the food could have used a bit more taste but it was a solid breakfast option.

Stopped in today for a quick snack and drink from the counter. The chocolate chip cookie was still warm from the oven and the black poppy lemon scone was delicious! We also had the Aronld Palmer. Great prices and friendly service at the counter. Will stay for a meal when we have more time in the area.

Attention to detail. Great ambience. Fun, waterfront deck by the falls. Really good plating and fabulous flavors. Actually real corn beef hash.

This place is so cute with great breakfasts. Their pancakes are HUGE. Service is somewhat slow though, but the staff is nice. I would come again if I ever were around the area!

From our first step to our last bite everything was amazing! We were greeted by such friendly people. Our server was very friendly and efficient! We had the daily special. Tomato Bisque Soup and grilled ham and cheese! It was so good and so fresh!

Showed up at 1:30 and asked to be seated for lunch, hostess said it would take 20 minutes but when we came back 20 minutes later we were told we could no longer be seated as they were closing in 10 minutes - we then decided to get food to go. Not only did the to go order take a long time (they completely forgot about it) but they seated people that came in to order after us in the dining area. Food was bad - the burger was well done despite asking for medium rare and the tuna sandwich was subpar. What was worse is that their pastries were practically inedible - blueberry muffin was dry and had no flavor and the chocolate chip peanut butter cookie didn’t even taste like peanut butter - literally had to throw them out. How this place is rated 4.4 is mind blowing.

The Blue Rock | Restaurant and Bar is a beloved neighborhood spot in Shelburne Falls, serving up seasonal New American fare and offering craft beer flights. Since its establishment in 2010, the restaurant has been dedicated to creating exceptional meals that bring people together. Emphasizing sustainability, The Blue Rock prioritizes sourcing ingredients from responsible farms and fisheries. With a commitment to both delicious food and environmental consciousness, this restaurant provides a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The staff here were very friendly and professional. The food and drinks were delicious. I suggest getting a reservation prior to going. I didn't have one but we made a gamble for someone not showing up.... and sometimes when you gamble, you win. We were able to get a table for 2. Parking is interesting with some street parking up front but a large lot in the back of the restaurant. I am looking forward to going back again soon!

We made a reservation for a group of 20 and has a whole room reserved for us when we arrived. It was beautiful, spacious, and private. The staff was friendly and accommodating and did a wonderful job handling our large group. The food was amazing!! I got the ribeye and it’s worth it if that’s your thing. The desserts were also really tasty. There’s something for everyone here! We’ll definitely go again, and can’t wait for their outdoor seating because the view from their deck is beautiful!

The Blue Rock is lovely. Perched on a promontory overlooking the river, the dishes we had were well-conceived, perfectly cooked and presented. Cocktails were refreshing and flavorful. We started with maiitake toast, which was gorgeous and in late September a great use of the wild-foraged bounty. We had the duck with cherries and pomegranate, perfectly-cooked, garnished with mashed potatoes and squash cooked two ways. The salmon with soubise sauce was nice (perhaps a tad more pureed onion would make it perfect?). Because the Blue Rock is the only restaurant of its type open on a Monday, the staff was busy, and very friendly. We felt no pressure to turn the table over and it seemed that diners were happy to relax and converse over good food and drinks for the evening. We will definitely return to the Blue Rock. Reservations highly recommended.

Menu was great; lots of creative options and a well thought-out wine list with excellent variety. Our only complaint is that all our food was woefully understated: the ricotta dish, the salmon and the burger would have all greatly benefited from a good sprinkle of finishing salt.
G T — Google review
My husband, two teens and I had dinner there last night. It was a beautiful night and we had only called an hour and a half before for a reservation and got to sit on the porch overlooking the river. I had one of the best cocktails of my life, and our dishes were really good. We ordered the ribs with mashed potatoes, chicken enchiladas, the pork banh mi sandwich and a burger. The burger patty was a little on the small side, but the incredible fries made up for it. The decor and vibe inside looked really amazing. Want to go back and eat inside when it gets chilly out. Highly recommend.

This place is a lovely spot for dinner. The ambiance is beautiful and the food is delicious. My only reason for the lower rating on service is that it took a whole hour for our food to come out and the place was not that busy. We had a reservation and we ordered very quickly after we were seated - we kept seeing other people’s food go out but not ours. The slow service resonated with the last time I ate here a couple of years ago but that particular night, the restaurant was very busy and it made sense.

From Ontario visiting the bike park. This restaurant is the town's best jewel. Food is out of this world, service is beyond excellent and has a great vibe and atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again without a doubt. Big kudos to the chef (the owner) and his wife. Can't wait to eat here again.

This is a lovely restaurant if you’re in the area! We didn’t have a reservation but the wait was only about 10 minutes. The restaurant also had a local florist that night with a Make Your Own Bouquet station that we thought was the cutest, you could even make your bouquet and bring it to your table! we got the ratatouille risotto and lamb lollipops and it was delicious, great service!

The Walmart Supercenter in Putnam is highly regarded for its cleanliness, efficient organization, and friendly staff compared to other stores in different locations. Upon entering the store, customers are greeted warmly and can rely on the helpfulness of the employees whenever assistance is needed. The inventory offers a wide range of items that are consistently well-stocked, while the store itself remains impeccably clean and the shelves meticulously organized throughout both day and night.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Always a great experience at my local Walmart! The store is clean, organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I recently picked up some water balloons for the kids, and they were a huge hit—great quality and a great price. Everything was easy to find, checkout was quick, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. Definitely my go-to spot for affordable, reliable shopping!

Pretty nice store. The prices are so much better than price chopper and they have such a better selection. They have a good amount of do it yourself registers and maned lines.

Love it!!!! My granddaughter is 3 and autistic. She was sick and having a meltdown. The cashier we had was amazing she handled the situation amazingly and it was a breathe of fresh air instead of being looked at crazy she gave encouragement and was just amazing I absolutely applaude her and her actions thank you so much for your kindness!! It meant the world!!

This is my favorite store location. I'm between Oxford and Putnam distance wise and prefer Putnam. I choose this location for Walmart+ delivery too. Their stock is better and anytime there's been any delivery issues they resolve it right away. Even as far as calling and apologizing which they don't have to do!
Erin — Google review
Just shop local if you can. Poor overall service, always seems to need more human cashiers. This store also has shown a significant decline after the recent redesign where no one seems to want to help you find anything and the app shows bad inventory data. We're paying a lot more and getting a lot less for our money. This is not "living better". You can pay less and get more elsewhere in person and online.
Kevin S — Google review
I understand the update of the store. But seriously do really have to make the bathroom stalls smaller? I almost had to pee on the floor because of it being so small.
Sheena S — Google review
They keep reducing the items that you can check out at the self check out why even have a self check out if you keep reducing and reducing items I guess it was 20 now they reduced it of 15 and then on top of that you have a customer service rep that it’s rude disrespectful and think that they can just come into your personal space Into your personal items without even asking permission, it’s formed of harassment just completely get rid of the self check out it’s useless. It’s no good and if you’re gonna have customer service representative like Mercedes. why even have self check out? It’s dumb, stupid and redundant. Get rid of Mercedes why are you even being Customer Service? If you don’t like serving the customers, Mercedes is awful.
Dierdre C — Google review
My delivery was 4 hours late and they refused to answer the phone. This is probably the worst walmart I've ever shopped at lol. Produce is never fresh. Nothing is ever re stocked. Staff are rude. I swore off walmart for years and ordered online from Amazon instead and I'm just going to go back to that. At least Amazon's items are better quality most of the time..

I visited this wonderful wildlife sanctuary yesterday with my wife. We were very pleased with the ups and downs of the trails that were challenging but not too much. We saw many different types of mushrooms. But the best part was the amazing view at the ledges.

day23(11SEP24) sanctuary46: view of mount monadnock from patten road on the way in. there are two parking areas, i went past the cars at the top lot and had the lower lot, closer to trails, to myself. interesting and extensive trail system is well marked and connected to Shelburne's town trail system. million dollar view to the west overlooking Shelburne Falls (bridge of flowers) and up the deerfield river, America's hardest working river. old stone fireplace standing by itself at overlook...dunno the history. this hill-top farm area is shown as 'the patten" on my roadmap.

Fantastic park with one of the better views in Western Mass. The hike is very easy and has nothing more challenging than some small hills. The parking is enough for ten cars or so. The road to the park is private and should be respectfully crossed. The view from the Ledges is unreal and is a great spot for sunsets.
Liam T — Google review
Really nice walk of variable length. Easy to get to, we’ll marked through the main section. Recommend taking the first turn to the right so that you end with the view rather than following the trail and hitting the view first. Smaller circuit (and half circuit via the cutthrough) are wide and well trodden. Longer circuit around the back is beautiful and well marked. Kids played in the free flowing and often foot deep stream coming down the hill along the path. Great rock scramble around the back corner. Couple of caves we did not attempt to explore but which make spooky spots for kids. Excellent small waterfall and smaller rushes all around. Very still air, so expect to sweat. Well marked on AllTrails, if you use that.

A nice variety of interlocking trails, each special in its way. Great view to West and SW from the ledges. There is a side trail to the old stone tower (1909),, that one can climb as well.

Middle Eastern restaurant
If you're in search of a new place to savor exceptional Middle Eastern cuisine without having to go to a busy chain establishment, then Middle Eastern Flavors is the perfect destination for you. This food truck has become a favorite in Shelburne Falls, attracting both locals and tourists alike. The shawarma is particularly delectable, featuring a tangy flavor enhanced by potatoes and an exquisite sauce. All of their dishes, including the stuffed grape leaves, are homemade and distinctively delicious.
Food truck run by people who seem to serve what they eat at home and it’s great. The meats were tender and tasty and the rice was truly special. The rice pudding wasn’t great but baklava was better than what you get in most places shawarma rolls were tasty too They made some mistakes with the order but were more than willing to fix it. Seating on the benches outside was good enough for this and they were full.

Stopped randomly here and it did not disappoint! The falafel was fantastic and the woman at the counter was nice and very helpful. We ate at picnic tables right nearby. Photo of the vegan plate after we had already devoured half of it!

Super tasty food! We got a gluten free plate of Chicken Shawarma, and a freshly squeezed mango juice. Good place for people with celiac or gluten allergy. There are tables and benches outside to seat. It’s also in a good part of the town so you can enjoy the atmosphere when eating outside

This awesome little food truck is run by a very sweet woman providing great service and serving up delicious food. We went for a walk around town and came across this place first. We grabbed a plate to share because we were starving but wanted to try other things around the area. Once we saw what else was available nothing sounded as good as what we had so once we were done exploring we went back and got our own plates. The beef shawarma was the best thing I've had in a long time!

Great food in the heart of downtown Shelburne Falls, picnic tables a'plenty overlooking the river. Nice folks running the show. Professional buzzer-pager system, so no standing around + waiting. Vegetarian + plant-based friendly menu. The truck installation looks very permenant, so I don't think this food truck comes and goes, but rather: stays. Online menu matched the in-person menu.

Shelburne Falls Pub and Brew at the Sweetheart is a new establishment that aims to provide top-notch service despite some staffing challenges. The restaurant offers delicious meals, including whole belly clam dinner and wings, with different weekly specials. The staff is described as hardworking and welcoming, making sure guests have a great experience. The venue provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere with wonderful views. Despite being packed on weekends, the attentive staff manages to accommodate diners efficiently.
This was our first visit for dinner, and it was a great experience. It really checked all the boxes I can think of; the building is new, provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere, has wonderful views, a very friendly and attentive staff, the food is fantastic, and the prices very fair for the quality and quantity you get. We had the seafood casserole at $30, and I can not adequately describe just how delicious it was. It was filled with lobster, shrimp, scallops, and fish, with a buttery crumb topping, and the size of the dish was huge. We couldn't finish it and took the rest home for the next day... so I really consider it a $15 meal X 2 meals. We also saw dinners going to other tables, like fried whole bellied clams, fish and chips, burgers, and more, and they all looked equally fantastic. We will definitely be back to try them as well. Don't hesitate, GO, and try it for yourself. There is plenty of parking available, although if they are really busy, that could change quickly. If you found this review helpful, please tap the thumbs up to let me know. Thanks!

Really pretty little spot. Nice outdoor seating with a view. Nachos were big, but the cheese wasn’t melted. Chicken sandwich was a little bland too. Overall, good experience- Just need to tighten up on the food.

The view of Shelburne Falls and the countryside was amazing from even the parking lot at this restaurant. There is seating outside. We were thankful they were open for lunch on a weekday. A lot of restaurants in this area don’t open until four or 5 PM. We picked this place because the view is incredible. Well, our lunches did not disappoint. I got the barbecued ribs with a choice of several different sides. My husband had an excellent Reuben sandwich. A lot of places don’t put much thought into their side of french fries. It’s just a filler. There’s had the skin on and were well seasoned and crispy. There’s a good size beer menu and some specialty cocktails that were also delicious. This will definitely be one of our stops again when we visit the Berkshires.
Christine K — Google review
We've had delicious meals the few times we've gone here. The whole belly clam dinner was delicious. The wings were also. We were lucky to get a table this past Saturday because we were not aware they had begun taking reservations. We were there to dance and listen to the band that was playing that night starting at 7 pm. We got there at 5:30 and the restaurant was packed already. The host was able to find us a table with a very minimal wait. He was very nice as was our waitress. The upstairs banquet hall is really nice. Lots of dance floor and the bands sound great. Bar upstairs also. This place has a stunning view and beautiful patio to eat outside when the weather gets warmer. It's definitely worth a visit to a beautiful area.
Louise K — Google review
Come for the decent bar food, stay for the view!! Nothing here you can’t get at any old bar and pub, typical wings, fried pickles, burgers, and the food is fine, but pretty forgettable. However, the atmosphere is like nothing else! Amazing view of Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts. Breathtaking outdoor seating both under and atop a massive deck. If you want a quick bite and a beer in the area, go anywhere you like, but for a scenic experience with lunch included, this is the one. Especially in Autumn! 🍂
Daniel B — Google review
I'm torn. This place has a great beer list, cool location and great service. But like other reviews have said, the food gets to the table stone cold!! How??? So many people have complained about this! How are they still bringing out a tepid meatball sub? I ended up taking it to go and will heat it up in my air fryer. The actual meatballs were really good. It's just baffling that they would serve cold food to the only two people in the restaurant.
Anna O — Google review
This place is very nice inside, the food had flavor and was very tasty. They are above normal size plates.

They are brand new business trying to do the best they can! The staff is busting there butts to make sure everyone there gets the best service they can give. There may be a wait due to staff shortage but anywhere you go now a days has that. Food is great! Different specials weekly, everyone is so welcoming and the view is incredible! They made updates to make it look beautiful! Prices are really reasonable as well.

To E HR the last I knew this is not a place for you to say negative things about people. It's to share your experience in the establishment. I never said I wanted the cat dead. I remember the day you were visiting my shop "Trolley Stop".My teeth are now fixed the cat still crosses the road and nothing changed. I think that maybe you need to take a step back.I notice that you have nothing to say nice about any places you go Bob Fisher

To the “gentleman” with few teeth. It takes nothing to be kind and have a heart. Sorry you hate the orange cat who stops by to greet you. The animal has more empathy than you. You saw me have a sliver of joy after seeing the cat walk down the sidewalk, but your first sentence to me as I was about to walk into your store was that you hoped it was the cats last time crossing the street and wished him dead by getting hit by a car. You are a disgusting excuse for a person and I wouldn’t dream of spending one cent in your store. Zero stars. Edited to say: Awesome news that the cat lives and you got teeth! But I never made it into your store so you are mistaken. Perhaps you have offended many. Anyhoo I will spend my money elsewhere. Thank you for reading all my reviews!!!!!!

Nestled in the charming town of Shelburne Falls, Watermark Gallery is a delightful destination for contemporary art enthusiasts. This vibrant space showcases an array of stunning artworks, including pieces from talented local artists and unique fine jewelry. Visitors have consistently praised the owner for her warm demeanor and extensive knowledge about the art she represents. Many have enjoyed engaging conversations with her during their visits, making each experience memorable.
I’m baffled by the previous reviews about the owner being rude. I was there for the grand opening and a couple times since and have had nothing but a pleasant experience. She spoke with great affection for the artists she represented and was quite knowledgeable about art in general. I liked her own work so much I purchased one of her paintings.

The owner opened up before hours because she saw us looking in the window excitedly. She was so incredibly warm and welcoming. The artwork is incredible. The ceramics are amazing. (Cutest shop pup as well.)

I am baffled at this woman (the owner) and her responses to her own rudeness. She gets even ruder! Not at all professional and I hope the artists know how terrible she is to the people that come in to see their work.

Stopped in here on a way home from a trip to the Berkshires. I purchased a beautiful modern piece and am admiring it on my wall!

My wife was there this afternoon and says the art is beautiful. The owner was there and took time to pleasantly engage for quiet awhile. Im excited about this gallery right in shelburne falls.

walked in to check out the art and the lady in the front glared us down and when i looked back asked me what im looking at…so rude and the art was overpriced for what it was

Loved this store! Such a variety of art. I especially loved the Kaleidoscope District!

I went in here with my mom looking for a gift for one of her friends. This was my first visit. I was amazed at the selection of gifts and at how reasonable the prices were. Everything was made locally and was so unique. I purchased a wonderful necklace made by the co-op's bookkeeper and have received many compliments. No matter what sort of person you are looking to buy for, you'll probably find their perfect gift here. I will definitely return.

The Shelburne Arts Co-op is a treasure. It's a true cooperative that's been going for over 20 years. All the artists are local. There's a great mix of paintings, photography, textiles, jewelry, floor cloths and glass work. It's fun to browse and find a special gift.

Our home is like a second Grow Gallery… filled with beautiful glass, wood, and memories of our many visits.

This is a wonderful find in a lovely village in a beautiful corner of northwest Massachusetts. The gallery is airy and light, full of beautiful art without being cluttered. Lesley is gracious, observant, and helpful, facilitating both in-person and mail order purchases. This was a accidental discovery for me, but I recommend you intentionally visit the gallery and the surrounds of Shelburne Falls (don't miss the Bridge of Flowers).

Restaurant
Nestled in Shelburne Falls, Gypsy Apple Bistro is a charming and intimate dining spot renowned for its exquisite French-inspired cuisine and extensive wine list. The restaurant offers a warm and cozy ambiance, with a seasonal patio adding to the inviting atmosphere. Chef and owner Michaelangelo Wescott's dedication to high-quality meals is evident in the scratch-made soups, sauces, and dressings.
I surprised my wife with this place for our anniversary. The place is very small and intimate and the music choice was great. Our server, I think their name was Sabrina, was incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable about the menu including the wine list and beers available. The kitchen is small so the food was a bit of a wait but I feel that added to the experience so my wife and I could reflect on our last 18 years of friendship and 13 years of marriage. Everything we ate was incredible. I am a very unadventurous person when it comes to food but my wife will try anything. She got me to try the Pate and Mousse appetizer and I could not find anything disagreeable with it. The Mushrooms on toast, as simple as it sounds, was a masterclass in how great mushrooms can be when treated well. I had the filet and my wife had the rack of lamb. Both were incredibly generous portions and cooked with perfection. During our meal, we couldn't help but notice how responsive Sabrina (again, I hope that was her name) was to everyone in the dining room and was offering incredibly insightful recommendations to other patrons with detailed descriptions of what the suggestions entailed (yes, I was being nosy). The entire experience was fantastic. The only drawback people should be aware of is that there isn't a cocktail menu, which I could imagine would be over-the-top ridiculously good, but Sabrina could sell you on a wine or other beverage that you will appreciate so it won't matter. The price for bread, two apps, two entrees, a desert, beers and wine, and a coffee had me thinking they left something off the tab, but in reality it is just an incredibly reasonable price for amazing food in a delightful atmosphere. I am very happy with my experience here and am looking forward to taking the drive out to Shelburne Falls to enjoy another.

The place is really interesting. They had real candles and flowers at all the tables. The dining room is intimate and interesting. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Everyone are such hard workers here. The foot was great but they need more help in the kitchen to get the food out faster. It was interesting that when we left there were rose petals at the entrance.

Memorable, a perfect meal in a intimate setting like no other in the area. Even the music was just right, a superb playlist. The bottle of red wine, Tempranillo was ordered and we enjoyed it. The appetizers, one a variety of pâté and the other, the crab cakes, were shared and simply delicious. Our main courses were delicious, one a medium-rare filet mignon and the other Statler chicken were beautifully plated and cooked to perfection. Service was impeccable, as on this slower Saturday night the owner of Gypsy Apple was our waiter. We will never forget this meal for all of the reasons above. It was not a special occasion for us, but the setting, music, food, and service made it very special. Thank you Gypsy Apple Bistro for the 20 years of fine dining near the Bridge of Flowers in the foothills of the Berkshires.

I live 3 1/2 hours away and would gladly make the drive again to eat here. The atmosphere reminds me of Paris. Warm red walls. Fresh roses. Real candles. I really like the attention to detail. The meal began with hot bread and a generous portion of butter and dipping oil. I REALLY wanted to get a second order but had to save room for the rest of the meal. I would come here for just the bread. Then the mussels, crab cakes and seafood chowder came out. The fish bites were soft and melted in my mouth. An excellent start. The crab cakes were pretty good but I wish they were a little bigger. Then I had a taste of the mussels. Wow. I have never devoured mussels that fast in my life! The butter sauce was amazing. Time for the main course. The filet mignon was the best I had in my life. The best cuts are ones that the knife just touches the meat and it falls apart. Medium rare. I also had the porterhouse but out of the two, order the filet. The spinach and mashed potatoes complimented the main course very well. The creme brulee had a nice coating on top and is always the perfect way to end the meal. A mom and her son provided good company to talk to as she offered us some of her gnocchi! Who does that! Plus you get a hand written bill written on a black paper! A personalized touch! I will be coming back again later this year!

Gypsy Apple is a gem in Shelburne Falls. Do yourself a favor and drop in for a wonderful dining experience. Worth the drive from wherever you are in Connecticut River Valley. A friend who lives nearby recommended this intimate bistro, and we're grateful she did. All the dishes we tried were fresh & flavorful. My only regret was not having enough room for dessert. The pot de creme with whipped cream and polenta fennel biscotti looked tempting. Our server, Adora, warned me to not fill up on their homemade focaccia bread. I should have listened to her! Next time.

Gypsy Apple has an area in the back with four outdoor tables. The tables are under an awning providing protection from the elements. It is a nice set up for pandemic time safe dining. Our appetizers muscles and shrimp/scallop were flavorful. The main enters were overcooked (requested medium rare, received medium well). The flavors were good but a bit chewy due to overcooking.

I booked a reservation here on a whim after a long hiking trip and was genuinely impressed with the food. The menu was inventive and inspired, but not in an intimidating way, and the dishes I ordered came out better and with more originality than comparable dishes I have tried. For example, they prepared the beet tartare with a creamy dill sauce and (what I think was) fried shallots. The combination of textures, flavors, and freshness was excellent. I was really struck by how well balanced and nuanced the dish was and immediately noted the quality. Given the caliber of the food, the prices were substantially lower than anticipated. Highly recommend coming here.

It's a very nice atmosphere and they have outdoor dining. However they over cooked our rack of lamb and filet mignon. We ordered them medium rare and they came medium well done
