We really enjoyed the food! We had a salad, big breakfast, cheeseburger, steak, and a red velvet shake — all of them were tasty. The place was a bit small and busy, but the staff was super friendly. Definitely worth the price!

I know it’s a bit of a tourist trap but ya gotta eat so why not get into the Route 66 experience. We went after reading about their famous homemade Root Beer Floats. It was good but their food was even better. I got the Green Chili Cheese Burger which was huge. The meat didn’t taste like ground beef, it tasted like a good cut of meat. My wife had the Turkey Bacon and avocado sandwich on a Croissant. She loved it. The place screams of the 50s so you can get some fun photos. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Oh, and a shout out to Santana our waitress who was friendly, engaging and had the diner running smooth.
We are a couple from Germany and Belgium, going total tourists from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon Village. Luckily we weren't hungry when we left Vegas, so we "had" to stop on the way.
We found this place by chance, and what a find. This is truly amazing: simple people, simple food, retro style and really, really nice lady serving.
Stop, give your money to this kind of local places and forget the crap of Starbucks and multi billion corporations, you will eat better, you'll have a sincere smile in front of you and you will pay much less than what you get for it.

Mr.D'z Diner is a must stop in Kingman, AZ. Its retro atmosphere is reminiscent of the good old days. It was very busy but we were seated immediately. A tour bus arrived just after us but they were seated in the enclosed patio away from the main dining room. The food was great and the menu extensive. The service was fantastic!
Super cute classic Route 66 diner. Plenty of classic diner options, and fantastic ice cream as well. We tried the banana split, milkshakes and root beer floats, and all were outstanding. The decor is fun, with old advertisements and American celebrities. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day for lunch! Check it out if you are in Kingman!
We stopped for lunch at Mr. D’s Diner on Route 66 around 2 p.m., and the place was still buzzing — always a good sign! The service was friendly and quick, even with the crowd. I had a turkey burger in a lettuce wrap, and it was absolutely perfect — juicy, fresh, and flavorful. The fries were crisp and golden, just how I like them. My husband went for breakfast (served all day!) and really enjoyed his eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. Classic diner food done right. Fun atmosphere, great service, and tasty food — definitely worth a stop!
Mr. D’z is exactly what you hope to find along Route 66: colorful, retro, fun, and full of personality. The turquoise décor, jukebox vibe, and classic American diner atmosphere make it a perfect stop for photos and a nostalgic break.
The food is simple diner comfort food — burgers, fries, shakes — well done and satisfying, even if not exceptional. What truly makes the stop worthwhile is the experience: the ambiance, the friendly staff, and the feeling of stepping back into a vintage postcard of the Mother Road.

Locomotive Park in Kingman is a charming spot with a rich history of steam-powered passenger trains and nostalgic exhibits. The park features the historical monument Steam Engine #3759, which was built in 1928 and operated on the Santa Fe Railway Company's passenger route between Los Angeles and Kansas City, making a water stop in Kingman. Adjacent to the Historic Kingman Powerhouse, this small park offers shaded parking spots for visitors.
A nice little park in town with a Santa Fe 3759 on display. It reminds me of the engine we saw in Scranton, PA at Steamtown but I do not believe these are sister engines. Cool piece of history you can actually feel.

Went there thinking to sit at a picnic table and have breakfast. Alas no place to sit. But it does have the locomotive and the caboose. There were some piles of trash. Walked around it once. Some transients
I was truly excited to see the old locomotive at Locomotive Park! It made me reflect deeply on the brilliant minds and hard work of people in the past who made our modern lives so much easier. Wow, thats a massive locomotive. It's wheels are as huge as a standing human. Trains are made much bigger in the past. Other than the locomotive itself, there's also a caboose and an interesting waypoint sign.
Nice place to stop and let children run around. However, the restrooms close at noon. There are two Sonora cacti and others on the corner. That is always nice to show people who have never seen them before.

This is a nice little park across the street from the Kingman Visitor Center. A tiny footbridge provides access to the park to meet and greet a huge railway engine stationed there to awe the visitors. This is no ordinary thing, it's a beast, it is a big boy. ♿ The park is accessible for a wheelchair-bound person.
Find a map of the self guided walking tour with QR codes to enrich the e pierence. This engin is BIG! Stairs let you climb up to the engineers' viewpoint but does not give access to the control room. Same with the caboose. There is a shaded picnic table at one end by the train and and people who look like homeless are keeping cool on the opposite end. There is a community notice board and scooters that are rentable. NO DOGS are allowed at this park.

The Arizona Route 66 Museum, located in the former Kingman Powerhouse museum and visitor center complex, offers a fascinating journey through the history of the iconic highway. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring vintage cars, dioramas, and a movie that narrates the story of Route 66 from its origins as an indigenous trade route to its heyday as a symbol of Main Street America in the 1950s.
Great little museum with lots of cars, pictures, antiques, an informative movie about Route 66 and the boom and bust that happened. It also has a very nice gift shop and well behaved dogs are welcome! I really enjoyed my time there.❤️

The museum was a really nice stop in Kingman, AZ to understand the origin and decline of Route 66. It only cost $10 per person and kids 12 and under are free. The video is lengthy and slightly dated but provides a wealth of information for each AZ town on Route 66. The electric car portion was a nice addition.
This little museum is much more than meets the eye. Its a souvenir shop, an information center for tourism across the region, a historical museum, a science and tech museum - electric vehicles from the turn of the century until now (including several record setters). Tickets for this attraction also get you into the Mojave County museum across the street and a historical building tour - great value. It was amazing looking at first hand accounts of living out here in the Wild West, especially some of the folks that weren't quite ready for everything. You really felt for them! This was a great expereince - highly recommend!
Pretty cool little museum in Kingman. Very inexpensive with some really cool photos and artifacts. There's an electric car room in the museum. It was really fun to see the progression of electric cars and how early in our history that they were being invented. Great way to spend an afternoon!
We visited the museum when charging at the superchargers in the parking lot. Busy because Friday.
It's a small but decent presentation. As far as we could tell, it was free to get in. There's a substantial souvenir store, where we bought our Arizona keepsake.
There are 2 stories, with stairs and an elevator. Tip: the restroom on the second floor is less busy.
Great little stop. There is a couple pictures opportunities outside and around the Museum. The museum itself was a little small for the price but pretty good. The price did include the Mojave Museum but its closed on Mondays.
Really cute gift shop with a museum on the second floor. In the parking lot, you can take pictures with Rte 66 signs and drive your car through one of them. Lots of informational brochures for the entire state.

We stopped at the Powerhouse Visitor Center during our Route 66 road trip, and it was a fantastic pit stop. The center offers a lot of interesting information about the historic Route 66, and we enjoyed learning more about the route’s history. The restroom facilities were clean, and we had a great time browsing the store for Route 66 souvenirs.
If you’re driving through Kingman, it’s definitely worth a stop!

Nice place to learn about Route 66 and Kingman AZ. It’s simple needs some updating in my opinion, there seems to be renovations going on. 10 dollar general admission 6 for seniors. Overall a great visit . The photo pops are great . The electric car portion was a plus I enjoyed it. Very much. Across the way you check out other stuff too the whole block really.
Lovely visitor center that has a museum in upstairs (it is not free). The gift shop is very nice and has Route 66 souvenirs.
There are Tesla Superchargers outside this center, even though Google maps doesn’t show them yet. Great stop.

Neat place, the route 66 museum upstairs is wonderfull. Nice representation of dust bowl history. Also interesting display on a local photographer who helped make the area famous with his images. The price for entry to the museum is worth it because you also get the electric car museum, and the Mohave museum down the road, along with one other. All four 4 dollars.
This is a great museum. I learned a lot from the exhibits. There is an interesting movie that tells the history of the section of route 66 that runs through Arizona.

This Route 66 Museum and Visitor Center is located in Kingmans Historic District. It takes you on a journey of the development and travel on what is referred to as the "Mother Road." A unique experience in the lives and hardships of the everyday pioneers and settlers who traveled this route in the search of a dream and a better life. A wonderful part of history told by stories, photographs and memrobilia...a must see!

There is a lot of Route 66 merchandise at the 2 stores. People very friendly. Did not do the museum so xant comment on that. Has the history of Angel Delgadillo. We'll worth making the stop. Can drive through the route 66 arch we couldn't drive through it because of height restrictions. But I stood under it

Kingman Visitor Center is a wonderful stop on Route 66! The building itself is historic and beautifully maintained, and inside you’ll find lots of useful information about the area, maps, and friendly staff ready to help with travel tips. There’s also a small museum and great Route 66 memorabilia that make the visit even more interesting. A perfect place to learn more about the region and plan the next part of your journey.
Cool area to Strech + charge your Tesla. The visting/gift shop area Alot to see & buy in a historic building. That Route 66 drive through where you drive you're car it's cool. The line can get Long Fast.
Excellent pit stop between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Restrooms and water available. There is a train model on the second floor, and steam engine across the street.

I visited here on a perfect day to be super delighted with the architecture of the building bathing in the morning sun. The electric car museum downstairs was wonderful, and I enjoyed the various exhibits, some of which are not seen elsewhere. The tour guide took us around and explained the details nicely. They have a lot of parking some of which are ♿ reserved for the differently abled with clear signs on them. The entrance is also accessible for a wheelchair bound person.
It's a nice little building. There is a Tesla charging station outside. A gift shop downstairs.
The main store also downstairs, the owner not very welcoming however. I felt like we were just being watched the whole time we were there.
Really cool Route 66 train upstairs. There is also a museum, didn't go in, but it is a $10 charge for those interested.

I had a wonderful dining experience here! The fried rice was fragrant and flavorful without being greasy. For the Thai stir-fried noodles, I requested an adjustment to the sauce when ordering, and it turned out perfectly—just the right balance, not overly sweet. The green curry was packed with a variety of fresh vegetables, which made me so happy to get a good dose of greens during our trip. The crispy fried shrimp spring rolls were also delicious and satisfying.
Oh, and a bonus point: there’s a Tesla charging station right next door, so we left with both full stomachs and fully charged batteries. Very convenient!

This is a neat little place on Route 66. The food was very good, just a little salty for my taste but delicious regardless. At first when you see it you probably think it’s odd because it’s sort of attached to the gas station but the staff was very friendly and the food was very much worth the stop!
I always enjoy a good Thai, but 😲 WOW this authentic. I stopped in here on the way back to my friends house, and I introduced her to Thai cuisine. She really enjoys the vegetable rolls. I wish I lived here as I would eat here often. The place was hopping, and that gave a sure sign of good food. Bangkok Thai Cuisine did not disappoint at all. You get good portions for your money. They also serve the beverage on the adult pallet. Enjoy!
Great find of delicious Thai food in Kingman. We've eaten Thai food around the world and this ranked high. It's literally on the Route 66 and has a lovely diner atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and took time to understand and accommodate to our dietary needs.
Yum!! We got lucky with this gem on our way from Vegas to Phoenix. We live in Bangkok so we usually don’t expect much from Thai restaurants in North America. But this one was definitely a nice surprise. The Massaman curry was delicious and the garden rolls were rich and fresh. That peanut sauce is to die for! If you need to stop in the area, this is where you should eat!
Very disappointed ☹️ server is friendly. Got our food, pad thai, spring rolls, and pinapycurry, but the noodles were tough as were the spring rolls. Too much sause! Presumably because they were trying to cover up the fact that these noodles were old as were the spring rolls. Chili tray had no pickles in it and very old stale chili oil, yuck. Pineapple curry was good but suspiciously just red curry paste with a few pieces of pineapple in it. Very small bowl of rice. Ask them if it is being made fresh before you order! Not worth the $
Cozy little place. Their fried rice was good! Their service is efficient and friendly. The curries (Red & Yellow) lacked flavor. Their Basil chicken had extra large pieces of veggies that should’ve been cut smaller. The chicken was so hard and dry. The thin silver noodles dish had garlic fragrant & tasty! The location is great, next to the Tesla superchargers and Museum.
It’s vegetarian friendly bar, good choice for vegetarian.

East side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the east side side of town. Start the day off with Hualapai Mountain Park Campground, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Lewis Kingman Park. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Hualapai Mountain Park Campground is a rustic camping park located in northwestern Arizona. The park offers rugged hiking trails that overlook the desert and provides cabins for accommodation. Visitors are warned not to feed the wildlife as it can be dangerous and is considered a crime. The park boasts abundant trails, an 18-hole disc golf course, and opportunities for wildlife viewing such as deer, elk, eagles, and woodpeckers.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We appeared to be the only people occupying a cabin, which added to our relaxation. Everyone we interacted with was super kind, from the people on the phone to the staff cleaning restrooms. Our stay happened to fall during a craft fair weekend, too, which was a fun bonus. Delicious food trucks and excellent local crafts.
We booked cabin #7, which was fine, as you can see from the pictures. However, the pictures online when booking the cabin are wrong. They show a different interior. Which is really our only, biggest disappointment. And there is lots of dog poop around. Which is a bummer since there are bags at the trailheads and parking areas. We travel with two bigger dogs, and it's sad to see others being so gross and disrespectful. There are plenty of trash cans around!
Review Update:
We will be so sad to leave! Our stay at the park has been beyond fantastic. We've stayed in three different cabins over two weeks. #11 was very spacious in terms of living area but a very tight bathroom! The shower stall is about 3x3. But the water pressure is fantastic! The kitchen range top is a two burner RV style & you will need a lighter to get things started. On a weekend (when the park fills up), the road outside is rather busy. But its fun to wave at everyone.
Cabin #4 has been our favorite so far. Large living space thanks to the built in bunks. And screens on some of the windows! Which is great for nighttime breezes. Big four burner stove top, again bring a lighter. Bigger shower stall plus a sink/vanity in the bathroom.
Cabin #7 has a four burner stove top, no lighter required. Full size tub & shower, a spacious bathroom in general.
I can't speak highly enough of every single person we've interacted with here at the park. Employees & volunteers, everyone is so incredibly kind. And helpful!

I love coming here to hike or just a place to sit and get away. Love the forestry vibes. Haven’t for too far into the hikes. I love there’s hardly ever anyone at the “dog park” it’s a dirt space with a ton of pine cones but my dog loves to run in it. Recently we camped here and it was fun. Creepy hearing the elk bugle all night long wondering if they were at the camp site. I will be back!
Super awesome campground. You pick your own campsite which we love!! We practically had the whole campground to ourselves. Very clean sites and well maintained bathrooms. We have zero complaints about this campground.

We did not camp, we hiked. Beautiful trail, quiet and serene. We will make it back to do the other trails as well. We hiked potato patch.
This place is amazing! The various trails are at a multitude of difficulty levels. Even my smallest kids loved to climb and hike through. The cabins are cozy and accommodating. The playgrounds are very nice. The picnic areas are plentiful. The disk golf is challenging but fantastic. The whole place is great sun, rain, or snow. The staff are amazing and super friendly.
This place made my kids love the outdoors. We will be back many times.

Grandkids had a BLAST💦🔫Stayed for a few hours. The activation buttons need to be repaired. I have a large umbrella in the car IF there's no shade. I was lucky to grab a bench. IMO, the wood chips on the playground should be replaced with the rubber type. Both of them got splinters in their hands & knees. Glad to find such a fun place, for free, AND not have to drive to BHC & pay for parking

Lots of room to walk or play ball. They have a splash pad and a garden rental where you can rent a space to grow your own garden. Picnic tables and play areas for the kids. Very nice park.
So much fun! Clean, great area, many spots to sit at. We didn't know that you had to push a button to get the water to start so that was fun to watch the kids take turns.

Took my dog to the Dog Park section...Has separated parts for small dogs under 30# & bigger dogs. Some shade & lots of green grass to run & play on. Water grom a Fountain supplies water for your pooch. Meet some regulars..Awesome folks there.
Great park! Pit stop on our drive from California to Flagstaff. Perfect place to stop with a dog, 3 gated dog parks with grass! (Large, small, mixed size areas). Nice shaded areas , grass well maintained. Bathroom had soap, almost perfect! Unfortunately there was wet toilet paper waded up and stuck above the stall doors :/ All in all an above average pit stop and a great community park.
I prefer to give 5 stars and would really love to do that here. Because it's a clean and beautiful park. But, the addicts...sigh...very sad. They're all over Kingman. We just couldn't stay long here because we didn't feel safe. Addicts laying on the ground yelling. Sketchy looking people pulling in behind us. We had to go. But, the employees do an amazing job keeping the park beautiful.
It's a wonderful Park. We seem to meet a lot of people that are traveling and stop by the park for their dogs or just to kick back at the park.
They do have public restrooms. And they're in the process of upgrading the park. You must stop by and check it out if you're in town
Love all the upgrades...Except...the Concrete job under the 66 sign looks like crap..and someone could trip on the rocks they layed down..should have smoothed out the Concrete...looks Very bad...needs to be re-done...otherwise everything else is beautiful 😍

Hot Rod Cafe is a family-owned American diner with a cool hot-rod theme and a pet-friendly patio. The place is filled with memorabilia, creating an incredible atmosphere. Visitors praise the great service and extensive menu featuring American classics. Although they only serve concentrate orange juice for breakfast, the overall experience at Hot Rod Cafe seems to be top-notch.
We found this gem passing through. The atmosphere is "Diner" exactly that. It was friendly, fast and very delicious. We got country fried steak, chicken wings and fried zucchini. The price was fair. The whole experience was great. If we come through here again we will eat here again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Hot Rod Cafe, and I was very impressed. I love to travel and eat at boutique diners that have some sort of unique theme, and the Hot Rod Cafe did not disappoint. The atmosphere is incredible, with classic hot rods on display and plenty of retro memorabilia. The service was also great, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
I ordered the breakfast platter, which was very generous and delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crispy, and the pancakes were fluffy. I would have given the restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10 if it had fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast, but that is my only complaint.
Overall, I highly recommend the Hot Rod Cafe to anyone looking for a great meal and a fun atmosphere. Tell King Zing I sent you!
Attentive server to our needs, git a table right away, food was delicious, alcoholic drinks were different/flavorful, had live music the guy sang awesome, busy place with locals all around, moderate on the price, the food was filling. Had an outside patio good location. Great bloody Mary's.
We had a late lunch and there were still locals eating when we got there. The atmosphere was so unique, everyone was kind and welcoming! My boyfriend ordered French toast and a half order of biscuits and gravy, I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes. Delicious! Would definitely recommend! Both the biscuits and gravy and my meal had a very heavy portion of white pepper gravy, yum!
Update: 2 days later I take my significant other there for lunch. I was over the top telling her how good everything was and ... the burgers were still good but the oil the "in house" onion rings were cooked in made them inedible. This would have been our go to spot but neither us felt good afterwards and we only had a few bites of the onion rings. The following was before our second visit: A gourmet burger and in-house onion rings. The best lunch ever. Have the Blue Mercury burger, amazing. Great to have a hot rod influenced diner with amazing food. It seems impossible to find a consistent restaurant here :-(
Omg... when you come to Kingman I highly recommend this place. 1st, walked up 2 minutes before posted closing @ 2pm and they greeted the 5 of us with a warm welcome and told us to sit anywhere we'd like. After seated, waitress very friendly. The food, I had the Chrysler hot rod (roast beef, corned beef and pastrami) garlic parm fries and ranch so delicious would come for it. Wife had firebird(grilled chicken) which I had the second half. Again would definitely come.
Very, very friendly place. The service was very good; attentive, accommodating, prompt, they even provided water and a couple of cookies for our four legged family member on the patio.
The food was good, better than most diners. I enjoyed the fish and chips, while my husband had a huge breakfast with 4 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, 4 pieces of sausage, toast, and home potatoes. He was happy and stuffed at the conclusion of the meal.
The restaurant and restrooms were clean and easy to access. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Very good family owned restaurant. I had a Charger burger - basically a BBQ burger with an onion ring and BBQ sauce. Huge portion, I had to take half home. The onion rings were unique and delicious, tempura style. They were thick and breaded yet very crispy. They have batter coated fries, which I usually don't like at all, but these still tasted like potato so it was a win. We are definitely going back.

We have been visiting Kingman frequently and have tried this diner several times. It seems to be the only true diner in the city. It looks like it is long overdue for a remodel (especially the bathrooms) but is otherwise clean and the service is friendly.
We stopped for a late night snack one night about an hour before closing and still got great service. The huge menu had me worried, but it seemed unfounded. My wife had the chicken Caesar and I tried the Wellington with fries. Neither were pretty, but both were good.
We have had breakfast there 3 times and we always get the eggs and bacon with hash-browns and toast. It is exactly what we would expect from a proper diner. Crispy bacon and eggs cooked just right. The hash-browns could have been a bit more done for our taste, but were still good. Extra points are given for the thick, wheat toast. Coffee was served in big cups with generous refills. Will definitely return.
Fortunately, I we don’t drink much soda; otherwise the Pepsi products would be off-putting. They also serve alcohol.
A true diner with counter seating. The food is hot and cooked to order. I didn't taste “homemade” but definitely served hot and prepared with care. I tried the biscuits and gravy. I liked the peppery flavor. Not made from scratch but good. The hash browns were not cut on site but cooked perfectly. The pancake was delicious!!! If you are looking for hot and hearty this is a great option.
This is the place you want to eat breakfast. You sit down, close your eyes, and your American journey begins. The friendly, attentive service makes you feel at home. The food is excellent, definitely above average.
PS: The only downside of the place is the ads on the windows.

This little diner does not look like much from the outside, it is adorable inside, the staff are so sweet and the food is top notch!! I ordered a Cobb Salad and they did not disappoint, not shortage of Bleu Cheese either. I ordered a side of fried mushrooms that are hand dipped mushrooms and are the biggest fried mushrooms I have ever seen, you will need a to go box for them.

Guests can enjoy clean eating areas with both outside and inside seating, along with good service and delicious food options like the recommended chicken wrap. Visitors have also praised the resort's Thanksgiving dinner as an amazing experience with great food and service.
Our stay at The Hualapai Lodge and Resort was probably our best travel experience of the year. We were fortunate to get a late July 3-night reservation there in Resort Room 1 due to a cancellation. The room was very nicely decorated and furnished, with a great balance of modern amenities with historic ambience. The location is beyond quiet - it's absolutely still, punctuated by various bird calls and songs. We enjoyed watching elk browse just a few yards from the back deck (exclusive to Resort Room 1) and calmly walking along the road that passes by at the base of the small hill just off the deck. We slept very peacefully in this idyllic setting. We enjoyed several lunches and dinners at the on-site restaurant, and this property served as our base for hiking in the nearby Hualapai Mountain County Park. The staff at the on-site General Store was pleasant, friendly, and helpful.
The only negative of our entire stay was the repeated appearances of some local yokel who evidently never matured beyond 3rd grade. On two of the three nights we were there, he drove up in his lifted white full-size pickup truck, stayed several hours at the bar, and drove back up the hill toward Kingman. It's not just that when he left each time, he apparently had his foot to the floor despite the posted 35MPH speed limit, but he has outfitted his big toy truck with a horn that sounds exactly like a freight train horn - and is just as loud. When the bar closes, he honks the horn multiple times in the parking lot and then, as he barrels up the hill, lays on the horn in a long, continuous blast lasting a good 10-15 seconds. It spoils the evening for guests, frightens the wildlife, and disturbs the local residents. Nobody lives in this kind of wild getaway place hoping to hear that kind of crap, and certainly nobody vacations there hoping to hear that. I know it's beyond the control of the resort, but the fact remains that it was a negative part of our stay there.

A special place in a unique location. It's worth it just for the beautiful drive up there. The food is reasonably priced and excellent quality. Our waitress was great, despite it being labor day weekend and packed. She apologized profusely for it taking what I felt was a reasonable amount of time for a dine-in restaurant. Reasonable pricing, very good food, and a fairly good chance of seeing elk in the yard during your meal. What's not to like! It also offers a wonderful escape from the sweltering summer temps. You can use it in winter to remind yourself why you moved west! Also a lovely staff that adds to meal.

Last time we were here was 7 years ago…place seems a lot bigger now and they have dog pens for people who choose to use them. We have 2 small dogs and decided to use it instead of using their own pen. This also gives the dogs more freedom. Staff are very friendly and helpful people.

This was a great respite for me and my family. We ended up here during a sudden RV issue. We ended up staying 5 nights while working things out. The park is safe, quiet and well kept. this KOA is in the middle of the residential area. Very old park with dirt and more dirt, so much dirt and dusty. It’s like the Wild West. The electricity is old so bring your booster. The office lady was nice and the guy who helped us park was nice. When we called to make the reservation and had to make a change they had a hard time finding a large site for us., but there were so many empty sites. This is only good for short term like one night due to the dirt and more dirt, so much dirt and dust.
Beautiful park, well kept and maintained. Large, level sites and friendly, helpful staff. What more could you ask for? Not one complaint here, except we didn't get time to use the pool!
KOA standard I would say. Clean, tidy with everything you need. People from all over the world stay here. Met people from Germany, Switzerland and Belgium. Laundry had many washers and dryers and the shower was decent and clean.
We have stayed at the Kingman KOA Journey several times driving through. They have always been very nice, helpful and the grounds are clean.
Our last visit was for one night 9/4/25 with heavy rains and flooding throughout the city of Kingman. That morning the whole crew was out clean up the storms mess and had it looking great again in a very short time.
We left around 10 am to head east and blew a hose on the motorhome we looped back to Kingman to the repair shop and dropped it off. We had a tow car so we’re able to picked up tacos and headed back to the KOA to see about a possible cabin for the night and to chill in the shade. They had us lined up either for cabin if we did not get the motorhome back or a pull through if we did and it was too late to travel. We had a happy ended and the motorhome was fix and we were able to drive to our next destination that same day.
The ladies in the front office were absolutely wonderful and caring. The guys were still working on the aftermath of the storm but kept checking in with us to make sure we didn’t need anything.
1,000 thanks are not enough. This is a great KOA and you will enjoy your stay.
Stayed in a deluxe cabin that was adorable! Knotty pine interior with cute use of the space. Location is in what looks like a residential neighborhood but it still feels like a campground. Close to attractions and has lots of activities for everyone.

Very nice park with plenty to do. There were 2 swings that were tied together and were marked as couldn't be used when I was there. The bathrooms were clean. The walking path around there is pretty nice as well and adds to the options of what you can do while enjoying the park.

Had a great experience at Walleck Park for our church's Resurrection Sunday celebration. Great areas for play, BBQing and food service. Great space in Kingman for such a gathering.
Our favorite park! But needs better enforcement of transient activity. You can't go early or late without seeing people camped out illegally (and sometimes in a state of undress) which makes it unsafe for the kids unless you go mid-day.
Neighborhood park with playground equipment for young children, modern restrooms, adjacent to Mohave wash walking/biking trail, outdoor basketball court and picnic shelters. Many bushes and some trees encourage local birds including quail. Dog park just across Willow to the east at north end from the park.
Even when this park is busy there has always been at least 1 shady spot that's free to relax in. With that said the park is usually pretty empty and has garbage cans, drinking water and a bathroom. This park has everything I would need in a park. Congrats to whoever made this park exist
PERFECT spot to break up a long drive. Park is great, lots of grass, a paved track around the park, and a bathroom. Have stopped at other “parks” closer to the freeway which are always full of people whose primary purpose there is to let their dogs out, and no playgrounds. This park is 100% worth the 5 extra minutes for the kiddos sake.

Been going to Harbor Freight for a while now. This location seems very well stocked and the store feels larger than most of the Harbor Freights i've been to. Their cheaper tools work just fine if you don't really use the tool frequently. Most of their hand tools have a lifetime warranty, so if you encounter a problem with their tools simply bring it back and they will give you a new one, no questions asked. I know this because the gears on my 1/4 inch ratchet started to seize up. 🔧🛠
I bought a shallow well pump with the extended 2yr warranty. With in 60 days the pump quit working. I went to the kingman store to get it replaced. The cashier had such an attitude. With his arms crossed he told me I had to mail it back to the company. I explained to him I bought the extended warranty. He said the store did not except returns of pumps. The store manager was there and told me they had no idea what l may have pumped and it could be hazardous to the employee. The were so rude and not helpful at all. I return home and called the Havasu store an the manager Nadle was so helpful, she called in the return department and help me get a refund. So now if I need something from in driving the extra 30 miles to Havasu store to get my items. The Kingman store employees totally suck. I hope the store gets a total replacement of their employees.
Called them from Bullhead asking if they had a tool box in stock. They told me they did. Told them I'd be coming from bullhead. They told me to come down. When i got there they told me they didnt have anyone working who could use forklift to take it down.. mind you I already drove to bullhead from Havasu cause there website said they had it in stock (which they did not) so I called this Kingman time around to not waste a trip like i did to bullhead.. Which I indeed still made a useless round trip. Had to order it from Havasu now waiting till next month to get it 🤦🤦

I went in there today and I walked the whole store looking for what I needed passing several employees and them looking right at me knowing I was looking for something. I was ignored repeatedly. Then I went all the way to the front and some man who was employee was standing there playing on a phone is what it looked like. I said excuse me and proceeded to ask where the item I was looking for was. He just barely acknowledged me never looked at me just pointed in a direction told me the aisle number couldn't help me even though he could tell I was having trouble walking because of a recent knee surgery. So I got what I needed and went to check out and then I was informed the price was higher because I don't have the inside track club. Wow, harbor freight has gone down the toilet and I can see why the store was almost empty. The cashier was the rudest person I've ever met. I don't care if I ever walk in the store again. The way they treated me they'll never get another dime of my money, there's way too many much better options especially online.
Harbor Freight is a well stocked and inexpensive place for tools this location in Kingman is very good.

The Kingman Dog Park is a fantastic facility located conveniently near the 40 highway, making it ideal for travelers crossing the country with their furry companions. While there may have been a lack of other dogs during our visit, this park still proves to be an excellent spot for dogs of all sizes. Additionally, it boasts separate areas dedicated specifically to small and large breeds.
Yes, 3 yards. One big one for big dogs and two smaller ones. This is just what we needed for a trip across route 66. My little Chihuahua mutt is a happy camper after being in the car all day yesterday and what will be a long day today. It could be fancier and have more beautiful grass but look there's water. It's fenced. There's plenty of space and theres big tree shade.

Nice dog park. Beautiful area with great spots for pictures and great clean area for doggers to run around and enjoy themselves. They do close on Thursdays for maintenance from 11am to 1pm. I believe. They have a note on the gate so if you want to take them on Thursday check it out ahead of time so you aren’t disappointed.
This is a decent dog park. It has 3 sections, small dog area, large dog area, and maybe a not so socialized area/puppies etc. The 2 main areas provide water and dog baggies for cleaning up after your pet. I believe the 3rd area has as bags and trash can, as well. All areas seemed to have a decent amount of shade also. I did see a lot of poop that was not cleaned up-(larger area) so watch where you walk and watch out for hidden holes in the grass as well. There are benches in all 3 areas and the larger area as a shade pavilion as well has a tunnel.
The dog park does close on Thursday from 12-1:30pm for Maintenace.

I drive by this course on my way from Phoenix to Las Vegas all the time, telling myself to one day stop in and play a round. So I did. Super friendly staff all departments. Apparently, now city owned. At its price unit, superb condition. Being my first time there and late in the day wish I had gone out with some locals because there were some sections of navigating around the course that got a little confusing, but got through with help of regulars on-site. Must play course for all, some super fun unique holes, beautiful scenery, and interesting cliffs throughout the course. The last three holes were very fun, heading further into the back of the mountain cliffs. Uphill blind par three on the front most unique hole on course, I would call it the signature hole with a small jut of cliffs on either side, reminded me of the Garden of the Gods in Colorado. Very satisfied with play, quality, staff, and scenery. Heavy tall rough grass, so be prepared. I was able to get 18 holes in starting around 4 pm in just a little over 3 hours. Must play in Kingman, Arizona!!!!

My husband and I went disc golfing here today. We had been here once last year in June also. great experiences.
I had a little problem when loading the golf cart that was not the courses' fault, but the staff (Michelle especially and coworker) checked on me and made sure things were okay, and went above and beyond for us.
Would recommend this course to anyone.
Being able to drive the golf carts around is great and it isn't hard to watch out for the golfers.

A beautiful and peaceful golf course with stunning views. The presence of deer around the area makes it even more special and memorable. I really wish they would dedicate certain days for the general public to enjoy the scenery, not just for golf players. It’s a hidden gem in Kingman
A shortish drive from Laughlin, greens were in great shape, reasonably priced, desert views from "Cars", friendly and informative staff all made for a will return.
I love the course! Just be prepared to spend all day golfing as you’re constantly stuck behind the slow 5 man.
Wish they’d formalize tee times and force the slow groups to let people play through.
Driving range token machine has been broken for a long while. Clubhouse staff for some reason still sell tokens for a non-functional machine... Staff slow to recollect range balls, better off driving to Laughlin Ranch to use a driving range.
The contrast of the greens against the high desert scenery makes for a beautiful course. Hole 6's top of the world shot is reason enough to play here! If you do not grt a chance to play here often, make sure you bring an extra or two. One of those shots you need to experience more then once.

The hash browns have to be the worst in the state of AZ. I’ve never had anything that tasted so bad. The back was no better. The sausage tasted like old meat. Really gross. I see some false advertising here.
Compare the picture of Prime Rib Cobb Salad on their menu page with what they gave me. No bacon whatsoever. I have no idea why they put cucumber in it if it wasn’t listed in the description. Meat prices are much less than shown on the menu.
Also, in the morning they served my breakfast which contained hash brown (that was described in the menu as “crispy”) with couple of lightly brown potatoes on the top and completely raw potato under it. Showed to waitress and asked to fix it. She apologized and returned it to the kitchen to fix.
Our server was Suzie and she was wonderful! So welcoming and energetic, with lots of good suggestions on how to make our meal exactly what we wanted. She suggested some creative shake options and I ended up with a strawberry banana shake that was certainly the highlight of my visit. Next time I’ll try the mango!
The Denny’s is located inside the Flying J gas station. It is small & clean. The waitresses are pleasant & cheerful. Their service was superb. The food was filling, plentiful & very hood. The chicken was freshly grilled as were the veggies in the salads. The soup was rich & flavorful.

Had found out about this place online and decided to stop on our long journey for some tacos. We were so glad we did, even with it being a short detour we absolutely loved it. We were there on a Friday and they had Carnitas, which is only served on Fridays, with al pastor and the beef option. Tacos were $1.50 each and DELICIOUS! Great friendly service, amazingly priced and tasty food, a must stop.

I discovered Thai 66 and was delighted with my experience there. The restaurant was bustling with customers, and a single older gentleman diligently attended to serving and clearing tables. It would have been beneficial if he had some assistance, but his service was excellent nonetheless. I savored their delectable dishes like the fried rice, spicy fried rice, and red curry served with a side of white rice.
Stopped in to visit family and they brought me to their favorite restaurant. I completely understand why they love it! Best Thai food I've had in a very long time.
You will need to ask for spicier if that's what you like, because I think they make everything at a spice level 1 by default. Level 3 is the perfect amount for me!
Highly recommend the tom kha Kai (basically coconut soup), the spring rolls, and vermicelli noodles.

I wanted to love this place, but it was a complete rip off. For thirty bucks my spicy fried rice was in an unusually small container, and my ten dollar soup featured frozen broccoli and frozen carrots. I'm not understanding all the great reviews for this place, the food had some good flavor, but nothing compared to the great Thai restaurants I've eaten at before. I ordered it spicy and it was not spicy at all. That's a major sad face for me, because Thai food is supposed to be spicy even when you don't ask for it that way. Anyways, I guess if you just want some Asian food and have no expectations, maybe. But if you know good Thai, that is not what you'll find here.
We came here looking to get a feel for the place and sample the fare, and found our new Thai place!!! The food was authentic, and the staff were very kind. As a party of 4, we ordered Gai Sa tay, Fresh Spring rolls, Green Curry, Tom Ka Koong, and Pad Thai Noodle. The kiddos loved it! Also thought the roses were a nice touch. Well Done👏

Thai 66 is fantastic! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside this intimate restaurant is serving up awesome dishes. My bestie ordered the pineapple fried rice which looked as good as it tasted (yes, I snuck a couple bites). It is a bit curry forward, but the sweetness of the pineapple and dried cranberries balanced it out perfectly. Glass noodles are among my top three favorite Thai dishes and Thai 66's Pad Woon Sen was so good. The noodles and fresh veggies were cooked to just the right tenderness. Thai 66 is absolutely worth a visit.
Very happy we found this place. We went for dinner and it was very crowded and there was only one older gentleman serving and clearing the tables. It would have been nice if he had some help as he was trying very hard to cater to everyone. But his service was great!
We had the fried rice, Spicy Fried rice and the Red curry which came with a bowl of white rice on the side. To drink, I had the Thai Iced Tea. It was too sweet for me as I prefer less sweetness, but it was still good and refreshing. The food tasted great and the Fried rice came out fast. It might not seem great from the outside, but try this if you are in the area!
Pretty authentic Thai cuisine. We really enjoyed the food there. The place might not look fancy, but their food is really good for the price. And the waitress was extremely nice and helpful. If we lived in the neighborhood, we sure would visit there often.

We went to the Pizza Hut on a Sunday on 66 in Kingman and the girl at door wanted to know what we wanted right as we walked in. We had to ask if we could sit, ask for a menu. She said well everyone usually gets the buffet. She gave us drinks and took order. Never checked on us. Brought the pizza didn’t give us plates. The New Yorker crust was weird. A big party came in she spent all kinds of time with them. The party was right near our table. Waited forever for check. And to make matters worse when she gave us check she stood there while we filled out tip and watched. Instead of taking our dishes away. The restraint was filled with flies. I don’t think we will be returning.

Metcalfe Park is a charming downtown park in Kingman, offering plenty of shade and amenities for visitors to enjoy. The park features a playground, picnic tables, barbecue grills, and a covered stage for outdoor events. Throughout the year, it hosts various festivals and concerts such as the Mother's Day Art Festival and Sounds of Kingman Concerts in the Park. The park's tiered levels provide scenic views and modern play equipment including spinners and a handicap swing.
This park rises up Hill and a series of tiered levels. It has modern play equipment, including spinners and a handicap swing. Handicap access parking is located on Grand View. The other side is just deep stairs, period they fly the American Flag, and there is a memorial that is a must stop to see. They have the person's name. Spelled out in white stones, so look above the plaque. To see the career creative monument that has been built. It has a stage for public gatherings, and it has negative access to the high school in the back, so the high school students can make use of the rock climbing walls. In the very back of the park, there's also a secluded coroner that is dedicated to being a center of peace, and it is very restful. lots of Lily's lots of trees. I saw gophers and squirrels, lots of birds. I saw at least 3 different varieties of birds for my shorts. Stop. They have a water fountain that works, but it's very hot. It takes a long time for the water to get cold. And they have one grill and one covered picnic pavilion.

Kingman Rotary club held the Art in the Park event here over mothers day weekend. This is a beautiful little park that was perfect for a fun family event like this. I was happy to be a part of it and be able to spread some joy by serving up some delicious snow cones.

Free, open public bathrooms. Plus the kids enjoyed the rock wall. It's across the street from the big steam engine, which the kids loved exploring too. A great free pit stop on trip between Vegas and Phoenix. Wonderful place for a picnic too.
Nice little area with plenty to do. There's a stage for performances and a playground for kids. Easily accessible and very well maintained.
A great park to relax if your driving on the highway. Plus great Mexican food across the street!

Nestled in the charming town of Kingman, Arizona, Black Bridge Brewery has been a beloved destination for craft beer lovers since its inception in 2013. Founded by brewmaster Tim Schritter, who crafted the brewery's impressive 45-gallon brewing system with his own hands, this establishment pays homage to a historic railroad bridge that has served as a youth hangout since the '60s.
Solid selection of styles and all done well. It's a no frills joint with community watering hole as the major vibe.
I caught them after the rush on a Saturday while passing through the area and I was not disappointed.
Unlike so many breweries these days, they don't hang their hat on the IPA style. They had over a dozen different styles on when i stopped in!

Stumbled upon this brewery on our way to the west rim of Grand Canyon. Every beer was delicious and exactly as described. Owner and brewer was very outgoing personable and fun to talk to. Food from Sirens Cafe next door was awesome and unique. A step above a regular deli! Wish we lived closer so we could go again and bring all of our friends!!

We stopped here by chance during a road trip. We were looking for a cold beer but we found even more than a brewery! We felt immediately welcomed by a friendly staff, who gifted us a great and special evening. We felt like at home, even if we were strangers coming from far away! Decent brewery in Kingsman, AZ. In the middle of a cute little Main Street downtown and loved that there were multiple brewery options to choose from. Unfortunately we really didn’t enjoy the beer. Ordered the Rival IPA and the Hazy IPA - wouldn’t crave either at any point. Inside seating is small but comfy and there’s a foosball table in the back. Also a patio out back if you wanna be outside, but it was brutally hot when we visited. Loved that we could bring our dog inside with us.
We stopped by while traveling Route 66. All three dark beers that we sampled were amazing! If I lived in the area this would be where I'd want to hang out. The bar tender suggested we start with the darks and we were skeptical but did so and understood why after we tried the rest. If you like quality beer and are in the area be sure to check it out. There is a great variety of beer to choose from.

I loved the history of the Bonelli family and their home. The original wooden home burned and was rebuilt using 20" thick lava rock called Tuff. I'm sure this is why it is still standing today. There's much more I could share but I think a visit would make it more memorable.
This was a fun little tour of the Bonelli House, and my tour guide was thorough and informative. The entrance fee was minimal. The house holds many of the original furnishings and was so very charming. At the end of the tour I was given a voucher for free entrance to the following:

One of the interesting attractions in Kingman is the historical Bonelli House ($2 suggested donation) which was built in 1915, representing an example of Anglo Territorial Architecture. Opening Hours 11am to 3pm (Monday-Friday).
This century old homestead was built out of local tufa stone by George Bonelli and was used by the Bonelli family until 1973 when it was purchased by the city of Kingman.
The exterior of the house is very interesting to see if you enjoy architecture. You can also tour the inside of the Bonelli House, being led by a local volunteer who will take you through various rooms of the house, explaining the period furniture available to be seen.
Overall, this is a neat building to see both on the inside and out and is worth 30-45 minutes of your time if sightseeing in the Kingman area.
Nice home to tour..very well maintained..Mr.Bonelli was certainly ahead of his time..he had invented a way to get his wife hot water in her kitchen and had many conveniences most people knew nothing about for years after..Interesting to know that when the family sold the home to the town it was with the understanding it would always be preserved and several of the great great grandchildren continue return to tour the house

I arrived at the Bonelli house and was a couple minutes behind another couple. But when I got to the door there was a sign that stated tour in progress, wait on bench. I was only about 90 seconds behind the other couple, but I sat and waited on the bench. Its 53° and windy after about 15 minutes I was cold and went back to my car. I waited. When a couple people left the house, i asked them if the tour was over and they confirmed it was. The sign hadn't changed, but they had just left. I walked up to the house and opened the door where a rude man blocked my entrance and insisted I couldn't come in. I said I just talked to the couple they said the tour was over and he stated he was just finishing up and I had to leave. Honestly, I get trying to do these things with limited manpower, but I have a very low tolerance for rude people. And that man was very rude. I just left without waiting around. There are 2 other museums in town that employ polite knowledgeable people and I would recommend heading in that direction.

The Mohave Museum of History and Arts is a nonprofit institution dedicated to preserving the rich history and culture of Northwestern Arizona. Founded in 1961, it features exhibits on the indigenous tribes of the region, including the Chemehuevi, Havasupai, Hualapai, Mohave, and Paiute. The museum showcases a wide range of artifacts and displays that detail the area's history from prehistoric times to the present day.
$10 per adult (free kids) to go into this Museum, along with the Route 66 Museum and the Bonelli House. My 5-year-old daughter and I enjoyed it! There's exhibits about Native Americans, gems, mining, desert animals, etc. Pretty much anything in history that happened in that area. My daughters' favorite part was the hands-on table, where you could use different types of antique phones!
Definitely a worthwhile visit, especially because your ticket gets you into other places as well. The ladies at the front desk were super nice and explained that I could keep the receipt and even use it another day, or give it to someone else to use. Later my husband arrived, and they just let him in for free! We made sure to buy something at the gift shop to support them. They had little bags for $6.50 that you could fill with gems of your choice.

A single pass got our whole family in and the pass also allows entrance to the bonelli house and the route 66 museum. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We walked through the hall of presidents and first ladies. My favorite area was the local history of the native Americans and the areas mining and ranching. They have a very nice mineral exhibit and many other items of the area's history. My family also enjoyed being able to play a real working organ. The gift shop is well stocked and items are decently priced. They also have an exploration area when children and adults can examine items more closely. It was a very nice museum and my family truly enjoyed it.
This place is definitely worth checking out if you’re in Kingman. It’s full of interesting history—from Route 66 to the stories of the indigenous people who lived in the area. There’s a lot to see, and it’s all really well put together.
What makes it even better is the price. For just $20, you get access to all three museums—the Mohave Museum, the Historic Route 66 Museum, and the Bonelli House. That’s a great deal, and honestly, you won’t find a better bang for your buck. If you're in town, make sure to stop by. You won’t regret it.
We visited the Mohave Museum of History and Arts during an over night while passing through, May, 2023. We didn't expect the museum to be a nice as it turned out to be. We liked the Arizona Route 66 Museum across the street at the power house. We expected that to be the best one of the three connected museums. As it turned out, we liked the Mohave better.
This museum had a really nice collection. Starting with the Presidents and First Ladies of the United States Of America. Then it just went in different directions as the museum went on. I really liked it. It even had a small movie theater. There is also a library on site. As well as the expected, gift shop you will exit through. All in all a really nice museum.
This museum is also very close to the other museums and parks. There is a deal where if you pay admission for one museum, you get admission to all three museums at no extra cost. We went to one museum the afternoon before when arriving in town. Then went to the Mohave the next morning with no extra charge. We didn't go to the third museum as we wanted to get back on the road.
The ticket prices as of May, 2023 were $10 for adults. But $6 for adults over 60 years old. As I said, if you pay admission to one Museum. You get admission to two additional museums for no additional coast. Just do not lose the ticket they give you. It also works good as a book mark.
So if you're in the Kingman area. Here's a fairly inexpensive way to spend some time with up to three museums. As such, it should be obvious that I recommend them.
Great museum to stop by on your way to/from Vegas to Grand canyon national Park. Very quiet and for $10 per head you can cover three attractions. Children's 12 and below are free. Plenty of historic artifacts collectibles to view. Friendly staff and peaceful setting.
Stopped in after going to the nearby Route 66 Museum and found this to be an interesting follow-up. Admission here is basically a package deal with a small fee of just ten dollars giving you entrance to this museum as well as the Route 66 facility and the historic Bonelli House. The Mohave Museum focuses on the history and environment of Mohave County with a set of dioramas depicting the earliest Native American inhabitants, to the arrival of settlers from the East, and on to the modern age. Another section discusses the history of mining and ranching in the area - key parts of Kingman's history. Also significant to Kingman was the former army air field founded during World War 2 and that's covered by various artifacts including a preserved piece of B-17 bomber nose art. A taxidermied display of animals covers the local fauna while a variety of smaller displays are about all sorts of esoterica such as presidential portraits, Native American crafts, doll houses made by locals, Asian American representation in Mohave County, and so on. A small gift shop has a selection of local souvenirs and handicrafts. Overall it's a fairly eclectic collection that should prove interesting to anyone who's interested in some local color and history.
Right off the I-40, the museum features Western history, Indigenous people history, and a bit of Hollywood movia memorabilia, and a presidential portrait gallery. Nice gift shop. Only $6 for seniors. Stop in.

Sunrise RV Park is a well-maintained and nicely kept little park that offers clean restroom and shower facilities. The pull-through sites are gravelled, making it easy for larger vehicles to maneuver in and out. The staff, particularly Tim, is efficient, polite, and extremely helpful. Despite its proximity to the highway, noise is minimal. While the public road leading to the park may not be great, the park itself offers wide concrete roads and nice pull-thru spaces for late arrivals.
Nice small park easy off I-40 nice private showers friendly staff. Stayed here 2 days in june after a 6000 mile trip heading home to Arkansas. Jeep broke a shift cable blocking another space and they said no problem.
Jeep dealership right down the road part in stock and i fixed it. Will stay again.

For ruins, I mean the pull in spaces for the RV’s. They had both 1530 and 50 amp power.
We didn’t get any pictures because we came at night and left in the early morning, but it was very easy late check-in. They just taped the information to the door and we popped it in the envelope in the mail slot.
Can’t comment on the showers Wi-Fi or anything else we just parked plugged in and went to sleep.
It’s immediately off the freeway so when you’re coming eastbound, it’s basically a tight U-turn and the entrance is a little bumpy, but just stay to the right side as you’re driving in and it’s pretty smooth
Tim in the office was professional, kind and helpful. We had a pull throu that was easy access to utilities. We had a serious issue with our electrical that controls the slides that needed to be reset. Tim provided some business cards that some mobile RV repair businesses left on the counter in the office. We chose Wyatt's Mobile Repair that responded within minutes. Colin was friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable in price. He identified the problem by thoroughly inspecting and we were all fixed. The park was shady, clean and had clean bathrooms and showers. The only thing I would have them improve is the dog run. It was in the sun and too hot for my dog to walk on.

Not pet friendly as there is No place for our 4 legged kids to do their business. It was quiet, except for rd noise which a fan will drown out. People were friendly. Park is fenced in but not gated. Conveniently located to town. Downtown kingman is cute but small. Rt 66! The park sites are a tight Squeeze for RV's . Almost didn't fit the pull thru.

They had a pull thru site for overnighters, which is where I was. Quite a bit of road noise, but it didn't bother my sleep. It was easy in/out with plenty of room for unhooking and hooking up my car on the site. Easy on and off I40.
They have a strict 20 yr limit on RV's and would not accept our Newmar Dutchstar 2003 offhand. Even though it is very nice coach

We bought five 5’ fruit trees last October, planted them in November and today I have peaches, plums, apricots and nectarines. My apple is leafing. Thank you to Daniel at Star Nursery. He was very specific about the kind of fruit on each tree so that they would do good in my specific area. I may have paid a bit more but to have actual fruit in 5 months is amazing. If you listen, Daniel won’t steer you wrong. He knows what works. I would recommend Daniel and Star to anyone.
I ordered 17 yards of rock to be delivered in my back yard and unfortunately, the driver scraped my brick wall and ripped my back gate off after dumping the 2nd load of rock. The damage also includes movement of the back wall. He was very apologetic, took photos and sent to his corporate office. I won’t bore you with the details or time wasted trying to get a response from corporate but when I did get a response, it was from their , legal counsel who informed me that they would NOT be paying for the damage. Their counsel gleefully pointed out to me a statement buried in a paragraph at the bottom of my receipt, holding themself harmless from any personal injury or property damage during the delivery of product. I am attaching a copy of my receipt where under my signature in all capital letters, it states that any damage and/or shortages must be reported within 24 hours. Below that Read number two, where they hold themselves harmless for any personal injury or property damage resulting from the delivery. Their counsel told me that that is why I have homeowners insurance. The damage incurred was caused by the driver, but I am expected to pay for it. I will never use or recommend Star Nursery to anyone. I asked to speak to the owner of the company and the claims administrator laughed at me and stated “That’s not gonna happen.” I have emailed the owner of the company twice with no response. I caution anyone who is having product delivered to carefully read your receipt and be prepared to be responsible for any and all damaged caused by the Star Nursery employee during delivery.

You’ve done it again! Gone above and beyond for me to have a sweet little tea party with my family. Carmella really does do CUSTOM CATERING! Tell her what you are doing and your event (mine was a small tea party for my grandmas 85th birthday) and just let her do her thing. This is the second catering order they have done for me and both times have made my order great and so special even down to lending me their platters.

I had the La Rocco sandwich, my wife had the Mandarin Orange Almond salad and a side of lemon pasta. My mother in law had a tuna sandwich. Enormous portions of food and everything was fresh. I liked the roasted red peppers in my sandwich and will do that are our home. Give it a try, definitely worth it.

It’s safe to say I have found my favorite lunch spot whenever I find myself in Kingman. You can taste the quality and care that is put into every dish, side, and soda. I just so happened to see their toffee cheesecake and just had to try it. Super friendly crew and a cool atmosphere that is welcoming and always playing great music.
My wife and I stopped in Kingman for lunch and wanted something local or a bit different than your normal fare.
Sirens Cafe has a quaint atmosphere and friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal and even had a chance to sing along to the Crash Test Dummies album they had on.
We'll be sure to remember to stop by there again next time we are headed to or back from Vegas!

We started with zucchini sticks. Simple, fried, and yummy - with that strangely better restaurant ranch.
My daughter had chicken strips - which like an egg is simple thing that’s surprisingly hard to do well consistently. This one was good.
I had the calico melt. It’s a tasty creation that just screams hometown cafe. The parm sourdough was unique - and different than typical diner preparation, it was slathered in butter/oil before grilling. It was nice and light.
It’s a nice, open space, with a separate bar on the side. Despite being quite busy. it didn’t feel noisy or crowded. Parking slightly sparse, but nothing too difficult.
We stopped coming back to the Valley from Vegas. Location works well (as you can pass the backup at I-40 flying down the right side and then take an easy cruise down Route 66 to rejoin I-40 around the bend.

From the young lady, Maddie who took good care of me, to the super cleanliness of this place. To the gorgeous giant photos all around the room. This place had me ready to write a great review before I even tasted the Reuben, which did not disappoint. It was classic and delicious and yes to the extra .99 cents for sweet potato fries! The wait staff seemed to know everyone that walked through the door. Now this place is big, you won't feel crowded that's for sure. They have some extra rooms and a separate bar area. If you want a nice meal where the people working obviously want to give you a good experience and take pride in the place, this is it. Plus, you can get all your route 66 swag here!! I did try to avoid people in my photos, so it wasn't as empty as my photos may make it look... We will definitely be back for another great Reuben and possibly eventually try something else.

Absolutely Loved the Salad Bar with Fresh Vegetables and Greens all the Fixings. Lots of Dressings. Soup and Dessert too. Order a Side of their Delicious Sour Dough Bread. The Atmosphere was Fun. Friendly very Busy Staff. 👍
They make great sandwiches and when they have a buffet breakfast it was very good too. My sister mentioned the bathroom the baby changing area is too high to change her baby. Hope that can be fixed. They have a gift shop in front when you first enter. Bought a nice keychain with route 66 on it, stickers , and postcards. They have some toys baby books and some clothing to buy there. Nice friendly atmosphere.

Lovely Cafe, great ambiance, beautiful pictures of desert scenery. The food is delicious and reasonable serving sizes. Plenty of beers on tap, Space Dust was a bonus! Haven't tried the salad bar yet but it's on the list for next time. Has a great gift shop near entrance for any souvenirs. Lots of parking and right of the road for easy access and visibility.

Also the atmosphere is very nice. The exterior as well is pretty cool. They let you share here, and if you order the Spaghetti Bolognese you will probably leave in a doggy bag. Sorry, I meant leave WITH a doggy bag.:-) Luckily for us they were open on the fourth of July.

Great little gem I stopped into right off of historic Route 66. This place is clean and family friendly. I started with the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. They were very tasty. Lindsay was our server and she was super sweet, very attentive, and just delightful. I’d go back just for her service alone. The salads were ordinary, the lasagna was a tad on the sweet side, and the creme brûlée needed to set longer, but overall a great experience. The appetizer was certainly my favorite part of the meal. The portions are huge. I ate way more than I planned to!
Awesome food! Easy on & off from Route 66
Just look for the bright yellow mural, makes for a fun photo op. As I was dying alone I opted to sit at the bar area and happened to sit right next to the owner, Ron. Ron and his staff were so very attentive and easy going that I felt very at home. I had a nice crisp salad and built my own pizza which had a huge amount of cheese they do not skimp on ingredients! Worth the stop!

Absolutely delcious!! We loved the cold red sauce and fresh bread. Homemade feta vinegarette was great. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms which were perfectly cooked and the pink sauce is to die for. All three of us were very pleased with dinner : spinach ravioli, lasagne, and seafood pasta. The portions are impressive too! Fabulous lil restaurant with super friendly staff. Our waiter, Sean, was so nice and loved his job. Cant wait to travel through Kingman again!

Great stop for any motorcycle group. Was disappointed that the Open signs were up but the shop was closed when we arrived. All in all, the man rang the fertility bell but my tubes are tied thank goodness! What a fun adventure. Don't forget to look at the Rattlers!

Giganticus Headicus is a statue resembling the Easter Island heads, built in 2004 by local artist Gregg Arnold: it's made of cement, chicken wire and styrofoam. It sits in front of a building that hosted a Nickerson Farms restaurant, a popular chain between 1960 and 1980, while now there is a gift shop. You can also find a vintage gas pump and some old abandoned cars around it.

REVITALIZING OLD ROUTE 66!!! This stop continues to grow, it seems. We had a great visit recently, though unfortunately the shop was closed for the day. Excellent quirky roadside attractions, art, and historical memorabilia. Worth the drive on old 66 through the serene high desert.
A classic landmark of Route 66, absolutely to visit during your trip on the Mother Road. The place is famous for the iconic huge green face mask outside the building.

This place is super unique!!! I had a lot of fun just waking the grounds and taking fun vids and pics! The shop was closed when I went but it was ok cause there was lots to see. There are very old and unique cars here.
We got on Easter Sunday and it was closed but the art outside was still worth the visit! Pixar’s Cars fans must see this place.
Don't know what to say about this, except it just fits on this trip. Place was closed when we went (which was late December early January), but the cars out front, the statues, the building, and the scenery in the background are all worth the stop.

Desert Diamond Distillery, the oldest craft distillery in Arizona, was established by the Patt family in 2010. Originally planning to open a brewery or winery, they shifted their focus to spirits after attending a distillery conference. The distillery offers five premium liquors, including award-winning rums. Located near Kingman Airport off Highway 66, it's one of the few open-to-the-public distilleries in Arizona.
They are part of the Harvest Host RV club. Big paved lot out front, gravel in back, lots of room. Nice little craft distillery, their agave rum is a nice sipper.

I stopped as I was heading out of town which happened to be just after 11:00am on a Monday. I'm so glad I stopped. Not only was I able to taste some great rums and a unique vodka, I had a great time learning interesting fun facts from their tasting specialist. I spent more time there then anticipated but that just means that it was better than I expected it would be which is a good thing. If I didn't have places to be I would have done a 2nd tasting to sample some of their reserve rums that are said to rival a good whiskey. So, plan a visit. There is a cost for the tasting but I thought it was worth it because of the variety. Plus you get a souvenir shot glass.
So impressed with this place. 2 beautiful Dark wood bars. The Agave Rum was my favorite. Impressive collection of distilled and flavored olive oils and drink mixes. Take time and relax at this place, enjoy their atmosphere.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while staying in Kingman for work. We wanted to checkout some of the local places.
The service here is fantastic. Everyone working there is helpful and genuinely friendly, making you feel right at home whether you're there for a tasting or just to grab a bottle. It's not one of those stuffy places; it's just a really comfortable spot to hang out and learn about their spirits. Definitely a great stop if you're in the area!
Unbelievable! This place truly exceeded our expectations. Don't be put off by the location at the airport. It is worth the drive out. We are staying on the property as Harvest Host members and enjoyed an amazing lunch in one of the historic train cars. The retail store and bar are upscale and filled with delightful gift items and products. Spent a little time chatting with the owner and found out they have been in this location since 2009 and are the oldest distillery still in business in AZ. A true must see when you are in the Kingman area!
Our Friday afternoon stop was outstanding. As Harvesthost members, we were allowed to stay on distillery grounds for free and park our 36 foot RV and the Jeep in their parking lot. We took advantage of their hospitality and made a reservation to eat the delicious sandwiches in the old train car. Later in the afternoon we sampled their outstanding Rum flights while the owner John gave us a detailed description of his creations.
Overall a super nice experience, plenty of room to accommodate our rig, grounds and facility are clean, people are welcoming and the spirits are wonderful !

An amazing experience in a small batch distillery who does things with quality in mind. Staff are awesome, grilled cheese panani on the dining car from 1918 was fun and tasty. The spirits were impressive: Agave Rum, Moonshine, and their 7 year whiskey were impressive also. Give them a shot! They are also a Harvest Host, look that up if you have an RV!
While driving along Route 66 you can find real gems like Diamond Distillery in Kingman. I really recommend stopping there – they have award-winning rums and also a very good corn whisky. The best thing is that you can try everything in a tasting menu and then walk out with the bottle you liked the most. Totally worth it!

If you can get used to a park without grass then you'll love this place! I'm so happy this park is nearby my neighborhood! It's perfect for a nice walk before dark. People are usually here taking a walk taking their dogs to the dog park. It's great overall! Sometimes kids park out there to have a smoke or something but then again they don't bother me. As long as people pick up their trash it's a great place to be! There's plenty of picnic tables along with a two-section dog park and a baseball diamond. The old restrooms are locked up but they do maintain a port-a-potty out there. Overall, the landscaping irrigation is good but there are one or two trees that need the irrigation adjusted or they'll die sooner or later. If the irrigation is fixed, they'll avoid replacing those trees or just removing them. Removing a tree in this park would be a big deal as the greenery is limited. I do care about this park and so do others nearby. Given the budget the county has available, I'd say they do pretty well maintaining it, I just wish someone would fix the irrigation for those one or two trees that really need it! I've included a few pics of those trees. The irrigation is close but moving away from where it is needed. This would be an easy fix and keep our park looking nice.
When my parents visit I walk their dog here. I notice that the water fountain only partially works. That would also be a quick fix, I think.

The park is nice and quiet but there is no bathroom only a port -a-potty! Build a bathroom! Nice place for dogs.I wish there would be more trees for shade. The park employees are probably too lazy to clean a bathroom! I see that a lot everywhere there’s a park!
Very nice park with a dog park,, 🐱 they have three separate areas for dogs🐕the dog portion of the park is closed on Thursday from 11:30am to 1:00 p.m. for cleaning and mowing the lawn in the gated area, it has some grass and trees, we take our dogs there about 2 or 3 times a week. And we always seem to meet very nice people there. 😁
This is a great park for weekend activities. There is play equipment along with benches for picnics. This location is excellent for leisure time or social gatherings.

Would be nice if there was grass but it's pretty sandy and thankfully not very rocky. It's a pretty large area for the dogs to run around, small and large tog section seem to be the same size. There is a water fountain but it doesn't really work. Definitly recommend bringing your own water and dishes for your dogs. Not much shade
I like to bring our dogs here. The dog area is huge but doesn't have any grass. Still, the dogs are free to run the fence in-between the big dog and little dog side. The goal of wearing them out with running is accomplished when there's a playful big dog on the other side. Our dogs love it here! It's kept up by volunteers and money from the Hualapai Mountain Park fees so they can always use some help.

When we had questions, we found her to be very knowledgeable about their products. We not only ended up buying the sectional, but because of the great customer service, we bought the coffee table, end tables and a rug. I should mention she did tell us we should look around to see what’s out there. We did and we came back to her. No high pressure sales. Delivery was earlier than promised and we love our new living room setup. Thank you Melody!!!

We bought a dining room set in October of 2023. Now 19 months later (warranty of for 12 months and we did not buy additional protection) the side lamination is peeling. I went to the store to ask if they could so anything. They said that set has been discontinued and the warranty is 12 months so they could do nothing. They said I could hire their furniture repair guy if I wanted to. I understand the warranty is 12 months but if the item is really discontinued and the quality is so poor that it won't last a couple years I would think the store would want to do something, anything, when something like this happens. I really liked this store compared to the competition but now I will purchase my bedroom set and living room set someplace else. No repeat business has to hurt in a small town like Kingman!
The selection of furniture is incredible! They were great! They answered all my questions. They got me a great deal on all my furniture and they will hold it until I'm ready for it. I couldn't ask for anything more!!
Stopped into the Kingman store to pick up a chair for my wife. Walked in the door, backpacking portable oxygen. I was greeted by a very nice lady named Samantha. She not only got the chair for me…she took it out to my truck….then put it in the truck for me. Thank You Samantha! You truly made my day 😊
Went to find a new sofa/loveseat combo. Personnel there was excellent. They took time to understand the situation I was in and went far above and beyond to make me feel taken care of. I only shop here for furniture! Best in town.

Nice Little League Park has a snack shack, restrooms, and two parking lots. The park is set back off the road a little ways, so baseball is all that's going on... thanks to the coaches and staff who deticate their time and energy into the park, league, and teams

I can't really comment on any of the other amenities like the sports fields, but I bring my kids here for the playground. Looks very well-maintained never see any trash or dog droppings like some other parks.
It's very out of the way for people who are not locals, but a great example of what a park can be if the volunteers care.
There are bulk recycle bins nearby so we visit this park every other week or so, always a good experience.
And unlike most Parks they actually have a public restroom.
Right next to the train tracks, so the kiddo enjoyed watching the trains going by. Lots of space to run around and some pretty nice equipment. No big kids swings though, however there was a wheel chair accessible swing.

Was trying to find a nice place in Kingman to unwind, relax and let our 3 year old run around, usually a brewery works well and this place did not disappoint. Great outdoor patio space with plenty of fun for kids to play with and run around. This place has a pretty good beer selection and the beer was pretty good.
I really love that they reuse their spent brewing grains to make pizza dough, it is a cool concept with their "Dirty Dough" never really being the same day to day. The word play on their menu is absolutely hilarious, although not the most family friendly ha ha. Staff was really friendly, came right out to greet us and get us waters and menus. They were super nice to our daughter and gave her juice and stickers on the house. The pizza was fantastic. Their dirty dough is nice and fluffy but holds up well to the weight of the toppings. We got the Artichoke-me-Daddy/Hipster pizza as we were looking for something a bit lighter or no meat. They were kind enough to only put jalapeno on one half so that our daughter could have non spicy slices. This pizza filled us up quick, but it was so good and the lemon seemed odd at first but it paired so well with the artichokes and the jalapenos. We also tried their cheese "sticks" which, in retrospect was a mistake when looking for lighter bites. Same big fluffy dough, tons of cheese and the beer cheese had a really nice tang to it.
I wish we were in town for more than one night to try more beer and pizza. I definitely would want to swing by here again if passing through, though I would hope to have more people with us to share with since their food is quite filling.

My husband was excited about the opportunity for pizza he could eat as he's gluten free and lactose intolerant. Unfortunately they do not offer vegan cheese to go along with his cauliflower crust pizza. For $19 it was a little underwhelming. He definitely had a second lunch soon after as it was more of a snack than a meal. Overall he said it was good, just not enough food.
I ordered the Maui nachos which were ok. They mentioned being spicy on the menu but didn't seem so to me. I know we were at a brewery but after going through breast cancer, I am not drinking alcohol and with only sugary drinks options, I only had water. I know we're in a small town but wasn't super impressed with our meal.
Our waitress was awesome, super friendly and attentive.
My family and I went there for dinner and bingo fundraiser for Feral Cat Warriors. The pizza was delicious and a large one fed all five of us. I ordered a giant tiramisu which was yummy and light. I shared the dessert and still had a good portion. Our server was professional and courteous. Mr Bingo was fun and the cat folks were very nice. Overall a great experience which doesn't surprise me because I normally eat outside and love that too.
Best spot in town if you ask me. Good selection of local beers, most brewed in-house, great food and a huge outdoor patio area with a stage for live music. The pizza is great here, but the burgers are very underrated.
Shout-out to server Saylor, she was great, attentive not rushing, friendly. The pizza is great, subtle but tasty marinara and the BBQ sauce was so good and plenty on pizza, some BBQ chicken can be dry, this was perfect!

Despite only one server on today, Amora crushed it. Hospitality was awesome and the team was all friendly and helpful. Beer was awesome. Standouts on our flight were the Snozzberry and Melonaire — probably because they’re very refreshing on a hot day. Pizza is absolutely delicious and the house salad took care of us while we waited.
We took a day trip to Kingman from Las Vegas. We stopped by RCB for dinner. We had pizza, cheese sticks, and a flight of beer. The pizza and breadsticks were wonderful and they don’t skimp on the cheese. They had a great selection of beer to choose from. The service was amazing. Our waitress gave us recommendations and also came back to check on us often. I recommend stopping in, you won’t be disappointed.

Nice portions, was able to get a 2 egg omelette. The decor isn't anything to write home about but the food and service sure is! At the end of the day, that's what matters. Unassuming store front, can almost drive by it but nice big parking lot to pull into if you do. Reasonable prices, great food, can't ask for more!

For all of you traveling Route 66 and hungry, PLEASE take the opportunity to eat at Grandpa's Kitchen. You won't regret it. We were there on 10/29/25 and the food was phenomenal and homemade and the service was legendary like it should be more often.

Me and my boyfriend got two full platters of biscuits and gravy food was great. However our server the guy right off the bat said he didn't know his job nor the computers and was very lost also had a few rude jokes and never refilled our drinks at one point he came to check on us and was chewing food and had crumbs all over his face said he had stolen a chicken strip so... They might wanna rethink the new guy. The girl ended up helping us the most she even got us boxes to go and answered some questions we had. These plate are 7.99 each well worth the money and great portions can't go wrong with this if you love biscuits and gravy.
I highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you are looking for great food at a reasonable price. They offer home cooking with everything freshly made every day. The quality of their meals is exceptional, and the prices are incredibly fair. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal without breaking the bank. I can't wait to visit again soon!
I wanted to like this place, but service was mediocre at best. They cater to the locals that they know. I had to keep asking for what I needed. Got the steak and eggs, asked for it medium rare and it came out like leather. They made me a new one that was both raw and had so much tough grisle and hard stuff in it I gave up. Brought it hime for the dog. Hashbrowns were really greasy and my over medium eggs were over easy and still showed slimy uncooked white. Gross. Sorry, but save your $25 and eat elsewhere in Kingman

They offer a diverse menu featuring burgers, chicken, tacos, breakfast items, shakes and Munchie Meals that are available all day and night. Customers praise the freshness and quality of their food, particularly their burgers which are cooked to order. Some even compare them favorably to other well-known burger joints. The service is also commended for being friendly and helpful.
Jack in the box was as amazing as I remember it to be! Traveling from Arkansas, we don't any jack in the box out there and boy I sure have missed the tacos and greasy burgers! Wanted the little mini tacos but they were out and their truck was being delivered that day so when we told the lady we were passing through she tried to discount our food but couldn't figure it out so she gave me my soda for free! Thank you so much for that!

I saw that the drive through was a long queue, so we decided to go inside instead. A bit difficult to find a space for the car, but we managed to find a spot next to the trucks parking area.
My first time visit to jack in the box, so I don't know their standards, but my wrap was so so small, it was just a snack instead of a meal. For $3.29 I'd rather go for $8.29 wrap from Subway anytime.
This place was better before the renovation. This place has gone down the drain. I had a bad experience with the App they push to “get deals”. Completely screwed up the order. Received a call from Vicky and was asked “so what do you want me to do? A refund or something?” I asked for the correct order. She was nice and said she wrote it down in the book and to just ask. Upon showing up to get my order I was met with attitude, and yep you guessed it.. The wrong order. Tried one more chance today to redeem a reward Item, 50 pts. for a spicy chicken sandwich and it literally tasted raw. I was unable to chew the meat, not sure if under cooked of left out for hours but I wound up discarding the item. It’s obvious why they are on Mohave County Health Dept. as “Needs Improvement”!! Can’t pass a health inspection so definitely shouldn’t be trusted with your family!
Food and service was great. I love these places as they have breakfast all day. The cashier was a cool guy and very nice. Could be a bit cleaner but it was around lunch.
Place was dirty bathrooms where dirty food was just not very good ordered a sourdough jack was just not appetizing bread with butter not toasted check out picture I don't like to complain and re order because you open yourself to well I wouldn't complain and get new food and eat it just put it that way but that's just me the the lady up front was nice but that was it.
Why is it every time you go through the drive through here?It sounds like the person taking your order.Wants nothing to do with you can care less and is trying to speed you through the process. The last seven times i've been through the drive through, it doesn't matter who it is.I feel like the employee taking the order has no customer service training at all. They will start the conversation with what do you want?And end it with please pull to the window.No rereading orders, no telling you the total I get it.It's a fast paced environment, but if mcdonald's can do it come on, jack, you can.
Food was great, served quickly. The curly fries and tacos were extra good. The veggies on the burgers were nice and fresh. The lobby could have been a bit better wiped down, but they were training a new employee and it was not terriblely untended.
Stopped by to grab something to eat on our way back to Cali. The service in the drive-thru was not on point. The worker taking the orders wasn't pleasant to speak with or deal with. She seemed miserable, and it reflected in her tone and how she was interacting with the customers. Also, our order was wrong. By the time we made it up to the window, I was over it.
