Carlos Creek is the perfect place to unwind when we’re up at the lake. The wine, beer and pizza are the perfect combo for a fun night out…oh, but wait…there’s live music and a beautiful property too!

Absolutely amazing. The brewery and winery have amazing selections for all tastes and preferences. Jacks Pub, their outdoor bar, has amazing views of the winery and is aesthetically pleasing. If you aren't sure what you like, the brewtenders are happy to help you find what you like! Not to mention the bingo nights are packed and so much fun! Love coming to Carlos Creek!
Andie F — Google review
The winery is amazing - the food is great. The wine is exactly what you’re looking for. The ambience though - is everything! Only grading 3 stars due to service staff. We had three separate instances where we didn’t feel like guests… more in the way for the staff. At one point my friend tried to point out to an employee that the paper towels were empty in the girls bathroom to be helpful. Rather than saying thank you for letting us know, she gave an excuse and said she’s “kinda busy” ((well of course but don’t you want to know?)) Then we had a question in the brewery about making four packs to go and the response was again very rude. I don’t know if they have too many customers (I mean good for you) but service is important… it’s the difference between a sale and no sale. (We didn’t buy due to service in this instance.)

Stopped in to check this place out. There is great outdoor seating with a few photo ops to choose from. Very cute. Great selection of wine.

Carlos Creek is a beautiful vineyard! We loved the wine and pizza! Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere! We will definitely be back!

Winery and brewery all in one place! THAT is very satisfying. 2nd year here with a work conference. Great place to hang our after a long day of indoor sessions. I started with a light flight of brew this time, last year I did the wine flight. My peers teased me about how gross a pumpkin coffee beer must be, I also had my doubts, I actually LOVED IT and wished they had it canned in their to go cooler to share at our beer tasting event for the next night and to bring home. This place doesn't disappoint. Looking forward to going again either with conference or with my family and friends when in the area.

We had the most perfect wedding day, and it was all thanks to the staff at Carlos Creek. From our initial venue tour to the end of the wedding night, the staff was nothing but attentive, helpful, and kind. One of the main reasons we chose this venue was their promise of "doing it all." We did not want our family or bridal party to have to put in work on our wedding day, and the staff did an amazing job of making that happen. The event team, especially Shelby, did such a great job throughout the planning process as well ensuring all of our questions were answered. Our family and guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff, and we are very grateful for every person at Carlos Creek for giving us the easiest, most beautiful, and best wedding day ever! Thank you!

We always enjoy our time at Carlos Creek and 22 Northmen. The staff is awesome, friendly and helpful. The pizzas at Stoke Pizza are exceptionally delicious. We tried the new Loaded Mediterranean Veggie and WOW!, it was scrumptious!

Thursday, Matinee "Love Letters". Some people were 40 min early. Beautiful patio to lounge on in front of the building. Comfortable chairs. Theater was mostly full. Friendly attendants to help seat you. Wheelchair ramp entrance into the theater and seating was wide and handy. Sound during the performances was perfect. I literally could hear a whisper. Wonderful experience with a friend from the East Coast. The answer and questions after was an extra treat we greatly enjoyed!!!

Every performance we have gone to has been worthy of our time, money and effort to make it happen. LOVELY. Great venue, there is not a bad seat anywhere. Nice selection of refreshments. Plenty of parking.

Last night we saw Beautiful. This is one of the best shows I've ever seen . Ranks in my top ten anywhere. Nicole Mulder who produced this show really hit it out of the park! The singing and dancing were first rate. The audience was totally engaged every minute to this storyline. The emotional energy level between the actors and audience was obvious . What a fun night . I'd see this one again !
Don M — Google review
Lovely theatre. My family enjoyed Cloud Cult here. The location is unique. The seats were larger and more relaxed than most venues. The staff was also very friendly and the experience overall was amazing.
Amber S — Google review
We had so much fun Saturday night. I try to take in most shows but this was the favorite if your musicals. Thanks for the local entertainment.
Cindi N — Google review
Great experience. The show. "Beautiful," was very well done. The audience experience would have been better with stronger HVAC. Midway through the first act, it became miserably warm and stuffy...in a packed house. It seemed it was figured out for the second act, and our focus could be on the show and not on how warm it was in the building. Overall, it was a "warm" but fun experience.

Drove up from Minneapolis to see Beautiful the Musical. What a fabulous show!!! The entire cast was amazing and a beautiful venue to boot! We will visit again!

Casey's Amusement Park is a delightful destination for families seeking fun and excitement from May through September. This vibrant park features an array of attractions, including thrilling go-kart tracks, engaging mini-golf courses with two unique layouts, bumper boats for splashing around, and batting cages to test your swing. It's the perfect venue for company picnics or family gatherings where guests of all ages—from toddlers to seniors—can enjoy themselves together.
This course was really fun. They have a full 18 and a double 9 here. The front 18 have a really easy par structure and I was a Rock Star at -13 there. A double 9 course has 2 flags on each hole, thus giving you another 18 hole course if you play both holes. Only the second time I’ve ever seen that. Good stuff. The par structure is much closer on these holes and I ended up +2 there. Very nice place and I highly recommend playing here. Enjoy…
Jeff B — Google review
Boys enjoyed the bumper boats and karts. The mini golf was also fun. Reasonable in price and a friendly staff makes for a fine couple of hours. Definitely family friendly and fine for any age. Plenty of shady spots on a hot day and ticket/ concession area has A/C.
Jerome L — Google review
Visiting from out of town, we came with relatives in the area. The inside building and restrooms were very clean and well kept, staff was friendly, and attractions were well maintained. We didn't have to wait much at all for the go-carts or the mini golf on a weekday. Impressed with the cleanliness and the condition of the facilities. My son was upset that he was the the last car to depart on the go-cart track so really no way to catch up to the front and at the end they give tickets to the first two winners that you can accumulate for prizes. So, that's constructive feedback for the establishement, but didn't deter having any fun and we would definitely return if in the area again.
Elise S — Google review
Have us a discount because we were the only ones and let us do both golf courses anyway, also let us do the go karts early and the owner was so nice. The kart racing was a little too short in my opinion though. Other than that it was great!

Such a wonderful park to go for lots fun for kids and adults too. We love the karts and bumper boats , mini golf area is fine. The park is clean and well maintained. Prices are good too. Fun time for the family teens and younger ones a like. Can get spendy but as a special day or reward is a great family time. 2 courses for mini golf, 3 adult go cart tracks, and one mini track. I think they even have snacks in the stand, but I'm not 100% on that. It was very busy when we went and the lines moved quickly. Normally, on a track within 5 minutes.

Alexandria City Park

Park
The Alexandria City Park is a popular destination for families, offering a lakefront beach and fishing pier that attract visitors. The park features a playground, tennis courts, and beautiful natural surroundings. It is highly recommended to visit while in Alexandria as it offers a wonderful park with stunning views of two interconnected lakes. Children can enjoy the large swing set and other play equipment, while shaded picnic tables with barbeque grills are available for picnics.
Alexandria City Park is worth the drive off the interstate. The park has several picnic tables, multiple playgrounds, a small beach, pickeball courts, gazebo, and restrooms. The grounds are rolling with mature shade trees and views of downtown Alexandria and the lakes. The restrooms were a little iffy, like more park restrooms, but they worked. My suggestion to the city is to have more signage or a map of the park. Its big enough that it visitors need a little direction.
Matt L — Google review
Lovely view of the two lakes. Plenty of playground area, pickle ball court, pavilions and walking trails. The only thing I didn't care for at this park is that there is dog poop through the grass.
Stephanie B — Google review
If your visiting Alexandria , then it's a must visit place here. Wonderful park surrounding nature. We loved to visit it. Two lakes connected here and view is awesome. There are a large swing set for kids along with some other play equipments . Shaded picnic tables with barbeque grills. You can spend your whole picnic day here. There is also a beach to enjoy. Clean restrooms. There is also a pickle ball court , so don't forget to bring it. Enough parking area . And you can visit it for free. What's more, keep exploring and enjoy some quality time with nature.
Ruplekha B — Google review
I've been there 3 times now in two days. Amazing little park on the lake. Very dog friendly. The dog got to swim and had a blast.

This park is so gorgeous, and it's literally sitting on two beautiful lakes. Our kids loved it!!!
Mindy B — Google review
really liked it, my girlfriend and I decided to have a picnic on the grass in the shade of a tree we looked around, walked around found a spot it was absolutely beautiful the weather was great not a lot of people, fortunately there's enough room in the park to be able to be spread out from others which is nice. I did not use the facilities, my girlfriend did she said they were clean with the exception of the toilet itself previous users or user had made a mess which is unfortunate for others. very obviously some dog owners that are not using the bags and as well not paying attention as as we were having our time with our picnic we noticed several random clumps of dried dog poop around us. pet owners, do better
Bri L — Google review
Absolutely Beautiful park. Well maintained. We have a family reunion there every summer! There are nice picnic shelters (we reserved ours), a nice playground for kids and a great swimming beach. There are also flush toilets and changing rooms.

Sandwich shop
Subway is a casual fast-food chain that offers customizable sandwiches and salads, catering to health-conscious individuals. The establishment provides a counter-service experience, allowing customers to build their own meals with various options. The hiring process was efficient and straightforward, with the interviewer named Reagan being highly engaged. While the work environment was generally productive, there were instances of hostility during night shifts in recent times.
Great staff great food great service. 100% recommend going to the subway, all the poor reviews I’ve seen about this location is hard to believe. Don’t believe everything you see online.
Brevin Z — Google review
Stopped here recently and went through the drive thru. Bad idea! The screen is all glitchy and it must've sent our order wrong because when we got to the window our order had 2 different types of bread listed for one sub. They fixed that for us and we thought we were in the clear but man were we wrong. They forgot our chips, kept my card, and when we got home there was only one tomato slice one cucumber slice and 2 olive slices on my 6" sub. The meat and cheese were correct but I chose to have my sub toasted and that wasn't done. And on my kids sandwiches they had the sauces mixed up. My wife's sandwich was also supposed to be toasted but wasn't. I'd definitely stay clear of this one for a while. I've had good luck in the past here but after this I'll go elsewhere.
Nick W — Google review
I literally got charged for an online order however, when I went into the store to ask them, what was going on Because the app seemed to be having issues the boy made me stand there for 15 minutes and wait for him to finish making online orders when the other boy just kind of walked around. Then, when I asked the boy, if he was finally going to help me, he basically told me that I had to re-buy the sub I just paid for. I really hope somebody calls me to refund my money. I will not be going back to Subway which really sucks because it’s my favorite restaurant.
Jason B — Google review
The person who started my sandwich was some punk kid trying to think he was funny. He couldn’t even tell me what the wraps were. There is one that I really like. But it wasn’t on the menu. So HE decides to make me the one HE thought was right. He dropped the little hot pad on the floor, the proceeded to touch food without changing gloves. He flung my bread down the line almost knocking that on the floor. I asked for a few more black olives and he literally threw them on my sandwich. I got home and he couldn’t even cut my sandwich in half. I had to do it. Usually the wraps and the footings are cut in half. Not with him it wasn’t. He needs to learn better customer service than that. I was in on 9/25/25 and paid for my stuff at 7:05. Very disgusted with this kid and his actions! The wrap I always got never had bbq sauce on it. And I always got to choose the cheese I wanted. He just put shredded cheese.
Diana W — Google review
My sandwich was supposed to have extra lettuce and didn’t. The bread was very dry and fell apart as I ate the sandwich. It was toasted so I expected some dryness, but this felt like the bread was stale to begin with. The worst part was the churro! First of all, it was so hard I could hardly bite into it. The small piece I tore off tasted old and gross. I had to spit it out. Also, no one greeted me or said anything to me as I left the restaurant.
Vonda P — Google review
The subway guy working today that had to put up with the guy in front of us... seriously you need a raise...what's in the cheese? And where does the lettuce come from 🤦 you were very professional! I comend you!!!
Susie M — Google review
It's almost as if businesses are going out of their way to lose customers! Good job SUBWAY! WAY TO LOWER THE BAR!
Patrick W — Google review
We showed up at 8:00pm for our mobile pick up order(2hours before close). We ordered the footlong cookie, and a single cookie. Along with two footlong sandwiches. One of the sandwiches was completely burnt and inedible. As for the cookies there were none. We figured they forgot because they didn’t mention anything. So when we went back in to get our cookies they said they didn’t have any and gave us chips. I’m disappointed that I used my hard earned money to buy food that I had to throw away and otherwise was not what I ordered.

The Interlachen Inn offers a diverse dining experience, with some patrons having a mixed encounter. While enjoying the Interlachen pasta, one customer encountered cold chicken initially but found it hot and delicious when served again. This suggests that the initial mistake in heating may have been an isolated incident. The restaurant boasts friendly staff and is highly recommended by many customers who love their monthly visits.
Got to Interlachen around 5:15 without a reservation and fortunately they had one available table at the back. Seems like a very busy place due to the relatively small size of the restaurant and popularity. Our table started off with their version of fried pickles for an appetizer. They were definitely a hit with the pickle actually inside the deep fried shell stuffed with creme cheese. Ranch dressing provided for dipping. Soups including their chilli as well as clam chowder were very good. My side salad was OK but actually could have been a tick larger and had a tomato. Dressing was tasty and salad came with a warm hard roll that hit the spot. The table had entrees ranging from my 12 oz teriyaki ribeye to coconut shrimp and full rack of barbecue ribs. All were prepared to perfection and tasted great. Price point of dinners ranged from $27 to $32 which seemed to be very reasonable for quality and dining experience. Nice overall stay at Interlachen and would come back when in the area. The only negative thing I could think of is they have a number of quotes and pictures of celebrities on their walls. However, one of them comes from Bill Cosby who in my estimation should not be quoted in any establishment after all his very serious criminal charges. Might suggest this gets taken down. It's in the back where most people see it but we did and think it's in bad taste and somewhat offensive. Don't want it to spoil the visit that was relatively a positive one.

Excellent food, spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. My wife and I split the walleye sandwich. The we got a piece of key lime pie which was excellent. Nice job to the staff here.
Craig K — Google review
Plenty of parking, great cocktails, and food menu. Our server was wonderful and offered suggestions. She rocked!! I enjoyed the French onion soup, scallops, and Moscow mule. Very good, the serving size was generous. My brother loved his ribeye, and my wife loved her walleye. Life is good there. I want to return to taste the meatloaf. Pretty place, good for a get-together or celebration dinner. Fancy in a casual dress way.

We took our son and his fiancée out for dinner out to Interlachen. They had never been there and it had been a long time since we’ve been there. We loved the food, service and the atmosphere! Appetizer’s were awesome. The food was all home made… even the salad dressing. Could not have been happier with our outing!!!
Greg F — Google review
We came in at 11:30. We were the only table occupied at the time. Ordered appetizers and our meals. An hour went by before we received our appetizers, and another half hour before we got our meals. Other guests that came in after us were already getting their food before we even had our appetizers. Then we had to go up to the bar to get our tab and to go boxes. Food was good, very slow/poor service. I wouldn’t recommend going there for a quick bit.
Nicole S — Google review
Seafood chowder was amazing hands down.. But waited almost 1 hour for meatloaf that was absolutely covered in gravy and thats all you tasted. Not worth the hour wait or price

Lure Lakebar offers a wide selection of unique dishes that have received positive reviews, such as shrimp scampi flatbread and fish tacos. Customers have also enjoyed the delicious blueberry cake for dessert. The friendly waitress provided excellent service. The restaurant has outdoor seating that allows guests to enjoy fresh air, although it is situated across the street from the lake rather than directly on its shores. Observing other tables' orders provided inspiration for future visits to try different menu items.
For a nice place like this one. I was disappointed with the half pound shrimp. They should be using 16/20 count.. my perceived value was not met. The oysters could be larger but was delicious. Atmosphere is first rate. Abbi our server attentive and knowledgeable. Abbi got a table of 20 and got in the weeds and her existing tables lacked an attentive server. Thank goodness Lilly came in from in back to assist her with her tables. And we enjoyed the rest of our supper. . As in all it was a great meal. We come in often and will continue to do so.

Two of us loved our dinners. My shrimp boil and the walleye dinner were so good. The soups were ok. The clam chowder was a tad watery. The seafood bowl was lacking seafood. The waitress was wonderful and prompt. We always love the atmosphere outdoors and by the lake. We love this place and would still come back again. We all agree we would all order the wallet dinner next time.
