This is a nice spot to stop by with the kids if you’re visiting Cullman. They have a Splash Pad! Ice cream and concessions, restrooms, and a mini golf course. A pond and a pier to feed the ducks, and a train ride. It’s an all around great spot to take the kids.
Omar P — Google review
Great place for kids and you can rent a Pavillion under the trees for a family or friends gathering. On weekends they have a small putt putt cource, a swimming pool, and a concession stands. Take the kids on a train ride.
Cher P — Google review
Kids loved feeding the ducks and had a great family event. Always enjoy the Park. Many ducks, turtles and fish!
Stephine B — Google review
Awesome place for the whole family! They offer boat, bike, and paddle boat, rentals. There is a train ride that goes around the lake, putt putt golf, splash pad, playground, fishing & lots of things for the whole family. Also there is a nice Veterans Memorial park.

Beautiful park. Large walking track around the water. There's a huge FENCED IN playground and splash pad. There's a nice concession stand to buy some treats. They also have a train ride that goes around the water. There are so many ducks, geese, fish and turtles to feed off the pier. There's a machine where you can buy food to feed them. 10/10 Beautiful park.
Hannah B — Google review
Great playground for kids, putt putt golf, and train rides on weekends. There are lots of hiking trails across the road in a garden area.Trails run all over the side of the mountain.Dog friendly hiking , just bring bags with in case use bathroom on trail.Otherwise it is a dog friendly area. My fur baby loves running all over the trails here, even running in a creek that has slow running low water in areas. Then there are quite deep running waters and bridges to cross those areas. They also, on the other side of the park, have a concession building, a Miliarty memorial that is just breathtaking. Rides putt putt and food not expensive. Everything else is free. Just be respectful and throw trash in very visible garbage cans throughout beautiful park.
Michelle W — Google review
Clean park with many picnic tables, some along the lakeside. Many pavilions for rental that have lights and power. Food for a fan. Splash pad, mini golf, snack bar, and rental pedal boats. Small park train for the kids. Restrooms spread out in the park and clean. Christmas light visit in 2024 was great. Only 10$ per vehicle. About 20 minutes to get into the car pay line. About 30 minutes to drive through. Good value. It’s not Callaway Gardens and I appreciate that. About 1/5 the price and about the same time and amount of lights.

Located at 1710 Tally Ho St NW, Cullman, AL 35055, the Cullman Bowling Center is a family-friendly bowling alley that offers various specials and deals throughout the week. It features Glow Bowling in the evenings and is an ideal venue for parties and special events. Visitors praise its clean and accommodating environment, friendly staff, and comfortable bowling shoes. The center also has a restaurant with delicious burgers and onion rings.
Great place for some good clean fun! Very helpful staff especially for kids birthday parties!

Lanes ruined my 2 month old ball leaving it looking like it had been stabbed with a knife numerous times. Said they would resurface it for free. Left it to them for a week and got it back untouched. Left it again for almost another week and still unable to get it back. Was told they'd call me next week cause they was unsure about something regarding the repair and never bothered to call and ask me. Keep the ball. Won't be returning.
Chris B — Google review
Worst experience. They rented a single lane to us due to high volume, despite the fact we had 10 bowlers mostly kids who would need assistance and 2 adults to assist, this means 4 chairs in that row, to the 10 paid admissions. They rented the lane beside us to 2 young girls, who had 2 other friends not bowling join them, we were as a group using 6 of the 8 chairs, (mind you 10 paid)The young man in charge then demanded the rest stand due to the little teen girls across wanting the seats we had, despite this splitting our party up. We paid good money to have to wait upstairs to supervise instead of being close to the 10 children we had participating, or stand for 2 hours. Horrible attitude for the young man. He obviously felt quite swayed by the nearly nude young ladies tantruming for our seats, though we all paid in our group and only 2 of the 4 ladies had paid and were participating. Those 2 young ladies had available seating, only their UNPAID guests did not. We won't be returning, nor will any of the participants from today's group.

Very fun and friendly atmosphere, love bringing the kids here for a good time and to let them get some competitive energy out.

AWFUL this place should not be in business!! Their shoes are ancient!! And they won’t give bumpers to kids over 12!! AND the bowling balls are outdated and they hurt! Their bowling balls are oily!

Toured facility today and beautiful scenery on the inside and outside. Plenty of parking. Very nice and friendly staff greeted my husband and I as soon as we entered. This place has so much to offer. Membership prices aren't bad. Nice and clean building. Highly recommended

I visit family in Cullman several times a year. We always bring the kids swimming here. The day pass is perfect, gives us something to do on a rainy day (indoor aquatic center). I haven't been to the outdoor water park here yet, but I'm sure that'll happen this summer. BONUS: THRILLED to see they put a coffee bar in! They also have "Dippin dots", smoothies and protein bars. All reasonably priced!
Shawna B — Google review

Great family fun for a decent price. Cough cough alcohol served several children play areas and little ones slides! My grandson loved it
Felicia T — Google review
They do not answer the phone. We drove 45 mins to find out the slides and stuff are t a part of this gym. People aren't great . A couple of folks asked us to move.linited access to everything..Do not waste your time or _$$$$. Go to Point Mallard . This place sucks !!!!!!!
Beth L — Google review
They need more air circulation for the indoor pool area or just some fans to push air around. Extremely stuffy in there especially with the heat from the hot tub. Just a thought cause you shouldn't be sweating while swimming.
Rhonda S — Google review
Wildwater was very nice the kids loved it.

$10 per person for outdoor pool and play area — for indoor and outdoor pool access cost increases to $15 per person . 2 U are free. . Weekdays open 10a-6p. Extended hours — Twilight swim 6p-9p for non-members on Monday & Thursday’s. $7 per person for twilight swim. Very clean , relaxing atmosphere— impressed with ample lifeguards who actually take their job serious and blow whistles often to keep kids following rules and reinforce safety— can bring outside drinks - but concession stand is not overpriced very reasonable.

Guests can enjoy karaoke on Tuesdays and live music on Thursdays through Saturdays. While some have mentioned slow service and unfriendly staff, others have praised the venue for its great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and accommodating menu that caters to various dietary needs.
This place has really come up! The staff is great! Food is delicious. It's clean and the restrooms are clean. Full bar selection. The outside seating looks like something off a magazine. They have live music and karaoke different nights of the week. It's a lot of fun.

We were passing through and found this little gem. Great food, great service. Good enough we bought some of their merch. Highly recommend if you are in the area and want a great experience.
J B — Google review
Bowling alley food. They didn’t have vermouth to make a martini. There were two little kids running around and it was supposed to be an adult dive bar. I begged for a drink and then my date had to hunt down the bartender to pour a draft beer. It’s dead on a Sunday night except for little 2nd graders. I could have gone to a real restaurant! Bartender A was friendly and talked about tattoos. Bartender B ignored us even when she was behind the bar and let her 2nd grade son run around grabbing his wiener They served my pizza without plates or silverware or Parmesan cheese. I had to hunt down some bowling alley dude and get my own silverware Bartender wouldn’t let me write on the wall even if I promised to write song lyrics bc im not a musician. Boo 😒
Mar J — Google review
Seated next to the bowling alley, this bar and grill was mostly empty at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon. I was greeted as soon as I entered. I ordered the 3-Hawaiian Chicken tacos. This turned out to be chicken strips and chucks of pineapple tossed in heavy teriyaki sauce on a soft taco shell. There was a side of salsa and cream. My first few bites of chicken were dry and chewy. The larger chunks held up better. I ate two and got the third to go (I didn't eat the taco shells). It took a while to get the to go set up and my bill. There was a customer from the bowling alley who left after waiting 5 minutes at the bar, without receiving help or acknowledgement. By the time the bartender came out of the bathroom with her cleaning supplies the bowling customer had returned, and she made her drinks.
I-C W — Google review
Very solid restaurant. They were very understaffed, but the one bartender and waitress did an incredible job keeping up with the pace.
Adam E — Google review
This place really needs to expand as they are very overcrowded. You can’t get close to the bar to order a drink because there are chairs with people surrounding it. Needs a clear place to walk up to the bar. They make you open separate tabs at the bar or if you order from the table. Also be careful the bouncer will throw you off the porch.
Bob B — Google review
Ordered take out and almost had to slap a bouncer , because he thinks wearing a biker vest makes him toughf , which i think is hilarious, and the bacon sucked.

Mexican restaurant
Taqueria Las Cebollitas is a beloved Mexican restaurant in Cullman, tucked away off of HWY 157. It has been serving the community for years and is often recommended as a go-to spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. The food, including dishes like cheese enchiladas and veggie fajitas, receives high praise for its great taste and generous portions. Customers also appreciate the flavorful chips, salsa, and dips served with fresh onions and cilantro.
I was visiting from out of town and decided to try something local instead of a national chain. This place is legit. Quick friendly service. Quality ingredients and generous portions. I'm so glad I stopped by.
Adolfo C — Google review
One of the best Mexican Taquerias in Alabama, we always come here when we come to Cullman and love the Cody’s Quesadilla. It’s authentic, just make sure you ask for the fried corn tortilla version since it’s the best one. They have good creamy green salsa and a good (non watered down) version of their red salsa. We love both. This spot is a must visit spot if you stop by in Cullman.
Omar P — Google review
Right off the bat the service was prompt and the employees were extremely polite. The chips and salsa came out instantaneously and our thirsts were quenched quickly. The proportions that they serve are amazing and if you leave this place still hungry than you probably should enter professional eating competitions. The tortas and tacos are a must have. And a fun trick is that if you want hot fries, places like this are the perfect place to order them.
Myskoae — Google review
Hole in the walls of Cullman. They even have horchata. Definitely recommend the tacos. They give you abundantly of chip, salsa, cilantro/onion and red/green sauce. It is one of the authentic Mexican places that I have eaten in the south. Plan to come back for other menu option. For first time visit, this place is great! Please bring alcohol. I wouldn’t mine having a beer with my meal.
Tina P — Google review
A bit of background…my wife and I have been to Mexico many times. We’ve taken food tours where the locals have eaten. Bakeries and cantinas, tortilla shops and spice sales. I’ve traveled the US and have eaten at Mexican grills and restaurants. If they add cheese to meals, and add sour cream, that is not Mexican. Taqueria Las Cebollitas is Mexican. The way they prepare the food and add condiments is the real deal. A gem in Cullman! Took me back and we had a great meal. My wife had the tacos and I had the Carne Asada. The poblanos brought the heat like they were supposed to. Outside and location made me pause, but the inside was spectacular. If you want the real deal, eat here. Our cost was more because we ordered a side of cactus. Otherwise it would be less than the places I live near.
RoosterC — Google review
We were told about this gem of a place from my wife's co-workers. We went in for lunch with no expectations, but were completely blown away. The chips were not the best in town, but their salsa selection blows the competition away, so that alone is a win. My wife had the steak chimichanga, while I wanted to try their taco carnitas. We were not disappointed and truly enjoyed every bite. The interior decor is beautiful and brightly lit, where other locations are dark and suspect. The staff was very friendly and prompt on service. We cannot wait until our next visit.
N8 — Google review
The food is great. They go all out with everything that comes with the chips and salsa. (See the picture) They serve 3 salsas 1 mild and two spicy. If you are in a hurry this is not the place to eat. Make sure you come with time to spare because they do cook their food from scratch.
Andrea L — Google review
Absolutely loved this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, their staff greeted up with a smile. One look at the menus and we knew immediately the food was going to be authentic! Our server brought out salsas verde y roja and they were flavorful! I order the caldo de res, and if you want taste and comfort in a bowl I highly recommend! Wonderful experience!

Great little place to have a very good meal and relax in Cullman I was really impressed with all the different choices on the menu . We had a appetizer to start and it was very large and really tasty to hold everyone ov sr till our meal arrived. The speed of our service and arrival time of our food was a pleasant surprise. Knowing the number of parties that were there it was outstanding and the food was delicious. I had a steak and it was cooked to order and very tender and . tasty . It was my first time eating there and I was with my daughter and het husband eho recommend it and they made a very good choice and I will return again as I frequently go to Cullman and be on my list of go to places for a quick and good meal

The food was really good! Had excellent service. Had sirloin steak with loaded baked potato. Spouse had the same. Got 2 appetizers. Mozzarella wedges and the spinach artichoke dip, both were good. The fries are good too (Dad tax) Finished up with cheesecake. Zero complaints.

First time eating here and everything was great! Our waitress, Danielle was amazing! She made awesome suggestions and was very friendly and had a positive, upbeat attitude! Hands down the best waitress I’ve experienced, probably ever. Highly recommend the loaded fries and the cheesecake!!!! Was the best cheesecake I’ve ever eaten. Everything is made in house! Will definitely be back here again!

Got their catfish with fries & slaw, & their tartar sauce was different & so was the slaw, but it was all delicious! Also got their artichoke/spinach dip & it was the best I have tasted in a long time! Super friendly staff & clean.

Have not ate there in a while. And chances are I won't be going back. Ordered wings and sweet potato fries. Both were extremely greasy and the wings skin was rubbery..not crisp. I asked if that was their norm and was told "I believe so." The fries were absolutely horrid tasting and I if I had been eating them blindfolded, I could not have told you what they were as the grease was so overpowering. $16.00 for 5 wings and small portion fries. And I also dislike they charged me a quarter for small condiment of ranch dressing. If your eating a meal, that should be complimentary or at least first couple. So waste of $20.00 by time I left tip for waitress. She was actually not bad. She shouldn't have to suffer cause the food stunk.

This place was beyond amazing i would have never thought from the outside this place was going to be so amazing!! Great service, very clean, and food was fresh and delicious!!! The dinners are huge, and worth the price! Our chef that cooked for us, in front of us, was excellent, and funny!! Dinner and a show!!!

One of my better hibachi experiences! I really like that this place will allow you to split a hibachi between 2 people for just an $8 up charge. You still get a huge portion. That is a huge selling point at this location in my opinion. All of the staff we interacted with were very accommodating and efficient. Quick drink refills. Fasted chef I’ve had as well, if that is a plus for you. Mushrooms were flavorful and broccoli was fresh. Definitely not my favorite ginger salad; it could have used way less dressing and it’s not a good ginger dressing compared to others I’ve had. BEST ONION SOUP ever though!! 😍 Steak was cooked perfectly and filet mignon is not much more expensive. Noodles were good, rice was great. I’d also recommend the spring rolls- incredibly fresh and flavorful. I’d absolutely come back.

5 stars- here's why: Our waiter, Robert, was excellent. Kept our glasses full. Very attentive, but not annoying or distracting. The food came out quickly and steadily (and in the proper sequence) after we ordered. Not a long wait at all. The food was exactly what we ordered and how we ordered it. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Great overall experience! 👌

Ave Maria Grotto, located on the grounds of Alabama's first and only Benedictine Abbey, is a 4-acre park featuring over 125 miniature reproductions of shrines, churches, and buildings. These intricate works were crafted by Benedictine Monk Brother Joseph Zoettl using materials donated from around the world such as broken marble, bathroom tile, colored glass, and more.
✨ A truly peaceful and inspiring day at Ave Maria Grotto 🙏 Located in a beautiful, serene setting, this holy place left a deep impression on me. Walking through the Mini Jerusalem and exploring the many detailed replicas of historical temples from around the world felt like a spiritual journey in itself. Every corner of the grotto tells a story and reflects faith, dedication, and history. It was such a meaningful visit — a day filled with reflection, admiration, and awe. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a spiritual or cultural experience 🌍⛪💫

fantastic and unique space! I was very slow with my walk around the property as I was taking photos of the miniatures as well as the gorgeous nature. I was the only one there at that time which made it quiet and serene. There were people there working on keeping up on the maintenance of the spaces which was good to see. I will say that bug spray would have been smart, I got bit several times. The gift shop is also great if you are wanting some things with that feel.

A wonderful outdoor experience with miniature scenes carved into indigenous stone from religious and around the world. The creator and artist was truly talented beyond believe. A must see!

The Ave Maria Grotto is a testament to the incredible work of Brother Joseph Zoettl! Brother Joseph was a Benedictine monk from St. Bernard Abbey, and it’s one of the most amazing miniature works I’ve ever laid eyes on. The detail he poured into it over the year is truly magnificent!
Md A — Google review
An interesting place to visit. Make sure you watch the video in the gift shop before you take the tour. It is definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area. Make sure to visit the gift shop. The monks bake wonderful cookies.
Roderick P — Google review
I got there just 30 minutes before they closed for the day. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful miniatures. So much work, time, and talent obviously went into these.
Theresa S — Google review
I only had time to walk through the miniature displays but would have liked to have walked the grounds. I had my baby in a stroller and that is easy to navigate, however they do not allow wheelchairs. The miniatures were quite impressive. I probably spent less than 30 minutes here because I was only passing through. That’s plenty of time to see everything but you could walk through at a more leisurely pace. They have a senior discount of $8 which was nice! There’s also a gift shop.

My Daughter, My mother, and I went here just to spending some quality time together because we never get to do that. I myself absolutely love this place alot 😁 we got to sign up for a drawing and we are keeping our fingers crossed and hoping we will be one of the lucky ones to get our names drawn. This place gets a 100 from us.

Wasn't near what I was expecting. We was out going to different flea markets and started in Collinsville. Then to here. Only seen one vendors and that was like comic book stuff and other small collectibles. But really wasn't worth my time driving but from Google was supposed to be a really big place but it wasn't.
Thad A — Google review
We came here bc we wanted to rent a booth but saw the reviews. Won't be renting but managed to buy a few items . Some of the things are old and out dated. Like the huge pack of batteries we bought for $6 they aren't good for anything except maybe a remote that's not used often. And 2 boxes of tasty cakes that was close to expiration date but not past it, was stale and I had to throw them out. I think its the climate in there that made them stale bc it's hot and humid. Did find good deal on pull ups and cosmetics. The tool shop had some things we needed too. Its worth a stop. Might find something you like.
Sabrina B — Google review
While I have never been one to frequent flea markets, I can see that this one could be improved. A lot of the ceiling needs touching up, and walls could use some refurbishing as well. The bathrooms most of all need a lot of work. At least one of the toilets does not flush at all, one of the urinals was out of service, the baby changing table looked more like a liability, and the smell of long-dead rat was prevalent; aside from the obviously water damaged ceiling. Aside from that however, this location has a lot to offer. There were food vendors, clothing, infant toys, antiques and glassware, hand woven items, military gear, furniture and electronics, video games, decorative flower arrangements, jewelry, and knives and axes.

Water park
We had a group of two moms and 4 boys ages 8-9. We had an absolute blast. The park is very clean. There were many attractions to keep the kids happy. We had pizza and it was yummy also!
Lauren B — Google review
Very clean and nice place to swim. At first I thought the price was high but given all the slides, wave pool, and kiddie area I thought junk the price was well worth it. The staff were friendly and the slide lines went fast. Only negative was lack of bathrooms.
Nicole P — Google review
We had a time!!! We chose this waterpark to visit first… and it was a good deal. Friendly attentive staff.. great lifeguards… as an adult I actually enjoyed the kid area.. although there was a LOT of people there for a Wednesday, it made it no less fun! It was hard to find shaded seating and it would be nice if there was a place for parents to sit by all of the big slides.. but the tables there were for “dining only”. No outside food or drinks was a little bit of a problem for us because my kid doesn’t eat processed foods and I was uninformed about the choices of dining. They allow you to come in and out freely so we were able to keep her hydrated. Thank you for a wonderful time!!
Jocelynn S — Google review
Kids loved the wave pool! We all had a blast.. Just wish there was more FREE shade, it feels up fast. Pizza was good. Lifeguards everywhere.
Presley W — Google review
I really like the water park . The slides are really fun and the wave pool is so much fun . The only things to improve are : *Add more bathrooms in the park . A lot of people for just 1 stall is crazy . The lines are really long and you waste a lot of time. *The other thing is that most of the people were waiting to get a double yellow for the slide and there were just a few , they should try to consider what is the most popular one and have more of that . *You have 2 options to buy food and for the amount of people they let to get in ,is not enough . You need to wait in the line for about 50 minutes to get something. * If they can put more umbrellas around the park that will be great too. Overall is a good park and they have everything well maintained . I recommend it .
Luis S — Google review
I love this Waterpark. They serve cold alcoholic beverages too, which is a nice touch. I can sit and not worry about my kids running around as there were plenty of lifeguards and it's kinda smaller than other Waterparks. In a good way! I'd recommend this place to everyone. They did tell me if you buy tickets online ahead of time, you save about 5 dollars. Cards only, but you can convert your cash to a card there without problems.
Jessica M — Google review
This place is the perfect size for my two girls. We found this place last year when they were 8 and 9. They simply love it. The food is a little pricey but the overall experience is worth it because entry fee is only like $25 to 30 depending on the day. They love going to the "dive in" movie!
Chris S — Google review
The Grandchildren had a great time and we did too. Not super crowded so there were no lines for all the fun slides. We will definitely be coming back. Also we rented a canopy and that was great!

Nestled in the heart of Cullman County, Stone Bridge Farms is a charming venue steeped in family history and tradition. Operated by Ron and Sarah Foust, descendants of Reverend V. L. Foust, this picturesque location has been a backdrop for countless cherished moments, from weddings to memorials. The newly remodeled chapel offers an enchanting setting that leaves couples and their families spellbound.
In the past 2 weeks I have been to 2 events at Stine Bridge Farms. This venue is so nice. The food was delicious. The parking was not the best for The Pink Dress Bosom Buddy event but once I got parked and in I had a blast!

Amazing place for any event if you can afford it. Tonight's event was great, but $50 for the "buffet" was ridiculously overpriced.

One of my friends had her wedding here this past weekend and it was absolutely terrible. The owner is so so rude yelled at the bride and the mother of the bride because we asked questions. The employees are great and so sweet but I would not recommend that place to anyone ever because of the owner. Pictures below. Comment below please see where it says how long we have the venu

Oh my God! We were told about this place today and decided to jump in the car. It's probably our new favorite place. The buffets are enormous and EVERYTHING was great. We tried everything we could and were amazed. Plus senior and other discounts too. Wish we had spare stomachs to try it all. Deserts were incredible too. You have to go eat at the Farm Table buffet ASAP.

Loved the atmosphere, the food was very good. There was so many food options, it was great for our family party of 16. Everyone got what they wanted and more. Highly recommend. We went on Saturday @2pm and there was no waiting.

Went to see pastor Bob Joyce concert it was phenomenal best time I've had in years, he seemed so experienced like he had done it all his life. He was so relaxed and focused, you could tell he loved the Lord in his songs, his album Salley Home was excellent and when he sang how great thou art had range and projection of a voice few in life have been gifted with, and he shared his gift so freely on that stage ❤.

We take a senior group from our church to Stone Bridge Farms (Sophia's Southern Buffet) annually. Yesterday (June 5, 2025) we took a group of 45 and it was an awesome trip, as it always is! They can accommodate almost any size group, the dining room is huge and the food is very good. There were at least five meats to choose from, a large variety of vegetables, bread/rolls, tossed salad/potato salad/slaw/pasta salad, and at least five deserts. After everyone finishes their meal we always go to the chapel and sing some hymns. The acoustics inside the chapel are amazing and its a real treat! I highly recommend Sophia's as a group lunch destination. They are open for lunch on Thursdays and Sundays. Stone Bridge Farms is also a very popular wedding venue, though I have no experience with an event of that type at this location. But the grounds are beautiful and with the way the staff treats guests to the dining hall, I can't imagine it would be anything but a great experience.
David S — Google review
We had seen good reviews for this place and decided to give it a try — what a disappointment. The buffet food was cold and dried out, more like a cafeteria experience than a restaurant. They make your plate for you, and I couldn’t help but wonder how long that piece of “catfish” had been sitting there. The “steaks” were paper-thin and cooked well beyond done. Overall, it wasn’t impressive for the price, and we’ll most likely not be returning..

Goat Island Brewing, located in Cullman, Alabama, is a brewery founded by four friends with a passion for crafting exceptional beer. Their dedication to using the freshest ingredients and refining recipes has resulted in an impressive selection of brews. Visitors can savor award-winning options like the Richters Pils, a German/American pilsner, and the Sipsey River Red. The family-owned brewery offers a warm welcome and an intriguing backstory behind their creations.
Goat island usually always has the latest "to know" on their projector if they dont have a band playing. It's hit or miss on if there will be alot of people, but to me its underrated. They have a very wide selection and not just beer if your not a beer person.

We stayed here as a harvest host in October of 2023. The staff was great, location was perfect for a nights stay and the entertainment was amazing! We were lucky enough to see The Natchez Trace Band. Beers were great as well.

We came to stay at their brewery as part of the Harvest Host program. We enjoyed the atmosphere and beers so much that we added it as a regular stop on our RV adventures out this way! We also learned they do "tap take-overs" in Northern Florida, and we will definitely go and drink more great beer! The staff was so kind, helpful, and caring! It was our first visit, and they made us feel like regulars! We even played a few rounds of Singo!

Fantastic night at Goat Island. A large selection of beer, had a food truck out front. Then we had the pleasure of the band. A cover band called 347 got on stage and rocked out all night. The lead singer is incredible. Her vocal range is extraordinary, not overly loud. The drummer, lead and bass never missed a note.

Steak house
Ledger's Steakhouse and Grille is a Southern-style restaurant situated at the 186-acre estate of Stonebridge Farms. It offers an extensive menu with both indoor and outdoor dining options. One of the must-try dishes is the Slow Cooked Pork Tenderloin with Hickory Bourbon Glaze. The restaurant provides great service, a pleasant atmosphere, and an amazing salad bar. While some found it a bit chilly inside during summer, the outside view was described as very pretty.
Wonderful experience - maybe out of the way, but wonderful experience. We just missed the live music, but the food was excellent! I had the Delmonico ribeye, she had the stuffed chicken; we started with the crab dip - all outstanding flavor, hot and tasty. They serve a full glass of wine!! We’ll definitely be back!!

First trip there was absolutely perfect. Steaks were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The next two trips were disappointing except for the salad bar. Steak looked great but had absolutely no taste. I hate it because the first trip was perfect. Then two bad trips in a row. I was contacted by the staff at Ledgers and had a very good conversation. I'm going to try it again after talking to the staff. Hopefully back with a gleaming review! Finally made it back to Ledgers. The salad bar was great as usual. The Delmonico was cooked perfectly and had a very good taste . Baked potato with butter bacon was great. Really happy we came back. Looking forward to the next visit!

We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, food was delicious, the service was great!Meagan was our server and she rocked it!! She made sure our food was just the way we liked it and kept coming back to see if we needed anything. Can't wait for the next time!!

My wife and I went for brunch on Sunday 6/22/25. We went early, at 10:30 to start off our wedding anniversary celebration. London was our server and she was fantastic. Great personality and really piled it on with genuine conversation. I noticed her doing that with other tables, as well and she seemed to be getting the same appreciation from those guests, as well. She is, without any question, the best server that we’ve had in north-central Alabama. This was our first time here and many reviews mentioned the salad bar. We are not salad bar people, but it was, indeed, an impressive salad bar. It is the main decoration feature when you enter the dining room, right in the center. I thought that was weird, but if that is what you are after, you’ll love it. I had the prime rib French dip, which was better than one would think a hot sandwich would be, though the presentation was not great (smooshed and griddle grease on the top of the bread). I’m a big fan of French dips and always order one when I see it on the menu. I travel across the country for work and have had hundreds. I rank Ledgers’ French dip in the top 5 of all time (Nothing compares to the French Dip at Hillstone in Scottsdale). Anyway, it was solid and the steak fries were also quite good. My wife ordered pancakes with bacon and a side of scrambled eggs with cheese. She enjoyed everything, though she really was interested in the chicken and waffles, which they did not have available for some reason. We also had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, which was a huge order (8 thick slices) and they were really, really good. I ordered a Moscow mule to drink, which was quite good. My wife ordered a poinsettia, which the bartender mistook for a vodka and cranberry, but it was quickly corrected. I won’t say what it was, but we were given a complementary gift for our anniversary that was unexpected and very appreciated. Overall, our experience was exceptional, with London being the real key to the experience. We will definitely be back. If anyone reading this is worried about some of the steak reviews, I cannot comment on the steaks, as I’ve never had a steak here. However, please notice that many of the lower rated steak reviews are from people ordering well-done steaks. As a 25 year veteran of the restaurant business, my belief is that if one orders the kitchen to destroy the very dish that the establishment is known for, one gets what one deserves. By disregarding such reviews, I had my best service experience in probably 11 years.
Chris T — Google review
I took my mom here on Thursday for an early mothers day meal. My mom ordered the 37$ steak and my 2 sons ordered steak as well . My mom and older son steaks had no flavor at all. My youngest sons had to be recooked it was far from well done as requested. The service was good, and the salad bar was great. Overall though for a steak house I wouldn't go back based on the price and the lack of flavorless steaks !
Stacey W — Google review
This review is based on the food, the service was fantastic. The grounds the restaurant is on, is exquisite, as is the seating area inside the restaurant as well. We had brunch, and it wasn’t very busy. For appetizers we had, loaded fries, ahi tuna, crab dip, and fried green tomato’s. For entrees I was able to sample the filet Benedict, prime rib Benedict, chicken and waffles, the red fish, and ribeye. The good: crab dip was good. The fried green tomatoes were some of the best I have had. The red fish was really good and the ribeye had a great sear and taste. The bad: The Benedict’s were some of the worst I have ever had, very little hollandaise, and the eggs were poached hard. The meat in the bennys were both overcooked to death. Chicken and waffles were lacking spice. The tuna was bland and the fires were a soggy mess.
Houston H — Google review
This saddens me to redact my previous review of Ledgers but the food has been nothing like 6 months ago. My last four visits have been horrendous. The steak quality has been tough and way too fatty. The style of grilling has changed drastically and the meat has a grease like taste which is not pleasant to eat at all. The “hand battered” fried shrimp taste like frozen bag shrimp with a tough texture. The loaded cheese fries tasted old and undercooked. I sent them back and a new order came. The new order was hot but still tasted stale. All of the pictures are from 6 months ago so if you go compare your food to mine and you should see a major difference. I hope the owner finds this review and fixes the issues because the building is beautiful and Cullman needs a good quality steakhouse.
S D — Google review
I have recently had to switch my diet to gluten-free. I asked our server about a GF menu, she was new and said she would go ask someone else. The chef, Dakota, came out and explained that if I wanted anything fried that he had rice flour and he could accommodate my diet restriction. We had fried mushrooms as an appetizer and I had friend shrimp. Items I thought I would not be able to eat at a restaurant again. Both were very good.

The restaurant has been recognized as one of the best regional chains in the country by various experts. Visitors have praised the excellent food and service at this location, with particular mention of friendly staff like Melanie and Jason. The menu offers fresh salads and various smoked meats that are always good.
Always friendly staff, food is great! My favorite salad of any restaurant. I get smoked chicken and my salad I can eat off of for two days. I eat in and it’s clean and delicious. The drive thru is not as fast but for good food I don’t mind waiting, it is smoked meat, that takes time to prep and serve correctly. If you have never had a pig in a potato then you’re missing out. A great place in town to eat.

Not that this place needs good reviews to get business. The food here was fantastic. A 10 being the best good I've had in my life they are overall a 7 or 8. Pulled pork is great solid 8. The lean brisket is about a 7. The cheese cornmeal briskets are 9.5. The Mac and cheese is like grandma used to make 9. The greens are 8 or 9 as well. The place is popular so you may find you have to wait but it's definitely worth it.

So we are frequent flyers with Jim and Nick's and we visit different ones. But the Cullman, Alabama location is our favorite. I had the new nachos with pork on it we added the honey habanero bbq sauce along with fresh jalapenos which we had to order those separately and it was phenomenal.

Jim n Nicks has a decent menu and I believe they stay within their wheelhouse of what they can do well. The salads are fresh prepared and the various smoked meats are always good. I’ve heard the wings are good but have never had them. The bartender Jason was super friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and organized. We had the ribs and loaded baked potato both were plentiful and service was super fast. Isabelle kept our glasses full and did a great job on keeping us happy. Update July 2022 - We sat at the bar and had a good lunch. Pig in the garden is always good. Service and food was good. Staff very friendly as usual. Update Oct 2023 - We visit at lease once a month and sit at the bar where Jason the best bartender takes care of us. I finally tried the wings and while they tasted good (honey habanero) they didn't have the heat a chili head like myself likes On the negative side a couple of them were a touch undercooked. Def do not want to see pink inside a chicken wing. Ordered as crispy I assume they just missed that. I’ll definitely be going back. Urban Cowgill March 2022 updated May, July 2022, Oct 2023

If you're on the hunt for a delightful BBQ experience, look no further than William's Barbecue. This charming eatery serves up an array of mouthwatering American dishes, including perfectly smoked meats, burgers, and even catfish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely meal with family or friends. Despite being short-staffed during my visit, the service was exceptional—shout out to Autumn for her attentiveness!
William’s Barbecue is the BEST BBQ around. The Brisket will blow your mind. I also recommend trying the honey fries. 👍👍 The server, Leah, was kind and friendly. The food came out fast. I came on Friday and the inside is SUPER CLEAN and pleasant with ambient music playing (and thankfully not too loudly). There’s plenty of large tables and booths to have business lunch meetings or a night out with a large group. Williams BBQ checks all the right boxes ✅ so I’ll be back frequently. I also heard they do catering so I’ll try that for our business or church in the near future.

Food was good, Service was excellent considering they only had one server/hostess/cashier/busser/carryout tech. Autumn is the House Specialty, she is doing everything but cooking, and she might be doing that as far as I know. Not sure how they run a restaurant like this, but Autumn is AWESOME SAUCE.. The vibe was kind of like everyone there new Autumn was the only waitress, multi tasking, and I'm sure, like me, they didnt want to burden her with asking for things like more drinks, or anything not absolutely necessary. It's not comfortable eating out when you feel like that. The blame goes to the owner for not staffing the place properly. I'm from out of town, so I won't be back, but if I was a local I also wouldn't be back.

Sherry is the best server!! The food was delicious! Definitely recommend the pretzels, Peaches n' Scream burger & the BBQ Brisket sandwich! Also their potato salad is so unique and tasty!

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Williams barbecue yesterday. They were a little short staffed, but our food came out hot and our server, Autumn, was amazing as she had told us in advance what the situation was so we just had it nice time visiting until our food arrived. She was very attentive and the food was great. Definitely try the white sauce because it was amazing! I love mom and pop types of restaurants and this one was not a disappointment. The atmosphere was great and we were not rushed to leave. Highly recommended.

Usually I don't really complain but this time was unacceptable. Truly horrible way of serving loyal customers, I've eaten here plenty of times without this mess is why Im giving 2 stars

Wow! I dont usually review! Very impressed with the new salad bar! Super clean and quality food presented! No brown lettuce like I just had in a steak house salad bar! Unfortunately I have had some bad experiences around town with some supposed great places to eat!... Autumn my server is great... she is young and dont let that stop you.. very personable and on top of things! but this one has been great no matter when I come in! He had the smoked wings, which were fantastic. Big wings. I have the meatloaf, which was very good. Also, the okra was really good. The mashed potatoes were weird. It’s like they had vinegar in them. I didn’t need them. We started with a salad bar, but then canceled that because the eggs were off color and other Items did not appear fresh. The staff was very friendly, but our waitresses hands really needed to be washed. Thank you for the lunch.

Established in 1934, All Steak Restaurant is a beloved American venue known for its carefully sourced meat, fish, and fresh vegetables. Originally founded in Tennessee and later relocated to Cullman, Alabama in 1938, this restaurant has become a cornerstone of the area's dining scene. The menu features a variety of steak cuts cooked to perfection, alongside other delectable dishes.
This restaurant was the best place we have found to eat in Cullman Alabama. Service was top, food was beyond delicious. The steak was perfectly prepared, along with everything else we ate! We will definitely return to eat here again.

All Steak did not disappoint! Highly recommend trying the Porch Chop or the Wagyu—both were outstanding. Everything we ordered was incredible, but the bread pudding stole the show…hands down the best I’ve ever had! The orange rolls and regular rolls were also fantastic and such a nice touch. Our server, Kole, was amazing—so kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I can’t wait to go back!

We were traveling through. We had the filet and it was perfectly cooked. The orange rolls are divine, and the take out service was 5 star. This is food that will literally melt in your mouth.

First time here. We went to try the prime rib, since Longhorn no longer serves it. Our neice and nephew came in from Iowa with the purpose of finding a good prime rib. Guess what? We found it! Very very good and we will be back, the 30 mile drive was well worth it! Annnnnd our server Mark was the best, thank you all!

We had an incredible experience at All Steak! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, clean, and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive, but our experience was truly made unforgettable thanks to our awesome waiter, Laney! Laney brought such a fun and vibrant personality to the table—literally! She was upbeat, engaging, and made us feel like we were longtime friends. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she kept us smiling the entire meal. As for the food—phenomenal! Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Between the excellent food, clean and welcoming environment, and Laney’s top-notch service, we’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!

This is such an underrated spot to go an cool off in the summer. I'm actually hesitant to leave a review, hoping it stays a quaint little place. It has the historic bridge of course, but also a restored mill, dog trot style cabin, and beautiful pond. I've spotted a huge snapping turtle in the pond, small fish in the creek, and the landscaping is done with native plants, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were other wildlife around. I've gone to this place since I was a kid, it's a great place to take kids to show them some history

Very nice!! Great place to enjoy with that special someone in your life, the whole family (including your doggies) I assume all dogs should be on a leash, for protection of other people amd animals. But a great place for ya dog to get to go down to the creek and take them a cool, playful, bath/fun. Last time I went I actually went alone,, I needed some peaceful time alone and so Clarkson covered bridge is where I went. I brought a chair, sat it in th creek laid back and enjoyed. Amd that's not eeven covering a big part of it. Kiddos and adults usually LOVE walking across th historic covered bridge, as well as the other scenery that's there to take in. Very clean and peaceful place. I plan to take my small dog there today, weather committed of corse. All and all I give if an A++ Needles to say, if you happened to b close, stop bye if you haven't saw it. I wouldn't think you would be disappointed!! Maybe I'll c ya there someday.. 😉 ❤️ Also,, a question they asked me bere on maps was, would u buy tickets in advance. NO tickets needed, not that I've ever saw or heard of.. ❤️

Beautiful Bridge on land that is even more beautiful. The surrounding area is wooded and there’s a very nice little stream that runs under the bridge. When there hadn’t been much rain in the area the water is very low in the creek, but it’s still very nice. This is a great place to take photos. Once a few years ago my family and I had professional family photos done here and they turned out great! There is slot of posted information that is educational and informative such as “ where does my wastewater go”. This is a very nice Alabama day trip, for a beautiful sunny day. Keep in mind it’s not a large public attraction with a heavy flow of visitors, so you won’t find a restaurant or snack bar and you won’t need a tour guide, but it’s for sure worth the drive if you’re within an hour or less from the location. If you’re passing by the area you certainly should stop by and see the beautiful bridge and land and snap a few photos. If you enjoy nature and the outdoors, this is right up your alley. They have a cabin rental available just check the website for more info.

Smith's Farms Country Meat, established in 1955 as a small roadside stand, has grown into a nationally recognized producer of Southern-tasting products. Using traditional family recipes and techniques perfected over the years, the farm offers a range of delicious cured pork products such as bacon, ham, and sausages smoked with real hickory wood. In addition to their traditional offerings, Smith's Farms now also provides beer and wine options along with daily-prepared smoked ribs, chickens, and butts.
My wife and I went there today to pick up some items on our Christmas shopping list. Very good selection, good prices, and the people that work there are excellent! We've been there many times and we enjoy it every time. We drove two hours to get there today and picked up several varieties of cheese. Lots of smoked meat, cheese, pickled stuff, and fudge - who wouldn't like it?
Tom M — Google review
I ordered about $100 worth of items to be delivered to my daughter for Christmas. Unfortunately FedEx left the package on a busy city street where it was stolen. After several attempts to have FedEx cover the loss under insurance, I was told nothing could be done. So, I figured that if I tried to redo the order, perhaps with a minor discount to cover my $100 loss, and request that it be delivered with signature required where I could move on. The manager call me back and stated that they are not able to discount things, so before I could finish my statement of being dissatisfied with that response and moving on to seeing if they could at least ship with signature required, the manager hung up on me. Looks like they have a nice assortment of products, but their customer service and addressing problems is poor at best and the reason for my one star rating.

We love going to Smith Farms. They have a wonderful assortment of different foods and products that you can buy. Our family loves the popcorn kernels that they sell. We have loved everything we have bought here!

I have purchased meat here twice. First time the sugar cured smoked bacon was great. Second time it was more SALT cured and not good. We cooked some yesterday, didn't eat more than one piece, my husband told me to throw out the rest. Inconsistent , After driving over an hour and spending over $100 I will skip it. Also customer service could be improved, both times checking out felt like I was bothering the cashier. It is still customary to greet a customer here in America.

Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center

Event venue
The Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center is a spacious and well-lit indoor venue that hosts a variety of events, from rodeos to graduations and circuses. The facility is well-maintained with ample parking and clean restrooms. While the seating arrangements may be tight for some events, the staff provides efficient service during gatherings. It's recommended to bring a stadium seat for added comfort.
This is the first good rodeo I went to. Very interactive with the crowd. The show was great! I will be back if there is another rodeo.

I definitely don't like the seats, however, next time we go, we will take paddings to sit on, really loved the entertainment that night
Tracie D — Google review
Came here for the graduation of our daughter. The center is what you would a event center in the middle of nowhere to look like (no offense intended to the residents). There was plenty of parking, the bathrooms were clean and the wood benches did what wood benches do. Wouldn’t plan my wedding here, but would rent for a car event or mini rodeo or military ceremony!
Benjamin S — Google review
Went to the Loomis Bros. 🎪 CIRCUS! Had a blast wonderful show. And it was indoors! Very clean, and bathroom provide as well. Also clean. Just great family fun time!
Katie K — Google review
We enjoyed our last visit. The facility is a clean as it can be for an inside arena. There were plenty places to park and plenty of places to sit. One word of advice I'd like to share is that the people a business, or entity, sits at the entrance is representative of what is inside whether they correctly represent it or not. We didn't come to see the person up front but people who act in disgust over something unrelated to specific customers does not leave a good taste in out-of-town visitors. If there ever is a misprint about an event at this facility, please make sure the person that sits at the very entrance does not bite your head off for noticing that everyone is paying and specifically mentions the advertisement and asks how much we owe. Please make sure that people representing swallow their attitudes. We, fortunately, knew there was a bank we passed on our way to the arena and were able to go and retrieve cash. I wonder how many other people left in response to that person's attitude? We drove some distance to get there and we almost decided to go somewhere else. On the flip side, once we were past the gate keeper, everyone was kind. The rodeo was fun and interesting. We've recently purchased a chunk of land to raise horses and our daughter has been interested in riding horses since she was 3. We've come to love rodeos, have been researching participation, and travel to watch. When we met Abree and Michaela, those girls were so kind to our daughter. They offered to take a photo with her and really engaged her attention. It is the kindness you find at southern events that keep us wanting to continue the tradition. It is a clean venue that keeps some people coming back but, for us, it's customer service.

Lumis Circus was very good. Intermission was pointless other than getting more money for 15 minutes

We visited for the annual Sheriffs Rodeo but this was my 2nd time being at this location. The grounds are clean and very well maintained. The building is spacious and very well lit for indoor events. The seating arrangements are kind of tight but it is manageable. My suggestion is if you own a stadium seat, bring it with you. During the rodeo the staff on hand moved quickly and effectivly provide top service to all patrons. We loved our time there and look forward to future events held in that space.

The Cullman County Museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich heritage of North Alabama's German colony. Visitors can explore exhibits on native heritage, the Civil War, and Main Street in the 1800s. The museum showcases artifacts and photographs including clothing, currency, pottery, and arrowheads from various Native American tribes that once inhabited Alabama. Colonel John G.

I have very little knowledge about Cullman, Alabama. After visiting the Ave Maria Grotto, our family decided to stop and learn more about Cullman in the Cullman County Museum. It was a worthwhile visit and very informative. The person who spent quite a bit of time with us was very knowledgeable about local history and a genealogy researcher as well. The German influence on Cullman is extensive and named after a man who emigrated to the area in the 19th century. Cullman County is younger than the State of Alabama. During the War Between the States, there were Union sympathizers who participated in the war as well as a larger number who were in the Confederate Army. The flags on display in the museum reflect some of this history as well as some of the documents on display. The museum also had an impressive display of arrowheads created by tribes in the area and a brief summary of some of the Indian history in the Cullman area. Overall, this museum is a resource for the community and well worth a visit.

Southern Accents Architectural Antiques is a renowned destination for architectural antiques in the South, offering a vast and diverse collection of unique items. Founded in 1969 by Dr. Garlan Gudger, this store has become a treasure trove for enthusiasts seeking salvaged architectural objects. From wooden doors and mantles to door knobs, crown molding, wrought iron pieces, and antique signage, the showroom and outdoor lots showcase an array of artistic items.
Very interesting place to browse very unique collections of decor, hardware, and items removed from old buildings. Free cokes and water while you shop. Nice ppl. Recommended

What a neat store! Truly a salvage place. Old solid doors, fire place mantles, chandeliers, boards, trim, all kinds of door hardware, shutters. It's all there if you like the good stuff from days gone. Will be back when in Cullman. Easy to find off 65 and to park.

Amazing selection, everything is super well organized for such an enormous amount of stock. The sales lady was able to tell us exactly where everything we needed to look for might be. The prices were great for the items we purchased and Sandy was so friendly and welcoming. It’s the best place that we have found for unique vintage or antique architectural pieces for our projects.

Although this place is really neat and had some great Architectural Salvage, it is way overpriced. They could sell twice as much inventory if they would cut some of their prices in half. Some items like door knobs were priced comprable to what I have seen in many other stores but everything else was extremely high. Much higher than I've seen in other stores of which I have been to many

Saint Bernard Abbey, established in 1891, is a Benedictine community with a rich history dating back to the 1840s when monks from Germany arrived in America. The monastery offers tours and serves as a venue for retreats and conventions. Additionally, it houses the Ave Maria Grotto, featuring 125 sculptures of cities and religious buildings from around the world created by Brother Joseph Zoettl. The abbey also includes St.
We visited to attend the Christmas light display at The Ave Maria Grotto, but this review is for the delicious Benedictine Brothers Bakery which has items available for purchase in person or online. We purchased the cinnamon raisin bread which has been delicious toasted, and taste tested with both cream cheese and butter/honey. Don’t miss this the chance to support their efforts and enjoy quality baked goods.

A very quiet, calm place. The chapel is beautiful with warm stained glass, giving it a yellow hue. We're going to go back for prayers and mass one day. The Ave Maria Grotto is a fun little walk, seeing all of the work Brother Joseph put into it with minimal resources available to him. It's definitely worth spending an afternoon here. Dress appropriately, please. Shoulders and knees covered.

Was there for a wedding. I can not put up incense, and the bride did ask for no incense at the wedding, which was honoured. But prior to the ceremony, some Monks were there and burned incense, and the incense lingered. I had to wear a mask at first but by the time the wedding began the smell had disapated.

If you're on the hunt for a genuine taste of Southern barbecue, Moe's Original BBQ is an absolute must-visit. This laid-back chain specializes in Alabama-style pulled pork and other smoked meats that are prepared right on-site, ensuring every bite bursts with flavor. Located in Cullman, AL, Moe's offers a delightful array of classic sides and mouthwatering sauces that pay homage to the rich traditions of Southern cooking.
We had a party of four at lunch one weekday day and found Moe's BBQ friendly and comfortable. The facility while older was clean and functioning well. The staff is friendly and I think its kind of order at the window and seat yourself. They have a nice open outdoor courtyard that would be great when the weather is cooperating. The indoors portion has a nice bar along one side with large tables in the middle and booth seating on the other side of the space. There's a window for ordering and a self serve soft drink fountain. They even have a small stage for live music. We had a salad with smoked chicken. The fried catfish and sides were delicious and and the Fried Green Tomato BLT was out of this world. Dont forget the smoked wings, very tasty and well cooked, not under cooked. All the food was tasty and served well. So dont go here expecting fancy service or white tablecloths, but it will be good solid Southern style BBQ that tastes great. Service was good from the window thru the back of the house and on out into the front where runners bring your food to your table. Bathrooms were clean, stocked and functional. If some of you folks traveling South want a taste of Southern BBQ here's you chance. Its only 6 minutes from I-65 Me, this is near home and I will definitely be going back!

Really cool spot in downtown Cullman. You order at the window in the back of the restaurant which wasn't super clear on our first visit but we figured it out. I had the Burnt Ends and my Wife had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and honestly they were both "just ok" I know that sounds a bit harsh but there was no smoke flavor and the BBQ sauce had an unusual taste. The Mac and cheese wasn't anything to write home about either. It was all good it just didn't really stand out. Overall I would probably come back as the prices, portions, and atmosphere were all good.
Blake C — Google review
Atmosphere is fun with plenty of tv’s to watch sports and a decent size bar though we didn’t order anything. Southern Fried Shrimp was good and had lots of pepper on it. The ribs were a little tough and dry. Macaroni and cheese and green beans were the favorites, definitely recommend those! Potato salad was good though could use more potatoes due to all the other ingredients added, very crunchy. Jalapeño cornbread was good!
Kimmy G — Google review
First time visiting. They upcharge an already pricey kid's meal ($9.50) for an adult to order. I asked if the $1.50 upcharge was a penalty and she said, "yes." When they brought our food out, all I could do was chuckle. The sides came out in the tiny plastic cups that they give medication from at an insane asylum. Pickle is for size reference. I got a broken piece of cornbread that so happened to be the other half of someone else's in my party. You don't even get your own piece of bread! The meat portion was very sizable and delicious.

I have been going here for a good while and have always enjoyed the chicken nachos. I hate to say it but I will not be returning. This is the second time I’ve received awful service here. I ordered two chicken nachos and a water and a sweet tea. I was charged a regular drink price for the water. I went to get some sweet tea and I noticed they were out. I went up to the counter to see if they had any in the back, and the cashier refused to come up to the counter. The cook in the back had to motion to the girl there that I was there. I politely asked for sweet tea and she gave me a rude look and told me to go to the bar for some. I went up to the bartender and she looked very confused that I was asking for sweet tea. The BARTENDER had to go get sweet tea made. Is that not the job of the girl that works in the food area? After all that I was sitting at a table waiting for my food with my table marker. I noticed people that had ordered after me got their food before me. My food had been put on a random table and just left there. The cashier apparently noticed that there was a bag of food on a table THEN she brought it to me. When I asked why my food was not brought to me (I had a table marker) she very rudely told me that to go orders are put on that table like it was my fault. The people behind me weren’t at that table. Their food was brought directly to the table they were sitting at. This is the second awful interaction I’ve had with the exact same employee on two different occasions. She has no business being a cashier if she’s going to be rude. She needs to go. I will miss the food, but she has ruined this entire restaurant for me.

The staff was very nice, first time taking my family in to dine, however we all ordered and I ordered something small, and by the time I received my food my family had already been half way done with their food and the chicken I ordered wasn't how it used to be nothing but grisle and they gave my son a what looked like a crumb of corn bread we had to wait forever to get. The only good experience we had was that the staff was nice and did their best to fix what issues they had control over and the atmosphere was good.

Our large family is from Arkansas, traveling home from Florida, and we stopped in on our way home. Family friendly! Staff was so nice. Very welcoming! It was Thursday at about 7pm, no wait, food was amazing, even the kids menu. Everything, EVERYTHING was good. It was karaoke night! The kids loved it. The giant "viking" table was perfect for us. Large outdoor patio area was also neat. This place is great, we will be stopping here every year on vacation.

This Moe’s location is really cool with the front of the building converted to an awesome outdoor patio. The smoked wings were awesome, as they have been at any Moe’s I have visited. The bartender was extremely friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back when in the Cullman area and craving smoked chicken wings.

Diners rave about the quick service and the deliciousness of their meals; many have enjoyed hearty salads loaded with fresh toppings or comforting dishes like stuffed baked potatoes.
I met these wonderful women at a fundraiser event. I got a sample of their chill. Very sweet and savory with a nice bite afterwords. My co worker tried their potato soup. She was extremely amazed as well. The wraps were very fresh and cleansing as well. Overall good experience. I highly recommend .

Sweet Peppers is always a stop on a trip to Cullman. The food and service are always great. The chips and rotel were a great starter. The pick two option allows you to pick two half items, and it is a great way to try new things. The Mediterranean Panini and Waldorf Salad were really good. The potato soup in a bread bowl is also a great option.

Quick service, fast paced atmosphere. Great place to grab a quick bite and go, but felt a bit rushed. Not by the staff but by simply being there for long. Start was everywhere, and very courteous but a bit spread thin it seemed. Good food, but nothing immediately exceptional. Pleasant taste, pleasing appearance.

I met my Mom & Aunt for lunch last week. The food was served quickly and was so delicious. I had the salad and it had lots of fresh, yummy toppings. Everything was really delicious. The employees were great and very sweet. Unfortunately the table was very sticky-the table next to us too-so our arms kept sticking. Maybe the cleaner? Anyway, will definitely come again.

Great food! I had the Philly Flatbread and gumbo. The staff was very nice and attentive. We waited in line for just a few minutes (not an outrageous amount of time at all, and they were busy!) and they brought us free dessert! My kid had the bbq chicken nachos and they were also very good.

Barbecue restaurant

Nestled in the heart of Cullman, Johnny's Bar-B-Q is a cherished family-owned establishment that has been delighting locals since 1949. This no-frills BBQ joint prides itself on serving up mouthwatering smoked chicken, tender pulled pork, and their famous loaded baked potatoes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for families looking to enjoy hearty meals without breaking the bank.
First visit to this place after several friends recommended it. It was even better than they described. I had a hamburger steak with grilled onions and brown gravy and it might have been the best hb steak I've ever had. Others had catfish fillets, whole catfish, ribs, and Brunswick stew. Everybody thought their food was very, very good. The service was excellent and our server joined right in when we were giving one of the guys in our party a hard time. Then more of the staff stopped by the table to pick on him too. Just a fun place, with really great food. Worth the drive from Huntsville for something different. Highly recommend!

Delicious and our waitress was so nice. We came to see Ave Maria Grotto and saw the parking lot full and that's our indication that food is great, and it was. My 9 year old daughter attempted to eat a pulled pork sandwidge the size of her face and amazingly got 75% of the way through. It was excellent BBQ and the most perfect french fries. My husband got the pulled pork plate and cleaned that sucker. Hope to go back next time we have a chance.

We came down to Cullman to see a museum and visit a few farmer's markets. Johnny's wound up being the call for lunch. This is a long-standing bbq restaurant in the area. The parking lot was busy when we arrived for lunch around 12:45 PM, but we found a spot easily enough. A sign instructed us to seat ourselves when we walked into the restaurant. We found a booth and a waitress came by with menus shortly after. They offer chicken, pork, or ribs in plates or on sandwiches, as well as a few other bbq favorites like Brunswick stew and loaded potatoes. Somewhat uncommon compared to your average bbq restaurant is they also serve fried fish. My parents both got bbq pork sandwiches (dad with fries, mom with onion rings) and I got my safe-food for bbq of unknown quality: a loaded pork baked potato. We all agreed the pork bbq was decent to pretty good. Nothing mind-blowing, but not overly fatty and pulled into nice-sized pieces. We enjoyed the slightly thin sweet bbq sauce. The onion rings were great, but the fries were really not very good at all. They were very soft and soggy and undersalted. I don't think any of us had more than one or two of them. My potato was a good size and mostly cooked well, except for a few small mealy bits at the very bottom. I liked the copious amount of sour cream on the potato, though in a perfect world I could've done for some more cheese. Sauce was served on the side, which was good since I don't like sauce on my potato. The sweet tea to drink wasn't super flavorful but it was passable. Our waitress was prompt with our food and ticket but otherwise not very friendly. Overall, this was a serviceable lunch experience. We all agreed it was about worthy of 3 stars, so here we are. The bbq itself was probably the best thing here, as it should be, but it's not among my favorite bbq in the Alabama area.

Busy place at lunch time. Good food, service was quick and pleasant just the way I like it. I had the loaded pork potato.

Usually we have a good experience when we get the to-go orders. The pork family pack was fine and tasted good. We ordered dessert this time and my wife's lemon icebox pie was pretty much just a wad of meringue. Not the best experience.
Dewey S — Google review
The potato was good , but the lady at the register wanted to charge more for extra barbecue sauce, she said on to go orders you have to pay more, but if you eat it there you don't, so I sit down and ate it there. Her attitude wasn't very good at all especially after that, but the food was great !!

I had a gift card and wasn't sure how much was on it. They were so nice and didn't mind helping me. The customer service was so wonderful. I hope you can look at this entry and see who was working and really reward them. Good employees make a good business.

These guys rock. The power just went out in south Cullman and everyone seemed to flock to Panda Express, myself and kids included. I saw nothing but teamwork and great attitudes! There were a bunch of online orders at one time and they still managed to get to everyone in a timely manner.

We stopped at this location on our way out of town, and were disappointed. When we walked inside, there was only one worker trying to fill numerous online orders and one other worker doing the cooking. We waited at least 10 minutes before she could take our order and there were a couple others behind us as well. We received our food, and it was not very warm at all. While eating our food outside, the same situation that happened to us before we ordered - happened again, except the line now had 10-15 people waiting to be served. The women’s restroom was also dirty. Meanwhile, as basically one worker was trying to fill online orders as well as serve those in line- what looked like the store manager/or another worker (I’m not sure) sat in the corner of the restaurant on her phone. I would have expected that worker to help the poor girl who was trying to fill so many orders by herself, or at least clean the place because it was not clean. We will not be returning to this location. But I was impressed with the girl worker who was trying to do the job of 2-3 people with a good attitude.
Savannah G — Google review
Walked in to such a dirty lobby. Food looked really Old and unappetizing. Employees don’t wear gloves when serving food which is concerning, asked to speak to the manager but was ignored, could see she was on her phone not wanting to speak with me. What happened to this place. Used to be very nice and clean. Don’t think I’ll be back…

Camping grounds, a playground, a pool & fishing pier for families, plus famous July 4th fireworks.
We tent camped in site 56. The site was clean and mostly level. Each site has power, and water was close by. Bath houses were ok and mostly clean. Our really only complaint was there were not any hooks on the walls to hang your bag in the shower stalls. 1 of the 2 stalls has a bench you can set your bag, that's the one you want. The water pressure was great. Staff was nice and helpful. The office has anything you may need that you forgot.

Nice park. Well laid out. Area for RVs, cabins etc Picnic area and restrooms. Hosts community events like the Smith Lake Community Garage Sales which we attended. Their website boasts 9 cabins, 219 full service sites; 5 water and electric sites; and 61 tent sites. Eight pavilions, playgrounds, a pool, fishing pier, a huge stage for special events, and a new boat launch. We definitely plan to check that out this coming summer
Julie H — Google review
The pool is reasonably priced and clean. There are improvements that could be made, but for the price it's a good value. My main complaint is with the teenaged staff. They don't seem to appreciate their jobs and are apathetic, bordering on rude. Some act entitled and inconvenienced by patrons. There is a need for serious work on customer service. Otherwise it was an enjoyable experience.

River visit: It's spread out water front ,grass and river bank. Little shaded area ,made up of a few pine trees in a couple of spots with flat wide mowed area between trees and run off ditches. A lot of room to throw a ball ,and plenty of parking. No charge , low key, swim at your own risk in the river. They do have a pool same area, but I haven't been to it.
Dustin G — Google review
We had last minute cancellations at a park for a birthday party..... I was told to contact Smith Lake Park to see if they had anything available. When I called they was very polite. When I went up there to pay for the pavilion they was still very nice and polite, they also was very helpful with the questions that I had. The day of the party all of the kids had fun, there was a playground area with slides, swings, etc. I noticed the day I paid for the pavilion and went to look at what I rented that The playground was on the small side. There is a lot of open area though so I took a ton of different balls...... The kids had enough room to play football, soccer, kickball, etc. All in all it turned out to be a great place to do a child's birthday party, only rated 4 stars because the playground is on the small side

We come to this park at least 3 times a month, and will continue to visit the beach for swimming. I’m only giving it 2 stars because they have a really big problem here. The beach is littered with trash, Even though there are Plenty of well placed trash cans. I have People throw empty beer bottles and cans in the water and on the beaches. Management doesn't seem to care that this is happening, and I end up walking the beach every time we go, picking up a whole lot of other people‘s trash. There’s broken glass in the rocks on the beaches, and people fish in the swimming area, so I'd warn anyone to make sure to put water shoes on kids at least... There’s a lot of sharp litter under the water as well. It would be a great place if they'd actually pay attention, but just yesterday I ended up swimming halfway across the lake to get a bunch of beer cans someone down the beach dumped in the water. Someone else on the beach saw who did it, reported it, aaaaand nothing happened....
Taylor W — Google review
Super fun for the family! Yes it is a lake so you will get the squishy between your toes, but it is clean warm and great for swimming. There is a large access to the lake here and plenty of places to rest on a grassy bank in or out of the shade. They also have a little convenience store with brochures telling you were to rent a boat or jet skiis, camping availability and much more. There is a put put golf course and a pool on site. You can also launch your water craft here. We went on the 1st Monday in August and it was pretty dead, us and maybe 3 other families. The pool looked fun and had a lifeguard, but we stayed in the lake. The lake water was actually warm and we did not get attacked by little fish or anything. The grass was well maintained and pretty free of bugs too. This is a great place to take the family. They do have signs that say no dogs fyi.

If I could leave no stars I would and that says a lot. My husband and I come from a background of customer service. We are also very understanding that sometimes people aren’t having the best day so we are always polite and respectful. We called at 8:55am with some questions on stones and what products they carry. We are in the process of building a subdivision. The lady the answered started with an attitude. My husband asked about the first stone in question and the lady that answered the phone said they no longer carry that. He said do you know anyone that does? She said no. He began to tell her what we were in the process of doing and that we were looking for all kinds of stones. She said well we don’t deliver and hung up. He called back and asked if there was something he said that upset her. She said I have people here I’m helping and we don’t have what your looking for and he said I understand but I’m looking for a big range on things not just that one thing I started asking about and I never said I was only looking for delivery. She said I don’t have time to speak to you and hung up again. I’m not sure if she’s the owner of this company or not and if she is I can’t imagine how much business has been lost based on her attitude. The way we we’re treated was undeserving. I feel horribly sorry for the company if she’s just a worker and the fact that she thinks she can decide who deserves the companies business.

Gas station

Mobil is a charming destination that offers more than just fuel. Nestled near the historic Fort Morgan and Fort Gaines, which were strategically built to safeguard Mobile Bay, this area is rich in history. While Fort Morgan was completed in 1834 and saw limited military use, it played a crucial role during the Civil War when it defended Confederate interests against Union forces.

I had stopped to use the restroom and didn't think anything of it bc I had always used that store since I can remember as a kid. I'm telling you when I walked in, I was IMMEDIATELY disgusted. There was blood splatter all over the floors and walls. It smelled as if the only cleaning that they had done was pouring pinesol down the floor drain. The floor was disgusting. And I thought I would catch a disease just being in there. I've loved this store for many years, but I will not buy anything ever again from them. I don't know what all contamination they have going on.
Sarah R — Google review
I tried to pay inside and the worker refused to run the transaction. I think there was a misunderstanding, but he said that he would have to call his manager. I asked him to do that and he wouldn’t. I was really low on gas and me having to leave and find another open gas station nearly left me stranded. Definitely will never be back.
Fred — Google review
DO NOT BUY VAPES FROM THIS STORE! THEY HAD A DEAL BUY 2 GET $6 OFF AND I WENT AHEAD AND BOUGHT THEM AND ONE WENT OUT IN 15 MIN, THE OTHER AROUND 5 HOURS OF USE, WHEREAS I CAN GO 4 DAYS WITH A 3000 HIT KANG VAPE. I SHOULDVE KNOWN BETTER THAN TO TAKE THIS DEAL BECAUASE IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I USUALLY NEVER BUY MINE FROM THERE, BUT I WAS IN A HURRY AND THIS WAS THE CLOSEST GAS STATION I COULD GET TO. IF YOU WANT A REPUTABLE SELLER OF VAPES GO TO THE MARATHON ON 278. (THE OLD JET PEP).

The service wasn't good. The meat in the taco and burrito tasted funny. The refried beans and rice were good. There was one girl working there that stayed on her phone the whole time instead of helping. It's been awhile since we've been there. And looks like it will be a long time before going back if we do.

The food was delicious. However the SERVICE was TERRIBLE. Kimberly was the waitress and from the get go she was snobby. She acter as though we was an inconvenience just being there. Not one time did she smile. Then when she brought the ticket I asked her to split the ticket but instead she still tried to hand me the ticket as one. When I went to pay the ticket and she snatched the money out of my hand. This is only my third time eating here and everyone was very nice Except Kimberly. My only complaint besides her, are the cushions on the bench seats. The cushions need to be replaced. There are so cracked and dried out that they was hurting the back of my legs.

Had an online order, went to pick it up and was informed they couldn't make the shake. They are soo freaking small now!!! There not worth the $2+ tax either!!! I would like it replaced with good chicken, but that's not going to happen!!!

Hank's Sports Bar & Rumors Deli is a delightful neighborhood gem that offers an inviting atmosphere with its quirky decor and outdoor seating options. This beloved spot has been serving the community for over 20 years, providing a diverse menu filled with delicious sandwiches, soups, and cafe favorites. Breakfast croissant sandwiches and lunch Paninis are just the beginning; their wraps, salads, and kid-friendly meals ensure there's something for everyone in the family.
I didn’t like my sandwich as much as I thought I would. I would be open to coming back and trying another sub. The guy who I place order was great. Mellow atmosphere. I enjoyed my company and conversation. It’s spacious and plenty of seating. I went during lunch. I plan to come back in evening for bingo and other activities. My side salad was different. I saw ramen on the salad menu and decided give it a try. Portion was small for a side but enough to get the essence of pepper taste. 👅 I’ll be back

Great environment. Always good music and the best dirty Martinis! I heard rave reviews about the burger. It wasn’t as superb as I expected. I’d say it was just an average burger. The muffuletta was wonderful! You don’t come across a really good one often, so it was a treat! My husband is from Wisconsin so he’s a cheese curd fanatic and he approved of the cheese curds appetizer from Hanks. It’s a breath of fresh air for Cullman. Everyone is friendly and hard working and it seems they’re doing a great job taking care of business at this sports bar. The atmosphere decor and theme is on point for a laid back local spot and I love that they keep it clean and how they recruit highly talented artists to perform.

We had lunch here the other day and were surprised. The interior was well done and clean. They had a couple of side rooms that looked like they could be sectioned off for an event. The bar is large but also looked inviting. My first visit here and had to look over the menu a few minutes to decide. We had the “hot topic” which is a spicy chicken wrap. It was surprisingly good. It was toasted and all melty kind of on the inside. Spicy yes! We also had the Italian salad which was fresh made and tasted good. We will be going back. Sit at the bar next time! Great place to go on Sunday after church. My wife and I love it. Lots of options on the menu. All of it delicious. If you get an appetizer, the boudin balls and the sauce they come with are fantastic.

Really liked their white mac & cheese and their Mouth of the South sandwich was pretty good too, had everything on it. Would definitely eat here again. Looking forward to trying other menu items!

First time trying this place. I got the Reuben with German potato salad and a cup of beer cheese soup. The potato salad should have stayed in Germany. It was potato with bacon, not a little to no mayo. It may be authentic I've never had German potato salad. Nothing against it just not for me. Beer cheese soup was good and the Reuben was delicious. Although I think these were part of their Octoberfest menu and I believe today is the last day for it.

If you're on the hunt for a cozy dining spot that serves up delicious Italian cuisine, look no further than Grumpy's Italian Grill. This family-friendly eatery is a local gem known for its homemade dishes, ranging from mouthwatering thin-crust pizzas to hearty pasta options. The menu also features American favorites, making it an ideal choice for diverse palates. During my visit with family from Louisiana while exploring Alabama, we were greeted by friendly and attentive service in a clean and comfortable atmosphere.
Grumpy' Italian is a hidden gem in Cullman! The service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was *chefs kiss* delicious! MUST TRY if you're in the area! I recommend the Manicotti with Cheese Bread!
Yasin H — Google review
Pizza was great not so much for the chicken Alfredo. Very swampy, wet sauce. Literally no texture like water down under the top layer of cheese. My partner even suggesting pouring some Parmesan to thicken the sauce which end up being a fail. I was very disappointed. I end up picking the chicken and didn’t finish my meal. If my partner didn’t order pizza, I would have left still hungry. He even tried my Alfredo and notice the noodles was cry. Sauce was bland. I would not recommend the Alfredo. I did enjoy my first ever lemon drop. Spacious environment. Local restaurant.

Best pizza I’ve had in a long while! It’s a must try for the cheese sticks with blush sauce. And the strawberry pretzel cake was divine. Macy was a fabulous server, just covered in awesome sauce! Cold pizza leftovers were perfect. Will definitely come back and often!!!
Angie M — Google review
Excellent customer service! I ordered cheese bread and a small meat lovers pizza. It was all really good and the small pizza would have been enough but I wanted to try the cheese bread. Definitely recommend and will be back when I'm in the area!

My sister, parents and I came from Louisiana visiting Alabama and came across this Italian restaurant. The service was excellent, friendly and very helpful👌 the cook was fantastic. The place was clean. The atmosphere was so comfortable. The food was superb. So tasteful. Cooked to order. The pasta dishes came with garlic or cheese bread that melts in your mouth and the flavor for the bread and food is the best that I've had in I don't know how long. If not the very best I've ever eaten. Grumpy's chips and dip appetizer is a must try. Reasonably priced with left overs for later. Well worth traveling for to go eat at and try this gem of a restaurant. Feels like home when your their. Great experience. 👍
Julie G — Google review
The food it not true Italian, the Alfredo tasted like gravy that you put on biscuits and the garlic bread had barely any garlic and the manicotti had bell peppers in it. YUCK. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Shaelyn S — Google review
Looked this place up on my travels in the South, stopped in to see what it was all about. Ordered the "all meat" pizza. It took a while to get the order, the waitresses were good about keeping my Dr. Pepper topped off. One waitress was very courteous, whilethe other was all business. The pizza was very good, sauce tasted homemade, the dough wasn't dense and cooked perfectly, just a light crispness to it. All ingredients tasted fresh, the bacon had a good flavor to it. The little place had a good atmosphere as well. All in all not a bad place, just not super fast. I give it a thumbs up.
Beachboy — Google review
This is definitely a hidden gem. It’s very open and southern. The staff is great, friendly and very helpful. All the staff helps you not just your waitress. The food is great so come hungry. Don’t be in a rush because the food is made to order. They also have the best marinara sauce I have ever had in my life, that’s saying a lot because I have had a lot. I will be back for some tasty food and friendly service very soon.

Nice clean playground with Music and climbing elements, 3 seat rotating swing, 2 slides and turf ground cover. The park also has 2 shallow creeks for wading. Lots of seating for adults. Lots of green space for picnics. Great for elementary age children.

This park is a four generation, family tradition, a lot has changed, but it's still there, I do wish they would add more play equipment for the littles, besides the 5-12 year old area that only has slides and a climbing thing, please consider replacing the swings and other playground equipment y'all removed, thanks, signed, a registered voter and someone who cares 😊🔥

The place was super cute, however there needs to be an added window unit or something. I know we had the party on one of the hottest days in June but the little air unit they had wasn’t enough to keep the little house cool. We were sweating for the whole 2 hours we were in there. There was also a slight odor of dirty diaper when we first came in the place.

The festival itself was nice, but the food vendors ruined it for us. Absolute rip off on the lemonade. $17 for freaking tap water, with a tiny bit of lemon flavor and sugar. Worst "lemonade" I ever had. The price would be acceptable, if it were GOOD lemonade, like Chic-fil-a, but this was terrible. Everything was so over priced. Just blatant highway robbery. Cullman needs to put a stop to it. It would be a nice event, except for the robbery.

Cullman Oktoberfest is a vibrant annual celebration that takes place in the first week of October, honoring the town's rich German heritage. This lively festival invites visitors to indulge in authentic German cuisine, including mouthwatering bratwursts and pretzels, while enjoying live music and traditional dances. The event features a variety of activities such as a classic car show and even a bratwurst-eating contest, ensuring there's something for everyone in the family.
Such a great event in a German town. Beautiful decor with tons of great festivities. The stein hoisting challenge is always a hoot. Best brats on the planet. A great item to add to your “Octoberfestivities” checklist.

They need to expand the space out.. it is so crowded you can't move and you are standing in line for an hour for one glass of gluhwein.. they have all the roads surrounding the depot park closed down so they could easily make some space so that it is more enjoyable. It was much less crowded last year..

Really missed the gentleman that serves the authentic German food this year and only found out to late that he was serving from a private venue on the other side of town because of covid. But had some dunkle enjoyed the weather and music and went home to cook and enjoy some red cabbage kraut and yager schnitzel
Sloane T — Google review
This event is more of a town festival than a traditional Oktoberfest celebration. We went on a Saturday and there was no traditional German music. The beer was ridiculously overpriced. I think it was $8 for a 16oz plastic cup. I’m surprised Goat Island and Sam Adams didn’t tell the event coordinators they didn’t want their beer sold at that price. It only perpetuates the myth that craft beer is too expensive. The main dining area food was good and was traditional German fare. But the rest of the food wasn’t German at all. It was just what you’d get at any old carnival. I’m glad we brought our own pretzels. Only a handful of others were dressed in Lederhosen and Dirndls. I probably won’t bother with this event again.

The Festhalle Farmers Market in Cullman, Alabama is a highly anticipated event that showcases the thriving agriculture industry of the city. Housed in the state's largest timber-framed building, this market provides a vibrant and weather-resistant space for local farmers to display their colorful array of fruits and vegetables. Visitors can expect knowledgeable vendors offering an assortment of products including homemade soaps, fresh berries, and sweet peaches from nearby farms.
They have a great variety of products. They have a family that sells mushrooms there and they are so helpful and friendly. We go and buy lions maine ground mushroom from them. That is the best to add to your food and it really helps dogs with joint pain. My German Shepherd mix started having problems getting around he has been on it for a few months and she is like a young dog again running around and playing. It works on the nervous system. We took some to my nephew who's Golden retriever has seizures to help with his seizures. If you Google lions maine mushroom with will want to contact this guy.

Visiting family from Atlanta and learned some Roswell Christkindlmarkt vendors were here as well so definitely wanted to check it out. Super easy parking around the park, plenary of food and retail vendors, ice skating rink, things for kids, the awesome tower/pyramid, it was all great. Nestled in the heart of downtown Cullman, the Busy Bee Café has been a beloved fixture since 1919, making it the oldest and longest-running restaurant in town. Originally known as Ford's Café, its charming name was inspired by a bee hive that once graced a nearby tree. The café boasts an inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience—even for those arriving just before closing time!
Loved it! Places like this are getting harder to find. I like to support family owned places when I can. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Will definitely come back when I'm out this way. Oh and save room for a fried pie.

Service was great. Plenty of seating. Right in down town Cullman. So you can venture over and look at Weiss Cottage and the chapel. My friend and I both got hamburger with fries and one chicken finger(We wanted to try the chicken). Something you should know and they probably will tell you but in case they don’t, these are meatloaf hamburgers. They aren’t quite like the meatloaf you make at home they are heavier on the other ingredients rather meat. The hamburger was different and I am glad I tried it though. I would love to come back here for breakfast one day. January 31, 2024

The Downtown Grill is a popular spot in the heart of the downtown area, known for its laid-back ambiance and diverse menu. It specializes in classic grill dishes such as burgers, BBQ ribs, and a range of draft beers. Customers rave about the pulled pork sandwich and house-made BBQ sauce for their authentic smoky flavors. Although currently under construction, it is expected to reopen soon. Visitors praise the juicy mushroom Swiss burger and generous portions of fried banana pudding.

We stopped in the Downtown Grill for lunch on a Friday. We were seated right away. Cierra took good care of us by checking on us as well as keeping our glasses full. The place is clean but it is lacking atmosphere. It could at least use something on the walls. I got the mushroom swiss burger, and my wife got the patty melt. Both were very good. The burgers are made fresh in-house and are cooked nicely. The fries were also very good. The atmosphere is all that kept us from giving it a five. We will eat at the Downtown Grill again.

Normally we have no issues when we eat here but today was the day. Everything was cold. Our chicken wings had broken bones sticking out. My salad was pathetic. Just lettuce with a sprinkle of cheese and 1 little buffalo chicken finger cut up over it. We were also missing an order of fries and our extra ranch. To be as pricey ($70) they are you’d think they could at least quality check their food. Very disappointed. Make sure you check your food before you leave and drive back home.
Bryana H — Google review
The place itself was very cute and family-friendly. Now. The service was meh. Not bad but not the best. It's what you expect from a younger server. Then, the food. The only good thing I had was the seasoned loaded fries they do. It was extremely good. But, then I order the chicken Philly so disappointing. The veggies seem to be cut and heated in the microwave then thrown on a broken torn-up bun, the cheese was thrown on at the end. Just slap it on there and call it a day type of thing. I informed them how I felt and they took it back just to Sautee the stuff, a bit to melt my cheese and heat the veggies. Only to put it back on the same sorry, destroyed hot dog bun. It was very disappointing. Needless to say, I took 3 bites and called it a day. I was so looking forward to trying this place and heard nothing but good things about it. I am not sure if I'd be willing to give it another shot.

The food is amazing....they have delicious dishes and appetizers..but seriously the people that run this place are amazing and kind and good and I think the food is so good because they cook with passions and love. The sushi is also incredible and I totally recommend the House Roll..even if you do not like sushi normally you gotta try it because it is deep fried and cooked plated gorgeous even for take out...I mean these folks are amazing ❤❤❤

Sushi was warm. Good kind of tasteless. Hot and sour soup. good. Beef with mixed vegetables was ok. Not the best not the worst. Staff ok. Sushi is expensive. Prices especially for sushi have gone up significantly.

We had a fantastic dinner at this wonderful family-owned restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with kindness and hospitality. The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious! We could tell it was made with care. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We truly appreciate the friendly service and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Chinese food and a great dining experience!

The food was delicious especially the sesame seed chicken it was nice and hot. My brother had the sweet and sour chicken and he said it was really good nice and hot and fresh, the only thing was he wasn't impressed about the egg roll he said it was small. It was the size of a kids egg roll and not the adult size egg roll. But overall GREAT everything

The food was undercooked, never had this problem before but the beef lo mein and beef chow mein looked and tasted old, wontons were old as well. The cashier had a nasty attitude after I asked nicely for a refund. Never eating here again

I have mixed emotions with this place. First impressions were awful enough we almost left. Hunger won and we stayed. There were several tables that needed to be cleaned and the whole place could have used a good wiping down and maybe a paint job. Seating wasn't conducive to small groups and 2 of the 4 chairs at our table were terribly uneven. The food, however, was really good. It is Americanized Chinese, but quite well done and flavorful. We did not order sushi, so I can't say about it. I would suggest getting take away orders. I put 3 stars on service because of the lack of care on cleaning tables and sweeping floors, etc.

Ordered the tso chicken with noodles, honey chicken with broccoli and fried dumplings. Both the chicken dishes taste & look the exact same and were bland, chicken itself was very chewy. The dumplings were burnt on one side and rubbery on the other side undercooked. Everything tasted way under seasoned and not worth it.

The people are great. Friendly and give wonderful service. I had the sesame chicken. It tasted very good but it was very tough that’d to chew. My wife had the moo goo Gia pan. The flavor was a little off but not too bad. Egg rolls were good. They do not serve tea. The bathrooms were dirty as well as eating area flooo.

Pizza delivery
Domino's Pizza is a popular delivery and carryout chain that offers an extensive selection of pizzas along with a variety of other delicious dishes and sides. Whether you're craving a classic pepperoni or something more adventurous, Domino's has you covered. On a recent visit to the Cullman location, I was amazed by the efficiency of their service; my order was ready in under 15 minutes on a bustling Friday night!
Best dominos in cullman! Got my order done in less than 15 minutes on a Friday night at 9pm when they are usually super busy. They did forget my chicken on one side but it was a complicated order and they immediately made me a new pizza! All of the pizzas were beautiful and delicious!

We order this pizza all the time and they mess it up every single time. It's not that hard just add the Buffalo sauce! We have complained numerous times, it never helps!

1 star food, the pizzas WERE med. We ordered the special 2med/2toppings for 6.99 each. When asked how we would pay, we said cash and a 10 dollar gift card. After the gift cd. was cashed the balance was 11.90. ????. We explained our order again. Same result. The counter person didn't seem to understand. Since the card was cashed we would lose it,In order to avoid retribution in the making of our pizzas we paid. The time from order to finish was timely. The pizzas were, well they were med. Dismal amount of toppings, had to add to them to be worthwhile to eat. What we see on tv ads or salespapers is not even close, have had better store bought frozen pizzas for less cost. VERY VERY disappointed. Will not be back.

I have been ordering from this dominos for many years and have never had any major issues with my orders. I always get the pan pizzas and ask for them to be well done and square cut and they never do. I always have to cook it longer and cut it when I get home. Tonight I ordered 3 pan pizzas 1 was fine but the other 2 were not, barely any toppings on the cali bacon ranch and the Hawaiian was soggy in the middle. I called dominos and the manager Matthew didn’t seem to care not one apology or offer to fix the problem I think he was just trying to get off the phone and said that they will credit my account $10…but I will not be back!!!

Ordered my pizza inside the store and watched who worked the hardest. Nick surpassed them all. He caught ci workers’ mistakes left and right all while working harder than all of them. Really an impressive sight. He was also polite and kind. Btw, pizza was fantastic!

We are staying at the Sleep Inn & Suites near the Dominos and ordered the pizza twice, once on Friday and one on Sunday and both times the pizza was bad but the second time it was even worse when the pizza was almost an hour late, the first time the pizza wasn’t cut deep enough and same with the second time we ordered square cut and it was a half and half with pepperoni and cheese but it was more like a three and one fourth with the three fourths being the pepperoni which was bad since my grandma has a dislike for pepperoni which limited how much she could eat of it after eating an early lunch and a late dinner.

3rd time that a pan pizza with 4 toppings had raw dough. 1st time, I was told because I had 5 toppings and it doesn't cook as well. Okay...but for 20 years, 2 States a 1 foreign country, no problem with 5 toppings. I did receive a free pizza for my complaint. I also started having just 4 toppings like today's order and I checked off "well done." You can see how doughy it is in my picture. No, I don't want a free pizza. But I think the thermometers of the oven should be checked for accuracy.

I normally am very satisfied with Dominos and it’s service but today we decided to try the chicken bacon ranch…. DO NOT!! the bacon is “precooked” and looks like tomatoes. Squishy and just gross. We took it back and asked for one without bacon, still received with the raw and nasty “bacon”. do not recommend.
