This is great place for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Had breakfast here a couple of times and the food and coffee were really good. I particularly liked the Turkish poached eggs a little different and very tasty. My wife thought the pancakes were great. Highly recommend it.

We came here for a birthday breakfast on a beautiful Jervis bay day and found this to be one of our new fav cafe’s! Beautiful calm atmosphere, delicious food and quality coffee and lovely service. Especially from Charlie who we loved chatting to and even brought out a little bday treat! Thank-you!

The fruit toast is very good, well worth it! The eggs on toast, however, are not toasted and come with too much butter (maybe it would be better if the butter came on the side). The avo side is just a piece of peeled avo, not prepared in any way. The service is great and so is the atmosphere.

Dog friendly Cafe in a friendly town. We had breakfast. The table service was quick and efficient. Cold table water was provided and the food portions were generous. Highly recommended 👌

Our Whale Eco Cruise on a rainy morning was absolutely unforgettable. Our staff (Capt Hamish and Paula) were delightful - friendly, pleasant, informative and funny. ☺️ We wound up being blessed with a curious pod of three (including Mom and baby!) that swam around us for a good long time after boat motor was cut and we were just floating along. Loved every rainy second of it!

We had a whale of a time!!! An unforgettable day. Heaps better than we expected. Whales were popping up all over the place but the big surprise was the cliffs. Wow. If you’d just come to see the cliffs you’d be deliriously happy. They were sensational. The boat and crew were great. We had good food and coffee at the very comfortable wharf. Happy people were everywhere. Bravo Jervis Bay Wild! Spectacular! Thank you.

A Must-Do Experience in Jervis Bay! We’ve travelled to Jervis Bay 3 times now specifically to go whale watching with Jervis Bay Wild, and once again, they did not disappoint. The crew are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their commentary strikes a great balance between educational and entertaining. We were lucky enough to spot a couple of pods of humpback whales, including calves, and they stayed around long enough for everyone on board to enjoy the moment without rushing. Traveller Tip: Even if it’s warm on land, bring a jacket (preferably waterproof). We went out at 1pm on a 26-degree day, and I was still grateful for my cardigan once the sea breeze picked up. Better to be prepared so you can relax and enjoy the view. If you're considering a whale tour in Jervis Bay, don’t hesitate. We'll happily be back again.

I went on the Jervis Bay Passage yesterday, and it was absolutely AMAZING. What a fantastic experience. The sun shone, the sea was calm, and just sailing around all the Bay was wonderful. As we went by areas of interest, our captain gave very informative and interesting stories. The high cliffs by the lighthouse were spectacular. When we saw a Sun Fish, he drifted back so that we could watch it. Nothing was too much trouble. We saw a few seals too and the dolphins greeted us back into harbour. An experience I will never forget. Thank you.

Fantastic afternoon. Saw lots of whales. Even had a pod surface about 10 mts from the boat. We also got up close to the Jervis bay cliffs and cave systems. Really beautiful. Small boat but this got us up close which a bigger boat wouldn’t have. Friendly crew. All in all recommended

Had an amazing time this morning on the Eco Whale trip. Highly recommend!! We saw many whales, even one breaching and closely circling the boat. It was unreal! Saw some dolphins too! The staff were also super lovely and welcoming.Especially Ella who made us feel like VIPs and was so helpful, sharing local info with tourists. Thank you so much for an unforgettable morning! 5 stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a nice cruise experience, filled with pure rainbows surrounding the bay area from the light rain. And we saw some dolphin activity! 🐬👍 Although, I would not suggest booking cruises in the winter, unless you'd like to witness some bright rainbows! It can easily be cancelled due to harsh weather conditions, and our experience was not the opposite. It was incredibly foggy and rainy, abit difficult to capture any sealife, though when we did- it was for a short period of time. Slightly underwhelming to say the least, since we couldn't venture into the open ocean or the cliff sides. Still a nice experience overall, I haven't been on a cruise in many years.

I wouldn’t agree with world famous but the good wasn’t bad. We ordered the Family Basket as there was 5 of us and it had a variety of items included such as fish cocktails, seafood sticks, calamari, prawn cocktails, chips etc for $65. It was a good 10 minute wait after ordering which wasn’t too bad as it was busy. The good was hot and tasty but the batter was a bit greasier than I like and the chips had next to no salt on them, even though I asked for extra chicken salt and we were given a very light smattering of regular salt. Over all, not too bad for the price as the portion was huge but also a little disappointing at the same time.

Pretty standard fish and chip shop that's always busy (but likely because of its location on the main tourist strip rather than because of standout food). The fish is fine, though the batter is on the heavier side, and the chips are just chips. We’ve been coming here for years out of habit/tradition/a weird sense of loyalty, and the quality has stayed the same, not better, not worse. They do branch out with things like chowder, tacos, and burritos and I always appreciate somewhere that diversifies their menu, but most of these items were pretty average as well. I must say though that the prawn burrito looked super pretty and had good flavour, but I was let down because inside there were only tiny pieces of prawns in it and most of the filling was white rice.

The foods were well balanced. However, the long line made the experience feel less enjoyable. The portion sizes were decent, though not quite enough to justify the cost. Overall, it’s a place worth visiting if you’re willing to wait and spend a bit extra for quality food.

Long wait and not super worth it. The battered fish was alright. We got the battered swordfish. It tasted fresh but there was no seasoning so all we tasted was as oil, batter and fish. Would’ve been better if there was sauce or salt or something. The tiger prawns were ok.

A wonderful dining experience in Huskisson. The halal meats were perfectly prepared, and our three-course meal was both flavourful and satisfying. The ambience added to the charm — a place well worth visiting.

We were greeted and shown to our table by the owner. Staff friendly, food delicious there was a mistake made with our order, but it was quickly fixed & staff apologised. The staff explained the process of cooking our steak & seafood on the hot stone and it was delicious. Enjoyed being able to cook the fresh seafood & thick juicy piece of steak the way we like, was perfect. The owner recommended the sticky date pudding for dessert and it was absolutely delicious. Put this dining experience on you list when visiting Huskisson.

We had the $50 3 course meal. Wow! Great value for money and generous portions of food. We had garlic prawns for entree, stone grill rump steak & salad and stone grill beef skewer with prawns $ salad. Dessert was mixed berry cheesecake and chocolate mudcake. It was delicious. Staff were attentive and helpful. Very impressed and will return.

Food was delicious, came out hot and all at once and serving sizes were massive. Only qualm was that it took about half an hour until our food came out, and there were lots of people who came in after us who were getting food much faster than we were. It would have been nice to have waitstaff reassure us that on its way or that it will be a bit of a longer wait.

Oh my goodness, from the time you walk into stone grill and sit down service is amazing! Staff are happy, friendly and busy but they have time to chat and make you feel welcomed! The food is incredible, atmosphere wonderful and happy. You have to go there it’s awesome it was a great place!

Was really appalled by the racist host of this restaurant. He dismissed us abruptly when we arrived 10 min early and when we went back for our 8pm booking, he refused to seat us inside even though we booked for an inside table. He rudely pointed to the table outside saying that’s your table and said “and don’t be expecting any service any time soon”. The manager was nice but did not apologise for his employee’s behaviour. The food itself was average, decent portions but nothing special. I would recommend dining somewhere else.

We had a memorable, interactive dining experience at Stonegrill. The $50 set menu offers excellent value, allowing you to choose an entrée, main, and dessert, with a wide variety of options and generous portions. The chili prawns, recommended by the owner, were juicy and packed with flavor. The calamari rings, served hot and crunchy, were enjoyable, though they could have used a bit more seasoning. For mains, I opted for the steak, while my husband chose the seafood. Both dishes came with a choice of sauce and either a salad or pasta salad. The steak was tender and melted in my mouth, and I appreciated the interactive element of cooking it to my liking on the grill. The salad, however, could have benefited from more dressing. We couldn’t resist the wildberry cheesecake for dessert, which was a perfect, satisfying end to the meal. Overall, it was a good experience, though I felt there were areas that could benefit from refinement, particularly in terms of bolder flavors. If the restaurant leans more into the direction of their standout chili prawns, I believe the future of this establishment holds great potential.

I follow their page on instagram and it seemed like a great place to visit, when I was down from Sydney. It’s ok, I guess. I didn’t have any of the hot food, I just went in last week to grab a chocolate eclair, which had fresh cream in it and was tasty, would love to see the option of custard and cream in an eclair like they do up here in Sydney, and or a chocolate cream inside which is super delicious when you get one done up here in Sydney. I was going to go in for a vanilla slice but noticed the tops of them didn’t have the passion fruit glaze that I love on the top of mine, so that’s why I bought a chocolate eclair instead.

Food is good. Avoid during heavy tourist times. Last couple of weeks service has been a bit off, maybe new owners we suspect but definitely worth waits. Amendement do not order milkshakes or ice drinks. 20 min wait and a reminder to them again. Excellent food and coffees come a decent pace but 3 separate times have finished food before milkshakes. They do taste really good though.

Huskisson Bakery & Café is such a cozy spot — the pastries are fresh, the pies are flavorful, and the coffee is excellent. The place has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a perfect stop for breakfast or a quick snack while exploring Huskisson. The service is friendly and quick, and everything tastes homemade and fresh. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Delicious pies. I tried the pepper $6.80, fantastic and the original $6, a bit salty for me. Fully loaded pies., with rich gravy and good chunks of beef. The toasted ham and cheese croissant was enjoyed and the vanilla slice was an excellent finisher. If in town go here for your pie fix. Very good!

It's an amazing place, but neighbouring beaches are just better, so it has stiff competition. But, it's close to shops. Amazing for kayaking. Advance level due to waves, boats, jet ski, and other things to look out for if you leave the bay.

We were out whale watching at Point Pedicular lots of whales to see

Hot showers, dog friendly, park has its own boat ramp.. (and ample trailer parking) Large powered sites.. clean amenities.. Downside, pool and spa isn't heated. On-site coffee in the morning.. The water craft shown is Hobie Cat MIRAGE TANDEM ISLAND There is a dealership 800m away from the Park.. These are our own craft but you can hire other kayak craft from the office.. Small town 1.8km away has ice cream shop, the rsl club had amazing food, and dominoes that deliver..... Vincettia is a larger town with coles/wooly/kebabs etc but maybe 10kms away... On the water channel it was maybe a 15min paddle to Huskisson, the bay was amazing to sail in.. The parks onsite Staff were extraordinarily helpful taking me to my site and assisted parking my caravan, and were quick to attend anything else that came up.. They have a fire pit and they supply the fire wood logs too... They have one rubbish skip bin at the front gate which is good both leaving and coming back (hide evidence of food)... Would recommend.. Will likely return

Waited half an hour just for coffee, got to 40 minutes and still no food so we asked how long it would be, was advised another 20 minutes. They weren’t even busy so we got a refund and left. The chef looked very unenthusiastic and incapable of going faster. For a place with approximately 30-40 people in it, it should be a lot quicker for service.

Came here for breakfast twice on beautiful hot mornings at the Portside Cafe which sits right on the water opposite the beach entry into Huskisson. The view on a beautiful morning is just divine so location wise is just perfect. The food was pretty good overall but havent tried many of the dishes yet which means i may come back and review this post. We had smashed avo on toast, hash browns, big breaky, a breaky wrap and some juices. They were tasty with a good serving although they arent that big so you may want to order more if you're mega hungry. Price wise is ok but could be cheaper for the portions you get. Check out the photos and the view! We will be back to try more.

I very seldom give a bad review; I can usually find some positives. The one positive here was that my husband's meal was tasty. 45 minutes after ordering I still had not received my meal (hubby had finished his). When it was eventually brought to me, it was wrong and I did not have the time to wait while they prepared a new one. Staff were disinterested and not customer focused at all. It actually pains me to say that I cannot recommend.

We didn’t see the poor reviews until We had ordered, and were pleasantly surprised. The meal and service were both good. Folks should give it a try.

DO NOT COME HERE. We waited 45 mins in an almost empty restaurant. We should have left but were feeding our toddler. We asked repeatedly where our food was and was assured 3 times that it was "coming" or it was "being plated up". I can't believe we accepted the food especially when some other table also made a complaint and left without eating. Food was sad and so was the restaurant. As you can tell, the place was not busy.

We came for a late breakfast and to enjoy the view. Good prices and friendly service. There was a wait for the food to be served but in all fairness we were warned there was a wait when ordering and you could see the staff were busy. Meals were delicious. We had the whale of a breakfast, which had plenty of bacon, eggs, a lovely smoke chorizo, hash brown, tomato, mushroom and spinach on sourdough. Also had the eggs benedict on salmon which had 2 poached eggs with a fresh tasting sauce also. Nice meals.

Food was great. Sydney City quality restaurant food full of flavour. A little bit expensive if you are taking a family to eat but definitely recommend their pizza and pasta. Service was accommodating during a busy night and were treated professionally with food arriving in a timely manner. Atmosphere and decor is lovely and comfortable. Wish more restaurants and cafes in the Shoalhaven region had these standards and quality food. Will revisit for sure as a Shoalhaven resident.

We had dinner here last night with o reservation and it was busy. Table outside was lovely. Between 4 ppl we shared 2 pizzas and 2 pastas plus a rocket salad. The kids loved the spaghetti colognes and we loved the mushroom ravioli. All of the food was delicious and in fact much better than we expected. I would highly recommend and will be back again. Oh and the service was awesome too!

Finally we have a family run authentic Italian restaurant with wood fired pizza and all the trimmings… we’ve been coming here for years through many owners but Peter and Eva have nailed it 🙏 will be back! The lemon sorbet is exceptional ❤️

We always love our evenings at Peter Eva’s and bring all of our visiting friends to dinner there. Last night the food was brilliant as usual but the animated conversations we had with Gabriel (owners son) about our Italian travels was the icing on the cake! He is a gem!

Everything was perfect as usual for my birthday on Tuesday night….my favourite place to eat. Peter & Eva & family are talented & just lovely, with wonderful staff.. An authentic Italian experience with unbeatable atmosphere, very homely & all by the wonderful Jervis Bay. Everyone should get to experience this at least once & if you are a local, this will soon become your local restaurant. Whether it’s a pizza-night (and their Pizzas are THE best wood -fired pizzas around) or if you are after something more, because their Gnocchi, Risotto & Pasta dishes are exceptional…especially the seafood, you will leave happy. A seafood dish & garlic wood-fire pizza with a side chilli oil, finished with one of their homemade Italian desserts is my favourite.. They also have delicious cocktails, wines & good coffee. I could go on & on really, but my whole family agree, Peter Eva and is an outstanding restaurant!.

Beautiful meal and Peter and Eva were delightful and very generous. It rained (not too hard) outside on the footpath and we were forced to finish slightly earlier than we had hoped - and after enjoying two very nice dishes and good wine. Eve was most apologetic and of course it had nothing to do with how nice our night had been and even gifted us a couple of very nice cannoli's which we enjoyed later. We'll definitely go back when we're next in Huskisson.

Pasta Buoy has a unique concept that perfectly matches the relaxed seaside vibe of Huskisson. Don’t be fooled by the takeaway paper bowls or the buzzer pick-up system — the flavors (and the prices!) are far above casual dining standards. The pasta is handmade, super fresh, and pairs really well with the sauces. The service is quite slow, but the dishes come out steaming hot and freshly made. The outdoor seating area is lovely and inviting, though unfortunately, there’s not much shelter when it rains. We tried the Buoy Ragu Lumache — not the most surprising dish, but a solid choice with plenty of short rib, great for meat lovers. The Squid Ink Spaghetti with seafood, cherry tomatoes, garlic cream, and wine flavors was full of depth and easily our favorite of the two.

the Cacio e Pepe Gnocchi and the Carbonara were absolutely delicious! they were rly rich and creamy!! perfectly cooked and so satisfying 💕 highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic and comforting pasta dishes!

Really disappointed with the food here. It's rated so high and was looking forward to some luxury pasta. The first few bites are tasty but as you get through it you realise that the sauce is just almost completely salt and it's really overpowering. We got the pesto and the carbonara, which I understand obviously have an element of salt to the sauces as is natural, but there's clearly lots of added salt which is way too much. For the expensive price you pay ($60 for 2 bowls of pasta), I would expect much higher quality. For the quality you get it's maybe worth $15 a bowl. The pasta itself is good but the sauce leaves a lot to be desired. On the plus side its a nice atmosphere with a great happy hour between 3-5 with $5 schooners.

Food is yummy and high quality for the price. Vibes are immaculate and lovely. Such a beautiful place to catch up with friends over great food. Highlight of my trip to Jervis Bay!

Stopped by Pasta Buoy while visiting Huskisson and was pleasantly surprised. The pasta tasted fresh and homemade, with generous portions and rich, flavourful sauces. The vibe is relaxed and coastal — perfect after a day around Jervis Bay.

Ordered the buoy ragu, Pesto pasta, kids butter and cheese and the garlic cob loaf (it was quite busy so we took the dinner home). The food was delicious, variety of pasta, slow cooked meat and the freshness of the sourdough and pesto, would definitely recommend!

Hidden away at the end of a quiet dirt track just outside Nowra, Paperbark Camp feels like a secret waiting to be discovered. The elevated treetop setting is tranquil and secluded. Arrive a little early and you can enjoy a glass of local Shoalhaven wine by the fire pit outdoors or relax by the cozy indoor fireplace, which immediately sets the tone for the evening — warm, welcoming, and unhurried. The staff deserve a huge shout out, in particular Susie and Violet, who looked after us with warmth, humour, and genuine care. Their attentiveness elevated the whole experience and made the night feel like dining in a good friend’s home. The restaurant has recently moved to a set menu format. While some might miss the choice of à la carte, I found it refreshing to be guided through a menu that encouraged me to try dishes I might not normally order. Here’s how the Winter menu unfolded: Flatbread, Zatar Spice A perfect way to start: warm, soft bread carrying the bold, earthy kick of za’atar. Simple, rustic, and exactly what you want in that first bite. The optional sourdough was also outstanding — crusty, hearty, and served with rich butter. Mussels, Green Mango, Cucumber A bright, surprising dish where briny mussels were lifted by the sharp tang of green mango and the cooling freshness of cucumber. A clever balance of ocean and orchard. Pork Rillettes, Black Barley, Radicchio Described by our server as a deconstructed dumpling, an apt description of this deeply savoury pork, paired with the smoky chew of black barley and the slight bitterness of radicchio. Rich and hearty, yet with enough balance to keep it light. Charcoal Chicken, Roast Alliums, Koji (with rice, sambal, daikon) I’ll admit, chicken often feels like the mundane choice on a menu — but not here. Smoky from the charcoal, deeply flavoured with koji and sweet roasted alliums, it was exceptional. The accompaniments of rice, sambal, and daikon added both comfort and a little spark. Blackberry, Grapes, Umeshu, Granita A refreshing close to the meal. The sweet and tart notes of blackberry and grape combined beautifully with the plum wine’s depth, all sharpened by icy granita. It felt an odd choice for a winter menu but still very enjoyable. Paperbark Camp is a restaurant that surprises you from start to finish. From its peaceful bushland location to the warmth of its service, it feels special without ever being pretentious. The set menu approach works beautifully here, and the kitchen clearly takes pride in showcasing fresh, seasonal ingredients in thoughtful ways. If you’re anywhere near the Shoalhaven, make the short detour down that dirt track. What you’ll find at the end is one of the most memorable dining experiences in the region.

Beware: Said it has Ala carte online but you stuck to a 4 course set menu, they have addressed this constant back and forth change many times in comments. But the bigger problems is the inconsistency and holes in the food. We payed around $245 for a set menu with two non alcoholic drinks. Super small portions but the biggest problem was the mains. Over salted beef cheeks and under seasoned beetroot, the server said it would be an interesting surprise that she hopes we like but all in all it was too salty to eat. Sour dough ice cream was actually a pannacotta that wasn’t set properly and overly sweet. With bread crumbs on top. Restaurant boasts native ingredients with none on the menu. The food was confused and the flavours may have worked but it is the clear the chef couldn’t execute properly what he was trying to create. For that price to get such little food and for it to be so average is very disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at Paperbark Camp. The check-in process was smooth and effortless, setting the tone for a relaxing getaway. The hospitality was exceptional, warm, generous, and genuinely welcoming throughout. One of the highlights was the food: absolutely fantastic, with fresh, beautifully prepared dishes that made every meal a delight. A truly memorable and refreshing experience in a stunning natural setting. 10/10. Would recommend. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

This was my 3rd time at The Gunyah over a number of years and I can honestly say it gets better every time. Our recent meal was fantastic; a delicious set menu of 4 courses, every one of which was sublime and intricate, with excellent service, a good drinks menu, including good non-alcoholic options, and reasonably priced, especially considering the quality. Thoroughly enjoyed spending my birthday here and look forward to visit number 4 already.

Went to The Gunyah Restaurant for a Anniversary dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the service and the atmosphere was excellent and the food was exceptional. It was a set menu (Winter), and the food was fresh, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. I'm not sure about other nights but I can say that going there on a Sunday night for dinner, the atmosphere was just right for a nice cozy meal. The service was friendly and professional with a description of each portion of the meal explained when it arrived at the table. I will be looking at going again on the next special occasion which will be a new menu. Check the menu before you book to ensure it's the right food for you but if it is, I'm confident you shouldn't be disappointed.

Been here a few times for breakfasts and dinners. Breakfast is yummy and great coffee. Dinner was excellent too. My only disappointment was that if you stay for the weekend, the menu options are the same on both evenings for vegans so you have to eat the same dinner 2 nights in a row. The atmosphere is super, staff are so friendly and accommodating and this place is just magical! A really special place for a visit and would highly recommend

Nice little café near Hyams Beach with lots of vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast and lunch. We had the pesto beans and corn fritters—both were tasty, though a bit more salad would’ve been nice. The coffee was great too. There’s free street parking out front and a few parking spots right in front of the cafe, but it can be hard to find a spot during busy times. It's highly recommended to book a table in advance. Hyams Beach and Little Hyams Beach are both about 4 to 5 mins walking distance from here.

At the beachside restaurant with a great view, this place is very popular. I ordered their recommended dish, fish and chips. The taste was okay, but the batter was a bit too thick, which slightly affected the texture. However, this might vary depending on personal preferences.

Popped into the Cooked Goose last Sunday morning for breakfast with my daughter and her partner. Great to be able to say it was a delight: the staff were friendly and prompt, the coffee just right, the food tasty and well presented. Didn't have to wait long to be served, both on arrival and for the food. Reasonably priced as well. Ideal place for breakfast, especially on a sunny morning and the beauty of Hyams Beach a stones throw away.

Absolutely delicious food and fantastic service. The flavours were so well thought out and every bite was spot on. The maple bacon BLAT and Big Goose roll were both exceptional, and the drinks were just as impressive, especially the watermelon spritz. I can’t wait to come back 😀

They provided table service, while the sauce was warm the other parts of the dish were a bit lukewarm and they charged $7 for 2 poached eggs which is a bit much. Probably better just for takeaway coffee.

My husband and I spent Saturday morning with Dane on the sea kayaks in Callala Bay and surrounds. I honestly could not recommend this experience enough, it was one of the funnest things we've ever done! Dane is an incredible, knowledgeable and kind guy, makes for a very fun morning! His homemade morning tea was delicious! Just to top the day off we got to paddle out to a pod of dolphins! He took photos and videos of it all! If you're on the fence about trying this, don't be, incredible! We will 1000% be back soon.

Our tour with Dane was the highlight of our time in Jervis Bay! From start to finish, he made the day feel personal, relaxed, and full of discovery. It was clear he genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience, regardless of what the Bay had for us that day. He shared so much local knowledge about the area, wildlife, and history while keeping everything fun and engaging. The bay itself was stunning, and spending the day on the crystal-clear water and the white sand beaches was epic. I can't imagine a better way to enjoy the water and beaches of Jervis Bay. Dane went above and beyond capturing photos and videos for us, so we could enjoy the moment without worrying about missing a single memory. He provided a google drive folder filled with photos and videos the evening after our tour which included videos of the animals we saw as well. I loved sharing these with my family! When Dane found out my sister and I were traveling down the coast, he gave us a list of must-see places and things to do. We had some very cool experiences that we would have missed out on otherwise because of his recommendations. He also had a list for the area that he shared. I’ve told everyone I’ve met in Australia that this is a must-do experience, and I’ll absolutely be booking again when we return. If you’re considering it, just book and enjoy! You’ll be so glad you did.

Exceptional scenery, even better experience with Dane! Back for the second time due to my 5 year old insisting we go kayaking again it was a no brainer to get back in contact with Sea Kayak Jervis Bay. Beyond Dane's remarkable local knowledge and knack for finding the best beach morning tea spots around (and providing the best cakes), he has a wonderful ability to cater the experience to all. A fantastic way to take in all that Jervis Bay has on offer!

Myself and my 14yo had an incredible day out with Dane. His professionalism, his quality gear, and his deep knowledge of the area were all top notch. Which was a massive bonus for us as we aren’t regular kayakers! He knew where to take us and what to look out for, and we were lucky with to have perfect weather AND to watch a huge pod of dolphins swim and play while out in the water. Could not have been a better day, thanks Dane.

Had such a great morning on the Jervis Bay kayak tour with my 13-year-old son. Dane and Max were fantastic hosts – friendly, relaxed and really knowledgeable. We saw dolphins, pelicans and even a sea eagle, then pulled up on a quiet beach for morning tea. The homemade pear bread and cookies were honestly better than anything you’d get at a café. It was a memorable experience for both of us and a great way to spend time together. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic day out on the water with friends, guided by Dane, who was an exceptional tour guide. We joined a dolphin-watching cruise in Jervis Bay and while we didn’t spot any dolphins during the actual cruise, we were lucky to see one near the jetty just before boarding—which was still a nice surprise! The crew were friendly and knowledgeable, and the boat ride itself was relaxing with beautiful views of the bay. Even without many dolphins, it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon on the water. Would definitely try again—nature doesn’t always follow the schedule!

Crew is amazing and the tour was great. The crew are so caring, constantly asking how their guests are and ensuring that they could see the dolphins swimming near the boat. The tour purposefully and respectfully finds and follows the dolphins to allow everyone a great experience. We had such a good time that we also booked the whale watching tour a few days later. Thanks for having us !! We will be back for more.

Nice and Informative. Dolphin cruise will show you dolphin while keeping knowledge of marine life to know when and how the dolphins will come or interact. Nice crew and a good experience overall.

Amazing experience to be had. Hamish and crew were great. We left it, a bit late in the Whale season to see a lot of Whales but Hamish pulled it off. Not a fantastic view of the Whales as they kept moving under the water. But we all got the bonus of seeing Dolphins 🐬 Will definitely be back and try again. 👍

Had a good time & spotted some dolphins. Went down to the coast for days trip and weather was perfect. Only slight concern is to reconsider if you have toddlers. Noticed few of them getting restless as the cruise is longer than an hour.

Had the most fantastic dolphin watch trip. We saw 20+ dolphins including a really tiny young one - so cute! The skipper and crew were awesome and we were viewing dolphins for most of the 90 minutes. JB is indeed a special place and I would highly recommend this cruise to everyone.

A dolphin cruise without dolphins....I understand that they are animals and can't be persuaded to show up, but would've been nice if they mentioned where the dolphins could show up, and maybe wait a minute. No apologies or any type of compensation for not seeing dolphins. Made even worse with no one attending the consestion stand

CHECK THE CANCELLATION POLICY BEFORE BOOKING. In spite of what the owner has responded in other reviews : it’s not normal, and who’s getting travel insurance for a couple of days down the coast?! Didn’t affect me personally but flagging for the unsuspecting. Staff were all lovely. Recent but dreary and cheap cosmetic refurb. Clearly have low expectations of their guests. Clean - not spotless, but fine. We stayed in the “deluxe twin”. Room gives “fugitive running from the FBI” vibes. Pics do not reflect the reality. Tiny postcard windows, minimal natural light - getting you ready for prison when the cops catch you maybe? Noise from the hose out pub that shares the alley was quite something. They love a fight. Parking is not controlled so we had to park a way away on the street on a busy public holiday weekend, locals use the car park, it’s a free for all. Quite specifically chose a place with parking for this reason, so a fail. Not a motel - no cooking facilities at all. Very basic. They appear to be linked with several other motels etc in the area. I would say they rely totally on location. You could do better. I also wouldn’t bother booking direct - get the rewards from a 3rd party that price matches, they do not give any consideration to direct booking as far as I could see.

Awesome location. Nice view if your balcony is facing the main street. Cooktop in the kitchen is switched off. There is no cooking allowed they said. They don't know why there are cooltops in some rooms. But if you'd like to order food, there are QR codes provided to a webpage which states the option is not available. You can still go out though.

I was rather desperate for an EV charge in Jervis bay and was turned away ungraciously. After speaking to a lady on the phone who said that I could use their EV charger while visiting the restaurant, I arrived and the lady at reception refused to let me charge the car and stated that the charger was only for overnight guests of the motel. I explained that I was desperate for a charge, but she was in an ungenerous mood. I would have been more than happy to move my car if a guest needed to recharge and I was also quite happy to sit in the restaurant and have lunch.

This is a warning. Do not stay here. The hotel manager was extremely rude. We were traveling with friends who were at a different hotel. Our youngest daughter was sleeping at their place but came to our room occasionally, and left with us for dinner. The manager charged us the $100 deposit a week after we left saying we had too many people using the facilities. Deceptive, fraudulent and just awful to tourists. Do NOT stay here.

Great location, helpful staff, clean rooms, but infrastructure dated. Water lukewarm at best, only one face cloth for two.

The pillows in the room are very flat and lack support. Would recommended replacing pillows.

Check cancellation policy carefully. They will not offer refunds or credit vouchers. I think it’s a money grab.

Parking can be tough on a busy day but generally it's OK, and not a long walk from the street above. The beach is stunning and well protected with plenty of shade. Toilets and an outdoor shower are a nice bonus, many of the local beaches are stunning but don't have amenities.

Beautiful White sand and very peaceful. If you like to listen to the sound of the sea that is the best place. The full moon was something else from that spot

Nice beach with lots of things to see. You can walk the promenade with a monument of falen soldiers. Very interesting and beautiful made, it has the shape of a ship when you look closely. You can book a mini 'cruise' that brings you to 2 places in the harbour region. They have sparkling wines and cheese on board. What's not to like. ;-) You can also walk the beach for a long way, you can come back over the footpath if you like. In the evening there is the main street with al the bars and restaurants. Good food!

Amazing beach! Peaceful very family orientated! Great views and such clean sand! Yes there is a toilet and if your seeking some shade, I would recommend you bring your own 😁.

Beautiful white sandy beach on the NSW south coast. Accessed by steps from the picnic area. Good road access and free parking. Toilets and showers available. Free picnic area, BBQs and small childrens playground. Absolutely stunning!

This is the best place I've swam during my time in Australia. The National Park itself is beautiful, but this beach is a must. I was there on Aug 31 and it was the perfect temperature for swimming. Not many people in the water as it was still winter but I had no problem with the water temperature and managed to dry off in my bathing suit on the beach after.

Murrays Beach is fabulous! What a great experience. I love the sand, it’s easy and short. There’s ample parking, and the views are excellent. The sand is great, and the beaches are lovely and clear.

Excellent white sand beach with clear blue waters and less waves… perfect for families and children… you will have plenty of car parking… compared to other beaches in Jarvis Bay area, this beach is less crowded… you can find kangaroos near beach

Murrays Beach is definitely one of my favorite beaches along the NSW coast. Although there’s a $20 fee per car for the Booderee National Park, it’s absolutely worth it. The water is crystal clear, and the whole beach feels like a tropical island. The waves are gentle, the sands are so white and soft, making it great for kids to play safely. The only downside is that during my last week visit, I noticed quite a few dead bees on the sand, which caused some people to get stung on their feet. But overall, it’s such an awesome spot to check out!

A beautiful beach located inside Booderee National Park with crystal clear water and white sand. A rather large public carpark is located to the west of the beach which is about 2 minutes walk. It's also where public toilets and rubbish bins are provided. The sheer size of the carpark is the first evidence of the beach's popularity. All public facilities are free but there is a $20 day pass for the national park. Given the beach is 8km from the gate there is no realistic alternative then arrive on wheels. There are bushwalking tracks nearby which can be combined into the same day activities. There are also many other popular beaches in the same national park which can be planned into the same trip. The Murrays Beach is protected by Bowen Island to the north and underwater sand banks all around to have gentle waves. The water is also shallow near the shore which is relatively safe. However, as with other beaches in Jervis Bay, the beach is not patrolled, so look out for each other. The beach is excellent for all kinds of water activities. Snorkeling can be done at the east end of the beach. Rock fishing is probably better done from the rocks beyond Murrays Beach Cave, taking advantage of the channel between Governor Head Lookout and Bowen Island. Because the beach runs east-west, the trees near the beach provide consistent shade throughout the day. A great place to visit in Jervis Bay.

Murrays Beach is another spot with a complex history, this one is the beautiful beach that was almost Australia’s first nuclear power station. No kidding. How anyone could have ever looked at this gorgeous place and thought “wow, this would be a perfect spot for a nuclear reactor” is beyond us… but history does seem to be in a repetitive mode, so we’re enjoying the world while it lasts. This one is also in the Booderee National Park, so a day pass will cost $20 per car, but there are so many amazing places around here that you can spend the day cruising from beach to beach. But we’re here to try the snorkeling at the western point of the Murrays horseshoe, and we’re very glad we did. Under the water there’s lots of fish of many species, from little baitfish to big blue gropers, plus various other marine critters from eels to urchins. This place would be a beautiful beach to just swim at anyway, but bringing the snorkelling gear will be well worth it. It’s about 300 meters from the carpark to the beach on a well marked trail with only a short incline at the beach end. Recommended.

This lookout was one of the highlights of our holiday, and to think others live near this! One of the key features to this lookout was the drive, not too far away from Jervis Bay- and before hitting the parking lot, we were met with an influx of vibrant forestry overlooking the Horizons edge. Upon arrival, we were met with the ruins of the houses that many individuals inhabited. Stone walkways, alternative trails and a picnic bench near the rock pools. Deeper into the ruins, there is a taller lookout you can come across, where we were met with a sea eagle above. Great spot for family photos. Nearing the edge of the cliffside, there's a small fence barricading you from going further, except it is not wrapped fully around the edge, and making it easy to climb over. This is for parents with adventurous kids to stay cautious of, not to let their kid off-leash and explore, since there are several entry way points to come close to the edge and fall down without anyone noticing. Despite the exceptional view, it is a hazard- and when going around it myself and to the cliffs edge, there were broken glass particles on the ground. Not a good sign. I took a short panning video of how high we truly were, panning across my feet and the drop below. A good fact is that going off to the coastal edge of Australia, it is in fact just a huge drop, just like this!

This place is fabulous 😍 Short stroll from the carpark (roughly 400mts) there is another path that takes you to a cliff slide, but the ruins of the lighthouse are great. No amenities near this site . National Park fees as usual

Great views and an easy drive followed by a short walk. There is a small fee to enter the Booderee National Park. The historic lighthouse and other structures are worth a visit.

A lovely spot with historic ruins and beautiful views. A drive along a gravel road and a short walk. Information signs need some maintenance but we did manage to see some Whales while admiring the view.

Although the road is a bit narrow and requires careful driving but the stunning view make it totally worth the trip!

So many whales just off the coast! Dolphins too! Enjoyed our visit to three lighthouse on a cold dry day. I imagine it's difficult to get to if it's been raining :-)

Great spot to see whales passing by, bring your binoculars and drinking water. Information boards were very interesting. The ruins are really unique and you can get up close to the structure on one side. I would like to see a flag pole to represent the original height of the light house though. Be careful when walking and keep hold of small children as there are major cliff edges. There's a waterfall to the north of the lighthouse. Nice drive to get there, there roads were being upgraded and sealed in prep for the 2025 October holidays. Not much parking. Toilets on site.

We almost didn't stop in the restaurant because of some bad reviews. But as soon as we've passed by we had a good feeling about it , and we were right : food was excellent . Amazing services, we spend a lovely evening at this restaurant. We took 3 entree and 1 main to share, the zucchini flower, crispy pork , ceviche (a bit tiny portion for the price but so good.. ) and the fish of the market. All 4 of them were amazing ! Wood def recommand!

We book a table to try the pesto pizza and duck confit but unlucky us they run out of it.. we took the squid, and scallops for starter ( which was very nice) sauteed vegetables and gluten free chili prawn pizza which was alrite. The service and the restaurant was very nice tho.

We had such a beautiful time here. The food was top notch & the atmosphere was great. The staff were beautiful - friendly & helpful. We ordered the Chef’s table & it was more than enough for the 2 of us & our little one enjoyed the kids’ pizza. They even boxed up our leftovers (which we left sitting on the table 🤦🏻‍♀️ & then kicked ourselves for). We won’t hesitate to recommend to everyone who will listen to us rave about this place & we will definitely visit again.

Was a bit concerned about the venue when I saw cyclone fencing around the venue, obviously due to some renovations or work being undertaken but no concern needed. Great friendly waitress and the place was busy which is always a good sign. Margaritas were excellent and all our meals were delicious. We all had a very enjoyable evening. Would definitely return next time.

From the moment we walked in, the vibes were amazing, warm, welcoming, and full of energy. The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us. And the food was amazing ! Everything was delicious, & beautifully presented, We’re so grateful to the team for making our celebration so special and easy for us. Right in the centre of Huskisson, this café is a great option for brunch. The food was really good, done to a high standard and with a varied menu. Though the hash brown (which was a pretty expensive add-on) was hard as a rock and pretty tasteless. The rest was great though, and well priced. Coffees tasted okay but the latte art was non-existent (see photos), a shame as this would be a great spot for coffee if they bailed the flavour and added some artwork. Staff were friendly, there was seating inside and out, and highchairs were available. Overall a good option, which with a couple of tweaks could be exceptional!

Able to get a table during the post park run rush! Absolutely great food, fresh and delicious. Loved the monkey nuts smoothie bowl and the granola and yogurt was great too. Good reviews on the coffee and lovely views over the bay and street for people watching. Busy to order at the till but drinks and food quite quick. Comfy sofas and tables and chairs inside, some outdoor seating too. Dog friendly outside.

Best chill scrambled eggs on toast!! Nailed it. But really good menu, amazing coffee. Lovely spot to have your meal and watch the ocean shimmer. Gotta come back to try the rest of menu😉

Was down there during the triathlon, the crew ran like a well oiled machine considering how busy they were. Had the granola, it was hands down the best I've ever eaten. Crunchy, flavourful and the pannacotta added a lovely finishing touch. Looking forward to visiting next time we're down. Definitely worth a visit.

Popped in today for a coffee and a bite during the chaos of the Huskisson marathon. The coffee and food was incredible, and the staff were all wonderful and friendly. Always stoked with the sweet potato fries at Salty Joe’s 💜 they’re my absolute favourite. Love that they’re gluten and dairy free 🥳🥳 Abby was so warm and welcoming and provided wonderfully patient and friendly customer service, particularly as I changed a few things in my drink order. My choc peanut butter smoothie (ingredients amended to ensure it was dairy free) was delicious. Reasonable wait time, good communication, and just all round great service. Great job guys, I’ll be back again 😊

We order Padthai chicken and Barramandi with ginger sauce. Omg it was so delicious and the portion was huge too. Love it! If we're back to Jervis Bay, we definitely come back to this place again!! Yummy

We discovered this gem accidentally on our way to Hyams beach. The food was really great. They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The quality and quantity/portion of food was really good. The restaurant is easily accessible right outside the shopping mall. The mall has ample amount of parking spaces even on the busiest days.

As of Celebs having Personal Chef cooking for. Top notch Authentic Thai flavours!! We had TWO portions of Pad See Ew + Chili Basil Stir Fry. Super friendly Lady from arrival to leaving the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Silver Spoon Vincentia nails it on every front delicious food, friendly and attentive service, and an atmosphere that feels both stylish and welcoming. The menu is packed with standout dishes, and what really impressed me was the range of options, which are just as creative and satisfying as everything else on offer. No matter what there’s something here to love, and the whole experience makes it a spot worth coming back to again and again.

Please stay away if you don't want to drive home to have spoiled experience! This restaurant is damaging perception of Thai food or other Thai restaurants. Unfortunately I have chosen this place due to positive ratings. Firstly place is advertising on Google dine in when it is take away only. Secondly it is not that cheap paying $20 for Thai beef salad and $3.5 for a rice to have it as take away. Lastly food even it will cost half of what I have payed for is terrible: 1. Thai beef salad - soggy vegetables, cheap beef meat softened by baking soda so you feel like chewing prawns and all of that is drowning in massive amount of dressing like I have ordered soup. If you ever tried this dish or googled it, definately it looks and tastes completely different to what I have got. 2. Crispy pork belly - there is more fat than meat, vegies are undercooked and sauce is tasteless, watery with a lot of oil but plenty of chilly. 3. Rice is dry and taste it was cooked while ago.

Food was terrible, service was lazy…. Awful experience. My table of 7 didn’t even get through their meals, 4 of which are Asian. Everything we ordered was terrible, the steamed dumplings were crusty and served with tomato sauce and orange and the green curry looked like green gravy… disgusting

The place is located at Vincentia Shopping Village. Sweet and sour pork is delicious. Sweet and sour chicken fritter and crispy chicken with lemon sauce are pretty good but HongKong noddle is bad. Noodle is not egg noodle as described and very salty.

Ordered Chicken and ham roll at $18 and a special fried rice. Chicken and ham rolls were the worst I’ve ever eaten. Fatty processed mince type substance. Special fried rice was tasteless. Consisted of chicken, frozen prawns small ham pieces and pineapple(????). Had NO taste at al, and prawns were watery and the mist horrible consistency in your mouth. The whole lot inedible.

Ordered a Chicken pad Thai got home and had Singapore Noodles meal was replaced and got back home only to recieve who knows what but wasn't pad Thai!!! Definitely won't be going back. 16/09/2023 Husband and I went for date night against my experience on a previous occasion I agreed to go back since we couldn’t go to the new Italian place. We ordered prawn and bacon rolls was like eating cardboard and the served it up with tomato sauce instead of sweet and sour. I told the waitress who told us it was sweet and sour. If most definitely not! We ordered combination chowmein 1 prawn in the dish wasn’t asked if we wanted crispy or soft noodle. Although it wasn’t a complete disappointment however we most certainly won’t be going back.

Impeccable Service, Delicious Food & Fast Delivery! I started writing this review before our food even arrived at the door—that’s how impressive the service was! Heidi, who took our order over the phone, was absolutely impeccable. She was kind, attentive, and an incredible salesperson, effortlessly convincing us to order more than we originally intended (no regrets there!). Her warmth and professionalism made the entire ordering experience feel special. And then the food arrived… in just 30 minutes, even though we were told 45! That kind of efficiency is rare and so appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious. It had that comforting, homemade quality that you hope for when finding a great local Chinese spot. It reminded me of the kind of meal you stumble upon while on holiday—simple, authentic, and packed with flavour. Every dish was fresh, well-prepared, and exactly what we were craving. Highly recommend Vincentia Chinese Restaurant for their incredible service, speedy delivery, and wonderful food. We’ll definitely be ordering again—both while we’re here and on our next holiday!
