Additionally, the village features a bike hire shop, boutique shopping, and nearby cellar doors for wine tasting at Whitehaven. Visitors can enjoy indoor or outdoor dining with picturesque vineyard views. The menu offers interesting choices beyond the usual fare, including tasty options like eggs benedict and delightful green tea served in pots.
Love this place. Food was delicious & the service was on point 💯

A great cafe with a place for everyone even on a miserable day. Lovely food and coffee, awesome setting and great service. Highly Recommend as an alternative to the many wineries which often require bookings even for us locals!
Shon E — Google review
We had a lovely time at The Vines Village! There was 10 of us which can be tricky to host especially for a tasting but they were incredible hosts, with fantastic food and a fabulous range of wines. Would recommend especially for big groups.

Feel terrible saying this but wow really dropped the ball in here.. went into the cafe for brunch with my daughter and granddaughters. Kitchen was closed so only cabinet food.(Which was fine) . Cabinet looked quite depressing so was hard to choose decided on chicken wrap, brown lettuce in it and was extremely soggy not pleasant to eat.. daughter said her chicken sandwich was soggy to. Coffee wasn't hot and tasted very bitter. Went up to get a jug of hot water and stood around waiting for some service for a while. Definitely need some training on customer service on the young ones. Definitely wasn't worth the $45. We left quite disappointed.
Nzfoodie — Google review
Great location and outdoor and indoor dining available. On a sunny day have your sustenance outside by the wee pond. Great vibe and good service. Waffle fries are hard to come but but on this day they were very salty. The fish slider I probably wouldn't have again (panko crumbed fish with a more refined salad may coax me though!) but my eggs benedict was tasty. You definitely need some food when you're wine tasting and this is a good option. There's also gin tasting in the village too which I managed to squeeze in after lunch.
Rachel S — Google review
We went for brunch and I was impressed they had a few more interesting choices on the menu instead of just the same things that you get everywhere. I also liked that the green tea I ordered came in a pot with enough tea for more than one cup. They were able to deal well with several separate payments for our large group. And the Village Green smoothies are amazing!

My wife and I went here because she had been a few times before and really enjoyed it. She ordered Fish and Chips, I ordered Ceaser Salad. It was busy on the day, so it took nearly 45min for our lunch to come out - which was understandable. There was leftover plates on other tables so it was a bit of a mess. But watching the birds eating the leftovers was entertaining anyway. When lunch finally arrived I would have eaten anything that was put in front of me. Sadly my salad was possibly the worst Ceaser Salad I have ever eaten. The poached Egg was just the yoke, most of the rest of the egg was gone. The iceberg lettuce was poorly ripped - no love shown to it at all. Some chunks were still in the original layers. The bacon and chicken had no love shown either. So basically it was a poor result all around. I ate it anyway and didn’t complain because I was enjoying lunch with my wife. But then she said she couldn’t eat the fish. It was crumbed like fish fingers. It was over cooked and dried out. Basically it was rubbery. She sent hers back and they gave a refund. So that was my sad experience - we had high hopes that never came true. The staff were very friendly and the environment was lovely.

Nice place, the outdoor area is awesome. Tables for all size groups and a decent kids playground. It’s fenced and nice and safe for the young ones. The cafe is nice, good food and coffee. Could do with a few more lunch options like burgers etc

Nautilus Estate, located in Renwick, is a must-visit for wine enthusiasts. Named after the shell found in the Sounds, it offers award-winning wines like Marlborough Cuvee Brut NV and Vintage Rose Sparkling. Nearby Giesen Wines provides over 20 wines to sample along with a delectable platter of local delicacies. Seresin Estate, owned by cinematographer Michael Seresin, produces biodynamic Italian-style wines.
We were specifically looking for a small, family vineyard to spend an hour and Nautilus came highly recommended. We were not disappointed. Welcoming hostess, tasty wine and a yummy cheese platter and a cozy room. And extremely reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!

Had a fantastic time here and this small family run vineyard. Amy looked after me and was very knowledgeable about the wines. All the wines I tasted were amazing. A must visit when you're in the area

Excellent wines. From sparkling to Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Totally worth it!

Amazing team, Outstanding wine!!! We arrived as they were closing for Christmas and Boxing Day…. BUT, they welcomed us to enjoy a few samples and made us feel right at home! Thank you!!!!

We popped in for a wine tasting on a cold sunny winters day and had an amazing time. We sat by the cosy fire and had a lovely lady tell us about the wines, she really looked after us and made the experience even more special as we were celebrating our friends 30th birthday. We especially loved the pinot Gris, rose, and Sauv B!
Jennifer R — Google review
Last Sunday my husband, his brother and I called into your beautiful cellar. We really just wanted to sit and enjoy a glass of wine by the fire. This was no trouble to the lovely lady who welcomed us warmly and put another log on the fire. Thank you so much for the hospitality and delicious glass of wine. Sadly we couldn't buy a bottle to take home - carry on luggage only back to Upper Hutt but rest assured next time we are in Blenheim with a vehicle we will certainly go home with a bottle or more. Thank you once again. Judy McMahon

Framingham Wines is a charming winery where visitors can relax outdoors with a glass of wine or indulge in wine tasting trays and cheeseboards. The courtyard offers a lovely setting to savor the wines, and guests can also enjoy the comfortable beanbags in the sun. The staff is known for their warmth and knowledge, making the experience even more delightful. With delicious wines, beautiful surroundings, and excellent service, Framingham Wines is highly recommended for a memorable visit.
What a little gem of a place. It was Mother’s Day and my husband and I have recently moved to the Marlborough area. As a Mother’s Day treat he wanted to take me out to a few wineries in the area and to be honest Allan Scott was top of my list as i have always wanted to go there. It wasn’t the best experience there and very impersonal as the food platters were not very good and the wine samples are served via a refrigerated sample dispenser. So we tried a few other wineries and Framingham was last on our list. I really truly wish we had gone there first. What an amazing experience. Lilly was the lady who served our samples. A bubbly, knowledgeable and such a friendly lady who made our afternoon so special. We even got to go and pick our own cheeses, relishes and crackers to nibble on in a separate area that we could take back to our table and enjoy. Such a lovely place. I could go on and on, but it’s definitely my number 1 winery in Marlborough and I highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you Lilly, we will be back 🥰

👍 Like my review! Please note that if you are here for a tasting, it will NOT be waived upon a purchase of any wine bottles. This left a bad taste after we purchased a number of bottles from Framingham Wines making us realize if there's even a point to return. However, the wines were overall great, the entrance garden is beautiful, and the area downstairs to see the passion of the owners was astoundingly cool. Those working in the tasting room told us we can play the drums if we wanted to. We would recommend it as an experience for once in your life but don't plan to return anytime soon nor purchase future bottles.

Quirky, Cool, and Full of Heart! Framingham Wines was such a fun and memorable stop. The service was friendly and welcoming, and we absolutely loved exploring the cellar and the band room — their support of the arts adds a unique and inspiring touch to the whole experience. The setting is quirky and cool, with gardens that are full of character and charm. Don’t miss the chance to grab one of their cool pink shirts — it’s a great way to support a good cause while taking home a piece of the vibe. A place with personality, great wine, and a whole lot of soul. Highly recommended!

We visited Framingham Winery for the afternoon with plans to move onto the next place but we had such a lovely time we ended up staying the whole day! Really wonderful service, the staff there are so lovely and take such good care. They have a great knowledge of their produce and production, shared in a very friendly and accessible way. Their Riesling tasting was fantastic as was their self service snack selection. 5 stars all round, highly recommended!
Caitlin R — Google review
If you only have one day in Marlborough you HAVE to visit Framingham. It makes the best reisling in the region and you must have the reisling tasting. The vineyard is spectacular, the court yard setting offers the best spot in the region to sit relax and enjoy the wine. Will always reccomend to anyone visiting.

Incredible service, atmosphere, and of course, wine. When you live in wine country, the standards are high, and this place delivers. Thank you Tanya for being so knowledgeable and welcoming! I’ll be happy to return soon ☺️
Maria C — Google review
We visited a few different wineries and this was our absolute favourite. It is a smaller winery, more boutique than say Cloudy Bay. The gardens are exceptionally well maintained and there is cellar door seating inside and out if it is a nice day. The staff member who served us was so lovely and very helpful. We tried a selection of whites and found all to be delicious. A personal favourite from Framingham was the Pinot Gris, though the Riesling is more popular I believe. If you are trying a few wineries out in the Marlborough, Framingham is an absolute must do.
Lesley C — Google review
Probably my favourite winery in all of Marlborough. The second time I've visited now and these wines are exceptional. The garden setting is unbeatable. Caroline was brilliant and very kind. She really helps make this place tick. If you like Riesling, this is the must-go and all their other wines are also very good. Do not miss this winery!!!!

Forrest Wines is a charming winery located just a short bike ride away from the B&B, offering a relaxing wine tasting experience in their garden on bean bag chairs. Visitors can sample two wines for free at the bar or opt for a tasting tray of seven wines for a reasonable price. The owners, John and Brigid Forrest, transitioned from medical careers to grape growing and offer an array of wines including chardonnay, albarino, malbec, and more.
Great place! We had a wonderful time and tasted some excellent wines. We chose the $16 tasting, which included six wines. We also ordered a small platter with cheese and terrine for $30. Everything was delicious. Special mention for the service – we received great explanations about the wines, and the staff was very friendly. I recommend it 100%!
Céline D — Google review
Personal, Relaxed, and Delicious! Forrest Wines gave us one of the most enjoyable tasting experiences in Marlborough. The team offered personal service with great knowledge and tasting notes, all delivered in a relaxed and unrushed way that made us feel truly welcome. Ordering wine to be sent home was super easy — and reasonably priced too, which was a nice bonus. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time, ask questions, and really enjoy the wines without any pressure. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a thoughtful and friendly tasting experience.

We are so thankful we stopped here. The staff were incredible. So warm, welcoming, chill and funny. The wines were delicious. They have live music on Sundays and he was great - acoustic covers. There is also a brewery on the property and there are yard games at both. A few food trucks there as well. You won’t be disappointed if you head to Forrest Winery!

The perfect place to spend a sunny day in a lovely, tranquil surrounding. There is no need to make a booking - you can simply visit during the opening hours and enjoy a glass of wine or some snack. By ordering a tasting tray of 7 wines, you receive an excellent introduction to the styles offered by Forrest. Thanks to that we could choose the one we liked best and buy a bottle for later. The place itself is very inviting, well-maintained, run by friendly and informative staff.

What a gem. Forrest was recommended by one of the other cellars, and I am glad we came. I recommended the Cornerstone 2014.

Perfect way to spend a sunny day. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was so relaxing and inviting. We ordered a tasting flight and the doctors platter and were very pleasantly satisfied. 7 generous tastings, the platter was delicious and the perfect portion for 2. We had a beautiful afternoon here and would absolutely recommend coming by.

We had the best start to our Marborough self guided wine tour here at Forrest. A lovely English lady gave us our wines and had the chats with us over a beautiful fire on a sunny winters day. It was our friends 30th so she even got a special birthday wine treat! We could’ve easily spent the day here but sadly had to continue on our bikes! The social media staff were also super responsive when liaising over wine deliveries too. Add this place to your list!!
Jennifer R — Google review
A lovely lovely wine tasting experience! Beautiful weather definitely made this better, but we sat outside on bean bags, tried the 7 different wines on the tasting board and feasted on a cheese board. Whilst the tasting itself was nothing special (we didn’t get information on each wine and lots of history about the winery), the whole experience was very pleasant. It was our last stop of the day, and to sit lying in the sun drinking a variety of wines was bliss!

Nestled in the heart of Marlborough, Te Whare Ra Vineyard and Winery, which translates to "house of the sun" in Maori, is a charming boutique winery that has been captivating wine enthusiasts since 2003. Owned by the passionate duo Jason and Anna Flowerday, this vineyard stands out as a pioneer in organic and biodynamic practices. They utilize unique natural fertilizers like cow manure enriched with egg shells and basalt dust to nourish their soil rather than just feeding the vines.
We did a wine tasting and it was amazing! A Rose, 3 Whites and a Red. Plenty of detail about their wines, insight into why things are done the way they are and just a lovely experience without pressure to buy. They’re just a bunch of people that love making and sharing wine. Plus their dogs are tremendous!

Our third wine tasting in NZ. By far the best one. Each wine had a distinctive character although balanced. Personal, family owned, and fun with an excellent explanation! Book your tasting in advance and make sure to buy some bottles for your family for the holidays ❤️❤️
Axelle P — Google review
So extremely blessed to be able to score a tasting session even though they were closed for harvest season (right time and day to be honest). Anna was so accommodating and so detailed in her explanation about the wines they produce. It’s a lovely family winery and we love this personal experience. Can’t help but to walk away with more bottles than our luggages could hold (we’ll deal with that later).

We had a great cellar door experience with Lucy, she was really welcoming and guided us through the fantastic range of wines being produced at their vineyard. The passion for doing things as naturally and organically as possible really comes through and has resulted in great wines. One of the best cellar doors in the region

Wonderful tasting experience with Lucy. We learned so much about not just the wines but the history of the region. Lucy was knowledgeable, warm, welcoming and fun. Bonus was Max, the vineyard dog made an entrance and said hi to everyone. If you are looking for great wines and cozy vibes, this is the place for you!

We were here on Wednesday 2nd Nov for a wine tasting. What a fabulous experience at one of the smaller wineries. We were met by the lovely Lucy who made a perfect presentation of each of the 5 wines we tasted. This was the only cellar we visited where we enjoyed every wine we tasted. Highly recommended to venture slightly of the beaten track to come and experience their wines. Will certainly look out for them in the UK. Denese and Neil

I have been “ living” in Renwick for 2 months and finally decided to try this Takeaway. It was excellent and actually a very good value. The fish and chips were fresh and plentiful and the Cheese Burger was good as well. I was impressed with how well they packaged the fish and chips in paper. Was still good and hot when I arrived home. I liked it and I believe you will too.
Dean B — Google review
My partner and I had fish and chips from different parts of the country. This has been the best ratio money/fish portion. I ordered 2 different fish types and each of them was almost twice the size I am used to get. The batter was slightly sweet, but other than that was a great experience
Mrsteskiettina — Google review
Best succulent fish ever and really crispy chips. I can't stand dry fish, i was surprised how amazing it was. 👏5 stars is not enough. 🙌 We were on holiday and googled where to get fish n chips. We live in Rangiora. I'd drive there just to get dinner it was that yummy. Lol 😋
Angelique P — Google review
Great value, yummy food in general other than the steak burger 🍔 which was pretty nice but, it was odd the taste and density of the steak, it was like as if the steak had been boiled. Polite staff, speedy service, clean environment, the outdoor option sitting in the sun 🌞 was lovely while waiting for the food to be ready. I am grateful for this takeaway place in Whakahau A.K.A. Renwicktown A.K.A. Renwick. I just noticed from the open hours mentioned, they let me order & served me outside of the stipulated open hours then closed. The steak spring roll is the yummiest neat I've had from them and the kumara chips are yum. I can eat, this meal was filling for lunch.

We have always enjoyed the chinese takeaways, and fish and chips, but today we had the hamburger special. Nice fresh bun, great egg but the meat pattie was really horrible, not even sure it was ground beef. Will not be ordering that again.!

Wairau River Cellar Door & Number 11 Restaurant is a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and foodies alike. This family-owned winery offers hosted tastings, stunning surroundings, and menus that highlight the finest Marlborough produce. Indulge in warming seafood chowders, seasonal vegetables, local cheeses, and premium game perfectly paired with their exquisite wines. For a delightful winery lunch experience, Wairau River Winery consistently serves delicious food.
While visiting Blenheim, googled wineries and chose Wairau River. We arrived and spoke to the lovely staff. Explained that I’m a ‘non-drinker’ but wanted to do a wine tasting. Deb and Sue were so helpful and recommended several wines for me to taste. We didn’t order any food but we had the best experience, the wine was fantastic and we bought some bottles to take home. The prices were very reasonable. Your staff are an absolute credit to your business. We will return when next in the area. Thank you.
Deb F — Google review
The view was lovely and gave us high hopes, but the overall experience was disappointing. We chose the chef’s choice menu along with a selection of Wairau River wines, expecting something special. The olives and focaccia at the start were nice, and the dishes looked good on the plate. But the flavours didn’t follow through. The grilled chicken satay was just okay, and the braised beef cheek was bland and lacked depth. Fries and cucumbers as sides felt random and uninspired — especially disappointing for a chef-curated meal. Even the wine selection, which we were really looking forward to, fell short. As someone who genuinely enjoys wine, I found them surprisingly unimpressive and ended up leaving most of it unfinished. The service didn’t help either. Staff felt distant and not particularly warm or welcoming. With such a beautiful setting and refined branding, we expected more care and attention to the full experience. In the end, it felt like style over substance. A beautiful place with potential, but sadly, the food, wine, and service didn’t live up to the setting.
C K — Google review
Number 11 has the best mussels (of my life!). Repeat customer - they are THAT good. Excellent service, especially Sue! Very memorable experience - trying the wine and eating delish food. Lots of food & wine to choose from so plan to come back every few days! Lovely to eat outside & enjoy 🥂

There were many restaurants to choose from and we finally chose Number 11 based on reviews as well as the wine from Wairau river. Let me tell you, we weren’t disappointed! A nice and cosy place with friendly staff (box checked). Next box, the wine, we chose the Riesling, and it was good (another box ticked). Then we got our food and kudos to chefs, it was delicious (final box ticked). So if you are ever in the area; please drop by.

I came here with two friends and we had a wonderful time. We ordered the “chef’s choice” menu and the wine to go with it. Everything was extremely tasty and the portions were a good size. Afterwards we had a wine tasting and got excellent service from Deb who helped us pick from the options to maximize the number of wines we got to taste. We ended up buying ten bottles and having coffee on the terrace enjoying the beautiful view. Highly recommended for all aspects: food, wine, service and atmosphere.
Bjorg H — Google review
Between the food and the service we had an exceptional experience here. We were shown the chefs choice option and jumped on board, could not recommend the experience enough. Food was incredible, it was exciting to see what was coming out, and it arrived promptly. A big focus on the food, it was so amazing, best lunch we've had in Marlborough in a long time. We couldn't recommend stopping in here enough.

Enjoyed lunch here in the most beautifully appointed restaurant overlooking the vines. Tasting menu ($55) was sublime, excellent value and highly recommended! Every dish had bold flavours and excellently executed. Their Rosemarie fries was the best I've had in my life, insanely light, crispy and yet fluffy instead. Lamb Henry was meltingly tender in a riot of flavours with the Herby zaatar and creamy yogurt. So good!! Service was warm and friendly, in a wonderful ambience and the fireplace was going which lent a nice warmth to the wintery morning.

Absolutely brilliant. Definitely worth a visit. Had the Carne pizza, up there with some of the best pizza I've had - crispy light base topped with meat and cheese what more could you ask for? Good range of beers and wine. ( I had the lager so can't comment on the wines) The atmosphere and music was very chilled and beautiful views. 10/10 would recommend

Bloody good pizza!! Lovely location with mountain views in a warm modern building. We didn't do a tasting but enjoyed the Sav Blanc.

We were in a restaurant on the spot, lunch time on Sunday, good food, pizzas, BBQ, and more, nice atmosphere, a band just appeared on the spot As we entered, we placed an order for the pizza that was recommended at the entrance with smoked BBQ meat, it was good, but it took too long to arrive at our table. I would also expect the waiters to approach us at least once (we were there for about an hour) to check if everything is okay

My partner and myself, went there for dinner for my birthday, our first time going there. Great atmosphere, got seated straight away, music was good, our waitress was lovely very chatty and very pleasant, our meal was great we had 3 courses. Cocktails were so good. Really enjoyed the meal, we ended up getting free dessert 🍨 complimentary because it was my birthday. We will be going back there again. Top notch food. It was quite busy, but we didn't wait too long.

I booked for 10, and another 4-5 wanted to attend last minute. Not and ideal situation for a busy restaurant. Even though the venue was fully booked the staff were kind enough to offer up an alternative space and allow us to eat downstairs. The group was large and the tables were swiftly arranged and reset, although disruptive to their plans they were able to run with things. They were not obliged to at all accommodate the extras, but they made it work. Once we had been relocated the service was quick and friendly, offering some banter and laughs. Drinks and food were brought out quickly and they were in every sense amazing! It was reasonably pricey but for the atmosphere and the quality of food and beverages available it was absolutely worth it. The group spoke well of the Fancy Cow for the following few days wishing that we had gone earlier. Staff offered sound advice and direction for food and drink suggestions. Everyone that attended mentioned that if or when they were back in Blenheim they would be returning to the Fancy Cow in a heart beat. Thanks team for the great food and drinks and a flexible mindset despite the disruption we caused. Absolute legends!

Fantastic service from all staff members. They are to be congratulated my husband and I both work in hospitality and they took the time to ask us where we were from . We are from the Hunter Valley NSW and are spoilt for good food and great service so well done to all the team 😊

Arbour Restaurant in Marlborough offers a sophisticated dining experience with a touch of Japanese influence. The restaurant is known for its faultless, innovative food and wine pairings, delivered by a friendly and first-class team. Meanwhile, Harvest at The Marlborough provides a stunning setting with its charcoal oven and inventive fare. For those seeking clever snacks and killer martinis, Franks is conveniently located near Blenheim's urban hotel 14th Lane.
Can’t complain. Great attention to detail as you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Waiting staffs are friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine they serve. Dishes are explained clearly. Service is tailored to the need of guests. One of the best dining experience I have ever had.

Upscale yet down to earth dining experience. Extensive wine selection, and good wine pairings that was a good introduction for further tastings and winery visits. The food was very good, with a special note for the lamb. Portions could be a bit bigger, but overall highly recommended. Enjoy all!

We enjoyed a lovely meal here to celebrate my birthday which they acknowledged with a little cake at the end. All the courses were beautifully presented. Great adaptations to make them gluten free, including fresh bread. A heads up that the wine pairing is very generous so I left feeling a tad tipsy. A huge thanks to the team who were so kind to help us with a payment mistake we made - you went above and beyond.

Absolutely a little gem in Blenheim. It was a rainy night, the restaurant was cosy and warm. The dining room felt spacious and private. Each dish and wine were introduced by the very knowledgeable Liz, we thoroughly enjoyed the wine match and the stories about the local vintners.

Arbour is a must visit restaurant in Blenheim. We visited a couple weeks ago, during a rainy few days in Marlborough. The space is cozy with each table having plenty of space to feel intimate - the decor is soft and acts to quiet any extra noise for a calm experience. Service was fantastic with every staff member being friendly and knowledgable. Liz guided us through two exceptional wine pairings for our meal - my husband opted for the rare & cellared and I for the current vintage which allowed us to try as much wine as possible. ;) And to top everything off, the food was amazing! From our first bites of focaccia with black garlic to to very last of caramelized yoghurt creme. However by far my two favorites were the Barley, Porcini, and Hazelnut Veloute and the Middlehurst lamb. Everything had good flavor balance with appropriate seasoning, acid, and varying textures throughout the dishes. An overall favorite dining experience.

Dined here in a small group and had the degustation menu with wine matching. Booked well in advance and communication with the restaurant via email was excellent. They double checked we were still coming the day before. Welcome into the restaurant and initial impressions were good. We chose an aged or rare wine selection with the meal and each wine was introduced with excellent detail and background on who it was produced by and how long it had been cellared for. I don't normally enjoy white wines but the ones served here were special. The food was delicious and very good size portions. I was not hungry after all the dishes had been served. If you want top quality and service at a restaurant in the Blenheim area book at Arbour.

This restaurant is restrained elegance. The decor, the menu, the wine. All excellent! The standout was the middlehurst lamb rump, cooked sous vide style and amazingly tender while still being medium and pink inside... I have never eaten lamb that melts in your mouth like that before. It is still haunting my dreams. Sommelier was very knowledgeable and friendly, and very attentive too.

Absolutely delicious food. My girlfriend and I had "The Many" which is every dish on their seasonal changing menu. My personal favorite was the smoked curd dumplings but there were no bad dishes that left the kitchen. Definitely would recommend for your next date night.
