There were some amazing species in the aquarium which was nice, however it’s a bit small for the animals. The penguins showed signs of stress. There were about 10 axolotls in a very small aquarium, 2 capybaras with barely any room on land or to swim. I enjoyed the bird room, they looked like they were having fun. They have a great variety of species but truly need to make some of their exhibitions larger to accommodate to the animals needs. Every other aquarium I’ve been to has had rules about speaking quietly and not tapping on the aquarium glass, but this one did not. I think it’s something that would make the experience so much better. Overall I think they have great potential to expand, just need to improve some aspects.

It’s a very nice aquarium. Small but very nice. Some of the tanks are a bit too small for the size of the fish inside, which is kind of sad. For the size of the building on the outside, I was expecting a much bigger place. We loved the bird space and the otters were adorable. They have a store in the end, and of course, everything is very expensive. We didn’t pay much to get in, but definitely spent way to much to get out!

we are International visitors from Europe who came here in July 2025, and despite the website and various forums promising at least HALF price for children between 5 and 12, my wife paid for herself and our 6 year old daughter TWO Adult tickets!! She only saw this after payment was done! This basically RUINS the entire experience, especially since the staff did not make ANY effort to speak English or at least Spanish. (Btw, the staff at the souvenir shop, ALL OF A SUDDEN, spoke fluent English, even Russian and German was spoken! So like the other reviews, this place is out TO MAKE MONEY and abuse especially unknowing tourists from outside of Brazil. AVOID!!)

The best time to visit it is after Good Friday, the weather still hot but not so crowded as between December - March. The teleférico ticket gets you to the top of the park, where you can stay and enjoy the trails in the Atlantic Forest or enjoy snacks or meals before continuing down to the beach of Laranjeiras where there are many restaurants and beautiful calm waves. Chairs and umbrellas are for rent if you wish to stay awhile. The ticket also gets you back where you can stay at the top for more time or continue on back to Balneário Camboriú. We started our voyage at around 10:00 and got back by 1:00.

The stores are great. Be careful in the parking lot though, the pesdestrian exit near the Outback Steakhouse has speed bumps. I fell and fractured my humerus. Security called for help and Jean, from the shopping staff helped me before going to the hospital. Ended up receiving a surgery. My humerus was fractured in 4 parts. Post-op is difficult. Please, organize and make your pedestrian crossing from all the entrances more visible.

The mall is huge, you can find almost anything, the food options are spectacular. Easy access for a parking lot, yet I recommend going by uber so you avoid the stress while driving in the city.. the shopping mall has an NBA store, which I found amazing because you can't find it anywhere. In my last visit, we had a cake and a cup of cappuccino for a good moderate price. Would recommend visiting the place, totally worth it.

Great view, easy to access, free parking with very quick shuttle bus to the top. Not much walking required for elderly and easy access with pram except for very top of Cristo. I went early and there was hardly anyone there but I think later on there's more of a party vibe happening and the restaurants open. Worth visiting as a tourist.

Morro do careca (bald mountain) is a perfect place for paragliding, to view beautiful landscapes including Atlantic Ocean, Praia Brava (Angry Beach) and Balneario Camboriu. If you like challenge, climb the bald mountain on foot! On the top, you have water, AÇAI (Amazing Brazilian fruit, similar to an ice cream, very refreshing). I really recommend it! Amazing place. I just think they charge a high tax to enter through a car... for small cars the tax is around 3.000 pesos.

I ordered a grilled chicken burger but I got served “cold” mayonnaise chicken salad sandwich with the smell of rotten meat. In addition the place featured a blues band but everything in there was about Marilyn the Blondie completely the opposite of a southern blues theme.

Breathtaking place in Balneario Camboriu. There you can walk around while admiring the landscape. You can take beautiful pictures of the city in the belvedere. It offers a good infrastructure for the visitors.

I honestly expected more. The boat is nice, the pirates were trying to be funny, unfortunately the crowd was not the most entertaining one. I didn't like the fact they are trying to sell you overpriced pictures from the beginning to the end. The pirate captain should be more involved in the act not only the lgbt pirates :))

We came as visitors on a cruise ship (we are both from the UK) and the restaurant is very close to the tender pier. After the good reviews on google we wanted to try it out. The menu is in Portuguese (which is fine as I understand a little bit of Spanish and the waiters also spoke a little bit of Spanish). He explained to me that one page in the menu on the left were platters for 2 and the rest was food for 1 person. So I ordered octopus and my husband ordered fish (which was on the right side of the menu and my husband's dish on the next page). My meal came first and it was absolutely MASSIVE. I called the waiter and asked him if this platter was for 2 people and he said "yes". Of course the platter for my husband was also HUGE and we had to leave so much food behind! We both are not big people and any good waiter or any good restaurant would have said that it was way too much what we ordered. BUT THEY DIDN'T. Both of us felt being ripped off. What a shame especially since it was our first visit to Brazil. The food was ok, the octopus a little bit tough, the rice and the potatoes were very good. My husband also enjoyed the fish. I don't know how many cruise ship come into port, but it would help if you use google translation and give English speaking people a menu in English. And please treat tourists with a little respect and don't think we all have lots of money to throw away. Thank you.

Seasonality is clearly a thing in winter in balneario camboriu. I finally was able to go with my daughter. Seated inside, server from Chile was attentive, had filet mignon and it was ok, will go back to try seafood. Felt very bad for the restaurants as the few tables who were there all brought their own wine, one couple with the cork out already, like bringing leftover from home. Not the best visual, I get it guests want to pay just cork fee,but perhaps create some specials in the wine on the list

Had the best Christmas Eve dinner here. Wonderful selection of traditional delicacies (croquetes, salmão defumado, raviolis de alcachofra, roast duck in sage sauce, guava sorbet) washed down with a superb Brazilian bubbly. We lucked out and snagged an outside table. Our neighbour was a Dutch tourist on his own for Christmas Eve but this is No 7 so of course we invited him to eat with us. Next a woman from a neighbouring table hears we are from Boston and drops in to say hello since she went to Babson College in Wellesley. We were just looking for somewhere to eat yet we ended up personally invited to the mother of all Christmas parties. This happens only in very special restaurants like No 7, where we would have returned today had they been open and we have already booked for tomorrow as we can't wait to return. ❤❤❤

We live part-time in BC, and we eat here whenever we're in town. We love this place! One of the best restaurants in Balneario. It's more than just seafood, too. Outstanding menu and a superb chef. The service and atmosphere are great, too. Quiet place with plenty of great art pieces around. Jorge was one of our staff this last time, and he and his colleagues were very friendly and attentive. We'll be back again and again!

A small but well-organized zoological park. Loved the very natural landscaping that made the tour feel like I was 'searching through the Jungle' for the rare animals. Above average were the very informative museums. I especially enjoy the Anthropology dioramic displays on the Laranjerais excavation that discovered many remains of those who originally populated the region. The Aquarium was cool, especially on a HOT day.

We bought tickets and ended up giving them away because the line wound around three sides of the building. We weren’t going to the amusement parks or connecting to beaches and didn’t have time to wait in line for two hours, for a ride up just to enjoy the view. The huge winding-switchback queue wasn’t visible until past the point of ticket purchase — not their fault that it’s popular but a little transparency about wait time would be helpful before the point of ticket sale.

Stopped in on our way back to floripa for take out. A Thursday night and the place was PACKED! No parking so we found a spot in the residential area behind the building. We ordered the burrito (I got the veggie burrito which was delicious). Well seasoned and not too greasy. A hint of sweetness-- I think it was mango. For sure want to check out the location in floripa!

Great for a night out with a group of friends, if you're looking for something different here in Balneário Camboriú. The food is reasonable, but what makes it mostly worthwhile is the atmosphere.

Great food, goos entertainment, nice vibe. The order took a while to be prepared but they were busy during high season. Vegan options are extremely tasty and recommended!

We went there for diner and the food was mediocre. We ordered the lasagna. It was almost 300 reais for lasagna for two people. They brought 4 small squares of lasagna (realistically enough for two children) with an excessive amount of sauce. No bread, salad or nothing else. Our server came to the table one time after they brought the food. I have never in my life been to an Italian restaurant that doesn’t offer at least bread with your mean, especially at this cost. Way overpriced. Certainly a tourist trap.

Very complete facility! Featuring well-managed track for carts to cars. I recently enjoyed street car night drag racing. They're are several restaurants at all price levels & a couple of bars. The facility is very clean & it's a perfect environment for families with children. The location also includes a large concert site & conference center. I didn't have time to visit but I learned of a paintball couse as part of this entertainment complex.

Beautiful, tranquil beach which was completely ruined by a local fisherman who threatened me and my partner if we continued swimming in the sea because it disturbed the fish. Local mafia at its worst.
