Beautiful park. So many choices. Camped at group site 1-1502 close to the public beaches, just a short walk to P5. Nice trees and spacious campsite. Be aware that to access this site it is on the one way only part of the road so returning means having to do the whole loop around the park, which is quite long! Plan your trip accordingly! Also our group site only had 6 picnic benches and the next one over had 13? It be great if they had similar amounts. Facilities were clean, camp store is well equipped and has many cute souvenirs. Also many hiking, canoeing and kayaking options. My only complaint is the dog beach. If the P1&P2 areas could be an off leash dog beach just like Port Burwell it would be perfect! There are signs everywhere indicating it is on leash only but some dogs are off leash which causes tension for the on leash dogs. Either enforce it for everyone or designate it as a true off leash dog beach and it would be perfect!

Beautiful beaches and warm water when we camped during July. The lake is shallow, so you can spend a lot of time in the water. Bathroom are well maintained. Staff presence makes the area feel safe and comfortable. We stayed at a group camping site with friends. Picnic tables, fire pits were available. No running water at site but we could get it nearby (close to washrooms). Showers are located further away. Overall great experience!

Great place to relax. My boyfriend and I love going here, we are from Michigan but the drive is totally worth it. The people here are so kind. The facilities are fantastic, the restrooms are always clean, there’s a shop where you can buy everything you need basically, and you can rent kayaks and bikes in case you don’t have. The city of Grand Bend is like 15 min away from here and it’s also pretty cute. Definitely recommended!!

We camped at the park for 2 nights and it was a very comfortable stay. It is a beautiful protected forest host to oak savanna ecosystem and freshwater dunes, home to so many species of plants and animals. We had plenty of time to explore the park and soak in the beauty. The camping area beaches are not crowed and we could just relax on the beach and watch the sunset. the whole park is covered with boardwalks and is accessible for wheelchairs.

It was a really great beach! Amazing sand and crystal clear water! I recommend coming early in the morning when parking and entrance at the gate is not that busy. The drive from the gate to P1 is quite long but it is nice to be submerged with nature. I love this beach! One of my favorites!

What a stunning area of Ontario. This Provincial Park lived up to its hype. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. What an amazing and large park! Camping sites in the Riverside campground (area 4) were spacious and private despite the large number of sites. Facilities and amenities were all clean and well stocked. The various beaches were beautiful. It was like being down south with the beautiful white sandy beaches and the aqua water! And it's a short drive into Grand Bend, a beautiful little town.

Amazing beaches!!! Unbelievable sunsets. Only downside was the flies on the beach I September. They really take a chunk out of you when they bite (draw blood). The closer you sit to the water the fewer bugs. Powdery white sand is beautiful. The water is clear and beautiful. It can be calm or have huge waves the day after a storm. Plan to spend a good 45 mins just getting into the park on a sat or Friday though. Everyone is entering or leaving at the same time. The handicap site across from the comfort station in the Riverside area was great and we could not hear others at night.

A small but delightful museum very close to the busy resort town of Grand Bend. It deals primarily, as the name suggests, with historical artifacts and tidbits of Lambton County. It has a range of items from farm, oil industry and even early bicycle construction. The main building has 3 main spaces and a, very, small gift shop. The entrance fee is most reasonable making this a very worthwhile introduction to the area

An Amazing Interactive Museum! A small but incredibly impressive museum! Right from the entrance, you're greeted with vivid AI technology featuring animated historical faces on the wall. The "in-person" experience area with a vintage rotary dial telephone truly moved me. The space is clean, well-organized, and the staff is friendly. A perfect destination for families and anyone interested in unique historical experiences. Highly recommended!

Cute little museum my kids loved it. We just poped in and we're fascinated by all that we seen and the kids picked up some bingo sheets to play a game to encourage them to become interactive and visit other locations

A truly great little museum with a handful of heritage buildings on site. We stopped in during a camping trip at the Pinery. We were pleasantly surprised by its modern galleries, including an open storage gallery and a newly added gallery about local history. It was also fun to explore the trail out back, and we were quite impressed by the garden map of the region out front. 5/5 must check out!

Have been here many times before but went today for the crafters market and it was fabulous. Really enjoyed the day and the historical buildings on site. The grounds are so clean and well kept.

A smaller market with local businesses around. A variety of different products from sweets, pizza and beer/Seltzer from the surrounding breweries. Lots of parking and donations to towards the local museum. Located off of hwy 21 and in a parking lot for ease of walking around. Several different gluten free options offered, although limited. #localguides

I love grand bend market but I called the number and asked a question and the customer service was terrible, the lady on the phone had a very negative tone and made me feel stupid for asking a very simple question.

I called this place and the lady on the phone was super rude. I asked what her hours were and she said in the rudest tone “What hours are you talking about.” What???? Maybe the farmers market???

Great little market, It has a little bit of everything for the whole family. Lots of vendors and prices are reasonable. When you enter you have to pay a Dollar person at the gate, When your done going to all the vendors you can buy some fries or other food truck food.

Great selection of fresh produce, local artisans, antiques and a bit of everything! Also live entertainment with my glass of wine!

Visited Grand Bend this past weekend with a group of 10 friends and we decided to check out Dale’s Antiques - and we all walked out with something or other purchased! Prices for antiques varied but seemed reasonable. Lots of stuff to peruse. Make sure to check out the backyard as well - there are amazing pieces of inexpensive raw wood in various sizes that you can buy for DIYs or other projects. Enjoyed checking this place out a lot.

Nostalgia around every corner. Well preserved old finds and new, beautiful furniture and home decor. A must see!

I visited this establishment with my girlfriend whilst in Grand Bend ( my sister lives here) and what a gem of an antique store. We spent quite a long time here as there is so much to see and look at. We ended up buying some charming salt and pepper shakers,an old ashtray, some railway signs and some red lenses for railway signal crossings ( that was a huge bonus) . Outside in the back they had a nice selection of live edge boards and other lumber.... fabulous. I will be visiting again next time I'm in Grand Bend.

We tried the classic breakfast with toast, on the side fluffy pancakes with local maple syrup, and treated ourselves to a matcha pistachio latte and a Mexican mocha latte — everything was delicious and beautifully presented! A special shoutout to our waitress, Hailey, who made the whole experience even better. She was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Grand Bend Beach is absolutely beautiful! the sand is soft, and the atmosphere is perfect for a summer day. There are plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, and little stores nearby, so it’s easy to grab food or snacks. The sunsets here are breathtaking — definitely worth staying until the evening. It can get busy during weekends, so arriving early is a good idea. Overall, it’s one of the best beaches in Ontario for families, couples, or even solo visits. also parking is FREE after 6 PM

The beach is beautiful, clean and has a lot of activities you can do. Swimming, rafting, playing volleyball all are available I went with my friends in a beautiful sunny day and we enjoyed all these activities. From the beach you can walk in entertainment street to eat, drink and to do extra activities The place is great particularly in the summer weekends and must be visited

We loved climbing the scenic tourism hills for breathtaking panoramic views and visiting the charming historic lighthouse. The vibrant main street is full of great restaurants, cute shops, and ice cream parlors. The Art Gallery Beach adds a nice cultural touch to the natural beauty. It's the perfect destination for families, couples, or anyone looking to relax by beautiful waters. Highly recommended for a summer day trip or weekend getaway!

Great Spot for Swimming and Relaxation This is a great place for swimming the water is clean and you can feel the soft sand beneath your feet while swimming. Lots of nice sandy area where you can relax and enjoy the warmth. There’s a beautiful walking market where you can buy food, clothing, and more. The market has a charming 1950s vibe that adds to the experience. You can also rent boats and jet skis for around $150 per hour. The only downside is parking-it costs $8 per hour, and it can be challenging to find a spot close to the beach.

Street parking is $6 for 2 hours. Beach was pack with patrons but still have walking space. Not dog friendly so please leave furry friends at home. Enjoy a sunbathing here and not needing to fly to Bahamas. Plenty of drinks, ice cream and restaurants to fill your tummy after. The city should banned aggressive dogs on sidewalks.

I visited Grand Bend and had an amazing time! The place was absolutely worth the 1.5-hour drive. The beach was beautiful, the views were stunning, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I also took some great photos—it’s such a photogenic spot! Highly recommend it for a fun day trip or a peaceful escape from the city.

The wooden facade, plastic chairs with umbrellas for both indoor/outdoor dining were invitingly an easy choice for a beachfront vibe along Main Street. A late dinner for us with some salad, pastas, burgers, wings and steak. It’s also the closest to view the sunset before heading back to the parking lot. I’d definitely want to come back again.

Their salads are why I came. I could eat there every day and not get bored. It was a hard choice to make but I ultimately got the beet salad. Next time I have to try the pear salad. The greens were fresh and delicious. The fries were not great. They tasted better than they looked but they looked like what remains on the bottom of the batch. Service was average but the food came out quickly and views were stunning.

Hands down the BEST seafood pasta I’ve ever had – rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection! 🦐🍝 The whole place gives off major Aloha vibes 🌺🌴— super chill, tropical, and just what you need to escape the usual. Also, don’t sleep on their drinks! 🍹✨ Whether you’re into cocktails or mocktails, they get so creative with flavors and presentation. 10/10 for taste and vibes. Definitely coming back!

Fun place to have a quick bite or drink next to a beautiful beach. My go to is always fish and chips (fries). They do need to change up the fries. They were not good at all very small pieces and over cooked. The fish was good and seemed a little over cooked as well. Instead of haddock maybe try halibut instead or both on the menu add some fun unique types of light seasoning when done cooking to make part of the atmosphere can be a big hit with visitors and diners. Prices for appetizers vs portion amount was a little high. Just a little TLC with menu portions and flavours would go a long way. It is our go to spot but really like if they took some of this feedback and made some small changes that would make a big improvement.

The restaurant is serving seafood and different kind of drinks which really taste good. Its location is the best in the place as it is located directly beside the beach with a very beautiful view. The place also has a very special vibes and design which make it more joyful. I went with my friends and we enjoyed all the choices. The place is highly recommended for anyone visiting grand Beach

Cool diner spot. Stopped for ice cream, with the usual flavors. Portion sizes I would day are small-medium (In comparison to Baskins). Nice seating area outside for patrons of the dinner and ice creamery. Side note, the single scoop was Coconut And Cream, which we believe was a different flavor (Maple-Pecan/Biscoff type flavour)

Great customer service! Staff were friendly and efficient. There were 11 of us and our orders arrived in a reasonable time. I had a scoop of Pralines & Cream and the Pistacchio Almond. Loved it!! It has been our tradition to buy their ice cream whenever we are in Grand Bend. The quality and taste never changes. Nice way to end the day. Highly recommended.

Their ice cream is generous, creamy, and full of flavor, especially pralines & cream and dipped cones. absolutely love this place! very popular and such a good vibe.. especially with their beautiful patio!! you can tell the owners care about their customers, as they have great customer service. the food was great, specially their burgers and loaded baked potato fries they were a 10/10. and the ice cream was delicious!! my favourite is their cookie monster and my mom got the strawberry sundae with nuts, she loved it. definitely highly recommended

The overall experience was outstanding, I come here every summer and it never disappoints! I love the staff here, they are always SO friendly and kind to me and my family. The food is 10/10, especially the long board pizza, definitely recommend. There is a wide variety of ice cream flavours to choose from, and all of them look amazing. Disregard the bad reviews, they are being too harsh on the staff which is mostly students and wait times which can be expected since it is the most popular place in town! Love it ! It is a must visit while in grand bend!

The Dairy Dip & Pizza Place is hands down the best spot on Main St.! Their food is fantastic, especially the pizza, and their dipped cones are delicious also, with plenty of different ice creams and dips to choose from! What sets this place apart, though, is the patio. It’s massive, with many different spots to sit and games for kids to play. Plus, it’s in the best location, a few steps away from the beach. This is a must-visit when in Grand Bend. I can’t wait to come back again (probably tomorrow!).

A must stop visit if you’re ever in town. Friendly staff, delicious ice cream and a fun seating area. Not too sure why people are giving reviews that appear quite harsh. It’s summer time and it’s the most popular ice cream shop on the strip….. You’re going to be waiting in line for a bit if it’s busy. Worth the wait :) PS The Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream is to die for.

This parasailing company was awesome from start to finish. It was so easy to set up the time on their website and then when we showed up the whole crew was amazing from the office lady on the main strip, to the lady who is organizing everybody at the water and then the two guys on our boat. Everyone was so friendly. It was a great experience and felt super safe.

Captain Shawn and his team delivered exceptional customer service -warm, welcoming and clearly experts at what they do. The parasailing itself was breathtaking. The takeoff and landing from the boat were unbelievably smooth and once you’re up in the air, it’s nothing short of magical. Peaceful, serene, and with the most stunning view of Grand Bend shoreline - it truly felt like flying. Safety was clearly a top priority throughout the entire experience, which made it all the more enjoyable. Captain Shawn’s skill and calm demeanor instantly put us at ease allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. If you’re anywhere near Grand Bend, this is something you absolutely need to add to your bucket list. An unforgettable adventure that I’d recommend to anyone!

Whatt an amazingggg experienceee it was!!! So it was my Bachelorette with my lovely ladiess at Grand Bend and this was the only activity we had planned. Our booking was for 26th July evening, but due to bad weather conditions the captain cancelled all the evening slots BUT they were so sweet they accomodated us on the very first slot the next day and also refunded some amount. The experienceee wasss insaneeee. I am talking aboutt 15 MINUTESSS in the air of total serenity and absolute blissss. A must try experinceeee..

This spot is truly a lovely place, boasting a clean, warm lake and an almost unbelievable tranquility. It's an ideal getaway for families. My initial weekend visit was overwhelmingly crowded, making it impossible to find a spot. However, returning on a weekday completely changed the experience; it was pure enjoyment from start to finish. I'll definitely be back, but only during the week, but weekends are a no-go for me.

Our parasailing experience was absolutely fantastic. You are taken care of every step of the way. The men were such gentlemen. We were on Boat # 2 and had Zachary as first mate. The driver was great and gave such a smooth experience with good music and vibes and Zachary was attentive and sweet. We would definitely do it again and highly recommend to anyone considering! Thank you again!!

Great place — very clean, well-maintained, and overall a really good experience. You can tell the business is run with care. The only issue is the lighting. They’re open until 11 PM, but after 8 or 9 PM, it gets quite dark. The small lights aren’t enough, and although there’s a halogen light, it wasn’t used. The last part of the game is hard to enjoy because of this. Fix the lighting, and it would be perfect.

While vacationing I had a great time at Mini golf. Very entertaining, the historical information was lovely as a visitor to the area. The mini historical house models in the course are fantastic! I felt like I was doing a fun historical tour & came out smarter!🤭 Good difficulty level to the putt greens & ppl are courteous if you take too long. The staff are helpful and get in quickly. Parking available on the beach stripe & walking distance from the beach front. Lots of restaurants in the area & stores. Pricing was reasonable for the course & not too crowded. Works for date night & time killer before dinner.

Nice 😊 and quick kids activities after long day in the beach in grand Bend and very decent price for just 10 dollars for each player. Try it.

We 3 friend went together and had a little competition on who scores better and we had a blast we enjoyed our time here. The courses are nice and challenging. If you are competitive just like us you will have fun. My friend destroyed the score card in the end so now we still don’t know who came 1st and 2nd😂😂 So keep the score card secure when you go here

Two rounds of eighteen holes for how much?? So much affordable, time limit less and fun and exciting venue! I had so much fun with ma ki-dult friends. Highly recommended

The course hasn't changed in years. Still a fun course to go on with kids. Unfortunately some holes look rundown with holes in wood caused by rot. Pricing was decent all considering, $8 a person, $7 USD. At the time it was not busy and allowed for family fun. #localguides

Beautiful place to go for drinks and food . It is so close to the main beach and you can see the water from the patio. Very nice and friendly staff. Drinks I would say are more on the pricey side $$$. There is parking beside this place , free after 6 pm . Very busy on the weekends.

Willie’s Beach Bar is the perfect spot to soak up the sun, sip on something cold, and enjoy the laid-back island vibe 🌴☀️. The atmosphere is unbeatable — breezy, lively, and always full of good energy. My granddaughter and I drove to Grand Bend for an outing. It wasn’t a great beach day so we had lunch at Willie’s. Upon entering we were greeted by a young woman that was friendly and welcoming. Our server was awesome. Wasps were out and she brought a little container of honey with an orange slice to try and distract them. The food was fantastic. Have to say I think it was the best burger I have ever had. Thank you for such wonderful service.

What a great time! We arrived with a group of 7, including kids, which isn't an easy table to sit but the staff were great and gave us many options. We started on the patio and when a rain storm came in, the staff quickly helped us and everyone else inside. The atmosphere was great and everyone inside was having a good time...young and old despite being a bit wet. The staff were all very friendly and seemed to also be enjoying themselves. Food and cocktails were fantastic too. We will definitely return.

I had such a great time at Willie’s! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the patio is honestly one of the best around. It’s spacious, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying a drink outside on a nice day. Mikenna made sure we were well taken care of, and the service was quick even when it got busy she was there to make sure we had everything we needed! Drinks were tasty and reasonably priced, and the food was just as good. Willie’s is definitely the kind of spot you’ll want to come too.

Came here on a recommendation and was very pleased with it all. The outdoor seating is pretty small so we opted to sit inside and didn’t have to wait for a table. Both The Gin Genie and Flowers 16 Cocktails were delicious. Highly recommended the whipped ricotta though it was a big portion for just two of us. The Chicken Lemonato and Ravioli Carbonara were both delicious as well.

Came down for a day trip with two of my friends and we all loved it, the aesthetic of this restaurant is incredible and the food was top notch! i ordered the pesto chicken sandwich and it was amazing and the caeser salad was peefecttt(my friend had te main st burger and he said he loved it aswell)

Visited on a sunny Saturday afternoon after the rush hour for drinks after seeing an instagram post. We grabbed a seat by the sidewalk to observe all the passersby. You can also see people enjoying themselves in the water from a distance. The vibe can’t get better! The local beer and the cocktail my server picked for me are both great. We only ordered a crab cake to munch on and it’s very well seasoned. I am sure this place will be packed as our weather turns warmer, so you might want to time your visit right to avoid the crowds.

Wow! What a hidden gem! My wife her sister and my brother-in-law brought me to The Tipsy Pelican in Grand Bend with little to no expectations. It looks like you’re a typical young person’s cool bar and I was hesitant to order anything other than an appetizer but wow.! Hats off to this menu! Everything was incredible! I had the beef souvlaki appetizer and it was out of this world good! This competes with and is better than most food in Toronto! Keep it up! What a delightful surprise!!!

5/5 for this tiny shop. The staff was super friendly. The firecracker shrimp taco was a bang on, they put corn, pickled onions and coleslaw. The portion size is enough for 2 people. They give French fries with their tacos and burgers which was a surprise and these fries are to die for. They was best eaten when they are hot. They are thick cut but delicious. For someone who doesn’t like too much of salt in their fries just let them know beforehand.

Got the Big Kahuna for Lunch and it definitely comes by the name honestly. Size in unbelieveable. Flavors incredible. So filling couldn't do the fries that come with. If your in grand bend and looking for an incredible chicken burger and are really hungry you want the big Kahana from Twisted Hook.

Food looks super delicious but taste is not that good. And surely not according to that high prices. We tried all kinds of fries.. but probably the oil they used to fry it, was so old and that's why it tasted weird. It just gave good look with expensive prices. The atmosphere is good with loud music and lots of fun people around. It was okay kinda store, won't go there again.

Out of all the food spots on this street I am very glad I stopped here. Pulled pork tacos were absolutely unreal and the perch tacos are the best I've had. Food was fresh and perch is local caught daily. Staff was very kind and had great suggestions. I highly recommend The Twisted Hook.

Fries were on the salty side, portion sizes seemed small (it was Canada Day weekend), otherwise nice to grab a quick bite on the way to the lakeside. Parking costs 7.35 for the hour, if you drove in to Grand beach.

Delicious food and great customer service. I struggle with celiac disease and pretty much everything here was gluten free and safe for me to eat. Definitely coming back!

Kurtis is the man! Holy cow! Good thing we stopped by, chicken kahuna is amazing! The shrimp is bomb! Kid loves the fries!!!

It was a lovely day to walk around the market. There was something for everyone. Lots of vendors... My favourite food fender was the apple fritters...so darn good. Worth the wait in the line up. 🌞

Mobility impaired accessible, ample parking, $2 fee for entry / parking at time of visit. Market operating Saturdays only during the summer season. One should expect crowds. Open air market, so be aware of weather. Market offers numerous vendors for produce, foods, antiques, clothing, decor and much more. Washrooms onsite. Many vendors accept digital payment but one may wish to bring cash.

So many great vendors all in one place along with a variety of food trucks. and honestly with the number of people that are there the way they have the parking set up is pretty awesome. I highly recommend visiting the binary market if you are in the area, it only cost two dollars a person to get in.

Eclectic market in the middle of nowhere, with a variety of market vendors. $2 per head entry, loads of parking, we'll worth a visit, lots of vendors of all kinds, plenty of food options including food trucks, you can easily spend a few hours here. Shout out to the kettle corn vendor that stuff is like crack 😋 (apparently thats the secret ingredient 😉 )

Such a cute and cozy spot! So happy my girlfriends and I decided to check this place out this past weekend during our visit to Grand Bend. The ambiance, service and food were all perfect. Each one of us left satisfied. Would definitely love to come back here again!

Excellent food. Attentive and careful service. Cozy atmosphere (tent outside with tinkley lights, white linen tablecloth and napkins etc. Pictured are chocolate mousse, coconut cream pie and pistachio gelato chocolate chip cookie sandwich (all house made). Lamb bolognese and a buttermilk fried chicken Buddah bowl and Caesar salad with a homemade parmesan bread stick (instead of croutons). The breadstick was an awesome twist on the traditional crouton or breadstick. It was hot, crispy on the outside and soft/pillowy on the inside. Yum!

Quaint little restaurant located along the main street through town. Good choice of appetizers, mains and deserts. We shared a ceasar salad that was amazing, my wife had the veal scallopine but was more a cutlet, came with gnocchi and tomato sauce, I had the tenderloin special and we finished off with the key lime pie. It is a very FINE restaurant. Must try when you visit Grand Bend. Food takes time but it is very delicious. Good things come to those who wait they say. Service is not bad. Make sure you book a reservation. Also, their desserts. Not a sweet tooth but the mousse that we got 👍🏻👍🏻

Food was amazing. We were under the tent in a torrential downpour but the service and food well made up for the bad weather. The waitress informed us that there were only 2 bowls of chowder left.......and we took them both! Yummy. Will definitely go back when we are in Grand Bend again.

Walk in for a rare date night with husband ona reservation. 7 tables open inside alone. We are directed to a little table right by the door. We asked for any other table please, and the hostess went to check in the back. Somehow not at the reservation book up front. Came back and said no - sorry you have to sit here .So there we sat. Food was okay. Appetizer was lukewarm. We got accidentally bumped into by the next three tables that came in and sat elsewhere, an upper room, or out on the patio. Took an hour and 45 minutes while at least 3 of the tables across from us sat empty throughout. Seriously poor marks for inconsiderate service ….

I recently checked out Midori Sushi in Grand Bend, and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The Blueberry Hoisin Habanero wings were a standout—perfect balance of sweet and mild heat, with a surprise crunch from the candied fennel. The wings were absolutely massive too! The shrimp tempura was light and crispy, just melting in your mouth. The sushi was top-notch, especially the Over the Rainbow Roll—fresh tuna, salmon, and avocado. Don't skip on this roll. The Dynamite and Pay It Forward Rolls are a MUST TRY too. To finish, we had mochi balls for dessert, and they were delicious. Great service and a fantastic spot for sushi lovers. I’ll definitely be back!

Small sushi restaurant in Grand Bend. Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. Inside they have a few tables. I booked a reservation prior to coming and recommend that anyone else do the same. We were served by Steele. Steele had excellent knowledge of the menu, and made great recommendations. He was also prompt with any requests we made. Midori has a unique drink menu which peaked my interest as I was eager to try the local wines. Directly outside the restaurant you will find limited street parking. The restaurant is very close to the main strip in Grand Bend and within walking distance to most places. Overall, it was a great experience and will be returning if ever in Grand Bend and in the mood for sushi.

This was our first visit to Midori with our friends and we loved it!! They guys had the chicken burgers with tempura sweet potato which was absolutely delicious and we shared the 2 sushi dishes. We started with the tornado potato and the wings for apps they were so good and the sauce is not hot or spicy it’s a perfect combination of flavours! We checked out the oyster bar downstairs such a cool vibe! We will definitely be coming back again❤️

Had lunch today. I have to say the sushi was incredible. We had the dumplings and vegetable Tempura as an appetizer. Dumplings were ethically delicious. Tempura was made to perfection. They even had tempura asparagus. The specialty rolls we had were the Big Dill, Dynamite, One Love with spicy mayo instead of the curry, and Mount Fuji. Presentation was beautiful and taste was outstanding. Each roll was different, and super flavourful. Sarah, our server was very attentive and friendly. Her menu suggestions were top-notch. Well, worth the money spent. And the drinks were delicious lol. We each had two. We’ll definitely return. Also very happy that they’re open round since we are locals. Kudos to the chef.

We booked a table for our anniversary and we very pleased. Normally we would have dined on the lower patio but it was a bit rainy. The indoor dining area is tired and lacks a warm and cosy atmosphere. It is quite noisy and makes conversation difficult. Ot just needs a good renovation with something on the floor to deadening the sounds from other di news. Apart from that the sushi was delicious fresh and nicely presented. We enjoyed some wine and Sapporo on tap. Taylor our server could not have been nicer. She was helpful with our order and was charming and engaging and a real asset to the establishment! She even decorated our dessert platter with an anniversary wish herself! In short she made our dinner a real special event. Of course we would recommend this as a dining option and hope to return again soon. If you like sushi it is the best you can get in the area!

This was our first time at Midori Sushi! This adorable restaurant is located a few steps from the main strip. The back patio was the perfect location for lunch! Our server was excellent! The food and drinks arrived quickly and were delicious! We’ll definitely be back!

Great sushi and lovely ambience! This place comes on the way to Pinery Provincial Park and Grand Bend. We had mango salad which was delicious and well presented. The portion sizes were appropriate. Ambience inside the restaurant was average but they have made a very cute garden with swings on the outside along with patio. Can keep going back to this cute little place.

Really beautiful area. The light house itself is a little underwhelming. The photo is close to the lighthouse, it's really small. Great overlook for sunset photos.

Great! Magnificent! Beautiful ! Go early to avoid the crowds for parking . What a nice beautiful day at the beach we had. Thank you to the municipal staff for being diligent with the cleaning. Lots of law enforcement as well so keep your drinks in red cups.

the beach and water were not very clean. the lighthouse does not look well-groomed, looking at it you can tell that no one has been serving it for several years. here is a very beautiful sunset, a lot of people gather to see it in the evening. the sun sets right into the lake. very small beach to relax. why halfThe beach is overgrown with komysh and grass, and all this is fenced. don't want to visit it again.

Lighthouse where you get to see all the boats and seadoo come in and out of dock. There is chairs to sit down and enjoy the breeze.

Stopped in here while we were visiting Grand Bend. This is a great store for your female companions. They have tons of unique items, we always leave with few items, big or small. This place has been here for ever. They also have a location on the strip in Grand Bend, bit this location is much larger and has more select. It is easy to spot from the highway and they have plenty of parking on site. Enjoy the shopping experience!

We visited on Canada Day. There's plenty of parking and the store was not busy at all. There is an assortment of nautical and cottage decor and sculptures at reasonable prices. You also had women's summer wear like dresses, light jackets and tank tops. There's a large selection of jewelry.

Love this place. Has lots of little oddities and souvenirs if you're visiting grandbend. I also like getting my earrings from here as well as rings. It's definitely worth stopping in for a little look around if you're in the area.

Stopped in this location recently on a road trip the prices were amazing and the store is very clean and well stocked. I mentioned a sign at the road to the owner because I only saw the place when I looked over I didn't realize there was a sign but it's hard to see because of the power station next door.

I LOVE this store! However, this location (main on #21) is pretty sweet for the odds and ends. I love the clothing that they source from all over. I just wish they would offer some a bit bigger than Small and Medium; doesn't have to be overly large, but something in "regular girl size". Overall, I absolutely love visiting this shop, it never gets old. Be sure to check out BOTH locations! The one on the strip has more clothing options!

Very nice atmosphere. We had our breakfast there, the service and food was great. I would love to come back again and recommend the café to family and friends.

Update 2024 - I've been coming every year for several years. I still love this little Cafe but the quality has dropped. My potatoes were soggy and cold and the cereal that came on the kids board was soft and very very stale. You guys are awesome and I think the Cafe is a beautiful little gem, please keep up with the standards you previously had. Absolutely adorable little Cafe. Go early!! We went at 9am on a Saturday and blueberry muffins were already sold out. Scones were great, we got cheese and strawberry rhubarb, raspberry turnover is a must, lemonade was perfect and not too sweet which we really liked. Only disappointment were the croissants. They're more of a soft bready texture but proper traditional croissants are super flaky, theirs weren't bad but don't go in expecting the french style ones. Great service and smiling faces as well. We really liked it.

Fantastic breakfast in Grand Bend. Delicious food and coffee. We sat by the river in the sun. Lovely staff. Save room for some baked good, perhaps takeaway.

Wide variety of cafe food and drink options. Recommend the fresh baked goods and any of the lattes. The interior is super cute with lots of goods for purchase. Compared to other coffee shops in town, this is the best

Other than the extraordinary price of $12 to add a fried eggs to our 2 ham & swiss croissants, this was a lovely experience in holiday. Staff were well organized to handle the line, neatly dressed the same, catered to all questions. Bathrooms are cute individual rooms! Wasp traps may be needed in August around all that amazing food.

So we visited Riverview pizza for lunch after our swim and the beach and we were not disappointed. We very greeted and seated by our hostesses who was warm and welcoming. We ordered 2 large pizzas, a pound of wings, some garlic bread and a kids pizza.(which was served with a side of fries.) The pizzas took about 20-25 mins but they when they arrived I realised why they took so much time. The pizzas were freshly made and they were both delicious. The wings were decent too. It also made me happy to know that this was a family owned business and this was being operated since 30 years. Kudos for keeping the quality intact. I'll definitely visit again when I visit Grand Bend.

Pizza here is excellent! And love their spinach salad! The staff is friendly and prompt. Setting is comfortable and cozy. Only complaint is that washroom needs a deep cleaning and paint job. Otherwise always a great experience!

We ordered Veggie Wings (breaded cauliflower bites) with Fire & Ice sauce - these were perfectly cooked and the sauce was the right mix of sweet and spicy. We followed that with a large Deluxe pizza, which was just the right amount of pizza for four people. The stone-baked crust was so good! It was pizza worth eating with a fork and knife. Highly recommended!

The wings are great really crispy and a good size. I'll be coming back for those and try a couple other things out. Just preference but I wasn't fussy on the pizza, the crust was too bread like and there's a spice in the sauce or meat that gave me wicked heartburn. It's a preference thing regardless. The quality was there.

Visited this pizzeria for lunch while in town for the day. This was off season so the place was not too busy. Staff were very attentive, helpful and pleasant. Food was amazing. Have had pizza all over the world and this was excellent. Also came with wings which were also wonderful. Overall a great place in town for pizza. Would recommend.

This is such a great place to dine in the lovely town of Grand Bend. We went to have an early dinner during a long weekend.Their great menu is the reason we chose this place with plenty of shareable options, appetizers,wraps,pastas and sides.we were greeted by the host/server who was really nice and attentive.We ordered English style fish and chips accompanied by curry sauce as an extra side, and south western style grilled chicken wrap with coleslaw. The quantity of both the dishes were a lot for both of us to finish. Everything tasted so delicious, flavors balanced to perfection, ingredients were fresh and the house special curry sauce was out of this world . You have the option of replacing the default sides with other sides in the menu(prices may or may not apply). For the beverages we ordered the IPA and brown ale, which were good too. If not for the natural beauty of Grand bend, the Paddington pub is surely a reason to visit the town. Thank you for the great service.

This pub is a cute and quaint place. We enjoyed our food - the prices were high but the portions were worth it. Veggie burger was one of the best I've ever had. The cocktails were great. Our server Tonya was wonderful!

We got here at 11:30 when they opened up and our server was the best. We had fish n chips as it is a special on Thursdays and a buffalo chicken wrap. Best fish n chips I've ever had and big portions as well. Very pleased as we drove into Grand Bend and it was our first time at this pub. Will come again if in grand bend!

Really friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating. The room is small but very quaint and homey. Food is excellent, approachable menu, lots of choice. You can definitely see someone in the kitchen is cooking with care. Food was tasty and extremely well prepared pub food. We had a lot of kids with us and they made us all feeble welcomed and comfortable. Absolutely check this place out.

Everything was excellent. Food definitely made from scratch and with high quality ingredients. The hot cheese dip was so good. The burger was delicious and my wife had the pear and candied walnut salad. So nice to find a quality restaurant in Grand Bend.

Stopped in here on a whim today as we were just driving by. Usually I have these things pre planned but today I walked in with zero expectations. We were just leaving the beach & had a group of 11. So I wasn’t expecting to get in anywhere without a reservation. But the back patio was wide open & fit us all! The staff was all so amazing. I can’t say enough about our waitress either. She was dynamite! The food took about 40 min. Which was absolutely understandable. We were a big group on a random Monday so they were doing their best. All of our food was piping hot & the portions were great!! They had a lot of unique items to choose from as well. We started with the cheese dip. It was served with garlic naan and it was huge hit with everyone! I would recommend ordering extra naan with it tho. For the main I went with the fried haddock & basmati rice. It was so delicious! Highly recommend. My husband had the Buffalo wrap which was also amazing. They didn’t use franks hot sauce & so many places do! So it was a nice change. Our son went with the chicken finger meal & it was a ton of food! Pretty standard meal but the portion was great. Overall it was a wonderful experience & definitely recommend checking out this little gem if you’re in the area.

I enjoyed the golf course here. It is nine holes and well tended and a bit of a challenge with its varied mixture of elevations. The rooms, at least in our building, did leave much to be desired. They were fairly clean but very long in the renovation tooth. It was almost a time capsule back to the eighties. What we did not like were the fees and gratuities pushed onto our bill. In no universe would I tip 18% for a buffet breakfast, but there we are. We are unsure if we'll return. The location is convenient if you're visiting Grand Bend or Bayfield and the beach access is a bonus, but if you're not a golfer there are certainly other options.

We just had a wonderful mini getaway at the Oakwood. Everything was great, the staff at the front desk were so helpful and friendly. Kids really enjoyed the pool and access to the beach. Only feedback is the breakfast buffet. It’s good but pretty basic. With it being summer would have loved to see more seasonal fruit and vegetables. Eggs were definitely from a bag and not farm fresh. With being so close to many amazing farms only feedback is to showcase them.

The Oakwood has a lot going for it. The location is excellent, just steps from Main Street in Grand Bend, with a family-friendly atmosphere, access to a private beach, and the convenience of an indoor pool. On paper, it seems like a great resort. However, after experiencing other Ontario resorts at a similar price point, I would not choose to return. The property feels dated, which could be overlooked if the rooms and common areas were maintained to a higher standard of cleanliness and care. Unfortunately, that was not the case during our stay. We arrived to find a bathroom with a strong mildew smell from an old shower curtain, a broken tissue box holder that gave a poor impression, broken coffee maker, a fridge that had not been cleaned and was covered in food residue, an outdoor table littered with cigarette ashes, and bedding with visible makeup stains. When I raised these concerns at check-out, I was told there is a phone number to call for assistance. This number is not shared during check-in, nor is it available in the rooms, which makes it difficult to address problems as they arise. Falling back on a waiver signed at check-in does not substitute for good communication. At the very least, staff could share this information clearly upon arrival or provide it in the rooms so guests know how to get help. For those looking to spend their money wisely, alternatives such as Blue Mountain Resort offer a far better experience at a similar cost. Blue Mountain provides more amenities, more activities, and the added benefit of a full kitchen, which makes for a much more enjoyable and convenient stay. Overall, Oakwood has potential, but until greater attention is given to cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service, it falls short of what guests should expect at this price point.

This place has so much potential to be amazing. Great beachfront, fun little golf course and great areas outside the rooms to gather with friends and family to hangout. Unfortunately the rooms are very outdated and in need of a refresh. We got dirty towels brought to our room to replace the ones we used to dry the leak in our bathroom. (Just bring clean towels, is that too much to ask) The golf course is very nice and we enjoyed playing the nine holes. (Especially the tee boxes for hole 1 and 5) great views. We had such a great time at this resort for our family reunion but it can be one of the nicest places if they fix the rooms, improve cleanliness and have the beach area cleaned.

I recently stayed here for a casual weekend away. The staff were wonderful, very friendly, informative and professional. During our check in one staff member was dealing with a guest making unrealistic demands and he did a fantastic job remaining calm and professional. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. The private beach access was the highlight for us, it was a very short walk from the resort and did not have nearly the crowd that the public beach had. We had dinner at the pub one night. Staff were very friendly, food was just okay. We stayed in the same building that the pool is located. We found the building and room to be a bit dated. The room was clean and had everything we needed, but the carpeting throughout the room and building is full of stains and needs to be replaced. The room was very spacious with high ceilings and we liked having access to a balcony. It had a separate/second sink which was very convenient for making coffee. Parking was free!! We were in and out over the weekend and always found a spot in front of the building. I found hallway traffic to be louder than normal compared to other hotels, earplugs helped to manage that though.

Beautiful beach and relaxing resort The beach at Oakwood Resort was one of the best we’ve visited in Ontario — clean, sandy, and perfect for families. The resort grounds were beautiful, peaceful, safe vibe , great for kids. The rooms were just okay. They could really use an update, especially the carpets 😀. We didn’t try much from the hotel restaurants since they closed early — just had an appetizer, which was average. Service and check-in were smooth and friendly. We’ll probably return for the amazing beach, the relaxing atmosphere, and how close it is to downtown Grand Bend, which had great energy and music late into the night.

This property is a great location as it is close to Grand Bend. The property is big with a golf course, pub and access to a beach. The property is rustic; however, it could use some updates. The breakfast was good with lots of options. The downfalls of this property are the access to the beach as you have to walk down a road and then a walkway. The beach isn't private or maintained. There are lots of rocks and sticks and no washroom facilities. When I asked the young man in the golf cart about washrooms, he said use the lake. The resort also charges a mandatory tip after check out, meanwhile it asks for a tip when booking. Therefore, we paid tips twice. This resort wasn't worth $500 for the night and is probably a 3 star quality.
