A very interesting medieval site but there is archaeological work in the prehistoric section so you can't really see the namesake site of the Magdalenian period. I visited this cave last year and 4 years ago. The train takes you into the heart of the cliff in the dark, then the guide illuminates the cave showing the drawings one by one until finally you get off and appreciate the large room with the famous mammoths on the ceiling. UNBELIEVABLE. ONE OF THE BEST EVER AND LESS KNOWN. I would return again!
