Bryce Canyon National Park is a natural wonderland of spectacular geologic features, including the famed ‘hoodoos’, or rock spires. The Bryce Canyon Lodge offers comfortable accommodations for visitors who want to spend more time in the park.
With favorites like Canyon Diner, Ruby's Inn Cowboy's Buffet & Steak Room, and Ruby's ATV Tours, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. Park
The Bryce Canyon National Park Visitor Center is a comprehensive facility offering ranger assistance, a bookstore, exhibits, and an award-winning film. It's the perfect starting point for visitors eager to explore the park's unique features. The center provides multimedia exhibits, Wi-Fi access, maps, and backcountry camping permits for sale. Additionally, there's a gift shop supporting park programs and conservation efforts.
There aren’t enough stars for this park. So many doable hikes. Excellent multi use trail. Dogs allowed on concrete trail that runs along the main area. Sunset to sunrise and allowed at most viewpoints. Parking is an issue but if you just get up and go early it isn’t an option. Drive the whole 17 miles because it’s breathtaking. We hiked the Queen Trail with the Navajo trail. There are no words. Every turn presents a chance for the next best shot. The Queen and Navajo trail took us three hours. There are longer ones but this one was perfect. Too many pics to choose from.

Clean bathroom, great large gift shop, helpful, friendly, people to advise you on your trip & get information. We brought bikes, they have a nice bike path along the Bryce Canyon amphitheater, so you don't have to deal with parking. All day parking across from the visitor center. We also locked our bikes up & did the Navajo Trail Loop. It is breathtaking & magical. Make sure you go to the toilet before, they don't have them at the bottom. 😀 Do take water & maybe snack, a hat, Sun glasses & sunscreen. Good hiking shoes, I wore my keens and they did great.

🧡 Bryce Canyon National Park: Nature’s Amphitheater of Awe- Bryce Canyon isn’t a canyon—it’s a celestial amphitheater carved by time and frost, where thousands of hoodoos rise like fiery spires from the earth. The park’s palette shifts from soft pinks to blazing oranges, especially at sunrise from viewpoints like Bryce Point and Sunrise Point. Trails like Navajo Loop and Queen’s Garden wind through the formations, offering close encounters with these surreal sandstone sculptures. Despite its grandeur, Bryce feels intimate—quiet, otherworldly, and deeply poetic. Whether you're stargazing under pristine skies or tracing the rim with wonder, Bryce Canyon is a symphony of stone and silence.
Daisy L — Google review
I wasn’t prepared for how otherworldly Bryce Canyon feels. The air is crisp and carries a faint scent of pine, and those towering hoodoos seem almost alive in the morning light. The trails twist through red and gold corridors that shift colors as the sun climbs higher. It’s not just a place to look at — it’s one that quietly rearranges your sense of scale. Even after leaving, I kept finding bits of red dust on my shoes, like a small reminder that I’d walked somewhere ancient.
David P — Google review
Bryce Canyon is a favorite! We love to boondock in Dixie national park, and it’s a short drive over to a super unique and beautiful nation park! We love sunset point and sunrise point in the amphitheater, and our favorite hike we recommend doing is “Wall Street” which I believe is just a mile roundtrip. There are switchbacks going down and then back up, but they’re graded nicely so it’s not a bad hike. And the views you see are incredible! We did a few other hikes, but it just didn’t feel as epic as Wall Street. It was a favorite for the kids too! Even our two old did most of the hiking. Also if you have kids, national parks have a junior ranger booklet you fill out for a cute wooden badge - all national parks have it! The prize is great, but we’ve learned so much about the parks we’ve been to working through the booklets so definitely recommend!
Rosalynne L — Google review
Amazing and beautiful national park. It does get very busy and parking in some of the hiking trails / lots can be very difficult. Arrive early, especially if you’re planning on doing any of the major trails (ex. Navajo or Queens Loop) as they’re packed by 9. We started our hikes at sunrise to ensure the best views and least amount of crowds. We also did the scenic drive in the late afternoon and saw amazing wildlife at dusk on the fields close to the visitor center.
Kenny R — Google review
Exceptional experience. We only had time to visit for a day, but you could easily spend a week here. So much to do and see to include hiking, camping, horseback riding. The hoodoos were amazing. Take one of the hikes to explore them up close. We’ll definitely be heading back in the near future. Get your National Park Pass before you come. Some things like campsites in the park are booked six months out.
Jaren P — Google review
Beautiful and easy access, make sure to hike to get best views and explore fully. There is great on site dining at the lodge and get a map at the visitor center. If you only have time for one hike do the queens garden/Navajo loop it’s a little over 3 miles steep down and gradual up starting at sunrise point

Lower Inspiration Point is a breathtaking vista located atop steep cliffs, providing visitors with stunning, unobstructed views of Bryce Canyon's main amphitheater. While this viewpoint offers a fantastic perspective of the canyon, many travelers recommend taking a short hike to Upper Inspiration Point for an even more spectacular view. The area is rich in wildlife; during my visit, I spotted chipmunks and deer roaming about. Although parking can be limited at Lower Inspiration Point, there’s convenient access via shuttle buses.
We visited Inspiration Point in Bryce Canyon National Park in the afternoon, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The vibrant colors of the hoodoos against the clear blue sky were truly stunning, making it one of the most memorable spots in the park. The elevated vantage point gave us a sweeping panorama of the amphitheater, showcasing the intricate rock formations in all their glory. In terms of accessibility, Inspiration Point is fairly easy to reach. There’s a parking lot nearby, and the walk to the viewpoint is short, although it does involve a slight uphill climb. Inspiration Point was definitely a highlight, and for us, it ranks as the second-best viewpoint in the park, right after Bryce Point. The afternoon light was perfect for photography, with the sun casting dramatic shadows on the rock formations. If you're visiting Bryce Canyon, this is a spot you can't miss! The peacefulness and the jaw-dropping scenery make it well worth the visit.
RAJAT J — Google review
Lower Inspiration Point is absolutely breathtaking. The view of the Bryce Amphitheater from this spot is unforgettable—towering hoodoos, vibrant colors, and dramatic cliffs that seem to stretch on forever. It’s less crowded than the main viewpoints, and the short walk makes it easily accessible without sacrificing any of the stunning scenery. Sunrise or sunset here is magical, with the changing light making the rocks glow in shades of orange, pink, and gold. A must-stop for anyone visiting Bryce Canyon, whether you're hiking or just soaking in the views.
Michael S — Google review
One of the must visit spots of Bryce canyon. You get a clear view of all the hoodoos of this park along with beautiful views all around. There's a board which shows the names of all the structures around and the names kind of make sense.
Pradeep N — Google review
We visited Bryce Canyon on July 4th and were pleasantly surprised that the park was not overly crowded, even on a holiday. The views were absolutely spectacular—this was our first time visiting, and it certainly lived up to expectations. For my wife and daughter, the experience was especially meaningful, as they are descendants of Ebenezer Bryce, the canyon’s namesake. That connection added a personal and memorable dimension to the trip. We hiked from Inspiration Point to Bryce Point and found the trail had a bit more of a roller-coaster feel than expected, with several elevation changes along the way. Still, it was a beautiful day and a stunning hike—well worth the effort.
Jon J — Google review
Beautiful viewpoint of in my opinion the most enchanting and beautiful National Park in the USA. The sunrise here was incredible. It is not really the sunset itself which is phenomenal, but it is the color spectacle created in the canyon. Just amazing!!!
Thibaud V — Google review
Some of the best views in the park by far. Parking fills up fast and the parking lot closed off at noon when we left. Take the shuttle or park further away and hike in if you can't get here early. The effort to park may be hard but the views are so worth it.
Alex M — Google review
Lower impression point is one of the highlights of Bryce Canyon. You can take your car or use the shuttle service. The views from lower impression point is breathtaking. We went to this point at night as well for star gazing and astrophotography. Parking could be an during holidays and rush hours. They have restrooms and water fountains to meet your urges

Bryce Canyon National Park's Sunset Point is a must-visit for its stunning views of the colorful rock formations and landscapes. The Rim Trail, stretching from Bryce Point to Fairyland Point, offers relatively easy hikes with spectacular views of the park's popular areas. Visitors can also enjoy the scenic drive that leads to Rainbow Point and Yovimpa Point at the very end of Bryce Canyon.
What a breathtaking experience. I have always wanted to come here after seeing beautiful pictures and videos over my life. I was not prepared for the grandeur and sheer volume of the natural wonder. Starting at Sunset Point, it was the beginning of a truly remarkable experience. Seeing the weathered and eroded rock sculptures in such a massive volume was breathtaking. As we progressed into the park, the views in each place simply grand. It was so windy up against the canyon walls, and so little away. A curious phenomenon, I did manage to lose my hat to canyon due to the wind. Careful of that when you go to see this for yourself. The Natural Bridge was remarkable and views from all points were awe inspiring.

I have always wanted to come to this place and never been to it and I've always lived pretty close to it. It was so awesome the views are epic! I really want to go back and do a lot of the hikes, especially the hikes that go down into the canyon seems so awesome.
Andrew B — Google review
Photographs don't do it justice. The feature of the scenery is unparalleled! The trails are well maintained but I do not recommend any that descend into the canyon for small children. Stick to the rim trails instead where railings are more plentiful. Altitude is 8100ft so you will notice the gradients. Bring water, trekking poles, hiking shoes and wear a hat & sunscreen! We arrived after labor day and had very little trouble finding parking so we didn't use the free shuttle. If you have time and are visiting during late spring-autumn, go early in the morning and come back again after 4 or 5 pm when the temperature are cooler. The park rangers were friendly and informative. Wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights.
Linda O — Google review
Definitely worth going for sunset. The place lights up and shadows blend into the light. The hoodoos are fascinating and you can walk a bit down from sunrise point to actually go within the hoodoos. I’d spend more time here than just sunrise and sunset next time and hike around.
Charu S — Google review
We were there in October 2025 , the last week before services ended. The weather was perfect. We are from Florida and in our 70s and the biggest question was which way to walk in order to not over do it . After reading a lot of review reviews and speaking to the Ranger we walked from Bryce Point to Inspiration Point. This walk was mostly downhill and very pleasant. I underestimated the time as we took much longer taking pictures looking and just enjoying the walk that I expected. From Inspiration Point , we waited for shuttle for about six minutes and went onto Sunset point. Sunset Point was much more crowded than any of the other areas, but was definitely worth seeing . From Sunset point to Sunrise Point it is an easy paved walk approximately .7 miles. It should be noted that Sunset Point parking lot appeared to be full. Take the shuttle and park in the over flow lot just inside the park or at the shuttle parking lot in Bryce town . The shuttles run ever 15 minutes and make a loop. The shuttles were on time and the shuttle drivers were pleasant and very informative. I will go back and spend more time in Bryce Canyon in the future. We drove into the park from Kanab you might want to take the time to look at Red Canyon which you drive through on your way in.
Hunt W — Google review
Just like the Sunrise point, this is worth the evening walk out. Stunning, empowering, awe-inspiring, and HOODOO's! So many, Thors hammer sticks out, but every one of them gave me a smile. I would bet they will give you one too. Bring someone you want to enjoy it with for an added experience, but they can be enjoyed just the same alone. We'll worth it.
Ryan M — Google review
I didn’t expect Bryce Canyon to feel so otherworldly. The air here has a quiet sharpness, and the colors shift constantly as the light drifts across the hoodoos. Walking the Rim Trail felt like tracing the edge of a dream—each turn opened a new geometry of stone and silence. Even with other visitors around, there’s a sense of personal discovery, as if the landscape is performing just for you. It’s not just beautiful—it’s oddly intimate, in a geological kind of way.
David P — Google review
When we arrived at Sunset Point around 8:00 am, the parking lot was already 70% full, showing how popular this spot is. From Sunset Point to Sunrise Point, we enjoyed a breathtaking walk, surrounded by the unique hoodoos and dramatic canyon colors. The beauty of Bryce Canyon made the visit unforgettable.

Nestled next to the Rim Trail, The Lodge at Bryce Canyon offers lodge-style accommodations with on-site dining and a gift shop. Their dinner menu features a variety of options including elk chili and seared Pacific salmon, with an emphasis on sustainable, organic ingredients. The lodge provides modern and comfortable rooms, suites, and cabins during the summer season within walking distance of the canyon's rim.
The Western Cabins at the Lodge at Bryce Canyon provided an exceptional stay! The location, just a 20-second walk from the Canyon will be something I’ll remember. We loved our stay and the traditional cabins were spacious and perfect for a one night stay. The night-sky, full of stars was lovely also. A huge thank you to Michael who looked after us at dinner in the Dining Room. We loved the dinner and chatting with Michael. Lots of great stories and we wish you all the best Mike! Hope to see you again!

The Lodge is centrally located great for all the hikes and lookout points such as sunset and sunrise point. We stayed in the cabins. There was no wifi in the cabins but the hotel building and central lodge area had wifi. The main building has a dining room with good food. The pizza place was awesome for lunch.

Dinners were surprisingly great and the location can't be beat. Mattresses could use a refresh and the breakfast buffet was missing a few things (like something to put on the oatmeal). All in all, a wonderful trip and well worth it to spend a few nights in such a magical place.
Erin K — Google review
Worst hotel of our 10 day tour! Room was very warm when we arrived but we couldn't seem to adjust the temp. We called downstairs & was told it was slow, give it 20 min. That did nothing so I went to the desk to ask for maintenance. Now they said the rooms don't have a/c! What? Then what were we waiting 20 minutes for? They suggested opening the window or door & putting on a fan. We are doing that but it's still too hot. Not what we were expecting at all! On top of that, our burger at dinner was way overcooked & the rooms are wicked dark - we needed to put on every light. We will be telling our tour operator. Will never come back to this hotel.
Nadine C — Google review
Nice hot shower and jet turbine of a toilet. Bed was comfy enough. The sunset and sunrise motels are a 5-10 min walk from the lodge restaurant and major trailheads. Also a couple minute drive from inspiration point and Bryce point. The lodge restaurant has been the most solid of any national park I've been to, a real breakfast and lunch menu rather than just hot dogs and chips. The servers were all super friendly too. Only knocks on the place are that the wifi was noticeably slow (240 to 360p video at best) and the wind blowing through the balcony door genuinely sounded like someone was walking on the balcony trying to jiggle the knob. Very much worth it overall because I could get up right before sunrise to see it, grab breakfast, and then change and get out on the trail bright and early.
Ronen V — Google review
We stopped here for breakfast before seeing (my personal first) view of the canyon. We chose buffet because we didn't want to carry leftovers. They had a tasty variety with bacon and oatmeal with coffee as my faves - plus coffee. Would definitely return next time around maybe for lunch or dinner next time. KaKay was super attentive and packed me a to go much appreciated coffee!

Booked the Sunset unit, 2nd floor. Authentic decor, comfortable bed and quaint balcony facing towards the canyon. Close to main lodge, restaurant and Sunset Point vista/trails. Wonderful experience. Would highly recommend.

Sunrise Point in Bryce Canyon National Park is a breathtaking overlook that showcases the park's iconic amphitheater and its striking russet rock hoodoo formations. Perched at an elevation of around 8,000 feet, this viewpoint is particularly popular during sunrise and sunset when the first light casts vibrant colors across the landscape.
This is by far one of my favorite places to visit. The hoodoos are so neat. We visited all 5 national parks in Utah and Bryce Canyon and Natural Arches were amazing. So stunning. Plan ahead and take your time to explore. You will never forget seeing this sight.
Jen P — Google review
The quick walk from the main parking lot isn't any worry and sunrise adds a bit more degrees of view out into the canyon. Its a nice panorama as you walk and look out. We even glimpsed a chipmunk go about its merry way and of course you see the folks out on the hike trekking down the worn footpaths.

Sunrise Point is absolutely breathtaking! Even in hot weather, the views are nothing short of stunning. The hoodoos stretch out in every direction, forming an incredible landscape of towering, colorful rock formations. What makes this spot extra special is how accessible it is—you can take in jaw-dropping scenery right from the parking lot without a long hike. It’s the perfect place to just pause, soak in the beauty, and admire the unique shapes and textures of the canyon. A must-see stop in Bryce!

If you're allergic to the vast beauty of the world skip this. Stunning, empowering, awe-inspiring. Get up early, dress WARM, and grab a coffee and be ready for a view that will set your day up on a good foot. Completely worth it.

Visiting Bryce Canyon felt like stepping into another planet sculpted by wind and patience. The amphitheaters of red and gold seem to glow differently every hour, as if the sun rehearses just for this landscape. Trails weave between spires that look delicate but feel eternal, and the air carries a crisp silence that slows your thoughts. It’s not the grandness alone that stays with you, but the quiet precision of nature’s design. I left with red dust on my shoes and calm in my head.

This National Park is beyond this world 🌎! I had the opportunity to visit this National Park, Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon National Park. I loved the three of them but this one captivated my heart every second I walked down the trails. It is like visiting another planet. I thought I was in Mars. I recommended everyone to visit it. You won't be dissapointed and will witness by yourself the magestic views it provides.
Alexander L — Google review
I did what the park rangers recommended as ‘figure eight’ hike, starting at sunrise point, passing queens garden, through peek-a-boo loop and back via Wall Street and Navajo trail, totally 6.7 miles with about 1600 ft elevation gain but no technical difficulty. Very scenic and views were ever-changing. In between two o of the figure eight there were plenty of nice picnic spots. Definitely helps with a pair of grippy hiking shoes as you go down some deeper slopes. Very interesting tree configs created by the harsh environment along the trail.

Sunrise Point is about a half mile walk from Sunset Point. Both sit along the Rim trail within Bryce Canyon. The views from here and all around, for that matter, are out of this world! Park your car at Sunset Point and take the views in from both overlooks.

It was a great experience. Laurie and Susan were amazing in guiding us through the trail. We saw a couple of wild animals and tge trail was short but sufficient.
MARWAH B — Google review
To preface, the people here seem like great people. I wouldn't recommend this tour to hardly anyone though. I did this in a group of 12 and I thought it was not worth the money. Because of a law they won't let you go faster than 20mph, and it feels soooo slow. The trail they take you on has a brief outlook over into the Bryce Canyon red rock area and the ENTIRE rest of the trip is slowly riding around sage brush fields and a hill with some bumps. This is not a Bryce Canyon tour, it's a tour through brown dirt fields. They make you go in a specific order and will stop you if you try and have fun and cut in front of someone else in your party or race them (I tried and got in trouble). It was dull. And expensive. Check out this video and you'll get the same adrenaline watching this as riding through it. It sums it up pretty good. But again, the people running the shack were funny and nice. They seem like great people, I just kept thinking how much I wish the other reviews would have mentioned these things before we spent all that money...

Such a fun ride! Friendly staff and great trails. Definitely suggest the ATVs for more experienced and confident drivers as it gets bumpy out there with tight turns. Lori did a great job guiding us and showing us all the animals and landmarks in the area. Stunning property!

Great experience. You get to drive around for around an hour, and experience a little bit of everything. For those who enjoy driving, there are some fast and slow corners, and different surfaces, and you drive through the water a couple of times. It also goes up and down hill. For those who want to learn about Canyon, you also stop at one point where you can enjoy the view, and the guide takes pictures of you and talks about the canyon and history of the area. And of course you get to see some of the animals in the area.

So much fun, highly recommended. You can drive solo or with others in your ATV. The staff were very helpful and provided a good amount of history about the location. The views were amazing.

Best part of our whole trip! We did the guided tour on a 2-seat RAZR and had a blast seeing a whole new side of Bryce Canyon City and amazing views of the canyon. Our guide had an eagle eye for the local wildlife and showed us wild pronghorn, mule deer, and ranch animals. It was beyond amazing and we'll be doing this again!

This was one of the best experiences my husband and I had. They see hundreds of people a day and they made us feel like we were the only people there. Our guide (Mark) was fantastic, patient and very knowledgeable about the area. Unfortunately, I don’t remember everyone else’s name at the rental place, but they were ALL fantastic and friendly people. My husband and I can’t wait to come back with our kids. Not only did we do the ATV tour, but we came back and rented bikes from them.

You need to be prepared that you will be "beat up" ! My husband and I rented a UTV in Hawaii where the ground is plush with crazy drop offs, etc. We weren't considering the terrain there in Sadona; dirt, hard ground and all the rocks on the trails. Don't get me wrong, it was fun. We did an all day rental: 8 hrs, and we still didn't go to all the trails we wanted to. You're not able to go super fast, because of the rocks and boulders. You are literally jarred and banging around the entire time. We went the end of June so it was stifling hot. They include a cooler with waters, plus we brought our own and drank every bit. We stopped several times to hike on trails and was a blast. We literally saw the biggest rattlesnake! Another cool trail to hike is the bridge. It's a rock that has formed into a bridge. It's a super fun hike getting to it. We took a 2 hour break for lunch at a divey bar and had delicious burgers. The staff at Ruby's are phenomenal. They are super accommodating and helpful.

A fun extra: you can even sleep in tipis, which makes it a unique experience! Overall, a convenient, clean, and welcoming spot to explore the area.

There is no doubt that Ruby's location to Bryce Canyon National Park is second to none. Your ability to drive into the park quickly at any time of day is a definite plus. For us, that was why we camped there. Our site was not spacious at all and not even close to being level. We had to use blocks under our stair supports because the drop off was so bad. We had a few cinder blocks and rocks as our fire ring, some sites only had holes in the ground. We did have full hook ups. The newer section of the park in the back looked much roomier, but with less trees. Choose your site carefully if you decide to stay here. Ruby's is a huge campus which includes the campground, lodge, shopping and restaurants. It had a very touristy vibe to us-somewhat like the Wisconsin Dells. If that is your thing than you will love it. There is nothing wrong with it, it is just not for us.

Ruby's, RV park and campground is right next to Bryce Canyon National Park. There are shuttle buses into the park each day and there is a stop right at the entrance to the campground. We stayed in the newest section of the campground. It was deluxe RV camping with full hookups and wide, level pull through driveway. Each site also had a fairly large grassy area for the campsite. There's a picnic table and firepit. The showers and toilet were very clean, in excellent condition. Great, hot water and water pressure. This is a great campground right next to Bryce Canyon, I highly recommend it. The picture of our truck and fifth wheel is site 227.

Recent stay in Oct. We had lot 221 in the back big rig lot and 116 in the older section. We enjoyed our stay very much. Every single person we encountered was very friendly and helpful. I liked the big lot because of the size of the lots; very quiet. Although the older section is very pretty with the trees, most of the lots seemed very close together. The laundry room was nice/clean and reasonable. At the last minute we had to extend our stay and a young man named Lloyd was very helpful. He spent a lot of time with us and was able to accommodate us in the overflow lot behind Ruby's Inn. My only negative comment would be that some items in the office/store are way overpriced. So make sure you have spare batteries and don't forget the fixin' for smores'. We would definitey stay here again.

We've been full time RVing 3 years and I honestly say Ruby's Inn RV park has the largest lot sites We've been. Nice lawn, built in fire pit , level gravel/dirt parking. Good hook ups. Nice clean laundry room . Nice employees, gifts, camp store. Some walking and hiking paths . No dog park but was allowed our dog off leash in open pasture located on both sides of the the campground. Ruby's is located near grocery store and restaurants and fairly close to the Bryce NP.

The campground is beautiful. Not sure that closing the back restroom/shower at 9am for cleaning is the best time. That's when everyone needs them! Also, there are no showers or changing rooms at the pool. I used that bathroom but there are NO hooks to hang your clothes. The store is very expensive. The people at check in were very nice and provided information on the shuttles and local places. Nice big sites and level.
Teresa M — Google review
We were here for 1 week. I have stayed at other places nearby and this is my favorite. bathrooms and showers were the best I have ever seen at a campground. Laundry was the perfect size, meaning even though it was busy, I could always find open machines. The store was always open when I needed it, even late. They have a very convenient shuttle. Rules that give order, but not overly strict. I can't wait to come again.

Location is perfect right outside Bryce state park entrance. It has a restaurant, Showers, laundry a little store for camping necessitates you may have forgotten. Full hookup which is very nice to have. Really enjoyed our stay.

Canyon Diner

3.4
(1045)
Fast food restaurant
Canyon Diner is a self-serve restaurant located just outside the entrance to Bryce Canyon. It offers American grab-and-go eats like burgers, nachos, pizza, chicken rice bowls, and more. The diner is known for its delicious and generously sized 15" pizzas with a thick yet crunchy crust and ample toppings. In addition to pizza, they also serve burgers, sandwiches, salads, and other tasty options. The service is fast and friendly with a clean dining environment.
Get the pizza, I had a western burger which was good, but my family shared the BBQ Chicken pizza and it was great. Place was clean, the workers are friendly, and good atmosphere.
Kael J — Google review
I've ordered the Chicken Basket and Shrimp Basket. The shrimp basket is better than the chicken, but honestly, neither is great. The pizzas appear to be the best thing on the menu. The fries aren't good; they're not crispy and often undercooked. The cookie is packaged, but soft and chewy. The service has always been helpful (and friendliness depends on who's at the counter). It's a casual diner setting, and there are some great outdoor tables that are typically in the shade - wind is the big variable. I haven't been impressed with the food here, and the prices are about the same as the Cowboy Buffet Steak Room next door, and you get a better experience there. To me, it's a no-brainer, just go to the steak room.
Dalton A — Google review
We were a little hesitant coming here based on the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was! The diner was not at all crowded, quite the opposite of the other restaurant in the same area. We ordered our food and found ourselves a nice little booth. The diner has the interior of a typical 70s diner - small tables, colorful bench type chairs. The menu is decent, but not the typical long menu characteristic of a diner. We got the 14 inch combination pizza for the two of us. In hindsight, a 7 inch pizza would also have been more than sufficient. The pizza was freshly made and quite solid in terms of taste and technique. The crust was perfect, not too thin, not too thick. There were tons of toppings. The only drawback was the lack of chili flakes and cheese packets anywhere in the diner. The lady at the counter was very nice and friendly. The pizza was cheap and lasted us two meals. We highly recommend coming here for pizza.
Pranjali S — Google review
Located just outside Bryce Canyon entrance. Mostly fast food. Limited vegetarian options. Serving time was about 15 minutes for burger and pizza. Taste was average. Plenty parking outside. Cost is reasonable. Ok for a quick bite.
Ganesh K — Google review
Stopped here for lunch with family on a road trip. A bit loud and crowded, but food was good and service was decent. However the bathrooms are disgusting so use at your own risk. Outdoor dining is available as well so you also have that option. Overall decent spot with some flaws but nevertheless worth the time and money.
Ethan P — Google review
If you want to find a small pizza, this is the right place. You can choose between two dimensions: 7 or 14 inches. The taste is quite good, but, as an Italian, I prefer simpler options (less oily, less cheese). French fries are a little bit “McDonald’s” style, so nothing special.
Elisabetta L — Google review
Despite the ratings we chose to watch here because it was convenient to where we were staying. All of our food was cold when getting it. The fountain drink syrups are off - they all tasted watery. The burger had pieces of hard material in it and I couldn’t finish eating it. Honestly can’t recommend this place.

Good McDonald stye fry’s is the only thing good, hamburger was a processed patty that tasted microwaved.

Restaurant
Ruby's Inn Cowboy's Buffet & Steak Room is a family-friendly restaurant with a Western theme that offers buffet meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The establishment provides a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes to choose from, ensuring that everyone leaves satisfied. During Thanksgiving or Christmas, guests can enjoy special holiday buffets.
Food was great - Rustlers Ribs - loads of meat and really tender & delicious. Roast chicken generous too. Loved the salad bar. All very good value for money. The staff were excellent, so helpful & polite. Food arrived quickly. Overall a great experience!
Jo-Ann H — Google review
Great atmosphere, service is good. We were starving after a long hike so this was nice, but overall have to admit the buffet itself was pretty basic and not a giant selection. Good price though for lunch! Favs - Fried fish, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn chowder soup, meatloaf, salad bar, beans, soft serve.
Nicholas K — Google review
We had dinner at Ruby’s Inn Cowboy’s Buffet & Steak Room. My wife and daughter ordered the Country Fried Steak, but unfortunately, they didn’t enjoy it — the gravy lacked flavor, and the breading and fried taste overpowered the meat itself. My son and I had the Flat Iron Steak, which was perfectly cooked. My son loved it; for me, it was good but not outstanding. We paired it with a red Merlot, which was quite nice. The salad bar was fresh and enjoyable. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting atmosphere, but we were seated in a corner with less attentive service, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, a mixed experience.
Reinier C — Google review
We used a breakfast voucher for the buffet, and while the staff was friendly, I was a little disappointed in the variety. There were scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with ham, bacon, biscuits and gravy, some yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, cottage cheese, and a bit of fruit. I was hoping for more vegetarian options. For dinner, we tried the buffet again, and it was much better. The salad bar alone is amazing—very fresh, with lots of ways to customize your meal. The cooked foods were mostly mediocre, though the salmon was tasty. Overall, breakfast could use more variety, but the dinner buffet, especially the salad bar, makes it worth a visit.
Louise — Google review
The waitresses and atmosphere were wonderful, but the "food" was a joke! I ordered the half chicken "with seasoning" and it literally reminded me of that episode of Ramsay, where a team literally just served someone a piece of duck or a plate. I could see the seasoning on the skin, but not taste it. The chicken was so dry. Not an ounce of sauce served with it. Fries had ZERO seasoning. I understood from the menu that the baked potatoes were supposed to be stuffed with bacon and sour cream. It was literally just bland potato. The sauce they use on the ribs is too much and too strong. As it's one of only two places to eat, they know people HAVE to come here, so there is no incentive to serve high quality food. $90 for such lousy food is just immoral. The breakfast buffet was even worse! My dad got the runs from the watery eggs that they serve! The chefs should all be fired!
Briantravelman — Google review
This place is a “must” here in Bryce Canyon City. Dinner is served in two ways: either as a buffet or à la carte. Buffet has a wider offer in terms of salads, hot food and soups/sides, for a really convenient price per person (26 $ excluding drinks). The food is always fresh, well cooked and tasty. Well done, guys!
Elisabetta L — Google review
Lovely place with western athmosphear,a bit outdated rooms, amazing buffet- pulled pork was the best! Unfortunatelly I was sold a room with lake view- it appeared there was no lake - dried one cos of" seasonality"... beautiful woods around the hotel.

Fairyland Point is a stunning viewpoint located just outside the main entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. From here, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Fairyland Canyon, home to the youngest hoodoos in the park. This point also serves as the starting point for the incredible 8-mile Fairyland Loop Trail. Despite being relatively small compared to other national parks in the United States, Bryce Canyon impresses with its extraordinary beauty and diverse offerings.
The Fairyland Loop hike may be my favorite hike in Bryce Canyon National Park. The views were spectacular the entire hike! There were multiple times it felt like I had stepped off our home planet and entered another world. I genuinely couldn’t stop taking photos. The trail was well marked and maintained, so there was never a challenge with getting lost. This hike encompassed Fairyland Point and the rim trail north of Sunrise Point, which is where we started. All-in-all, the entire loop was about 8 miles of peaceful, breathtaking views. If you do any hike in this park, let it be this one!
Caleb C — Google review
Absolutely breathtaking at every turn, being inside the canyon is a whole different feel than just looking down on it from the view point. A lot of sun exposure, but enough shade to take a break every now and then.
Wendy B — Google review
This was honestly the best overlook viewpoint we stopped at, out of all the overlooks for this park. The best thing is, it looks like this viewpoint is outside of the national park, so we didn't have to show our park pass at this point. If you don't have a lot of time and didn't get a national park pass, and want to save time/money - stop here. The view is just as beautiful as the other viewpoints and you won't have to go through the park entrance to get here.
Rachel B — Google review
Awesome view without having to go into the park proper. Close to the parking lot so no hiking needed.

Beautiful view of Bryce Canyon. We came here around sunset to take a first look at Bryce Canyon. There's a nice path along the rim with trails down to the valley below. We walked part of the way down.

Beautiful hike. Spectacular views. Amazing tower bridge. Totall 14km and 6km up was a lot. We were exhausted. Would be nice if there was a shuttle at Fairyland Point so you can skip the 4km rim part. Bring enough water and food.

The well-documented shuttle service provides easy access to the park without the hassle of parking, allowing visitors to hike any trail without needing to return for their car.
The shuttle is great! The drivers were all fantastic! I highly recommend using this mode of transport into Bryce Canyon. Just be mindful of when the last shuttle leaves at the end of the day and be done hiking in time.

This service is super nice and efficient. Driver are nice this is just so perfect especially if you are with an RV you leave it outside and wait for the shuttle

This is the best ride into Bryce Canyon, no need to deal with parking. Buses come around every ten minutes so you don’t wait too long. our bus driver was very knowledgeable and was super friendly. I recommend the ride with Comfy seats and AC.
Alex V — Google review
Due to very limited parking, the shuttle offers a less stressful way to enjoy the main attraction of Bryce, the amphitheater. But in order to see all of Bryce, you will need to drive as the shuttle only covers the first 4 miles of an 18 mile drive. The drivers narration and pre-recorded messages played on the shuttle are fairly informative.

I am 73 and physically forgot my HARD CARD, FOREVER NATIONAL PARKS CARD, was 'able' to get a photo of it, had my I.D. driver wouldn't let me on the shuttle. The kindnesses of a few other drivers and Shuttle Director 'Larry' signed me a pass which allowed me to ENJOY the park. Life happens. THANK YOU!!!
Rayonna H — Google review
The shuttle is great! You can park outside of the park, and skip the line to check in at the gate. They drop you off at one point and you can hike as much of the rim trail as you want then get back on the shuttle to get back to your car, no need to retrace your steps to get to where you parked.

If you're looking for a memorable evening in Bryce Canyon, look no further than Ebenezer's Barn and Grill Dinner Show. This delightful venue offers a fixed-price, hearty American dinner paired with an entertaining live show featuring the Bar G Wranglers. Guests can indulge in generous portions of mouthwatering dishes like hand-cut ribeyes and pulled pork drenched in their signature HooDoo BBQ sauce.
Absolutely worth going if you are around!! We had a blast!! Food was good, country style dishes made with effort and love. I had the steak and to be fair, it was medium and tasteful. The show and the music was amazing, couple of their own songs mixed with well known covers. Also good to see that their employees are also including disabled.

Just a great place! The salmon was moist and a nice size. The pulled pork and chicken was a nice size too. Atmosphere was relaxed but not cheap. Very clean and well designed. But the entertainment was as professional as you could get. They didn’t have to mask poor voices with loud instruments. Perfect sound system. Every musician fit! Well blended. Wish it was a different set tomorrow night because I would be there. Will always come back when we visit Bryce NP. Thank you for the memory.

Fun night to spend with friends and family! Great music, singers and entertainment. Everyone at my table thought their food was fantastic. Dessert could be better though. You do go up and get your food served on your plate at a chow line. Get your bar drinks soon when you’re let in or the line gets long quick! No to go boxes so if you tend to not eat all your plate maybe bring some Tupperware. Fun night and I do recommend! 👍👍
Tara M — Google review
We attended the dinner show at Ebenezer’s Barn & Grill. The music by the Wranglers was entertaining and the food buffet was good. We each had the baked chicken (it was not BBQ’d) and pulled pork with coleslaw, baked beans, mashed potatoes, roll, and cake. Those who chose the steak were sorry because it was overcooked and dry. Those who chose the salmon said it was good. The soda drinks were self-serve and there was a bar to buy alcoholic drinks. However, the seating was a nightmare! Guests are seated at tables of 8 and the tables are crammed together so tight that once everyone is seated it is impossible in many cases to get out of your seat to get your drinks or go to the restroom! The dining hall has crammed so many tables in so close together that it made the whole experience unpleasant! Worse yet was that the staff then comes around to clear the tables during the show. When they reach tables that they too cannot get around or through, they expect the guest to stand up and move so they can get through with their tub of dirty dishes—during the show! It was unbelievable! We could not wait to get out of there!

Great food and an amazing show — a fantastic way to spend an evening after a day of hiking the canyons ✨ The Bryce Canyon Wranglers are so talented, they played both original songs and went through the country music cannon. A magical night 🥰 My daughter also loved it, the show is very kid-friendly

Actually it was much better then I thought it was going to be. The band The Bryce Canyon Wranglers were fantastic. They did a bunch of covers and some of their own songs. They kept the tempo upbeat and fun. Would definitely do this again if I was in the area. Definitely recommend.
Sal D — Google review
What an absolutely great time! High quality entertainment right outside of Bryce Canyon. They rotate between two country music shows every other night and if I were here for another night, I would go to the other show. Doors open at 7pm and I recommend getting there then for the pre-show. The dinner was far better than you would normally expect at a dinner & a show venue. And whoever said the steak was tough must have caught them on and off night. Three out of four people in our group had steak and it was cooked perfectly. But the highlight was absolutely the music. They have assembled a group of highly talented musicians and the show just flows giving everyone an opportunity to shine.

What an excellent place to visit! The meal was delicious and satisfying. The staff were warm and welcoming. But what truly stood out was the live music. The band playing was incredibly talented. It was a real highlight of our roadtrip around Utah and we won't forget it! Overall, it was a great opportunity to get a taste of classic American country culture—not just through the food, but also through the entertainment and ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Night Tours
If you're looking for an unforgettable stargazing experience, consider joining the Dark Ranger Telescope Tours in Bryce Canyon. Located just a short drive from town, this family-owned business offers an entertaining and educational night of cosmic exploration. With state-of-the-art equipment and passionate guides like Sawyer, Liam, and Thomas, you'll have the opportunity to view celestial wonders such as Venus, Mars, Vega, Mizar, and the Milky Way through their massive telescopes.
My partner and I had a great night with Dark Ranger Telescope Tours. We were visiting Bryce Canyon National Park for two days in early February and one of the nights we booked a winter telescope tour. While we ended up using our backup night as the first night did not work out, that ended up being a blessing as the night we went was less cold and not cloudy at all. We were the only two people on the tour, which made the experience all the more special. Seth was our Dark Ranger (tour guide) for the evening, is super knowledgeable, and did an amazing job! Seth showed us an impressive variety of celestial objects and phenomena, including planets, moons, stars, galaxies, nebulae, Iridium flares, and more. We even managed to see a plane and satellite through the telescopes while viewing the night sky. Seth captured great images of both Jupiter and the moon through the telescopes with our phones. Seth's presentation on the Fermi paradox was very interesting and well worth viewing--especially with a warm hot chocolate or apple cider, which was provided and helped us stay warm. We really enjoyed our entire experience and will book again if we're back in the area!
Nathaniel M — Google review
Such a lovely, knowledgeable, professional experience. The array of telescopes they have and the variety of what they present is magnificent. We saw so much, and really got a sense of the expanse of stars in our neighborhood and beyond. Seth was super helpful and entertaining, always willing to explain the astronomy and answer any questions. The pregame video and post game fair me paradox presentation were also excellent. Since it was a full moon, we saw less of the sky, but an amazing up close view of the moon. It got very cold, as they warned us, and since you aren’t moving around a lot, you feel it. Hand warmers, and one more layer than you think you’ll need are recommended. They also have extra blankets and extra coats for you to borrow.
Jahan S — Google review
Our family had a great night with the Dark Rangers towards the end of May! They were a very professional, yet fun group! The 6 telescopes setup were updated to new targets during the 2+ hours we were there, so we could see a a LOT of the sky! They had extra coats and blankets which was very thoughtful, in addition to timely reminders about the weather to keep us informed. They also had hot chocolate/ cider! Highly recommend this to anyone in the area. The highlight for me was that we got to meet an intern - which spoke volumes of how good this program and this team is! Educating the masses while supporting students also! Go Dark Rangers!! 👏👏 P.S. my pics don’t do enough justice to the actual experience!

Couldn’t give enough stars to Dark Ranger Telescope tour. We were here in the off season so we were a relatively small group. Logan was incredibly knowledgeable, and since the group was so small he let us make decisions on what we were seeing/doing. He was very helpful with explaining how to identify what we were looking at through the different telescopes. It was greatly appreciated that they provided blankets and extra jackets for everyone. They also provided hot beverages (coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider, tea). Logan’s presentation at the end was excellent, you can tell how passionate he is about the night sky and the outdoors. I would absolutely recommend anyone visiting Bryce to check this out, and furthermore to enjoy the night sky :)

Amazing. Memorable. Worth every penny. What a great way to spend our 30th anniversary night! We chose a private for two. Andy was so knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. The clear sky, at the new moon, was beyond anything we’ve experienced. The ability to just “play” with a 20” telescope at that location under those conditions was mind-blowing. Thank you, Kevin & Andy, for a truly memorable evening under - and among - the stars!
Chris Y — Google review
Kevin and Seth are great! They made the experience entertaining and personal. You get hot drinks alongside his presentation and they have great telescopes for you to view the stars. On this trip I got to see Saturn, Neptune, multiple star systems, and a galaxy 11 million light years away- the light we saw that night was emitted before humans even existed. Plus as a dark sky we got to see the Milky Way, although not in the full colors you see in the darkest of skies. While the park services does offer a free program that I would have liked to try also, I am very happy I signed up for this paid tour- the price is worth it. They offered zero-gravity chair rentals and it felt great on my back to be able to look up at the stars during the laser show presentation, as well as the slideshow itself, rather than sit in a regular lawn chair. that said we didn't use the chairs a ton since a lot of the program is based on viewing objects through the telescopes.
Sammydrf — Google review
What a great experience! Kevin and his team our very knowledgeable. The tour exceeded our expectations. We will definitely book again to explore the sky with Dark Ranger Telescope.

The sky here is absolutely amazing - it's bortle 2 according to the guys from dark ranger telescope tours. Just to see the milky way by your bare eye, the trip is worth is. Besides, the Dark Ranger are super friendly and give everything that you will have a great night: a talk, hot beverages and a lot of patience for all kind of questions, as long as you are willing to stay. Pictures attached are just snapshots taken with my smartphone, through the telescope you see way more detailed stuff, of course. Great experience.

Honestly this place was great! Pretty much tasted farm to table, the squash seemed like it came from someone's garden. A little slow service at the start but then the staff seemed to warm up and we had a superb dinner and drink! Bar side looked nice and chill, wish we had had more time. Will def be back! Very good cocktail: infused margharita. They do not add Ice and it is very rare even in top level bars. The food is good and the service top even with a lot of people to serve at the same time. We recommend 100%.

The worst pasta I've ever eaten. It gave me a stomach ache. It looked like canned chicken and was overpriced. $25 for pasta. Oh my god, and the presentation of the pasta was terrible. I wouldn't go back to this place! I don't even recommend it. I'd rather go to the subway next door.

Such a fun atmosphere. We went in as a group of 11 people. They welcomed us in and joined us for a dance. The drinks were good, their fries were so tasty. They had live music and the singer was great at taking requests

Due to the lack of alternatives, we had dinner there and shared the nachos. For that price a real disappointment! Nachos flooded with something like a cheese sauce. In general it felt like all of the ingredients came directly out of the can. It really felt like a tourist trap - what it is. Also the breakfast, which is offered when you stay at the Bryce Canyon Resort had the same feeling of get the most out of the smallest budget. Never had that crumbly, dry scrambled eggs... Would recommend going somewhere else and take the extra miles

Delicious food. Understaffed so was ignored for a bit before being sat, then before drink orders, then before my other order. It took over 20 minutes to get sat and I was the only one waiting. But... the steak was perfection as were the veggies!
Lidie G — Google review
Really disappointing food after a long day of hiking around the valley. This was on a Thursday night so it wasn't very busy, but it seemed like the servers were more interested in their local customers rather than any tourists staying in the nearby hotel. The chili was pretty mediocre, and the nachos were sub part... Hard to even bother finishing. Certainly not somewhere we'd go back to... The very next time we drove through Byrce Canyon we went 40 miles out of our way to eat somewhere else.

Located in a small town near Bryce Canyon, the Bryce Canyon Pines Restaurant is a low-key dining spot offering standard rooms and cabins for lodging. The restaurant serves up delicious meals including corn chowder, fish & chips, fish burger, and a variety of pies. Visitors can also find other dining options in the area such as the Lodge at Bryce Canyon or eateries and grocery stores in Escalante.
Perfect restaurant to eat at after a long day trip to Bryce Canyon. They have a variety of food here including meat plates, sandwiches and soups. I had the creamy tomato basil soup with the grilled chicken entree. I ate the entire plate plus the soup and some bread. The chicken was perfectly cooked to be juicy and flavorful. The mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries were also amazing. Service was fast and there was no wait time when we arrived. There is wifi here! Prices were decent for the sandwiches but a little on the pricey side for the meats.

We love stopping here when traveling Route 12! Today was our 3rd visit, and we popped in for lunch. Today's specials are not to be missed... you can't go wrong with Philly Cheese Steak or BBQ Pulled Pork. The food was delicious (as always)! A couple of days ago, we had breakfast here at the beginning of our trip. We had the Country Fried Steak breakfast with Strawberry Short Stack. The pancakes were perfectly cooked, fluffy with lightly crispy edges; and the country fried steak was some of the best we have ever had. Oh, and the country gravy was on point as well! When we arrived today, they recognized us from before. And we were greeted like old friends, make service a step above exceptional! I love that they have old-school country music playing that just adds to the great atmosphere. You can't go wrong stopping here for your next meal!

I had a great experience at Bryce Canyon Pine Restaurant. I tried the Elk burger and it was absolutely delicious – juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It was a unique treat I won’t forget. I also had the apple pie, and it was simply amazing – warm, homemade, and full of flavor. The place has a great atmosphere and decor

We drove in from Cedar City and were absolutely starving by the time we reached Bryce. It was late, we were tired and hungry, and this place was perfect. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the tater tots, elk burger, and sautéed chicken breast with mashed potatoes. They accidentally brought me fries instead, but it was no problem—and everything was tasty! The restaurant has a cozy country feel, and I loved the old stove at the front—it gave the place such a charming, rustic vibe. A great spot to stop after a long drive.

We ate breakfast at this restaurant. The servings are generous and the food is delicious! We ordered the scrambled eggs & bacon with a plate-size pancake, scrambled eggs & bacon with French toast, and biscuits & gravy, bacon, and potatoes. The coffee is also very good. Our server was excellent!

Stopped here after our 4x4 adventure in Red Rock Canyon. Parked right in front and were seated immediately. Got there before the rush when all the tables filled up. The place is medium size and has plenty of seating. Lots of food options. We decided on a glass of 13% wine and a soda to drink. We decided to split an Elk. Burger with fries. The burger was 6oz and so lean. Yum! We finished with a piece of cherry pie with ice-cream. Tasted like grandma used to make Staff were friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed eating here. On are way out from the Bryce Canyon National Park, we were looking for lunch options and found this place to be highest rated. It’s about 5-7 mins drive from the Bryce Canyon town where there are other eateries but we wanted to try this. We liked our overall dining experience here. The place is well kept with a beautiful backdrop. The inside is clean and decorated in a rustic way which is pleasant as well. Ample parking space and a restroom outside the actual restaurant which is actually really good. Coming to the food we ordered the following items and both of them were really delicious especially the burger. I rate their food and service 5/5. It was a Saturday and it wasn’t crowded at all. Western Burger - $17 Chicken Club Sandwich - $15 I would recommend this place to my fellow travels to the Bryce Canyon National Park.

Had the pleasure to eat here. Unlike the grand canyon the prices in the restaurants isn't overpriced and it's affordable. I had the elk burger which was cooked nicely with some nice melted cheese. The salad etc and the mayonnaise came separate. This is nice so you can choose what you want to eat but you have to play bob the builder. Overall had a good experience.

Bryce Point is a popular vista point in Bryce Canyon offering stunning views of the amphitheater, making it a prime location for watching both sunrise and sunset. Accessible by car or through a scenic hike along the Rim Trail, visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views throughout their journey. For more adventurous explorers, the 22.9-mile Under-the-Rim Trail provides an opportunity to experience Bryce Canyon's forested backcountry and wilderness areas with fewer crowds.
This place is phenomenal. It's been on my bucket list for a very long time and I am so happy we finally went. The views are out of this world and plenty of trails for all to play and enjoy. The weather was absolutely perfect, 45-65 degree. If the sun is out and you are hiking a steep hill back up, it might feel like 80. Dress in layers as we went up and down the temperature also went up and down about 10-15 degrees.

This place was breathtaking! Highly recommend visiting. Went in early September weather was nice and crowds were small, less children in the way. Take the trail down in the canyon, it’s a beautiful trail. The hike back up can be strenuous but anyone can do it at their own pace. Restrooms are right by this viewpoint.

Bryce Point offers some of the most breathtaking panoramic views in all of Bryce Canyon National Park. The sweeping vista showcases a dense collection of hoodoos, cliffs, and colorful rock formations that truly highlight the unique beauty of the park. This viewpoint is also the starting point for the Peek-A-Boo Loop Trail, which is one of the most rewarding hikes in the park. The trail takes you down into the canyon and offers a close up look at the intricate formations from below.

Sunset Campground

Campground
Sunset Campground is a popular spot for nature enthusiasts, offering space for groups of 7 to 30 people. It's the larger of two campgrounds in Bryce Canyon National Park and the only one that accepts reservations. The location is ideal, situated just west of Sunset Point, providing easy access to trails and avoiding parking hassles. Open from late April to October, it offers seasonal amenities such as restrooms, picnic tables, a camp store, laundry facilities, portable toilets, and more.
Great Campground very clean restrooms and nice campsites with trees, tables and firebowl. Was very quiet the whole time. We booked it via recreation.gov application and found one easily on the same day though I could imagine that it might be fuller in July and august. Location is great super close to everything
Fabienne — Google review
Pros: Quiet, large campsite, in the trees, walking distance to sunset point. Clean restrooms. Cons: My camp pad wasn’t leveled. Trash only at entrance. Long walk to the dumpster. Campsite awkwardly layout. My table and fire pit was right next to the next camps parking space. They used my table thinking it was theirs. Even the restrooms are awkwardly placed. They have fence in the way so I have to walk in a circle to get to it. NPS employees will snoop around your campsite. Overall, It’s fine if you’re looking for a place to stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beautiful campground! The sites are spacious with plenty of room, and the atmosphere is very quiet and pleasant. The facilities are clean and well maintained. I especially want to highlight the staff – extremely friendly and always helpful. You immediately feel welcome here. Highly recommended!
Tim W — Google review
Location is great; however, restrooms were undersized and lacked showers. No soap in restrooms. Given quantity of visitors park is way undersized facility wise to accommodate guests. Tokens can be purchased at general store for timed showers. Parking is difficult. Again, park has feeling of being overrun w/visitors and takes away from overall experience. Beautiful place, but dated/under-sized facilities and overpopulation negatively influences experience.
Sam M — Google review
Such a beautiful place. Clean, peaceful. Camp hosts were very pleasant and chatted with us about park. Has a public restroom that was clean and trash disposal as well as propane tank disposal. Free RV dump is across street and very well maintained. Free park shuttle is also at entrance to camp. Woke up one morning and 2 mule deer with their 3 babies were grazing and bedded down for a while. Fun to watch. Site has a panic table and fire ring. Only down side is it was super hard to park 25 foot trailer with full size truck. Not alot of wiggle room to back in to narrow sites. Wouldn't recommend for trailer much larger than that. Would come here again!
P T — Google review
Spacious Campsites with trees and deer. Sites are not parking lot sites. No hookups, daily host patrols to ensure peace, rules, compliance, and nature preservation. There are toilets, no showers at Sunset, a centralized water faucet for containers only. Park Trolly pickup at entrance. Direct access to Rim, Sunrise, Sunset, Navajo and Wall Street trails on opposite side of road near Lodge. Good for 2-3 days of hikes. Hoodoo galore! The dump station is located on the very south end of the North Campgrounds. Potable water spigot was available on my visit.
MK — Google review
Beautiful campground amongst ponderosa pines. Super close and bikeable to the major sights along the Bryce Canyon Amphitheater area by way of the asphalt biking/walking shared use path. There are flush toilets and sinks with running water in multi stall, separate guys/gals bathrooms. Coin showers located in the nearby general store ($3 for 8 mins). Whatever you do... Do not reserve a camping spot adjacent to the bathrooms unless you do want bright light beaming into your tent all night long. There's no reason for these bathrooms to have such bright lights. It did impede on our stargazing, unfortunately.
Erica P — Google review
The campground is located all the way in the park, making it the more tucked-away option. Very quiet, but you will likely be needing the free shuttle (running every 15 minutes or so) to get to the store & shower facilities. Lots of campsites to choose from, first-come-first-served principle in mid-October. Be aware that you have to pay the fees ($30 per night) with CASH! If you don‘t have cash on you, you’ll have to drive all the way back to the park entrance to pay there. Toilets were clean. There is an area to wash your dishes. No hookups available. Would recommend! The Bryce Canyon is worth seeing.

Hiking Trails
Queens Garden Trail is a moderately difficult canyon hike that offers stunning views of rock formations and sunsets. The trail is relatively short and flat compared to others in the area, making it more like a nature walk within the canyon. Hiking down is optional, but remember that hiking back up is mandatory. The trail provides beautiful views and can be hiked in different seasons, with winter offering a chilly yet beautiful experience. It's recommended to bring layers for changing temperatures.
We hiked Navajo loop and Queens Garden started from Sunset point and back up on sunrise point last Sunday (3/30/25). Beautiful views and it was fun to find Queen Victoria’s hoodoo! The trail was dry and little windy.
Jean Y — Google review
Took Navajo Loop to Queen's Garden. A lot easier in that direction. Loved the trees, tunnels, & slow incline to the top. So many spots for unique pictures. Go early to beat the heat and to get a parking spot...big lot, but fills quickly. Take plenty of water.
William M — Google review
This is definitely my favorite trail in Bryce Canyon N.P.! The views are completely unmatched! I wouldn't call the trail difficult unless you add the Navajo Loop like we did 😂 The Queen's Garden Trail alone was pretty easy. Seriously, it's so beautiful you feel like you're in a different world!
Melinda — Google review
Started with the Queens Garden trail and ended it with the Navajo Loop trail, which can be a bit tough at the end. Beautiful views everywhere, so definitely plan a hike in Bryce Canyon.

We did this trail from Sunrise point to Navajo loop, near sunset point. We took Wall Street option for Navajo look. There were some steps on this option of Navajo loop but views were great.

Very nice hike. We'll worth the time and effort. Would do it again.
Allen T — Google review
Short hike took us about 45 minutes to go from the sunrise point to the Navajo loop. Very beautiful scenic trail, except some lookout could be dangerous.
A ( — Google review
Queen’s Garden Trail is Bryce Canyon National Park at its most enchanting. This hike feels like wandering through a natural sculpture garden, with every turn revealing new hoodoos and formations that look almost too whimsical to be real. The trail is considered one of the easiest descents into the canyon, but don’t let that fool you; it’s packed with beauty and wonder from start to finish. Walking down into the amphitheater, you’re surrounded by these intricate spires and arches that feel straight out of a fantasy world. The highlight, of course, is the formation known as Queen Victoria, which really does look like a regal figure watching over her garden. What makes Queen’s Garden so special is how approachable it is; families, casual hikers, and adventurers alike can enjoy it. Pairing it with the Navajo Trail creates an unforgettable loop that gives you both intimacy with the hoodoos and sweeping views from the rim. If you want a hike that’s accessible, magical, and captures the spirit of Bryce Canyon, Queen’s Garden is the perfect choice.

Restaurant
Valhalla Pizza is a casual seasonal spot located in Bryce Canyon City, offering a variety of Italian entrees, baked goods, beer, wine, and espresso. Despite its unassuming appearance blending in with nearby cabins, the pizzeria surprises visitors with its high-quality food and friendly service. Customers appreciate the welcoming staff and quick service even during peak times. The pizza is described as delicious by National Park standards and pairs well with a selection of beverages available while waiting for orders.
Visited 04/11/25, woman working there is outstanding, she so enjoys her job and serving people. She's so patient and helpful, does well with children and even invited us back for coffee in the mornings! The fellow doing the cooking came out and helping tables and was very gracious and friendly as well. It's so good to have this alternate eating place available!

Not the best pizza in the world, but it’s definitely solid. The price is a bit steep, but that’s what I’d expect in a park. Staff is great! Welcoming and attentive. Fantastic after a hike!

Awful Pizza! Worse than Domino's and they charged $28 for a large meat lovers. National Park Service taking advantage of their captured audience.
William M — Google review
It's located near the Bryce Canyon Lodge's parking lot. We ate there pizza at 12-Sep-25 in the evening (at 19:30, before the closure). We ordered 2 hot chocolate, 1 coffee late and a regular (Margarita) pizza. I ordered also a chocolate chip cookie, but it wasn't included in the bill. When I told it - the answer was "take it for free", which was nice (and the cookie was excellent). The pizza was OK, but it took long time to get it.
Ofer D — Google review
When you're craving pizza, it hits the spot well enough. Otherwise, a tad doughy, not much sauce and very few pepperoni but lots of cheese. The chia tea with Oat Milk was yum and toasty after a long cold day hiking though! And got to read more about some local hikes while we ate. (I always love reading and eating!) Cute indoor and outdoor seating available, but I'd imagine it's really crowded in peak season.

General store
The North Campground General Store is a convenient spot located near the lodge and North Campground, as well as Sunrise and Sunset points in Bryce Canyon NP. The store offers a nice selection of food, drinks, souvenirs, and camping essentials. Visitors can also enjoy hot showers for $3 for 8 minutes with private changing rooms available. Additionally, there is a laundromat with standard washers priced at $2.50 each and dryers at $0.
$3 shower tokens. Restroom/shower located behind the store. Shower stalls were clean. 8 mins and can turn off if you finish sooner. Store got basic supplies, food, and drinks. You can get hot food here like beef chili, hot dogs, and burgers. Overall good resource for the campgrounds.

The showers are around back. 8-minute showers. Need to get tokens from the storefront. Wish they had a better selection of shower products as we forgot an extra bar of soap and they didn't have any. The shower is pretty good. Be nice if they had a shower for families.
Brandon M — Google review
SHOWER / DUCHAS: Shower 3$ - 8 min (good but they could put doors and not curtains...)You buy the tokens in store. LAUNDROMAT: Laundry 2.5$ -25min. Dryer 0.25ct - 4 min, or 2$-45min. You need your soap (small bottle soap in shop for 2.30$). Machine for exchange! Last dryer at 19h.
Mar C — Google review
We got here at 8am (when they open) to have a shower before hitting the road and the guy at the register told us the showers are closed for maintenance. He was unable to tell us how long would they be closed. They should either plan the maintenance during closing time or schedule them so that people can plan accordingly. If you were counting on the showers here (since there are none at the campground), better stay some place else.
Iris G — Google review
Beautiful setting and well-appointed stores - the laundry and showers are probably above average for national parks - the store is well-appointed and the prices are reasonable - we were able to get some nice novelty and memorabilia items here for our trip - recommended
Neal S — Google review
Photos enclosed will show you some good-to-knows about their $2 (cash only) showers. The general store itself is pretty scarce in fresh foods, we didn't dare trying the dead-looking pizza slices (there's a pretty decent pizzeria right next door, across the lodge with free Wi-Fi), oh, and the employees there look like they want to kill themselves. TLDR: bad staff, most common items available, showers for cheap.

The General store is conveniently located near the lodge and North Campground as well as Sunrise and Sunset points. Good place to buy some snacks, drinks, get a cup of coffee, or gather a few camping things you forgot or need. The staff is pleasant and funny. $3 for an 8 minute shower is not a bad deal either.

North Campground is a popular camping spot located just beyond the Visitor Center in Bryce Canyon National Park. It offers 99 campsites nestled in a beautiful pine grove with rolling hills, providing a picturesque setting for outdoor enthusiasts. The campground is open from spring through fall and accommodates both tent and RV campers. Additionally, backcountry camping options are available for backpackers, with designated campsites and permits required.
Absolutely wonderful campground! Site 29 was spacious and well maintained with picnic table and fire ring, but it is right in front of the bathrooms so there was a bit of foot traffic. No hookups or showers (hours for generator use are 8a-10a & 6p-8p). Clean restrooms with flush toilets, camp store nearby and it's as close as you can get to Bryce Canyon!
Brianna W — Google review
We stopped here on a national parks tour. I loved the location. We stayed in one of the tent sites. We were pretty close to the bathrooms - real flush toilets. They have a sink for washing dishes. The noise wasn't too bad. The chipmunks were prolific. Don't leave food lying around for a moment!
Emily C — Google review
Such a great campground inside the park! The bathrooms were nice and clean (real toilets, not just pit toilets) and there was a dish washing area. Lots of trees and shade, but hammock use is not allowed. Each campsite has a fire pit and a picnic table
Rachael K — Google review
Love the campground, particularly it's located inside the park. There small and big sites. We ended up and smaller site and needed to park our pickup in their overflow parking, which is 6 minutes walking distance back to our. It was just fine. The campground has dump station and it was clean and well placed.
A ( — Google review
Only the North Campground is open in late October/ early November and the dump station is closed. Campground is impressive with easy to navigate roads sites of varying sizing. Campground is near the visitor center and a paved bike path will take you to most sites at the north end of the park as well as all the way into town outside the main entrance. Our site, Loop A #002, was a pull thru with our door open to the road which was no big deal. This site got outstanding solar input from both roof top panels and, of course, portable panels. Clear sky for our Starlink. My favorite site was Site #11 which is the largest pull thru site, offers privacy, and is solar and Starlink friendly. Generators allowed 8-10am and 6-8 pm. Bathrooms and potable water available from a frost free faucet. Reservations only, NO First come First Served, @ rec.gov.
Steve M — Google review
Absolutely amazing campsite in Bryce!! Some sites are a little tight for larger rigs but big buses and trailers are welcome in many. The parking isn't level so pack your blocks. There is flush bathroom in each loop and showers and laundry at the general store.
Angus — Google review
Noisiest campground I have ever been. Only loops A and B are open, and they allow generators in both. Almost everyone has a loud generator they run basically all morning and evening, and are stinking up the place. Everything else is great about the camping, but this kills it.

Marvellous little line of shops that are a replica of what must have existed roughly 150 years ago. This far west village was very nice and had a lot of souvenirs & ice cream etc. Very good to visit after a full day in the park! We enjoyed it a lot.
