Bryce Point is a popular vista point in Bryce Canyon offering stunning views of the amphitheater, making it a prime location for watching both sunrise and sunset. Accessible by car or through a scenic hike along the Rim Trail, visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views throughout their journey. For more adventurous explorers, the 22.9-mile Under-the-Rim Trail provides an opportunity to experience Bryce Canyon's forested backcountry and wilderness areas with fewer crowds.
This place is phenomenal. It's been on my bucket list for a very long time and I am so happy we finally went. The views are out of this world and plenty of trails for all to play and enjoy. The weather was absolutely perfect, 45-65 degree. If the sun is out and you are hiking a steep hill back up, it might feel like 80. Dress in layers as we went up and down the temperature also went up and down about 10-15 degrees.

I never thought a place could have natural beauty like what I experienced at Bryce Canyon National Park. It literally left me without words. The views were easily accesible within walking distance. Do not miss an opportunity to visit here!
Travis W — Google review
This place was breathtaking! Highly recommend visiting. Went in early September weather was nice and crowds were small, less children in the way. Take the trail down in the canyon, it’s a beautiful trail. The hike back up can be strenuous but anyone can do it at their own pace. Restrooms are right by this viewpoint.
Brett T — Google review
Bryce Point offers some of the most breathtaking panoramic views in all of Bryce Canyon National Park. The sweeping vista showcases a dense collection of hoodoos, cliffs, and colorful rock formations that truly highlight the unique beauty of the park. This viewpoint is also the starting point for the Peek-A-Boo Loop Trail, which is one of the most rewarding hikes in the park. The trail takes you down into the canyon and offers a close up look at the intricate formations from below.
Eric L — Google review
Magnificent. Impressive. IMHO much more accessible than Grand Canyon. Did a Mule ride: the best ever!
Martin R — Google review
An absolutely stunning place. I highly recommend you check it out. Bryce's Point was my favorite but are all amazing.

We got here at sunrise and it was a spiritual experience! Pictures don’t do it justice but I will post a few anyway! We loved it!
Deb K — Google review
Beautiful hike but rigorous as there are long stretches of down hill as well as rolling elevation not much flat

Park
The Bryce Canyon National Park Visitor Center is a comprehensive facility offering ranger assistance, a bookstore, exhibits, and an award-winning film. It's the perfect starting point for visitors eager to explore the park's unique features. The center provides multimedia exhibits, Wi-Fi access, maps, and backcountry camping permits for sale. Additionally, there's a gift shop supporting park programs and conservation efforts.
There aren’t enough stars for this park. So many doable hikes. Excellent multi use trail. Dogs allowed on concrete trail that runs along the main area. Sunset to sunrise and allowed at most viewpoints. Parking is an issue but if you just get up and go early it isn’t an option. Drive the whole 17 miles because it’s breathtaking. We hiked the Queen Trail with the Navajo trail. There are no words. Every turn presents a chance for the next best shot. The Queen and Navajo trail took us three hours. There are longer ones but this one was perfect. Too many pics to choose from.
HRO — Google review
Clean bathroom, great large gift shop, helpful, friendly, people to advise you on your trip & get information. We brought bikes, they have a nice bike path along the Bryce Canyon amphitheater, so you don't have to deal with parking. All day parking across from the visitor center. We also locked our bikes up & did the Navajo Trail Loop. It is breathtaking & magical. Make sure you go to the toilet before, they don't have them at the bottom. 😀 Do take water & maybe snack, a hat, Sun glasses & sunscreen. Good hiking shoes, I wore my keens and they did great.

🧡 Bryce Canyon National Park: Nature’s Amphitheater of Awe- Bryce Canyon isn’t a canyon—it’s a celestial amphitheater carved by time and frost, where thousands of hoodoos rise like fiery spires from the earth. The park’s palette shifts from soft pinks to blazing oranges, especially at sunrise from viewpoints like Bryce Point and Sunrise Point. Trails like Navajo Loop and Queen’s Garden wind through the formations, offering close encounters with these surreal sandstone sculptures. Despite its grandeur, Bryce feels intimate—quiet, otherworldly, and deeply poetic. Whether you're stargazing under pristine skies or tracing the rim with wonder, Bryce Canyon is a symphony of stone and silence.
Daisy L — Google review
Bryce Canyon is a favorite! We love to boondock in Dixie national park, and it’s a short drive over to a super unique and beautiful nation park! We love sunset point and sunrise point in the amphitheater, and our favorite hike we recommend doing is “Wall Street” which I believe is just a mile roundtrip. There are switchbacks going down and then back up, but they’re graded nicely so it’s not a bad hike. And the views you see are incredible! We did a few other hikes, but it just didn’t feel as epic as Wall Street. It was a favorite for the kids too! Even our two old did most of the hiking. Also if you have kids, national parks have a junior ranger booklet you fill out for a cute wooden badge - all national parks have it! The prize is great, but we’ve learned so much about the parks we’ve been to working through the booklets so definitely recommend!
Rosalynne L — Google review
Amazing and beautiful national park. It does get very busy and parking in some of the hiking trails / lots can be very difficult. Arrive early, especially if you’re planning on doing any of the major trails (ex. Navajo or Queens Loop) as they’re packed by 9. We started our hikes at sunrise to ensure the best views and least amount of crowds. We also did the scenic drive in the late afternoon and saw amazing wildlife at dusk on the fields close to the visitor center.
Kenny R — Google review
Exceptional experience. We only had time to visit for a day, but you could easily spend a week here. So much to do and see to include hiking, camping, horseback riding. The hoodoos were amazing. Take one of the hikes to explore them up close. We’ll definitely be heading back in the near future. Get your National Park Pass before you come. Some things like campsites in the park are booked six months out.
Jaren P — Google review
This park was soooo cool! Wish we were able to have spent several days here to experience hiking within the amphitheater! Bryce Point and Sunset Point had really nice views from above.
Lindsey H — Google review
Great national park. One of my favorites in the US. Beautiful sceneries, animal encounters. Wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Get up to Rainbow point before sunrise, you won't regret it. We were all alone up there. Lots of trails to combine from above and from Tropic. Take your time in this park, don't rush and stay a day or 2 longer!!!

Campground
Hiking area
North Campground is a popular camping spot located just beyond the Visitor Center in Bryce Canyon National Park. It offers 99 campsites nestled in a beautiful pine grove with rolling hills, providing a picturesque setting for outdoor enthusiasts. The campground is open from spring through fall and accommodates both tent and RV campers. Additionally, backcountry camping options are available for backpackers, with designated campsites and permits required.
Absolutely wonderful campground! Site 29 was spacious and well maintained with picnic table and fire ring, but it is right in front of the bathrooms so there was a bit of foot traffic. No hookups or showers (hours for generator use are 8a-10a & 6p-8p). Clean restrooms with flush toilets, camp store nearby and it's as close as you can get to Bryce Canyon!
Brianna W — Google review
We stopped here on a national parks tour. I loved the location. We stayed in one of the tent sites. We were pretty close to the bathrooms - real flush toilets. They have a sink for washing dishes. The noise wasn't too bad. The chipmunks were prolific. Don't leave food lying around for a moment!
Emily C — Google review
Such a great campground inside the park! The bathrooms were nice and clean (real toilets, not just pit toilets) and there was a dish washing area. Lots of trees and shade, but hammock use is not allowed. Each campsite has a fire pit and a picnic table
Rachael K — Google review
Love the campground, particularly it's located inside the park. There small and big sites. We ended up and smaller site and needed to park our pickup in their overflow parking, which is 6 minutes walking distance back to our. It was just fine. The campground has dump station and it was clean and well placed.
A ( — Google review
Only the North Campground is open in late October/ early November and the dump station is closed. Campground is impressive with easy to navigate roads sites of varying sizing. Campground is near the visitor center and a paved bike path will take you to most sites at the north end of the park as well as all the way into town outside the main entrance. Our site, Loop A #002, was a pull thru with our door open to the road which was no big deal. This site got outstanding solar input from both roof top panels and, of course, portable panels. Clear sky for our Starlink. My favorite site was Site #11 which is the largest pull thru site, offers privacy, and is solar and Starlink friendly. Generators allowed 8-10am and 6-8 pm. Bathrooms and potable water available from a frost free faucet. Reservations only, NO First come First Served, @ rec.gov.
Steve M — Google review
Absolutely amazing campsite in Bryce!! Some sites are a little tight for larger rigs but big buses and trailers are welcome in many. The parking isn't level so pack your blocks. There is flush bathroom in each loop and showers and laundry at the general store.
Angus — Google review
Noisiest campground I have ever been. Only loops A and B are open, and they allow generators in both. Almost everyone has a loud generator they run basically all morning and evening, and are stinking up the place. Everything else is great about the camping, but this kills it.
Tim Z — Google review
A perfect place for spending a night in the front country while still experiencing Bryce Canyon National Park. Easy to access, close to restrooms (flush toilets!!), and easy to get to the rest of the park, the shuttle, and the visitors center.

Fairyland Point is a stunning viewpoint located just outside the main entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. From here, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Fairyland Canyon, home to the youngest hoodoos in the park. This point also serves as the starting point for the incredible 8-mile Fairyland Loop Trail. Despite being relatively small compared to other national parks in the United States, Bryce Canyon impresses with its extraordinary beauty and diverse offerings.
The Fairyland Loop hike may be my favorite hike in Bryce Canyon National Park. The views were spectacular the entire hike! There were multiple times it felt like I had stepped off our home planet and entered another world. I genuinely couldn’t stop taking photos. The trail was well marked and maintained, so there was never a challenge with getting lost. This hike encompassed Fairyland Point and the rim trail north of Sunrise Point, which is where we started. All-in-all, the entire loop was about 8 miles of peaceful, breathtaking views. If you do any hike in this park, let it be this one!
Caleb C — Google review
Absolutely breathtaking at every turn, being inside the canyon is a whole different feel than just looking down on it from the view point. A lot of sun exposure, but enough shade to take a break every now and then.
Wendy B — Google review
This was honestly the best overlook viewpoint we stopped at, out of all the overlooks for this park. The best thing is, it looks like this viewpoint is outside of the national park, so we didn't have to show our park pass at this point. If you don't have a lot of time and didn't get a national park pass, and want to save time/money - stop here. The view is just as beautiful as the other viewpoints and you won't have to go through the park entrance to get here.
Rachel B — Google review
Awesome view without having to go into the park proper. Close to the parking lot so no hiking needed.
David T — Google review
Beautiful view of Bryce Canyon. We came here around sunset to take a first look at Bryce Canyon. There's a nice path along the rim with trails down to the valley below. We walked part of the way down.
Sharon B — Google review
Great trail with good ups and down.. take enough water
Jeremy D — Google review
Beautiful hike. Spectacular views. Amazing tower bridge. Totall 14km and 6km up was a lot. We were exhausted. Would be nice if there was a shuttle at Fairyland Point so you can skip the 4km rim part. Bring enough water and food.

Paria View is a less crowded but equally stunning viewpoint in Bryce Canyon National Park. It offers a unique experience as one of the few spots where the hoodoos face west, making it perfect for catching breathtaking sunsets. While not as grand as Bryce Point, its intimate setting and views of the Grand Staircase and Lake Powell make it worth a visit.
Paria View is a beautiful and quieter viewpoint in Bryce Canyon National Park. It’s easily accessible by car and offers stunning views of the park’s signature hoodoos and red rock formations. Compared to some of the more popular spots like Sunrise or Sunset Point, Paria View tends to be less crowded, which makes it a peaceful stop to take in the scenery. It’s also one of the few viewpoints in the park that faces west, making it a great spot to catch the sunset when the light hits the canyon walls just right.
Eric L — Google review
If you have little ones, this is the view to see. Most of the cliff is fenced off, except one small section, so please still be watchful. It's also less busy than some of the more popular viewpoints, but still has some spectacular sights.
Jeremy M — Google review
So many beautiful colors in this view.
J M — Google review
Last point in the Bryce Canyon NP. Very secluded and no crowd with great views!
Kunal S — Google review
Kind of a cool little off the main track canyon. Its smaller and more intimate than the larger Bryce Canyon. Still gorgeous and you can see out towards the Grand Stair Case and Lake Powell in the distance
Ben D — Google review
The views at this overlook are quite nice, though perhaps not as nice as its closest neighbor Bryce Point. Still absolutely worth seeing, especially considering it isn't nearly as far from the entrance as some of the other viewpoints like Rainbow Point and Natural Bridge.
Gunnar C — Google review
Cool place to see. Road is closed in winter up to the sight so you will need snow boots to get up there. Worth the views.
Truman G — Google review
Wonderful views in a great National Park. The scenic drive is awesome and gives a great overview of the entire park. This park is not describable in words, you must go and enjoy in person.

Sunrise Point in Bryce Canyon National Park is a breathtaking overlook that showcases the park's iconic amphitheater and its striking russet rock hoodoo formations. Perched at an elevation of around 8,000 feet, this viewpoint is particularly popular during sunrise and sunset when the first light casts vibrant colors across the landscape.
This is by far one of my favorite places to visit. The hoodoos are so neat. We visited all 5 national parks in Utah and Bryce Canyon and Natural Arches were amazing. So stunning. Plan ahead and take your time to explore. You will never forget seeing this sight.
Jen P — Google review
Sunrise Point is absolutely breathtaking! Even in hot weather, the views are nothing short of stunning. The hoodoos stretch out in every direction, forming an incredible landscape of towering, colorful rock formations. What makes this spot extra special is how accessible it is—you can take in jaw-dropping scenery right from the parking lot without a long hike. It’s the perfect place to just pause, soak in the beauty, and admire the unique shapes and textures of the canyon. A must-see stop in Bryce!
Sid — Google review
If you're allergic to the vast beauty of the world skip this. Stunning, empowering, awe-inspiring. Get up early, dress WARM, and grab a coffee and be ready for a view that will set your day up on a good foot. Completely worth it.
Ryan M — Google review
This National Park is beyond this world 🌎! I had the opportunity to visit this National Park, Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon National Park. I loved the three of them but this one captivated my heart every second I walked down the trails. It is like visiting another planet. I thought I was in Mars. I recommended everyone to visit it. You won't be dissapointed and will witness by yourself the magestic views it provides.
Alexander L — Google review
I did what the park rangers recommended as ‘figure eight’ hike, starting at sunrise point, passing queens garden, through peek-a-boo loop and back via Wall Street and Navajo trail, totally 6.7 miles with about 1600 ft elevation gain but no technical difficulty. Very scenic and views were ever-changing. In between two o of the figure eight there were plenty of nice picnic spots. Definitely helps with a pair of grippy hiking shoes as you go down some deeper slopes. Very interesting tree configs created by the harsh environment along the trail.
Yang S — Google review
The park is nice, even on a "quiet" day the park is too full, restaurants near the main hikes makes the parking even worse. Many people ignore the signs to keep off in some areas you notice the damage this caused. Hiking is partly more like a walking traffic jam then a hike. Due to the shutdown it was free, otherwise I would only recommend going early morning or late evening to avoid the masses.
Johan P — Google review
Sunrise Point is about a half mile walk from Sunset Point. Both sit along the Rim trail within Bryce Canyon. The views from here and all around, for that matter, are out of this world! Park your car at Sunset Point and take the views in from both overlooks.
A R — Google review
We LOVE Bryce Canyon!!! It is gorgeous! With every step and turn there is a new view to take in. When I first walked up from the parking lot to the ridge it literally took my breath away. We explored the. Race Ampitheatre. We walked part of the Navejo Loop trail (Wall Street was closed) from Sunset Point down to the Peekaboo Loop trail. We loved the Peekaboo Loop because not many people were on it and we had so many views of the hoodoos, “Wall of Windows” and twisted “Ponderosa Pine” trees. The colours and different shades of the rocks formations are spectacular. We finished our hike off with the Queen’s Garden Trail and ended at Sunrise Point (we probably walked about 11 km that day). The following morning we woke up early and watched the sun rise starting at Bryce Point and then walking our way along the Rim Trail to Inspiration Point. We stopped many times along the way to take in the changing scenes before us, as the sun continuously made the canyon look different with its light and shadows. Definitely our favourite stop on our week long tour of Zion, Bryce, Page and the Grand Canyon.

Bryce Wildlife Adventure is a 14,000 square foot facility featuring incredibly realistic wildlife displays. The collection includes hundreds of animals from various species, showcasing impressive taxidermy quality. Visitors can expect to encounter animals they may have never seen before and learn interesting facts about familiar ones. Additionally, the adventure offers the unique opportunity to feed deer, making it an enjoyable experience for families. Overall, it's a great place for both learning and creating lasting memories during a visit to Bryce Canyon.
One of the best museums I’ve been too! And for $10 its a bargain for what you get to see. Fine art of taxidermy and dioramas. Owner was very friendly and we also got to hand feed the fallow deer for only $2.50 if your in the Bryce area check this out you won’t be disappointed

This is not just a museum, it’s an experience! The couple that owns this attraction is lovely and it was so extraordinary to see the passion behind every inch of every exhibit. Most unique museum I’ve ever been to. 10/10 experience.

Met Robert and his wife and they shared some of the awesome stories about how this museum came to be, not only is their story cool but the museum itself is breath taking, the collection of taxidermy is extremely impressive and well done! The owners are both extremely nice

I have been to a lot of museums and this one was by far the best!! The details put into every seen was incredible and literally capturing the moment! We had our son there and the owner called him a “Papoose” baby. 🥰😂 such a wonderful experience, definitely recommend this place if you’re in Brice Canyon.
Katelyn G — Google review
My son had his first field trip here and i was absolutely blown away. :) It was incredible!!! and puts any museum and bass pro shop, Scheels, & Cabela's displays to shame! This place was AMAZING. I highly recommend stopping and see worth the time. You wont be disappointed. Robert & Terri are the best people around & created a beautiful museum. Thank you! I'll be back with my boys :)
Lizzi R — Google review
Great stop with kids who have an interest in nature. I've never seen a more expansive collection of animals from all over the world. Yes, these are taxidermied, but obviously composed with much love and care. Absolutely breathtaking artistic displays of various species in their natural habitats. 10/10 will visit again if we head this way in the future. Beyond impressed.
Stephanie H — Google review
The owner was so nice to our family. Bryce Wildlife Adventure has an incredible variety of animals to see. Bryce Wildlife Adventure was a much better experience than our terrible experience we had with the nearby Dark Ranger Telescope.

Hands down the best museum I've come across. Robert, the owner and curator, has put together a complete and extraordinary exhibit. Our children learned so much and have a new perspective of the wildlife in the area.

Ruby's ATV Tours offers an exhilarating adventure through the stunning landscapes surrounding Bryce Canyon National Park. With a variety of trails to explore, visitors can rent ATVs and UTVs from nearby companies for an unforgettable off-road experience. While the terrain may be rugged, the thrill of navigating through dirt, rocks, and hard ground adds to the excitement. Knowledgeable guides like Whitney and Tyree provide informative and enjoyable half-day rides, offering a unique perspective of Losee Canyon.
It was a great experience. Laurie and Susan were amazing in guiding us through the trail. We saw a couple of wild animals and tge trail was short but sufficient.
MARWAH B — Google review
To preface, the people here seem like great people. I wouldn't recommend this tour to hardly anyone though. I did this in a group of 12 and I thought it was not worth the money. Because of a law they won't let you go faster than 20mph, and it feels soooo slow. The trail they take you on has a brief outlook over into the Bryce Canyon red rock area and the ENTIRE rest of the trip is slowly riding around sage brush fields and a hill with some bumps. This is not a Bryce Canyon tour, it's a tour through brown dirt fields. They make you go in a specific order and will stop you if you try and have fun and cut in front of someone else in your party or race them (I tried and got in trouble). It was dull. And expensive. Check out this video and you'll get the same adrenaline watching this as riding through it. It sums it up pretty good. But again, the people running the shack were funny and nice. They seem like great people, I just kept thinking how much I wish the other reviews would have mentioned these things before we spent all that money...
Merrisah G — Google review
Such a fun ride! Friendly staff and great trails. Definitely suggest the ATVs for more experienced and confident drivers as it gets bumpy out there with tight turns. Lori did a great job guiding us and showing us all the animals and landmarks in the area. Stunning property!
Marisa B — Google review
Great experience. You get to drive around for around an hour, and experience a little bit of everything. For those who enjoy driving, there are some fast and slow corners, and different surfaces, and you drive through the water a couple of times. It also goes up and down hill. For those who want to learn about Canyon, you also stop at one point where you can enjoy the view, and the guide takes pictures of you and talks about the canyon and history of the area. And of course you get to see some of the animals in the area.
Albert S — Google review
So much fun, highly recommended. You can drive solo or with others in your ATV. The staff were very helpful and provided a good amount of history about the location. The views were amazing.
Rose T — Google review
Best part of our whole trip! We did the guided tour on a 2-seat RAZR and had a blast seeing a whole new side of Bryce Canyon City and amazing views of the canyon. Our guide had an eagle eye for the local wildlife and showed us wild pronghorn, mule deer, and ranch animals. It was beyond amazing and we'll be doing this again!
Laura Y — Google review
This was one of the best experiences my husband and I had. They see hundreds of people a day and they made us feel like we were the only people there. Our guide (Mark) was fantastic, patient and very knowledgeable about the area. Unfortunately, I don’t remember everyone else’s name at the rental place, but they were ALL fantastic and friendly people. My husband and I can’t wait to come back with our kids. Not only did we do the ATV tour, but we came back and rented bikes from them.
Linda B — Google review
You need to be prepared that you will be "beat up" ! My husband and I rented a UTV in Hawaii where the ground is plush with crazy drop offs, etc. We weren't considering the terrain there in Sadona; dirt, hard ground and all the rocks on the trails. Don't get me wrong, it was fun. We did an all day rental: 8 hrs, and we still didn't go to all the trails we wanted to. You're not able to go super fast, because of the rocks and boulders. You are literally jarred and banging around the entire time. We went the end of June so it was stifling hot. They include a cooler with waters, plus we brought our own and drank every bit. We stopped several times to hike on trails and was a blast. We literally saw the biggest rattlesnake! Another cool trail to hike is the bridge. It's a rock that has formed into a bridge. It's a super fun hike getting to it. We took a 2 hour break for lunch at a divey bar and had delicious burgers. The staff at Ruby's are phenomenal. They are super accommodating and helpful.

Nestled next to the Rim Trail, The Lodge at Bryce Canyon offers lodge-style accommodations with on-site dining and a gift shop. Their dinner menu features a variety of options including elk chili and seared Pacific salmon, with an emphasis on sustainable, organic ingredients. The lodge provides modern and comfortable rooms, suites, and cabins during the summer season within walking distance of the canyon's rim.
The Western Cabins at the Lodge at Bryce Canyon provided an exceptional stay! The location, just a 20-second walk from the Canyon will be something I’ll remember. We loved our stay and the traditional cabins were spacious and perfect for a one night stay. The night-sky, full of stars was lovely also. A huge thank you to Michael who looked after us at dinner in the Dining Room. We loved the dinner and chatting with Michael. Lots of great stories and we wish you all the best Mike! Hope to see you again!

The Lodge is centrally located great for all the hikes and lookout points such as sunset and sunrise point. We stayed in the cabins. There was no wifi in the cabins but the hotel building and central lodge area had wifi. The main building has a dining room with good food. The pizza place was awesome for lunch.

Perfect for our family of 3. We traveled in November, so no AC was OK. No TV in room, but we were steps away from the Amphitheater (no need for TV). Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious and clean. Location was ideal. Just a 2 minute walk to get a sunrise view.
Kevin C — Google review
Dinners were surprisingly great and the location can't be beat. Mattresses could use a refresh and the breakfast buffet was missing a few things (like something to put on the oatmeal). All in all, a wonderful trip and well worth it to spend a few nights in such a magical place.

Worst hotel of our 10 day tour! Room was very warm when we arrived but we couldn't seem to adjust the temp. We called downstairs & was told it was slow, give it 20 min. That did nothing so I went to the desk to ask for maintenance. Now they said the rooms don't have a/c! What? Then what were we waiting 20 minutes for? They suggested opening the window or door & putting on a fan. We are doing that but it's still too hot. Not what we were expecting at all! On top of that, our burger at dinner was way overcooked & the rooms are wicked dark - we needed to put on every light. We will be telling our tour operator. Will never come back to this hotel.
Nadine C — Google review
Nice hot shower and jet turbine of a toilet. Bed was comfy enough. The sunset and sunrise motels are a 5-10 min walk from the lodge restaurant and major trailheads. Also a couple minute drive from inspiration point and Bryce point. The lodge restaurant has been the most solid of any national park I've been to, a real breakfast and lunch menu rather than just hot dogs and chips. The servers were all super friendly too. Only knocks on the place are that the wifi was noticeably slow (240 to 360p video at best) and the wind blowing through the balcony door genuinely sounded like someone was walking on the balcony trying to jiggle the knob. Very much worth it overall because I could get up right before sunrise to see it, grab breakfast, and then change and get out on the trail bright and early.
Ronen V — Google review
We stopped here for breakfast before seeing (my personal first) view of the canyon. We chose buffet because we didn't want to carry leftovers. They had a tasty variety with bacon and oatmeal with coffee as my faves - plus coffee. Would definitely return next time around maybe for lunch or dinner next time. KaKay was super attentive and packed me a to go much appreciated coffee!

This review is for the restaurant. I had modest expectations for a meal in the park, and the restaurant greatly exceeded them. It is a breakthroughs setting. Service was both fast and friendly. We liked our so much that we came back after our first lunch twice, once for another lunch and once for dinner. I had a hearty and delicious vegan bowl (ask for extra green chili if like me you enjoy heat). Second lunch was an excellent elk chili. For dinner I had a14 Oz ribeeye, perfectly prepared with excellent roasted potatoes and asparagus, cooked just right to have just a little bite left. My leftover steak went into a sandwich next day. Highly recommend the cheesecake for dessert.

Bryce Canyon National Park's Sunset Point is a must-visit for its stunning views of the colorful rock formations and landscapes. The Rim Trail, stretching from Bryce Point to Fairyland Point, offers relatively easy hikes with spectacular views of the park's popular areas. Visitors can also enjoy the scenic drive that leads to Rainbow Point and Yovimpa Point at the very end of Bryce Canyon.
What a breathtaking experience. I have always wanted to come here after seeing beautiful pictures and videos over my life. I was not prepared for the grandeur and sheer volume of the natural wonder. Starting at Sunset Point, it was the beginning of a truly remarkable experience. Seeing the weathered and eroded rock sculptures in such a massive volume was breathtaking. As we progressed into the park, the views in each place simply grand. It was so windy up against the canyon walls, and so little away. A curious phenomenon, I did manage to lose my hat to canyon due to the wind. Careful of that when you go to see this for yourself. The Natural Bridge was remarkable and views from all points were awe inspiring.

I have always wanted to come to this place and never been to it and I've always lived pretty close to it. It was so awesome the views are epic! I really want to go back and do a lot of the hikes, especially the hikes that go down into the canyon seems so awesome.
Andrew B — Google review
Photographs don't do it justice. The feature of the scenery is unparalleled! The trails are well maintained but I do not recommend any that descend into the canyon for small children. Stick to the rim trails instead where railings are more plentiful. Altitude is 8100ft so you will notice the gradients. Bring water, trekking poles, hiking shoes and wear a hat & sunscreen! We arrived after labor day and had very little trouble finding parking so we didn't use the free shuttle. If you have time and are visiting during late spring-autumn, go early in the morning and come back again after 4 or 5 pm when the temperature are cooler. The park rangers were friendly and informative. Wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights.
Linda O — Google review
Definitely worth going for sunset. The place lights up and shadows blend into the light. The hoodoos are fascinating and you can walk a bit down from sunrise point to actually go within the hoodoos. I’d spend more time here than just sunrise and sunset next time and hike around.
Charu S — Google review
We were there in October 2025 , the last week before services ended. The weather was perfect. We are from Florida and in our 70s and the biggest question was which way to walk in order to not over do it . After reading a lot of review reviews and speaking to the Ranger we walked from Bryce Point to Inspiration Point. This walk was mostly downhill and very pleasant. I underestimated the time as we took much longer taking pictures looking and just enjoying the walk that I expected. From Inspiration Point , we waited for shuttle for about six minutes and went onto Sunset point. Sunset Point was much more crowded than any of the other areas, but was definitely worth seeing . From Sunset point to Sunrise Point it is an easy paved walk approximately .7 miles. It should be noted that Sunset Point parking lot appeared to be full. Take the shuttle and park in the over flow lot just inside the park or at the shuttle parking lot in Bryce town . The shuttles run ever 15 minutes and make a loop. The shuttles were on time and the shuttle drivers were pleasant and very informative. I will go back and spend more time in Bryce Canyon in the future. We drove into the park from Kanab you might want to take the time to look at Red Canyon which you drive through on your way in.
Hunt W — Google review
Just like the Sunrise point, this is worth the evening walk out. Stunning, empowering, awe-inspiring, and HOODOO's! So many, Thors hammer sticks out, but every one of them gave me a smile. I would bet they will give you one too. Bring someone you want to enjoy it with for an added experience, but they can be enjoyed just the same alone. We'll worth it.
Ryan M — Google review
When we arrived at Sunset Point around 8:00 am, the parking lot was already 70% full, showing how popular this spot is. From Sunset Point to Sunrise Point, we enjoyed a breathtaking walk, surrounded by the unique hoodoos and dramatic canyon colors. The beauty of Bryce Canyon made the visit unforgettable.

The Peekaboo Loop, Hat Shop, and Under-The-Rim Trail Trailhead offers a challenging trek through Bryce Canyon with rapid elevation changes and stunning rock formations. The trail starts at Bryce Point and winds through beautiful hoodoo formations, offering amazing views of Bryces hoodoos, The Cathedral, Fairy Castle, and Wall of Windows. The Hat Shop features white rocks perched on top of the hoodoos along the hike.
Absolutely beautiful. Peak a boo is one of the three hikes that I think are must do in Bryce’s with Navajo and Fairyland trails being the other two. This is a relatively steep trail so come prepared. Total mileage is 5.4 miles. Every bit of the hike is worth it. You’ll likely see horses along the way and hike through multiple tunnels in the hoodoos.
Mark M — Google review
Added this on to our Navajo Trail Loop (this is a 3-mile hike, 5 total with Navajo). Absolutely amazing hike. Remember water! There is some tree cover but this is a very hot hike and strenuous. The elevation change is no joke. With both trails, this took us about two hours. Highly recommend, but note the elevation change and drastic inclines and declines. Can’t wait to come back.
Natalie C — Google review
Peekaboo trail in Bryce canyon national Park is a must hike if you make it to Bryce. The hoodoos are some of the finest in the park. The path is well marked and a moderate in terms of effort, but the payback is unbelievable for your time and effort. We made the hike in mid February in the snow just added to the magical imagery. The day we went crampons and poles were must, but you will not regret it.
Harold M — Google review
Aside from all the horse droppings, there is a tremendous amount to be desired here. The main entrance was shut down due to damage from rain and falling debris. I connected from Wall Street to Navajo Trail to the Peekaboo Loop. A lot of height variance along the trail. Some of the lookouts are the greatest in Bryce.
Michael M — Google review
This is a great 3 mile loop starting near the base of the canyon. We did the figure 8 trail that goes through the peek-a-boo loop. The park ranger suggested we walk clockwise because the horses generally walk in that direction. When we did the trail in the summer it was about ~100F/38C. Be sure to pack lots of water and take your time. Although there are pockets of shade you may consider wearing a hat or even bringing an umbrella (we saw 2). The trail will frequently change in elevation with climbs and dips (the hiking guide says a cumulative elevation of 1571 feet/523 meters). This trail connects to Bryce point or the Navajo loop on the other end so you can decide how long and far you want to hike.
Wesley K — Google review
We wanted the Bryce experience and needed to visit the hoodoos up close and personal. We started at the Bryce Point trailhead, hiked the mile to the Peekaboo loop and started our trek. This is a must if you come here and want the full experience. Some warnings; you must be in decent shape (not necessarily great) and you must bring lots of water.
Tom K — Google review
This may be the most beautiful trail in Bryce Canyon. You get right up close to the amazing Rock formations and also get incredible views of the canyon. The trail does have a lot of up and down, so you'll get a good workout!
Steve R — Google review
This trail had absolutely amazing views. Beginning with a stunning panorama above the hoodoos, you move down to eye level, and then down inside the ampitheater. It is a very steep up and down trail for a good portion, but well worth the effort!

Sunset Point Overlook offers an incredible vantage point to witness the breathtaking sunset. Many visitors also enjoy exploring the nearby Navajo Loop, which provides a deep immersion into the stunning hoodoos of the area. While parking can be challenging after 9 am, the views from this spot are well worth it, especially when starting early in the morning. The winter season offers a quieter experience with fewer crowds and a mesmerizing view of snow-covered landscapes.
Busy area if you don’t plan ahead. Other than that beautiful place. If you can’t find parking near by, go ahead and drive to the next parking lot and hike your way to either sunset or sunrise point
Diego C — Google review
Starting point of the mainline hike and also a great vantage point to look down at both the wall street section of the hike (closed during the winter) and the normal switchback down to the queens garden. Without the time to do the full hike we just stopped by.
Keaton A — Google review
Great place, beautiful in winter. Bring good boots or chains while walking down or up the slope. Good hike of about 2 miles with views that worth a lot. Make sure to get offline nps maps to keep track of hiking trails. Would recommend to spend at least one full day at this National Park. We got the annual park pass to visit more than 3 national parks around during our trip. Even in winter this place was beautiful. We stopped in December end.

This point has great views and gets better and better when u start from sunrise and reach here. We went in December so there were very few people. View with snow was amazing!!
Pu G — Google review
Awesome place to see the sunset, but my favorite was doing Navajo Loop.. absolute immersion in the hoodoos! You can replenish water at this spot outside the bathrooms, but finding parking is HARD here after 9am.
