Beautiful park I especially love it in Spring.
Playground, benches, cycling, biking, there's full bathrooms, a large dog park, plenty of parking. I love to cycle here as it connects to a large path looping to Rochelle Park. Wish they would replace the path. Gets ridiculously crowded weekends. Especially on Sundays. Avoid it if possible
One of the saddle river county parks in Ridgewood. If you start from Rochelle park to bike here , you would make about 7 miles trip. It is all connected and you can assume 1 big trail. This location specifically has two dog playground , one for small dogs and other one is for big dogs. Plenty of parking space , Bathroom , playground for kids , duck pound , tables for family picnic and one pavilion.
Our go to park on the weekends. The kids love the playground. It’s well designed and suits both our 2yr old and 5 yr olds needs. Also, the walk around the pond is very peaceful.

Wild Duck Pond in Ridgewood is a beloved park with various amenities like playgrounds, cycling paths, bathrooms, and a large dog park. Visitors enjoy the peaceful walk around the pond and family picnics. While weekends can get crowded, it remains a go-to spot for families with children due to its well-designed playground. The recent restoration project has improved walking paths and connections to the Saddle River trail. However, some reviewers note that bathroom cleanliness can be an issue at times.

We had my daughter’s graduation picnic at The Wild Duck Pond. Everything was so cute. Everyone had such a wonderful time, the playground was a great place for my granddaughter and the other children to play. It is a small park but very nice.
It depends on when you visit! We've compiled data from NASA on what the weather is like in Wayne for each month of the year: see the links below for more information.
