cute and quite playground. there’s woodchucks on the ground and a few toys left around to share. plenty of benches to sit and chill. there’s also a huge grass area to run and play. i believe this playground could go from ages 5-12 . my six year old had an amazing time and it was big enough for me to fit and help him out once in a while. parking is street parking but you can see your car if you pull up next to the playground.

Bradford pear trees make this a park to avoid in the springtime. 🤢 Stinky smelly gross trees. Great any other time of the year but when those trees are in full bloom you will want to find another park

Visit during winter when snow fills the small hill between playground area and field making it perfect for sledding
Parking can be limited so consider arriving early or finding alternative parking nearby
The park is more enjoyable during spring/fall due to unpleasant smell from Bradford pear trees in bloom during springtime
For less crowded times visit on weekdays or off-peak hours like mornings or late afternoons

Great preschooler sledding and high end playground sets, including toddler swings. Parking not so easy, unless you are willing to park less-than-legally and be prepared to move your car as needed.

Loker Park, right next to the Walnut Hill school, which is a great place to go sliding in the winter too. Not much parking at this park, but then it really is geared as a local community park and that's not a bad thing as it's on a very quiet area. Lots to do for a range of kids, but probably more fun for kids toddler aged and above, with a small climbing wall, hanging bars and a tall slide that is covered. There's a good number of swings, including a big tyre swing. Also a nice flat bit of a field beside it that is good for throwing a ball around or kicking a ball around.
