Sights & Landmarks
Fenway Park is a historic and intimate ballpark located in Boston, known as the home of the Red Sox and a venue for big-name concerts. It holds a significant place in Boston's built environment, alongside landmarks like Faneuil Hall and the Freedom Trail. The stadium offers behind-the-scenes tours during the off-season and hosts a popular summer concert series.
Fenway is a iconic and historic ballpark. This was such an amazing experience. Saw the Red Sox vs. Houston Argos game (2-1 home win for Red Sox) and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere and energy from the crowd was amazing and the lighteffects after the win were super cool. Food and beverages were okay priced, not too expensive in my opinion. Great experience being there!

This is the best tour I’ve been on in a long time! The street and local atmosphere is something out of a movie, and the tour is very affordable and informative. The guide was fantastic, telling fun stories of his life in Boston and his 10 years working at the field. We saw everything from the original seats to the press box, the green monster, and the special VIP museum that holds World Series balls, bats, uniforms and memorabilia from over the decades. I would recommend this tour to anyone I know, especially baseball lovers. So worth the time and money!
Ashley F — Google review
We took a guided tour of the Fenway stadium. Booked just about 45mins before the tour from the kiosk at the Gate D entrance on the Jersey street. Great experience. The tour guide, Abby (if I remember correctly), was great - very informed as well as great style of presenting facts. With very long history and so many interesting things happened with the Red Sox, the tour was definitely worth it. We don’t watch baseball and have only elementary knowledge of rules but it was still very much easy to understand. Definitely to be done if you’re in Boston.
Jay M — Google review
This was my first time visiting Fenway Park, and even though my team wasn’t playing, I knew I couldn’t come to Boston without checking it out. I’m so glad I did, the energy inside the stadium was incredible! From the moment I walked in, I felt the history and passion that make Fenway such a special place for baseball fans. The crowd was electric, and what really stood out was the sense of community. The entire stadium came together, singing songs, cheering, and living and breathing every moment of the game. I felt completely swept up in the excitement. We just so happened to be there for the game the Red Sox clinched their spot in the playoffs with a walk-off win! The stadium absolutely erupted. I’ve never felt that kind of excitement at a ball game before. You didn’t have to be a Red Sox fan to appreciate the moment. Being there for that walk-off and watching the team celebrate was something I’ll never forget. Fenway isn’t just a place to watch baseball it’s a place to feel it. The atmosphere, the history, the energy it all makes for an incredible experience.
Jennifer S — Google review
Had a wonderful tour of Fenway Park with George. Loved his World Series rings. As a full time employee, he also gets a ring when the team does. The history of the ball park is so fascinating to hear. George did a beautiful job of telling the tales & was so enthusiastic about them. Another bucket list check off.
Connie I — Google review
Fenway Park is one of the Mecca's of MLB that every baseball fan needs to visit in person. It was great attending a Boston Red Sox game in the one of the oldest baseball parks in America. The food was good and at a decent price, but it was the surrounding bars and restaurants around the park that made it a great overall baseball and sporting experience!
Josh B — Google review
Being a Cub fan from Chicago, home to the most iconic stadium in all of sport, I must say that I continue to be impressed with the condition of Fenway Park. It's no Wrigley Field, and it being a few years older, doesn't make it "grander", but it's a fun place to see a game. The fans are pretty great, and supportive of their team, but the place emptied out long before the game was over because the Sox were getting their butts kicked. You don't ever see that at Wrigley... no matter what the score. I was in Yankee Stadium in this trip out East too, and I continued to be unimpressed with that ballpark.
Larry B — Google review
Came out from California, San Francisco Giants fan. Got a real good look at this beautiful ballpark. I think what makes it special is the foul lines. Makes it look like an old ballpark I used to play in when I was 12 years old. Just kidding. But it does make it look really authentic when you're young playing baseball. We had a great time with the guide. He was very knowledgeable. And he was from California. I would strongly suggest this place if you are a baseball fan. The tour is great.

Very unique museum! I'm very glad I left the toddler at home - definitely only for kids who will absolutely not touch, as many works of art are not protected. The cafe makes for a nice little break in the day. The prices were $20/plate but it was delicious. We spent maybe 2.5 hrs total including lunch.
Megan I — Google review
I have wanted to visit for years and I finally got my chance. What a wonderful museum. I truly enjoyed that it was organized the way she wanted and that won't change. I found it refreshing that there weren't descriptions posted on everything because I'd recently felt that, for me personally, I was spending more time reading and less time observing. The courtyard is delightful and unifies the whole museum, the floral design was beautiful. Thank you to all the helpful staff as well. I'm looking forward to my next visit
Lisa S — Google review
Amazing I’ve been dying to come to this museum for 5 years now and finally I was able to see it. The collection is extensive and gorgeous. The garden transports you to a calm and serene place. I spent about 30 minutes looking out into it and admiring it before continuing with the rest of the museum
Paola F — Google review
Visited on a weekday with my child and had a great experience exploring the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The museum has three floors filled with a variety of art objects, each room curated with its own unique theme. Many rooms feature beautiful and rare religious artifacts. Even on a weekday, it was quite crowded, so moving through some areas took time. Timed-entry tickets are required, so it’s best to reserve in advance. The courtyard garden is stunning, with blooming flowers creating a peaceful and colorful atmosphere. Overall, it was a good visit and worth the trip.
Rose D — Google review
This was by far one of the coolest collections of art from around the world. I have never visited such a well thought out installation. The walk through was a feast for the eyes! Each room was better than the last and the interior garden was breathtaking!
Michelle B — Google review
Wow. This was a stunning collection of art, carefully curated into distinct rooms to complement each piece. The museum itself is beautiful and peaceful. It has art but also lots of fun pieces of history as well. The audioguides are informative and interesting! I spent 3 hours here, but could have spent the day. I do love museums though. Definitely worth a visit! Come early and/or book tickets online. They do sell out. There is a cafe and a gift shop.
Brittany S — Google review
The museum’s famous garden was beautiful, and there was certainly a great number of collections for an individual to amass. However, I wish there had been more explanations or descriptions next to the exhibits. We visited as soon as it opened on Saturday, and it was already quite packed to really enjoy the art.
Gabbie K — Google review
An extraordinary museum with a unique atmosphere that feels more like stepping into a beautiful home than a gallery. The courtyard is breathtaking, the art collection is diverse, and every corner tells a story. A peaceful yet inspiring place that combines history, architecture, and culture in a way unlike any other museum. Truly unforgettable.

A utilitarian T stop on the MBTA green line E section. It’s a station on Huntington avenue and is very accessible. It has a few shelters with seating arrangements. Pretty clean station as well. Convenient if you want to visit the Museum of Fine Arts and Wentworth Institute of Technology.

EXCELENT!!! Huge place with collections for every taste: modern, classic, egyptian, roman, greek, american, european, orient, you name it... Zoos & Aquariums
The New England Aquarium is a must-visit waterfront attraction featuring a giant glass tank surrounded by a multilevel walkway. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of iconic landmarks such as Old North Church, Custom House Tower, and Independence Wharf. Additionally, the aquarium offers the Northern Lights yacht Boston experience with options to sit inside the cabin or on deck while enjoying drinks and snacks. The location is easily accessible by bus, subway, or train.
I thought it was great! Any aquarium that has the penguins exhibit first thing in the door wins big in my book! There were some other wonderful exhibits too!! We saw a sea lions performance, got to pet small rays in the shark exhibit, and watch a giant tank with a huge selection of fish as well as two turtles! I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We also liked our lunch at the cafe, although the fish in the fish and chips could have been hotter, I thought it was a touch on the cold side. We did have quick service and the check out was an interesting process. The macaroni and cheese side was delicious, along with a fabulous view of the bay!
Dana W — Google review
A great aquarium! Clean and organized. I enjoyed that the exhibits we're put around the center tank so when you're walking around the tank you go up or down while seeing the other tanks. Easy for kids to navigate and see into each tank/exhibit. Afterwards you can still go out and explore Boston within walking distance.
Emjake619 — Google review
This place is amazing! Took an Uber from a cruise port as its less than 10 minutes away. Spent a good 2 hours walking through the 4 floors of exhibits ranging from seals, stingrays, clown fish, sharks, turtles, jelly fish and an anaconda. Extremely clean. We are from out of town but brought an annual membership. Well worth it even if you go just once. Trying to go again soon!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Magical Day at the New England Aquarium! I absolutely loved my visit to the Boston Aquarium! From the moment I walked in, I was surrounded by incredible marine life and beautifully designed exhibits that made me feel like I was stepping into an underwater world. The highlight of my day was definitely the sea turtle — such a magnificent and graceful creature. Watching it glide effortlessly through the water was truly mesmerizing and peaceful. Another favorite was the seahorse exhibit. I could have stood there for hours watching those delicate, whimsical creatures sway and twist around the coral. They’re so tiny, yet so full of personality! The entire aquarium is thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to explore while learning so much about ocean conservation and the importance of protecting marine habitats. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the animals they care for. I also appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was, from the tanks to the viewing areas. Whether you’re visiting Boston for the first time or you’re a local looking for something special, the New England Aquarium is a must-see destination. I can’t wait to go back again soon!
Kory B — Google review
So I will preface this review by saying I have been to over a hundred zoos and awuariums over the last 6 years. This aquarium is pretty decent. A good variety of different fish, and overall they do have as good a layout as they can with the space they have. Pros: Variety Bright colored exhibits Good signage about animals Cons: Price for size Very tight space inside Bad signage on where to go next Again, I liked this aquarium, but for $40+ bucks I would like to have not been shoulder to shoulder with everyone else there. I also feel like the "Sharks" exhibit is a joke, and some of the exhibits talk big, but then fail to deliver.
David P — Google review
My fiance and I LOVED the New England Aquarium!! No kids yet, but cannot wait to bring the little one here soon! Such an amazing layout and awesome exhibits. The stingrays are so cute and friendly, the penguins, seals, and sea lions were sooooo much fun to sit and watch. It was a little crowded but not too bad for a saturday! We will definitely be back!!
Kat ( — Google review
Oh my god - can’t rave enough. Having never seen the Penguins, this place lived upto my expectations. It was the most beautiful day in boston with penguin, seals, fishes, and other unique underwater life exhibit witnessing. I totally loved it and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. So proud that they keep these animals and are equally aware and preach animal welfare in kind too :)
Anshul G — Google review
Overall a good a experience. Definitely on the smaller end of aquariums I've been too. Kid friendly. Personally I do believe they should not have anything bigger than fish at this aquarium because it's so small, however there are seals and penguins at this location which is slightly disheartening because of how small their enclosures are at this facility.

The Public Garden, established in 1837 and located adjacent to Boston Common, is a serene and picturesque city park featuring a lagoon, boat rides, fountains, and various attractions. This historic Victorian-era garden boasts meticulously groomed flower beds showcasing 80 plant species, ornate fencing, tree-lined pathways with benches for relaxation, and iconic public art such as the Duckling Sculpture and a statue of George Washington.
My family is here on a college visit and we like to wake up early. We decided to go to the Public garden for the first time on a Sunday morning around 8 am. It was absolutely beautiful. It was quiet and calm. Perfect way to start your day.
Emily B — Google review
Such a beautiful and peaceful spot! I could have stayed all day, especially with the perfect fall weather. I captured some amazing Boston shots during my mini photoshoot. While there were plenty of people and lots of photo-taking happening, there were also plenty of quiet corners to escape the crowds. Truly loved my time here!
Katherine G — Google review
The Boston Public Garden is a must-see! It's a gorgeous escape right in the middle of the city, and a perfect spot to relax and get away from all the noise. The trees are stunning, especially in the fall when the colors are just magical. I love watching the squirrels play and taking a stroll along the paved pathways. The famous Swan Boats on the lagoon are a charming sight, and the park is great for all ages. It's completely free to enter, open from dawn to dusk, and super easy to get to with the Arlington and Boylston T stops nearby. Don't forget to say hi to the "Make Way for Ducklings" statue! It's a beautiful, peaceful place that's perfect for a walk, a date, or just unwinding.
Anya G — Google review
We love this place! It’s serene and peaceful. This time around, we rode on the Swan Boat which was so nice since the last time we were here was in the Fall and the lake was empty. So glad we were able to check it out in the Summer. Be aware if it’s hot outside, the Swan boat is open so you are exposed to the sun and the elements, but you get a nice breeze from the water.
Rosa V — Google review
Absolutely stunning! The Public Garden is magical in the fall — the colors are breathtaking. A perfect place to walk, relax, and enjoy nature.
Estefania G — Google review
Loved visiting the public garden. It was so beautiful when we visited. Each tree has a history behind it and a plaque attached telling you where it’s originally from. Lots of space and great for families
Matthew M — Google review
This public garden is stunning! Right next to Boston Common but wayyyy better in my opinion! There are plenty of comfortable benches in the shade of old growth trees. The pond is lovely and helps keep the whole area cool. I was there on a busy Saturday morning and yet it felt peaceful enough to read and reflect. I would recommend taking time to just sit and embrace the beautiful weather. There is a large pond that you can pay to ride around on a medium sized man powered boat. Also there was a small craft fair that popped up on the sidewalk just outside of the park around 11 a.m., it was fun to walk through and look at the vendors' items.
Megan B — Google review
Boston Public Garden completely will steal your heart. From the moment you stepped in, you will felt like you had entered a peaceful, green sanctuary right in the middle of the city. The landscaping is stunning—vivid flowers in full bloom, lush trees that offer shade and comfort, and carefully maintained pathways that invite you to stroll slowly and soak in the atmosphere. One of my favorite moments was watching the iconic Swan Boats glide gently across the pond. It felt like something out of a storybook. I also loved seeing families, couples, and solo visitors all enjoying the space in their own way—whether reading a book under a tree, having a picnic, or just relaxing on a bench. I took my time wandering through the park, taking photos of the beautiful statues and fountains, especially the George Washington statue. Everything about the garden feels peaceful, thoughtful, and timeless. It’s not just a park—it’s a place that invites you to pause and breathe. If you’re visiting Boston, you absolutely cannot miss this place. It’s a perfect blend of nature, history, and quiet joy. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the city. Highly recommended for all ages and interests.

Park
Boston Common, established in 1634, is a nearly 50-acre urban park with a rich history dating back to the American Revolution. It was once used for various purposes such as cattle grazing and militia musters. Over time, it has transformed into a beloved green space in downtown Boston. The park features ballparks, a playground, and several monuments including the Embrace, Soldiers and Sailors, and Robert Gould Shaw and the 54th Regiment monuments.
Boston Common is a beautiful, historic park right in the heart of the city. The open green spaces are perfect for a stroll, a picnic, or just relaxing and people-watching. There are plenty of paths to explore, benches to rest on, and seasonal events that make it lively throughout the year. It’s easy to get to, and the surrounding city views add to the charm. A great spot to take a break while exploring Boston.

A place to immerse yourself in the nature to find your true self. Boston Commons is the place which let you have the thrills of Military 🪖🎖️ artillery showcases, thousands of flags for memorial Day celebration, Japanese cultural festival, Boston Pride Day celebration and more and the chirping of birds, sprints of squirrels and quacks of the 🦆 all at once. To me this place has been my go-to destination every weekend to channelize my emotions and get back with more energy. Kudos to everyone making this place magical.
Hritik — Google review
This is such a beautiful and special spot in the city! No matter the season, it’s always such a nice place to walk around, sit with a coffee, people watch, or just take in the scenery. It’s got so much history, but it also feels very alive and welcoming. I love how it’s right in the middle of everything, you can wander through and end up in so many different parts of Boston!
Mia — Google review
It's is a big park with a very popular arm crossing sculpture at one end of the park. There is also a welcome center where you can find a lot of merchandise. And also there are restaurants fast food around the park. In the park you can see many people sitting there with their children and a lot of people. They are many people listening to the guides introduction of the history of Boston. There are a lot of ducks and squirrels. The squirrels here are not afraid of people. If you have food they will just approach you. This is surprising to me because I see a lot of other places whereas borrows won't just run away when people walk by. And many pigeons are in the park. Maybe because of the weather of Boston you can see red leaves. They're beautiful and a little pond in the center of the park. There is no parking so you better walk there but the transportation is very convenient.
Nan L — Google review
This would be a top park if it wasn’t so full of literal garbage. I know the city clearly has a problem with trash pick up but this park is another example of an otherwise beautiful place to visit scarred by trash. It is a nice place to go since the entire city is full of trash in the streets so no matter where you go you’ll be dodging questionable things in the streets so at least walk through a nice park while your doing it.
Steven H — Google review
Absolutely beautiful park! Every time I've visited there is some kind of event going on. People relaxing, walking their dogs, people gathered at the visitor center ready to go on a Freedom Trail walking tour... A wonderful park surrounded by so much history and every day life alike. Check it out if you're ever in Boston. 🙂
Frances A — Google review
I have visited Boston Common multiple times, and I always love coming back. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful greenery make it a perfect place to relax. The small pond with geese is delightful to watch, and there are plenty of walking trails throughout the park. It is also a great spot for a picnic, especially in the evenings. During the summer, Boston Common hosts Shakespeare in the Park, which is always amazing to watch. The park is conveniently located near AMC and Red and Green Line train stations, making it easily accessible by public transport. Additionally, it is the starting point of the Freedom Trail, which is perfect for exploring more of Boston.
Vyshnavi V — Google review
🌳 Boston Common & Public Garden is truly the heart of the city and one of the most beautiful spots in Boston. It perfectly combines a sense of history with the calmness of nature. 🌸 The gardens are well-kept, with lovely walking paths, the iconic Swan Boats on the pond, and wide green lawns perfect for a picnic or just relaxing. 🏞 The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant at the same time — you can stroll for hours, enjoy the views, listen to street performers, and feel the city’s rhythm. For me, this is an absolute must-visit in Boston ✨ Come during the day or in the evening — the park feels magical in both.

Love this place so much, we went once on each day we were in Boston! I loved the tomato based seafood chowder at Boston and Maine Fish Company, next to Chowda. $10 for a small bowl, and buy the garlic bread for $2.50 extra, has a nice tangy crust. The Irish beer pub across the hall is cool to hangout and people-watch. Beers are $9 each. Lots of cool places to eat but watch out for the touristy trap ones.

It's very close to downtown Boston. There are many vendors selling foods, snacks, souvenirs and also many shops with a good collection of apparel. I like the place because it's very walkable and there are artists and also street performances like you can enjoy. You can walk in the building of the market. There are three separate buildings. Each of them features different set of merchandise goods. There are children's play area inside and outside the building. Pets are welcomed.

This was on all of the Google searches for being a must see in Boston. There were so many food vendors and the building was historic and beautiful. There were areas to eat although it was pretty crowded. It was fun to look at all the different types of food available.

Great place to eat if in Boston. Many different options for food in an historic location. Only downside is that it can get VERY crowded during peak eating times and seating is limited to the center court or maybe outside. Lines for ordering can get confusing. Food we had was delicious. If coming to Boston, you have to try clam chowder at least once. Bathrooms are limited and small, and look like they haven’t been updated in at least 50 years, if not 100. That considered, they were still fairly clean. Parking is almost non-existent; I’d recommend an Uber/Lift to get there. Save yourself the headache of finding a spot. Parking garages may be in the area but cost $20+. I would go again if in the area.

Very eccentric and diverse group of shops and restaurants. There’s literally something for everyone and there are so many nooks and crannies you could spend a full day exploring them all. It’s a touristy area, so expect lots of people. Also, the walkways are brick and uneven, so watch where you’re stepping!

Visitors can witness live reenactments by actors in period costumes, including the dumping of tea chests into Boston Harbor from a replica 18th-century ship. The museum also features multimedia exhibits, holographs, animated portraits, and a short film about the Battles of Lexington and Concord.
Absolutely loved this place! The Boston Tea Party Museum is way more interactive than I expected in the best way. The actors were super engaging and really brought the history to life without it feeling cheesy. Throwing the “tea” into the harbor was a surprisingly satisfying touch 😂. The whole experience was well-paced, informative, and fun for all ages. The replica ships were awesome to walk through, and the multimedia parts added some cool depth to the story. Great mix of entertainment and education. Whether you’re a tourist or local, it’s 100% worth checking out.

Awesome and educating experience, we bought our tickets in advance. We had no problem being greeted by our fair old time characters at check in and were ushered into a great reenactment. Without giving too much away, you will enjoy yourself! Even those who aren’t big into history. You will get to learn about the Boston tea harbor and so much more, you’ll learn about the people involved and why it’s important to remember history. Awesome people who work here who really embrace the characters and explain anything you have a question to. You do also get to throw tea into the harbor! Celebrate one of the milestones of the American Revolution with a visit to the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. Boston is drenched in colonial tourism, and this attraction was tons of fun. The costumes are all very well made. The staff is so friendly and courteous. The actors embody their characters and put on a great immersive show. You get to see a reenactment of the colonial conspirators and if you’re lucky and brave enough, you’ll get a line or two to speak during the proceedings. Explore the belly of the ships that brought tea to Boston and toss a ceremonial crate of tea over the edge for a great photo op. This is one of those places where you get to learn by accident. You’ll be so immersed and enthralled by what is going on around you that you’ll be pleasantly surprised that you were learning at the same time. There are a few replicas from the early years of the U.S.A. as well as portraits, paintings, and entire rooms that bring you back 250 years. Kids and adults will thoroughly enjoy their time at the ships and museum. Parking isn’t terrible, but definitely plan some time to find a good spot or parking garage. The streets and traffic flow around the museum take some patience. The museum gets a big recommendation as a must-visit.

It was special to know the story through acting and also including the visitors into the characters. It was impressing to walk step by step from the beginning of the incident, to the ship and pour out the tea, and saw the exhibits and documentary to feel emotionally. It was worthwhile to not only experience the history, but also absorb how the past has brought to the present. Sending pics to staffs who act professionally! Thank you very much!

A Phenomenal Trip Back in Time: History Made Real! If you are looking for an immersive historical experience in Boston, visiting the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum is an absolute must-do, especially with family. What truly elevates this attraction above a typical museum visit is the fantastically talented cast of historical interpreters. From the moment we stepped aboard, we were completely transported back to 1773. The performers didn't just read lines; they embodied the colonists, infusing the drama leading up to the act of rebellion with passion, energy, and wit. The experience felt authentic, lively, and truly immersive. They seamlessly guided us through the process—from the initial town meeting to finally tossing the tea overboard—making us feel like active participants in a pivotal moment of history.

What an amazing experience, from start to finish! Engaging, fun and a lot of learning! The actors/ characters really made the entire experience fun! Great job! Great for all ages, even my teen who doesn’t care for history enjoyed it. We will do it again when we return to Boston! Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic experience! They do a little reinacring before you tour the ship which was so much fun! The staff is great, friendly, and do a wonderful job to make it feel like you've stepped back in time. The whole experience took about 2 hours, and was educational and fun. A must see!
Christi B — Google review
It was excellent! It wasn’t just a simple tour of the Boston Tea Party — we were able to directly experience it. The detailed reenactment of the events and the explanations of the major historical moments that followed were very helpful. After the tour, we can enjoy a cup of tea, and I highly recommend doing so. While drinking tea, we also got to try some light board games that people enjoyed back in those days. It was a really enjoyable and immersive experience.

The Museum of Science, located in Boston's West End, is a renowned institution featuring interactive exhibits, an IMAX/3-D film theater, and a planetarium. With over 700 exhibits and home to an accredited zoo with over 100 animals, the museum offers educational experiences for children from third grade and up.
The Tesla coils light show was really fun and informative and they have showings throughout the day. It "sparked" a new interest in science for me. Warning: turn your volume down before you watch the Tesla coil videos I attached. 😂 Amazing views of the Charles River. I liked looking at the AI dog. A good portion of the museum is very kid-focused but the paintings and animal/natural history sculptures are fun for all ages. I also liked some information about blood pressure as well as how many calories I need to walk a mile. It was a fun visit!

Fabulous time for families! Purchase tickets in advance, planetarium is a must! This is a classic spot that makes for a quintessential childhood summer day, the duck boats are a fun addition. I recommend for 8+ or the duck boat tour aspect might not be the best (6 year old was bored). I am so glad they have maintained a great museum that feels nostalgic and growing with the times.

The Boston Museum of Science is an incredible experience—everything is so cool, inspiring, and thought-provoking. It really pushes you to want to learn more, no matter your age. There’s so much to see and do that my girlfriend and I had to speed-run it since we arrived around 2 PM and they closed at 5. Even then, it was well worth it. The museum was undergoing some renovations during our visit, but it didn’t take away from how amazing the exhibits were. I’d absolutely come back to explore more. Only minor thing to keep in mind: there are a lot of kids running around (as expected in a science museum), so depending on the time and day, it can be a bit chaotic. It’d be awesome if they stayed open later for a more adult-oriented experience, but that’s just a wish—not a complaint. Overall, it’s an amazing place and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend it.

Had alot of fun learning about all types of things. Definitely check out the electricity show, that was awesome. We saw a show at the planetarium, very cool. The food court fish and chips was not great. The burger was pretty good though.

A truly amazing museum that brings all branches of science to life! It offers a hands on, interactive experience for visitors of all ages. Through models, visuals, experiments, and a wide variety of materials, it makes learning science exciting and accessible. A perfect place to explore, discover, and be inspired by the wonders of science!

I hadn't been to the museum in 40 years. It was so great living childhood memories of my favorite place as a child. The lightning show still is my favorite thing there. The new exhibits were great to see. I am definitely going back once the renovation is completed.

Great experience for a family with a toddler. Lots of fun things to look at and manipulate. The workers at the live demonstration and showing off skulls in the river area were great with a little kid - but there's a ton of stuff at the adult level too. Enjoyed it twice in the last year with more we haven't even seen! I would say that the cafeteria is decently priced compared to other local museums/attractions. Delicious falafel burger!

Spanish restaurant
Cocktail bar
Toro, a small and stylish spot in Boston, is renowned for its celebrated tapas, cocktails, and Spanish wines. Chef Ken Oringer has created a menu that goes beyond traditional Spanish tapas with innovative dishes like Maiz Asado and Uni Bocadillo. The bar program offers unique experiences such as the porron and frosty cocktails like Frezcal. Toro's lively atmosphere makes it a favorite party destination in the city.
Hadn’t visited here in years but the kitchen is just as amazing as it was a decade ago. We ordered half the menu and everything was delicious. Portions were a bit on the small side. The highlight for us was definitely the foie gras tapas dish. Came with a tiny biscuit and some jam, made for an amazing bite - don’t try to share it!

I had an amazing experience at Toro, but the bone marrow stole the show. Rich, buttery, and perfectly roasted—it melted on the toasted bread like velvet. If you go, don’t leave without trying it. Absolutely unforgettable.

One of the few places we got a day of reservation! Stopped in for Sunday dinner. My friend said it was her favorite sangria. 🍷The food was all delicious ! Loved being able to cut the octopus ourselves + it was so tender. The crab croquettes were good. The patatas bravas sauce was amazing - some kind of nutty squash flavor? The wings were well seasoned as well

I couldn't wait till tomorrow to do this review. I haven't been to Toro in a while because of traveling, work, etc.. but let me tell you that I have been missing out on all there new addition. For starters, they have this Barata salad with Peaches and cucumber in a beautiful vinaigrette. There Tuna tartar, the crab meat Croquette and the list goes on. I don't want to make this review to long but I want to thank Jonathan for the Beautiful jester towards the end of the night you are a sweetheart. I kept telling him how delicious the salad and everything was and of course to give the chef my compliments. I also want to give a special thank you to Luis and the rest of the staff for always treating us like family . Toro will always hold A special place in my heart. I'll see you guy soon. And please go try them out you won't Regret the decision. Thank me later :-)

This restaurant was buzzing as soon as I walked in, I knew I picked the right spot. The service was fast and attentive, and the food came out quickly! I recommend this if you're feeling like some delicious Spanish food but best to plan ahead and book a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Great food and impeccable service! Our waitress (so sorry I can’t remember her name!) was amazing, gave us a heads up on portion sizes for each dish which was very helpful. Our water glasses were always being refilled, which is something I super appreciate! The fantastic service here really made our experience special. The highlights of our meal were the patatas bravas, costillos (ribs), and the maíz asado (corn). We loved the patatas and costillos so much we had to get another round! Next time we think we’d skip the datiles con jamon (dates) and the empanada because the portion sizes were just too small to justify for a group of 4. The filete a la plantxa (hanger steak) also fell a little flat for us, as it was a little tough and a bit bland. The sangria was also a bit watered down so I think we’d skip that next time time. Overall, great experience and will be excited to return!

Toro is a consistent spot to try interesting tapas and enjoy their great selection of wine. They recently added pintxos to their menu - we tried the shishito and chorizo. Their crab croquetas were delicious with a special fried lemon rind on top. Front patio is dog friendly too!

The last time we dined at Toro was a a couple of years ago as It used to be our go to dating restuarant when we are in Boston. Fast forward to 2025, we finally decide to return to Toro in June and had our family dinner as a group of 7 (5adults + 2 kids). Yes we decided to bring two young kids along! Atmosphere: 5 Star, while the vibe is not baby friendly (loud music) it is definitely Small and cosy! Our 3year old was fine with it! Food: 5 Star, hit the right flavour, food remains the same and no complain! Service: 5 Star for our waiter who was awesome, very attentive as he had gotten our orders correct (especially special request for our younger kids). The reason why a 4 star was given was due to an incorrect arrangement of the table. We had specifically requested for a regular seating table during our reservation (to accommodate to our 2 young children) which Toro had confirmed, but when we arrived, a high top table was assigned. What was more disappointing was, that was the only table available as all other tables are arranged for other reservation. While the staff did admit it’s their mistake, there’s really nothing much they could do. To be honest, that didn’t really start well! Overall I would say the experience is a 4* balancing the mishap and excellent food and atmosphere! For parents who are wondering if Toro is child friendly, apart from the loud music, there’s baby high chair, baby changing area (in the female toilet), menu included beef sliders and corn off the corb, and plastic cup for kids! We’ve tried it and yes it is!

Sarma Restaurant is a vibrant establishment in Somerville, part of Ana Sortun's culinary empire that includes Oleana and Sofra. The restaurant offers a modern Mediterranean menu with an emphasis on Middle Eastern flavors, serving up meze and small plates in a colorful setting. Inspired by traditional Turkish meyhanes, Sarma creates a communal dining experience with craft cocktails, local beer, and an extensive wine selection.
Truly incredible food. Flavor just explodes in your mouth for every dish. We got the corn bread, and gyro bread and I think I will think about both for the rest of my life. Wish I had pics of those to share. We also got the Tunisian tuna tacos, and the Cajun lamb and both were just indescribable. So good! Our server was great as well! I can’t remember their name but they were from Hollywood FL and were super nice and very knowledgeable about the menu!

- Everything is really good on the menu, but if it’s your first time I recommend any of the following: Black Sea cornbread, Lentil Nachos, Harissa BBQ duck, Scallops are excellent. Note the sesame fried chicken is brought around to tables when it’s made fresh, but cannot be ordered on demand. - Lots of really nice cocktails - Due to high demand, this place mostly requires a reservation, but there are 20 bar seats available for walk ins as well - Prices are very reasonable and quality is excellent; one of my favorite restaurants in Boston
BWS T — Google review
This place is insanely good. A few things to know before coming: - if you don’t have a reservation, and it’s the weekend, expect a line 10-15 minutes before open. - Sarma is tapas style, so be ready to order 2-4 plates per person. - if you have a picky palate, then maybe a sports bar is better for you. We went as a group of four, and all four of us agreed Sarma was one of the best culinary experiences we have had in recent memory. Each dish is expertly crafted with layers of flavor, and texture in mind. We like to grade dishes A+ through F- and out of 16 dishes only one got a B+ with the rest being A+ to A-. Highlights were the Black Sea Cornbread, Lentil Nachos, Chickpea Fritters, Fresh Sesame Fried Chicken, Mole Carrots, Lamb Kofte Sliders, and the Harissa BBQ duck. Service is prompt and great at handling large crowds of people in waves, decor and atmosphere also quite nice. Has incredible return value, will be back!

We had the best date night at Sarma! We didn’t have a reservation. We showed up on a Thursday night. Because we were flexible on sitting at the bar v. a table, we waited about 10 minutes (faster than the estimated wait). We were able to order a drink right away. It was the first time dining out in a while where we thought the food was so creative, delicious and flavorful. We especially enjoyed the cornbread, scallops, and crab dishes. The drinks were equally delicious. The service was great at the bar. The waiter asked if we had visited before and then introduced us to the concept and his favorites based our dietary needs/preferences. They asked about allergies. We had great conversation and vibes throughout the dinner. The environment colorful and bustling. Parking is limited so plan in advance.

This is an extraordinary restaurant! I feel this restaurant is the best in Boston! They use so many different herb! Tapas. All the dishes blended well . The employees are so friendly. Our waiter was Alexis tonight. He gave us a great experience.

I truly believe all the praise Sarma receives is super well deserved. Our expectations were dangerously high going in and Sarma exceeded on all fronts! The food, drinks, and service were all exceptional! Food: All the plates we ordered were all so unique and flavorful and it was such a treat exploring them. If only we had the stomachs and wallets to try everything on the menu. Our favorites were definitely the cornbread, the brussel sprouts, and the Cajun lamb kebabs. The first bite of every dish always got us perked up and excited to try more! Also the drinks we tried were a hit with everyone! Service: This was a perfect service experience! The staff checked in frequently and effectively, always quick to deliver on requests. The plates came and went so smoothly allowing you to focus on the food and the people you’re with. Atmosphere: The energy felt so celebratory! The decor and lightly immersed you in the dining experience giving you so many interesting and beautiful things to yet your eyes wonder on. Though there was constant chatter, we could easily hear everyone in our 5 person party because of the quieter background music and the spacing of the seating.

What a disappointing experience after hearing/reading raving reviews and having to make a reservation a month in advance. The food was not bad per se but definitely not as incredible as others say. For starters, we were served their fried chicken which was promoted as their special dish for the night; they had staff walking around offering it for $15. I should’ve read previous reviews to learn that this is a dish they commonly offer. I also thought the way they promoted it was strange, and felt bad saying no. The only dishes that were actually noteworthy are the zucchini tiganites and cornbread. I'm always happy to splurge when it comes to meals but way too overpriced when the quality wasn't all there. The staff were not friendly. When I first walked in, the hosts had a very cold approach. The interactions I had with my waiter were quite awkward as well.
Nina N — Google review
This was one of the hardest reservations to get, so our expectations were very high — but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The appetizers were noticeably better than the main courses, and sadly, many of the dishes were overly salty. We ordered quite a lot to try a good range of the menu: Avocado muhammara, fava bean pâté, Cuban-style pork, the famous cornbread, fritters, sugar snap peas, Brussels bravas, halloumi, fried zucchini, lemon beef, BBQ duck, lamb sliders, and for dessert, loukoumades with brown butter coffee and corn butter cake. The standout dishes were the cornbread, sugar snap peas, lamb sliders, and BBQ duck. The sugar snap peas might have been our favorite bite of the night — perfectly balanced and flavorful. The cornbread was outstanding as expected: salty from feta, spicy from jalapeños, and slightly sweet — all in one bite. Incredible balance. However, found a hair in last bite of the cornbread, which really ruined the experience. The staff handled it professionally and removed the item from the bill, but for a restaurant of this caliber, it’s simply not acceptable. The BBQ duck had good flavor, but half the pieces were quite tough while others were overly salty. The lamb sliders reminded me of a sandwich version of an Iskender kebab — well-seasoned meat with yogurt sauce that nicely balanced the richness. Unfortunately, several dishes were almost inedible due to saltiness — especially the fritters, lemon beef, fava bean pâté, Cuban pork, and halloumi. The avocado muhammara and fried zucchini were fine, but not particularly memorable. For dessert, the loukoumades with Turkish coffee sauce were excellent — the sauce paired beautifully with the fried dough. The corn butter cake, however, was underwhelming. Overall, the experience was lackluster. Service started off great but dropped off after we ordered — it was hard to find our server, and check-ins were rare. Also, the drinks were mediocre, and the “Turkish coffee espresso martini” was particularly disappointing, arriving without much crema or foam. After waiting years to finally try Sarma, it was a letdown, and unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon.

Neptune Oyster

Seafood restaurant
Neptune Oyster is a small, upscale oyster bar located in Boston's North End, just a short distance from the water. The restaurant offers a variety of fresh seafood options, including oysters, lobster rolls, octopus, scallops, and sea urchins. With only 22 chairs and additional seating at the long marble bar, patrons can watch skilled oyster shuckers prepare over a dozen different types of bivalves.
This was my second time at Neptune Oyster since I’ve been visiting Boston for the last few years. You have to wait outside till the server sees you. This place is small but completely packed. They only have enough spots for maybe 50 people to eat. Probably one of the best Lobster Rolls in my life. The servers and staff were very nice, we ordered 3 lobster rolls and some oysters. Absolutely a great time. It’s loud in there new use it is such a small spot. If you are looking for a local spot that’s got great atmosphere and food this is the spot for you. Take time to enjoy the city and the local spots.
Patrick K — Google review
On a recent business trip to Boston, my first time in the city, I decided to wander through the North End and check out Neptune Oyster after hearing so much buzz. The long line spilling out onto the curb seemed like a good sign. I waited about 45 minutes for a single seat at the bar. Inside, the space is small but charming, with a handful of tables and mostly bar seating. I started with a “cup” of clam chowder, though be warned, it is closer to a bowl. The broth is light and on the watery side, not the creamy style I personally prefer, but it was packed with clams, which I appreciated. Next up, I ordered a half dozen oysters from their impressive raw bar. They had the best selection I saw in the area, with more than a dozen varieties from all over, and I chose a mix of Massachusetts oysters for a local taste. All were fresh and delicious. Of course, I had to try the famous lobster roll, especially since almost every table inside had one. I went with the hot buttered version. While the lobster meat itself was sweet and flavorful, the roll was heavy on the bread, not particularly warm, and overpowered the filling. The french fries served alongside were barely warm and so heavily salted that I could not eat them, and I love salt. I ended up eating the lobster and leaving both the bread and fries behind. Service at the bar was friendly and attentive, and the wine list had some nice options. Overall, I am glad I tried it for the experience, but on my next trip to Boston I will probably explore other spots in the North End instead.

Had one of our best meals in Boston here. Exceptional service and great wine to match. Sample several dishes and each one was amazing. If I’m going to be really picky, the tortilla for the taco was a little dry, but small issue based on the rest of the experience

It is a legendary eatery in Boston, and the food and ambiance clearly show how it rose to the title. The oysters are definitely a must, they have got an extensive ordering sheet complete with the flavour profiles of each oyster which they selected and shucked to perfection. Also don’t forget to get the giant clams that were juicy and tasty. I really liked all the other food too, they have a daily special that changes all the time and whilst we were here we had the clams pasta which was just delicious. Don’t be afraid of the crowd, you are in for a treat.

Absolutely worth the wait! Neptune has a cozy, charming vibe—even though seating is a bit tight, it just adds to the atmosphere. We waited about an hour and a half for a table for three, but it was worth it. The oysters were incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced, and the lobster roll was out of this world—100% recommend! If you’re not feeling seafood, the 16oz bone-in ribeye is amazing too—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. These guys need to expand!

Waited almost an hour in line last night. Here’s my take — the good, the not-so-good, and what missed the mark: The good: The lobster rolls, oysters and Johnnycake were good, though not quite exceptional enough to justify the long wait and higher prices. The not-so-good: The lobster tacos were a bit chewy, and the scallop crudo, while the scallops were fresh, was too salty for my taste. What missed the mark: The sea urchin was the biggest disappointment — it looked like there wasn’t much left in the shell, and unfortunately, it just didn’t feel worth it. Overall, I’m glad I tried it once, but it’s probably not a place I’d return to.
R C — Google review
Neptune Oyster is hands down one of the best seafood spots in Boston. The space is cozy and bustling, with a lively North End atmosphere, and the staff is warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The oysters were pristine — perfectly shucked, briny, and served with classic accompaniments (cocktail sauce, horseradish, and lemon). The tuna tartare was beautifully plated, with buttery tuna cubes layered over greens and topped with pistachios for a satisfying crunch. The highlight of the meal was the pan-seared fish entrée, cooked with crisp, golden skin and tender, flaky meat, paired with clams and seasonal vegetables that added freshness and color. Every dish felt balanced, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. Yes, the wait can be long, but it’s absolutely worth it. Neptune Oyster delivers an elevated yet approachable seafood experience that captures the best of Boston dining.
Jimmy S — Google review
So, let me answer the question everyone is wondering: Was it worth the wait? The answer is — it depends. If you wait an hour, yes, it’s worth it. If you’re waiting 1.5 hours or more, probably not — unless the weather is nice. We got lucky. We found a good parking spot where the kids could stay in the car, and the summer weather wasn’t too hot thanks to a nice breeze. That made the wait a lot more bearable. The first thing you'll notice is how small and noisy the place is. But if you love oysters, this is the spot. You're not likely to find oysters like these anywhere else on the East Coast. They were truly exceptional. The lobster roll was good, though not the best I’ve had. We also tried the sea urchin — a bit on the expensive side, but we lucked out because it was part of their Tuesday special, even though we visited on a Saturday. We ordered crab claws too, but cracking them was a hassle, especially since the server forgot to bring us the tools so definitely a hard pass for anyone hate cracking. The tuna was tasty but overly salty at the bottom. The razor clams were oily, but the flavor was excellent, and the mix of vegetables added a nice sweet contrast. One thing to be prepared for: they rush you. From the start, you're pushed to order quickly. We got the check while we were still eating, and when we tried to order more, our server wasn’t too happy. I get it — there’s a long line and she’d probably been working all day. But still, after waiting about an hour to get in, we hoped to enjoy our meal without being hurried. If you can overlook a bit of attitude, you’ll enjoy the food more. To be fair, this only applied to our server — the rest of the staff were great. Overall, this place is a “one and done” for us. The family enjoyed the food, and that’s really what matters. No oyster is worth an extremely long wait — but it’s worth trying once, just to say you had some of the best oysters in town.

Japanese restaurant
o ya is a renowned Japanese restaurant known for its inventive sushi, Japanese small plates, and tasting menus. Despite its unassuming location in the Leather District of Boston, it has gained a cult following and received national awards and recognition over the past 15 years. The 30-seat dining room offers an intimate setting for indulging in a 20+ course omakase menu that includes traditional and inventive sushi and sashimi, as well as savory courses.
Dinner was wonderful! We had two vegan tastings and the courses were delicious and diverse. We sometimes worry about the value of a vegan tasting at a sushi restaurant, but this one was very well-executed with many different vegetables and TONS of flavor. Really enjoyed the wine and sake pairing as well. Staff was lovely and knowledgeable. One of the nicest dining experiences I’ve had in the Boston area!
Kasey E — Google review
O Ya was good, but definitely not mind-blowing. We’ve had better sushi in a landlocked state — which says a lot. For the $825 we paid, the experience just wasn’t satisfactory. The sushi was fresh and well-made, but nothing particularly memorable or unique. At this price point, you expect something more elevated. It would feel more reasonable if the pricing were adjusted. The physical space also left a lot to be desired — we were seated at a bar table that felt old and worn, and my chair was wobbly. There was little attention to detail, and the atmosphere didn’t feel refined or special. Honestly, I would’ve been happy with the experience if it had cost about half of what we paid.

O ya, oh yeaaaah Food: extra fresh Sauces: so flavorful I drank them like a soup Seating: a bit tight at the bar but as long as you like the person ypu're seating next to it's fine The view: if you're at the bar (which is half the restaurant), you'll see the chefs prepping the food. If you are at a table, all you'll see is whoever you came with. Would definitely not recommend if you don't like sushi. Currently betting that they will get a michelin star.
Agapi A — Google review
Truly incredible. The ambiance is fun, the service was excellent (shout out to Tim), and the food is absolutely outstanding. This is definitely not your traditional omakase, but an omakase that creatively enhances each bite with new and unique flavors. Truly the best meal I’ve had in Boston. Would highly recommend the bar seating as it is so fun to watch the process happen. Also, we had an allergy and dietary restriction and they handled it so smoothly and confidently. We also were able to watch the vegan/vegetarian bites get made and they also looked incredible.
Aliya M — Google review
Our dinner at o ya was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to return the second we left and will be spending many birthdays eating here. Across our party someone tried the wine pairing, sake + wine, and sake pairing. All were excellent but the wine only pairing was the favorite.
Alexis N — Google review
O Ya had been a restaurant that I'd wanted to try for a long time, but it did not deliver on expectations. While many of the 20 courses served were excellent, some were not so good. On top of that, the atmosphere of the restaurant is not that of traditional omakase and it detracts from the special experience because it is so much more impersonal. The service was good and our server was very polite and helpful. At the extremely high price point and non-refundable reservations, O Ya simply cannot compete with alternative omakase restaurants in Boston.

Amazing occasion restaurant in Boston! Very knowledgeable servers/hosts, delicious courses & accommodating to gluten dietary restrictions. a 2-2.5hr experience that is worth it.
Emma N — Google review
We have been coming to this restaurant periodically since it first opened but, due to the pandemic, hadn't been here for quite some time and really was looking forward to the meal. It was a big disappointment. Everything tasted fine and a couple of courses were very good, however, the nigiri pieces were much smaller than before. We missed the creativity and interesting flavors that we had come to expect at O Ya. We had never left hungry before with the usual 20 course meal but this time had to order supplements. The wagyu sando was rich and tasted like a decent burger, but the fries were way overcooked. For a $65 supplement, we expected much better. While dessert is usually minimal and delicate, not a major part of an omakase dinner, the two small mochi flour discs with dipping sauce was uninteresting and didn't taste good, almost like someone had to whip up something quickly to finish off the meal. The overall experience felt really lacking for one of the most expensive omakases in Boston, especially compared to other options that are now available.

Field & Vine is a casual and trendy spot that prioritizes local farm sourcing for its small plates, beer, and wine. The restaurant's woodland fantasy ambiance is enhanced by the golden light streaming through shelves of plants, creating a magical atmosphere. The space features a tangle of vines and branches designed to resemble a forest canopy above the counter seats looking into the open kitchen.
I was there for a private event of around 50 people and the service, dishes, and feng shui were impeccable. Appetizers of tuna carpaccio and spicy trumpet mushrooms were a superb start, followed by cheddar scallion cornbread, grilled asparagus, and an unusual strawberry panzanella with stracciatella and basil. There were two mains, a scrumptious roasted chicken dish and a seared sablefish (my personal least favorite- but still perfectly prepared). I was glad to have room for dessert, a perfect lavender chocolate pot de creme. Wine selections throughout were well matched and attentively poured by the diligent staff. A wonderful dining experience!

We were a group of 4, so we tried 10 savory and 4 desserts ($300 for 4 with gratuity but no drinks). The cost is important because it creates expectations. The ingredients are amazing, the menu is great but unfortunately everything you order will not blow you away. Things we loved: cornbread, tuna carpaccio, mushroom salad, scoop of the day (corn ice cream). Things that we may love in the future: little gem salad, beet salad, potato with trout roe. Miscellaneous aspects the restaurant could easily improve: seating reservations on time (we were seated ten minutes late), the gratuity 20% and kitchen fee 3% should be communicated before we order, air conditioning (it's not good enough).

Dreamy woodland atmosphere with fresh, light delicious dishes all made with local ingredients and served by a super-friendly staff! Cozy space that’s great for a date night. Menu appears seasonal so dishes here represent summer offering. We particularly enjoyed the beef tartare and chilled beets, but everything we tried was delicious, striking a nice balance in flavor and highlighting the fresh local ingredients.

Excellent meal and atmosphere. Went her for my partners birthday. Outstanding, friendly service, food was great, place is really cool, not loud but enough noise, nicely spaced tables despite being small. We loved it. The food tasted like food, you could taste all the subtlety of it. Bravo.

Excellent spot. Food and service were amazing. Would definitely go back again. We loved the black sea bass, the yellowtail, the squash, the cornbread and the walnut cake. Every dish was delicious.

Had a fantastic dinner at Field & Vine last night. Such a charming restaurant - lovely vibes, warm and attentive staff, and incredible food. They know flavors here, and it shows in every dish. The Cantaloupe Salad was a revelation: perfectly ripe, sweet, and juicy melon, with salty, acidic, and umami elements in flawless balance. The same can be said for the Heirloom Tomatoes dish. The crème fraîche panna cotta was genius, and the whole plate was outstanding - with so much weight resting on the quality of the tomatoes for it to work this well. They’re working with exceptional produce and ingredients, and this was evident in every dish. Without going dish by dish through everything we ate, I would just say that a few other outstanding dishes later, plus a round of delectable desserts and Field & Vine shot to the very top of my “Best of Boston” list, joining a small, elite group of restaurants. I’m mad I waited so long to go, and I have a lot of catching up to do. Don’t make my mistake - go now - you will love it!

Absolutely delicious food in an intimate, warm dining atmosphere. Lovely date night. The broccolini, fried monkfish and grilled bluefish were all spectacular. Gorgeous presentation on all plates. Service was also top notch. Server routinely checked in, cleaned off the table halfway in while clearing some plates, topped off water and kept a bottle on the table too. Very nice. Will be back again soon!

The service and atmosphere were very nice, but food is uninspired and lackluster. Specifically would not recommend the gnocchi (all you can taste is oil) or the sausage (it's a sausage atop a very basic tasting bean stew for $41 after 20% automatic tip). If anything, get the squash curry and the swordfish.

Peruvian restaurant
Celeste is a trendy Peruvian restaurant located in Somerville's Union Square, just a short drive from downtown Boston. With its modern white-walled space and limited seating, dining here feels like attending a dinner party hosted by a well-traveled friend. The restaurant gained recognition on Esquire's Best New Restaurants in America list in 2018.
Super cute place with amazing food and cocktails. The mixed design ceviche was delicious, with some of the most tender squid I've ever had. Being more familiar with Spanish shrimp dishes, the Camarón al Ajillo was a different take that was really well executed. I want to bathe in the Aji del Gallino. The floral flavors of the Aji peppers and other warm spices combined to make a new comfort food for me. The mousse de lacuma was a nice easy to finish the meal. Would definitely go back.

Had a casual weekday dinner here - while I came in with high expectations, I still think the food left something to be desired. The lomo saltado was really good, but not different from other Peruvian joints. The scallop and lamb that we ordered were not outstanding. Ceviche and drinks were pleasantly tasty and we were very happy with the service throughout the night. Will revisit if the menu goes through a change
Allan R — Google review
The space is cute and the service was quick and great, but the issue for me was the mains. The scallops were tasty, but slightly under cooked. The pasta underneath was drowned in sauce that didn’t have enough time to cook down the garlic leaving a very intense raw garlic taste. 1/3 of the sauce would have been more than enough so I don’t have to fish for the pasta in the soup of sauce. A few more tomatoes would have helped give it the much needed acidity to cut through the intensely rich dish. 2 halves of a cherry tomato basically did nothing. Not pictured was the shrimp and mango ceviche which was quite good. The lamb stew was no memorable.

Oh MAN if you love seafood, you have to come here. Every single seafood dish was delicious. The ceviche with blue cod, the pupusa special with the GIANT prawn, the seafood risotto - wow. Each seafood dish was cooked to perfection, the mussels and squid were tender, the prawn was so flavorful, the flavors complemented the seafood so well. My friend loved the lamb stew and I liked it too but I wouldn't come here for it. The Peruvian mousse was so interesting too. The vibe of the place was so cool - it's a tiny restaurant and you get front row seats to the cooking action. Lots of Spanish spoken here. Cool lighting.

Possibly the best meal I’ve had in the Cambridge area. The lomo saltado was the star of the show—woooow. The ceviche was bright, fresh, wonderfully presented. The drinks were terrific. We’re already plotting our next visit.

I loved the lamb stew, the mixed seafood ceviche, and the fruit dessert. The food was all quite good. IDK the place is quite hyped and I don't think it's like the second best restaurant in Somerville or whatever

Although not the classical recipes for Tacu Tacu or Locro, their interpretation of both dishes were superb. The Causa Limeña was indeed very much like the original Causa limeña and their Peruvian drinks and deserts (Suspiro Limeño and Lúcuma Mousse) were absolutely fabulous. Gonzalo, our server was awesome!

Restaurant
Mahaniyom is a cozy spot in Brookline Village that offers a unique experience with its craft cocktails and Thai sharing plates. The restaurant stands out for its bar program, which features cocktails incorporating Thai ingredients into classic recipes. Owners Chompon Boonnak and Smuch Saikamthorn have brought authentic Thai dishes like rambutan salad and coconut-milk crab curry to Boston, focusing on shareable small plates with bold flavors.
TLDR: amazing food (get the beef massaman!!) and mocktails, lovely service, great music, friendly clientele — wish we could come here more often! More detailed version: Food: the food is delicious omg. The lamb chop special rocked, as did the larb and the pomelo salad, but the beef massaman made me want to live in that restaurant forever. Spicy and sweet and amazing in a way I can’t describe. We wouldn’t have ordered it, but the man sitting next to us at the bar recommended it (he gets it every time he goes), and he didn’t steer us wrong. Mocktails: they don’t have a mocktail menu, but the lovely bartender (Andrew) asked us what flavors we liked and then delivered drinks that were perfect and that complemented the food. Andrew is a gem. Atmosphere: the staff, music, decor, and other clientele just make this a lovely place to have dinner and relax. Love the food, the vibes, and everything. Recommend reservations.

Went for the second night in a row for dinner. Food is great (10/10); service is friendly; great place for dates, group dinners, and dates. We had the beef massaman, crab curry, and chive cakes with mocktails (special request to the accommodating bartender Andrew), Thai iced coffee, and sticky rice dessert. The massaman is our favorite (perfect combo of savory and sweet--please don't ever take this off the menu!!) and is enough for a full meal, and we wanted to try more on the menu. We weren't disappointed. Everything we've tried has been a hit. You won't be disappointed by anything on the menu. The staff are friendly and remembered us from the previous night. Pamika remembered where we sat; Andrew remembered our names. We felt welcomed and well fed. This is our new favorite Boston restaurant.

Wish I can eat the crab curry everyday. The crispy pork belly was also excellent. My complaint is the serving size and the price. Had to spend almost $90 just to feed two people. No drinks or dessert or apps.
M L — Google review
It’s expensive but good. I loved the attention to detail with the dishes, for example the lemonade had a beautiful purple and yellow gradient and the crab rice cakes were delicately garnished. As for the main dishes, I loved that they were decently spicy. The fried chicken was the star for me personally though, I don’t think I have had chicken skin so crisp but the meat so tender, at least the way it was cooked. The beef curry is very savory and the veggies aromatic. Great experience although prepare for it to be bush and tight!

I went for a friend’s birthday without reservation and, luckily, they got us seating by the bar as the restaurant was full. The service was very fast, they worked around allergies pretty well, and all dishes felt like they were made for sharing so we did. By the end, they offered us to go boxes free of cost (a true miracle these days). I highly recommend you to reserve a table if you come with more than 3 people, because seating is limited but don’t let it be an obstacle between you and this amazing food!!!
Aisha P — Google review
It’s better to come as a group so that you can try more things since the dishes are on the pricier side (but not too big of a group since the seating is also tight). Everything that I tried was very flavorful, although a bit salty for my preference. - Fried Chive Cakes ($11): Crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. I wish the sauce were spicy, but I liked this appetizer. - Beef Massaman Curry: The curry was delicious, and the roti was soft. I wanted to bring some of the curry home to eat with rice but forgot the container (sorry!!). - Beef Penang ($20): My favorite of the things I ordered. The beef was super tender, and the sauce was just right when eaten with rice. - Pad Thai ($23): I appreciated that this wasn’t overly sweet, which is a typical downfall of this dish, but this was my least favorite because the taste wasn’t very special. The shrimp was very plump, though. Reminded me of ginger scallion lobster at Chinese restaurants. I think I prefer the sister restaurant, Merai, but this was still a solid lunch.

We went a couple years ago and loved it, so we were excited to go back again. We made a reservation since we know the place is small. We were pretty disappointed, to be honest. I’m not sure we’ll come back again. The food and drinks were just okay (more details below), the restaurant AC had a hard time keeping up with the heat and the very tight seating, and the service was fine but not anything great. For food, we got the pomelo salad, razor clams, pig cheek, crab fried rice, fried chicken, and then their sticky rice dessert. The pomelo salad was the best - nice textures, some nice spice, delicious ingredients. It was the first dish to hit the table and we were excited to get more. But then everything else was sort of sad. The fried chicken was crispy but not really what I expect for fried chicken (was barely breaded). The razor clams were a bit gritty (but the flavor was nice). The pork cheek tasted a lot more like pork belly, and maybe that’s an unfair assumption, but it overall lacked flavor and was really chewy. The crab fried rice was really lackluster too. It needed way more seasoning and more crab. The dessert was tasty at least. The table next to us actually asked for more salt and seasoning for their food. I didn’t notice what they had, but that doesn’t seem like a great sign to me. The cocktails were just okay. My partner and I each had two, and we didn’t even really like one drink each. We love pandan but the flavoring was so strong that it was off-putting. If they are using a pandan essence, they can use less of it. There was nothing that wowed us about the other cocktails we each had. I don’t mind an intimate restaurant setting with really tight tables, truly, but the real candles on the table are scary when you’re trying to slide through tables to get up. And it’s not their fault the weather is gross and hot, but the restaurant felt really uncomfortable to sit in. We were all sweating. Last, the service. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. No explanation of anything, no recommendations, no description of food when it hits the table. They did check in on us, cleared the table, made sure we had water, and didn’t let our cocktail glasses sit empty. But for what we knew we were going to spend on the meal, I wanted a little more. Overall, I’m sad it wasn’t as good as I remembered. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. Maybe the server being more interactive and helping us build out choices better would’ve helped. Maybe they are having an off day. But for the price we pay, I don’t know I’ll give them another try and risk a similar experience.

Mahaniyom is a Thai Tapas place, well known in the Boston area located right outside of the Longwood area and in the heart of Brookline. The staff are quite friendly in this location, seating us nearly instantly and making sure things such as drinks are taken care of, food is brought out in a timely manner, and ensuring the night was enjoyable. It is a bit crowded and loud in the place, though it could just be our seating we were in. We got a wide range of dishes to try, such as the Khao Tang Na Tung, Salted pepper Pork Cheek with Sticky Rice, Kang Puu (Crab Curry), and the BBQ & Crispy Pork Rice, before ending with Lod Chong for dessert. The Khao Tang Na Tung was quite good, with a nice chili coconut sauce on it. The toppings blended together nicely, though it was kind of messy to eat. The Salted Pepper Pork Cheek was on the spicier side, with the salt and pepper packing a punch but not too overwhelming. With the Sticky rice, it was quite good and went really well with it. The BBQ & Crispy Pork Rice wasn't too special in our opinion, as it felt very average, and almost tasted similar to Char Siu sauce and like a Siu Yuk. The dish did well to satisfy though, and came with a dipping sauce similar to what we believe is Tamarind. The highlight of the night was the Kang Puu, The crab curry. It was very distinct, with vermicelli noodles and bean sprouts served on the side, and coconut smell. The coconut smell was a bit overwhelming, but the curry was quite good, not too spicy and not oily at all. The vermicelli went well with it, but I think that the sticky rice paired with it just as well. We also tried the Lod Chong, which was like a pandan coconut dessert with jelly on the inside. It was a bit of a disappointment due to the size and also it didn't really taste like much, but we were already stuffed by the end of it. Overall, a wonderful experience and definitely would go back.

Comfort Kitchen is a must-visit spot that lives up to the hype. The website provides clear parking options, and the plantains make for an excellent appetizer. The jackfruit sliders are a surprising flavor explosion, while the trout with brown butter is exceptionally tasty. The duck dish also impresses with its flavorful taste. This restaurant offers a masterful blend of flavors from the African diaspora and seamlessly integrates Middle Eastern, African, and Caribbean cuisines.
One of my favorite places in Boston! From the first welcome by the hostess, all the way to the last goodbye this place is infused with care, love and soul. Everything on the menu is exceptional and exciting. Unusual flavors blend masterfully with each bite, in a comforting way indeed. There is no feeling of heaviness or bodily discomfort afterwards, which is especially pleasant during warm summer nights. I’ve been here three times this month only, and can’t wait to return!

Pretty good food with lots of vegetarian options. Recommend the Jackfruit sliders and okra. My husband recommends the Pork Chop - although a savory dish but a little on the sweeter side. Must try the rice that you can request with the dish. All the food seemed like a fusion of African, South Asian and middle-eastern food. Expensive for the quantity served especially the appetizers - portions are way too small for the price. Even the non-alcoholic drinks came in tiny glasses which wasn’t worth the price at all. It’s a small place with basic and plain interiors and little loud. Everything aside, if you just want to eat good delicious food - they have it.

We visited Comfort Kitchen for the $70 Tuesday Non-Veg Thali per person. While the ambiance was lovely, the experience didn’t justify the price. The thali included pork with mustard greens, cumin rice, lentil soup, sesame potatoes, radish pickle, puri, raita, and rice pudding. The food was average, and the service was below average. As someone born in Nepal, I had hoped for more authenticity — but even my non-Nepali partner found it basic and overpriced. The thali is marketed as a Nepali or Rai thali. While some elements are Nepali or Rai, others like puri and raita aren’t part of the cuisine. Creative interpretation is fine, but presenting it as traditional feels misleading. We’ve visited Comfort Kitchen before and enjoyed their food despite wait times, high prices, and so-so service because we wanted to support the mission and community. But when the food is just average, the service still lacking, and the price this high, it crosses a line. We paid over $200 for two thalis, one drink, and fees. At that point, it felt less like a memorable night out and more like a profitable Tuesday for the restaurant. Comfort Kitchen has generated a lot of buzz, but this time, it didn’t live up to it.

I'm really torn on this place. I loved the vibe and the flavors were fantastic, but several parts of the experience just fell short. The atmosphere is a definite win. The decor is cozy and stylish, the service was prompt and friendly, and we loved the historical details on the menu—a really nice touch. When it came to the food, they absolutely nailed the flavors. The sauces were brilliant and everything was well-seasoned. The jerk duck was the star of the show—incredibly tender—and the Nepali chai was perfectly spiced and delicious. The problem was that for most dishes, the textures were completely off. The pork chop was dry, the beef was tough, and the roasted okra was soggy instead of crisp. Adding to the frustration was our table. Our group of four was squeezed into a tiny corner with barely enough room to eat comfortably, which made sharing an awkward experience. For the price, I just expected more consistency. I really wanted to love this place, and maybe we just caught them on a bad night, but I'd be hesitant to go back.

My partner and I went here for our 5th anniversary and had an amazing time! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The drinks were fantastic. I would highly recommend Dream Street and Put that on Everything. I would order those again 100 times over. Our waiter warned us the food was spice forward and said they could accommodate a lower spice level if needed which was very nice to offer. My partner and I can handle spice so we respectfully declined. We shared the okra, jackfruit sliders and yuca fries to start. I am still thinking about the okra and jackfruit sliders. The flavor was dimensional and the jackfruit sliders were perfectly spicy and sweet. The yuca fries were pretty good but I have preference for sauce on the side rather than over fries and I know to ask for that next time. For our mains our waiter suggested the jerk duck and my partner said she doesn't usually order duck but this was one of the best duck dishes she's ever had. It fell off the bone and the flavor was incredible. I got the cauliflower and it was pretty good and definitely a lot of cauliflower. Like a half a head of cauliflower. I loved the smokiness and the spice. I'm not sure that I would order it again but that's just personal preference. I loved the vibe of this restaurant. It's the perfect date night place and honestly any occasion going out. Overall, Comfort Kitchen was one of my partner and I's favorite dinners we have had this year and we look forward to returning in the near future!

This was not just eating at a restaurant this was a true dining experience. Eating at Comfort Kitchen has been on my food list for quite sometime as I do not live in Boston and when I knew I was going to be in town I immediately made reservations. Reservations fill up fast and now I see why. The idea behind the restaurant is what is so interesting and the added history of the restaurant location make it even more special. I started off with the Sour Sumac, which was delightful and very tasty. My appetizer was the Okra, this is not your average Okra. This was backed with flavor and was not slimy at all. I have never had Okra that was not slimy until yesterday. My main was the Jerk Duck, this is an absolute must! It was so tender, juicy and the jerk rub was spot on. As a foodie who travels the world eating at the best restaurants around the globe I see why Comfort Kitchen wins awards. I had the pleasure of sitting at the bar and can see the action on the kitchen. It was truly a beautiful dance to create amazing food. To actually see Chef Biplaw actually around the restaurant was a true joy. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Our dining club of nine had dinner at Comfort Kitchen and, unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the price. We were charged $765 total (including tax and tip) for a pre-set group meal that included three eggplant entrées at $75 each, three pork entrées at $85 each, and three fish chowders at $95 each, plus a few shared appetizers and dessert. When we did the math afterward, ordering the same items à la carte would have cost about $615 total with tax and gratuity—around $150 less for the same food. Portions were very small: only two plates each of beef, okra, and sliders to share among nine people, and for dessert we received half-size portions of mango ice cream (valued at $7 each). We were also told there would be outdoor heat lamps, but there was only one for our entire group, which made the seating area uncomfortably chilly. In addition, one person’s pork dish was forgotten until we reminded our server, Avi, who said it had to be cooked fresh—but by then, most of us were already finished eating. The flavors were excellent, but the portions, pacing, and setup didn’t justify the cost. If you’re organizing a group dinner here, make sure to coordinate in advance—ask exactly how many plates of each appetizer will be served, confirm the outdoor setup, and do the math ahead of time so everyone gets fair value.

Great food! We had the maple duck confit, aachar beef, goat ragu with gnudi, and greens. Everything was delicious, but the beef could have been slightly more tender. The setting is rather loud, and it can be difficult to hear in the tight (but cozy) space.

Grill 23 & Bar is a sophisticated chophouse known for its classic surf 'n' turf dishes and extensive wine selection. The restaurant boasts an elegant ambiance with white jacket-clad servers, ornate tapestries adorning the walls, and a dedicated second floor for private dining. As one of only 100 restaurants in the country to receive a Grand Award from Wine Spectator, Grill 23 & Bar takes pride in its exceptional wine list.
Over the past weekend, I visited Grill 23 for the first time with my girlfriends, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The ambiance was elegant, the servers were incredibly courteous, and every dish was outstanding. We started with the most delicious caviar and Thumbelina carrots, followed by the American Kobe Cap Steak and Prime Ribeye — both cooked to perfection. We ended our meal with their famous coconut cake, and it was heavenly! Everything from start to finish was perfect. The atmosphere felt lively and special, with guests celebrating birthdays and dressed beautifully. I can’t wait to go back again!

Firstly let’s start with the good. The wagyu carpaccio was really nice, maybe some of the best I’ve had (even as a person who doesn’t usually enjoy arugula). The portion sizes were huge. However, in a lot of the dishes I felt it meant quantity was prioritised over quality. Also, I am a person who enjoys trying a little bit of everything or at least not feel extremely full by the time the second course arrives. The price was not justified and I felt I could’ve gotten a better steak frites for much less somewhere else. The ice cream was also just normal. Nothing was horrible (except the noise but I will get into that) but for the elevated price you’d expect much much more. Also for that price, you’d expect a certain ambience in which this place was extremely lacking in. The noise levels were so bad I had to shout to get my voice heard by my family and I resorted to using the noise cancelling feature on my AirPods (even then it was still loud). Final advice, come here for drinks if: you and your friends know sign language, you want to bring someone who’s voice you find annoying (because you can’t hear them anyway), you want to admire the nicely decorated and designed room and leave immediately. Also at the end of our meal, when dessert came out, they brought out the incorrect dessert for my mother, but then brought out the correct one after being told. TLDR: very noisy, subpar food (for the price) other than the beef carpaccio, service was fine, don’t come before your reservation time you will have to wait

Came to dinner on my first night in Boston. This restaurant was recommended to me by a true Bostonian. It was excellent. From the reception, the spacious venue and comfort all the way down to having a table in the middle of the room where you enjoy the ambiance around the room and have view of the kitchen, it was a show in the evening I was there. Full house. Not an empty chair. The best is always the menu. Food and Flavor comes always First. Yes the service and our server was exceptional. We had some steaks, beef carpaccio and a calamari to die for. This restaurant is classic. Do it.

Classy Steak & Seafood restaurant. Our steaks were delicious, tender and cooked to perfection! We had the Steak Frites and the Filet Mignon. We started with Lobster Bisque Soup. So nice to have a proper Lobster Bisque with small succulent pieces of lobster. With the steaks we ordered Au Poivre (Brandy Peppercorn Cream) on the side. If you like pepper steak, then this is a must have! The mussels were very good. So fresh and well seasoned. We finished dinner sharing a cheesecake. So delicious!

So the food was good and i might say even very good. But it did not have that wow affect so I can't give a 5. New york prime steak was good. The steak and frites were also nice. The crab cakes were mid. You can definitely give this place a shot!

Grill 23 & Bar was an incredible Boston dining experience. We started the evening at the gorgeous bar, sipping the most amazing martinis—served perfectly chilled and covered in a layer of frosty ice, making them as Instagram-worthy as they were delicious. The complimentary bar snacks were a great touch while we relaxed for about an hour. For dinner, I had a perfectly cooked steak with rich, decadent millionaire potatoes, and finished the night with a smooth espresso martini. The atmosphere is elegant yet inviting, and the service was top-notch. Grill 23 is definitely a must for both food lovers and cocktail enthusiasts.

I’ve been to grill 23 a few times before and always had great experiences, but unfortunately this visit was a bit disappointing. I ordered the steak Medium Rare, but it came out noticeably more on the rare side. Even the waitress mentioned it was a little under medium rare and said they could have put it back on the grill if we wanted — but by that time, we were already almost done eating, so it didn’t make sense to send it back. Another thing that bothered me was that while we were still finishing our meal, the staff started clearing our table. I was talking and didn’t fully notice until they had already taken away most of the dishes — including some side dishes I hadn’t finished yet. Overall, although I really like this restaurant and have had great experiences in the past, this visit was disappointing. I’d rate it around 3 out of 5 for this time. While writing this review: I realized my beer got taken away without asking! RUDE!

The service was great and the staff are lovely. The restaurant's atmosphere is great for a date or celebration dinner. We tried the 3 course menu at dinner. The complementary breads 🥖 were actually really good and I used it to dip it in the seafood chowder (1st course) 🐚🐟 and it was amazing!! The chowder was 10/10. For the 2nd course, we tried the Steak Frites 🥩🍟 and Roasted Heritage Chicken 🍗. The steak was seasoned well (although I found it slightly salty) and was good but could be more tender. The chicken was moist and good (although the chicken breast part was a little dry). The 3rd course was dessert, and we got the Zucchini Cake 🍰 and the Salted Caramel Sundae 🍨. The Zucchini Cake was my favorite!! So delicious, not too sweet, moist and went so well with the oat crumble and blueberries with the yogurt mousse (my favorite out of everything I ate).

Row 34 is a trendy restaurant known for its wide selection of oysters, fish dishes, and craft beers. The name comes from the signature variety grown at Island Creek Oyster Farm in Duxbury Bay. With multiple locations across New England, including Boston's Fort Point, Burlington, Portsmouth, N.H., and Kendall Square in Cambridge, Row 34 has become a seafood staple.
Outside patio is nice - though fully enclosed so can get dark on a really nice day where you truly want al fresco dining. In a city with few outdoor dining options – this is great. On the menu standouts were the warm butter lobster roll, seafood, pasta, crab and artichoke dip. They have a great selection of oysters, though I didn’t see anything from the West Coast all Northeast. The drinks were decent, however,, they don’t have a license to serve hard liquor only beer and wine. They do make cocktails with a version of liquor.

Came here for dinner Saturday night—good thing we had reservations because it was busy! Got seated in the back right side of the restaurant where it felt more dim lit than the other side by the kitchen. Was a bit too dark for my preference even with a small candle on the table. Food was delicious! For appetizers, Raw Oysters were good and the Shrimp Pimento & Bluefish Pate spreads were excellent. For entrees, enjoyed both the Warm Buttered Lobster Roll and Fish & Chips! Didn’t eat the potato chips, they looked super greasy. Cocktails were great—loved the Dirty Gin Martini and GrandTen Vodka Cordial Freezer Martini! Service was great as well. Overall, the restaurant has a good ambiance. One thing I would flag is that they have these black metal plates sticking out from the wooden pillars in the front area—if you are not careful you can injure yourself, I almost hit the plate on my way to the restroom.

This place blew our minds! We had to come back two nights in a row. We were lucky to find a table since we didn’t have a reservation. Everything we tried from the menu was amazing. The New England Clam Chowder, tuna crudo, calamari, oyster slider, warm lobster roll, and monk fish were all incredible. The desserts were just as delicious! This is a must-try place. Even though the lobster roll is on the higher end of the price range, it’s worth every penny. I wish they have a spot in New York since this would be my go to place.

My husband, brother-in-law, and I stopped into Row 34 for a quick dinner before heading to the airport, and it did not disappoint! I’d heard so many great things about this place and was excited to finally try it. We originally came for the lobster rolls, but since the market price was $50 that night, we decided to mix it up and ordered the salmon poke bowl, the ceviche, the salmon entrée, and of course, a bowl of clam chowder. Everything was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The chowder was creamy and rich without being heavy, and the seafood dishes tasted incredibly fresh. Service was just as impressive — multiple staff members checked in on us, and everything came out at the perfect pace. Overall, Row 34 absolutely lives up to the hype. Great food, friendly service, and a lively Seaport atmosphere — I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Boston.

Right off rip, the Cornbread and Biscuit are out of this world. The atmosphere was good and the food was good as well. One thing I found a little outrageous is 52$ for a lobster roll is ridiculous, they literally put less than a quarter pound of lobster and it mainly claws. Our server was a nice guy but I wish he would’ve told me the price of the lobster roll beforehand.

We stopped in at Row 34 for cocktails and oysters. The experience overall was exquisite starting with the friendly staff. We ordered the Row 34 and Mookie Blue oysters and they were delicious and paired well with our Martinis. We added fries and they were firm and crispy and rounded out the whole experience perfectly! We had another round of cocktails and am certain all on the menu would be amazing. We went back the next day and the hostess remembered us and was so nice.

For the appetizer, we ordered the clam chowder, which was delicious and creamy. I also ordered Row 34 raw oyster which was something new for me. For the main course, we had the fish and chips and a burger. Unfortunately, both dishes had a noticeably bitter taste that we didn’t enjoy. Additionally, the waitress took the signed receipt before we left, which I felt was inappropriate.

Our visit was absolutely wonderful. Great food, very freshly made. The atmosphere was lively, the service was GREAT! Thank you to Kayla for getting all of the little details right. She made our visit spectacular. A must visit when coming to Boston!

Boston Logan International Airport

International airport
Airport
Boston Logan International Airport is a major hub in the Northeast, with direct rail service to the city of Boston. The Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston at Logan Airport offers convenient access to the airport and downtown, with free breakfast and 24-hour shuttle service. Travelers staying near Downtown Waterfront, Seaport, Charlestown, or the North End can take a water taxi from the airport terminals.
This is my new favorite airport in America. I Had a really smooth experience at Terminal E. Security was quick and easy, which made getting through stress-free. The British Airways lounge was great with plenty of seating and a nice variety of food options. The shuttle bus between terminals was fast, convenient, and made it simple to get around. Overall, everything felt well organized and traveler-friendly.

Boston Logan Airport was quite busy at security, but everything moved fairly smoothly. The terminal itself was impressively neat and clean, which made the overall experience pleasant. The waiting areas were comfortable and well-maintained, offering a relaxed vibe before boarding. There’s a small duty-free section—not huge, but enough for a quick browse. Overall, a solid airport experience with room for minor improvements in crowd management.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Boston Logan International Airport ✈️ is one of the most efficient and welcoming airports around! Even international arrivals 🌍 are a breeze — thanks to the MPC app 📱, you can zip through customs in minutes! 🙌 Departing is smooth too — security is quick ⏱️ and the atmosphere is surprisingly relaxing. 🎶 Don’t miss the beautiful Steinway Grand piano 🎹 in the waiting area — a classy touch that makes travel feel special! 💼✨
Anthony C — Google review
generally smooth and efficient travel experience, especially when it comes to domestic connectivity and overall airport accessibility. The airport is well-connected to the city, with various transportation options including taxis, ride-shares, the Silver Line, and shuttles — making arrival and departure quite convenient. However, one noticeable drawback is the distance between terminals, especially when traveling internationally. The international terminal (Terminal E) is quite far from the other terminals, and the current airport transportation system doesn’t make inter-terminal transfers as seamless as they should be. For travelers with tight layovers or connecting international flights, this can be quite stressful and time-consuming.
Krunal S — Google review
Not bad experience for taking a flight, the line wasn't long but it was so slow. The airpot was clean and cool. Not many food options at the American Airlines terminal B 1, but the computer work stations are great.
Jen B — Google review
The airport is clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. Security and check-in lines move quickly, and staff are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of food options, comfortable seating areas, and charging stations throughout the terminals. Signs are clear, making it simple to find gates and baggage claim. Overall, a smooth and stress-free travel experience one of the better airports in the U.S.!

A real true landmark, over 100 years old. Boston Logan International Airport opened on September 8, 1923, as "Boston Airport" or "Jeffrey Field" and was initially used by the Massachusetts Air National Guard and the U.S. Army Air Corps. Commercial passenger service began in 1927, and the airport was officially renamed in honor of General Edward Lawrence Logan in 1943. The airport has since expanded significantly, becoming a major transatlantic hub and undergoing modernization projects, including the addition of a new runway in 2006.

Good: ✅ I appreciated having airside access to all terminals during a layover. ✅ Good selection of restaurants airside. ✅ Clean and convenient restrooms. ✅ Wide concourses move large amounts of passengers. ✅ Good looking airport—easy on the eyes. ✅ Good signage making navigation easy. Bad: ❌ Terminals are long and connected end-to-end. There are no shortcuts or trains, so moving around can be a good workout. This rating based on a single, layover visit. I did not experience the landside or any security checkpoint.

Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport

International airport
Airport
Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport is a regional airport located in Warwick, Rhode Island, with direct rail service to Providence. The airport features good signage and efficient lines for baggage claim and rental car pick-up. While it may be a bit of a walk from the gates to the rental car area, overall navigation is easy. Visitors appreciate the helpful and friendly staff as well as the clean and pleasant bathrooms, which are equipped with modern amenities like automatic toilet seat covers and fresh plants.
This airport 🛫 is very easy and accessible from where I live and it's a short and more direct drive and traffic to go here to this airport than Boston Logan Airport. The TSA is far better than airports, easier and more pleasant, and their lanes go quickly. The bathrooms are beyond clean and immaculate and by far the safest the have the long walls and there always well- kept up ! Other airports bathrooms aren't up to par . This is a decent airport and me and my family and I have been coming to T. F. Green for many many years, and we love flying out of their airport. It's a small airport but a good one ! Never had a problem with this airport, I would rather fly out of T.F. Green any given day, then Boston Logan Airport. The whole overall experience is a much better one ! Love this airport! We fly frequently to do wellness checks on my very " Elderly Grandparents " who live in Florida. So I personally and highly recommend flying out of T.F. Green Providence Airport 🛫 🛬!

Took the bus from downtown to the airport. It was fantastic. Took about 40 - 50 mins. The driver was polite and helpful. Bus drops you right in front of the airport. 1-2 min later, I’m upstairs at the tsa gate. Breezed through at w/in 5-29 min. As of this review, didn’t need to take out or off anything (electronics nor shoes). Just placed bags in bins and away we go. Women’s bathroom was bright, clean, welcoming with modern conveniences - - natural lights - fresh flowers - deep sink with built in efficient air hand dryer - no need for paper - automated toilet seat covers and flushes - tall stall doors with occupied / available indicators. Now, if they can just get the water temperature cooler. Not sure why airport bathroom faucet temps tend to be on the too hot (borderline burning) temps.
Philip S — Google review
Security was very quick. Bathrooms were very clean and spacious. Half the airport is under construction and there are no bathrooms open at one end of the terminal. Baggage claim was quick.
John R — Google review
Small airport with much cheaper flights than Boston. Offers many destinations and is clean. Many flights of mine have gone out of here and with recent renovations, this airport has an even greater future.
Liam — Google review
I don’t think I’ve ever felt compelled to write a review for an airport before, but I’m genuinely impressed with how TF Green has evolved. It’s become such a welcoming, elegant, and modern airport. I know it’s not the biggest airport — and honestly, I kind of appreciate that — but what really stands out is the calm, relaxed, and professional energy it now has. Maybe it’s because I’ve flown in the middle of the week and not during peak hours, but the last few times I’ve traveled through here, the atmosphere has been consistently smooth and pleasant. It’s a huge change from the past when it used to feel tense and chaotic. Even TSA and airport staff have noticeably shifted their tone and energy. Everyone seems friendlier, calmer, and genuinely focused on good service. I don’t feel rushed or stressed — and that alone makes a big difference. The terminals look great, the bathrooms are clean and sophisticated, and the overall layout feels much more efficient. Whatever changes were made — they worked. I can see why TF Green was recently voted one of the best airports. After flying through several times since August, I completely agree. Great job, TF Green team 👏✈️

Although parts are under construction, we enjoyed the cafe in the baggage claim area and the military lounge before checking in for our flight. Restrooms are top notch—newly renovated—and security checkpoint was quick and easy.
Shelley C — Google review
I usually wouldn't review an airport but this airport was extraordinarily clean and nice. The restrooms were spotless. No dirty, no messes, no trash. The stalls went nearly all the way to the ground and had nice looking wood veneer. The crown jewel however was the toilet if you can believe it. The motion sensor activates a plastic sleeve which wraps around the entire toilet seat in a circle for new coverage for every user. There are even videos on YouTube showing it in action. Never felt so clean, safe, and relaxed in a public restroom. After this experience and the overall cleanliness of Providence it's clear we live in a dump here in SoCal. Embarrassing.

The most helpful info desk staff I’ve encountered! I was in a rush and pretty confused about the public transportation system - the two gentlemen helped me to figure out the routes etc. Also it’s always great to have some live music in life :)
