My husband and I are real pizza lovers, and wherever we travel, we’re always hunting for a great pizza spot. On our recent trip to Bismarck, we found CraftCade, and honestly, it was such a fun experience for us. The place has a fantastic old-school arcade vibe that felt fun right as we walked in and the staff were all super friendly.
A standout feature is the beer wall. The self serve tap system is a clever concept that adds an extra layer of fun to the experience. Unfortunately, not every arcade game was working. But honestly, it didn’t bother us much. It’s just worth noting that some of the machines seem to have been out of order. As for the food, the pizza was very good! We ordered an 18-inch pepperoni with hot honey. The crust was crispy, the toppings were fresh, and the hot honey gave it just the right sweet and spicy kick.
Overall, CraftCade is a place we’d recommend to anyone visiting Bismarck. Great pizza, fun games, and a cool vibe—we’ll definitely return.
The CraftCade has a laid-back, fun 80s/90s retro vibe that my wife and I really loved. I ordered an 18" New York-style pizza, which had great flavor and texture. Hot honey wasn't on the menu, but they had some--and it was perfect with the giant pepperoni slices.
They also have a pour-your-own beer wall with a bunch of options, which was pretty cool.
Most of the old games are free to play. A few were in rough shape, but we still had a fun time. The newer games and pinball machines cost to play.
Great service at both the bar and the pizza counter.
Overall, we had a great time--some awesome pizza and a round of Mario Kart on the Switch while seated at the bar
Had some take out pizza. We had heard rumors all over town that this place was shutting down. I would understand since many of our visits were hit or miss in the past. On this trip, I went to the back of the room to pick up my pizzas and had to wait over 5 minutes for anyone to come out. I could see staff milling around in back and I finally had to go around the corner and wave staff for help. I could see my two boxes of pizza getting hopelessly cold on a rack. The young man that came to help seemed a little out of it and looked confused trying to engage his register. He eventually gave up and sent me back to the front with my getting colder by the second expensive pizzas. Had to wait another 5 minutes waiting for the single bartender to wrangle a small line of customers. Very frustrating. Finally got to pay and rushed home. The pizzas, not surprisingly, were cold. Family dug in and we all noticed that both pizzas had practically no tomato sauce on them. There was a very slight veneer I guess but you had a hard time tasting it. I've been to New York and had mouth watering NY style before and they didn't have a sauce shortage on their fare. For the premium price we're paying, give us some sauce, please! Makes for a dry unsatisfactory experience. Wife and kids, not happy. Dad not happy. I hope food quality and customer service pick up or those rumors going around may yet come true. This is a decent place so please don't blow it. The place was really dead quiet for a Friday night.

Visit during off-peak hours to avoid crowds and have a better gaming experience
Be patient as some arcade games may be broken or not working properly due to heavy use
Try different pizzas by ordering half one way and half another from their awesome selection
Check out the pour-your-own beer wall but watch out for potential foaming issues on taps
Reviews
The CraftCade offers a unique dining experience with delicious food, including amazing pizza and sandwiches, although some reviewers found the portion sizes small. The arcade games provide great entertainment, especially during off-peak hours when it's less crowded. The self-serve beer wall is a hit among visitors, despite occasional issues with foam from taps. Overall, the retro vibe, friendly staff like Kelly, and fun atmosphere make CraftCade a highly recommended spot for good food and entertainment in Bismarck.

We went for Old School MTV trivia night, it was lots of fun!
All of the staff are super friendly especially the trivia night host he did a great job.
The decor here is super cool plus plenty of cool arcade games.
There's a great drink selection and the pizza we got was super good. We will definitely be back! 😁
Fun place. I made the mistake of ordering ahead.... Not realizing all the arcade games were free. It was nice to play a couple of games before leaving. Pizza was a bit short on toppings. I ordered a large Hawaiian and there were 2-3 pieces of Canadian bacon and pineapple toppings per slice.... Could have used a bit more for a $30 pizza.
