It was our first time visiting the place as a family. I was kinda shy because I was not familiar with the menu. One of the staff members was very helpful in helping us to choose from the menu. We ordered waffles with ice cream and a small cake for my son who couldn't eat ice cream as he was coming down with flu. We had a good time. The ice-cream was marvelous. The queue though not at all flattering. We were around the area so decided to get ice-cream and were looking for the best ice-cream. We passed a couple of shops until we saw this one and decided to go with it because we saw the long queue and knew surely their ice-cream is nice otherwise why would so many people queue for it rather than go to the other outlets and we were not disappointed for sure.

Visited this ice cream parlor situated in Melrose Arch. I was not happy with service and the product. The waitress’s were not receptive and welcoming.
We ordered cappuccinos, which were ill prepared , we couldn’t even taste the espresso in it. We also had some waffles which were also not value for money, the gelato was not creamy and the waffle bread was just stale. The store is overpriced and the presentation of food is falsely advertised on their social media.

The gelatos are not labelled and closed lids, hence cannot see but only imagination!! We tasted 3 or 4 and the guy started that we had too many tastings and "This is your last one!!!" We annually but our birthdays cakes from this brand as we have never had a cake that didn’t look good or taste delicious so this year was no different. The store is so cozy and inviting. The ladies were very friendly and helpful. There is a small table and chairs available inside the store so that a slice of cake and a drink may be purchased and consumed on the premises. We recently visited Crumbs & Cream in Sandton, Johannesburg with our kids, excited to share the experience after enjoying their Cape Town branch. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations. The cookie selection was very limited, the ice cream options were fewer, and the ice cream we did get was already melted. On top of that, the staff in Cape Town were much friendlier and made the experience feel special, which sadly wasn’t the case here. Especially since this branch is located in Sandton, we expected the same standard and experience as Cape Town. We drove quite a distance to give it a try, but it just wasn’t the family outing we had hoped for.

A cute little store in Illovo/Rosebank area. The staff was very friendly and it wasn’t busy at all when we went. I was a bit disappointed with the ice cream selection as there were only four options. The cookies are very good but the ice cream was a bit average and be warned everything is very sweet. The parking situation is very awkward and doesn’t seem wheelchair friendly from what I could tell. The area is a little bit dodgey feeling but definitely not unsafe. I think I would come here again but won’t be rushing back.

This newly opened Crêpe and Waffle Bar is a great addition to the breakfast scene in Sandton!
The atmosphere takes you far away to a small cafe somewhere in France. We especially loved the painted wall and cozy pillows all over.
The food was so scrumptious that we just didn't want to leave! We started with one of their sweet waffles - strawberries, cream and ice cream with raspberry sauce on the softest waffle bed, was just to die for. After dessert, we ordered some savoury crêpes. Cranberry Jelly with Camembert and Parma Ham, Chicken and Mushroom, and Smoked Salmon with Red Onion, Cream Cheese, and Dill. And all we can say for this is... OMNOMNOM. Even their pancake mixture was delicious, it was really light and packed full of flavour!
This place is a great contrast to the cold winter. Once inside it is so warm and inviting, everyone was super friendly and all the patrons looked like they were having a great time too.
We will definitely be back for more crêpes and waffles!

Utterly disappointed at the service issued at this store. Google says opened until 9pm. Got there at 7:30pm with a family of 8, another family of 4 where there too. We were told we cannot be served as they halt operations 30min before closing, 8pm. When we stated that there is no information on the closing times they mentioned they argued with us and refused to serve us. We were all there for ice cream. Some of us came as far as Benoni and Pretoria. We declined dessert at Tang just to try their ice cream only to be turned down. Way to go Lindt Sandton. Customer first is obviously not a focus.
