What are the travel restrictions like there right now? I was thinking of going as well, but I thought you had to quarantine for 14 days after arriving?

I haven’t but I would love to go! I met some nice guys from Kazakhstan during my trip to Dubai a few months ago.

We took a trip to Vietnam a few years ago as a family and it was amazing. My friend owns a travel company, discover elsewhere. He used to live in Cambodia and Vietnam and knows lots of people there. He’s originally from Australia. He hooked us up with one of the most amazing tours doing things that were the usual bit of but off the beaten path as well. For example we met a woman who is physically handicapped but makes the most Beautiful conical straw hats and all of Vietnam. We did tours on the backs of motorbikes, in rickshaws. We took trains and boats. One of our favorites was we took Vietnam war era jeeps and we had drivers and We rode up through the hill country for a two day adventure. It was amazing.

I personally don't think that 20 days are enough to explore and enjoy both. Choose 4 or 5 locations in one country. Bali isn't big but traffic is dense and slow moving. Roads are something of an adventure in places. I prefer the northern parts of the island - the southern areas are busy, crowded and very touristy. Thailand is huge and getting to islands can be time consuming. Some of my favorites : Koh Tao, Nang Yuan, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui OR Koh Yao Yai, Koh Yao Noi and Naka Island with a final few days in Phuket or Bangkok (plan the airport cities for the last few days in case bad weather delays ferries) Have fun planning and enjoy your honeymoon

St Regis Maldives is amazing and one of the larger resorts. We loved it so much.

Taiwan: - Go to different night markets for meals. Just try all the different foods. Don't ignore the fruit juice stalls - they make fresh juice for you on the spot. - Go to tea places in Alishan and Muzha. - Visit Jiufen for a day trip. - Visit the National Palace Museum.

I recommend going to the search and putting in Japan, you will find insanely overwhelming answers. They have some specific to city too. That is what I did in 2020 before covid nixed my plans. So depending on covid again I may be going this year.
