For a beautiful look into nature I recommend Viñales, it’s a most see, for beaches my favorite is Varadero, but if you can afford something a little more out there ,Los cayos are stunning, the most beautiful waterfalls I’ve ever seen are in El nicho, I’ve personally never been but my grandpa’s paintings just make it look magical and his pictures make look like such an adventure. Whatever you do, go to the Fabrica on a weekend night. It’s like a nightclub, art gallery, bar, mini pop up restaurants all in one. Super cool

Just was in New Orleans a few weeks ago. It’s definitely a party city with tons of amazing food and cocktail bars. Definitely a place to go for foodies and if you want to be able to buy a cocktail at 7 AM on a Tuesday. A week may be too much for NOLA though, so you’d want to pair with another place (would suggest Nashville). Costa Rica recommend as well... stick to the north of Costa Rica (fly into Liberia). Lots of jungles and hiking, waterfalls, beaches, jungles to do zip lining and tree walks. Definitely would be a good trip for a week and filled with outdoor things. If you want to do something else, go to Panama for a few days. Lots of things to do in Panama City as well. Another cool spot to recommend is Colombia. Bogota is such an amazing city and you can pair with Cartagena or Medellin. It’s only another 1.5-2.5 hours flying from Costa Rica, so putting that there if you want to go a bit further. Haven’t been to Cuba or Guatemala, but both are on the list

I stayed at an air B and B in Havana and loved it. We had a rooftop deck overlooking the city and the bay. I did a day in Vinales for horses, rum, honey, and cigars and also snorkeled to a shipwreck near Havana.

I found Aruba really touristy feeling. However, great restaurants and beautiful beaches. But most of the people who go there are interested in that touristy kind of place. To me, it felt like cancun but instead of all-inclusive, they’d go to restaurants. And not to say this is a ‘bad’ way of traveling, just depends what you enjoy. If I can recommend, Curacao was really nice, more secluded, and larger. Eleuthera is secluded, middle of nowhere type feel for the most part. Whatever your travel style is, I hope you find what you works for you.
