This is awesome! You get to see the waterfall from 10 different viewing spots. Plus the views of the valley are amazing! My recommendation: Take the lift up as far as it goes, then walk the rest of the way to the very top (lift doesn't go that far). Then walk down to catch the viewing spots you missed during the lift. The walk is nowhere as steep or rocky as Staubbachfall. I enjoyed Trummelbach so much more. It's a wonderful experience! P.S. Free parking and a cute little cafe right outside (we didn't try it, but it was popular).
Maybe the one thing in Switzerland that doesn’t feel overpriced. Awesome experience. The roaring of the waterfalls in the caves was potentially a cooler experience than the actual waterfalls themselves. Plenty of parking Pro tip: take elevator to the 6-10 waterfalls and then make your way down from 6-1. Was an hour and a half experience for us.
Spectacular falls which are well set up with all the different viewpoints. I took the lift up to viewpoint 6 then walked the stairs to the top, which isn't difficult but you definitely need good grippy shoes. I didn't get too wet, only a few drips here and there but you will need a jacket as it is very cold. There is a little souvenir shop located along the path as well as the cafe with clean toilets. I stopped for coffee and a muffin, both were delicious 😋
An unforgettable experience! Trümmelbach Falls is a truly unique natural wonder — 10 glacier waterfalls hidden inside a mountain, carrying meltwater from the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. You ride a lift up through the rock and walk through tunnels, stairs, and bridges carved into the cliff. It’s moderately physical (lots of steps!), but totally worth it. The sound and power of the waterfalls — up to 20,000 liters per second — is breathtaking. Well organized, very safe, and perfect for a 1-hour visit. Highly recommend wearing good non-slip shoes. Tickets were CHF 14 for adults (2024) and free parking is just a 2-minute walk from the entrance.
Trümmelbach Falls, in Lauterbrunnen Valley lets you walk inside a mountain, with roaring waterfalls echoing through rock tunnels. The short hike includes stairs up and down, so wear sturdy shoes. There is optional lift inside the mountain. Visit early to avoid crowds and bring a waterproof jacket—the spray is strong. Tickets can be bought on site. The dramatic sound and close-up views make it a rare natural wonder worth seeing. Photography is allowed but watch your gear around water.
Very cool experience! The admission is 15CHF per adult and 7CHF per kid and for us it is it was definitely worth it. Not to mention that the walk to the area is breathtaking.
The walk to the falls was magical! There is an entry fee, I can’t recall the amount. You will get wet. There’s a bakery that you can enjoy before or after that was delightful!
🌊 **Trümmelbach Falls: Where Glaciers ROAR Inside the Mountain!** 🏔️💥 Picture this: 10 thundering waterfalls, *carved deep into a mountain*, fueled by the meltwater of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau glaciers. That’s Trümmelbach Falls—Switzerland’s underground spectacle that’ll leave you awestruck! 📸 **Why This Is a MUST-See:** ✅ **Glacial Powerhouse** – Witness 20,000 liters of water *per second* crashing through narrow gorges. ✅ **Mountain Elevator** – Ride a funicular into the cliffside to explore caves, tunnels, and jaw-dropping viewpoints. ✅ **Nature’s Sculpture** – Marvel at how water has carved swirling, roaring chasms over millennia. **Pro Tips:** 🔊 **Earplugs optional** – The roar is *deafening* (in the best way). 👟 Wear waterproof gear – You *will* get misty! 💰 Entry fee: ~CHF 16 (worth every franc). 📅 Visit May-October when the falls are accessible and raging! **Pair It With:** ✨ Staubbach Falls (5 mins away) – Combine the raw power of Trümmelbach with its graceful neighbor. 🚞 Jungfrau Railway – Continue your alpine adventure to the “Top of Europe.” This isn’t just a waterfall—it’s Earth’s heartbeat turned up to 11. Have you ever felt this level of natural power? 🌍💦 #TrümmelbachFalls #SwissAlps #GlacierMagic #EpicNature #AdventureAwaits *P.S. The spiral staircases inside the mountain feel like a secret dwarven kingdom. 🧙♂️✨*

Beautiful city! The walking path to view all the waterfalls is a must. So happy we stopped here and would recommend this town to anyone who comes to Switzerland!
Lauterbrunnen Valley is absolutely breathtaking! The river runs crystal clear, waterfalls cascade from the cliffs, and during spring, the valley is filled with vibrant yellow flowers. A truly magical place to experience nature at its best.
Such a beautiful little town, very clean and well maintained. The streets are charming and it has a really pleasant atmosphere. We spent about two hours strolling around, taking our time to enjoy the views and the peaceful vibe. A lovely place to wander and soak up the surroundings.
Walking through the village, you’ll be greeted by traditional Swiss chalets, vibrant flower boxes, and the soothing sound of cascading water. The views are simply unforgettable—lush green meadows, dramatic rock faces, and the majestic Staubbach Falls tumbling down near the village center. Whether you’re hiking, biking, or just strolling, every corner offers a picture-perfect scene. For adventure enthusiasts, Lauterbrunnen is the gateway to incredible experiences: take a cable car up to Mürren or Wengen for panoramic alpine views, or explore nearby Jungfraujoch for a high-altitude thrill. If you prefer a slower pace, enjoy a coffee at a local café while soaking in the serene beauty of the valley.
Lauterbrunnen is a valley that feels straight out of a fairy tale—it's absolutely stunning. Staubbach Falls is just a short walk from the town. I visited in April and got to explore Staubbach Falls, Trümmelbach Falls, and Mürren.

Beautiful, tall, gorgeous falls, sitting just beyond a small village that obviously gets a lot of tourists' attention. There's a large paid parking lot near the base of the falls and the trail up to the side of the falls. And, though there's a crowd headed up the trail, it's worth taking! Just make sure to bring good shoes and maybe an umbrella or raincoat, or you will get wet!
An amazing sight! The waterfalls + the surrounding mountains, the sky and the villages= perfection. It’s the perfect blend of grandeur and simplicity—nature’s own masterpiece. I can stay here all day staring at the naturescapes and to just people watch. Nature therapy at its best.
Staubbach Falls is located near Lauterbrunnen Station, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The waterfall is surrounded by stunning cliffs that make the scenery look magical. You can even walk behind the waterfall, which makes the experience even more amazing. It’s truly a spectacular and unforgettable place!
One of Europe’s highest free-falling waterfalls (almost 300m). It feels like a silver ribbon drifting down the rock face. Simple, peaceful, and straight out of a postcard. Just stand and admire - pure Swiss magic! Great views of snow capped mountains from the same site. There's a church and a railway station nearby.
Honestly, the waterfall itself felt pretty average — I’ve seen too many. But with the Swiss flag waving and the sunlight shining through, it did have its own special charm.
Lauterbrunnen is a small village that attracts quite a lot of tourists, and the public restrooms can be insufficient. This was our second visit after 12 years, and it seems like there are even more tourists now than before.
Take a short hike from the town of Lauterbrunnen to find the stubbach falls. In all honestly, it was nothing majestic , just a small waterfall the goes off the top of the cliff.
Beautiful, amazing, wonderful. But don’t take the little hike that goes behind it if it’s crowded. Long waiting time and not worth it. Take the cable cars for better views.

We had an incredible experience paragliding with Airtime!!! Our pilots, Wouter and Jack, were absolutely amazing, they answered all of our questions, made us feel very safe, and made it an unforgettable experience. My husband has a slight fear of heights and did really well, only had a few moments of the stomach drop feeling but otherwise had a blast and felt very secure. 10/10 would recommend!
I went paragliding for the very first time in Mürren, and the experience was absolutely phenomenal. My pilot, Ben, was amazing not only professional and skilled, but also really funny, which made the whole flight even more enjoyable. The views are beyond incredible, and the entire Airtime Paragliding team was so kind and welcoming. I felt safe, comfortable, and completely taken care of from start to finish. If you’re thinking about going paragliding in Switzerland, I 100% recommend Airtime Paragliding. It truly couldn’t have been a better experience!
I'm so happy I chose Airtime Paragliding for my first paragliding experience. Booking online was easy, and the meeting location was conveniently located close to the Mürren cable car station. They sent a text via WhatsApp 24 hours prior to confirm the booking with helpful information. My friend and I got there early and didn't have to wait at all. Our guides took us on a short steep walk up to the takeoff (a grassy hill not a cliff lol) where they explained everything to us in detail and helped calmed our fears. I was so anxious leading up to paragliding, but I was paired with Jack and he was so kind and reassuring! The takeoff and landing were so smooth, and it felt like we were just floating through the air. I got to fly for about 20 minutes which was awesome. Jack let me steer for a bit and then did some cool tricks at the end which was exhilarating! The views were unreal, and it was the highlight of my time in Switzerland. If you're scared, or worried about the expense, my advice is just send it! It's a once in a lifetime opportunity that you'll never forget.
I had the BEST time paragliding in Mürren and my pilot Jack was amazing! The online booking process was so easy. This was my first time paragliding and I was excited but a little nervous. Jack made the experience so fun and put my nerves at ease. The takeoff was easy – just a few running steps. Once we were in the air, it was so peaceful with the most amazing views. I got a chance to steer the paraglider, and then Jack did some “tricks” – he spun us all around. It was scary but so fun! Jack also got lots of fun photos and videos during our flight! If you’re in Mürren, I highly recommend booking your paragliding with Airtime! I can’t wait to go paragliding again!
BOOK IT - BOOK IT NOW! Budget traveling? Never heard of her. Even if you are a cheap traveler, please splurge on this. I promise it will be one of the best things you ever do. The entire team we encountered was helpful, friendly, and comforting. We had one person with us who was slightly above the weight limit on the website (198 pounds) so reached out to them via WhatsApp the day before to ask. We chatted through their weight, height, physical fitness level, and were able to complete the booking. They answered almost the second they opened that morning. The pilots we had were incredible. I was with my mother who was terrified but they were able to talk her through the whole process and managed to get her off the mountain - something I really did not think was possible. I will say the photos and videos offered (40 euro per person) is worth it. The only thing is depending on which instructor you have, some take better / more photos than others. However, you truly cannot get a bad photo given the location - the air over the Alps! The next day we wanted to go back and do it again - I promise you will not regret the money you spent but will regret the memories you didn't make.
Amazing experience! Our whole family went paragliding including our 9 year old daughter. The team at Airtime was friendly and professional and always responsive on WhatsApp when we had questions. Daniel did a great job flying with our kid and making her comfortable. Definitely the best part of our vacation. Thanks again guys!
Went with a friend, flew with Michael and Mario(hopefully these are the right names). They're obviously knowledgeable of the sport, comfortable in the air, and they seem to love what they do which made me enjoy the experience all the more. Felt as though we were in the air for 20minutes, although didn't keep track so who's to say - I was too mesmerized by the view. In general, lovely first experience. Even the small hike to the starting point was beautiful. A literal weight off my shoulders to watch them haul the parachutes up the mountain side.
Awesome experience. Online bookings for the day were full but a chat through WhatsApp secured me a place in the last flight of the day. The view is overwhelming in the beginning but incredibly spectacular. You fly close to the waterfalls. Had a very nice and experienced pilot who really made me feel at ease. Yes it’s not cheap but I would definitely recommend doing this. Once in a lifetime experience.

Did 1 day of e-bikes, then another day of mountain biking. Incredible experience. Do not walk, rent bikes from these guys. Andre was so thorough and great person, to the point I thought he owned the place. Incredible experience that photos will not do justice of the experience.
I had a fantastic experience with Imboden over two days. The staff was incredibly helpful in giving me recommendations for amazing scenic tours as well as challenging trails off the beaten path. The full suspension mountain bike and ebikes were in great shape and had plenty of charge left at the end of a big ride. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone from beginner to advanced riders.
Absolute must if you’re in Lauterbrunnen. I wasn’t sure what to do for the day so I walked in just to check it out and Andre was incredibly helpful. He recommended where I should go and got a bike set up for me very quickly and efficiently. Staff super friendly, bikes are great, and the experience exploring the area was most definitely worth the price.
Best experience during our vacation in Switzerland! We asked for recommendations, and they gave us a great itinerary. Views and restaurants we would not have found on our own. We spent a whole day, and could have easily spent the whole week exploring via bike. The price is inclusive of a helmet and lock (just a deposit), and was a great value for an e-bike rental. The battery lasts for a long time, but we were gone most the day and when switching trails stopped back by for a battery exchange (finished with plenty left though). We did manage to get a flat tire on the trip, and they were out to where we were in ten minutes. Instead of fixing there, they just brought another bike so we could be on our way faster. Recommend an e-bike, as the inclines are no joke even with pedal assist. Slight price increase enabled us to see so much more then we would have otherwise. Highly recommend this company, and their great employees!
We had an awesome time with bike rentals! The owner recommended a lovely trail up a gondola and along a ridge, which was an experience we’ll never forget. 10/10 friendliness. Would 10000% recommend!
I recently signed up for the Eiger Bike Challenge on short notice from America. They were very helpful in renting me the best bike for the race. When I got there everyone was incredible. They helped me fit the bike and get it ready for 80km (52 miles) Everyone was polite and incredibly helpful and encouraging from the owner and his son, to Trina and “The Portuguese” Great service. Great prices. Great experience.
Do yourself a favor and explore Lauterbrunnen on a bike, it is so much more enjoyable that walking. This place rents both MTB hard tails and various types of ebike, as well as kids bikes. 2 hours on a MTB hardtail is 25 CHF, 4 hours is 35. You really don't need an ebike to explore the entire valley as it is all relatively flat, I was able to go all the way up the valley as far as I could go and back in about 1.5 hours (~10km). Views are incredible. You can stop and screw around in a glacial meltwater river. They let me leave my 20kg bag in the store while I was riding which was awesome because I couldn't find any other places to store it while I was in lauterbrunnen for the day. 10/10
Highly recommend renting bikes from Imboden!! Friendly staff, good prices and great advice for a day of riding in Lauterbrunnen region. Ps, the girls that helped us deserve a bonus for their great service !
