Archangelos

The streets of busy Archangelos are packed with stores selling olive oil, as well as ouzo bars and cafes. Nearby, seafood tavernas and family-friendly vacation apartments line the sand-and-pebble Stegna Beach, set on a sweeping bay. The Church of Archangel Michael has a fine bell tower and gilded interior, and the ruins of Archangelos Castle, built by the 15th-century Knights of St. John, stand on a rocky crag.

Quite and calm beach. 2 sunbeds+beach umbrella 15€. There are small stones so I would recommend aqua shoes. Around there are many bars, restaurants and supermarkets. There are some water sports. Overall, a nice beach shore, very calm and not so lively.
Nice beach with clear and calm water. There are sunbed options along the beach, with a lot of bars, small shops and restaurants along the beach. Two sunbeds and an umbrella was 15 euros. Sadly, there aren't so many free spots for bringing your own umbrella. There is free parking nearby.
It’s a sandy beach for lovers. Suitable for Children. Parking, shower, changing rooms are out of charge. You can hire sunbeds. Excellent view while going down to the bay, stop the car and take a look.
The beach is clean, well-maintained, and truly beautiful, with crystal-clear water. A set of two sunbeds with an umbrella can be rented for €15 per day. Conveniently, there are plenty of free water taps and changing rooms available along the beach. Many of the restaurants that rent sunbeds also offer food and drink service directly to your spot, making it easy to relax and enjoy the day.
You can't even walk on the beach, the amount of sunbeds is just ridiculous! Hundreds of sunbeds one next to the other all along the beach right down to the water, the sand full of cigarrete butts and cans, and only a very small area left for people to use their own parasols. It's a shame really, what should be a picturesque lovely bay, ideal for snorkelling, it's a huge sunbed chaos...I don't see how they are allowed to occupy public beaches like that, there is obviously no control. I do not recommend this beach at all, at least not in August!
Two sunbeds with one umbrella costs 15€. Sea is a bit colder than Lindos for example but it’s crystal clear. Lots of families but very calm area.
We came here on the recommendation of our hotel owner, Paris. We rented a car, did a quick tour of Lindos, and then spent the rest of the day swimming at Manolis Beach. Compared to the busy, music-filled, social-media-oriented beach clubs in Old Town, this place was incredibly relaxing and peaceful – I even dozed off for a while :) It’s the perfect spot for reading a book, taking a calm swim, and simply unwinding. Sunbeds in the back row were €10 for two people, while all the others (including the very front row) were €15. The gentleman taking care of the beach was also very kind and attentive. The beach is sandy, the water is lovely, and it’s also very suitable for families with children. Truly a hidden gem if you’re looking for a more laid-back experience.
Beautiful but dirty beach. Please do not litter, do not throw cigarette butts! Try to use as little plastic as possible!

Amazing experience. Also for people who dont hike much it is completely doable. Nikos is such a character, an amazing man with passion for his village and jungle. Most of the walk was in the shade, end point was an amazingly constructed chilling spot with lots of chairs and shade. Here Nikos cooked for us and we could chill and swim, we even saw a tiny turtle! A must do when in Rhodes!!
Nothing to see there, I arrived at the location but the picture posted was nothing close to the actual. But I love the quiet and peacefulness of the place it's a meeting point for bikers.
It was an amazing experience that me and my family will never forget. An amazing man and it was a beautiful unique route. I recommend this to everyone!!! We even saw turtles and got delicious food :)
The best day of the vacation! What a wonderful man is Nikos Papas, what a beautiful nature. We had so much fun!
(Translated by Google) It's a trip like no other and if you're in Rhodes you should definitely consider spending this relaxing day with Nikos far away from any civilization. (Translated by Google) Nikos Papas' jungle tour remains a pleasure to do. I have been on this tour 3 times in the past 20 years and it is always great fun! The route and surroundings are slightly different every time and a pleasure if you are a nature lover. Nikos tells a lot about the trees and plants you encounter and you can ask questions during the tour. Nikos is a bit crazy, so there is always some craziness during the trip. Definitely recommended! Nikos speaks Dutch, English, German and of course Greek.

Beautiful shop with an extensive product range. We chatted to the owners about its history and their methods for making the oils in particular. Beautiful honey, soaps and much more also available. Highly recommend visit!
Clear evidence that the displays of previous olive factory existence. The lady was friendly in her speech about the location etc. However, the products were incredibly expensive, and within a few minutes of us arriving, a coach load of people came through. This meant we were unable to talk to anyone about the olive oil, or to taste any. 22 euros for a standard olive oil, and 8 euros for a small bar of soap is not brilliant. Thankfully, there is Olives and Oregano a 4 minute drive away, with a panoramic sea view. Give it a try!
A small family run business where you can get various types of Olive oil, honey, wine and soaps. All are natural products as advise by the owner. Very friendly couple.
🌿 Wonderful experience! 🌿 The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. 🫶 We loved the tasting of olive oils, honey and soaps – all homemade and delicious. We bought some fantastic olive oil, natural soaps and honey to take home. Highly recommended if you visit Rhodes! 😊✨
Good selection of olive oil. We also bought some soap. The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful and has a lot of knowledge. She also packed everything in some plastic packing material so that is safe for traveling. You can also pay by card. The ambience is really nice with old machines and tractors.
Great quality products, but the prices are a bit over the top. 80e for 3 liters is a lot, but if you're not short on money - this is some very good stuff. The host speaks excellent English
The old family olive oil factory in Rhodes Island is a gem! They offer excellent homemade olive oil, delightful tastings, and the owners are incredibly friendly. The large parking area is a plus, and they have a wide selection of products. However, the prices are a bit steep. Overall, I would rate it 4.5 stars!
The experience there was very very nice. We es invited by the boss the night before, where we met him in a restaurant, and he was so friendly with us that we couldn’t refused the invitation. The place is very interesting, even for what you can taste, as for what you can buy, and the quality of all is just amazing, the oils we tasted were too much top! I recommend to spend some time there, you can learn a lot about olive oil world!

Beautiful Pottery! The owner is as much an artist as he is a salesman. We were there as part of a tour. The owner told the family's story. He is engaging and entertaining. The pottery is beautiful. Handmade and beautifully designed. I am sure I could have wandered the streets of Rhodes looking for a better price but why? Rhodes is a too beautiful to spend the day looking for cheap pottery. Come here and enjoy the artistry.
Went as part of a tour, and it was absolutely delightful! We got to make bowls and cups with the help of an expert, and we also were informed of the history of the family business and the rarity of authentic handmade pottery on the island due to plastic slowly replacing ceramics. The pieces were gorgeous, both modern and based on the old historical designs. I would absolutely recommend to anyone interested in the history of the island, and anyone who would like to meet kind and accommodating people! Attached are some of my favorite pieces.
Very cool stop! Generational family business hand making beautiful pottery. They were able to package our vase securely enough to make it back to the states in one piece! Would highly recommend!
This tour was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! We got to see beautiful art! We got to drink ouzo, eat cheese, bread and olives! We got to spin pottery and had 4 choices of difficulty one on one with a master potter! Even though there was a black out (due to a fire in the middle of the island) that didn't stop our tour or creativity. They brought in a pottery wheel from the earlier times and the creativity continued!!! We were the ONLY tour! There were 18 if us only!!! There are beautiful things to buy here and amazing creativity that you can watch happening right before your eyes! If I could give this tour 10 stars I absolutely would!!! The family is friendly, knowledgable, hospitable and generous. Thank you for such a wonderful day! I can't wait to get my piece!!! Oh yeah, they are shipping my piece for free!!!
Amazing place- such a kind and wonderful family owned ceramics studio. We had a very small tour from Virgin cruise, about 15 people and it was such a special, comfortable, easy tour. We were educated on the family, history and all things pottery. It was a memorable experience, and 5 hours well spent!
There are few things in my life that I can say match this experience. It was the most magical and phenomenal thing; to create. To create with your hands surrounded by gorgeous hand crafted art with breathtaking views. The warmth, kindness & patience of the master creators, the guide and the owner himself. I cannot begin to recommend Bonis Ceramics enough. Whether you come to Rhodes on excursion from a ship or here yourself from direct flight. Make your way to Bonis Ceramics. Meet the family that has been doing this for 3 generations now. Wander the art & fall in love with everything. You will leave friends of strangers, make and BUY art and know a new love & respect for Greece and it’s gifts ❤️
Came here on a booked excision with our Marella discovery 2 holiday. Had the best time, I made a bowl and my son made a vase. Very fascinating what a day. I would definitely recommend this. Also the tour guide was absolutely brilliant, she knew alot of this and kept us informed, hope this gets back to her. We also managed to get a look at the most amazing sight ever, not to far away, as the experience inside ran like clock work so organised xxx

There are stairs all the way down, and you will find a nice pebble beach with beautiful views. There is a lot of marine life to see under the water so make sure to bring a snorkel. The cave is accessible by land or trough the water (i would recommend swimming to the cave ) the rocks are super sharp and hot. Mind also the underwater rocks.
Extremely nice spot for snorkeling. Nice caves to explore, super clear waters and a unique spot. Definitely recommend! Just walk further down from the beach to reach there.
Nice spot for snorkelling. You can get there by foot from the beach or swim around the big cliff to get there. Be careful as once the waves get a little bigger you can get smashed on the rocks.
A beautiful place, definitely worth visiting! I recommend going early in the morning to avoid the crowds, as later in the afternoon, cruise ships stop here. You can get here either from Stegna beach by renting a boat or a pedal boat, or by taking a trail from the small harbor at the end of the village. There's also an option to park your car at the Grande Blue restaurant, from where steep stairs lead down to the beach. It's definitely worth bringing water shoes, there are sharp rocks.
The Grande Blue Hotel manages this place. The owner is very helpful. This place is a hidden paradise. I went to some of the popular beaches near Faliraki, and they're charging 30 to 50 euros just for an umbrella and a beach chair. Also, the water is polluted by the boats. Come here for the beauty of the cave and the crystal-clear sea. There's also a good restaurant on the cliff top.
Beautiful caves, you can swim through the 1st one. The 2nd one is a small cave with pebble beach inside. To reach the caves drive to restaurant and follow the path on the left side. Alternatively you can swim from the bay to the caves under a beautiful natural arch. Visibility inside the caves is great and the light contrasts are amazing.
Beautiful place, for photos preferably until noon. Steep, wild descent through the mountains.
Wonderful rocky beach with sunbeds available for small fee (€6 or so). We visited this place around 11 am in late April and initially it was empty. Perfect spot for snorkling with rock caves rather easily accessible.
