Great experience in spring. We missed some of the azaleas at their best. Rhododendrons stunning. Frogs were croaking in the pond. Excellent place to visit, Reminds me of the garden of Heligan in Cornwall.
A really nice pleasant set of gardens complete with a nursery to by some plants, well worth a visit. 👍🏻 Highlight was the Aquatic Garden which is stunning. Also the Bamboo area was fun. As far the rest even though there are plenty of plants and lovely walks although the labelling of many of the plants need replacing and the borders were in great need of weeding and maybe lacking staff. Given the amount of rhododendrons and magnolias I imagine this place is absolutely stunning in spring and early summer. I think 3/5 is too low maybe a 7/10 would be more an accurate score for me. I would definitely visit again in Spring if I was in the area.
Very pleasant well looked after gardens. Many frogs and dragon flies in the aquatic garden. Picnic here was lovely. The bamboo is amazing ..some huge and very think . Well worth a visit and a small shop to buy some good quality plants too😊
Lovely spot, so calm and relaxing. Beautiful water gardens and interesting paths to explore. Worth a visit if you like plants and nature.
Lovely gardens. Make sure and visit the water pond. Frogs at their best. Very vocal. (June 9th)
Lovely and gentle gardens - not too manicured within an inch of their lives - luckily no room in the car to start taking plants home with us from the nursery shop!
Very nice garden, countless Rhododendrons and many other known and unknown flowers. My favourite place is the aqua-garden with the lake and the sitting areas around. And don't miss the mineral showroom and the garden shop to buy some plants for your home.
Beautiful and relaxing visit. Many unusual plants and trees.

Beautiful absolute gem
(Translated by Google) Beautiful, interesting place for curious families interested in the meaning of sailors' lives. The morning shelter is a well-documented and illustrated museum; it is also a social work of the philanthropist Jacques de Thezac who created around ten of them on the Breton coast, thus offering tough sailors a quality place conducive to the elevation of the spirit and entertainment (reading, board games) References to the life of the sailor are well documented, including all the legends of mermaids and sunken cities. On the beams, nice little maxims reminded the sailors of the modesty of the human condition; to have. A short film on Breton legends completes this beautiful visit. Merci 😀l
(Translated by Google) A superb exhibition. Well-researched and very enjoyable to read (the texts are simple and informative without being heavy-handed). The presentation is pleasing; it truly conveys the education received by the cabin boys, the daily lives of the sailors, and all the values they passed on to us, for those who were fortunate enough to receive this educational cultural heritage. Thank you for this exhibition. (Original) Une exposition superbe.

(Translated by Google) At the beginning we wonder why this museum "the sailor's shelter" and then we discover who and why this shelter was created, what it was used for, and that is very interesting. In addition there was an exhibition on "The feminine sea". Upstairs, there are books and comics available. Note the friendly welcome and the purchase of a comic book that I had started to leaf through and which captivated me: An Ocean of Love.

Awesome day with the family, would have no issues returning in the future. Very friendly and courteous staff, easy to find and park. The course is fun, and the viewing area is great. We hired the double seat kart so our 9 year old could experience the thrill of motorsport, didn't pre-book just turned up and paid and played. Our daughter was hooked 🙂
Went to Bretagne karting with the family. Nice place, karts are looking good. English speaking staff. For the kids (-12) separate karts, are going a bit slower than karts for 12+. Also duo seats available.
Outstanding kart track. My 2 sons and I were here 2 years ago and came back. As good as ever. Young guy who worked here(didn't get his name) was very friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Definitely be back next we visit again from bonnie Scotland
I took my family to Bretagne Karting in Combrit and we all had an excellent time. The circuit is great and the kart are very very good. Definitely recommend it!
A good value karting venue, with an interesting track and well-kept karts. The watchtower-style upstairs bar and balcony are great for snapping photos. It can get very busy so it's best to ring in advance. It's popular with tourists from across Europe, but their spoken English isn't great, so it's best if you know some French.
Really friendly, really helpful staff. Great track, and karts were better than usually found at this sort of place. Sat on the balcony in the sun watching the karts going around drinking cold drinks in the sunshine.
Great course and well priced
Solid 10/10 Experience, I'll definitely be coming back here!

Beautiful spot fabulous wet fish shop bakery and restaurants overlooking the Port. Has a ferry crossing to Benidot
We stopped here to picnic on our way to Loire valley. It was a beautiful area. Lots of seaweed on the beach so we sat on the walls surrounding the beach. The views were stunning and there is a lovely meadow.
Beautiful, secluded bay looking over the Odet river to Bénodet. Fresh mussels in the restaurants and a small gallery to while away 30 minutes as you wait on the tiny ferry (Le Petit Bac). My kids loved skiddling for crabs and shrimp. Watch the kayakers go by and the large boats taking tourists to Îls de Glénan.
This is a beautiful little port with lovely restaurants and stunning views of the River, well worth a visit
Beautiful place took the short boat ride across from benodet only 2 euros each way lovely walk around the harbour and took the longish walk to the fort which was closed however it was a beautiful walk around the coastline with beautiful views across the bay would definitely recommend a visit
It's very pretty, has a couple of decent restaurants, café, museum and a pretty little church. Lovely spot to relax with a coffee, glass of wine or the like and just watch the world go by.
Very pretty location, lots of seats to relax, plus parking
Great little port. If you time your arrival when sailing in, you can always get a berth. Captainerie always helpful. Restaurants are packed July & August, you may need to reserve a table.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful little chapel of Sainte Marine in its setting on the port with a beautiful wooden vault, ornate beams and ex-votos. Place of peace and true prayer ending of seafarers. Very beautiful place to see and meditate. This small chapel dedicated to Sainte-Marine, dating from the 16th century, was enlarged in the 1960s. In the old part several decorative elements: sand pits carved with boats, south door framed with fish, sailor ex-votos testify to its familiar link with the world of fishermen. cf. Life of Saint Marine taken from the Roman martyrologist entry into the monastery disguised as a boy (✝ 750) It's a beautiful story that of Marine de Bythinie, nicknamed the Disguised, who is also called Saint Marino. His father loved him, but he loved God even more. He became religious. Soon he suffered from the absence of his daughter who was then only seventeen years old. He got the Abbot to bring his “boy” to the monastery. He went to get his daughter, cut her hair, dressed her as a boy and called her Marin. Years passed and the father died. "Marin" was, one day, accused of having seduced the daughter of a neighboring hotelier who was expecting a child, actually born from one night with a soldier. “Marin” took in the child but had to live outside the monastery. Five years later, "he" was reinstated, at the request of the brothers touched by compassion at the patience of "Brother Marin" exposed to the contempt of passers-by and at his spirit of prayer and penitence. The Abbot imposed on him to sweep the monastery alone and serve them. “Marin” accepted this austerity and carried it out with courage. It was beyond his strength and “he” succumbed after a few days of illness. It was at the time of the burial that the holiness of the "sister" who had lived like a brother in the monastery was discovered. A beautiful story which was passed down when his relics were transported from Constantinople to Venice then from Venice to Paris, where a church was built in his honor. Saint Marine or Marina, entering the monastery disguised as a boy. Marine born in Bithynia in the 8th century. Her father, a widower, entered the monastery, won the admiration of his brothers with his holy life and introduced his daughter, disguised as a boy, under the name of Marin. He was a perfect monk when a slander accused him of having seduced a young girl. She did not want to justify herself by revealing her sex, and patiently underwent a harsh penance. The truth was not known until the mortuary toilet in 750. The culprit was healed by a miracle from "Marin" after her death. The relics were transferred from Constantinople to Venice on July 17. A parish in Paris once had her as its patroness.
