We took the Springdale to Van Buren round trip. It was amazing. While you travel along the tracks you get a bit of interesting history. Some of it is sad. There are landmarks along the tracks you can't see from a highway or most likely a dirt road since the track tends to pass behind pasture lands and desolate woodlands. You have ample time to get lunch and a tram ride while in Van Buren. There is also time to shop downtown and around main street. There are multiple restaurants to choose from. The wood work inside the train is amazing and definitely not something you see alot of in today's modern day. The seating is very interesting you can decide which way you want to face coming and going.
The conductors were very knowledgeable on their history of the area. The trip was great except for the dumb people that asked for our seats due to their poor planning .. it's not our fault that you're dumb and can't plan your trip. Then they were so loud and spent no time with their kids. the conductor had to play games with the youngest. I shouldn't have had to give up my seats to loud mouthed people that didn't say thank you and were obnoxious. Next time plan your trips a little better.
It was a nice little day trip with my husband. We really enjoyed it. Unfortunately the leaves haven't really changed much in color. But still beautiful county. The morning ride to Van Buren was a little chilly so I recommend a small lap blanket. I highly recommend it. It was great get away for a couple. I think my grandkids would also really enjoy it.
The people that work for the Railroad were just amazing they were entertaining, friendly, they helped my friend get on and off the car because of her handicap issues. I enjoyed doing the train ride. People all alone the route seemed to know the train schedule and would be waiting just to wave at us. I was very impressed and can't wait to do it again.
The Arkansas & Missouri Railroad is a wonderful way to see beautiful Arkansas and step back in time. There are scenery and views that you will see only available from the train. We had a 3 hour stop in Van Buren, had lunch, and walked it's historic district. The trip was all day, 8 to 5 30. A great way to spend a rainy day!
This was my second year on these train rides and it was just as peaceful. The weather could have been more cooperative, but the view and experience was just as lovely. My only suggestion is, if you are going to ride the Domed car, make sure its not rainy and know that the windows upstairs are tinted :) makes it hard for better pictures! Can't wait to go again next fall!!
We had an amazing time on our train excursion. Our conductor was very informative and we learned a lot of history. Wished could remember his name but we were on vintage coach car 106. We are already planning another ride next year.
We enjoyed our trip on the way back much more than the trip into Van Buren. Our tickets were for the dome on the first leg. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a person that hates their job more than the woman who served us. There wasn’t an ounce of friendliness in her bones. On the way back, however, we moved to a different car to sit with some friends. Mike and Jeannie were phenomenal. What great personalities and love of people they have! It was an incredible return trip. The train itself is very nice. The windows were a bit dirty to take pictures, but the woodwork in the last car we were in was very nice. I learned that Mike had done the remodeling and it was gorgeous. And while the bathroom in 108 even had a sofa, (not sure why), the bathroom in 107 looked like it came from a tugboat. Not nice at all. The layover in Van Buren I think is a bit long. You can’t bring anything large onto the train, so you mainly have time for lunch, then a LOT of window shopping. Our layover was to be extended while they catered to another party, then got extended more due to an accident outside the train. So, it made for a long day. Also, we picked peak week and no foliage! So, I will book again for next year because overall we did enjoy the visits with other passengers and we loved Mike and Jannie. Also, we enjoyed lunch at the Pizza Grille. Very affordable and they offer a 10% discount if you have train tickets.

Came for $1 brat night and had a blast. The ballpark itself is very nice and clean. The attendants were helpful as well. The brats were okay but for $1 I'm not gonna complain. The Naturals won which was fun. And they did a good job of getting fans in the stands. The 1 recommendation I'd make is to get the crowd into the game a little more. It's always hard with Minor league teams for lots of reasons but it would have been fun to see the crowd get a bit more excited.
Wifey and I were invited to the game tonight. $1.00 brats (Tuesday only) were more like large hotdogs but still not bad. Parking is $6. Easy in ... Easy out! Sooooooo much for the kids to do! Extremely FAMILY ORIENTED. Watch your costs with ticket prices, but well worth it I think everyone needs to check this out at least once, just to see what you're missing. EXTREMELY clean park and rest rooms. WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING! Bigger crowds on Friday and Saturdays. Tuesday was a bit scant.
I love that we have a minor league in Springdale. They are always fun to watch. There's lots of activities for the whole family and a great free playground for the kids if they get bored....or you can pay for inflatables. So many fun promotions on different days make it enjoyable to come on any day of the week.
First time going to a semi professional ball game. I took my grandson along with the rest of the family for his sixth birthday. We had a very fun experience. The fireworks afterwards were spectacular. I think I could fall in love with being a baseball fan.
This is a great place for families, they are very interactive with kids, the staff are polite and helpful. In all it's a fun time for all. And the food's not half bad.
What a great ballpark. The stadium is very nice for a 2A team and tickets prices are great. My only critique is grossly overpriced concessions but that's the same as all sports venues.
We were there donating school supplies and the team behind the event went above and beyond. Making sure everyone was hydrated and had what they needed for the day. Glad we made it out!
Super nice ballpark in Springdale. Home of the Naturals. We have been to a few games and to their yearly free movie night. Always fun, lots of seating, payio areas, and shade. They have a nice gift shop when you need to get in the A/c. There's a play area for kids with inflatables and a train to ride. Weekend days they usually have some sort of special like dollar hotdogs and Saturday night there are fireworks. The only downside is the high prices of food, which I guess is normal. Hot dogs and pretzels are $5, fries and nachos $8+. We did try the bbq fries today, and they were delicious though (around $11). They also have a Dippin Dots and Lemonade stand. Every time we have been on a kids or family day, they have a free gift when we leave - today it was Oreos and baseball cards. They also have a clear bag only rule and you can't bring food or drinks except one sealed water bottle per person.

Fantastic. It’s very busy for dinner but lunch time is the best. Very few people there. Awesome decor. Great staff. The food and the wine are fantastic! If you like a crowd and a great time come on the evening. If you like the peace and quiet and great food come to lunch.
Visiting from out of town, June 2025 ; what a quaint winery! My husband & I both did flights along with charcuterie for one (perfect amount to share between 2 people). Out of the 5 wines I tried, my favorite was probably the White Zinfandel or Italian Red Wine. I also love supporting local artists so I bought a sunflower card, there’s a little shop in the winery. We sat outside, just a tip: if a fly lands in your wine, they will not replace a pour! There were signs stating it which we missed when we went to go ask so giving a heads up here. Overall nice little winery to check out!
This place blew me away. I did not have high expectations. The wine is truly incredible, and they have a great variety for all palates. They also offer frozen margarita-style drinks and beer. They have a great snack menu. They do have pizza, but it is more of a snack size. We ordered three pizzas, chips, and salsa, and a double charcuterie board for five of us. Just be sure to leave room for their grape ice cream. They often have live music, and during any events, they do not do their wine flights, but you can choose between half and full pours. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Cute little shop with local goods and plenty of seating inside and out.
I visited for the first time with a small group of friends. From the beginning we were all greeted by the employee at the front counter. We were offered samples to taste while we looked at the menus to order. The woman at the front counter was super friendly and helped each one of us find something we liked. After ordering food and wine we took a seat in their indoor seating area. It was cozy and made for a great atmosphere while we chatted. Overall, it was one of the best experiences we've had in a while. I will definitely be recommending to others, and will return.
We tried a flight of wine and we left it behind . Was barely tolerable. The chicken salad was good but definitely came from grocery store.
Awesome atmosphere, the food was amazing and actually really cheap, the live music was GREAT! I had a winearita and it was wonderful too. Awesome all around.
This was my second time here. The first time was three years ago with family. We went in the evening when they have music. It was a great time! This time it was just my wife and I. We purchased two flights and shared them. We ended up buying a few bottles. It was quiet, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. If you enjoy trying wine from small wineries, then you should definitely stop here.
First time here, it's a cute place with a huge room, outside spaces, and looked like other little places to hang out. The wines and charcuterie board were excellent. Even bought a bottle to take home. Only issue was the huge room was very loud. It wasn't busy either so we had to move away for the group that was loud. Maybe put something up to help with the acoustics of the room.

I visit local wineries wherever we travel to and this was hands down the best one yet. I was in awe of the beauty of this place from the min we pulled up. They thick cut their own meat and cheese for charcuterie boards and it was amazing. Little odd to not include the crackers but that’s okay. I wish you could pick whatever wines you’d like in the flights instead of having to buy a preselected flight, but we still found 2 we loved and purchased some bottles. I didn’t get to try the pizza but I heard it’s amazing. I will dreaming of this place until I can return. Kudos to the owners!
I just want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for one of the most beautiful wedding weekends! The bride and groom were just absolutely over the moon. I think we used every square inch of that property over the three days we were there! The production room for the sunset rehearsal and candlelight dinner for 80… the lodge and retreat for the bridal brunch and grooms breakfast… the chapel ruins for the ceremony… the stables, veranda and lawn for the garden party cocktail style reception… sunset photos in the vineyard… and even a small after party for the younger set… everything was perfect. Your team did a stellar job and everyone was so helpful! From the very first personal tour with Cheryl… to the two amazing lodges Drew provided on property for both the bride and groom’s large wedding party… to Sarah/Alexis/Kelsey and the thousands and thousands of details for all our events… everything was perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you so much! - K.C. Pummill 💕
We recently celebrated our daughter’s graduation at Sassafras Winery, and it was an absolute dream from start to finish. The event was held in the Production Room, which provided a stunning and unique atmosphere—elegant, rustic, and beautifully set up for a memorable celebration. Every detail exceeded our expectations. The staff was truly exceptional—friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the entire event. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to truly enjoy the day with our friends and family. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how perfect the venue was, and we couldn’t agree more. Sassafras Winery helped create memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re looking for a venue with charm, amazing service, and a beautiful setting, we highly recommend Sassafras Winery!
There are so many reasons I love Sassafras Winery. From the moment I arrive, you’re welcomed with beautiful scenery, a peaceful atmosphere, and warm hospitality. The setting is picturesque — perfect for relaxing with friends, enjoying a romantic afternoon, or simply unwinding with a glass in hand.

The wine selection is impressive, with something for every palate. Whether you enjoy dry reds, crisp whites, or something a little sweeter, Sassafras delivers quality and character in every pour. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always happy to share recommendations or the story behind each wine.

Live music and food (the gluten-free pizza is my personal favorite) add a festive touch to the experience, and the outdoor seating areas make it easy to settle in and stay a while. It’s clear a lot of heart and thought has gone into making Sassafras a welcoming destination.

Whether you're a local or just passing through, Sassafras Winery is absolutely worth a visit — and once you do, you’ll want to keep coming back.
Beautiful place, Great atmosphere and the tour guides were awesome. We had the Pizza and very good. Everything was Excellent!
If you are looking for the BEST wedding venue - this is it! I can't say enough about this beautiful place and the staff. Thank you Sassafras for perfect weekend!
LaWanda and I spent our 19th wedding anniversary at Sassafras. Drew and your staff were fantastic. We did the tour and wine tasting with Drew who is super knowledgeable about the whole wine making process. We spent the night in the airstream. Which was great. I can't recommend this place enough. Truly the best winery in the Southeast.
Beautiful winery with outdoor sitting, good pizza and tasty wines. Kids friendly. We had a group of 20+ people and we had a great time

Reserved the Shiloh Meeting Hall for a corporate event. Staff was wonderful! The hall can fit up to 85 people. Its a great little venue for a baby shower, bridal shower, small birthday party, corporate event, etc. Very spacious! Location is convenient as well. To reserve, need to contact the Shiloh Museum.
Very nice museum with wonderful exhibits and a very friendly staff. And it's FREE. Definitely worth a visit if in the springdale/Bentonville/Fayette area.
Absolutely enjoyable take your family kids all ages will find something fascinating learning about local history. Open exploring, physically touching, and encouraging interaction this is what my screen addicted parasites need to be more aware of the world we occupy. This was a quick fun museum trip wish we had more time to experience more. We will be back! Take your kids and grandkids. Bridge the age gap, connect with each other and the community from the past to present.
Nice little museum. Lots of local history here. It's free and the people are friendly. We play old time fiddle music here 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month.
This is a very nicely curated museum representing northwest Arkansas history, from early settlers to present day. The displays are engaging for people of all ages. There are a number of nicely kept pioneer buildings surrounding the museum, within a short walk. I suggest stopping by here for anyone wanting to understand the context of this community. At this time, hands-on kids activities and the gift shop are closed.
Loved walking around on the grounds. Such a wonderful piece of history. Great for a family outing. Great place to take family photos too. So relaxing and inviting. I would recommend this museum to any sightseeing group or anyone new to the area. Love the atmosphere.
This is a modern, well-lighted, comfortable, fun regional museum with a large Arkansas themed gift and book shop. Oh yes, and very informative with a friendly and helpful staff! There are artifacts and wall graphics and old photos and interactive exhibits galore, plus an old barn and several historical buildings outside. Old music plays on an antique radio and a must-see is the video and exhibit on Ed Stilley and his ingenious homemade guitars. His story is awesome and spiritually uplifting! It was a nice day trip for us and I think we'll go back.
It's a very nice place to learn about Ozark's history. I went there with one of my kids and he absolutely loved it. He took hundreds of pictures to share with his siblings and interacted with all the "please touch" opportunities we found there. It was a great experience.

We stopped in there yesterday afternoon. It was the first time in several years. We thought the beer selection and atmosphere were great.
The atmosphere is chill and the bartender was cute and friendly. She provided some info on the different beers on tap and let me sip a small sample of the raspberry infused one. However, my favorites were the S'mores and Toasted Coconut brews! They also have lots of fruity seltzers, canned beer, shirts and souvenirs for purchase. I believe you can also tour the brewery next door too!
Super nice staff. Really nice atmosphere. They closed all their other nwa locations so this is it. Happy hour from 3 - 6. $2 off base pricing. If you bike you will be on main road about 1.5 miles off of trail. Recommend!
When delivering here you no longer have to back off the street. Turn into the entrance to the south with the brick pillars and circle around. Staff is really nice but they don’t have a dock so unloading isn’t very quick.
Beer was delicious, prices are better than the other breweries around, and a nice atmosphere. Some good barrel aged beers as well. One of my favorite brews in the area.
This is a great family friendly spot to grab a beer in NWA. Every beer on the menu is approachable and their Scarlett Letter hard seltzers go down very easy. My kiddos love to get some complimentary snacks before taking on Dad in ping pong or darts. A must visit!
Turn left on Lowell rd at Tyson plant and go 400 feet on your left. At the first gate DO NOT go nose in. Back from the street. It’s small area and you can’t make turnaround with 53. Otherwise friendly staff. Fast unloading.
Love the brewery at Core. Great place to meet up with friends.
