The customer service was top notch and even Roscoe came around to say hi to people which was very nice. I’ve never had catfish before and this was my first time trying it and it wasn’t too bad. You get a good size of fish and I had a combo with it with some ribs and those were yummy. Mac n cheese was cold which was weird to me but my kid ate it up and enjoyed it. The cornbread was a bit dry, I love cornbread so I was disappointed. We got just their free water to drink, the water tasted great and not weird like other places with tap. Clean establishment!

They have the absolute best soul food outside of the south. I had the the fried pork chops with red beans & rice and collard greens. It tasted like I was in South Carolina. Walked over just to see. I was warmly greeted by two ladies. I told them I don't eat fish, so I was having trouble deciding what to get. They talked up the fish and how good it was. Well, they talked me into trying the AK seafood gumbo. And now I guess I eat fish. It was delicious. One of the waitresses even got me a strip of catfish to try since I told her I'd never eaten it on account of always feeling like fish was gross. The catfish was really tasty!
