We went cycling with a group and we stopped here for lunch. The fact that there’s different restaurants that can attend to different diets and tastes made the experience much more enjoyable. There’s a huge selection of beers to choose from. I’ve tried the pineapple cider and it was the best. For food they offer from pizza, BBQ, sushi and there’s also a Deli amongst other food selections. I was recommended to try the gluten free pizza and I’m glad I did it because it was one of the best GF pizza I ever had. I had the GF veggie pizza and hubby ordered a margarita. So refreshing to hear genuine enthusiasm from someone who enjoys what they do. The museum houses a lot of pictures and cool antique railroad paraphernalia. Worth a visit if you are in the area. There happened to be a 1:30pm picture viewing on the Florida railroad stations. Although it was a bonus to see the 1st couple of pictures, there was no lively off the cuff discussion but rather reading off of the printed words on the pictured slides which made it difficult to maintain attention. Not for the average person but nice for any true die hard railroad hobbyists. Very cool artifacts inside the building.

The Petite Déjeuner Français and the La Provençale were very good. The Quiche Lorraine was excellent, very creamy and not "eggy" tasting at all. This park has so much variety to offer. We visited primarily for a day hike and a backpacking picnic. The hiking trails take you for a stroll along pristine woodlands with towering oak trees, along with rich grasslands, wetlands, marshes and a beautiful lakeside with spectacular views of John’s Lake. Natural beauty abounds all around! The trails are relatively easy to navigate and are well maintained. I’m eager to return to launch a kayak very soon. A cart would be required since the launch site is far from the parking lot. Long range plans for this park include more recreational areas, a working and teaching farm and market. Upon walking in we were not greeted at all when walking in. We were walking around and the lady seemed annoyed that my daughter had crutches…. She kept huffing and puffing and staring at her. We were in Orlando for my daughter’s post op appointment from tumors being removed from her leg and she’s self conscious about it as it is. She didn’t need to be reminded and made to feel uncomfortable for having crutches (her first week out of her wheelchair)….We specifically went in there to check out the amazing Rowe casa products, because I was out of a few things and wanted to support a small business along with my favorite company. Unfortunately, they were mostly out of the products (a good problem to have because they are amazing) …. There is clearly a sign that says not to open the products, which we honored. We purchased 2 products that were on my list. The scar stick for my daughter’s scars and the period relief. However, when we got home and I went to open the scar stick for my daughter we noticed it had been previously opened and tampered with. Clearly someone rubbed their finger and their nail in it…. Disgusting!! Then when I opened the period roller (which I’ve purchased many times before and know what it should smell like), I noticed it had a musty smell. I looked at the best by date and it was expired from 2024. Now, granted I do know their products can be shelf stable past the best by date, but this one did not make the cut and I’ve never experienced this ordering directly from them. My complaint is they clearly don’t check the products before selling them. Now I am out the money and the products. I like over an hour and a half away and can’t just pop in to return or exchange them… I tried emailing them, and it kicked it back. I tried to said a message from their website, but nobody has gotten back to me, and when I tried to call nobody answered their phone. I’m just disappointed in the customer service and the quality of the products. I’m upset that I am now without out both products and have to spend more money to order them again. :( I had high hopes for this store. Although adorable, I will not be back if they can’t make it right.

For appetizers we had the Burrata and the Bone Marrow. Both were very good but I preferred the Bone Marrow. For entrees we both got the short rib which came with mashed potatoes and cauliflower.
