So tonight we went to Bruno's, we stopped in a month ago to ask if they could accommodate a group of 20, they said sure. Our guy went in a couple of days before to confirm our time of arrival and they said no problem. We arrived at that time and waited for 10 minutes because the tables were not ready (5 tables). They gave us one server, they took our drink order and more than 20 minutes later we started getting our drinks. Some of us had to get our own waters off of the server tray because they left it on a table. They then took our order using a hand held toast POS, which means the orders would have been sent to the kitchen right after she went to the next table. The server came around to refill drinks once. The table I was at got our pizza LAST, which was 2 hours after we were seated! During that time many tables were sat on the patio and 5 in the area we were in, and countless phone orders were picked up. 3 of those tables we could see got their drinks and food an hour or more before we did. Those who ordered appetizers got their food first, pizzas were more than an hour after they were ordered. So how do we not get our food in the order it was placed? Many other tables got their food/pizza long before we did. Was it the server's fault? Was it the kitchen's fault? Or was it the manager's fault for now paying attention. How does a restaurant survive by not focusing on flipping tables? Why did we also have a 20% gratuity added...why didn't the manager come over and apologize and comp food that didn't come out in a timely manner. The owner of Bruno's, need to watch the video feed from 6:15 till 8:30 and look at how much food went out of the kitchen, while we didn't all get to eat together. And our table got what we ordered at about 8pm and our table ordered as the second table of 5 (they didn't push all the tables together, we sat at 5 tables close together) and we got our food last? How does that work? The server said 2 hour's later when asked that the "kitchen was slammed"... It seemed like a lot of people got their food long before we did. I really dislike writing this review, but people need to know, the owner needs to know! If this happened at the place I work at, someone would get retrained, customers would have been given a big discount for the food taking so long to get to the table, and the manager's feet would have been in serious trouble. But the manager was likely not there, we didn't see them at all. We only saw 5 servers, none helped the server who was taking care of our 5 tables. And that server was given one of those tables that got their food before us and left before us, while they arrived 30 minutes after us. Fix your problems, the pizza was great when it finally arrived.
