Apparently they often pre-cook the shrimp and so it was served cold and it was very dense. They are still warm when they are served and they are fresh and tasty and more tender. Once we've brought it through the attention of our server, they offered to remake one or both of our sushi rolls if we were willing to wait for the fresh fried shrimp. We had them remake one roll and it was tremendous. Willow, our server, was very friendly very kind very helpful and apologetic. She is a great server. We are thankful for the responsiveness of the staff and would be happy to return at another time.

Cane’s sauce is a mayo based concoction that seems more like a salad dressing. It’s a Southern thing that’s great with their chicken and could be a new flavor for many on the island. My friend had sweet tea and remarked that it wasn’t overly sweet, in a good way. Fries were the only thing that would stop a 5 star rating(4-4.5) but the service bumps them up.
