Serengeti Park Hodenhagen absolutely exceeded our expectations! We had an amazing time exploring the self drive safari. It's incredibly well organized and gives you a rare chance to see exotic animals up close from the comfort of your own car. From giraffes walking past our windows to rhinos grazing nearby, the whole experience felt like a mini African adventure right in Germany. What impressed us the most was how smoothly everything ran. Entry was well coordinated, the drive-through routes were clearly marked, and there were friendly staff around to guide and assist if needed. The animals appeared healthy and well cared for, with plenty of space to roam. But the fun doesn’t stop there. The amusement park section was a fantastic surprise. There’s a great mix of rides and attractions for both kids and adults. The park is clean, spacious, and offers a lot of variety to fill the entire day. Overall, it’s 100% worth the visit, especially for families or anyone looking to do something unique over the weekend. We left with so many great memories and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

We went for the Halloween special and we really enjoyed it. It wasn't too busy, and not too scary. We were able to enjoy all the rides without a wait on most occasions. Unfortunately, both rollercoasters were not operating, I dont know if this is normal for the winter months. We stayed in a safari comfort lodge, which was clean and perfect for the three of us. It was quite small, but we were only in there to sleep. The accommodation is immediately next to the park and restaurant. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was included in our package. We didn't have time to experience the safari park this visit. We will definitely be returning next year.

An interesting park with a lot of different animals. My recommendation is to go through the park in your own car instead of the bus, as it is really safe and better for seeing the animals. Touring by car takes about 2–3 hours, after which you can visit the amusement park within the same area and spend another 3–4 hours having fun—rides, winning teddy bears by throwing into baskets, food available around. There is also a place where you can feed and pet goats, sheep, and llamas, which is truly wonderful for animal lovers. Overall, a very nice experience and recommended.

It is a really great place for a whole day family trip! The safari part is incredible, we were on our own car and haven't regretted it. You can see animals really close, they have plenty of space and look really healthy. And we loved the amusement park! Surprisingly there were almost no ques, we didn't have to wait more that 5 mins for a ride. Top place, highly recommend!

One of the best Safari park in northern Europe ! Very large, organised, clean and must visit. The rides are also a bonus and included, if you want to cover both I recommend to start early spend 09.30 to 12.30 at the safari, have lunch and spend rest of the day at the rides. The rides are for all age groups and parking facility is quite good, so can easily walk around. There is also an indoor play area for younger kids. Overall can easily spend a full day with family having fun and good memories !

We had booked the Tongasoa lodges. What they don't tell you is there is a hard deadline for check in. The reception closes at 7pm and they were available until 8pm for late check in. The keys and the room no. information are all provided only at the reception, if you come late, we aren't sure where you will need to spend the night. We were very lucky to have caught them just when they were locking up and they were kind enough to help us with our checkins after their work hours. Apart from that everything else was really nice. They rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfortable and all amenities were functional. The breakfast the next day at Manyara restaurant was just fine. If you are a vegetarian, you will be able to get sandwich and cereals and for vegan probably just fruits and salad vegetables. Safari the next day was really fun, we went with our own cars. The animals were very close and approached the cars. I thought I read you shouldn't feed the animals, but some of the cars in front of us were feeding apples, bananas and carrots and nobody stopped them. The amusement park was also fun, it came with the safari tickets, we didn't need to pay extra.

Inevitably a very thought provoking experience. A very detailed museum with photos, video artefacts etc. Outside it was not fully clear where to go, take the free map. Nice to see Anne Frank's memorial, her story has moved me for over 50 years

Free to enter and walk around, the scale of the area is massive and you can easily spend 2-3 hours walking around. You don't truly understand the scale of the camp until you walk the grounds. Although none of the original building stand there are plenty of maps explaining certain areas dotted around the grounds. The POW cemetery is separate from the camp, roughly a 5 min walk and is now connected via a sand path that crosses the training area. All signs have an English translation and the exhibits in the museum also have English translations. There is a cafe and library on site, but I didn't visit.

We did a guided tour. She was amazing and explained everything really well. Enjoyed the parts we could see. She said that the chapel won’t be accessible starting on December until March due to reparations so take into consideration.

Visited Celle Castle in February and absolutely loved it. I didn’t go inside, but just walking around felt like stepping into a fairy tale. A charming stop if you’re in Celle!

An amazing experience I would highly recommend! It's rare to get to walk in the shoes and take the same mine train the miners took back in the day, deep into the depths of this mine and UNESCO World Heritage site. The rest of the museum and exhibitions are also interesting but the mine rail tour is a must!

Very impressive! It was for me the first time to visit a mine like this, it feels you go back in time! The groups weren't that big, so you could see a lot of the mine. It was quite cold, so wear warm clothes. The train underground was an amazing experience!

Very deceiving for such an emblematic place. It is still a quite impressive place full of history which is nice to see. I expected more... First of all, there is no tour in English. For a UNESCO world heritage site, you will expect at least one tour in English. For the museum part, it is interesting but everything is disorganised and it is not appealing. Some parts are only in German. I hope one day, this place would be made more accessible for non-german speakers.

I recently visited the Rammelsberg Ore Mines with my husband and had an incredible experience. We took the guided tour in English, called the Röder Stollen, led by Mr. Christian Etzrodt. He was super friendly and humorous, making the entire journey interesting and engaging. I really appreciate him going out of the way to add fun to the tour. It was an amazing and adventurous experience, and I highly recommend his tour. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful (she helped us choose the appropriate tour), as was the lovely lady at the shop. Overall, it was a fantastic visit! We really enjoyed the experience. Oh, yes! Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes. You would need to walk a lot and climb steep steps. Would not recommend this tour to people with claustrophobia, nyctophobia, panic disorder, breathing issues, pregnancy, etc. It is colder and dark and might be a bit slippery. P.S. I personally give bonus points for the "Stimmungsring" at the shop, haha

Although I never toured the inside of the palace. I thoughly enjoyed the architecture and green space surrounding the site. Some nice views of Goslar behind the palace. Great place to visit.

In Germany, one of the best place to trekking especially in winter. I have been to Harz twice. I witness both summer and winter. I like winter more than summer. That view , snow fall, trees, everything was amazing to see... Total 18 km trek. Take some juice , fruits and food. You will definitely need it. I would recommend you guys to go and enjoy the beautiful place. I liked it.

Beautiful nature park with easy mountain peaks, stunning views and scenery. Expect some gravel paths, a few bicycle paths and lots of elephant paths. Make sure to check out the highest peaks around and go for the boulders at the end to fully enjoy the highlights this area has to offer. You're able to fly your drone here as well. Few camp grounds around, so you're able to plan your multiple day hiking trip around those.

We stayed in Harz for a good few days with friends. The amount of beautiful trails, viewpoints, ... Is incredible. In every season stunning. I suggest winter and the peak of autumn. Wake up early and enjoy. Brocken is amazing at sunset! But dont forget to take the train back on time.

I come here for 50 years now and keep coming back. It is a mesmerising area that really calms you down. There is so much to see and do, from nature and culture to outdoor activities. For me the place to go if I need a break.

A long overdue piece , I visited this absolutely beautiful cathedral in April, it was a cloudy morning and I was incidentally in time for Ms.Monika's famed church tour (it was around 11 am ) , and boy was i was amazed. She breathed and lived the cathedral's rich history, dark times and the subsequent restoration. Her impeccable attention to detail and careful explanation bought the cathedral to life. A proficient bi -lingual (German and English) , she did an outstanding job to weave the narrative of the journey of the cathedral from past to present. The tour itself is about an hour and free , the cathedral has stood the test of time and is a testament to faith, history and changing times of the surrounding regions. The architecture (gothic- renaissance) is a splendid remainder of the rich history and cultural heritage of the city itself. The staff and local agencies involved are doing a wonderful job of preserving this splendid piece of architecture, if Braunschweig is not on your radar, give it a try, gems like these won't dissapoint you.

Stunning City Palace with a remarkable history. The old home of the Dukes of Braunschweig, the last of whom abdicated in 1918, the Schloss was destroyed twice, first by fire and then of course in the bombing raids of the Second World War. Against massive protests it was demolished in the 1960s and finally rebuilt in the 2000s to cover a shopping mall. You can easily spot the parts that came from the original Schloss. The architecture is beautiful and the site is in the centre of the city so absolutely a must visit when in Braunschweig. There’s a small museum in the left hand wing of the palace that is free, as well as the lifts to see the Quadriga at the very top that’s also free for the time being. The entrance is just to the right of the main entrance.

In Brunswick's schlossplatz stands the stunning building known as Brunswick Palace. When I passed by this majestic monument on the route to Gaussberg Park, I must admit that it was awe-inspiring. Only when I travel to the UK do I see monuments like this. According to what I was told, this palace was constructed sometime in the 18th century and underwent a number of renovations over its existence. I have heard that it once served as a residence for the Brunswick dukes in the 18th century. Wonderful to pass past this building.

I have to admit I didn’t make it all the way to the top. After being packed in the back of an open train car for an hour, I got off and took a train back down the mountain. The 96 euro cost for two adults is an insane price to pay for no seat assignment. The regional trains are very nice, affordable, not packed, and air conditioned. The nostalgia of steam isn’t worth the hassle.

Beautiful castle with spectacular views of Wernigerode and Harz mountains. Very busy during my visit & somewhat disorganized. Could only find paid parking nearby with additional expense for a shuttle bus. However, there are several shuttle bus companies and you can't tell which is which until the driver kicks you off. But, still a nice place to visit.

It adds a touch of effort, a dash of cardio, and a full dose of “I earned this view!” Once you reach the top, all the huffing and puffing pays off. The castle is beautiful, the views are spectacular, and the photo ops are endless. Whether you're into history, architecture, or just soaking in amazing scenery — this place has it all. Pro tip: Go early or late in the day to avoid crowds and heat. Bring water, good shoes, and a bit of adventurous spirit!

Worth the walk uphill. Go early to beat the crowds. Enjoy a beer at the cafe inside. It’s a lot quieter than the one outside. On the walk down I took a detour on some of the paths. Very green and beautiful woods.

The whole walk to the castle is super nice with the old streets and there is a fantastic view over the city from the castle garden.

Not one of the most famous and therefore not very crowded. If you are in Leipzig or Dresden, it's good for a day trip. I'd especially recommend the guided tour to the upper floors of the tower.

Gorgeous. A fun fact: The Magdeburger Dom is the oldest gothic cathedral in all of Germany!!! The people here are incredibly kind. And the outside is just as beautiful as the inside. I highly recommend taking some time to walk in a circle around the entire complex; you will thank me later!!! :)

The place is really good. There are two nearby houses on which vines and Ivy has grown which looks really amazing. The Elbe river is just 100 meter's from this Cathedral. One can walk along the bank of the Elbe river too. There are many nearby good restaurants too and the tram station is near too. One can reach the Cathedral within 10 minutes from the nearest tram station.

Huge. Dark. Impressive. Beautiful. A must-see when visiting Magdeburg. The high towers are a landmark that can be seen from far away already. Go inside and get lost beneath the perfectly crafted gothic construction which reaches high up into the sky. If you get lucky you might be hearing the organist doing some rehearsals.

A truly unique architectural gem in Magdeburg, designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser and completed in 2005, shortly after his death. The building breaks away from conventional architecture with its irregular forms and rooftop gardens. While visually striking, the interior spaces—especially the shops and hotel—could benefit from more curated content that reflects Hundertwasser’s philosophy. In many ways, it feels like a cousin to Gaudí’s works in Barcelona, though on a much smaller and more commercial scale.

It’s a very special building, several shops, cofe shop on the first floor. If you want to go to the top, have to buy ticket at information place and people bring you inside every hour. We don’t have time this trip, but only the ground floor, very interesting shops a lot!

Amazing building that despite its weirdness fits amazingly well in to the historic buildings nearby. A coincidence seeing it as we more or less stumbled across it while stopping in Magdeburg for lunch. It is well worth a detour if you're not to far away.

We took the tour (which was almost hourly during the weekend) which was surprisingly interesting. We learned a lot of cool and interesting facts about Hundertwasser and got to explore the different rooftop areas of the building. The Japanese restaurant on the ground floor is also worth a stop :)

The houses look great from the outside, but are a disappointment inside. A little film made when one of the houses was first built, showing all the modern devices in the home showed what the houses could look like inside. Is money the prob lem, or do the foundation believe. It's better to show empty rooms?

I would fully recommend doing a tour, you learn so much more than you would going around on your own and you are still free to wonder around yourself afterwards. It’s a super inspiring and story rich place to visit. Would recommend to anyone even remotely interested in design and modernism.

The master house has been rebuilt by the berlin based studio Bruno Fioretti Marques in a contemporary way: volume and windows has been restored with new materials like light concrete and milky glass. Inside you will find a permanent installation of Olaf Nicolai with shades of white in the wall and temporary pieces of other artists. You can also see small models of the houses.

Amazing! This place was a world leader and is symbollic and of the modern movement in architecture and design in Europe in the 1900s. Celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. It has been restored, true to the original design after being closed by the racist regime of the 1930s. Well worth the visit for architects and designers.

Must-see for those interested in modernism and architecture as a whole. You can roam a part of the building freely. However, all classrooms and the entire student flats block are sadly inaccessible for visitors (except if you book a night in a flat!). The shop has a great selection of souvenirs. The workers were warm and friendly.

The ticket for Bauhaus+Museum+Master's Houses is 27€ and it's completely worth it. The place is amazing, and the temporary exhibitions are always really good. Will visit again!

This is a simply fabulous historic building. Once the home of the revolutionary Bauhaus School and designed by Walter Gropius it stands as a memorial to an innovative school that only survived from 1919-1933 but had a huge impact on architecture and design across the whole world.

This place, showcasing the architecture and arts of legends, can inspire you for years. Revisiting this historical place that changed the world evokes an amazing feeling.

Mmmmm I love the bahhaus movement and the art from that time, but the institute itself doesnt do much for me. The exhibitions inside are about the history of the buildin; its beginnings, its time during nazi rule, its reconstruction, and its preservation. Another one focused on the design of one of the bauhaus styled lights. Both were interesting but I was hoping to simply see more bauhaus art (go to the museum for that). The structure itself, while iconic, didnt do much for me either. I think when it was built, it would have been revolutionary. I did love seeing the bauhaus styled lamps irl though :)

A beautiful church, and the resting place of Martin Luther. Very interesting to see the doors where Luther nailed the 95 theses and set the reformation in motion.

What a cool piece of history. It was good to walk and see where Protestant history was made. It was also a surprise to us at how cool the town is! You can definitely spend the day going into shops and eating at restaurants.

Located at the end of the main street of the historical area of Wittenberg, this place is of extreme value not only because at one of his doors Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis, but also because his grave is inside the temple, at the back, under the organ pipes. The entrance is free. Take your time to admire every single detail of this treasure building in terms of architecture. Highly recommend. Ask for a guided tour, it will broaden your experience! Also, you can go up in the tower for 3 €, where you will have great views of the city.

This church is famous as the place where Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses in 1517, sparking the Protestant Reformation. Luther's translation of the Bible into German in Wittenberg strengthened standard German and influenced German literacy and culture. This church became a symbol of resistance against the authority of the Roman Catholic Church and received support from German princes, strengthening Lutheranism as a political force.

Absolutely fascinating. Excellent museum to be found attached to the church, with some of the best audio visual demonstrations I have seen, by that I mean they are easy to use and in several different languages and capable of being tailored to suit the user (eg magnified if you don't have your glasses :-) ). The Tower is well worth the climb with magnificent views over the city and surrounding countryside. Martin Luther's grave is in this church and this is the church he nailed his famous theses to.

Among the Martin Luther and Reformation related art and artifacts is this memorial to those local soldiers killed in the First World War. Apart from the language no different to those in a thousand British churches. Reminds us that it's ordinary citizens who always do the dying in a war.

You need to come in advance to get some good seats while big holidays like Christmas.

The main Lutherhaus is currently temporarily closed but we could visit the absorbing exhibition Literally Luther (Buchstäblich Luther). It gave lots of insight into Luther the person rather than as church reformer. The attached photos are from the exhibition as seen in May 2025.

Unfortunately the house-part was closed because of renovation!!:((( ( In Germany they renovate a lot of things in the high season!!!!) But there was another exhibition in the other part of the ex-monastery. The building is amazing and the exhibition is very interesting. I got a lot of new information about the group who worked with Luther they made me imagine how they translated the Bible. I can recommend if you are in Wittenberg!

A very important stop while visit Wittenberg! Located at the beginning of the main street of the historical area, Lutherhaus will transport you in time to experience what people at that time use in their daily lives. Also, this museum has a largr collection of Luther's writings and pictures. The house also tries to portray and explain the living conditions of that period. The house, plus Luther's sayings as well as the whole collection of objects will give you a better understanding of the life of one of the important figures of the reformation. Highly recommend. Closed for Reno but one can still walk into the courtyard and they've put up a comical history of Martin Luther's marriage.

Really informative museum of Luther’s life and religious legacy. You can find the house after walking through this large stone gate - picture added. The museum itself chronologically outlines major milestones in Luther’s “career”, you could say. It is astounding to see what one person’s courage could do for an entire religion.

My review is more for the help I received at the store. I visited yesterday and my bad that I forgot to ask his name but the salesman there helped me so so much! He was very patient, kind and helpful. He actively listened to my requirements and went to the storage to check if there are any last sizes available which are not even displayed in the store. Have been there many times. Most recently, today! 😊 As everyone says, this is a bad choice if you’re creeped out by nudity. Even on textile days, you’re gonna have to face that. Otherwise, I have to say the place changes character quite a lot depending on when you go. On this Monday evening, it was very chill. The warm pool with the swim-up bar is to die for. Worth the trek just for that! It’s also a solid 1/2 train ride from Berlin, then a 15 minute walk. Very doable, but just so you know!

Pretty nice overall though a bit too crowded for my taste. Probably best to avoid Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends. Wide range of saunas but nothing too special. The food is hit or miss. The pasta dishes are terrible but the pizza was tasty and not too expensive.

Awesome in winter. First suggestions: - Needs more infusion sessions. (At least 2 saunas at the same time. Especially in winter.) Pros: - Huge variety and huge pools are really awesome. - Really big facility. - Safe environment.

I am a big fan of FKK culture and often swim naked at Lakes. I love the architecture, the water temperatures, the heavenly salt water pool outside at this place. However a recent visit was very unpleasant. Old and extremely cantankerous people patrol the pool and verbally assault anyone wearing a swim suit. My partner and son were uncomfortable being naked in the swimming pool and were therefore repeatedly harassed. The staff are mostly absent and horrible angry elderly grouches are allowed to assert ownership of this otherwise lovely place

The staff was super polite, the pools had joyful temperatures and sufficient sun loungers available. The restaurant offers a very good selection of light meals and a rich salad bar. We're looking forward to visiting the Wohlfühlterme again soon.

We visited this place today. We travelled quite a long way to get here. It's a really great place to relax, no reason to regret it. We did not encounter any situations where the issue of nudity was not respected by other visitors. On Monday, we expected less traffic, but we were quite surprised. There were really a lot of people already at 10 a.m. I hope that rules here will be maintained and won't change. We'll definitely be back.

I love this place and visit it every time I am back Home in Berlin for a visit. My Buddies and I just enjoy it very much. In the Summer you can relax outside and work on your Tan. The Food is very good and there are a lot of options. The Facilities are very clean and well Maintained. I get a Massage every time and it rounds out the experience for me. It's certainly a great way relax and forget what is going on. Especially in the current situation. I am glad that they where able to weather the Storm and survive. I love all the different Saunas and Steam Rooms. There is something to do for everybody. I love relaxing in the Pool by the Bar and enjoy a nice Beer with my friends. It's such a cool feature. I am not sure why people complain about this place being FKK/ You should perhaps do some research before going. There are days where you can go and be dressed. I guess being German it's not a big deal for me at. I am going to be back in Berlin in August for a few month and will for sure visit it several times while there. I signed up for the guided tour of the stadium. The staff were very welcoming and the guide was talking in both English and German. The tour was a very informative one and the best one I have had for a stadium so far. Not only were we told interesting facts about the stadium, but we were also told about the history behind it. The stadium is far away from the city centre, although a long journey, you can reach without any issues by public trains. Highly recommended!

We had a great visit here, it wasn't crowded at all, so we could take our time exploring. The stadium is massive, clean, and well-kept. We barely saw any staff that day, probably because nothing was happening. The weather was awesome too, with sunshine in the stadium. We're short on time, so we couldn't see everything.

What an incredible place to watch an NFL game. It's not the best stadium for tech or anything with no TVs around minus the three jumbotrons in the stadium. But... It doesn't matter. It's a stunning piece of history and it's wild to think Jesse Owens won 4 gold medals in the same stadium. Really amazing stadium!

I went with the guided tour. The guide was a very sympathetic British man. He was very good, knew everything about the club and the stadium. The stadium itself is extraordinary, very very big and just amazing. I would recommend every football fan to visit this place!

Attended the Colts vs Falcons in Berlin. Great game, it went into overtime. Great stadium with great view and food. I love the NFL representation of both countries.

Google Maps took us in via an office complex and police headquarters (the old SS training camp, I believe). It's got a lot of information in the different rooms with a lot of reading, although plenty of different languages are catered for. A lot of the main areas to visit have been restored or rebuilt and it's hard to gauge the conditions of the time. It does seem to be a work in progress to restore everything and add extra sections. Some of the interactive exhibits didn't seem to work which would be troublesome for those who needed audio guidance. The computers we were using at one point just all turned off. I would recommend it but it needs a full day and plenty of energy for all of the walking and some stamina for the reading. I think they offer guided tours but I'm not certain.

This is an amazing place and a must see. Its part of our world's history. The Nazis were so cruel. I was so upset when I visited today at the hurt and pain the Jews suffered in the concentration camps. May they all rest in peace now.

Ok visit, but not that many original details still there which makes it more difficult to grasp the extent of the horror, especially for our teens. I don't want to say it's necessary to have the horrific details around, but to me it does bring a tangible message across for next generations, to make sure it never happens again.

Visited on a Sunday and was fairly quiet. The views are stunning, it was one of the highlights of Berlin. So many detailed rooms to look at and explore. We spent a few hours here.

Charlottenburg Palace was one of the most beautiful places that I visited in Berlin. The garden area behind the palace is absolutely breathtaking, the grounds are immaculate. I did tours of both wings of the castle which are rich with history, art and other items that are centuries old. The woman at the entrance to get tickets was extremely rude and unhelpful, however every other staff member inside was lovely and one even helped with the lockers for storing my bag since I didn’t have any change for them.

Beautiful grand house and gardens. The displays of silver, the paintings and the ball rooms were spectacular. It’s easy to get to from the S Bahn. Our children were not as interested in some of the exhibits, so bear this in mind. However, the links between Prussia and the New Germany are fascinating. You may wish to visit the Cafe Kudika across the road for a really first class coffee stop rather than the in house cafe.

What an incredible structure and grounds. Even with the rocks in place of the original flower garden it's still beautiful and the reconstruction after WW2 is fantastic. It's certainly with your time if you're in the area and one to divert and hr or even more out of your way to see first hand as the photos simply do not do it justice.

An absolutely beautiful palace and a place not to be missed while in Berlin. We were there on a Friday just after opening at 10am and it was great to walk through and take photographs and soak up the aesthetics of this beautiful palace without the grounds. The excesses and wealth that went into a palace like this is quite remarkable. The grounds are just as beautiful and its free to walk about them without having to enter the palace, but you will regret not going inside. €12 entry fee for adults is well worth it or if you had more time than us, you could buy a pass for €19 which includes the new wing. Highly recommended.

Oh my world. It was stunning especially the new wing. Do not miss that golden and green room at the new wing. It wasn't crowded when we visited so we had the whole place just for us, but your toddler may not enjoy it 😁

Thought this was worth the price of admission. With the standard ticket you also get the entrance to the garden and the other wing in the back of the palace. It took me a decent time to get around and see everything and I felt like I could have spent more time there but was getting hungry. Overall worth a visit if you are in Berlin! I went on a weekday first thing in the morning and it wasn’t terribly crowded, although there was a line of people waiting for it to open.

Visited September 2025. A beautiful old Church in the heart city centre. There is a lot of history with this building being bombed during WWII and the broken spire. This historical building is in the middle of an upscale neighborhood and stands out. It is right near the zoological garden train stops, so if you are in the area, make sure to stop by and see it.

Even though this church is a bombed out ruin (from WWII) it still maintains a measure of beauty. Definitely worth a stop when you find yourself in the area. Short walk to plenty of restaurants and shopping areas of Berlin and also not too far from the zoo.

We didn't have time to walk along Kirfurstendamm but did want to see the leftovers of this church. Dedicated in 1895 it was heavily damaged in WWll, the tower is all that's left. So as not to spoil your visit I will only include a couple of interior photos. The sad parts are the atrocious new church hall and bell tower built either side. Free entry, you will only need 20-30 minutes for this. For coffee and cake go to Einstein Kaffee near the main station.

It’s amazing you should visit them! It’s 2 different places. The new church is in front of the old one. The new one has live music which offers a unique experience! The entrance is free for both.

From a place of worship and prayer, it is now a place of remembrance and contemplation. The temple stands there, half-ruined but imposing, reminding us on the one hand of the devastating consequences of war, but on the other hand of the power of humanity. The new temple built opposite is also impressive!

We visited the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in September 2025. From the outside it looked impressive even more so when you consider it was bombed during the Second World War. Once inside the ceiling is so a joy to behold. The church was a bit crowded for our visit but I found my location to admire the ceiling. Glad we visited this historic place.

Very interesting, however not every animal was actually there to see. Some species of monkeys were not present. But monkeys are monkeys I guess. The cutest were the Pandas. The coolest was walking inside the cage where they kept some vultures and Owls. The nearly extinct sumatra tiger is the most interesting for me because fewer than 400 of them remain. I recommend you buy the tickets online on their website!

Berlin Zoo is a great day activity for families with kids. The place is beautiful, stroller friendly, with in door and outdoor displays. The stars of the show were the Pandas and the Penguin enclosure. Our toddlers also enjoyed watching the seals play in the waters.

I had an amazing time visiting the Berlin Zoo. It’s one of the most impressive and well-organized zoos I’ve ever been to. The variety of animals is outstanding — from giant pandas and big cats to exotic birds and unique species you rarely see elsewhere. Each enclosure is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed to resemble the animals’ natural habitats. The zoo is also beautifully landscaped, making it a pleasure to walk around. There are plenty of shaded paths, resting areas, and great spots for families with children. The staff are friendly and always ready to share interesting facts about the animals. Overall, the Berlin Zoo offers a wonderful experience for visitors of all ages. It’s educational, entertaining, and truly memorable. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Berlin!

This is the best zoo I’ve seen so far. Exploring it takes at least 4–5 hours. And if you’re planning to visit the aquarium as well, it will take almost a full day. Make sure not to leave without seeing the pandas.

My spouse and I recently visited Berlin Zoo, and while we really enjoyed seeing animals whose populations are declining worldwide—and animals that we, as humans, normally wouldn’t have the chance to see in their natural habitats—there were several things that left us disappointed. A large number of the birds were kept indoors and out of sight due to the cold weather, which is completely understandable, but still unfortunate for visitors. The reptiles and invertebrates section, which is one of the three main parts of the aquarium, was entirely closed because of renovations. Besides that, several other large areas of the zoo were also closed and inaccessible for the same reason. Despite all this, and without clear prior information, we paid nearly 70 euros for two people on a weekday, which left us quite upset. I strongly believe that by paying this amount, we deserved to experience the entire park—otherwise, the ticket price should have been lower.

The zoo was beautiful, very well designed, and we really loved it. Even though it was raining, it was still super comfortable, with plenty of impressive indoor areas. Highly recommended!

The most beautiful Zoo that my husband and I have visited. 🥰 It's really huge. 😁 You need to reserve a whole day for the excursion. Unfortunately, we didn't have that time. 😓 Because this Zoo has really beautiful enclosures for the animals. The animals are in the best condition. They are really happy. 😌😍 The workers takes very good care of the entire Zoo. We liked everything here. 😍 Unfortunately, we're sorry that we didn't see everything. However, the price for admission is good and acceptable.👍😊

One of the best shopping malls in Germany. Great architecture and facade of a building, very intricate and sophisticated interiors. Spacious, but could be crowded for obvious reasons. I would recommend to visit it during a week or in the morning on Saturday. Be careful with pastry and cakes. There are so many and delicious as well. You can visit Samsung store in a technology corner and check many other gadgets and products. There are plenty of restaurants and food corners, great selection of meat and fish 🐠

KaDeWe is a must-visit in Berlin! The shopping area offers a beautiful mix of luxury brands and elegant atmosphere. The pâtisserie on the top floor is exceptional — the éclairs are light, creamy, and absolutely delicious. A perfect place to shop, relax, and indulge!

A very large mall containing all luxury brands, and on the top floor there is a very large restaurant offering all kinds of food from all over the world.

If you decided to participate in the vanity of the entire street, whether it's your choice of lifestyle or just for fun as a tourist, you can either waste your time standing in line for one of the famous purses & handbags stores, or go up to the top floor and enjoy exquisit smells and tastes. 5 starts for the exhibition, 2 starts for the life style.

Always a stellar experience. The food court on the 6th floor is incredible and the winter garden on the 7th has a great view. If you have a question, or need help, the staff are willing and knowledgeable. Taking into account, of course, the dry Berliner sense of humour.
