Yes you have a Poutine but putting maple flavours in a dish doesn't make it Canadian. We had the perogies to start and I'm not sure the chef has ever seen what a perogie is. Bearly any filling, bacon over cooked, the dough undercooked on one side and only 2 for $18 is mind boggling. The mains were nothing to write home about either. Risotto had olive oil just splashed on top for some reason making the whole dish super oily and the rice was under cooked. The "french onions" with the steak tasted like it had apple puree in it it was so sweet. Steak was cooked well though and the salsa verde was nice. They have this share thing going on as well which is kinda weird as you would expect a $30 risotto to share would be at least a main size of a bit larger but when it came out and was the about a cup and half of risotto it's confusing what they are trying to do. Steak was probably about 200g of rump as a share for $30 so the concept is definitely off. The servers did clarify that the meals aren't mains and are ment for 2 to share but why does that make them smaller dishes? If your looking at the pics of the food/menu on google be warned that they are all of the menu that stops at 3. They have a different menu for dinner which is another thing that doesn't make sense to me. You change from a place that has some actual dishes with a Canadian feel and just stop at 3? Why not take this all the way through? Overall not interested is going back and might need to rethink the "Canadian" menu.

So waiter stuffed the order so we had to re order. Then whilst we waited the elderly waiter from the other table proceeded to walk around with no useful purpose, just looking whilst chewing open mouthed on some allegedly tasty morsel 🤷‍♂️. I won't go into detail but score on. Entrees average "2", Mains "4" & that's out of 10. Cake provided 10/10. I was driving so only drinking soft drinks & water (Schooner of soda water $3.50) So to sum up, not in a rush to go back!! However, on the drive home we decided we had more to talk about than if we'd been to a reliable, good food venue with great service. Then that's all we would have to discuss 😂😂 Great night with great relatives & friends but avoid at all costs if you're looking for good food & service. I'm kind of glad we came home & didn't stay.
